She has a podcast called Story Time with the Second Lady. It is a reading of children's books with prominent people such as myself. And she asked me to come on to talk about the camper and the counselor and you guys. It was the honor of a lifetime.

I also vlogged, like, my journey to finding an outfit. Six months. Six months postpartum.

I know. Well, I. It's actually funny story because I stayed at a hotel, so the morning of, like, I wanted my eggs and my coffee, and I ordered a continental breakfast with a coffee.

No, continental breakfast is probably like a pastry basket, right?

Yeah. And, like, fruit, and there were no eggs. Heaven And I had to like call it and request the eggs. So.

So was it just on the menu it said continental breakfast?

No, I just like assume. I assumed and I made an arse.

And you know what happens when you assume?

You make an arse out of you and me. And so what is it actually called when you want, like the full breakfast?

Oh, it's hide like the eggs, please.

No, but I want eggs and toast and fruit. I want.

You have to order eggs. Like eggs is an entree.

It's not part of like a larger breakfast motif.

No, I think that the art of hotel breakfast is completely lost.

It might be like called a western breakfast.

Or you have to go down to the buffet. I love.

I couldn't go down to the breakfast. Getting my hair and makeup done.

I love breakfast buffet. Like at a hotel. Such a special time.

But why you don't even like breakfast?

Oh my God. No, it's just like, first of all, like, everyone's in a good mood because it's like we're all on vacation and it's like there's waffles and pancakes and fruit and like, I like that, bagels. And it's just like, it's all very exciting that you can like eat whatever you want. You know, you don't get. I don't get a lot of a phase in my day to day. It's very much a vacation thing.

lifetime that you like should turn down. Yeah, we. I haven't been there this summer, but last summer when we were there, we were all eating and Ben starts filming me and then my agent's calling me and I'm like, what is going on? Like, I was so confused. And I just remember like when he told me, he's like, you're gonna be on the next season of the Mad Singer. And I was like, well, no, I'm not, because I'm not doing that. And like I. That was such a lesson, like listening to your gut. I was very triggered at the restaurant, but thankfully I had some chicken fingers and I felt better.

Yeah, of course we did. We had such a good time.

That's so cute. Like first of all, that's never happened and it's, you know, obviously not to make everything about us, but it does feel good to sort of like have your music choices validated when you just get told all the time, like, country music sucks. And Ella Langley, Morgan Wallen. It's funny, Taylor Swift is on there with her Toy Story song, which I guess is country, but she's not really a country artist. Who are the others?

Oh, you know what? I have something to say about Sale Lefty. Do you know about her?

I do know. You're not going to say something negative. Oh, she's a generational talent.

No, she's so cute and I've been like watching her whole rise on Tick Tock. Her music is so good. She happens to have like a very wealthy father. I think her father started Groupon.

6 billion yeah, people like can't get over the fact and they assume that like all of her success is because she has a billionaire dad. I do understand why people like might think that if you're like not paying attention, but I've watched the whole thing. Like it's super organic. Like, and she definitely like has, you know, an advantage with like, you know, knowing how to get an agent once, once you're eligible. You can't just get an agent. Like, you have to be, you have to have something. But you know, I love to talk about our competitors over at the New York Times and Publicast or whatever it's called. And this is why you really should not have like two grown men talking about pop culture because they. I just saw one of their clips talking about Cell Lefty. It was genuinely like one of the most misogynistic clips I'd ever seen in my life. And I'm not even like sensitive to misogyny. Like, it was.

Yeah, I like to, I like to consider myself a misogynist. They were just talking about this like, young girl who's really bootstrapping and yeah, okay, her dad's a billionaire. Like, sure. But like, if you're watching, she's just talented. She writes her music, she's a great voice. Utilizing social media.

Dad, like, can't make you a successful pop star with a top five song on the Billboard charts. Like, they can't do that.

No, it can't. And so like, if you're watching, she's really like, her social media marketing is insane. It seems to be all her. Like, I don't know, this clip was just so derogatory. I couldn't get over it. It was just like, are we going to talk about like Stella? Like, it was just.

Just that her dad's a billionaire. Like, he's like, oh, were you going to talk about that? Like, it was so ill. These two like old ass grown men talking about like a 19 year old. It was. I'll have to find the clip and I'll post it on my Instagram. I was just like, oh, the toast would never.

No, I just think it's like a cool, fun fact and I don't really think it has anything to do with her success. We were talking about it and we were like, really? Like him starting Groupon, like, doesn't really give him pull in the music world. It's just nice for her that when she wanted to be an artist. And I just feel like it was Gray San and Brooks recording her, like, getting in the car with Pete. Send it to Dumois. Like, they're just like, well, brooks is in LA. It's Grace Anne.

It's, by the way, 1,000% Grace Anne. Because we all watched Love Thy Nater. We saw, like, the whole journey of Sarah Nader, like, coming out. She's a lesbian.

First of all, she's bisexual.

Yeah. On season one, she revealed that she's bisexual, and she started dating someone named Alexis Williams. Is that was the girl from the show?

But I could see, like, I don't know, the stage photos of him in the upper Baby Vista, like, in the park. I'm just not buying it, you know? Go home. Go home. I've really had enough of Pete Davidson.

Yeah, we actually. In the book that we just read. Do you think you'll read it?

Okay. Because one of the story lines is this couple who, like, always, like, they weren't a couple. They're friends. They're in a big friend group. And two of them, like, always hooked up throughout the years. They're, like, maybe in their late 20s, early 30s. And he starts dating a new girl who, like, came to town, and they're, like, perfect for each other, really. And then the girl he used to hook up with, sometimes the friend turns out she's pregnant and she doesn't want to be with him. She, like, wants to do it on her own. And they go through the whole pregnancy, and really. And he stays with his, like, new girl. And then once, like, the girl's pregnant, when she finally gives birth, it's like, really hard for him to be in a new relationship when he has a new Baby, because he wants to be there every night. He wants to be there every day. And then he's really only with her, like, at night to go to sleep. She feels so lonely and they wind up breaking up because he's like, I want to be with the baby. And that means, like, being with her at her house. And, like, I can't be here with you. And so eventually, like, it gets to a place where, like, you can have, you know, a life outside of a baby, but, like, with a newborn baby, you just can't. So, like, why are you going on a first date, second date?

[Jackie]

I totally agree. Like, there's a time and a place to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend or go on a first date and having, like, the newborn phase, ain't it? No, it ain't it. Like, unless you're a single mom and somebody, like, comes in and, like, wants to co parent with you. Like, sure. But this is not that. I think this is so weird. Like, I get why Sarah J. Nader is, like, doing what she has to do. Like, one thing about the Nader sisters, like, they will be famous, like, whether you like it or not. Like, they work so hard to maintain their celebrity and, like, Brooks is obviously, like, doing the most. But the other girls are, like, always with their campaigns and paparazzi, like, so this is that.

This is that. They get dressed to the nines. They always look great. Yeah, their place looks great. It always does.

[Jackie]

This is that. This is an easy way to generate a headline. And I just know, like, Grace Anne is snickering behind that camera 1000%. So that's why I feel, like, filmed by Grace used, like, that girl who went to Louisiana.

Yeah, that girl who went to Louisiana with Sarah Jane was, like, really painful.

Grace and took that video, posted it to watch, like, generate a headline for Sarah Jane, because this is, like, a good headline for her. And whoever Pete dates gets pressed.

And I am talking about it because I walked into a trap.

You did walk into a trap. Although we did need to talk about it, so. And I'm actually glad because I think this is. No, I thought really low of Pete before, but I didn't think low of Sarah Jane. And I was like, well, you're a lesbian and this is obviously fake, but I didn't realize she was bisexual. So I'm glad we talked about that just so I could have cleared that up for myself.

I never was. I liked him and Kim together, but I never thought he was hot. Like, I'm so glad I never changed my mind on that because, like, I was able to slip into my hater era very, very easily. I didn't have to do a lot of like, self work to get there.

So he addressed reconciling with his parents, explaining that they managed to keep the details of their feud under wraps while other unnamed family members publicly aired the dirty laundry. He said that is true. He said, I've been really staunch going back to when there was a schism that I feel like stuff should be off limits now. Not everybody in the family adhered to the same thing he's alluding to. When Jordan went on the Bachelorette and told viewers about their estrangement. He said, but there are different things, situations, experiences, and people that actually change your life. He shied away from staying Jordan's name, but obviously made it clear that they're still not.

[Jackie]

Yeah, Reunited when an entire family is like, close and one person is not, like, I'm always gonna side with the family. So I do think, like, in the great schism of The Rogers family, like, Aaron was definitely wrong because everyone's close and you're not. Like, you're. You're wrong. But I do agree with him that, like, he can reconcile with everyone. But I think, like, the thing that even with family, you don't talk to, like, there's still an unspoken rule, like, we would never tell anyone. Like, and the fact that Jordan, like, went on TV and publicized it, like, really is so, like, trashy and gross. I could see why Aaron, who's clearly crazy, is not over it.

[Katie]

Yeah.

[Jackie]

That is, like, no matter what happened in the family and we don't know, they haven't really shared, like, what the actual estrangement was caused by. But no matter what it is, like, you just don't tell people, like, I'm of that from that school.

[Katie]

I'm sure the estrangement was caused more so by, like, vibes and dynamics and a little bit of jealousy and money and celebrity and, like, things that, like,

[Jackie]

you can't really, like, verbalize, but also,

[Katie]

like, things that can heal over time, but, like, what you can't undo is something, like, putting it on blast.

[Jackie]

It's really true. It's solo brow.

Aaron Rodgers is, like, so principled to, like, his principles.

Like, he'll never get it.

So, like, rigid.

That I just think when something's, like, done for him, it's done.

Yeah. And so I'm inclined to take his family side overall, but with Jordan v. Aaron, I kind of agree with Aaron. Like, Jackie, if you and I ever had a falling out, like, when I tell you the world would never know why, like, even if you did the worst thing ever to me, like.

Well, they could figure it out. Maybe we stopped liking each other's posts or whatever, but I would never confirm it. And they would never know why.

Like, we still don't know why with Jordan and Aaron, just.

This is what he said on the Bachelor. This is what he said. Me and Aaron don't really have that much of a relations. It's just kind of the way he's chosen to do life. And I've chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother. Yeah. It's not ideal. And I love him. I can't imagine what it's like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has, the demands from people that he has. I don't have hard feelings against him. It's just how things are right now. Then when they went to the hometowns and JoJo met Jordan's family. They left, like, two empty chairs, the dinner table. And then Aaron talked about that in his documentary, and he said they go on a show and leave two empty chairs. They all agree that this is a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous. His words, not mine.

Yeah, like, I stand with Aaron there in Aaron v. Jordan.

[Katie]

Like, and. And so I'm just gonna impress you because, like, the people who could do that, who. And they all. I know they all bought into that. Like, maybe. Maybe Aaron's not the wrong party.

I don't know. Like, maybe someone who just, like, you know, everybody these days is, like, no contact, whatever. And, like, the person who leaves their family is, like, the hero. According to, like, whenever I see people talking about it online, I'm just not like that. I'm not like that. I'm sorry. I'm not even.

I'm not like that either.

So I am inclined to, like, think the Rogers are, like, decent people. But, yeah, like, going on TV and outing, like, your very famous brother and, like, embarrassing him. Like, yeah, like, I hate that. Like, I think that's disgusting.

And also, like, we never expected Aaron Rodgers to be on the hometown for the Bachelor.

[Jackie]

They could have just said, aaron's busy. He's in Wisconsin.

They discussed Kyle's ring and them being friends now. So Ben asked him. So you and Kyle are friends. And Ben goes, you didn't tell me we're friends with Kyle. Craig goes, I forgot to call you.

[Jackie]

Although I will say, like, not to make everything about me. And thanks for not bringing this up, Craig. Craig did tell me the night before that he was seeing Kyle that next day. So I. And I told Ben we were together. I forget where we were. Oh, I think we were in la.

[Katie]

So this is what Craig said. He said, I'm on this, like, motivational side of tick tock. And I didn't realize that I only related forgiving people to those that I thought deserve forgiveness. And Kyle was the first person who was a huge challenge to me, who I thought I'd never speak to again because I thought that there were things that happened that were unforgivable. And so the next day, he came to my store, like, during a pillow party and took pictures with the fans. And the joy that it brought the fans to see me and him not hate each other for some reason just triggered something in my head. I was like, wow, it didn't cost anything. I feel lighter. You could instantly, instantly see the reaction of people that support us now.

[Jackie]

I've seen a lot of reactions to Craig's statements here, and I think people don't really understand that, like, Craig is really emotional. Like, obviously we know him from tv, but, like, he's really like that in real life. And, like, he takes things very, like, personally and hard. And so, like, I could see him, like, yeah. Being inspired by a tick tock to forgive his friend, like, honestly. And it's in an earnest way, for real. Because there's a lot people in the comments being like, this is so, like, eye roll.

[Katie]

And it's like, no, like, he's really genuine.

[Jackie]

He is. He's like an empath. And I could see, like, this beautiful event in his store, which he takes so much pride in his store and, you know, Kyle bringing all this joy to people. I could see him, like, being deeply moved by that. I really could.

[Katie]

And, like, inspired by the way that people feel about them. Do you ever have that where, like, you hate someone or you're so mad at someone and, like, you feel like you'll never get over it, and then, like, you're with them or around them and just something just, like, like, changes. It disappears and it lifts and it's like, you do feel better and. Yeah. Like, why can't we all get along?

[Jackie]

Yeah. No, but it's like, before that.

[Katie]

Like, the idea is, like, it's impossible. I would never forget this.

Where someone, like, just acknowledges that almost like he should be thanking Amanda because he was about to be canceled. And it's like, okay, God forbid you curse out your wife in the bathroom and act like a degenerate for 10 years.

Correct. So I'm not, like, loving that journey that everyone seems to be on of, like, complete amnesia, like, completely forgetting who Kyle Cook is and has been for 10 years. And I think that this only, like, furthers that narrative. But I'm happy for them.

Yeah. And I guess, like, Ben has his own separate beef with Kyle.

I peed in it to test my lh, rinsed out quickly with water, and then set it to the side to take it to be washed that evening. Well, I clearly forgotten. This morning I walked into the bathroom and I noticed the cup has been moved over to his side of the sink and had his retainer cleaning solution in it. This is not the kind of cup we throw away. And the dishwasher and sink were empty too. My husband is a level 10 germaphobe. If he found out, I think he would throw up. Do you think I should tell Him Take it to my grave. Thanks. They, like, need to come up with a better solution. Like, I. I remember when I was, like, testing my LH for fu. Like, you wake up, you have to do it first thing in the morning. So if you're sitting on the toilet and you're like, wait, you can't get up. Like, it has to be your first pee. I literally, like, many times I have this huge can of hairspray. Big, sexy hair. You know, the big red one? And I took the cap off and I just peed in the cap. Like, desperate times.

Wow. I take the strip and put it

[Jackie]

in the water of the bowl.

[Katie]

No, I like to use a red solo cup.

[Jackie]

Yeah. That you leave.

[Katie]

Yeah. Swap it out here and there.

[Jackie]

So I used a red solo cup that I would, like, rinse and leave. But then when I had, like, a housekeeper come once or twice a week, she obviously threw it out. So, like, the day after, I didn't know, and I would be like, all right, time for the hairspray bottle.

[Katie]

Yeah. You gotta keep a stack of solo cups. Just like, you keep a stack of, like, with your strips.

[Jackie]

They need to come out with, like, a better.

[Katie]

They need to keep come up with, like, a bowl that goes in your toilet, that catches your pee that you can test and then just, like, put into the bottom of the toilet.

[Jackie]

Yeah. Now, when you, like, would have a red cup, would you ever reuse it or. No, because I feel like I would reuse it for, like, many days.

[Katie]

Yeah, I think I would reuse it.

[Jackie]

And you rinse it, like, with just hot water. Do you rinse it with soap?

[Katie]

No.

[Jackie]

Okay. No.

[Katie]

Because I don't want the soap to contaminate.

[Jackie]

Of course, of course. I just thought, like, you would think it was gross.

[Katie]

No, no, no. P is sterile. Like, I'm not scared of. He is sterile. I'm not scared of pee.

[Jackie]

Actually, you could tell your husband that it's probably makes a great retainer corner cleaning solution.

[Katie]

Don't tell him because you're fine. And, like, sometimes it's like, he's fine, so there's nothing that he needs to know, and we just make him sick.

[Jackie]

So, like, why you want to be trying to hurt him?

[Katie]

And it's like, you're just saying it's like, alleviate your burden when it's like, Actually, the nicest thing you could do for him is carry the burden.

[Jackie]

Be very selfish.

[Katie]

You're just, you should carry the burden. And really, it's not a big deal. Like, seriously.

[Jackie]

Yeah. Today's segment is burden yourself.

[Katie]

Literally. Like, you're trying to get pregnant. Like, he can drink a little pee.

[Jackie]

It's so true.

You're going to endure 10 months, God willing.

Take your money out because this is a fraudulent thing. Because even if you would have said that if she starts to, like, go south, like a million to zero, that's, that's not just like, oh, we had a, like, business is down.

A lot of people, like, have deer toasters that stick with them forever. Like, like the guy who was collecting water in the basement or the girl whose husbands were, like, sending naked pictures of them. For me, like, the million dollar loss will go down as, like, something I'll lose sleep over. Yeah, I'm wishing you the best.
