Good morning, girlies. It's the Toast. It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host. It's your favorite show, the best five
B
things you need to know. We'll start your day off.
A
Swirly.
B
It's the Toast.
A
They sound amazing.
B
Welcome back to the Toast. And just like that, I'm back to life, loving Jerd again. Hey, Jert, how you dirt?
A
I'm d. Good. Thank you for asking. Coer, what's your truth?
B
My truth is that this morning, I'm feeling so loved.
A
Really? What's the cause of this love?
B
My sister, Ms. Foley. Me, I'm still feeling, like, so deeply moved that you bought me that mahjong set from Walmart, so I just want to share that. Jackie and I were talking yesterday on the podcast about how, like, this viral set of mahjong tiles from Walmart, like, is selling out everywhere. I was gonna drive to Teterboro tomorrow to go get it. There was one left at the Walmart in Teterboro. 79. You get a set of tiles, four racks, a mat, and the cutest darn bag I've ever seen.
A
This mahjong bag I've ever seen. I was really doing it for that. You guys were here for the combo yesterday where we both talked about, like, our interest in this set.
B
So, of course, like, where there's a will, there's a way. I got a set. I got a swirly over in Maryland, who purchased it for me, and it's on its way via UPS, thanks to AJ's mom. Okay, forgetting that for me. But unbeknownst to me, my sweet sister was thinking about me. I could cry. It's so. I'm obviously in, like, a luteal phase. Like, it's so sweet.
A
I'm so.
B
I'm overcome.
A
I had, like, a big plan. I literally hid you from my Instagram story yesterday because I posted that I got the set, and. And then I was going to tell the world, and I got Claudia in two, and I'm going to surprise her on the toast, but I knew someone would fucking spoil it for me. I just didn't want you to see that I got the set yet. And then I was going to overnight the set to you and then have your production.
B
Look how much thought she put in.
A
Like, she gifted to you live on the show. Gifted to you live show much.
B
I would have. And I just want to let you know I'm so mad, because I would have. Literally, I would have started crying. Like, I. To be so thought of. Like, I can't. And like, now we have one extra set that's so, so great. Who should we give it to?
A
I know, maybe Olivia, but like, she already has like a party set for Mo. My mahjong that I don't even think she's ever used because we always play with ours. Like we always set it up. So I would give it to her, but I think it would just sit there. So I'll find a worthy giveaway. Giveaway.
B
Giveaway alert. So, yeah, I'm just feeling loved. Hbo.
A
Oh, that's so sweet. Feeling loved as well. Actually, today's a big day because it's Max's six month day.
B
Oh my God, it's a major.
A
I know. People do like half a cake. You know, if it's like, we did it, it's giving first child.
B
Yeah, well, my in law said for me it was actually really cute. They had a big sign that said six months of food.
A
Maybe we should do that. I was planning on like cooking tonight anyway. Like, making hamburgers and also, like making some babies.
B
You gotta have the photo shoot in the. Oh, my God. What's the word? High chair. Jesus. Why would it have a piece of cake? I don't know. Like, why couldn't I think of the word high chair? I say it 50 times a day.
A
Why are you yelling at yourself?
B
Because I was frustrated. I frustrated and look, it worked.
A
You're mad at yourself.
B
Yeah, well, speaking of milestones, I saw something on Tick Tock yesterday that made me want to kill myself.
A
Okay, so I guess we're done talking about Max's six month day.
B
No, but you'll. You'll see it. Ready? Because I guess someone, obviously, my Tick Tock must know what stage of motherhood I'm in.
A
Of course they do.
B
They're targeting me with content. And so this girl's going through the same thing and she said, how do I. How do I explain to my heart that my positive pregnancy test from 2024 is turning one in 2026?
A
Like on myself is turning one. Yeah, from 2024.
B
The test was in 2010 months.
A
My. Oh, you're okay. I thought you meant the stick. Because actually the stick is almost two.
B
Sure, but the stick is not a person.
A
No, but I was like, okay, that
B
was confusing the stick, isn't it? Was it? You're just like, refusing to find meaning in my quote.
A
No, no, I was sad and I thought that was so cute. How do I tell my heart? Like, I was ready.
B
It is cute. You're just like, not smart enough to understand. That's okay.
A
Sorry for your muronic tick tock content that I didn't get.
B
Well, you just don't get it. What's that from? Oh, Carrie. When her in that second movie when her and Big start, like, wanting to spend the weekends apart and Charlotte's like, well, that's not a marriage. And she's like, we just don't get it. Yeah, no, we do. Your marriage is falling apart. No, no, we get it.
A
Like, Charlotte's still married, but okay, we get it. She gets it.
B
And then you go and kiss Aiden. You just don't get it.
A
You just don't get it. Yeah. So big day. Big day. Here. I think maybe I will do half a cake. The boys would be thrilled to have another slice of cake after the.
B
I love your cake, Max.
A
Love your cake, Max. Max.
B
I celebrated the sachi last night.
A
You did? How was her cake, Satch?
B
Oh, it was delicious. Actually. We went to the Polar Bar. Yeah, that's right. My third time this month. And we, of course, had to indulge in desserts. And so we got the caramel sundae and a warm brownie with ice cream with a little candle, and it was just delicious. I love getting dessert at restaurants.
A
Yeah, it is nice.
B
It's an underrated part of the experience.
A
Yeah. How was Ms. Margot?
B
Miss Margot, you know, no words. Literally no words. I'm speechless. She was great. Any excuse to go out. She was celebrating her birthday. We were cracking jokes. She loved my gift.
A
Oh, she did you tell everyone what you got her?
B
Yeah, so actually I've never seen anyone have it before, but it's like a cross body phone case from Prada that, like, you snap your phone into, but it's not like a case. It's, you know, if you've ever connected your phone to like a tripod, it's like a little holder and it has the Prada logo on the back. And you can just basically wear just your phone. Crossbody was sick. It's very cool, girl. I feel like she probably wanted it, like, for Coachella or stage coach.
A
She would have enjoyed it for that next year.
B
There's always next year.
A
And she's always had a concert or something. She'll find a way to wear it.
B
Exactly.
A
Yeah. She loved my present too. The swimsuits. And she didn't get those ones for herself, so she was just like, she's gonna keep all of them parje. As she should.
B
Today feels like a very relaxed day. I feel like we've had like the Met gala. We've had TV recaps We've had your toasters. I didn't watch anything last night. Like, there was nothing on. We're just like chilling.
A
Yeah, we're chilling. I. I got a massage last night as like a. Oh yeah, my pre Mother's Day. My Mother's Day gift. A little early and. And I need to stop getting massages. They are just not for me. At this stage in my life, I cannot relax. I am so high strung. And I'm just laying there, like, thinking of all the things I could be doing. And it's so. It's just. And it's just a shame because last time we got a massage was our anniversary. We went to a five star spa in the middle of the day. And so I was like, what am I doing here in the middle of the day? I have meetings. If I could get these 30 minutes back, I'd be. I wouldn't have to speed while I'm driving. Like, I feel that. So I was like not getting massage in the middle of the day again. I'm like, you know what sounds good? A massage at the end of the day after bedtime, when my bones are weary after bedtime. And then I slide into my bed. So that's what I did last night. And I still just couldn't enjoy it.
B
And I feel like I go through eras where I just can't lay there. I'm not like a big massage person. My husband would get a massage on the side of the road. Like he does not care. He can relax unaffected. No, I'm with you. There's so much on my mind. Like, it becomes unrelaxing. And then you're just like counting down the minutes. Yeah.
A
And then it's like, how do I navigate the situation? Should I want to get up early?
B
Oh, you can't get up early. Are you crazy?
A
I'm gonna get up early sort of gal.
B
That's crazy.
A
Thank you so much.
B
Thank you. That's crazy. No, you can't do that. You have to just take it.
A
So please remind me next time I book a massage that I don't actually want a massage.
B
I just feel like there are times in your life where you'll be getting massages and you're just not in one right now.
A
Yeah, no, I'm not. So now I know. I've tried it ways. Like, no, we're gonna be on hold. Which is sad because I do love the idea of a massage. But, like, I'm just like, oh, my gosh. I. I could have been editing the redheads.
B
Yeah. A massage is like, a young person and an old person thing. Like, not in between. And we're. We're in the middle right now.
A
Yeah. You would think, though, like a young mother of three. Physical. Like, at the end of the day, she just wants her bones rubbed. Like. No, she just wants to sit and scroll.
B
Absolutely.
A
And literally answer some emails.
B
Sidd's girl.
A
Yeah. So we tried.
B
All right. There's always next year.
A
Yeah. But don't let me.
B
I'll make sure.
A
Give me, like, an hour. I need an hour blocked of just, like, in a. Being alone in, like, a business center.
B
All right, I'll get you a gift card to the local business center. How does that sound?
A
Yeah, Office Max, literally.
B
No, you need, like, a membership to, like, one of those co. Working spaces.
A
Office Max.
B
Office Max. Max.
A
She.
B
Well, happy birthday to Max.
A
Yeah, it can't be a membership to we work.
B
Yeah. Or like, there are a couple of them in the city. Like, Noya House. I don't know if it still exists, but it was like. Yeah, it was for, like, young professionals to get together. The wing. Okay, I'll get you a membership to the wing. The women's only membership.
A
That's where.
B
Working space.
A
That's what I mean. A space where I can work for an hour. Love that uninterrupted.
B
Yep.
A
Beautiful. Really, really romantic gift.
B
Well, I'm sorry that it didn't work out in the way that you had hoped, but there's always next year.
A
Yeah. When do you leave for your big trip tomorrow? I was talking yesterday. He did get you a present.
B
Of course. And I assume that it's to my standards. I'm not even concerned.
A
Forget what it. If he told me what it was, I forgot. I feel like he might have skipped right over it and said. I said, did you get her something? And he said, yeah, this is. I think this is what he said. He said, yeah, he did get your present, but then he said, and we're taking a trip. And then I started, like, talking more about the trip, so I never asked what you got.
B
Okay, that doesn't like.
A
I know. I'm trying to think.
B
It doesn't sound. No, no, no, no, no. You know what? I'm going.
A
No, no. We were worried he wasn't going to get you something. And the thing about.
B
We were. I was never concerned about that.
A
The thing about Lish is that, like, he actually always overdoes it. You actually.
B
That's what I'm telling you. I'm not concerned.
A
No, but you said on the show, like, he better get you like a. You're worried that he doesn't realize that this is such a milestone. Yeah.
B
Well, I've been really hyping up the trip and how excited I am. So, like, hopefully it's just been taking my subtle hints. I really am so excited. But, like, I've never traveled with a child before. Like, my checklist is overwhelming. Like. Like, I gotta bring everything, you know?
A
Oh, it's a hotel, like kid friendly, where they have cribs and. And tings.
B
I'm not sure.
A
They probably have a crib. You don't have to bring it back.
B
No, no, no. I'm not bringing it back and play. I feel like even, like they have cribs at like a Motel 6. It's like a basic human, right?
A
Yeah. Like, it's like the Bible in the drawer.
B
I don't feel like I even have to ask. Yeah, it's like the Bible in the drawer. Exactly. It's like a bar of soap.
A
Are you bringing Romeo?
B
Jackie, be for real. Are you serious?
A
I feel like that's the sort of trip like, that you bring your dog on.
B
That's the sort of trip maybe you bring for sure.
A
A little staycation.
B
I saw a. The funniest Tick tock. It was like postpartum. It was a picture of her, like, with her stroller pushing her baby and her dog on the leash. And she was like, postpartum mamas, do you ever just let go of the leash? And the comments were like, this makes me so sad. Like, girls grow up.
A
At least she took the dog on.
B
Crazy comments.
A
At least she took the dog on a walk.
B
It's more than I can say with the baby.
A
That's ambitious.
B
Ben does it all the time. It makes me so nervous.
A
Bruno, you can't do this. But like, Bruno will go under the stroller in the, like, carriage.
B
That's cute.
A
Yeah, really cute. He was very happy there.
B
Yeah. If Romeo would chill, I would let him come in the basket. Maybe then he could be invited on trips to the Cape.
A
Trips to the Cape. Did you see Olivia Culpo's? It's her dog's birthday and she, Olivia
B
Cobo and I are just like, on different journeys. And what's crazy is that, like, she's like one of my fellow mamas, like her Lauren, Elena. We gave birth in like the same month or two. So I really relate to her content. And I'm always curious to see what she's up to and her dog content. Like, I genuinely cannot relate.
A
She did like a whole Tribute for Oliver Sprinkle's birthday. They made him a six pound tomahawk steak for his birthday. Could you imagine?
B
I can't imagine caring that much. No, no.
A
To make a steak for the dog,
B
to make a carousel, like, that's a lot of work.
A
Oh, no, it's in her stories. I don't know if she did carousel too, but it was in her stories. It was actually really sweet. Well, I'm happy for Oliver Sprinkles.
B
Maybe. Is. Is she open? Is she taking other fosters?
A
Like, would be a loving home for Romeo.
B
I joke. Actually, a couple of days ago, we started to let Romeo sleep in our bed. That's been quite nice, actually. I feel like we're. I really want. There is a yearning, like there's a desire.
A
Want to have a dog?
B
No, no. I want to love the dog that I have.
A
Okay.
B
The practical application of policy is making it difficult, but I'm really like. I would like to just, like, love Romeo. I loved having a dog. I loved being a dog lover. Like, I don't want to be this curmudgeony old lady who hates her dog, but, like, I hate my dog.
A
I feel like sleeping in bed together helps.
B
Yes. No. And he was being really cute. He came up on my pillow like, it's.
A
Oh, that's so cute. Like, that's hot. That's Bruno and I special time.
B
Yeah. Like, we'll get there. We'll get there. Like, there is a desire.
A
Yeah, okay. You will get there. And also, once you see, like, Ruby.
B
Of course. Of course.
A
Do they. Do they know each other?
B
Yeah, of course. Romeo. Stop. Romeo, that's literally me all the time.
A
Ruby thinks his name is Romeo.
B
Stop. Like, because you know what? When we were in Florida for so long, I really relaxed because, you know, like, Romeo was walking on the beach. His feet weren't.
A
Yeah.
B
He walks out in the streets. I'm like, get off the mat. Get off the mat.
A
Get off.
B
It's disgusting. Get off.
A
No, no, you're not wrong for that.
B
I never am.
A
It's true.
B
I played mahjong yesterday for so long. Like, we were playing. We play all, like, the group that I play with, we play during nap time. So it's really perfect. Like, it's two hours. We all. But, like, the two hours just, like, weren't enough. So everybody, like, brought their kids over to the mahjong room and it was party. We played for, like four hours.
A
Fun.
B
It was.
A
Did you win?
B
I did not. Like, it wasn't a landscape.
A
It wasn't incessant.
B
Everybody won a bunch. We probably played like 10 games and I won three.
A
Okay, that's good.
B
Yes. I just didn't want to embarrass myself.
A
No, no, it was. It was a good showing.
B
Yeah, absolutely.
A
Okay.
B
What else can I tell you?
A
Well, I guess we could get into the stories if we must.
B
Ugh.
A
I know. Actually, we have like, pretty good stories today.
B
All right, fine.
A

So pregnancy pulls really heavily from your nutrient reserves, and a lot of women actually start pregnancy already low without realizing it. That's why the prenatals that you take are so important. And parallel is such a great option whether you're in the conception stage, whether you have conceived, or actually. When I was like going to the doctor before I got pregnant, she actually recommended being on prenatals like long before you actually get pregnant. And so parallel is such a great option. It's actually better to build up the nutrients before you actually need it for pregnancy. So starting early makes you feel calm and proactive. And parallel is great because it's designed for the not trying yet phase. They literally created a conception support pack for this in between season. It's not just a generic prenatal. It includes nutrients that OB's really prioritize before conception, like CoQ10, DHA, folate, choline. It's founded by practicing OB GYN or we love their prenatals. I love that they have different prenatals for different trimesters. You're not just taking the same thing as everyone else for the entire pregnancy. And they're also now covering the time before you get pregnant, which is just as important. They even have vitamins for your man, so you'll both be optimized for conception. There's no downside to starting early. It functions. It's just a really high quality daily multivitamin now and then if your timeline shifts, no problem. You're just supporting your body with party nutrients. Who wouldn't want that? So if you are pregnant, trying or postpartum, you definitely have to check out parallel. We really recommend it and they give us gave us an exclusive code just for our listeners where new customers can use code Toast to get 20 off your first order@Parallel Health.com. that's P E R E L E L Health.com.
A
thank you, Turtle.
B
L. I forgot. Just wanted to update everyone. The Knicks won last night, which is great for, like my shalom bite, but also, as you guys know, I'm going to the fourth game. So when in the playoffs, like, it's best of seven, so you have to win four and the Knicks have won two in a row and I'm going to the fourth game. So if they win this, like, I
A
have the possibility going to the championship game.
B
No, not that well, yeah, it's not
A
the championship, but it's game of champion.
B
Could be the one where we move to the next round.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, all games. Of course, all games are beautiful.
A
Oh, wait, this is the final championship. This is the final.
B
No, people in New York are so drama. Like we are. We have the worst sports team. So, like, when we make it, this is literally the second round. Like, but people get like Timothy Chalamet, like, so. No, it's not even close. Like, I think if they win the next round, then they go to the finals.
A
Oh, my God, Kylie.
B
We're far out.
A
Kylie is a saint.
B
Oh, my God. Kylie looked hot last night. And did you see her in Jordan Woods? No, no. Like, she actually does. Yes, that's true.
A
The place is great. It always does.
B
Did you see her and Jordan woods celebrating on the court and then like Timothy, like, dabbing up Carlo Anthony Towns?
A
Oh, that's very cute.
B
Yeah, it was cute. Like, they need to go to dinner.
A
I'm sure they do.
B
I don't know because they were both wrapped for Charles after the last win. But like, at totally different times. Like, they weren't together like that same night.
A
Yeah.
B
They didn't eat together.
A
No. I feel like, they're. They all get together. Timothy loves Carl, Jordan.
B
I actually just feel like it's so awkward.
A
You think?
B
It's always gonna be awkward between Kylie and Jordan. Like, first of all, they had a really genuinely unhealthy friendship.
A
Yeah.
B
And then, like, the family just totally dropped Jordan. Like, they did what they had to do. But, like, in hindsight, like, whatever, you know, like, it's Tristan, like, not whatever. I know, I know, I know.
A
That's. It's actually really crazy that she did that and then he did that too. Like, was Chloe pregnant?
B
No.
A
No. That wasn't a pregnant one. No, it was just really. I'm sorry. She's always around like little sis.
B
Yeah, no, it was nutty for sure. But, like, wow, that was such a crazy time not to go back there.
A
It's crazy that that happened. Like, shocking beyond the belief. Like, like, truth.
B
We need to start a list stranger than of, like, pop culture moments we've, like, lived through and reported on that are so crazy. Like, because so many things happen and we move on. But like Megxit, of course. Like, that was insane. Honestly. Jordan woods, like 10 full events of our career. I'm trying to think what else.
A
Candel and West Mandeval.
B
Yes. We're living through a couple right now.
A
Taylor, Frankie, Paul, Bachelor. Cancellation was unlike anything we've ever experienced.
B
Yeah, I bet we could also tell from like our most listened to a Taylor on the field.
A
Licks versus flex.
B
Yeah. We're living through history. Also, I have my whiteboard. But we did, we did teeter on, like, talking about on Monday.
A
What did we do?
B
We were talking about Formula One, Kai Stasi.
A
No, I'm sorry, that wasn't. That's not us like, incessantly bringing it up. Like, that's just the news of the day. I think. I think we're in the clear, honestly.
B
Well, no, we have a couple of, like, milestones coming up where we will unfortunately have to talk about it because that Vanity Fair article, as far as I know, is still in the works, which kind of makes me think that, like, they don't have a lot on him. I think it's like a Matt Kaplan hit piece that they've been working on now for quite a while. Because I've spoken to people who have been reached out like, now for weeks and I feel like if they had a lot, they would post it, publish it.
A
So it's very weird that everyone knows that this article is forthcoming and, like, there's no article.
B
Maybe the article was the Friends we made along the way.
A
Maybe it was. No, but like, it is, like, when alleged aside. Like, that rarely happens where, like, usually when someone has like a hit piece, it's kind of like out of nowhere and it's like, bam, you know?
B
Well, no, actually, when somebody has a hit piece, the person who's it's being written about does know the person who's
A
being written about, but the whole world knows that it's coming. No.
B
Well, maybe we wouldn't have if this story hadn't blown up with Alex Earl. Because now, like, everyone's just sharing everything they know and what they know. It's like a fun fact. Oh, you know, my high school friend got reached out to because she went to college with Matt Kaplan.
A
Yeah. I don't know, I just feel like they're losing their momentum. At this rate, whatever they're going to write is probably not as salacious as what?
B
Well, the fact that they're like, now, like, still reaching out to people for the first time, like, looking for testimonials, doesn't really make me feel, like, confident that they have got anything juicy because if they did, like, they wouldn't need to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for, like, round four of interviews.
A
Yeah. Yeah, I. I think it's time to move on.
B
Yeah. Or just release it.
A
Yeah. No, and also, like, us, like, I'm not. I'm not waiting for it, you know, it's like waiting for me neither.
B
Absolutely. Like waiting for reading this. Shout.
A
Perfect.
B
Perfect. Movie reference.
A
Okay. Our first story, Summer House star Wes Wilson addresses his private photos leaking on the worst day of his life.
B
Oh, I didn't know that.
A
West was on his podcast that he's still doing credit to him and he said, I know my news leaked, but guess what? It's like the sixth worry of mine right now.
B
That's funny.
A
Yeah, it's actually. He's having a really good approach to it. He told his co host that he has a lot of going on, but that he's going to own that the pictures are of him. He said they're not even sexual. They look medical.
B
Yeah, they do.
A
He said, I'm soft in all of them. I don't even know if the other two are me. He confirmed the photos were taken in his old apartment, but he couldn't remember how old they are. He said I had a sauna by my bathroom and I would always get out of the sauna and double check or check progress. He said his friend texted him about it five minutes before he walks on stage at the Summer House reunion. That's a bad friend. He said. I was like, I know I've had the worst day of my life already, which is good to know that's behind me. He said he's laughing about the situation because if not, he'll cry. He said, manscape partnership down the road.
B
Now, here's the thing. I did see the pictures, and I would never discuss them. I'm Taka Johari. But I would never order.
A
Didn't you bring them up on the show?
B
Yeah. I was, like, saying in, like, a. Like, a reprehensible way, like, people are sending them to me. Like, stop.
A
Well, the thing is, when this stuff leaks and. And it comes across my desk, I don't know if, like, I'm seeing it just because, like, I'm an insider and, like, I. I am privy to these things, or has the whole world seen it? I don't know. I guess the whole world.
B
So the whole world had seen it. And so while I think, you know, it's terrible. I like his approach. Absolutely. I love his approach, and I don't feel like he needs to explain himself, but I appreciate him letting everyone know that he was soft because I feel like that's just, like, an important detail.
A
I. I didn't look closely enough to even know, like, if they were flattering, unflattering.
B
They were. I like his use of the word medical. Yeah. They felt very clinical. Yeah. Like, they were not.
A
Make sure you send your doctor to be like, hey, is this normal?
B
Is this normal? Yeah. So I don't know what's funny is that, like, he has a podcast and, like, we're all dying to hear from him. We're like, everyone's itching at the leaks. Like, it's like. And he literally is sitting down weekly on his podcast, talking about all the stuff that we would hope he would talk about, and it's still not compelling enough to get me to listen to it. I don't know anybody. Like, the clips, even on Tick Tock, like, they're not viral. Where he's, like, sitting there talking about the reunion. I'm like, I would actually love to hear you talk about this, but. Oh, it's on your podcast.
A
No can do.
B
Yeah. Just not gonna work.
A
Yeah. But I. I don't know. I think he's handling, actually, in, like, a refreshing sort of way of just, like, business as usual. So it seems like Simone.
B
They both are, like, taking a very, like, candid, funny approach to their coming back. Like, Amanda posted like, a mirror picture and was like, boo. Which Is, like a funny caption. Yeah. So, like, I don't know, I feel like they have this united approach to, like, be funny or just, like, be light.
A
Yeah. And I think there's not really a right way to do it because I don't know if it can even be done. I actually don't know.
B
I know. So it remains to be seen.
A
Might as well, like, try something that's not, like, totally, like, debasing to yourself. You know, other people just, like, engage in, like, literal self harm for months online. I'm the worst.
B
Yeah. And they'll post, like, themselves doing a sound bath, being, like, working on, reflecting and doing better.
A
And it's like, okay, Tom Sandoval went to Miraval. Raquel, like, moved. Moved to another state and she went to an institution. Yeah. And it's like. Or you could just go to the Yankees game and take a selfie.
B
Yeah. Like, either way, the world.
A
I kind of like, either way, the world hates you. So, like, enjoy your life.
B
Yeah, absolutely. I agree.
A
Yeah. Okay, next story. Oh, very exciting. Content News l teaser trailer. Legally Blonde prequel takes L. Woods back to high school. So we finally got a trailer for the Legally Blonde prequel series that is coming out on Amazon this summer. Prime Video released a trailer for Elle, and it gives a glimpse into the life of a high school age. Elle Woods. The premise is that, you know, she's Elle from Bel Air, as we all know her, and then her dad, like, gets a job in Seattle and she
B
has to go fall on hard times.
A
She has, is it hard times or, like, it's a good job and he has to move to Seattle?
B
No, I think they fall on hard times.
A
So they moved to Seattle for high school. And then she's like, you know, with all these green hair and stuff. In high school, when she's like, you know, l Bubbly pink.
B
And the premise is great, although, like, I want to exist in the L Bubbly Pink universe. Like, the trailer when it was, like, in Bel Air, I was like, yes. And then they go to Seattle. I'm like, okay, what is this Twilight? Like, I want the party pink vibe.
A
Yeah. Yeah, I agree with Adam. What? She's gonna, like, learn to thrive in Seattle.
B
I have hope because it does sound very similar to one of my favorite prequel shows, which is the Carrie Diaries, where we take Carrie Bradshaw's, you know, childhood in, I believe, Connecticut and make it into a series played by Anna Sophia Rob, starring love interest Austin Butler. Literally one of the best shows ever. And it had, like, literally nothing to do with Carrie Bradshaw. It's. It's not her. Like, they just both had curly hair and, like, liked purses. So this is giving that.
A
Yeah, it's just like a fish out of water story, but it looks to be, like, done to a T. Very cute.
B
Like, well done.
A
Very real. I will for sure be watching it. Releases on July 1st.
B
Yeah. And also, I feel as though in the Legally Blonde universe, the fans have been promised a lot over the years. It was the sequel Mindy Kaling was doing Legally on four, and now there's a prequel. You know, there's a trailer. I see. I see. It's actually been filmed. So for that, I'm grateful because.
A
Yeah. And it's already.
B
Legally Blonde fans have been kind of left hanging.
A
It's already been renewed for season two, which I feel like means it's really so cute. Yeah.
B
Is Reese Witherspoon involved?
A
I believe so, because I remember when they did the Search for Star, like, she was involved in it.
B
Yeah. This girl's a cutie. She's a newbie. Yeah.
A
Yes. Her name is. Lexi Mind Tree.
B
You know, if Elle was Jewish and she was still living in Bel Air during the time of her bat mitzvah, her a great theme would be Belle Air.
A
That's really beautiful.
B
That's what I do. I think of fictional bat mitzvah themes.
A
It is, like, what you do.
B
Yeah. It's, like, so fun. We love thinking about it. Give me someone else. Share Horowitz had. She had about mitzvah.
A
Well, she's us.
B
She probably had about mitzvah. What do you think her theme was? She, like, wasn't really into Share.
A
She's like, no, she was named after Share, the singer.
B
Named. Oh, so I could see her mom making, like, share the theme.
A
Yeah. Or like, something with fashion.
B
Of course. Shares closet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everybody goes home with, like, a sweater.
A
Classic, classic stuff. Are you ready for our next story? Third?
B
No. I guess. Yeah.
A
A little rumored new couple news. Taylor Fritz was reportedly spotted getting cozy with Olivia Jade after his recent split from his girlfriend of six years, Morgan Riddle. Okay.
B
This is so crazy.
A
Taylor Fritz is like, a top five U.S. tennis American. Yes.
B
And we talked about this a couple of weeks ago that the rumor mill was swirling that him and his longtime girlfriend, influencer Morgz, had broken up. Then, like, she kind of debunked the rumor. It was everywhere. She debunked it on Instagram, and then they broke up the next day. So I don't know if it was, like, a curse or it was true at the Time or it wasn't true. Whatever. She moved to New York and is making, like, scorned girl content. Whatever. Onto Olivia Jade and Taylor Fritz. Now, I want to say I love this for Olivia Jade because, like, seriously, Jacob Elordi him. Okay. But I actually, I get the vibe that he's like, an. Like, I don't know why. I just feel like he's not a nice guy. Just purely based on vibes. I have no personal experience. Like, I just feel like he's not a good boyfriend and also doesn't even have a child.
A
He has a child.
B
And I just feel like that's not congress at this moment with what Olivia Jade needs not to be like, yeah, like, she's literally 12 years old.
A
Yeah. I don't know anything about his personality. I don't catch a vibe any which way. However, I think it takes a certain type of person to be at that level and.
B
Oh, yes.
A
And it's not the sort of person that's going to be great boyfriend material. One, because of the dedication that you need to be, like, singularly focused on your craft. And two, because when you're at the top of the world, like, yeah, you're probably going to be an asshole with the whole world kissing your feet.
B
No. Even if you are raised right and, like, you're not an. You're right. Like, the dedication that it takes to operate at, like, one of the highest levels of performance, like, doesn't really lend itself to being, like, a supportive partner.
A
And it's like, tennis is not. Unless you're playing, like, doubles or whatever. It's a singular, not a team sport. Like, at least football players, like, they have to work with other people. They have to credit other people. Like, you know, it's a. It's their teammates. They're. They know how to operate as a team. When you're, like, a solo dolo, I think you can become, like, really insulated.
B
I just know that nobody on the planet is having a better month than Paige Lorenz. Like, the two of them were fighting for, like, queen bee of the US Open. And now, like, one of the bees has left the hive. Like, she's not even a part of it anymore. So I just know that this is a great day to be Paige Lorenz. So congrats. You won.
A
The crown is yours. I wonder if, like, Olivia does become a tennis swag and, like, is doing the circuit and then if, like, her and Paige do become friends. Because Taylor and Tommy are friends. They're doubles partners.
B
Right. The reason why Paige Lorenz and Mary. No, I don't know.
A
I think they played together at the Olympics. I may have just made that.
B
Oh, maybe at the Olympics. It was always weird that the girlfriends weren't friends. Not only because they look alike and they actually have all the same interests, but their mans are also friends.
A
Yeah.
B
I had heard that it got so bad that, like, the mans started getting involved. Like, that's what I heard.
A
But. So this could be a new leaf for Tommy and Paige and Taylor and Olivier.
B
It's just also, like, a stunt for Olivia. Like, I loved when Olivia started dating Jacob Elordi because everybody was like, college admissions scandal. And I was like, sorry, I'm more involved than that. And I love that, like, Jacob gave her, like, something else for people to talk about. And now, like, Jacob's moved on, and, like, she. I feel like he definitely was not a good boyfriend to her either. I just get that vibe. So I love that she's able to, like, stunt because he's the biggest movie star, so she couldn't, like, date another movie star. But, yeah, sure. Okay. I'll date, like, the number one American tennis player. Fine.
A
Fine. But don't you feel like, as far as, like, if we're really rooting for Olivia Jade to, like, find a great relationship, it's, like, too soon for Taylor Fritz to be actually dating someone? They broke up last week. A girlfriend of six years.
B
Yeah. No, this is not her guy. I don't think that they're gonna end up together, and I don't ship at all. But I love this. For her star.
A
Yeah. And for her story.
B
Absolutely.
A
But I do have concerns. Like, that's really quick.
B
No, she needs to eventually, like, in a few years, once, like, she's made her name, she needs to go to the Sophia Richie Grange Institute of Technology and find an Elliot Grange.
A
Yeah. A businessman who can sort of, like,
B
bankroll her socialite life.
A
Yeah. Also, we got a couple of funny comments for businesswoman of the week this week.
B
Nicole Sanchez Bezos.
A
Lauren Bezos Sanchez Nicole. I think that she is. That she's actually, like, one of the greatest business women of our time, I
B
think, of our time.
A
Wealthiest woman in the country.
B
But. But you guys aren't ready for that conversation.
A
No, you're not. And you're not ready to learn from her yet.
B
No. And, yeah, that's why she's where she's at and where we're at.
A
Like, no, no, not we.
B
Like, no, not us. Not us.
A
Yeah, not you guys, because you listen to the toast and you're sounding funny.
B
Yeah, but like the others. Oh, those people. I like that.
A
Like over there. Not in the camera. Not the ones in the camera that I'm talking to. Ones over there.
B
I got my nails done. Do you like my firecracker red nails?
A
I do. I need a manicure.
B
Name that movie.
A
Should have got an at home manicure last night. Life size.
B
Yeah, I got. Every time I get red nails, I feel like Tyra Banks took my firecracker red nails.
A

A
Thank you, slash coast.
B
You're welcome.
A
Our next story. Guess who got a star on the Hollywood walk of fame?
B
Emily Blunt.
A
Josh. Oh, also good, Josh Groban unveils his Hollywood star with David Foster and his fiance because I guess he's engaged to a lady.
B
I think I knew that one time because I only recently found out Josh Groban was Jewish, which is a red flag for me when I just find out you're Jewish and I like, know your work for so long.
A
Don't look into it.
B
I know I don't want to say anything bad about Josh Groban because I absolutely love him. But like, that's happened to me a few times where like, I'll find out someone is Jewish and it actually makes me hate them because it's like, how did I not know you were Jewish? And I hate to say it, but Paul Rudd. It's like that means you're never talking about the fact that you're Jewish.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
It's giving. Ashamed. Just saying.
A
Yeah. No, there's definitely like, like gripes you can have with Josh Grubbin. I wasn't gonna bring them up on his big day. Like, I was just. No, of course not.
B
But like literally this just happened to me with an influencer I was following and like the content was starting to annoy me. And then I found out he was Jewish. I'm like, you're kidding me.
A
Oh yeah, you're kidding me. You make a video about you unfollowed him because he's Jewish? Because he's. Yeah, because he's Jewish.
B
You make a video for five times a day about everything in your life and I never knew you were Jewish. By unfollow, you unfollowed because he's a Jew. Yeah. I don't follow Jews like that. Well, this too got us Groban. I'll let it pass because your talent is sublime.
A
Well, yeah, it's just like his big day. So we can make it about like the body of work, you know, and not wan.
B
So it's always interesting to see who people bring to their Hollywood walk of Fame. Like I think a lot of it is like, you know, business stuff, but a lot of it is very personal. Josh Gad coming like as a Beauty and the Beast truther.
A
Yes. And means the world. Also, they were classmates at Carnegie Mellon University.
B
You're kidding.
A
Yeah. And David Foster is his mentor.
B
I didn't know that.
A
You didn't know David Foster discovered him.
B
I might have cuz I watched a documentary.
A
Yeah. Remember David Foster discovered him as like a stand in for Andrea Bocelli.
B
Yes, yes, yes.
A
And then he was like took him under his wing and made him a big star.
B
Did David Foster have a documentary? Yes, that's where I learned that. Also Martin Short has a documentary that just came out I think last night. I would, I would love to see it. Apparently he has like a devastating personal life.
A
Oh, interesting.
B
Like filled with tragedy. And he's just like never stopped being this like big funny guy.
A
Yeah, there's a little funny guy. A lot of news from the premiere. The premiere. Premiere happened so sorry.
B
Back to Josh Groban. You just remind me of something because you know, like literally the movie that means the most to me in this world is the recently adaptation of Beauty.
A
The live action version.
B
The live action. And of course one of our favorite moments is of course, Gas. Yeah, we harmonized. And I don't know if you've been seeing Luke Evans who plays Gaston, who's like a OG theater actor. Like if you're in the theaters, he obviously does a lot of movies, but like he's known for theater. He is in the new. I don't know if it's Broadway, Off Broadway adaptation of Rocky Horror Picture Show. And he plays. And I don't know, this is the name of the character. And he sings a song. It's. I. I don't know if it's like a slur, but, like, it's the transvestite song.
A
Like, that's what the song is called, the transvestite song.
B
And he's like. He plays like this cross dresser. And it's such a departure from Gaston. Like, he's. He has insane range because I didn't even recognize him at first. They performed on Jimmy Fallon, like, the cast. Oh, my God. I was shook. I'm like, is that Gaston? Is that Gaston? Why wasn't Luke Evans there? Oh, because he's on Broadway.
A
Yeah. But also, Josh Corbin just did a song for the movie. He probably wasn't, but he did, like a.
B
He did an important song.
A
Oh, no, no. His role to the movie is integral for the viewers. But I don't think he was on set with the actors.
B
I know. He actually could have been the Beast. He could have.
A
But Dan Stevens did a lovely job.
B
Well, they had to kill him off in Downton Abbey. Spoiler alert. So he could get the gig.
A
I think it was worth it. Even though I miss Matthew and I was.
B
Even though he's literally not in the movie because he's under a mask the whole time. Is the Beast.
A
Yeah. It could have been anyone, like, doing the Beast. And then he could have just been in the beginning of the end, for one.
B
He could show it up for one day.
A
Yeah. And, like, then I feel like things went downhill for Mary after that. Like, it was obviously. Nobody was never the same. Like, even though she had, like, great moments, like, nothing was as good as Mary and Matthew.
B
That was such a big mistake. Like, I'm sorry.
A
Yeah, Sorry.
B
Not to get. So why was Josh Gad there?
A
Classmates.
B
Yeah, I guess their classmates.
A
They came up together.
B
Who else?
A
Who's engaged to a woman named Natalie McQueen? Okay, I. I don't know her.
B
Me neither.
A
And Ben Schwartz. Who's that? His Coffee Town co star.
B
Excuse me. Okay.
A
Mazel tov. To Josh Groban.
B
I just think that, like, the requirements that you need to meet to get a star in the Walk of Fame, like, really confused me.
A
Yeah, I agree. But he's, like, very. He. He's very successful and storied and, like, he's in some echelon of, like, greatness, I would say. But.
B
Yeah. But Hollywood, I feel like he's more like Broadway.
A
Yeah. And like, he's more of a singer, less of an actor, but I guess yeah. Due to his Broadway contributions. Sweeney. Yeah.
B
But then it's crazy that Stanley Tucci got one last week. Like, I don't. I feel as though he would have been eligible weeks ago, months ago, years ago.
A
I. I don't know.
B
Right.
A
I guess it's contributions to entertainment. Like, Andy got one. He's never acted.
B
Yeah, yeah. Fine, fine, fine.
A
Yeah. It is pretty well rounded.
B
Yes.
A
Yes. Our fifth and final story is some sports news. Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo will not run in the Preakness Stakes.
B
Yeah. So they can't be Triple Crown.
A
No Triple Crown winner this year because Golden Tempo, who just won the Kentucky Derby, will be taking off of the Preakness. His female trainer said we are incredibly appreciative of the excitement.
B
Excuse me, his female trainer. His trainer, she doesn't like to be referred to as that. Did you see her?
A
No, I didn't, but I was just saying that. Not because. But just like, for anyone who's listening, just as a reminder that it was like, the female trainer. Yeah.
B
She was asked about it on Jenna and Chanel and then also on Dave Portnoy. She was like, it's great that, like, young girls can look up to me, but, like, I'm just a trainer. So, like, stop calling me the girl trainer.
A
I understand. I wasn't saying it in a way that I just wanted to recall for people like, that his trainer was why
B
we're reporting on this.
A
Who made her story?
B
No, of course. But according to her, like, she really doesn't care and she's just one of the guys. Like, she's not like other girls.
A
Oh.
B
She's literally Ed Log.
A
That's cute. So his trainer said, we are incredibly appreciative of the excitement and support surrounding the possibility of a Triple Crown run. Golden gave us the race of a lifetime in the Kentucky Derby. And we believe the best decision for him moving forward is to give him a little more time following such a tremendous effort. His health, happiness, and long term future will always remain our top priority. So Golden Temple is actually the third Derby winner in the past five years to not enter into the Preakness. A lot of horses that run the Preakness to do not that run the Derby, do not run the Preakness anymore because they're so close together. There's actually talk in the horse world
B
of pushing back about separating them. Yeah.
A
But it's like, well, Secretariat could do it. American Pharaoh did it.
B
Yeah. Like, not to be insensitive, but I
A
just don't think we should lower the bar.
B
But, like, how long do you need to recover from, like, a four minute race?
A
I know. I. I don't. I don't know, but it's like, they used to be.
B
There's something they're not telling us.
A
No, they used to be able to do it. Like, let's not lower the bar. We're supposed to be getting better and better. You know, my advancements in medicine and horse care and horse training, like, you're gonna make it easier. I don't know. I. Like, it's just a shame that they set it up this way to begin with. It seems stupid.
B
Yeah, absolutely. But.
A
But it can be done.
B
In the past.
A
It can be done. American Pharaoh did in 2015 and Justify in 2018.
B
And so maybe. What's the horse's name?
A
Golden Tempo.
B
Maybe Golden Tempo isn't the girl that I thought she was.
A
It's true. Also, apparently, like, none of the horses that ran the Derby are running the Preakness because they're all, like, taking off.
B
Okay. So, like, that's annoying.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
I just feel like some of the steam has been taken out of the Preakness now. Like, it's not gonna be as fun.
A
Of course, we're not rooting for a Triple Crown.
B
And what's the third one?
A
The Belmont.
B
New York.
A
Yeah.
B
I should go.
A
You should go. Is it always at Belmont racetrack? Because this year the Preakness is, like, not at the Preakness, because I guess the Preakness is under construction.
B
Oh, they're doing Renault. I mean, they literally have all year to do it, but okay. Yeah.
A
Literally a patch of dirt, but okay. Sure.
B
Yeah. Okay, sure. Construct it.
A
Funny. Yeah. The Preakness. Oh, the Belmont is taking place at Saratoga. It's hosting Belmont for a third and final time this year. The Belmont's under construction? Yeah. It's kind of old.
B
Yeah. Because when I was thinking the Belmont, I'm like, not that rusty old place we used to drive the highway.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. It's, like, disgusting.
A
I once went. It was, like, not fabulous.
B
I am not surprised to hear that you didn't have a good time.
A
Oh, I actually, Yeah. I had a really bad time.
B
Oh, did you?
A
Yeah. It was not for me. You know. Know thyself.
B
What was so bad about it? And what were you there for?
A
Well, we went with all my college friends. We went for. Who was the one that year?
B
There was, like, a horse.
A
Yeah. California Something something. It was a big, like, exciting one. I don't think he won. It was, like, his chance at the Triple Crown. And my whole like, college gang was going, so I went, like, train day. Drinking train was not for me. Train. A lot of train. A lot of drinking. I was wearing the wrong shoes.
B
What shoes were you wearing?
A
It was actually sneakers, but they didn't have an arch.
B
You are seriously such a grandma. You wore the wrong shoes. Sneakers.
A
I think it was Converse.
B
I just remember, like, really notoriously uncomfortable.
A
Really feeling flat footed that day.
B
I actually do know what you mean. Like, but you sound insane.
A
I need a bit of support for my arch.
B
Yeah, absolutely.
A
So, yeah, I'm glad they're fixing up the Belmont. I'll say. Because it was not glamorous.
B
Yucky.
A
Yucky. So those are the fast five stories. I feel as though you needed to know.
B
And it's giving the safi.
A
Is it Nasaf 55 minutes. Oh, let's keep going then.
B
Oh.
A
Actually a story I didn't choose. But, like, I want to talk about it and, like, I'm gonna take this as a sign to bring it up.
B
Yeah.
A
Another update in Mike Frable and Diana Rossini's.
B
Thank you so much for listening to the Toast and Lady morning show.
A
We're doing the fastest.
B
Okay. What? They rented a boat while she was pregnant.
A
They rented a boat two months before she gave birth. And what's crazy is, like, of course they were carrying on an affair while she was pregnant. Pregnant. Potentially allegedly his child. But, like, the people from the boating place, like, released their waivers where you see, like, where they sign, like, that's like kind of up. Up.
B
It is kind of up.
A
So two things can be true. Like, they should not have done that, but, like, she was eight months pregnant, like, cruising with her mans. That's crazy work.
B
Because obviously their baby, it's crazy.
A
It just keeps getting crazier. This is a year.
B
And I want to thank you. I want to thank you for not choosing it.
A
Yeah, no, I wasn't gonna.
B
No matter how hard, like, Liz P. Woods tries, like, you're not gonna get me to care about these people. I didn't know who they were before.
A
It's. I don't care about these people because I don't really know who they are. But like this, like, six long years affair where they're married and there's children and they just, like, keep. It actually sounds like a movie, you know?
B
Yeah.
A
Like, why not just be together? I don't understand. You obviously love each other, Right? What's stopping you? Aside from your, like, spouses?
B
Right. That's a big one.
A
Yeah.
