A
Good morning, girlies. It's the Toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your host.
B
It's your favorite show.
A
The best five things you need to know.
B
We'll start your day off Swirly. It's the Toast.
A
They sound amazing.
B
This fucking necklace. It's the second time it broke.
A
Oh, man.
B
Fucker. Welcome back to the Toast. Happy Monday. We are live and in living color with Jackson Claw.
A
Our live in studio together. We're back together. We've been so simpatico because I came to New York this weekend to see my co chair and for a work obligation.
B
Yeah, for sure. For sure.
A
We had Dear Media by night, which we'll get into because it was so much fun. And then Claudia, you know, she didn't trust me to get home on my own.
B
I don't trust. When Jackie was walking around these streets of New York, I don't know why I felt like my daughter. I'm like, do you need me to drop you off?
A
Like you know where you're going?
B
I forget. I know you live there.
A
For not only I'm from there, which is just the craziest.
B
You're not.
A
Incongruous fact.
B
I felt worried about my sister, like it was broad daylight. But I'm like, she's going to get lost. She's going to get. She's going to get jumped. She's going to come back home with a black eye. But you survived New York City.
A
I did.
B
You kind of thrived. New York City.
A
I did. You know, I had a really nice day. I feel like the day that I came, the weather was amazing. We were in Central Park. You had a little soiree.
B
Yes. We threw like a little, little picnic. It wasn't so little and it kept getting bigger. I'm like, we'll do a little picnic. Next thing you know, there's like a balloon arch.
A
It was a glick, Nick. Yeah. Glam picnic.
B
It was a Shabitnik. A Shabbat picnic. All of Ruby's friends came. Just like a little basketball themed party was so cute.
A
And all of my friends came too. So I got to see all of my friends. I was in New York for literally 24 hours. Vlog coming. We vlogged the whole day. Yeah, we did really funny and fun vlog. We vlogged like Dear Media by Noche. It was just like really great. So I was able to see almost all of my friends.
B
Very productive trip.
A
Very productive trip. The city was looking beautiful. The place, the place looked great. It always does. We crushed our work obligation we crushed our work obligation. We played mahjong. So all in all, I was, like, really nervous for the trip. You know, I haven't traveled in a while. I don't travel. I'm not a traveler.
B
And like, you walking around a major city by yourself, like, it's worrisome.
A
Yeah.
B
Three bucks, two bags, one jumping, one one. One mugging.
A
One jacks, three bugs. Two bags, one jacks.
B
But you only brought one bag, which I was really impressed with.
A
It was like a tiny little 24 hours.
B
Yeah.
A
And it was a short trip, but it was a great success. And now I'm back. Claudia escorted me home. Thank you so much.
B
We all flew home together, which was so nice. I miss my sister, and it's so great to be here. The place looks great. It. It always does.
A
And you know what? Like, traveling, not traveling, like, because I don't want to go down that road, like, but, like, moving places.
B
Let's make you love your place.
A
No, no, it's just, like, it's fun for us, like, going there, coming here. Yeah.
B
Having multiple places.
A
Coming here, going there.
B
Absolutely.
A
Just, like, renewed energy. Like, we love our pen pal energy, but we love our in studio energy.
B
We do.
A
So it's just, like, fun to switch it up.
B
It's fun to switch it up. And you know what? As a great America Ferreira once said, you gotta kick it up.
A
And I do feel like we have kicked it up. I also did what I said I was gonna do, and I watched Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
B
What episode are you up to?
A
I'm in the middle of the last episode, so I feel, oh, my God,
B
you're ahead of me. What episode is that?
A
7.
B
I feel like I'm on 6.
A
Oh, I'm in Newport.
B
I'm in Newport too.
A
They just fought in the bedroom.
B
Yeah.
A
And now it's the next day, but. Oh, I just saw, like, the previews for, like, the mid season trailer. Did you see the mid trailer?
B
Oh, am I all caught up?
A
No. And now there's one episode that I haven't really watched.
B
Oh, me neither. Okay. So.
A
Okay. What do you think?
B
Do you love it?
A
So I understand, like, you know, the woman that's a. No. The woman being cheated on in real time, like, is crazy, is major for television. I wouldn't say that. Like, I love it, but I'm. I'm into it and, like, I want to keep watching it. And. Yeah, it's not like the worst. I thought it was going to be like, seriously the worst piece of garbage based on the trailer. That came out.
B
Yeah, agreed, agreed. My expectations were in the garbage.
A
I thought it was going to be like the end of Housewives. Like, we've lost the plot here.
B
Yeah. And the thing is, I do think it marks a shift in housewives because even though they've slipped in recent years, it's always been this, like, affluent group of women. And really, this is not an affluent group.
A
Not.
B
Liz has a nice house and that's it. They're all just regular women and they do well.
A
But I think, like, the group and the history is very good. And of course, we have, like, the.
B
The young, the youths, the Rosie and the Kelsey.
A
Rosie. Kelsey, actually, I. Rosie or Kelsey. Kelsey.
B
Oh, no, I'm team Rosie.
A
Kelsey.
B
First of all, Kelsey is such a jealous. I'm sorry, I know I'm about to use this word and it's not.
A
Don't say. Don't use that word. She's not that terrible.
B
No, I'm not using that word. Starts with the same letter. She's literally the definition of a concubine. Like, seriously, get a job. I hate her.
A
Sure.
B
She's just really pretty. Like, once you get past that, you're like, wait, you're mean. You're literally a bully. And her coming after Rosie for, like, her house and whatever. Like, you literally don't have a house, first of all. Second of all, how do you know that she's lying? You need to bring proof.
A
No, also when she said that. When Rosie said that, that, like, I have a house, I have a husband, I have a job, and you don't like. Yeah, no, she's right for that. In general, though, like, when it comes to, like, confessionals or friendship. Personality, personality. I really like Kelsey. She is also so easy on the eyes. Not that any of the women. She is pretty privileged, but she's so pretty.
B
No, you wouldn't be saying that.
A
That scene in the diary, everyone is pretty.
B
No, she's prettier than everyone. She's one of the prettier housewives of all time.
A
I know. No, no. So it's just, like, really nice to watch. And so I know.
B
I want to encourage that she gets
A
a little bit of.
B
No, not with me. Sorry. That scene at the dinner.
A
Someone's really wealthy. You want to watch, even if they're not the most interesting. Like, that gives them a little something.
B
That scene at the dinner when she was like, that's the first genuine thing I've ever heard come out of your mouth. Literally the definition of a backhanded compliment being like, everything you say is a lie. And like, that was nice. And she like, it's mad that Rosie's not like so grateful for like a shitty compliment.
A
Rosie lost me. Like, I became like a Rosie op. So it's like I didn't.
B
I was a Rosie up when she first entered. I'm like, who's this toddler and tiara? Like, her outfits and her confessionals are crazy. Her house is gross.
A
Like, she, when they went on the railroad around the sea. And she gets in the car with Liz and says out of nowhere, do you like Ashley? And then Liz shares her thoughts on Ashley and then she goes and tells Ashley, l thinks that you are like, you're not nice to her. And we said that she could be scary. And then she immediately flipped on Alicia and turned something that Alicia said into a negative. In that moment, I was like, I don't like this person. She is such so desperate to be on TV that she's like operating like a producer ploy. And so maybe if Kelsey was fighting with someone else, I wouldn't, I would maybe. And I agree with you, like, I'm not like loving the fight, but I already wrote off Rosie in that, like when Alicia did, when Alicia saw her, she's like, you're being weird. And I see, see you. I see it in your eyes. I'm like, I see it, I see it in her eyes. Like so desperate to be on the show and like make happen even though things are happening. Rosie, you don't have to try so hard, like to run to one person, talk, run to the next. I imagine when all the women watch this, they're gonna be like, the, were you doing, like starting and then telling someone else what someone else said?
B
I see it so differently. First of all, I think that on the railroad, I think her and Ashley I are like actual friends. So if like the head honcho was saying this about you, I actually think Ashley wasn't even mad. She was like, you know, I get this a lot because I'm really quiet. Some people think I'm being mean, but I'm just shy. I'm not a bitch. I actually think that was like helpful for her friend because Ashley's not in the mix and like Rosie's trying to bring her for her and her friend to level up with the older women. And I'm sorry, I loved when she clocked Alicia. Alicia is so fudgeing, two faced. And Alicia, like couldn't handle anyone who just like blows up when they're being called out for stuff. Like, you're so wrong. She had no. So about Liz on the beach, she did say everybody has to walk on eggshells around Liz. Sorry. She got motherfucking called out for being a snake.
A
Oh, I didn't think she was a snake. I felt like she was saying, like, yeah, like, Liz is head in charge.
B
That's not what she said.
A
We walk on eggshells around. Like, she's a little scary. And I feel like everything that she said and the tone in which she said it, she would have said to Liz. I don't think, like, anything that what she said was bad, but the way that Rosie framed it when she brought it up in front of the group was snake.
B
Like, I think she's doing her job. Yeah. She's, like, the least eligible to be on this show. She's, like, young and, like, has a house that's not finished, like, 1500. She doesn't have, like, an interesting background like Kelsey does. So, yeah, she's earning her keep here. And in the beginning, I was like, who the is this? Like, seriously, she looks like a child wearing her toddlers and tiaras, but she's really grown on me. And when she was, like, sick at the house and everyone was being so mean to her, like, trying to convince her at that dinner that she should be grateful for the comment that Kelsey gave her. I'm sorry. That was Joe. Like, a big L on Joellen's part. And I love Joellen. I'm sorry. Like, I felt bad for her, and now I stand Rosie sorry. And someone's like, someone's got to do the work. And you know all the things that have come out about Kelsey.
A
No.
B
So her and that guy broke up two years ago, and he, like, let her use that. They're still friends. He, like, let her use the house. Everyone knows, like, in her friends and family, like, her real friends and family ever, that he let her use the house, like, launch her career and, like, having this interesting. Because otherwise, like, seriously, what. Let's say we met her post years. Two years post breakup. Like, why would she be on the show?
A
Okay.
B
Yeah. So she's just, like, sort of lying about everything and she's accusing Rosie about lying.
A
So us truth is that everything that come out.
B
I think there was more stuff about Rosie was on Entertainment Tonight. I was watching it on the airplane yesterday. What else did she say? I don't know.
A
She's like, I don't need your life story to be like, everyone fibs a little. Like, I'm watching what I'm watching.
B
Pretty privilege. Pretty privilege from you for sure.
A
But also, I like her. Just like, I like.
B
I can't believe we're so off.
A
We're so. Except I do like Joanne.
B
Oh, I do think my opinion's unpopular one. I think everybody, like, loves Kelsey and thinks annoying. I think.
A
Oh, I have no idea.
B
I haven't gone on to Twitter yet because I'm not like, fully caught up.
A
My thoughts on Ashley are a little bit different from yours because I agree that like, while she's not a part of the group, I actually like, have sort of, like, liked her. It's just fun to like, see her in this environment. But yeah, I agree she needs to get like a little more involved and she does feel like. I know she said she's shy and everyone thinks she's a bitch, which I couldn't relate to that sentiment more. That's literally my life story, like the title of my book.
B
Everyone thinking you're.
A
Yeah, everyone thinks I'm a bitch, but I'm actually just shy. However, I do feel like there's like an air of snobbery about her, like where I feel like in the confessionals and everything, she. It seems like she's sort of like looking down on Rhode island and everyone and she's like, not really jumping in, not only because of shyness but also just because I. Even in the mid season trailer, when she's like, can we all just stop yelling for one second?
B
Like, girl, go on a different show.
A
You cry, they yell like it's whatever.
B
So. Yeah.
A
But I'm actually. And I also feel like her life, the position that she's in, her life right now is very relatable.
B
Yeah.
A
And I'm really enjoying watching it because it's like the Valley and all lives. Yeah. Of like, you know, young motherhood and the stresses. And I feel like she's like sharing a lot, but I also have so much. I feel like she's such an amazing wife. She loves her husband so a little too much. No, I know, but like. And she was always that girl. Like, for Chris Souls, like, she would have done anything for him.
B
She's a lover.
A
She's a lover. And she loved Jared so much. We all saw it. And like, it's interesting to see how those two people then like, grow up
B
and have a life.
A
And she's like, so supportive and so patient and so loving and like, just so worried about, like, her husband's happiness and like, and it's really, like admirable to watch her, like, be so patient.
B
Yeah.
A
When I think a different woman would not Be. You know.
B
Agreed. But it's simply hard to watch, you know, at times.
A
Yeah, no, but it's really. It's. It's admirable. I will say, like, how loving she is. But why don't we ever see their house? Why haven't we seen their house? We only see. We only see the coffee shop.
B
Like, for this other house once.
A
No, no.
B
They were both home with the kids when.
A
I don't remember.
B
But I, like, I'm, like, picturing their
A
living room only because that's where she's like, her confessionals are.
B
Right, Right.
A
But, like, I feel like we don't, like, actually see a lot of her home. Like, and even when she talks a little bit about the influencing or, like, wait, I'm sorry. The cruise that she went on, like, I want to see more of it.
B
Kelsey being with, like, the Instagram hair to Rosie, like, that was really painful.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's like, she literally hired you. Like, what more could you want in terms of supporting someone's business?
A
Yeah, no, I agree.
B
Like, that was nothing. It's thin.
A
But I understand why, like, Rosie automatically rubs Kelsey the wrong way and why she's just, like, looking for an issue with her.
B
Yeah, of course.
A
Like, because I. So I understand that.
B
Yeah, of course. I have that with people in my own life as well.
A
Right.
B
But it's like, it's more of a reflection on me than it is, like,
A
would you rather go to lunch with Kelsey or Rosie right now?
B
Rosie.
A
Like, right now. Rosie for you.
B
But we'll see where the season shakes out.
A
No, I love Kelsey and she looks like Gal Gadot.
B
She's so beautiful.
A
She's getting more beautiful. I feel like in the early episodes, like, she just looks like a girl. But, like, every scene, like, and. Oh, and every angle that they film her at, you know, she's like. It's just. She's a pleasure to watch.
B
The other thing that they had said about Kelsey was that her and Bill, like, the other guy had been dating for two years. I love it, like, when they literally broke up. So she's just telling the story of her life from two years ago.
A
Okay.
B
That's just a lie.
A
Pretty privileged.
B
Pretty privilege.
A
I just, like, don't care that much because it's. It's her life, like, in the house and circumstances. Housekeeper. That's not why I like her. So it's like, oh, that.
B
But that is why she got on the show.
A
Like, but if you told me she had a face transfer.
B
Right. Oh, if the pretty wasn't authentic. You would be upset.
A
No, actually, I wouldn't. I would just say, who's your doctor?
B
Right, Right.
A
That's what I would say.
B
And Rue la La, like, she makes me so sad. What was the Lula row? The leggings. When they were at Polo, he left and comes back without his ring. Like, that was one of actually the craziest things.
A
He said his parent was in the hospital just, so go see his mistress.
B
And then she's at home being like, he went to the hospital. Why would he have to drop you at home? Why couldn't you all go to the hospital together?
A
I don't know. And so what's the reason that he won't just leave her? Like, because she makes the money.
B
Oh, maybe she makes the money. Or, like, I don't know. I get the vibe that from a lot of these people, like, the way they talk about marriages. They're, like, kind of old school. It's like, you just have to make it work.
A
Like, I want to stay.
B
No.
A
Why he won't leave her.
B
No. Because it's like their ethos is, like, we make the marriages work, but, like, you know, we have issues.
A
Yeah. So he wants to stay married and also have a girlfriend. That's, like, the ideal for him.
B
Do you think that Liz slept with Dino? Like, do you think that they had an affair?
A
I don't know. And I don't care.
B
Oh, okay.
A
You know?
B
Yeah.
A
And the way they keep talking about things and they allude to, like, a lot of the rumors and stuff. It's like, a lot of context for us.
B
Is missing to be provided.
A
No, no, I. And they're not providing. They're just not. So I don't care.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't care about the ongoing, you know, and, you know, down by the seawall. Like, I don't care.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, it seems like there has to be, like, an understanding that everyone here. Oh, Joellen and the sister and the husband.
B
Joellen and the sister and also.
A
Somebody help me.
B
What Joe Ellen look like? Like, it's bothering me.
A
Oh, it's getting.
B
Ben said it too.
A
He was like, wait, I was getting close to it. I. I can't tell if it's someone
B
in my personal life or somebody, like, famous.
A
I was getting close to the identification, but I didn't get there yet. I was like, it's someone.
B
Right.
A
Someone also. But that's where I got with Kelsey and Gal Godot. Now you will see it.
B
Okay. I don't really see it, but I'll look for it.
A
You'll See. It's like, in her being, you know?
B
Yeah, yeah. In her being.
A
In her being of being gorgeous.
B
So what nights is it on? Like, I need to add it to my weekly schedule on Sunday.
A
Oh, last night.
B
Oh, great. So now we're two episodes behind.
A
Great.
B
Okay, we'll catch up this week. Just one. Okay, okay, we'll catch up this week. Also, major news in the licks versus Lex. I don't have my whiteboard, but if I did, like, I'm throwing it out.
A
Throw it out.
B
Obviously, we need to talk about it every day.
A
Yeah. The lead story today. Oh, and then also, we just want to talk about Dear Media by Night because we had such a fab at
B
Time by no Che. Yeah, they did, like, a live. I don't even know what to call it. It was like, almost like a festival where they had, like, a lineup of some. Their most popular podcast. So it was us, of course. Taylor Strecker was a host of the evening. The good guys did a show. They brought out Joey Commaster, Amanda Hirsch, Nuts Kitty, but Not Fat came. She brought out Amy Schumer, which was such a slay. We got to the downstairs dressing rooms. It was at Webster hall, and all the talent had dressing rooms with their names on the door, and it said, Amanda Hirsch, Amy Schumer. And I was like, first of all, I didn't know that everybody was bringing guests. Like, we don't do guests, but. And we never would have brought one, but I just, like, didn't know that that was like. I guess that's what people do on, like, live.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
So when Ben told me he was bringing on a guest, I'm like, that's weird. But I guess it wasn't.
A
We were the weird ones.
B
We were the weird ones. Amy Schubert came down to the dressing room, was, like, swirling it up with everyone. Like, she was so regular. She looked so pretty. And she came up to us and she was like, I want to meet you guys. I'm such a fan of the toast. Yeah, yeah. And then she did her segment and slayed. And then Ben and Josh went and slayed, and then Jackson turn went and
A
obviously turned came out of Live show retirement.
B
I know. Did it make you want to do more?
A
Yes, for sure. I like, it's everything around it that's really hard, you know, like, the traveling or, like, missing bedtime or whatever. But, like, being on stage with the swirlies, like, genuinely is electric.
B
Yeah, it was. It's addicting.
A
Yeah. So we will, at some point do more. It was Nice to come out for one night only. Just like, pop in, pop out. But it's definitely like, in our future once we can, like, move freely. Move freely. We're not in a free movement time in our lives.
B
No.
A
You know.
B
Yeah, it was great.
A
Yeah. So it was fun to just like, one night be a rock star.
B
And they also, like, threw together, like, such a nice event that, like, everybody there, like, they got PR bags to go home with, like, from all the brand sponsors. It was just like, it was kind of like, really well put together. There was like custom cocktail napkins, you know?
A
Yeah.
B
They said, what are you nuts?
A
What are you nuts?
B
And they had, like, you know, lots of sponsored activations. Like, everybody was getting true fruit and cloud popcorn for free.
A
I love it.
B
I had so much true for when I was there. Like, it was just. It was all over the dressing rooms. Yeah, I've never seen those individual size. Like, you get one piece of fruit.
A
Yeah.
B
Pretty smart.
A
One fro for true for Trudeau Treaty.
B
A Trudeau. I love that. So today's stories, like, we kind of gotta get into them because it's gonna be hard not to. And I left my iPad in New York, so if you're wondering why I look like Dan Rather, it's because I am the Dan Rather of my generation. And we're going analog today with the sponsors. So thank you to our sponsors at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
A
Without further ado. Da da da. Do it is time for the past five stories that you do need to know.
B
And the past five stories that you need to know are brought to you by Quint. Lately, we've been feeling more intentional about what we wear daily. Leaning into pieces that feel effortless, comfortable, and still put together. It just makes getting dressed simpler. And Quint has been our go to where the fabrics feel elevated, the fits are flattering, and everything just works without overthinking. So Quince makes it easy to refresh your wardrobe this spring. We've been talking about quints for many years, and I only recently started getting their baby clothes cuz of becoming, like, kind of like one of those moms who only wants, like 100% cotton and whatever. And I didn't know where to do that. And then actually, Taylor Strecker, fellow mama told me Quint. So I've been buying so much baby clothes on Quint because they just make things that are well made. So their linen pants are lightweight. They have 100% European linen. They make organic cotton items. Ultra soft denim tops start at $30 and so the reason why they're able to make designer quality clothing but not at designer prices is because they work directly with ethical factories. They cut out the middlemen and then pass the saving. Pass the saving. Sometimes my Long island comes out. Pass the savings on to you. You have such a wild side. You're paying for quality and craftsmanship. Craftsmanship, not a brand markup. Everything I have for quints, whether it's for me or for just wears really well washes. I've had some of my sweaters trousers for many years. So refresh your everyday with luxury you are actually going to use. Head to Quince.com toast for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. That's Q-U-I-N-C-E.com toast for free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com toast today's episode is also brought to you by Minky Couture. Oh, you know when we were doing our Dear Media by Noche event, we were laying on Mickey Couture blankets because we're so brand loyal. So Mickey Couture is a blank, a blanket company and you've probably heard us talk about them many times. And if you haven't or you don't understand the hype, let me explain it to you because I can practically hear you guys just being like what's so great about this blanket? They sell blankets everywhere and let me tell you, this is a blanket that's not like other blankets. You've probably seen them all over social media and also copycats of them. They are the inventor of the Viral Hugs blanket. It's a stretchy, plush and double sided blanket that quite literally hugs you back. I've never had a blanket that comes even close to my Minky Couture. I love the business. It's a female owned business so started by a mom who just wanted to provide comfort for her daughter. They're also a band that's really a brand that's really passionate about giving back. They've donated over 100,000 of their mini minkies to NICU's all across the country. They do that every year. So it's just a great brand to support while also like receiving probably the best product ever made. They have tons of different sizes. They have kids, toddlers, they have an infant one that's like perfect for a dog crate if you're interested in that. And we have, I think one of their best offers, they give toasters half off all full priced items. So if you use our Code Toast Toast, you're going to get half off all full price items and also be sure to follow them on Instagram at Minky Couture. They're always doing like lots of fun giveaways and stuff, so visit softminky blankets.com use code toast at checkout for 50% off all full price blankets. That's Soft Minky Blankets. Code T O A s T for 50% off all full price blankets. You're going to. You're going to thank me. You're going to like the way it feels. I guarantee it. A
Thank you Fresh turt.
B
My pleasure. Fresh dirt, fresh shirt.
A
Okay, our first story. Throw out the whiteboard because Alex Cooper is pregnant. She shared yesterday on Instagram this. She is expecting her first baby with her husband, Matt Kaplan. So she post photo of the two of them loved up and bump in and said, our family now.
B
Turns out they probably are sleeping in separate bedrooms. Maybe, like, the smell of him has started to bother her. Maybe she needs more room. Or maybe the pregnancy pillow just sort of only left room for one. So good to know that those rumors
A
were true or no. No, but it's funny because the rumors were that, like, her and her husband, like, are rocky and they're splitting up and those articles were coming out for weeks and it's like, no, you couldn't have been further true because they're pregnant.
B
Yeah. Now, I need people to, like, have normal reactions to this. And I've seen some really, like, genuinely up upsetting things. First of all, people saying, oh, you know, they're probably having a baby to fix their marriage. Like, seriously, stop now. When someone gets pregnant, like, they are off limits. I'm sorry. They are. And I actually feel really bad that she was dealing with this in her first trimester. You know, I had a little bit of a scandal during one of my pregnancies. One of my. I've only had one during my one and only pregnancy. And let me tell you, was really hard. Like, it messes with your mental health and, like, I feel bad for her.
A
What scandal did you have?
B
Well, sorry, we. Yeah, and we didn't even do anything. Like, I was getting canceled and I literally was just, like, laying in bed. It was insane. So I will tell you, it's very hard on your health. So I feel bad for her.
A
Yeah. That's not why they went to Hawaii. Yeah, of course. Get away from it all.
B
Another reaction, like, again, I need people to be normal is like, well, Alex Earl obviously knew that she was pregnant, so she withheld, you know, in. In getting herself involved in making it worse for Alex Cooper. And it's like, okay, like, she obviously didn't know that she didn't know she was pregnant.
A
I don't think that she did. No. But also, like, Alex Cooper did open the ring while she was pregnant, but she was also probably, like, just feeling like, you know, you also just get like, impatient. And also, like, pregnancy and having babies, like, makes you real. It makes you tough. Like, makes you just be like, nothing matters.
B
Of only a crazy, hormonal pregnant woman would start this drama, honestly. Yeah.
A
But also, like, sometimes when you're, like, younger and scared. You just, like, shy away from things. But, like, the confidence that comes with, like, pregnancy and being a mother, you're like, say it. Yeah, let's fight.
B
Yeah, of course I want to say something, and I know you don't want me to say it, but I do want to say, like. And it's just, like, the most annoying thing you can say. But, like, I did have a feeling she might be pregnant. And if you watch a video. I only saw the trailer, her episode with Kevin Hart, like, the roots. That's why I'm so glad I don't dye my hair. Like, you can't dye your hair in the first trimester or the whole pregnancy.
A
Some people don't do it whole pregnancy, but definitely not first trimester.
B
But it opens your roots, will give you away.
A
I guess so.
B
I think she thought, like, the slick
A
back pony would help changes up her hair.
B
Really? I actually feel like it's the one thing she doesn't change.
A
No, she's, like, had different shades of blonde. Like, some people grow their roots out. Some people like our transition to brunette. It could be. It could be a bunch of stuff.
B
Yeah. Well, the retard dead giveaway for the blonde swirlies, so thankfully, we don't have that problem.
A
Yeah.
B
I think this is nice. Like, yeah, it also. It is really crazy because I feel like it's so, like, against her ethos,
A
you know, it's very incongruous with, like, her messaging. Her messaging. I don't want to say her because I don't know her. And I feel like there's a complete difference between, like, what she puts out in the world and who she actually is. Because a lot of the content that she's become famous for, I don't know what she says on every single episode, but a lot of, like, the ethos is like, like, you know, women, we don't need a man. Dump him.
B
Well, she's, like, getting married and having babies.
A
She's very traditional.
B
Yeah.
A
Yes.
B
She actually is very traditional when. Yes. A lot of her messaging, like, encourages fellow woman.
A
Fellow, like, be independent.
B
Right.
A
Men stink.
B
Right. Break up with your boyfriend.
A
And I think she also did an
B
episode about, like, how, okay, it is to, like, you know, push kids down the line. That was kind of recent. So I think this is wonderful. I was shocked.
A
Yeah, me too.
B
Yeah. And I like being shocked.
A
Yeah, me too. But I also. I also saw a video today that was like, she's just, like, won the battle because I don't think at this point not that Alex Earl was like, this is changing anything for Alex Earl's plan. But like now it's kind of case close. You're not going to go after a pregnant woman.
B
Absolutely. No, it's definitely. It definitely changes the landscape of the fight.
A
It also makes me want to start fights like when I'm pregnant. Because then no one's going to come after a pregnant woman. Right.
B
Absolutely. I need to call Ben. We need to get right.
A
You know, you're right. We should always have like one of us.
B
And I don't know if everybody agrees with this, but in terms of like Internet like drama, like, I do feel like pregnant people are off limits. I really do.
A
Yeah. Once it's.
B
Once they're pregnant. But nobody knew.
A
Right.
B
So I didn't ever like, so like,
A
so it shouldn't come out on the show on this.
B
I actually do wonder if this changes Alex Earl's plans at all. Like, maybe she was like planning on going in and it's like by then the show she'll be like nine months breaking. That's even worse. Like.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't know. I really don't know. I'm curious.
A
I feel like it doesn't change her plans.
B
Okay.
A
Because I. She does still need to.
B
And she didn't start this.
A
She has her own brand to worry about. And if she like has. Oh, if she just leaves this open ended forever, like, that's not good. Especially if she has some big story to tell.
B
Yeah.
A
And she didn't start it. So I guess like pregnant women then just get licensed to start stuff.
B
Yeah. Which is also not fair. Yeah.
A
Which is. And not historically true.
B
But it is funny because when we saw the video, one of our takes on it was like how out of character this was. And like she never, you know, sort
A
of, it's the confidence.
B
Lowers herself.
A
Confidence of a new mama.
B
It's not only that, it's like the hormones too. Like, it really will make you feel fed up. Yeah.
A
You're fed up.
B
So it, it makes it like it
A
also sort of like that's also kind of reductive to just be like she's a spiraling hormonal woman. That's like when people are like, she's on her period.
B
She probably was on her period. Like, no, no, you're so right. It's so reductive. Not me being reductive.
A
No. But it's not about the hormones for me. It's about the fact that like when just so many bigger things are happening, like when your life is changing and you're pregnant and you become a mother. It just like, puts things into perspective. Perspective and absolutely sort of like fearless.
B
How many weeks along do you think she is?
A
I think belly. I think she's just out of the first trimester because she also shared, like, on her Instagram yesterday, like, so happy. I can finally, like, I don't have to hide this belly anymore. So I feel like she was like, waiting for like, the first minute she could post. Yeah, that's just my take.
B
Oh. You know, and maybe she was gonna post it like a little while ago, but she, like, didn't think. I feel like maybe she's like 20 weeks.
A
Yeah.
B
Just because, like, her announcement maybe got pushed back a little bit perhaps.
A
But she would have been the one to push it back because she posted the video, right?
B
Yeah, but she didn't know it was going to turn into like, this whole Vanity Fair expose.
A
Yeah.
B
I also am curious, like, what this means for her content and her, like, branding because she's like, made a very intentional choice, like, I want to say like five or six years ago to be very Gen Z. Like, she's, you know, Gen Z language, Gen C influencers, Gen Z content.
A
Every like, like PR press article is like, you know, unwell, the voice of Gen Z network. Like, that's. They've led with Gen Z where they
B
do like Gen Z programming. So is she going to become like millennial mama making reels?
A
Making.
B
I'm so curious, like, will the reels. Do the reels begin now?
A
I don't know. I actually do think she's low key. Been like turning millennial with all this reality content.
B
Yeah.
A
It's millennial women who love reality tv.
B
And I, I don't think like Gen Z. Like, I don't think like Gen Z like being spoken to, like, by a Not Gen Z person.
A
No. No.
B
So maybe like, there was a brand shift and she was like, oh, maybe I can't have a baby.
A
Yeah. Also I'm cracking up because my agent texted me this morning being like, do you actually want to go on Pot Stirs?
B
Yes, she does. Yes, she does. You should.
A
Only if they film in South Florida. Only if they film in South Florida
B
and you don't have to live at the house. Like, you can go home at night.
A
Yeah, of course, of course. I don't know if it's going to be podsters. But, like, I'm now like, you're itching to do. I'm not itching. I'm curious about, like, one of these sorts of programs.
B
Like, it Would be so funny. What's the one that I can't even remember the name. Special forces.
A
Oh, my God.
B
You actually would win, though. You have insane mental fortitude. Like, people don't know that about you. Like, how tough you are up here. The physical stuff, like, would be hard
A
for you, but once I get into a physical shape.
B
Right.
A
I. I'm an athlete.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But where you really like what your strength over anyone else is up here, it's both.
A
It's mental and physical.
B
I love that for know I couldn't. And then I could, like, be what you did at Massing or, like, it's fun to watch someone else do the hard thing, you know? And like.
A
No, I don't think Special Forces. I think that's again, like, too involved.
B
Yeah.
A
But something like, very light, where it's like a bunch of, like, Internet personality. Could you imagine me and them?
B
I know. And then it's like sort of like a landline of, like, people we've talked about. Yeah.
A
Oh. And then I'll obviously be in the drama because they'll be like, you said
B
this about the episode.
A
I'm just gonna be like, yeah, I did.
B
Let's talk about it.
A
Let's not talk about it.
B
Yeah. That's my art. I can't be held responsible for anything I say when I'm creating art.
A
Yeah. But I think I would make, like, last lifetime. I'm very friendly, you know. Yeah. Like, I always cultivate, like, a great group of.
B
I would just hope that you would stay on long enough for people to really get to know you. Because, like we were saying before, like, you come off when people don't know you, they really think you're mean. Like, you just have that sort of, like, cold face. And so I would say I would hope that you would stay on for, like, the first three, four or five episodes so that everybody can get to know you. Like, you're the nerd who everybody realizes he takes off his glasses and he's handsome.
A
Yeah. Not only like, my fellow cast members, but also the audience, of course. You know, I think I would have a real arc with the audience.
B
Oh, I've chills just thinking about this show. Maybe we should just produce it ourselves.
A
Yeah, we should. Just to show everyone, like, maybe like
B
Bobby Flay, but you're the Bobby Flay and you just go up against challenges on other Internet stars.
A
No, we're like, we have to build, like, the house environment of a show that I could go on, you know?
B
Yeah. So everybody brings their kids.
A
I Actually think it could be Potters if it films in, like, say, Utah. And I could, like, rent a house.
B
Yeah.
A
And I can sleep with my family and then go and stir the pot.
B
Jackie on Pot Stir is when I
A
think it's like a Thanksgiving center show. I know.
B
I'll come too. I don't want to be on the show. But we can, like, all stay in Utah.
A
We could do live shows.
B
Pay the bills with live shows. I love that.
A
I love it. I need more information on Potter.
B
What'd you text your agent?
A
Yes. What did I say? I think maybe just, like, a bunch of LOLs. I don't know, like, nothing, actually. I think I said only if they're filming in South Florida, lol.
B
Or Utah.
A
Or if it's in Utah, get the deets.
B
Get the dates. Even though the last one was in Utah.
A
Well, she obviously likes you, and it
B
can't be a prerequisite to, like, you sleeping in the house. Like, no, no.
A
Or I could do, like, Jackson Hole, you know, of course.
B
Somewhere colic. Yeah.
A
Somewhere beautiful. Aspen, Montana.
B
Genove. Genovia.
A
Fine, I'll go to Courchevel.
B
Fine, we'll do it.
A
We'll do it. Twist my twist.
B
Mountains.
A
So funny.
B
So funny. Seriously crazy plot twists in this whole saga that she's pregnant. Like, seriously, mazel tov. I really hope that, like, she didn't let it get to her. I do feel like she's also very tough, like, in order to operate at the level that she's at. I know everybody, like, loves to like, make their think pieces on Tick Tock, but, like, sorry. To get to the level that she's at, like, you have to be a different kind of beast. And she definitely is. Like, she has what it takes. Because there are a lot of podcasts who even interview high level people and they're not like, like, operating at the level that she is. So I do think it takes, like, a very special type of person, and hopefully that's the same type of person who can just like, stay sound of mind and at peace in a first trimester cancellation.
A
Also, for the most part, if she
B
turned off her phone, it goes away.
A
It goes away. Except it was, like, on the news.
B
So it was. It was.
A
And turn off the local news, too.
B
And this big, alleged hit piece, which I imagine, like, her and her team and her lawyers are, like, involved in.
A
But this is bad for Vanity Fair because, like, they should have gotten it in before this because now you just look like an ass.
B
It's a destabilizer. Like, It's a neutralizer, this pregnancy.
A
Especially if the article, like, comes after their marriage a little bit, like.
B
Right.
A
And also tries to make the case that, like, there's trouble in paradise.
B
I think that the article, based on what I've heard, is really about him.
A
Yeah.
B
Not her, which isn't a good look for, like, everyone's feminist queen that, like, her husband's over here, like, destroying her empire and, like, stealing her money. But they haven't said anything yet, so I'm just making stuff up again.
A
And I just think that, like, the. The gap between, like, who she act, the life she actually lives, and the. The show, it is why I feel
B
like, like, really nobody knows her. I don't know her. Like, who is literally, who in the world is Alexandra Cooper? It's kind of a slay.
A
It's kind of. It's kind of nice.
B
She has shalom bite, for sure. Well, I don't know about, like, recently,
A
but, like, no, no, but, like, it is nice to not. To not have the whole world know all your business.
B
Yeah, agreed.
A
And if you're able to, like, cultivate an audience and be a successful and,
B
like, earn a living doing content while
A
sharing, Nobody knows nothing about you.
B
It's a slay. I agree. You have. You have privacy and, like.
A
Okay, are you ready for our next story?
B
Yeah.
A
Some more feud news. Dina Manzo's daughter is fighting with Bethany Frankel.
B
This is so crazy.
A
Calling her a weirdo for failing to credit her shoe business. So Dina Manzo's daughter.
B
I saw the video, and I didn't know it was Dina Manzo's daughter.
A
I saw the video knowing, like, I saw it with the context of Dina Manzo's daughter.
B
It doesn't really change anything, the fact that she's her daughter. No, I mean, it's just, you should,
A
like, yeah, it doesn't change that much, but it's like, Like, I don't know. I guess it's just your main.
B
For the story.
A
Dina Manzo's daughter from the Real Housewives of New Jersey has a shoe company.
B
It's called New Shoes.
A
She posted a video calling Bethany Frankel a weirdo, citing the fact that she sent Bethany Frankel some of her shoes a while ago because she sent a
B
screenshot of the message, and she was like, really? Like, you could see, like, very eager, like, hey, can I send you shoes? And, like, following up a million times. And she. Bethany did accept the shoes.
A
Bethany accepted the shoes. Then this week, doing press for sorts illustrated. Bethany wore a very cute outfit made A very cute video to, like, a Jessie J song. And she's wearing the shoes. And I guess the video, like, did really well for Bethany. And people asked, like, where are the shoes from? And Bethany posted a screenshot of the shoes and said, here's where you can find a similar pair with a link. So Dina Manzo's daughter, like, made a video being like, bethenny Frankel is a weirdo. Not only, like, did we send her shoes and she wears them and she loves them, but she posted a link, an affiliate link. So she's making money off the link to a dupe of the shoe. So someone who's, like, essentially, like, knocking off her brand.
B
So because the shoes were sold out.
A
Well, so she makes this video, like, talking like, a lot of about her and how she's like, a bad person because she linked the dupe shoes. And I was like, well, damn. Well, like, Bethany, that is a weird thing to do.
B
Bethany had also worn the shoes a year ago before this. And I guess, like, didn't tag, but didn't do, like, an outfit reveal or anything. She just wore them and didn't tag. Which, like, is really not a crime. You send someone shoes and, like, you have to sort of when you're doing gifting, like, you have to make peace with the fact that, like, you're giving something for free. And if they get it and they post it, that's great. But if not, you can't, can't. You can't go into it having such high expectations.
A
Where are the shoes? And not tag is not a big deal at all. The. The damning thing was that she had posted, like, an affiliate link to a dupe of the shoe. So I was like, oh, that's like, very weird. What does Bethany have to say about this? So Bethany comes on and makes a video just being like, well, damn, you played yourself because the shoes were sold out. My audience doesn't like when I click to something that they can't buy. So I posted a. A similar pair and I had posted, made a video. It's in my drafts of my outfit of the day with all the details. And if you had just. I would have posted that video and you would have gotten a boom. But instead you played the short game and you've pissed me off and you've missed out on what could have been. And I was like, well, damn. And she eventually did post the video that she had made that day. So, like, there was real. It was real. She literally took off the shoe to read the name of the brand and shared it with her audience of what the shoes were. And now, of course, there's beef between the two.
B
And the Internet, like, loves to hate Bethany. And the Internet loves, like, a loser victim. So this girl who got, like, her
A
business own, she also really.
B
She opened her shoes now for pre order. Like, now everyone's like, blowing up her business. So, like, this is. This is like, Internet. Like, you make yourself a victim and like, everybody loves you when actually, like, yeah, Bethany's explanation of it, like, made a lot of sense.
A
Would you want her to do link sold out shoes?
B
Right. And if you just had waited, like, she. She did kind of slay because she had the video now someone could say, like, she put the clothes back on. And it was so clearly the same stoop where she made the Jesse J. Video.
A
Yes, for sure. And yeah, she's not gonna link. I guess she could have said these are new shoes, but here's a similar pair. But that's, like, such a minor detail.
B
This is also dupe culture. Like, the Internet dupe, like, Pipeline is insane. People love dupes.
A
When she goes at the end that she was like, you know, that she would do this to, like, a small business, a woman owned business. Like, shut up.
B
Right?
A
She could do it if it was a man owned the business.
B
Correct.
A
Could you do it better? Man on the business, Then it's okay.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, irrelevant.
B
Agreed.
A
So honestly, I was actually, like, ready to be like, oh, Bethany's gonna have to apologize. Like, this is so awkward. And then I saw Bethany's video. I was like, yeah, yeah.
B
And she, like, Bethany was coming at it, like, giving, you know, business advice to a girl who seriously did not want to hear it, but basically being like, yeah, you shot yourself in the foot by, like, making this whole big spectacle. But you know what? In the end of the day, while Bethany's business sense is like, very og business, like, Internet drama, people love to side. They love to hate Bethany.
A
They.
B
They love decided, like, a small female business owner who was, you know, so she's, I'm sure, raking it. And now she put this. The shoes have been sold out. So, like, there was nothing to sell. But now they're up for pre order and everyone's, you know, to stick it to Bethany.
A
Great.
B
Yeah, great.
A
Stick it to Bethany. I'm gonna spend a couple hundred dollars on shoes.
B
Right.
A
Also, that's just like a moment, you know, like, to have a viral moment with your product is really amazing. But that doesn't. That's not a brand. It does seem like I didn't see her other shoes, but those shoes are really cute. So, yes, I think if she has, like, a great business, this could be like a great, great beginning of her business. But it's not like, you know, this, it will be a great moment, but there you have to build on that momentum.
B
Yeah.
A
You know?
B
Yeah. It was a crazy story. And when I found out it was Dina Manzo's daughter, I didn't recognize her. Her name is Lexi. Right. I mean, I remember from the early season, she looks so different. I, I had no idea. It came up on my, I saw this whole thing happen naturally. It came up on my for you page. She opens her video. Bethany Frankel is a weirdo. And I was like, oh, I wonder why I'm sad. And I had no idea that it was her. Her.
A
And also, I feel like in business, even if Bethany, I've never posted the second video in business, like, these are like shitty things that happen sometimes along the way that you're like, well, damn, that didn't go our way. And damn, we got a little bit screwed here and there. Now with like, the Internet, you can blow up every slight and, like, make a moment of it. But, like, these things happen.
B
Not only that, but nothing happened. Like, look, when you, when you are a brand selling, sending clothing to a celebrity, what is your biggest hope? That they wear them. She's literally at the biggest event of the weekend besides their media. By night, she's at Sports Illustrated. She's being paparazzi, Holds up the picture. Picture. Literally wearing your shoes. What more could you want? And you told us now this is the second time she's worn them. So she did exactly what you wanted, wanted her to wear them. You also wanted her to post them. But, like, it's honestly giving Rosie and Kelsey the obsession with posting. No, I get it. No, it's like a small brand. When you send somebody gifting, like, your hope and dream and wish upon a star is that they blow it up and post a million things. But you have to be okay with you voluntarily asking us. This happens all the time. I remember. I, like, I'm always saying, like, I sent this influencer and it's like you're begging someone to send them products they let you send. Sometimes they'll blow it up, wear it all the time. They love it so much. Sometimes they don't like it and never wear it. And sometimes it's something like this where, like, they wear it and they don't blow it up in the way that you wanted them to. But, like, the Expectation that you're just sending product to somebody who would probably get paid by a shoe brand. A hundred thousand dollars for a tick tock or two. Like she wore them and she wore them to a major event. What more do you want?
A
Yeah, I guess like the small slight was posting the dupe.
B
Right, but dupe culture, like we can
A
get into dupe culture with an affiliate link. But that was only because they were sold out. Out. So what would you have liked her to post?
B
Just like tagging that they were. But she made the video saying that they were new. She hadn't posted it yet.
A
Yeah. So I think all in all, yeah, she'll have a great moment. I'm sure she has no regrets about what she did. But big picture, I don't think this was the move.
B
No. And I don't think Bethany's now going to be like working with a lot of small businesses. Like with tick tock followings.
A
Yeah. No, I mean, I don't know.
B
I think everyone makes a video about something. Like everyone's trying to like make their moment on someone else's thing. Like, like.
A
Yeah. But at the end of the day like we're still talking about Bethany, so. Thanks.
B
We are always talking about Bethany.
A
Yeah. Everything she does. She can't wear a pair of shoes and post a lang.
B
Correct. She looked great.
A
Yeah, she did look great. Okay, next story. Are you ready? Double date news. Jacob Elordi and Kendall General date.
B
I heard Justin and Haley were there
A
with Kylie and Timothy and allegedly Justin and Haley.
B
That's what Dumoximo said.
A
Okay, well that makes it. But they weren't in the car.
B
I guess like Kylie and Kendall maybe are going to like Hidden Hills or like family owned car. Yeah.
A
Well, if it was just the four of them obsessed.
B
We were just talking about like do you think that Jacob Elordi and Timothy Chalamet like, like the potential brother in law or do they beef with one another? Because they probably like kill each other for roles.
A
I think they're different enough. And again, I think like Timothy is overly confident in his crap. Jacob definitely like works on it in the mirror with mantras.
B
Yeah. Hi Timothy, Nice to meet you. Hi Timothy. How was your day?
A
I'm really happy for you, Timothy.
B
Timothy, you look great in orange. Timothy, I loved you in Marty Supreme. But go next.
A
I think Timothy can like, you know, be friends with him and I think this is cute. And I also, I just want to say I really like Kendall and Jacob Elordi.
B
Like. Yeah, I mean it's like dating your Twin brother.
A
But yeah, they went to Hawaii. So like they're actually dating. And I would love to see Kenny,
B
you know, settle down. Yeah, I just don't get the vibe that like Jacob's in his settling down era. Even though every time I watch an interview of his, he's like extremely well adjusted. He like, is not a famed, like, whore. He brings his mom everywhere. Like, I get the vibe loves baseball, his friends and his mom. Yeah, I just get the vibe that he's like ready to settle down. Even though nothing he does gives me that.
A
And I don't know if she is like, I know she's not like made any sort of like proclamation that like, she feels differently.
B
Right.
A
About life.
B
Well, cute double date.
A
Super cute.
B
Speaking of like people who have dated Kendall Jenner, can we talk about Harry Styles really quickly?
A
Sure.
B
I don't know if you saw over the weekend because it. I feel like it largely happened on Tick Tock. It was opening night of his.
A
Liz, what's is keeping me abreast of
B
his opening night of his weekend? Opening weekend of his tour, which I guess like up until recently has been
A
really heavily criticized for its pricing by Ticketmaster, by resale.
B
I don't know, I can't get into it, like by the fans. The fans are upset.
A
But like, is Harry actually making the money?
B
Like, what's dynamic pricing which people hate. He's playing this huge arenas. And so there was a lot of expectations were high because if you're going to charge at most. And I feel like with the Errors tour, like every person who said that they had to like sell, you know, take their kid out of college for a semester just to pay for tickets, didn't regret it. Like after the show they were like, you know what? I got a four hour show I feel good about. There really wasn't a lot of backlash and she did everything she could to keep the prices down, but like with scalpers and she didn't do dynamic pricing. So the expectations were high for Harry and opening weekend was just like kind of a flop according to people who were there. Like, I didn't go and I didn't watch any of the footage, but the criticism I'm seeing for people who were there was like, first of all, it was completely bright in the stadium, which was just like a weird vibe. This stage is the biggest thing you've ever seen. He doesn't really sing a lot of his like big notes. He's like not singing well. He has the wired microphone running around this like big stage. Like the criticisms Were. Were there. And I just feel like nobody, like kind of wants to hear it. But we have been talking for, you know, quite a few weeks and months that like this most recent drop of his and we do always compare it to like the other pop girlies. And I'm not like, glad he's getting criticism, but like, if this was a female who like was charging thousands of tickets and like gave a very mid performance where like they're not even singing the notes to their own songs, like, we would all be talking about it. So we have to talk about it.
A
It's equality.
B
Yeah. It's. It's quality. Like, and I think that the era tour is a really good comparison because he's playing really huge venues. He's not really delivering.
A
Interesting.
B
It's been an interesting weekend for her Styles.
A
I saw a couple of unfortunate clips that like, I, I don't want to like, judge the whole show.
B
I know because there used to be like, clips of that people would post of Taylor being like, this is your queen and it's her dancing.
A
And also like, people would post, post, used to post. Like, it's just about the context. They used to post clips of Harry Styles just standing there and be like, oh my God, it's amazing. Here he is again standing there and it's no longer amazing. So I'm not like, I. You don't want to just take, take a snapshot. But I guess, yeah, the discourse isn't super positive. But he did just have a baby and he's in his new mama era,
B
so I think he didn't have a
A
baby, so I think he's doing what he can.
B
No, that's what we would say about a woman. No, but like, what's his excuse? He's engaged.
A
He's in his new mama era.
B
But maybe stress from the wedding planning.
A
No, I don't know what his excuse is. Why he would have lost his voice. Yeah.
B
Like not even singing. That's the weird part. Like a lot of times you can criticize, whatever. You don't like the outfits.
A
But like, if they. Why doesn't. Why does he keep his shirt on? You know, like, why does.
B
That would be an easy fix.
A
Just take your shirt off.
B
Yeah. Or your pants. Like, seriously, everyone would be really happy.
A
Wasn't he always shirtless before?
B
I think like his shtick is just like a little over.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, like always with the male dancers and sexy male. And it's like, well, all you've ever done is date like the most beautiful women in the world. So like, not to be. Not to be woke. But, like, it's giving queer baiting.
A
Yeah.
B
And so I feel like a lot of his shtick is also. It's like, culture is, like, we're not really into the woke stuff. Like, people are, like, moving on a little bit.
A
Like, so you don't think it would be, like, help if he put on a dress?
B
I don't know. People do love when he wears a dress, and it gets people talking. That's the thing.
A
Yeah.
B
I feel like the thing with Harry Styles is, like, no one's talking. Like, we don't really care. Like, the album stunk and, like, people are not living for him and his engagement. Like, five years ago, not even three years ago, if you told me Harry Styles got engaged, like, the world would have been turned upside down. Nobody cares. I kind of care. I feel like I care more than other people.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I don't know why. He's just, like, not making an impact.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's not like he's been eclipsed. Like, who's, like, the new male pop star? No one.
A
Like, one. But if you think about, like, the males who are having a moment right now would be, like, somber and role model, and it's just, like, a different vibe.
B
Yeah, it's a different vibe.
A
And the vibe that he chose for this era was, like, 80s businessman. Yes.
B
It's giving. 80s businessman.
A
Yes. And that's not, like, you know what the people. The moment right now. He's not meeting the moment.
B
Yeah, it's. It's. It's.
A
And I mean, even aging Benson is, like, almost gonna, like, break his neck throwing flips.
B
But Benson is doing, like, OG Harry stuff because there are a lot of comparisons, which is very, like, Freddie Mercury coded. And it's working for Benson.
A
Right. But Benson is doing more than Harry, you know?
B
Yes, yes.
A
Harry's doing the least.
B
Yeah, yeah. No, it's.
A
It's just been interesting. Benson's throwing tricks at every show.
B
Flips and schmips and handsprings.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, okay, are you ready for our next story?
B
If it's our next story that's brought to you by ZBiotics, which is a company I'm, like, personally really invested in. Not in a financial way, but, like, in an emotional way.
A

A
Thank you. You're welcome to plan.
B
You're welcome. How did everybody like my paperwork today?
A
We liked it.
B
Yeah, it was good.
A
Thank you, Dan.
B
I feel like if you're listening as an audio, you probably heard, like, shuffling. That was me just shuffling my papers.
A
Classic papers.
B
Classic. Damn.
A
Remember when we were at Dear Media and we did the photo booth for Face Foundry and we sent the photos to my husband's email.
B
Oh, yeah. Because it was like a touchscreen. I had to write like, Claudia. Like. So Jackie said her husband's email. So simple.
A
It really was five. And so he just texted us the photos. Yeah, one. Like, they're actually kind. There's one that's really cute.
B
I don't know. I was like, looking like big face.
A
No, but it's like a black and white photo booth. It's like parge. But it was just funny. I forgot that we did that. And I'm cute.
B
Oh, and it's a little gif.
A
You know, like, Monday morning he got on his work email.
B
I'm seriously cracking up.
A
Like, you're thinking of him. Like, imagine such a treasure.
B
I mean, it is. It was a spritz event. Like, spritz was served. Oh, big spritz news coming tomorrow. And I feel like we've really undersold, like, what we. We. What we created.
A
Yeah, we've created something amazing.
B
Kind of like an industry leading. It's gonna, like, kind of change, like the whole alcohol game. I know it sounds crazy. I'm not being drama, but, like, watch his space. Watch the space and check the spritz. Instagram tomorrow. Next up, we filmed a commercial at Jackie's house. Like. Yeah, we did an actual commercial.
A
Yeah, we did. Next up, Gucci show making news. I would say the lead story. Tom Brady making his catwalk debut at the Gucci show.
B
Oh, I'm sorry. You know, just speaking about Gucci and Demna reminded me of, like, an inappropriate joke about children I wanted to bring up. Okay, I hate to be like, woke mama do it. But there was a joke. I watched snl. You know, they do once a year where we can update Michael and it's actually so funny. I always watch them. I don't really love snl, but at the end of every season, we can update the two co host. Who are Michael Che and Colin Jost. They write jokes for one another and they have to. They have to read them and they don't get to see them before. So Michael writes jokes for Colin. They're always like really racist. And Colin writes jokes for me and they're always like sexually inappropriate. And one of the jokes like actually wasn't funny. Like it really made me sick and I'm not seeing enough hate. No. Oh, Michael Jackson jokes. I'm sorry. Like, they are funny. Okay, so Colin. Colin wrote this for Michael Che. And it was like, new reports say that like drinking grape juice is like 50% more likely to give you an erect penis or whatever. Which makes sense because all my boyfriends love grape juice. And they show a picture of like an actual 6 year old with the juice box. Oh no. Cuz all my boyfriends are wrecked.
A
Yeah.
B
What? Yeah. You want me to find it? No, it was insane. I was like, I was enjoying up until then. I'm like, oh, haha. And then I was like, what? I swear it was really yucky. Like talking about a child and saying erect. Like, seriously, are people okay? Hollywood is never beating the pedophilia allegations. Like, I'm sorry. Every time they like start to call Demna, Like, I'm sorry, it's weird.
A
But they are pedophile files.
B
I know.
A
In Hollywood.
B
I know.
A
So it's like they can't beat them because they are them.
B
And like, where is like the, you know that like mother's group, like Mothers Against Truck Driving and there's like a mother's group for tv.
A
Yeah.
B
They need to go after that. Like Colin Jose. I'm sorry. You're disgusting for that.
A
Yeah.
B
And I was just starting to really like Colin Jost. He was on new heights, like being hilarious. Yucky. Like seriously yucky. Stop making jokes about kids. Like, seriously, if you can't be funny without talking about pedophilia, like, maybe you're just not funny.
A
Yeah. Unless you want to make jokes about the pedophiles and make fun of the pedophile.
B
I said pedophilia. Yeah, not pedophile Hills.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
That is Michael Jackson. Like I said, I'm always down for a Michael Jackson joke.
A
Okay, well, Gucci show and everyone was there, but now like, Demna is Gucci. I know.
B
I was like, why is everyone going Gucci? And it's because of Balenciaga. And you know what? Like, maybe everyone will stop because. Well, I don't think it was Demna who was like giving the weird child vibes.
A
I think he's amongst.
B
Oh, really?
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
I thought it was like, yeah, maybe. Okay, so yeah, like.
A
And I think Then people started looking into Demna, and they didn't like what they.
B
Oh.
A
Oh. So then, like, Demna went to Gucci. Now everyone's at Gucci, and that's not good.
B
Yeah. Everyone was at Gucci. Tom Brady, Alex Earl, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton. She walks.
A
And, like, Alex Earl gets invited to a Gucci event. Like, I don't expect.
B
I don't blame her, though.
A
Like, and she's just, like, operating at such an A list level.
B
One thing about me, I never blame Alex Earl for anything.
A
No. But there are some people who have choices.
B
Yeah.
A
And they choose to do this.
B
Yeah. And also, like, randomly, like, Tom Brady, like, you aren't a model. You aren't a fashionista. I saw him, like, mean mug, and he's like. He's seriously a stereotype. He's Ben Stiller.
A
Zoolander. Yeah.
B
He's like this. He's literally doing. He watched the Zoolander. Like, he was giving Blue Steel deal in, like, the Zoolander leather outfit. He looked, like, so silly. He seriously has, like, no shame.
A
Yeah.
B
I'm such a Tom Brady hater.
A
Yeah. Paris Hilton also walked the show in a wig.
B
In a Amanda Batula wig.
A
Yeah. Yeah. She also has choices, you know.
B
Yeah, absolutely.
A
Kim has choices.
B
She has less choices than others, but she has choices.
A
And Tom Brady has choices.
B
Yeah. It was in the middle of Times
A
Square, and these are the choices that they made.
B
Yeah. And it's crazy because, like, Alex Earl, and I'm sure she just, like, wears what she's told to wear, but she was, like, literally wearing, like, an actual, like, Fashion Nova gray bodycon dress. It's like, that's Gucci. You know, that dress is, like, probably $2,000.
A
But she doesn't have choices.
B
No, no, I. I don't. I never blame Alex Earl. You guys know that, like, she's just, like, happy to be there.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, honored.
A
Honored.
B
Yeah.
A
And then, like, and she'll get to
B
a place where, like, she has choices, and I know she'll make the right ones. I know her dad will make the right one.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But until she has to do these things to get.
B
Of course.
A
Of course. Choices.
B
Of course.
A
So. Yeah. Yeah. Gucci.
B
Gucci.
A
Our fifth and final story. A little baby mama drama.
B
Oh, my God.
A
And Pete Davidson are, like, really, you know, be publicly. So Elsie Hewitt called out Pete Davidson after their split as a source refutes her claim that he doesn't support their daughter. So Elsie Hewitt started responding to comments.
B
She made a video on TikTok just Talking about how she's, like, doing this alone and she still has to work, and she's just, like, sort of, like, rattling off sort of motherhood musings, which would have been relatable, but people are also like, your baby daddy is a famous person, so, like, why are you struggling?
A
Like.
B
And so the comments were like, I hope this doesn't mean you're doing this alone financially, too. And she was like, yep. She's since deleted the comments, confirming that, like, Pete is a deadbeat financially, emotionally. Pete also then via a rep, said that this is not true. He's covering, actually, all of the baby's costs.
A
Yeah.
B
So I don't know what to believe. So I'm gonna give two responses. Okay, here's my response. If Pete Davidson is a deadbeat, feed. You're literally disgusting, and I hate you. Shame on you. And I think you're one of the lowest levels of human beings, and, like, you should actually change everything about yourself. I think you're disgusting.
A
I just want to say, I just. Because I have, like, a hard time believing when people can be so horrible, especially if they've not, like, shown evil. If. If they've not shown, like, evil, horrible behavior. I don't think he's gonna be, like, dad of the year, partner of the year, sure. But, like, sending a zell to go. Like, to go from being excited about the birth of your child to, like, leaving the mother of your child and your child. Child financially stranded when you are of means. Like, I. I can't believe I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not doing evil, that you're not that horrible. Okay, so I actually don't believe that it's that. Yeah, I don't believe it.
B
Oh, okay.
A
Like, I'm in dis.
B
So you're doubting postpartum women.
A
No, I think it's, like, you know, a difference of language and stuff. Plus, she deleted the comments.
B
Yeah, right.
A
She also could be, like, refusing to accept his help because she's so mad at him.
B
Right. For whatever he did.
A
And so she's like, I'm gonna do this. By yourself? Like, by myself. You. I don't want anything from you. I can do it by myself.
B
I do want to say, like, I. Whether or not this is true, I blame Pete Davidson wholeheartedly for everything. Like, this is a postpartum woman. Like, just do whatever she says. Like, seriously, give her money. Don't give her money. Like, do whatever she says. And the disillusion of their relationship. Like, I'M sorry. It is disgraceful when you have a four month old. And I'm just like, I, I, I'm mad at both of them, but like, I can't be mad at her. She's postpartum. Like, do whatever you want.
A
Yeah, I saw a clip especially because I don't know what happened between them. Like what, what he was doing, like, what it was, maybe he was around and wanting to be around, but it was not a good, not a good scene. You know, I saw a clip of them having said that, like on their first date. Like she said, like, you're gonna be the father of my children.
B
I hate like when people, people in Hollywood, it's just like they're just not real people. Like, yeah, saying that we should talk about them as much as we do. Like, we should really change subjects.
A
Like, no, they're insane. But like, so that part came true. Yeah, but so did they also like, not.
B
What are you not saying?
A
No. Like, I just don't understand. And also, is there gonna be more kids?
B
Like, oh God, no, please.
A
Like, I don't know, I don't, I just don't understand this situation. Cuz they seem so happy and they were excited about this and excited about. And I was excited and even though it's hard, you know, it's very hard.
B
Maybe it's just like so much harder than they thought it would be. Like, I don't know what.
A
But then it's harder to do it alone, of course.
B
And I don't know what could have happened between two people, famous or not, like, who were like in love up until recently. What could have happened to make you separate when you have a four month old?
A
Like, like, but then also, and I'm, I give a postpartum new mama crazy. But then she posted on her Instagram
B
story like, yeah, this was weird.
A
Trying to find a nanny, mother's helper assistant type on her Instagram through Instagram, wants people to reach out to her email address to apply to be her nanny.
B
And I just want to be clear that like a nanny, a mother's helper and assistant are three different people. Like, you can't have an assistant who's also a nanny. Like, that's not the same.
A
No.
B
Are you looking for a work assistant?
A
Are you looking for someone to help with the baby or to help you?
B
You. Are you looking for a nurse? Yeah, like, what are you looking for?
A
Yeah, those are two separate things.
B
Yeah. And you're not gonna find it on Instagram.
A
No posting to for that on Instagram. Is the worst with your child.
B
You're like a stranger from the Internet.
A
Come help with, like, your famous baby.
B
Yeah, right, right.
A
Is the worst idea I've ever heard.
B
Ever. Like, and this is where, like, where you're a celebrity, you have access to these, like, staffing companies and agencies who can help you find a nanny. So, like, I don't know, you're. It is such a. What she is accusing him of is, like, so evil that. Yes, it's not congress. He's not the best guy ever, but he's, as far as we know, not an evil person. So to leave your baby mama when you are. Yeah, like you said of me, and high and dry with no money, no help, no food. Thank God she has a Bobby partnership. Hopefully they're setting her formula. You know, like, and also, like, who is she before this? Does she. Is she Nepo?
A
She dating before this?
B
She did like, Seth Rogen or something. She dated someone like. Like Rando.
A
Yeah. Someone big. And what was she. How did she meet these guys? Because was she famous?
B
I think she's like Nepo. She dated Jason Sudeikis and Betty Blanco and Ryan Phillippe.
A
Okay.
B
And let me just Google Elsie Hewitt job. Like, what does she do?
A
I feel like she might be a model or. She's a model, an actress or an influencer.
B
She's a model. Actress. She's a model, actress and social media influencer. She's well known for her roles in industry and Dave.
A
All right, so by the way, and those are.
B
And major campaigns with guests. Yes, that's what she's known for. I think she was discovered in, like, a guest campaign.
A
Okay, cool.
B
And then she was named Playboy's Miss June in 2017.
A
Wait, here's a little video coming up. Who is Helsie Hewitt? Three things to know. One, she shares a daughter with ex boyfriend Pete Davidson. Okay, next, it's filled with, like, quotes. Hold on. It's little package People magazine made. She's a model and actress. She moved to LA at age 10. She modeled for brands like Guests and was Playboy, so. Yes, exactly like you said.
B
Thank you so much. Yes. They obviously was in a 2018. Yes.
A
Series called Turnt. Also, number three, she's a foodie.
B
Elsie eats. Yeah, yeah.
A
She likes food that's unique.
B
Yeah. A lot of her content link is giving manic, but postpartum is sort of a manic time. And I just.
A
And the Internet responds to mania.
B
Yeah, they do. And they encourage it too. They enable it. So I just really hope she's doing well and I hope she finds a nanny or a nurse or whatever. And I hope Pete comes through with, like, a bag of money.
A
Yeah, just, like, give money.
B
Give money. Like, if you can't give your heart, you can't give your time, you can't give your energy. You just give money.
A
I just want to say back to Kelsey. Back to Kelsey, because when she was saying Kelsey from Real Housewives of I'm, like, her name is Elsie Real Houses of Rhode island. How her man is, like, paying for her, like, rent and, like, helping her with, like, utilities. He's. Even though she's, like, broken up with him and moved out and, like, two years ago, garnishing him on television and, like, has a new.
B
She said on Watch Evans Live. He loves the show so much, and he wishes that he. Obviously he. Andy said he gave the production zero approvals on using his photo, his name, anything. But Kelsey says he loves the show now.
A
That's so cute. I just want to say, like, she's really got it made in the shade for herself. Like, and the fact that she's got this guy, like, paying her bills after they broke up, and she said, like, if we were married 10 years, I'd have something. So, like, why not get a little something? Even though I've just been the girlfriend. I just. And the fact that, like, she's literally in the show having a boyfriend, like, while she has a boyfriend, she's, like, considering her options, like, under his roof. I just.
B
But she's not. And she never was. Like, this is all fake and she's a concubine.
A
Because I would be, like, worried you'd get kicked out of the house for, like, being with another guy at the polo match. Yeah, but she really. She must be so fabulous that her boy, her OG boyfriend, like, doesn't. You know, he just wants to help her and support her and, like, love her.
B
Is concubine like a slur?
A
I think it's like.
B
Yeah, no, I know what it means.
A
Like, I think it's like, the word. Yeah, Okay.
B
I mean, if the shoe fits. Like. And shout out to Margaret Joseph for teaching me that word. Who does she call a concubine? Jennifer Aiden.
A
Oh, yeah, but that was a stretch.
B
Jennifer Aiden has six children with the man. So, like, oh, wait, she doesn't work. Like, that's fine. I kind of feel like Kelsey's sort of textbook.
A
Yeah, no, sure. Maybe she's a concubine.
B
I just feel like that word.
A
And you say she doesn't have a job.
B
That's the definition of a concubine.
A
That's her job. Yeah, that's her job. But I also want to know, like, what was she doing in that house for eight years without a job?
B
Well, she was really technically in it for four years. Because the other, like, 50. Of the time.
A
No, no, the 50. But she was still in the house.
B
Yeah, but she was in the house with the owner of the house and, like, living a full life.
A
I understand. No, with the 50 when he was there. I understand what you're doing.
B
Yeah.
A
You are working.
B
So the cumulative four years, like, what was she doing living there alone? Yeah. What.
A
How is she feeling? Her date days.
B
I mean, it definitely gets lonely in the palace.
A
Like, she wasn't on the show. She wasn't running a business. She wasn't doing anything. Like, what was she doing?
B
And that was probably her biggest mistake was, like, not using those eight years to, like, build something that she could walk away with.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, you literally had eight years, like,
A
squirreling away a little money.
B
I don't get the sense that she was.
A
You don't think she was squirreling. No, I hope that she was, but it seems like money just, you know, people just give her money.
B
Yeah. She's just one of those girls, like, where it appears like, I wish I had a dollar
A
because I was worried, of course, like, you have to leave the mansion. I'm gonna have to get, like, a condo or something. A job and how you can. And she's just like, he's giving her money.
B
Yeah.
A
And I just think it takes a special kind of woman to get that.
B
You're so wrapped up in the pretty privilege. Like, it's insane.
A
No, I think. I think she's one of the best to do it, to be beautiful. Yeah. Like, some people, like, have a rich boyfriend, sugar daddy, and the minute they disrespect them, they're out on there.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like. Like, literally, some people, their husbands, like, Lisa Hoxie, and she gets thrown out. Out. She has two kids with the man.
A
Alicia's not even on the deeds for her house. That's really crazy that she has, like. And so Kelsey really got herself set up nicely.
B
Yes, yes.
A
So credit to her.
B
You're so toxic. Why?
A
Why? I hate disagreeing with you.
B
Like, I just hate it.
A
No, and your criticisms are very valid.
B
I know.
A
But I want to focus on the positive.
B
I don't want to fight.
A
No, I don't want to fight either, but I can't believe you like Rosie.
B
No, I. I know, because it's incongruous with me. She's so crazy weird, like, But I just feel like that's how right she is and that's how mean everyone's being here.
A
Okay. Even though I feel like she's not wrong in this situation, I don't think she's so right. I think because also, like, what if she is not being hasn't been genuine this entire time?
B
Well, I need that to be proven. I need her. Like, I need the blueprints to the house. Like, I need someone to be like, showing me. Like, you can't just say she's lying about adding 5,000 square feet. And then Kelsey was like, it's less than that. It's like, okay, you don't even have a house.
A
Yeah. But like, if she's going around saying like, 8,000 square feet. 8,000 square feet. And it's not like, well, what is it? Yeah.
B
And now, by the way, I hope she's updated her plans because it has to be, of course. Like, seriously, just put like a garage in.
A
Yeah.
B
Get it done.
A
A big porch.
B
Yeah. This is giving real houses of Atlanta when they were all buying new houses and like lying to each other about like, more Manor, Chateau Charay about, like, they didn't have baseboards. Like, that was seriously so funny. This is what it's giving that's funny. Yeah.
A
Well, there you go. That's your show.

Love ya. Bye.
On this lively Monday episode, Jackie and Claudia reunite in-studio after a brief trip to New York and a successful appearance at "Dear Media by Night." The main themes are "pretty privilege" and "pregnant privilege," both as social concepts discussed through reality TV recaps (notably Real Housewives of Rhode Island) and breaking celebrity news (Alex Cooper’s pregnancy announcement). The hosts’ trademark humor, strong opinions, and banter keep things light even during heated debates about reality stars, influencer feuds, and pop culture headlines.
On Pretty Privilege:
“You’re so wrapped up in the pretty privilege, it’s insane.” ([67:09] - Claudia)
On Pregnancy as Conflict Immunity:
“I also saw a video today that was like, she’s just won the battle—now it’s kind of case closed. You’re not going to go after a pregnant woman.” ([25:22] - Jackie)
Meta Commentary:
“It’s honestly giving Rosie and Kelsey, the obsession with posting… It’s like, when you send gifting, you hope and dream they blow it up… but you have to be okay.” ([39:07] - Claudia & Jackie)
On Reality TV Evolution:
“This is not an affluent group... Liz has a nice house and that’s it. They’re all just regular women, and they do well.” ([04:18] - Claudia)
This episode is a perfect blend of quick-witted commentary, pop culture breakdowns, and the Oshry sisters’ unique takes on privilege—pretty, pregnant, or otherwise. Reality TV fans, influencer-watchers, and anyone interested in modern dynamics of fame and femininity will find plenty to chew on.
