A
Good morning, girlies. It's the toast. It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host. It's your favorite show, the best five
B
things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast.
A
They sound amazing.
B
Welcome back to the Toast and happy Tuesday, the first Tuesday in May. I. I'm your host, Tourney Rivers, wearing my finest leggings to criticize all the high fashion looks at last night's Met gala. And I'm joined by my barrel jean wearing sister, Jacqueline Foley, former editor of Runway Paris.
A
Jert Rivers.
B
Jerk. And Turt Rivers. Like, everyone's so afraid. I love that, like, fashion police these days is like, oh, I don't love her shoe. Yeah. Out of 10 would have paired it
A
with a different shoe.
B
Me, ugly dress. Ugly girl. Like, I'm here to clock in. I'm here to say the things that people won't say. Even though there wasn't anything, like, obscenely offensive.
A
Yeah. I think the general tone is going to be like, everyone looked beautiful. The place looked great. The place looked great, actually. The carpet was beautiful.
B
Wedding inspo. Like those lavender, like ceiling flower murals. It was really quite beautiful.
A
I saw a tweet that was like, the carpet look like a Jewish wedding at Cipriani.
B
Yes. And it did in a beautiful way. Megal is our first story. We'll try and just continue this story.
A
I'm actually, like, I'm not being confined to the Fast 5 today. You know, like, I'm gonna talk about the things that we need to talk about. Whether that in total is 5 or 1000. It is what it is. You just can't really put us in a box on the first Tuesday in May.
B
And before we dive into, like, all the Tuesday responsibilities, I have a couple of things I just need to chat with you about. Pffc, if you will.
A
Okay.
B
The first is that I honestly can't believe it took me almost a year of being a mom to finally pull my back out. Like, floor play this morning. Oh, man, I was doing this dumb thing that I saw on Tick Tock. I can't. I like, I know how it sounds. And I throw at my back. I'm in so much pain. I had to cancel. You know, I'm trying to do two week outs, two workouts a week, and my first one, I feel like this might be the first week. I don't make the two. My back is killing me. I have three icy hots on my back.
A
Like, seriously young floor play Tuesday.
B
Like, I will be an absent Mother. Because I cannot do floor play. I just can't. Like, I can't get on the floor. And look, the one time I get on the floor, I throw at my back.
A
Yeah, yeah, that's okay. That's okay.
B
Like, I always sit in the rocking chair while, like, Ben does the floor play and I just watch. You know, I'm like one of those moms who like wraps herself up in a robe and just watches.
A
Yeah. Well, I once saw. And this is so true, it's like the. Not that Ruby's a toddler, but like the physical years, let's say like one and up. Those are for the dad.
B
Agreed.
A
The baby years are for the mom. Cuz when you have a baby, there's only so much a dad can do. Like, the mom has to do it. But like, when things start getting physical, dad, clock in. It's your time to shine.
B
Yeah, I was really doing too much. I'm so annoyed. Like, having your back out while you're trying to like, run a business. Be a present. Mother. Like play mahjong. So annoying.
A
Yeah, yeah. Especially those Maj chairs. For sure.
B
Yeah. That's the first thing I want to tell you about.
A
I'm sorry. You're foolish. Lame Attie.
B
Thank you. The second thing I think you'll find interesting. So you know the Knicks are in the playoffs.
A
I do know. And I know because Timothy Chalamet wasn't at the Mecca. That's how I know.
B
And Right. And Ben Stiller wore like the ugliest orange tie to like match his wife's blue dress in Nyx colors. And then left. I think he literally went to the carpet and left. I saw him getting into a car going to the next.
A
So Timothy could have.
B
Absolutely.
A
And if he wanted to, he would have.
B
But I was watching. And so we're playing Philly, which is just like a. It's a heated rivalry because it's, you know, an hour away, you know, dueling cities, whatever. And Carl Anthony Towns actually has like a really long. I'm not sure of, like, the route, but huge beef with Joel Embiid from the other team. So it's kind of Joellen Joel Embiid. So he has this like, long standing beef with Karl Anthony Towns, Jordan woods fiance.
A
Oh.
B
And so we knew it was just going to be heated. Team Chloe, something like that. He's team Tristan. I don't know like where the beef originated, but everyone just knew this was going to be like, you know, there was going to be like some scuffles on the court. Jackie, last Night there was an all out brawl. I couldn't believe what I was watching when I saw the video. I fell asleep in the middle of the game. Obviously, Jackie. And you know who it comes back to? You're going to crack up. You know who's on the Sixers?
A
Danilo Gallinari.
B
No. Close. Actually, not close at all. Here, I'll give you a clue. Close. I'll give you a clue.
A
Ben Simmons. Cookies.
B
Yes, cookies. That was the clue. Jackie, I am excited. And you know I can't get involved in sports because I'm such an empath because I'm literally calling for Ben Simmons to be expelled from the league. Jackie. He was on the floor with Jordan woods fiance in a headlock, choking him. He was literally. Carl Anthony Towns was on the floor on his stomach. He was tapping out like he was in a wrestling match. He was like, get off of me. Being choked by Ben Simmons. Like, seriously, I'm calling. I can't support this league if they don't take action. You can't choke someone. Like, of course, you know, the guys get into it. You know, it's small. Whatever. It's a rivalry. I'm sorry. Putting someone in a headlock and choking them. I. And obviously his sister like, makes him unfavorable to me. And ready. He was already off to a bad start.
A
His sister taught him that.
B
Yes. You guys, I not to be like a narc and take it so seriously. I couldn't believe what I was watching and I feel like there has to be consequences. And I heard he's not even that good, so it won't affect the team anyway.
A
Yeah.
B
Can you believe if I showed you this video you wouldn't believe what you were seeing. It's so unacceptable.
A
So then what happened?
B
I don't know. I was asleep and I at least saw the clip on Bleacher Report. But like, I hope, I mean, sure, Jordan woods was freaking out.
A
Like her man is literally being choked by Kendall's man.
B
By Kendall's man. And who's like a big loser. He like the comments were like, where was this energy like for the game? You know, like he doesn't play, he doesn't shoot, he doesn't score. But like you're over here choking Carl Anthony Town on behalf of Joel. I don't know if it was on behalf. I don't know like how we got to that place. But like, you know, scuffles happen. You know, they shove. It's like not a big deal. This unlike some other I've ever seen. That's why I came with hockey. Like.
A
Oh yeah. But at least hockey, that's hockey. You know, you know what you're getting.
B
Yeah. So I don't watch it. But as like, as an empath, I, I really, I personally, I want to see some consequences maybe.
A
Did he get suspended? Well, he doesn't play, so they couldn't take him out of the game.
B
Yeah, it wouldn't really affect anything. It might actually only help the Sixers if they got him off the team. I just think it was crazy. That was the second thing I wanted to say. The third thing I wanted to say. My pffb checklist has been officially checked off is I had to cancel a lot of things today because my back was thrown out. But I didn't cancel one because I have a huge, huge thing happening this this afternoon.
A
Crack. Crazier meth.
B
It's probably not crazier than meth.
A
Okay.
B
I'm filming my historical tick Tock with my friend Johnny who makes those like New York videos. We're doing it in the park.
A
I can't wait. I'm actually, I'm in historical New York because I'm reading the It Girl. We're recording for Redheads today.
B
Did you finish it?
A
No. And let me tell you, this is the tightest I've ever been. I'm literally walking. Say that every. Claudia. We're recording today at 4 o' clock and I'm 72 done. I'm walking around my house with my phone in my pocket playing the book. Like I'm in a rough spot.
B
That makes me sad because I feel like you're not really experiencing the book. Like delicious experience.
A
Up to 58 last night and then this morning. Now it's crunch time. I'm gonna be driving all day. I'll be listening to the book. I still don't know if I'm gonna finish it. I actually was like either going to move the episode, but like tomorrow's Margo's birthday and so obviously she's not going to record. And if we don't like, if we don't record today of we're like we're never recording. I was also going to ask you like, do you want to host it? Like you've read the book.
B
Oh, I would love to, but I don't really remember. Like I have to be so fresh.
A
Yeah, I know.
B
And I'm meeting Johnny Murtaugh in the park.
A
You know, I just feel like that would be like such a shake up because it's also my book. So not only Do I have to have read it? Which I've never not finished. Redheads book. Like, I'm leading the discussion, so I have to, like, know how it ends.
B
Um, I will say the end is probably the worst part. Like, she made it 10% too long.
A
Oh, I. It's feeling that way. I'm like. I feel like I get the point. Why is this book not over?
B
Yeah. Right. So. And then the end is, like, kind of silly. Like.
A
Yeah. Between, like, trying to read, trying to get the boys down. Like, trying to have an eye out for the Met Gala.
B
Right.
A
Looking camp right in the eye.
B
The Met Gala is just so weird because we all sit down to watch, like, a private event. There's no show. Like, we don't. We just watch the carpet.
A
Red carpet. Yeah.
B
Which I thought Vogue did a pretty good job, obviously. Like, I have notes for the host and I have notes for the production team, too. Like, I get that it's very much like an insider event, and I like that they've never, like, shied away. It's become like a real public, a list Hollywood thing. But it is, at its core, like a fashion and arts event. And they never stop inviting those people. But I don't know who those people are. So it really would have been helpful if every time they were showing someone on screen, they could have had their name. Even people, they get so dressed up sometimes I didn't recognize them. Like, I was looking at this girl. I was like, I know you. Who are you? Who are you? Yeah, it was Elizabeth DeBecky Prince, Diana from the crowd. Like, people just look so vastly different. They really should have had just a little bar at the bottom with the person's name they were interviewing or who was being shown on the red carpet. It would have just made the experience so much more organized for me.
A
Even for celebrities. Like, some. First of all, some of them cover their face. So I actually.
B
Yeah. Katy Perry.
A
And also. Yeah, I don't know everyone. Like, who's this Hudson Williams?
B
Well, like, everyone knows him.
A
Who the heck is that?
B
Are you serious?
A
Yes.
B
Heated rivalry.
A
I. Oh, I never watched it.
B
So there's two heated rivalries and two guys from heated rivalry. And everyone. No, two guys. Like, the main. The love interest is Hudson Williams and Connor's story and everyone.
A
Another one whose picture I saw that. I'm like, you look like they love him.
B
Like, everyone's obsessed with him and everyone hates the other one. Like, I actually feel bad for him.
A
So I never read the book. I didn't watch the show. Are the Two of them gay lovers.
B
Yes. While also being hockey players and.
A
But is Hudson Williams with Daisy Edgar Jones? I saw them walking.
B
I saw them getting out of a Sprinter together. No. So. And I think part of the reason why everyone really likes Connor story is because he's gay. And then Hudson Williams I think is engaged to a woman or in like a long term relationship. So I think people. It was just like he was never going to be loved.
A
Was he just. Was his character bisexual?
B
No, no, no, they're gay. Well, they were both like closeted. You know, I never saw the show but like as far as I understand, various tiktoks. No, I have read one. Hockey is like a very.
A
People are so obsessed with this show or movie. Like they're gonna yell us. They're gonna.
B
I know, I know. I just feel like I never watched it when it was popular and like now it's too late.
A
Yeah, it just missed me. Like.
B
Well, they. As far as I know, based on like the clips I've seen in.
A
Did you see that Cassie left Nate? She got a motel room. Did you see that?
B
No, he's not with Daisy Edgar Jones. And I don't know why they. But I also think at some point it's just logistics. Like a lot of the brands, like if you go with a brand, you have to go like maybe they wore the same designer. Designer has one sprinter van for sure.
A
But they also seem to be holding hands. But yeah, I agree.
B
Yeah, I have a lot of thoughts. A lot of mean ones, a lot of nice ones, a lot of just critical ones. So we'll get into it in the first story. And we have, you know, scheduling programming update moved Dear toasters till tomorrow. Today's just feels like it's gonna be a long show.
A
Yeah, it's gonna be a long show. Major MET Gala recap. I think we have like total like MET gala and then like two or three other need to discuss stories. But I'm not gonna like drag it out with some nonsense when we got to do.
B
Yeah, yeah. So are you saying we should just like cut the pffb and go.
A
I guess we could cut and go. I've just been like in a flurry. We went out for dinner last night, which was super cute because the restaurant was near a lawn so we were able to enjoy a lot. We have to like. And that's why I need to. Where are those McDonald's that have like the play gyms indoors?
B
Like they are a thing of the past. I think, like they're. It was a notoriously litigious affair, but
A
I can probably dine at restaurants that have a little rec area. Rec for recreation. And yes, last night we went to dinner for Olivia's husband's birthday.
B
Hilarious.
A
And there was like a little lawn nearby, so everybody was happy.
B
Patch of grass needed.
A
Patch of grass needed. A couple sticks and we're good.
B
Yeah, right? Yeah. No, bring back those, like play gems.
A
I know.
B
That was such an iconic. And I do think that they got sued a lot for like kids falling and stuff. So they just got rid of them because they were not worth. Oh, wait, speaking of sued, like, major news that got really buried yesterday, which I'm sure will be a story is like lively.
A
Yes.
B
Oh, not her showing up. I have a lot of thoughts. Let's just dive in.
A
Okay. Without further ado that do, here are the past five stories that you that do need to know and the Fast
B
5 stories that you do need to know is brought to you by a brand that I wish that I started. It's Vivrel and it's literally the most genius thing ever. And if you really do fall in love with something, you can buy it directly from them and you are going to get a great price, great price on the bag. So much better than retail. It's a great way to like if you're really into designer bags but you don't want to spend the money. A lot of bags are really trendy, so it's like you spend a lot of money and then it's not even cool the next year or you don't have the space in your New York City apartment. Whatever reasoning you might have for wanting to try Vivrel, there's never a bad one. They have bags, obviously, but they have designer accessories, they have jewelry. Thank you, Dot.
B
You're welcome.
A
Our first story. Met Gala 2026. All the Lukes on the red carpet. So the stars were out last night in Manhattan for the met gala. The theme was fat costume art explorer.
B
The theme was fat. No, it wasn't.
A
I was about to say fashion. I was sorry, but costum art.
B
I want to say that. Did you find that the Vogue live stream was so high quality and I feel like not to be one of those because, like, who care? But people are so skinny. I feel like celebrities. It's hard to really tell how skinny they are unless you're like seeing them in person. But it was so clear. The livestream. Gracie Abrams, like, her bones. Like, I could see everyone's bones. It was honestly like a great advertisement for the camera.
A
It was safero.
B
Well, that too.
A
Yeah. No, everyone was really looking Parachute. I was not going to say fat. I was gonna say fashion is art. But costume or art exploring the centrality of the dress. Body and dress code dubbed appropriately. Fashion is art. Okay, so it is both. So it was a mixture of either the theme, like look naked or look like a piece of famous art.
B
Yes. So I feel like it's less obvious this year. Like last year, I feel was like a real theme. Black dandyism. Like that is a style of Dress.
A
Yes.
B
And it was much easier to say, like, you're in theme. You're not in theme. My criticisms for the looks this year are really not going to be based on the theme because the. The theme is so generic.
A
Yeah.
B
And, like, a lot of people just, like, wore a corset. And you were technically in theme because it's like, body.
A
Yeah.
B
Which is also confusing because it was just heavenly bodies.
A
It had heavenly bodies. But so some of people looked like a piece of artwork. And some of the references, once you see them, like, are really strong. Or Kendall and Kylie were dressed like famous statues.
B
Yes. And, like, some people literally wore copies of dress. Like Madonna's is literally a painting.
A
Yes. As is. Who was the other one? Oh, the one. Rachel Zegler.
B
Yeah. Lady of Jane.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Chloe Bennett of Vogue. Editor in Chief.
B
Is that her name?
A
No, the first name was. Right.
B
What's her last name? Mali. Yeah. Chloe Bennett's a girl from H2O.
A
Like, what's H2O?
B
Clown Clay. Oh, no, the. Sometimes it's insane that, like, you host a pop culture podcast.
A
What are you talking about? Genuinely? Clara. Claire Gnar nar.
B
Clio.
A
What is that? Is that on taste or is that a show?
B
H2O?
A
I'll Google it. Let me just.
B
It's a show. It's called H2O. And it was, like, Australian girls who are mermaids and they can't get wet because if they do, they'll turn into mermaids. You don't remember that show, I believe. Claire Holt, Matt Kaplan's ex wife. Is that it? Clothes and a girl. Cleo.
A
No, they said Cleo Sertori.
B
No, no, that's. Cleo is the name of the character
A
who's portrayed by Phoebe Tonkin.
B
Yes. Phoebe Tonkin. Is Claire Holt in that, or am I making that up? Oh, gosh, she's Australian. She is.
A
She is.
B
And is somebody named Chloe Bennett?
A
I'm seeing Cleo. Nor the condensation.
B
No, the condensation. You don't know that. You never watch that show.
A
No, no.
B
The same childhood.
A
Nor. I never watched the condensation. Okay, back to the Met gal.
B
I don't even think Chloe Bennett's in the show. Okay, sorry, Go back.
A
Back to the Met gala. Chloe, the new editor in chief also looked like a painting.
B
Yes. Do you want to go through all the looks? Do you want to say some of your favorites? I have.
A
Let's go through all the looks because I want to talk them through. I have my early favorites, but I feel like maybe I could be Persuaded in one way or the other. Once we, like, talk everything out. So let's save best and worst.
B
Of course, my favorite, my worst is going nowhere. And I actually think in years past I'll have to check old episodes, this person might have been my worst dressed then also. Okay, can I say it or you
A
want me to wait, then pot.
B
No, but I actually liked his outfit.
A
I. You know, he's always my worst dress, even when he's not there.
B
I know, right?
A
I don't know what to do with myself because I liked his outfit a
B
thousand percent and stressed. My worst stress is like, hands down, not even a question. Like, everybody else can go home Heidi club. Like she. Is she fucking serious? Honestly, she should never be allowed back.
A
Agreed. She got confused. She thought it was her Halloween party.
B
She got her dates mixed. Not a costume. Not the last Sunday in October, but the first Monday in May.
A
Yeah. Okay, let's go through the Vogue article of all of the Lukes and discuss our thoughts. So first up here we have Rihanna and Asaporak Me.
B
And I don't like it. And that pains me because I love Rihanna, but I just don't like it. Like, just. I don't know the meaning. I'm just saying, like, aesthetics. I just don't like it.
A
It never occurred to me that I might not like it, you know, because I'm just like, they look amazing. They're fashion Persona.
B
Of course.
A
It's great. Like, they crushed it. She is the Met Gala. So if I didn't like it, I wouldn't even know because I'm just like, well, this is. I know, I know.
B
Rihanna.
A
Yeah. No, and I still feel that way. Like she's a new mama. Like, anything she wears that she wants to wear. Like, you're amazing.
B
Best dressed.
A
Next we have Emma Chamberlain in Mugler.
B
I don't have that. We're on different lists. What are you on the. The vogue? See every Met Gala 2026 red carpet look from last year.
A
Okay, send me that. I'm on Vogue. The best dressed stars at the.
B
Just go to the Vogue website. Go to Homepage. It was like the first thing that popped up. And if you guys want to follow along, go to the website. And we're going through. See Every Met Gala 2026 red carpet look from last night.
A
On my way.
B
Next up, they had Beyonce, who I apparently everybody knew because on my Instagram, I was like, I'm shocked. I picked my head up and I thought I was. I'm like, no way. Beyonce. But apparently she was like a Chair of the event. Everyone was like, you didn't know that
A
she's a chair of the event?
B
I didn't know that. She hasn't gone in 10 years. So everybody, like, calling me out for not knowing that. Like, how did everybody know that? I was shocked to see her. I think she really came. A lot of people, like, hard launched their kids last night. They used it. It was very much like a Nepo event. And so I think she really went for Blue because Blue was having this moment. It's crazy work to put your daughter in Balenciaga. I just want to say I. I'm sorry. I think that's nuts. But she looked great. She really did.
A
Yeah. Also, Nicole Kidman brought her daughter and. But typically the Mecca doesn't allow people under 18. Oh. But like they have said. Because they said it's like, not.
B
She might not have gone in. She might not have gone in.
A
But they've said, like, if you're accompanied by your parents, like, it's okay.
B
Chaperone.
A
So they were okay. Plus, Nicole and Beyonce were part of the board, so they could do whatever they want.
B
So Beyonce's look, I really wish she didn't have the jacket. Like, first of all, I was watching her on the live stream. She was in hell. She was huffing and puffing. She was sweating so much. Like, she's wearing this probably dress that weighs 50 pounds and then this enormous fur coat, which I think ruined the look because the whole bodies thing. And then here she is wearing a skeleton. Like, I get body. Oh, yeah. And it's a sick dress. And I think that the jacket covers up a lot of, like, the work.
A
Yep.
B
And I just, I love the head piece. I love the dress. I hate the jacket.
A
I agree completely.
B
But it's so funny about Beyonce. Like, you, she. Her Persona is like so much larger than life. And I never, like, hear her talk. Right. She doesn't do interviews. Like, she doesn't have a podcast. So every time. And I can't remember the last time I just heard her speak. It's always people speaking about her or she's showing up in a look. She was interviewed by Lala and she's just like a. She's just a mom, you know? Every answer was like, what are you excited about to be here with Blue? What's new this year? I'm seeing it through the eyes of my daughter. Like, she was just actually giving really sweet answers. And she's kind of like, she was giving shy. She was like, just very delightful and shy. And I feel Like, I know so much more of, like, her impact than I do her personality.
A
Yeah.
B
I wasn't expecting her. She's just, like, so, like a mom.
A
Yeah. Low key.
B
Yeah, Very low key.
A
Yeah. That's very sweet. Next we have Teyana Taylor and Tom Ford.
B
I. This lookup ruined for me because I watched her on the stream posing, and that happened a lot. Like Rachel Zegler. Oh, my God. She looked like she had tmj. She was like. Like, these people are crazy.
A
You were gonna otherwise love Rachel Cyclers, of course.
B
You guys know I'm such a big fan. So Tiana Taylor. Like, I'm looking at this picture. This is a sick dress. It's literally a work of art. But I can't get over, like, her movements. They were insane.
A
Yeah, yeah. It's always awkward to see, like, someone, like, smiling or not even what she was doing is different, but just someone, like, getting their picture taken. It's just very awkward to see now.
B
I feel like one of my biggest criticisms of the Met this year is not necessarily anyone's looks. It's more so I feel like it doesn't feel that exclusive anymore. I feel like it's supposed to represent at least how I interpret it. Maybe I'm interpreting it incorrectly. Like, the year of work. Like, it's supposed to represent that year. Like, kind of how, like, Dixie d' Amelio went one year, which is insane. But, like, it represented the year.
A
Yes. Yes, it should. But then there are people who had a big year three years ago and are. Are still worth inviting.
B
Right. So that's kind of how I feel about Doja Cat. Like, I was really surprised to see her there.
A
Yes. But, like, I think she's a huge artist. She's very fashion and she's art, and she's.
B
She's very fashion and art.
A
I'm not surprised to see her there. And I thought she looked great.
B
Yeah, I thought she looked great, too. I actually like her as a blonde.
A
Yeah. I really like this look.
B
Nicole Kidman. More Chanel. She was, like, the first one there because she's one of the chairs. She brought her daughter, who was also wearing Chanel. Hard launch. Nepo, baby. The dress is really pretty, but she just, like, does look like she's going to the Oscars, which, like, she goes to a lot of black tie events, and this just didn't feel that different.
A
Yeah. But I think she looks great. I don't know the reference or to not reference, but I don't have any complaints.
B
You know, I don't know the reference. Iva.
A
Then we have Tyler.
B
Cute.
A
Yeah, very pretty.
B
Really cute. Her hair was wet.
A
Very pretty.
B
Sabrina. Okay, so this is really inspired.
A
It was. She was channeling Audrey Hepburn in the movie Sabrina, and her. Her dress was made out of film tape of the movie.
B
Of the movie.
A
Yeah.
B
It's. It's truly. Fashion is art. Art being fashion. Like, this is. It's kind of giving. What's that Project Runway challenge where they have to make. They have to make a dress out of, like, garbage? It's called the something something materials challenge. Like, un. This is gonna bother me so much. You know what I'm talking about? They do it every year in Project Runway.
A
I don't watch that much Project Run.
B
They take them to a dumpster. What is the word I'm looking for? It's like, unconventional materials challenge.
A
Unconventional materials. Yes, that's exactly it. Honestly, it was a huge night for Breener. Not only did she say the theme, the look, the carpet, everything. She performed inside, she did a couple of her hits. She performed with Stevie Nicks, Landslide, like, All Eyes and Breener. I'm sorry if she didn't, like, get a boyfriend last night. What were you doing?
B
Yeah, I just also want to say I hate her shoes.
A
Oh, so you're being one of those.
B
Sorry. Oh, my God. No, I just. I feel like people are not, like, criticizing, like, yeah, this looks amazing. The shoes are bad. I do feel like she has a complex because she's so short. So, like, she had to wear these stompers, but they're just, like, so distracting.
A
I guess it works for me. It doesn't bother me. I'm cracking up that you're one of those people. I love the look. I would change the shoes. Even though Breener should have gotten a boyfriend last night, Like, I actually don't know who in that room would be worthy of her. I feel like a man going, like, solo to the Met gal is kind of icky.
B
There were also not a lot of boys there. Like, nobody brought their boyfriend.
A
No one did.
B
Nobody asked.
A
No Brooks, no Taryn, no Brooks.
B
But Grace Ann was there.
A
Does that.
B
Was anybody else confused by that? And the Brooks dropped her off. I feel like they literally put her in as, like, Brooks Nader, and, like, she took her seat and everything, but, like, showed up as Grace and Because, like, why would Grace and be there?
A
I have no idea. Why wasn't Brooks there?
B
I don't know. Brooks was. Was, I think, like, in the sprinter with. With Grace Anne and dropped her off.
A
It'll be on the show whatever it is.
B
That's true. Next up we have one of my best dress. I don't know if anyone's Gonna come close. Ms. Hailey Bieber.
A
Yep.
B
The color is stunning. The gold plated, like, it's just insane. It's a reference to an old sailor on. She's wearing sailor. It's gorgeous. I wish she actually didn't take the scarf off though. She took it off at the very bottom of the steps and all the pictures are with the remainder of the dress. And I think that the scarf really makes it special and it looks, you know, like a statue with like the Draper drapery.
A
Yeah, no, she looks amazing. Where was Justin? Oh, yeah, I always like a couple pictures. They always do good couple pictures too. So we didn't get any of that. But yeah, no, she looks amazing. You could tell she probably had the best night ever. She's comfortable, she's beautiful, her hair's up. She could dance the night away.
B
Well, she also, I feel like made everyone look so bad because let me tell you, she's has a slick back bun, barely any jewelry, a little highlighter and she's one of the best dressed. Meanwhile, there are people that are wearing like 60 pound dresses who just look stupid. Like they can't. I actually feel like all the others were like mad at her.
A
Yeah, but you could do it too. I guess some people, like, they just have to wear what the designer says. But even people who looked stupid have a little more agency than that. Like some of them were big stars.
B
She looked insane.
A
Next we have Charlie. Charlie xcx. She's wearing some like Monet flowers on her chest.
B
Hate. She needed a necklace and I, I hate her hair. In the words of Nicki Minaj, I hate, hate, hate your hair and makeup today. This hair is just like so corny. I just don't like it.
A
The hair is corny.
B
Yeah, it's like so like glam. Instagram Glam from 2016.
A
Yeah, yeah, it's giving like dated pop star.
B
Yes.
A
That, that is interesting because she's not a corny girl whatsoever.
B
No, this whole look is just weird. I think she's so art.
A
Yeah, no, I like the dress. But you know, a black dress, it's hard like I wanted. Especially in this theme when it's art, pal. It's vibrant. Like it's. Yeah, it's, it's not, it's not for me. But she looks like Charlie, you know?
B
Yeah.
A
So it's like she's Charlie X's is wearing flowers in her own way.
B
Cardi B. And Marc Jacobs, also very, very close. She should thank Heidi Klum, because she would have been my worst dress.
A
What is going on? I. I have no idea. Are those supposed to be breasts?
B
Well, she got there late, so I do think she missed the stream, so we only saw pictures. She. She looks like she has, like, hemorrhoids on her shoulders. Like, this is just bad.
A
Yeah, I. But they. Are they meant to be boobs?
B
I didn't think that they were meant to be boobs. I. I honestly have no idea. I don't know if the reference. I don't know. I don't care. It's just ugly.
A
It's Marc Jacobs.
B
Ugly is what it is.
A
Next we have Colman Domingo.
B
So I feel like it's hard for men to stand out. This is the first man we're talking about. I actually like what he's wearing.
A
I like what he's wearing, too. It is very art.
B
It's art. I don't know what the reference is, but you know what? He looks handsome, and I like the jacket, so I'm gonna leave it at that.
A
No, I have.
B
Have.
A
I. I have no negative thoughts. Next we have Ayo, Edebiri, and Chanel. Beautiful.
B
It is really beautiful. But I do feel like there was, like, a certain piece of art that a lot of people referenced. Kendall. There was another girl. I forget. It's like this angelic. She.
A
She and Kendall reference the exact same. Yeah.
B
So I feel like there's, like, a genre of art that a lot of people reference, including AO Atteberry. And, like, hers falls flat compared to the others. For me.
A
Yes. But it is a beautiful silhouette, and you can't go wrong. Whereas other years, a lot of people do a similar sort thing, and it's not nearly as beautiful as looking like a goddess or a statue. And so this is, like, I guess, the safe choice of the night.
B
Yes.
A
But it's incredibly beautiful. And another one who probably had a great time felt very comfortable and very beautiful.
B
Yes.
A
So I. I think that's a great. Like, you know, if you were going to the Met gal and you didn't know what to wear, that is very safe and.
B
Yeah, good. Yeah, safe.
A
Next we have Kim Kardashian wearing a sculptor. And, you know, Kim is really one of the ones to watch at the Met gala. So a lot of pressure and eyes on Ms. Kim. What do you think?
B
And I have to say, I actually really like it. I heard her explain the. She worked with an actual artist who makes, like, these types of sculptures. He doesn't make clothes. They like added a skirt to his pre existing like piece of art. So she's literally wearing art. It's like a real reference. It's crazy to not be wearing pants. Like, remember when Sabrina, I think it was last year, Black dandyism, like wore like a leotard. It's crazy just not to be wearing pants. Yeah, but, but I love her blonde hair. I think the glam is great. I actually, I feel like Kim is always falling flat for me these days, like in fashion, especially at the Met gala. Like I can't remember the last time. She really took my breath away. And I love this.
A
I love it too. It's different. She was like with the old man sculptor. She left him at the door of her Sprinter. Did you see those videos? I was like, is he gonna. He like walked her all the way from, from the hotel and then he's like in with the bodyguards. I'm like, like, is he gonna go in? And then he didn't really Sad. No, it was kind of sad.
B
Oh, no.
A
I don't know what like the plan was, but I just didn't like seeing him left on the side of the road.
B
I don't like that either. She showed up with Chris who was like doing her Chris thing. She always just wears like a really not safe but like really mother of the bride.
A
Yeah, like mother. Like you know, appropriate on theme a little bit. She was wearing Dolce last night. She usually wears a tiny hill figure. I know, it's just, it's never about her. Except for the one year where she dressed like Jack, Jackie Kennedy and she looked amazing.
B
Yeah. Yes.
A
Yeah. Ivy blue Ivy and Balenciaga.
B
So like I said to have your 13 or 14 year old daughter where Balenciaga is insane. But she does look really cool and good. And there's like a trend with young people, like showing off your tan lines.
A
I don't know if you know that that's a pro.
B
Yeah, it's like a thing that like people do. It like looks cool. So she's doing that. So it's like it's cool to have Gen Z representation.
A
Oh, that's cool. Because like in our day that was so uncouth.
B
Of course. You would literally lay out naked so you didn't have the lines.
A
Yeah.
B
Now it's being embraced.
A
Oh, okay. I didn't know that was happening.
B
Yeah.
A
So she crushed the look.
B
Yeah.
A
It must be very intimidating. How old is she now? Like 14, something like that. So that's hard beyond this carpet. I'm glad you wear sunglasses. I feel like that does give you, like, a level of.
B
Well, there's actually this video where, like, the stylist and her mom and everyone's telling her to take off their glasses and she won't do it.
A
That was like, Chloe.
B
Yeah.
A
They didn't want her to walk with glasses, but it's like a shield. I'm glad she walked with courses.
B
Yeah.
A
And the lights are so bright. It's a lot. It's a lot.
B
Yep.
A
Next we have Serena Williams, which is hard. Swarovski. Right.
B
Because that's my queen. And I just, I don't like any part of this. I also think it's crazy to wear a watch. Like, and it's not an Apple watch or anything, it's just, like, a big. I'm sure it's like a 300, 000 watch, but it's just, it must be
A
the brand she went with. I think she went with Swarovski, so, like, she had to wear their watch.
B
Oh, I think, like, I just want to skip this because I'm incapable of saying a bad word about it.
A
I like her shoes. I like her.
B
Oh, really?
A
Strappy shoes.
B
Oh, I don't.
A
I like the shoes.
B
You don't like the girl, do you?
A
Like the glam? I like the glam.
B
Yes, yes, yes. She has got a beat.
A
It's always good to find one positive.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay, next we have Emma Chamberlain wearing Mugler, aforementioned.
B
It's beautiful. It's actually insane. Her transformation, like, I'm sorry if you used to, like, watch her YouTube, just to realize, like, that's this girl. I'll never get over it. She was doing hosting for E. I didn't. Not E. Excuse me. For Vogue. I didn't see her. She wasn't on the mainstream. She must have been doing, like, social, like, Tick tock, live stream or whatever. But she's quite literate, and I wouldn't even consider her, like, a creator anymore. But there was not one influencer there. Nobody from TikTok. I thought it was like, actually they did. They absolutely did.
A
Threw away the key.
B
So I feel like they were really exclusive in terms of, like, keeping out digital talent. But I didn't feel like there was exclusivity elsewhere. There were a couple of people, and I'll say them when we come to them, but I was really shocked. But no influencers. Zero.
A
Yeah, I, I. And where do you think that comes from?
B
I don't know.
A
It's.
B
I mean, I do think they leaned in too hard a few years ago when they had, like, a YouTube sponsorship and every YouTuber was there. Like, that was weird. James Charles. NikkieTutorials. Like. Like, that was crazy. And then I feel like they briefly leaned in when Tick Tock was really blowing up. They almost, like, couldn't not acknowledge it. They had Addison and Dixie, the girls who were old enough to go, and now nothing. And I do feel like there's actually a lot of high fashion creators.
A
Do you think it's. It's Lauren and Jeff.
B
Oh, let's talk about Lauren and Jeff.
A
Let's talk about Lauren and Jeff. She, like, you're never gonna verse. It's like a chair.
B
She love her. I'm sorry. You will literally never get me to say a bad word about her. I'm so in awe of her. Like, when we talk about women in business and, like, hustling, networking. I'm sorry. Nobody's operating at a higher level.
A
Yeah.
B
Than Ms. Lauren Sanchez Bezos.
A
Yeah. Not only, like, to get to where she's gotten, but then as a two of them, as a team, like, buying the Met gala, buying your way in, like, because you can. And it's like, you know, a lot of people have issue with it. And I saw an interview with Chloe Bennett, the editor in chief of Vogue, and they asked him, they asked her, like, how do you feel about, like. And, you know, I'm probably. I'm sure inside it kills her that
B
she said, yeah, of course.
A
Sell the rat.
B
Take money. Yeah.
A
But she's like, you know, it's been. They said, like, she's a force. She's through in multiple areas in the world. She's, you know, sort of pushes her way in, and it's been amazing for the exhibit. Like, at the end of the day, they are giving money to this thing. This is a fundraiser, and they've got the funds.
B
Well, what's funny is that the involvement of Lauren and Jeff Bezos has. Has now, like, had people turning on the event. Like, Sarah Paulson's outfit was like a. She wore the money over her eyes. It's from a collection called the 1%. Like, it was very much a statement. And a couple of people have boycotted the event because of the Bezos. And it's like, it has always been this. It's always been a group of wealthy people. You can't get in without spending at least a hundred thousand dollars before even buying an outfit. It's always been this, like, obscene display of wealth. So I don't understand why, like, the Bezos is going. Makes it that Much different. It's the same exact thing. It's true. You're just, like, finding a moment to, like, boycott it now.
A
I have more respect for people who just didn't go because it doesn't align with their values. Like, that is respectable if that's how you feel. Sarah Paulson going and making a statement is seriously one of the loser IOUs things I ever saw. Loser sneeze.
B
It's giving. When AOC went and wore dresses and
A
tax rich, I'm like, look around.
B
Maybe you are the rich. Like, look around, look around. Don't tell us. Yeah. So I feel like people. I. People do get, like, their wires crossed now with Bezos's involvement when it's always been this. If it wasn't Bezos, it's another billionaire funding it.
A
Yeah. And I just want to say, like, the people who embrace it, who are just like, yeah, let it. They're having so much fun. And all of you on the sidelines, like, piecing in bottles and leaving it in the museum, you're not having fun. You're not having fun.
B
Lauren's dress was heavily criticized. There was a rumor. I read it on Twitter. And then it turned out not to be true. That, like, because she paid whatever she could, she was wearing Schiaparelli, and that she got, like, an exclusivity. No one else was allowed to wear Schiaparelli. But that's not true because Kylie was wearing Schiaparelli.
A
I would want exclusivity that me and Kylie have to wear the same thing and we have to sit together and,
B
like, everyone was saying her outfit's so boring. Like $10 million just to wear a mother of the bride dress. She's a 50 year old woman. What the do you guys. If she did come out in this, like, insane and be like, oh, she's trying so hard. You know what? I'm sorry. People just hate her. And I love, love, love.
A
Did you see the reference to the art? Reference?
B
I did see the art because the
A
reference was on point. So not only is it, like, a beautiful dress that highlights her fantastic figure, the reference was on point. Madame X. I love her.
B
Like, seriously, you'll never get me to say a bad word about her. I'm trying to get on the yacht.
A
Yeah, no, it's just like, lighten up, have fun, or stay home.
B
Speaking of Kendall Jenner, the Jenna, I
A
just wanted to say I think Emma Chamberlain looks amazing, and I think amazing. I saw the reference, but I didn't even need to see it. It's obviously like, neither brushstrokes of Van Gogh.
B
Like, watercolors.
A
Like, literally. It's a top contender for me.
B
Agreed. Hate her hair. But that's her hair now. Like, that's who she is.
A
That's okay. Our next one, another top contender every year, Kendall Jenner and the Nipple Out.
B
The Nipple out is so such, like, a funny nod to, like, the, I guess, like, body dresses, which is what Kylie did, I think, probably better than anyone. So she had, like, a little slip of it. She's referencing that angelic art. Her dress did open up into, like, a Victoria's Secret angel wing. I don't know why they didn't do it on the carpet, because all the pictures of it are from inside. And by then, like, people just don't care anymore. Like, it's the carpet pick.
A
She should have done it at the top of the carpet if she could have, because once she opens it, she can't close it.
B
So she couldn't do it at the bottom.
A
Right. She'd have all the pictures in it, I imagine. No, I think she looks amazing. It also reminds me of the book I'm reading, the It Girl, when she sits for her portrait and, like, she has to have, like, one boob out. That's.
B
Maybe she's inspired.
A
Maybe she's inspired by Evelyn Talbot.
B
Kylie is next wearing Schiaparelli. It's like, it's. It's actually. The dress itself is insane in terms of, like, the art of it all, because she's wearing a body dress, and it looks like the dress she's actually wearing is being ripped off.
A
Taking it off.
B
I love. I have. I loved it. I. I'm so over the bleached eyebrows thing because I actually thought she was Gabriette.
A
Yeah, I thought she was Gabriette, too. I. I think she looks amazing. Like, really perfection. If it were me, I. I would not have bleached eyebrows. And that's coming from someone, like, with essentially bleached eyebrows. So, like, I can speak to the experience, but, yeah, it just is a little bit distracting when the other. When everything else about the look is just so beautiful and bleaching eyebrows, it's not, like, a beautiful look. It's. It's an intense, like, fashion look.
B
I feel like people just do it to be fashion.
A
If she had leaned into just, like, ethereal beauty, like, it just would have been over the top, but it's still really amazing.
B
Agreed.
A
But it's also, like, how she carries herself so much about it. Like, Kendall. That's why I say, like, anyone If Kendall were anyone's dress here, she'd be best dressed because she just, like, carries herself, like, the best dressed.
B
And Kendall was wearing. A couple of people were wearing Gap. Zack Posen for Gap, which is just a crazy Gap at the Met Gala. But every look I saw of his was actually really good.
A
Yeah.
B
And she was his date.
A
Next we have Alex Khan. Sani.
B
I just feel like this is a safe, boring dress. Like, like I said, if you want it to be in theme, you just wore a corset. And so she's wearing, like, a pretty corset dress.
A
And with the nipple. Like, it's a real nipple, though.
B
Yeah. With, like, a classic big dress, a big jacket.
A
Yeah. The silhouette is pretty classic. But I guess everyone else was wearing fake nipples. Yeah, she pulled out a real one.
B
True. I have to say. Rachel Sinott from I Love la. Who's up next? I loved her outfit. Like, it's so different. Like, I get it. Like, I love it. I do.
A
That's really funny. I don't know her.
B
Oh, she's like the Gen Z girl.
A
Yeah. Yeah. And I don't know her outfit, and I respect it. But you know what? I'm not, like, I'm. It's not for me personally. It's not my taste, but I. I could see how it's on theme team.
B
Next up, we had Gracie Abrams in Chanel. Hate. Hate.
A
But you know that she's referencing woman in gold.
B
I said I hate her hair.
A
Okay. Hate her hair.
B
And no, I didn't know that. It's a pretty dress. It's not like, it's whatever.
A
I just feel like she's not worthy to reference women in gold given, like, all the history of the picture.
B
Yeah, I agree.
A
Yeah.
B
I needed to be a GS. No. Are you sharing positive?
A
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I actually thought she was a Jew and she wasn't worthy, but that doesn't change my stance. She's not worthy. It's a beautiful dress, a beautiful reference. But she's, like, not my favorite Kris
B
Jenner and Dolce obsessed. Like, it's just. It's so Chris.
A
It is so Chris.
B
Joe Burrow, like, looking weird and out of place.
A
Considering he's the second man we've spoken about, I think that he looks good. And, you know, he must feel funny.
B
Definitely.
A
You know he feels funny. I saw a picture of him. Like, a video of him taking a picture with his teammate, and he's probably like, this is so silly and, like, girly. Are you embarrassed?
B
Sizza?
A
There's a lot it's a lot.
B
Yeah.
A
I like. I feel like it could have been a little less.
B
Yeah. There's just a lot. Oh, okay. Chase Infinity. She's up there with best dress. I feel like everyone's talking about.
A
She's up there with whomst for me.
B
With who? Who. Oh, who is. Yeah, She's a new up and coming actress.
A
I asked Liz, and Liz gave me a response that I had no idea what it was.
B
She was just on the Oscar circuit. She was in one battle after another. She's like an up and coming, like, big timey actress. And I love her dress.
A
Liz had a typo because I'm like, I don't know what she said. She's from one Barry. After another one battle one, I'm like, what's one Barry? I really don't know anything.
B
She looks. I. I just love this dress. And you know what's shocking is that it's Tom Brown. And I feel like any outfit I've ever seen of Tom Brown is the ugliest thing ever. And the fact that he made this, like, insanely beautiful, colorful, bright dress that's, like, perfect for her.
A
Yeah.
B
I was shocked.
A
She looks very nice.
B
Bad Bunny wore Zara, which is insane.
A
I guess like an old man. Explain.
B
I can't. I think that also Zara is now. It's like John Galliana, one of those, like, for Zara kind of has act, pose and forget. I don't get it at all. So sorry.
A
I just don't understand why he looked old. And then there was a video of him saying hi to Chris and Kim, and it looks like they're giving him the cold shoulder because he's Kendall sex. But I think it's really because they don't recognize him.
B
I had no idea who it was
A
until how would we ever know who that is?
B
And like, literally, God forbid, Vogue put the names on the live stream. That would have solved the problem.
A
Right? So, yeah. Oh, next we have Dochi.
B
Yeah, Very, like, Greek goddess.
A
Yeah, very beautiful. But, you know, last year she went viral for, like, yelling at everyone.
B
Oh, yes. That video popped up on my Instagram this morning. Making the rounds again.
A
Very awkward. Hopefully she didn't yell as much this year.
B
I don't know Jeremy Pope, but I love his blouse.
A
Yeah.
B
A couple of men. Justin Jefferson. Like, I really don't care about the men.
A
Yeah. We can skip ahead to Daisy Aller, Edgar Jones and Alexander McQueen.
B
Boring.
A
Boring, but beautiful.
B
Tessa Thompson and Valentino. Pretty,
A
pretty.
B
Same with Jasmine too, because there's just like, a lot of People wearing pretty dresses. Like, I don't know.
A
Looks really beautiful, though.
B
Oh, Louisa Jacobson. I kind of love what she's wearing. It's the first time I'm seeing it, and I don't know who she is.
A
Is she not. She looks like Gilded Age girl.
B
Oh, maybe the Gilded Age girls look so different in person. I'm just skipping to, like, a couple of more interesting people, and I don't know a lot of these people, and I also don't care. Ye. So let's go to Madonna. Madonna wore this, like, insane dress, hat, trumpet, with eight girls as she took up the whole carpet, and it. She literally recreated an entire painting.
A
Yeah. Which is cool.
B
Yeah, it was very cool. I. I enjoyed it. And I like when people come with, like, you know, staff, and, like, not
A
everyone can do it, and everyone, please don't do it. Like, we only have so much. A lot of time on the carpet, and I don't give a fuck. But if you're gonna do it, like. Like, this is a good way to do it. And I think Madonna's a good candidate. She's earned the right to take up our time. Absolutely.
B
Only a few people can.
A
Like Lady Gaga when she did it,
B
Rihanna when she did the big yellow fur jacket.
A
Yeah.
B
Let's go down to Tate McCray. People were, like, kind of gagged by Tate McCray. She looks insane. Her body is, as the kids say,
A
t. Yeah, she does look very beautiful.
B
She looks like the. The fluffer from Beauty and the Beast.
A
Yeah.
B
What's that?
A
The feather dust flu?
B
Fet plumette? Something like that.
A
Yeah.
B
I want to talk about Blake Lively next. She showed up. I had no. I never in my life thought she was gonna come. Like, I was shocked. And my first thought was, good for her. You just know she's in hell. She has to just keep doing stuff to move on, especially now. They released a statement. We'll talk about it. There's not going to trial. It's over. She had to go. And she is kind of like, met gala queen. Her dress is. Is sick.
A
Yeah. And it's like she's taking up a lot of space physically with good dress, as she usually does. It's not like she's coming in quietly now. She wasn't with Ryan, but I think this is one place that's really like, her place. I think her and Anna and the fashion board are still tight, so she's most welcome here. And she should go at. What is she. Unless she's going quietly into the night. Like, she needs to go and she
B
was like, literally on her best behavior because, you know, they film you going up the stairs and a lot of time you have handlers and it's a stressful thing. I think it's hot in there. Everyone's picking up your dress. You can't move till they pick up your dressed. She was like, oh, thank you so much. Yes, yes, yes. And then she was interviewing Lala and she was like, I actually felt bad for her. She was. Sorry she was being interviewed by Lala. I actually felt bad for her. She was just, like, really putting on. And I think it's probably nerve wracking to, like, be doing interviews again. But she was like, talking to Lala about her purse, which was Judith Lieber, and they wanted to, like, replicate art on it. So she actually had her kids do like, a bunch of watercolors and they made a purse of it, like, whatever. And Lala was like, that's great. That's great. Like, it was just. It was painful.
A
Listen, you gotta start somewhere.
B
You.
A
Exactly.
B
I'm glad she went, like, seriously, good for her.
A
And she looks very beautiful. And the dress is beautiful.
B
She slays.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's Versace, Russell Wilson and Sierra looking great. Like, he does, like, looks well. It's hard to be like a straight, manly guy and, like, put on a costume. But I think he looks great.
A
And I think it's even better when you're, like, with your wife who's gonna hold it down and then you just. You hit the accents, which I feel like he did. They look great. Especially together.
B
I'm scrolling. Just. We're in a cure about a lot of these people. I don't know.
A
Yeah, we had, you know, the obligatory models showing up with the fashion as they should designers.
B
Amelia Gray was there. I actually didn't see her until this roundup, so she didn't really make an impact. She wore a black dress.
A
The pelt speckhams weren't there.
B
Oh, huge missed opportunity. Grace Gummer. What's her name? Caroline Kennedy, from.
A
Oh, yes.
B
Sarah Pigeon, too. Wore such a bad look. Like, I feel like it was such a missed opportunity. She wore, like, literally something like. It's like an. It looks like it's from Revolve.
A
Like, like, to me, she's the exact type who got invited with a designer and is wearing what she's told. She does not hold. Really sweat, I guess.
B
But it's just a missed opportunity because she's one of the it girls of this year.
A
Yes. Oh, for sure. But, like, that's just. You know, she's happy to be there. I thought. I really like Carly Kloss's dress. Dress.
B
Oh, that's so funny. I was just about to say Carly Claus looking like a ball Zack.
A
I thought she looked so beautiful. I really liked how it moved. I really like the dress, actually. I like to.
B
Becky wore flats.
A
Queenie. Oh, wow. She looks beautiful.
B
Oh, my God. I so don't.
A
And the flats. I get it, you know, because she's the statue and they do wear flats.
B
Oh, Rachel Zegler.
A
She did the art. Yeah.
B
A lot of people were, like, freaking out that she wore something over her eyes. I just assumed it was like some reference. So I have no problem, like, with the weirdness. I. You have to watch a video of her posing and you can see in this picture that Vogue. It's a lot of. She looks insane.
A
Yeah, I saw it.
B
Sarah Paulson. We've already discussed loser sneeze. Oh. Also one of my worst dress. Ms. Cher. It's just weird.
A
I just feel like that can't be worse dressed, you know?
B
Yeah. I mean, I haven't gotten to her yet, but I feel like we're at the bottom of the list with, like, irrelevance, so we don't need to keep going. Is Heidi Klum. So she's definitely my worst dressed.
A
Yeah, I would. I would say so too. Like, she was literally, like, she actually dressed up like a statue and not in like a fashionable way, but like in a costume way. Yeah.
B
So I just feel like it's such a high class affair and like, the fact that she wore something that she could have worn to her, like, really tacky Halloween party is so bad. This should be like. I feel like if you dress poorly enough, you should be kicked out, like, from never. And like, to me, that's what Heidi Klum. So she is my worst dress. And I guess I'm staying with my original picks. Haley Bieber is my best dress. And it's. So some of the after party looks were sick. Haley and Kendall.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
I feel like my. Like, I'm so boring because it's always like Haley and Kendall and like, just like the boring, like, skinny, like girls, but like, I'm sorry. They slay every year.
A
Yeah, they do. Do you see Sabine Getty? I don't know who that is, but look up her dress.
B
Course I saw Sabine Getty with the ring and the.
A
The hand on the dress. I loved that dress. I. I wish that someone, like, more known wore it just so, like, everyone would be talking about it. Like, if Kendall Or Haley or Kylie wore that dress. Not that I would change either of their looks, but, like, then they would be for sure best dressed. I just really, really loved that dress. And people should look it up if you haven't seen it.
B
It's just funny. Like, Vogue then released a best dressed look. And I feel like half the people A list. Excuse me. And the people that I would have thought were gonna be on it are not. Like, it's so subjective. Do you know what I mean?
A
Yeah, it is.
B
And I. And I feel like a lot of people, like, you give guesses before, like, who you think is gonna be on the best dress list. And everybody. Like, I bet on, like, Poly Market. You could have predicted who. Like.
A
Yeah, no, I think they had predictions for.
B
Yeah.
A
Best dress at the Met Gala. Okay.
B
And so, like, here were the people, and I feel like Vogue, like, kind of goes rogue. Like Nicole Kidman. I wouldn't say best dressed. Doja Cat. I wouldn't say best dressed. Alex Konsani. A lot of people predicted on Poly Market and she was on the best dressed list. Same with Rihanna. But that's easy. That's easy. But then some people. It's hard because you don't even know if people are going to show up. Like, a lot of people on polymarket predicted that Lady Gaga and Travis Kelsey would be on the best dress list, and they weren't even there.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. That's fun.
A
That is really.
B
Oh, Chapel Roan. Also, people thought. But she was not there either.
A
Ms. Chap.
B
But Beyonce, Sabrina Carpenter. Oh, and Gwendolyn Christie. Did you see her look? Our queen.
A
Yes, the ocean.
B
She made Vogue's best dress list, and I was really surprised to see her there.
A
Yes. I thought she looked great and very on theme.
B
Kendall Jenner. Kim.
A
Kendall Jenner is always a safe choice. As for me is Kylie.
B
That's a fun way to, like, predict on Poly Market. Poly Market is available in the US App Store with culture markets launching really soon. So you'll be able to trade on all your favorite reality shows, celeb, gossip, and everything in between. Download the app now and use Code Toast to skip the waitlist and be the first in line when those markets go live.
A
Thanks, Turdy. Also, a couple more people at the bottom of this list, like Anne Hathaway, who was dressed like a vase.
B
I believe I saw people, like, living for this, and I just want to say I didn't like it.
A
I'm not living for this.
B
This. Okay.
A
And Margot Robbie was very, like, demure and low key. Yeah.
B
I Feel the way about her as I do. Like, like, she goes to a lot of, like Nicole Kidman. She goes to a lot of Oscars. Like, this just looks like an Oscars dress. It's beautiful.
A
Yeah. Yeah, it's beautiful and it's safe and nice and she didn't like, reinvent the wheel, but she's not getting in any trouble.
B
No. Which is good, I guess.
A
Yeah. I think my best dress was Kylie, as it always. Really? Yeah. I loved her. I thought she looked beautiful. Of course I love Kendall. I think Kylie's was a bit more ornate.
B
Oh, you know who we didn't talk about who looked at Gorgin? Zoe Kravitz didn't show up with Harry and her left hand was like, in her pocket.
A
She looked Gorgin, but she always looks worshine. And I also felt like her dress. I haven't seen the reference associated, so I don't really know, but like, it just felt like it's something you could wear like any year, really. But I guess it was a romper. The same goes for Kendall and Kylie and Janelle Monae.
B
She was on Vogue's best dressed list and she looked sick.
A
She always looks, like, amazing and like, she's so fashion somewhere else and does.
B
But yes. Noticeably absent. No Instagrammers, no tick tockers. No podcasters.
A
No podcasters.
B
I thought that maybe Travis would be there because him and Jason. Because I was thinking like the ins. The Bezos connection. They have a huge podcast network and they have a lot of really big shows. Like the smartless guys are there. New heights is there. So I thought maybe we would get like some podcast talent. But no, they really gate kept the Internet folk away. They kept them away.
A
Yeah. Which I'm fine with. Just keep the bar like high for all talent across.
B
Yeah. And like, I like her, but like Cami Mendez, like, how do you like how. You know what I mean? Like, this is not.
A
She was there again.
B
Yeah. Who like, represents the year, I feel. But maybe that's not what it is.
A
No. But also I feel like she earned her stripes to get invited for a couple years when River Riverdale was like,
B
they were all there.
A
And now she's a fashion girl. I'm sure the designers like, like dressing her and she's just like a SAF choice.
B
Yeah, I guess.
A
I thought Joey King also looked amazing.
B
Oh, me too. I like Joey King and I thought Jake Shane was going to be there and he wasn't.
A
Yeah. But no, no Digital talent zero.
B
I thought that was. That's Like, a little bit of a miss. I feel like they should have had, like, two people. I feel like they either do so many. Like, let the floodgates in with all the YouTubers or none. Like, how about three?
A
Yeah. Also, car Delevingne was a host. I thought she looked really beautiful.
B
Yeah. So Ashley Graham, Car Deleving, and Lala Anthony hosted the live stream, and it was mostly Lala holding it down. And thank God for that because she is so good at her job. And Minji and Amanda Seafried. Yeah.
A
I love Amanda Sey Freed stress. But of course I do, because it's pink.
B
Yeah.
A
And I actually really like her look even though she's mingy.
B
Right.
A
Okay, so that's your Met gala recap. Fun night. Hope everyone had fun. Hope some people fell in love. Otherwise, what are you guys all doing there? Like, looking beautiful and hanging out?
B
It's so true. Bring. Bring your boyfriends.
A
Bring your boyfriends. I also, like, as we're looking at this list, I'm not seeing, like, a lot of, like, eligible bachelors. I don't really know these guys. But, like, maybe Jeff had some friends or, like, some C suite level executives.
B
And there's a lot of attendees who don't get photographed. They just go in the regular entrance. You know, socialites, wealthy people who are not famous donors, people on the board. So, yeah, I think that you could find a businessman bow if you tried.
A
And so I think one of them hopefully, like, took a shining to Sabrina, and maybe she's going out on a date this week with someone with a billionaire. Yeah. Yeah. So jolly good show. And all in all, like, my sentiment is, like, everyone looked really beautiful. This was a beautiful night. Like, not. Not even clown. Like, whereas usually it's like, it's giving capital Hunger Games.
B
No. And some themes people, like, just really don't know what to do with themselves. This was, like, a kind of a
A
boring theme, but that, like, inspired, beautiful look. Books.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
All in all, I had a good time.
A
Yeah. Okay, our next story, which is like, another big story from today, is that Blake Lively and just Justin Baldoni have settled their epic it ends with us lawsuit. So yesterday, after a year and a half of bitter feuding in court in the press, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have resolved their legal differences. Two weeks ahead of a federal trial. Lively had accused Baldoni of sexual harassment on set of their 2024 film It Ends with Us. She also alleged that when she raised complaints about it, he and his army of publicists engage in a digital smear campaign to retaliate. In a carefully crafted joint statement released on Monday, the parties expressed their feelings about moving on. Quote, the end product. The movie is a source of pride to all of us who work to bring it to life. Raising awareness and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors and all survivors is a goal that we stand behind. We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognized concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserve to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplace to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.
B
So I think this is great. I'm like a little upset that after all this, like we're not even getting a trial. But I don't. It's giving. We're both wrong. If somebody has a huge case, like you're not settling, especially if you feel like you really want to get your name, name cleared and like vindicated. So it's, it's giving like nobody had a leg to stand on, I guess.
A
But also sometimes when you settle, like someone does get paid and does get what they're looking for.
B
Well, the details of the settlement are not made public. I would like to know.
A
Yeah, so we don't know that because that's also winds up being like some sort of admission in some cases. In other cases it's like, just go away. I will literally pay you to go away.
B
Yes. And I think some celebrities, like really feel vehemently like against doing that because it does indicate at least, like I, I think for me, like if you're paying someone to be quiet, it's because you did something.
A
Yeah. Not always depends on the amount you paid is. But when we won't know.
B
Even though technically it wasn't necessarily Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni settling. It was Blake Lively and his company because as of a couple of weeks ago, the charges or whatever against him were dropped by the judge.
A
Yeah.
B
So I, I actually think she probably had a bit of a case just like HR wise with the company. And so maybe they settled for that reason.
A
Yeah. But I also think the longer this drags on, it's a, it's not good for either everyone. It's not getting better for either of them. And it's not going to get by there for either of them. They should have done this one year ago, like I said.
B
Yeah.
A
And now they can start to pick up the pieces. You know, like I said, I literally said, like they're ruining each Other, no one's gonna come out smelling like roses here.
B
I know. And hopefully Justin Baldoni had the foresight to see that, like, the only place for him to go is down. Like, people are loving him, they're believing him, but, like, the public opinion is so finicky, and people just get, like, so group think, like, so you know what? Making it go away is wise for all them because it can't get any worse for, like, Lively.
A
Yeah. And I do think they're both a little bit right and a little bit wrong. And on some points point to Blake and on some points point to Justin.
B
I agree. The more the issue I. I really do have is, like, with how people very so. So very quickly and easily, like, we're, like, swayed into hating Blake Lively and how she literally overnight became the most hated woman in America.
A
Yeah.
B
And you know me, I'm, like, always going to defend my fellow woman.
A
So how do you feel about, like, this settlement, putting it to bed? Like, what is.
B
Oh, I feel good. I hate having an unpopular opinion. Like, I keep getting asked about it, and it's just, like, sending more hate my way. So I'm glad that I never have to share my unpopular opinion, and I'm glad. I'm sure people are glad that they never have to hear it.
A
Yeah. And also, we can all sort of, like, agree to disagree. No one's right. No one's wrong. The people who were, like, writing for Justin or writing for Blake, like, I. I don't know where we channel all that energy now, because I do still feel like the energy exists and we just all. It does move on. But, yeah, this is, like, a no win situation, and no one won.
B
No. 0. And I feel the most interesting part is, like, I'm very curious to see how Blake Lively, if Blake live in it. I think based on last night, she will, like, return to public light life and how her Q score will either, you know, decrease or increase. Justin Baldoni, like, wasn't that big of a star before, and if anything, he's probably come out on the other side, like, more famous and maybe a little bit more well liked by his fans. Like, you know, they're a zealous. Yeah. I am really curious of how she comes back from this, if at all. People really just hate her.
A
I feel like for her, it will come down to whether or not she has, like, like, good friends in this industry who will take up for her and put her in movies and cast her and stuff and give her deals or whatever, because she can go to any event she wants. And, you know, she can post on Instagram as much as she wants. Like, if she's gonna be in the next Star wars, you're gonna see Star Wars.
B
Yeah. But the thing is, she never really was. She wasn't, like, a major actress. She's like Gossip Girl.
A
I know.
B
And she's done, like, some of the worst movies.
A
Now she's gonna, like, have to get back to work in a mini show.
B
She has to be in Transformers.
A
Yeah.
B
She needs to be, like, a major marvel. Yeah. I do think that her and Ryan have deep roots in the industry and people like him. I think that's what got her into trouble. Never bringing Hugh Jackman to the. To the meeting. Taylor Swift. That, like, to me, that's just. That's an issue. The Taylor thing, it doesn't. It really does not help her case.
A
What if Taylor came to you and said, Claudia, like, she's like, you have to get off team to, like, great.
B
Where do I sign up? Do you think I give a about these people?
A
Do you think Taylor came to me?
B
Yeah.
A
Right.
B
No, Taylor's coming to you. Where. Where am I? Where's this happening? Like, I. I don't really care. I don't know these people at all. Like, this means nothing to me.
A
I have your team Taylor more than your team Blake.
B
Yeah, of course. And so, like, I do. I just, like, I genuinely have empathy for Blake. Like, to become the most hated woman in America because, like, you felt that you were sexually harassed, like, that's insane. You know, but, like, the losing your best friend, like, what. What, like, what did you do to Taylor? Like, seriously, that. That's. That's the most confounding part.
A
And what if it's really. Even though I don't believe that this is otherwise, Taylor Swift's really, like, the worst person ever. If it's really that, like, her friend was, you know, in all this drama, and she didn't want to be. Interrupt her.
B
Like, I just don't think that's the case, especially because there's, like, depositions and stuff. Like, Taylor is, like, slightly involved, like, that meeting. So there's more there than just, oh, I don't want to be friends with you. And Taylor literally could never be that person because Blake and Ryan were, like, one of the very few from, like, that girl gang era, and then she got canceled. Reputation. One of the remaining few. Like, a lot of people forget who that she used to be friends with. Zendaya, like, people she never speaks to again. So they are ride or die.
A
Yeah. And it's crazy. I can't think about it too hard.
B
Yeah. But it's crazy because when, like, Taylor and her were best friends, like, I didn't really like Blake, so I was like, can she have, like, a better friend? And now, like, I kind of like Blake.
A
You should.
B
And I'm like, like, yeah. Wouldn't it be great if they were friends like my two girls?
A
But don't you think it's weird that Taylor's lost, like, at least two, like, best friends this year? Kelly and Blake.
B
Kelly's different. I'm sorry. Like, Kelly and her were so fast, so furious. They were friends for, like, literally. Yes. Less than a year. That's not the same as Blake.
A
No. You told me they were friends for a long time.
B
Did I?
A
Yeah. Because I remember thinking they or their friendship started from that video with Miles. I thought that was. Yeah, but you said. No, they were friends for. I did, Yeah. I think.
B
When did I say that?
A
When we were talking about it.
B
But that's not what I think, so why would I say that? I don't know. Were they? No,
A
I thought that's when it started.
B
I don't think so. No. That remains one of the great mysteries of my life.
A
Yeah.
B
And yeah. No, but Taylor's. I think at a certain level, like, it's just hard to keep friends, to be honest. Like, you are so famous and so rich and, like, so culturally impactful that, like, it's not like, you know, breeding grounds for long term female friendships. There's a lot of jealousy, you know, disloyalty, betrayal. I don't know. I don't know.
A
I understand. So are you.
B
It sounds like you're sort of alluding to Taylor being the problem.
A
I have to leave space for it. I'm not saying that, but I have to, like, I have to consider it. I have to consider it. But I'm not.
B
Of course you have to. Okay.
A
Are you ready for our next story?
B
If it's our next story that's brought to you by Dolex.
A

A
Thank you. Turt to be. Oh, I'm wearing the Got To Be Wax stick right now.
B
Oh, good.
A
Yeah. In this little updo that I have going on also, I'm cracking up because look at the front page of the Daily Mail right now. Just go to dailymail.com.
B
what is it about? Lauren Sanchez Bezos? No, it's dailymail.com. is it me?
A
No, no, no, no. It's about Blake Lively snapping at the red carpet helpers.
B
Oh, Blake Lively snaps at Met Gala Red carpet helpers in wild diva moment after settling legal battle. She really didn't like. She's just telling people how to use her, how to, like, touch her dress.
A
Yeah, but that's crazy. That's literally the fun page of the world news. Not even, like, entertainment.
B
That's like, she is so hated.
A
I'm sorry.
B
I feel bad for her. Like, that's. People don't understand. Like, I'm an empath and I'm a woman who supports other women. And, like, so, yeah, I feel bad for Blake Lively. And so she has my support.
A
And you just know, even if she's the biggest bitch on the planet, she wasn't about to be a bitch last night publicly, right after she buries. And she's been in this legal drama for a year and a half. Like, nothing out of her mouth. You weren't going to catch her in a bitchy moment. So the fact that they're trying to make something of that is really infuriating for her. When she was on the best behavior.
B
Absolutely.
A
Our next story is an article that came out in Vulture, the masterminds of reality tv. So Vulture has put together a roundup. He gets his dick.
B
It's like a list.
A
The Roundup. A list of the 30 most powerful people in reality TV in 2026.
B
And I want to talk about this for two reasons. Because one I think the list is deeply flawed. And two, there's drama with Nick from Love Island. So let's talk about it.
A
Okay, so the list includes 30 stars, executives, hosts, podcasters, and franchises that are shaping the future of television's most tantalizing genre. So here is.
B
And I just think it's a crazy list. Sorry, I keep cutting off.
A
You go, no, I'm gonna read to you the list.
B
And I just want to say the list is, I think, poorly done because, like, there's so many randoms on there. And then I'm, like, surprised that somebody like Andy Cohen would sit for this while he's on a list with, like, Amaya Papaya. It makes no sense.
A
I know. So Amaya and Nick from this season of Love island were both on the
B
list, and I just think that, like, list. I think that those are both, like, poor choices. This is a show that aired a year ago, and their cultural impact is not really relevant anymore. And, like, they're not shaping for what this list said, what you just described. They're not shaping the reality, the future of reality tv.
A
No, they're not. And pick one person from this season of Love island, if you must. I would pick Alandria. It's possible that she didn't know this list was gonna deal and turned it down, but I certainly would not pick Nick, who's just riding her coattails. And I would not pick Amaya, who did not mastermind anything. She just sort of accidentally fell into being America's heroic because, like, Ace was mean to her once and everybody hated everyone else. Like, she did not mastermind.
B
No, but, like, the show is over. Like, no, I couldn't remember any of these people's names. They're on this Turn beyond the Villa show. Like, it's not. But what's interesting is that it's clear that whoever wrote the article about Nick is a nickelandria truther. And I just want to say I love her because the article about them about Nick calls him just, like, a strategic. Basically using a lot of nice words to call him, like, a moocher. Reference the fact that they were coupled up for a week and decided that they have no chemistry and they don't like each other, so they're in this fake relationship, this business partnership. Yeah. Basically saying riding her coattails. Nick then, like, tweeted, like, you know, you flew me out. Like, you know, shoot me half naked and write these mean things about me.
A
He, like, tweeted about it in.
B
Oh, I don't know. But I just want to say Slay to the person who wrote it. Like, finally, the Nickelandria truthers will be heard.
A
I just want to say, as much as I agree with their assessment that he pivoted from his connection to, you know, go with what the fandom was feeling, I actually felt like they were trying to give him credit as a mastermind, as a strategic person. Yeah, as someone. Because like, the. The intro of the article is like, these people, you know, know how to move the show forward and they're going to keep you engaged and blah, blah, blah. So they were actually like, I think just trying to drill home their point. Point that he's a mastermind of reality television, not that he's a user.
B
Correct.
A
So I. He. He should be insulted, like, for a different reason, but not actually they were trying to give him, like, some credit of him being smart.
B
Whatever.
A
Here's who else is on the list. We have Dressy Jesse Draper from Secret Lives and Mormon Wives.
B
I'll. I agree.
A
I agree. Because even if. I mean, it doesn't age like great after the voice note right now, but
B
like, she is still moving reality TV forward. What they're doing on that show is.
A
Is if even take the voice note at its worst. Like, that actually makes her even more of a mastermind. Right? Yeah.
B
No, no. Her place on the list is not questions.
A
This list, like, really didn't have any judgment, like, if you're the worst person on your show. Like, no, it was really meant to be, like, the people who are keeping you, like, hooked on reality tv.
B
So Jesse Draper. Yes.
A
We had Lindsay Hubbard from Summer House.
B
Yes.
A
Was Sierra on the list?
B
No.
A
Ariana Maddox is on the list as a host.
B
And no, I think that's wrong. Like, maybe at one point, but sorry, this is not a person who was ever really moved reality TV forward. She's just like fell into this situation.
A
But I do think that they could have used her as like a symbol of Love island and not had the other two. But to dedicate three spots to Love island when it's like not even on the air right now and the cast changes every season.
B
Right. And I heard that somebody else is hosting this season. I don't know if that's true.
A
Oh, I heard she's hosting. Oh, reigns to be seen. Nick Vile showed up for the podcasters. Perfect.
B
If you're gonna have one podcaster for reality tv. That feels fair.
A
It does feel fair. It could have also been Alex Cooper because she does often reality now. Like, she does some reality. Nick does really like all reality. All, you know they watch everything.
B
I. I approve.
A
We have Whitney Carson from Dancing with the Stars approved. We have Nene Leakes. Approved.
B
Even though she hasn't been on reality TV for a while, her legacy remains unchecked.
A
It's true.
B
And she is returning. And it was a big deal.
A
Yes. But it does feel like a couple years late. I cannot get into the article because I'm not subscribing to Vulture, but we also have Tiffany Pollard.
B
Yeah, same thing as Nene. Like, yes, her impact is undeniable, but a little overdue.
A
Yeah. And it's not.
B
They.
A
This is like the 2026 year. So they could have just been like, like, you know, reality star hall of fame. That would have been more accurate.
B
Kathy Hilton also, like, love her, but I don't think she's moving reality TV
A
into another accidental queen of reality tv. She's not masterminding. Alan Cummings was on as.
B
Yes.
A
And he is a mastermind.
B
Andy Cohen, obviously a mastermind. Michelle Visage. I know you don't know who that is, but she's like one of the longtime.
A
From Drag Race.
B
RuPaul's Drag Race, and she's honestly legendary. That's a good one.
A
But so not everyone sat for the. This photo shoot because I'm not seeing, like, these pics of, like, Kathy Hilton.
B
No, they're all have their own covers. So I'm going through the covers on Instagram. On one cover now, they have Taylor Hale, Ezra Sosa, and Parvati Shallow.
A
Ezra Sosa.
B
Ezra is from Dancing with the Stars. So there's two Dancing with the Stars people.
A
But, like, I didn't feel like he was like, the. The diamond of the season.
B
Parvati Shallow is from Survivor.
A
We also have Kristen from Top Chef and Traders. She's the host of Top Chef. So, like, fine.
B
And Brooks Marks, question mark.
A
Oh, right. Brooks Marks.
B
Brooks question list is turn.
A
Yeah, I like the idea.
B
So they have Riley Burris, who's Candy Burris's daughter. And on Next Gen, I think, also with Brooke. So Next Gen is a show that literally has three viewers and they have two people on this list list.
A
The list is flawed. The premise is good.
B
Ryan Sirhan. I'll. I agree.
A
Yep.
B
Stacy Rush, who is from Real House as a Potomac, and Kristen from Top Chef are on one. Then Whitney, Carson and Amaya. Like, I don't understand Amaya. Oh, that's it. Okay. Yeah. Poorly done. I honestly, I give it a three out of ten.
A
Yeah. But they were trying something.
B
How? Brooks Marks and Andy Cohen are on the same list. Like, I Just, just. I don't get it.
A
No, me neither. And they were really toggling between like hall of fame and this year.
B
They're confused. Yeah, bad list. Try again.
A
Try again next year. But they did like sexy cover shoots and. Yeah, no, it could have been great.
B
There are some legendary.
A
There was budget.
B
Absolutely.
A
Yeah. Our next story. A trend that's happening. Pussycat Dolls are canceling their reunion tour in North America after taking an honest look at week ticket sales. So a couple of people like canceled and postponed tours this week, posting alone. Post Malone postpone by three weeks. And because he says he's like working on his new music, just plan better.
B
I believe that. Yeah, I believe that though because it's clear when somebody's canceling for port to ticket sales or not. And postcare towels are obviously plant canceling because of poor ticket sales. I don't know who they thought. There is no, like fandom.
A
No, there's not. And like the people who are like, like me, like we're at home, like, we're not just like taking in a concert, like for the fun of it right now, like, it's got to.
B
Meghan Trainor, Port ticket sales. I do think that like with outside like streaming numbers, Tick Tock, I think it leads a lot of people to thinking that they have more fans than they do and it can be, I. I imagine like, kind of confusing to book a tour these days because you could have like so many followers on Tick Tock, so many streams, and sometimes it just doesn't translate. Yeah, there's not like a rule, there's not an algorithm to follow that's going to help you figure out how many people are going to show up. Up.
A
Yeah, it's true. So Cat Dolls were the latest to cancel their tour. I didn't even know that this was happening.
B
Honestly, I did because. Did you see the viral video of Nicole Scherzinger?
A
No.
B
Oh my God, you will love this. So she was asked a question. It was kind of a pointed question. I forget exactly what it was. On like a good morning type of. Oh, here, listen. They asked her a question and she actually could not answer after they found out that you guys were coming back as a trio, not as the. Oh yeah, the other girls aren't coming back. How did you arrive at that? How did you arrive at that decision? Well, I mean, listen, we are just. We are like, we are so as women today.
A
I mean, it has been and never changed.
B
And the other girl chops it. How fucking funny is that? Because there is drama with the other
A
girls, it's just like really cursed. And Cole Scherzinger is like so successful right now in like very high brow fields. Like what is she doing?
B
I know. I think maybe she thought it would be like a cash grab and then it had completely.
A
You just need to like let sleeping cats dolls lie.
B
Absolutely.
A
So those are the stories. I love that those are the stories. Happy met Tuesday. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have like more afterparty stories. Find out if like Sabrina fell in love.
