A
Good morning, girlies. It's the Toast.
B
It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host.
A
It's your favorite show.
B
The best five things you need to know.
A
We'll start your day off Swirly. It's the Toast.
B
They sound amazing.
A
Welcome back to the Toast and happy Friday Shop. She's from Texas. I can tell by the way she's throwing that ass around the room. Yeah, that's right. Jackie's joining us from the Midwest. Is Texas the Midwest or, like, the southwest? South?
B
More Southwest.
A
I would say central. I would say joggers.
B
Central America, I would say. Would.
A
You're calling in from Central America. Yeah, that's exactly what I would say.
B
I would say so as well. Hey, guys. I took my co Jerner friend to Dallas, and I'm recording from the Dallas studio, which we love. And, like, it's so super hd. It's very exciting.
A
Always, whenever Jackie records from Dallas, she makes my studio look like it's filmed on an iPhone. Like. But it's okay. We're having fun. Only one frame today, but I'm bringing the swirlitude. And you're sort of bringing that, like, podcast.
B
I am bringing podcast. I do feel. Do you know what else I brought? I brought a special guest for the
A
show, Granny the Cook.
B
I brought Granny the Cook, you guys.
A
As you guys know, Jackie's iPad, which she uses for work, only gets used by the kids when they're on an airplane.
B
And yesterday we were on an airplane,
A
they put it in those, like, I'm sure I'll understand one day why those dumbass cases exist.
B
No, you absolutely need them. I actually thought that I lost Granny the Cook, so I instacarted more Granny the Cooks. But then I found the OG Granny,
A
and the OG Granny the Cook has a strap, right? Like a shoulder.
B
She usually has a shoulder strap down. That part I did lose. But it was okay because when, you know, takeoff and landing, they can hold their little sides. And then when we're up, you know, 30,000ft, this got a stand. It's got a little stand. Yeah. So this is Granny the Cook in all her glory.
A
Jackie's kids, for some reason, call the iPad Granny the Cook. It is so funny when the first time I heard them say it, I'm like, what did you just say? Granny the Cook.
B
Granny the Cook. And of course, I could have taken her off for the show today, but given the fact that we were talking about her this week, I just.
A
The legacy that she has created for
B
herself, I needed to close. Close the loop on Granny the cook. And this is her.
A
No, it feels right. Thank you, Granny, for coming. We'll see how it goes having the three co hosts, because we usually are max 2, but we'll see.
B
She's like. She speaks softly but carries a big stick.
A
Slay mama.
B
Slay Granny.
A
She's from Texas. I can tell. But I was just watching a video. I don't know if it was, like, CMA Fest, like one of those, but L. Langley was, like, the headliner, and it got me thinking because, you know, yesterday we were saying how Noah Khan is, like, very much in the running
B
for Adam Dear, but you can't even bring him up again on the show because you ruined my day. All day, I had that song in my head. Write the song, like, telling me what you told me. All day I had the song in my head.
A
Did you not know that that's what the song was about?
B
No, I. I had only, like, experienced that song, much like I experienced other, like, cutesy songs and reels. I didn't know it was a new song. I just thought, like, it was having a moment where people were just, like, using it. You know, there's a bunch of, like, cute songs like that. So I never stopped, like, to think about it. I didn't really even know the lyrics. And then it just, like, had a moment of, like, dawning on me, like, what he was saying, and it just. It just took over me, and it was. It was very emotional.
A
Okay, sorry. Like, let's just not even go down that road. Let's talk about something else.
B
Oh, but we can talk about music. Because I was. I took. I took a plane. No, no, I. I didn't listen to music on the plane, but I did a car service to get to work today because, like, I just didn't want to be anxious. And so it was a controlled environment. I was able to listen to new music and I listened by car service.
A
Do you mean Uber?
B
No, it wasn't an Uber. Else, I would have just said that.
A
That' It's a traditional car. I was, like, struggling to, like, dial seven.
B
Like, literally dial seven.
A
Okay, okay, Wait. What was that? Dial seven commercial. Remember they had that jingle that was,
B
like, borderline anti Semitic, but not 666666.
A
Oh, yes. Six, 666666. Remember six. Oh. Every afternoon when the clock strikes four,
B
go into now six.
A
Ride around town shopping or moving remember six. The best ride in town for wherever you want to go Carmel is a number to know Ride Carmelo beyond time worldwide nationwide 6666666. Was that regional?
B
That was so.
A
I don't know. They said worldwide and nationwide. Regional.
B
Oh, regional. Well, no, I guess I should have called them.
A
Okay, so you were in a car service.
B
You were in a car service.
A
That wasn't an Uber.
B
That wasn't an Uber. And it wasn't Carmel. Listen to High inside the full song. Frankie Jonas and oh, Claudia. It's amazing.
A
Like, I thought you were gonna say you listen to Olivia Rodrigo's.
B
No, I was about to, but then I was like, oh, it's Friday. New music Friday. So, like, Somber has a new song.
A
Yeah. Something about his body.
B
Yeah, I listened to it because. And it was on repeat one because of Happy song yesterday. So, like, I actually wound up listening to it three times. Enjoyable. Didn't add it to liked, but I add high and sad to liked. Then I listened to the new Benson Boone song that Alex Earl music video.
A
Know Time of my Life.
B
Yeah, it's a really nice song, but, you know, it's. It's very. It's kind of slow. It's a ballad. It's not.
A
Yeah.
B
A. A pussy popping anthem that we've come
A
to know from Benson and that we
B
would expect, like, Alex Earl. But I think the. The. The music video is very, like, lyrical dancing.
A
Oh, Maddie Ziegler coded.
B
Yeah. Yeah, for sure. But she's a dancer now.
A
Yeah. Alex Earl is the new Maddie Ziegler. I think that's fair to say.
B
No, like, she is a skilled dancer. So I want to watch a music video. But that was the extent of my new music Friday. And I will listen to Olivia Rodriguer.
A
I think that for those of us who were watching dance moms in real time, when Sia plucked Maddie Ziegler to be in the chandelier music video, like, the world stopped. I just. You really had to be there. It was such a special moment. It really was.
B
Those days of, like, those Sia songs. Of course, the music videos were amazing and Maddie Ziegler was amazing. But, like, those songs were amazing. We didn't deserve them, you know?
A
No, she was, for a brief period of time, time after time, releasing some of the greatest songs ever written.
B
Yeah.
A
Chandelier bird set free. Yeah. Alive. Unstoppable. Of course. Queen Corgi's favorite song.
B
Oh, my God. Queen Corgi. I miss her.
A
And, like, a fun fact about me is I weirdly now know every single word to unstopp Party girls.
B
That's sh.
A
Don't get hurt.
B
Oh, wait, what's Portia with no breaks
A
yeah, but how does it start? I don't know the words. And all through the night time yeah, yeah, okay.
B
Same for us. I put my armor on Come on.
A
Oh, sure.
B
Put your arm on. Come on.
A
I put my armor on show you how strong I am I put my armor on I'll show you that I am I'm unstoppable I'm a Porsche with no brakes I'm invincible yeah, I win every single game I'm so powerful Give the kick I don't need battery.
B
A little Queen Corgi kick.
A
I'm so confident yeah. I'm unstoppable today Unstopped. Like, seriously, I have ptsd. Let's move on. What else did I want to tell you? I'm feeling, like, so far away from you. We're using zoom today. Like, I know.
B
It's so crazy.
A
A couple of corporate baddies.
B
It's really amazing what technology can do. Like, I can just be somewhere. I can step on a plane, step off into a new land, and still podcast with my sister that early next morning.
A
Yeah. And let's talk about technology, like, at a glance. It's amazing.
B
It is amazing. And, you know, I feel like sometimes everyone talks about the negatives. Right? Like, I've been thinking a lot about Jeff Bezos, because everybody hates him and he's terrible, but, like, Amazon.
A
And I just want to say I don't. You don't?
B
I don't.
A
Like, we would love to be invited on the plane and the boat.
B
Amazon has changed.
A
What, the way we live.
B
To be alive.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean? I see sometimes people writing, like, love letters to Amazon, like, trying to explain the fact that people are such ingrates. Like, how we can. What we have with Amazon we take so for granted. Like, think about being a new parent, and instead of running out to Walgreens and Bye bye baby, every other day you get to be home with your child and just things show up at your door.
A
Yeah, no, we could, of course, talk about, like, how Amazon is bad for X, Y and Z because, you know, they literally put bye bye baby out of business. But, yeah, nobody talks enough.
B
Like, glowingly, the quality of life improvement. I feel like people are really ungrateful.
A
I completely agree. And he just reminded me, I saw the funniest, like, Tim Dillon clip about how, like, we just sort of have to be okay with, like, all of our billionaires, celebrities, politicians. Like, everyone's a pedophile, so you just have to be like, well, what else is the pedophile doing? And he was Talking about is a pedophile good for the climate? Are they passionate about, you know, giving back? Are they passionate about, you know, creating good schools? And then he was like, well, most of them are. It was seriously hysterical.
B
You think all of them. You think all. I don't think all.
A
I don't think Taylor Swift is a pedophile, cuz she's a billionaire. But I was mostly talking about the men.
B
Yeah, I don't think all of anything. You know, I think there are definite.
A
But he was just basically being like, yeah, like, we need to just have the general understanding, like, they're there, they're pedophiles.
B
Damn.
A
Moving on.
B
Like, no.
A
Like, no, no, no.
B
And some of them really smell like pedophiles, you know, but the ones who, like, don't have a whiff, I'm just. I'm just not gonna pin that on them just yet.
A
Of course, of course. Yeah. Well, I feel like we should dive in. It's Friday. Oh, sorry. I meant to say there will be no Love island recap today because I did not watch.
B
You didn't?
A
No, I went out.
B
Oh, I saw that you were out. Oh, my God. It didn't even occur to me. I literally, like, Granny the Cook and I were watching together.
A
Oh, I'm so, so late because there's
B
a. Oh, I'm so sorry.
A
I literally wrote in our chat that I wasn't watching.
B
Oh, I. I missed it because I was ignoring the chat because I was trying to watch and I thought everybody was, like, ahead of me because I'm on a time difference.
A
You know, I went out and I had a couple of cocktails. The other side. I'm a little hungover. Yeah, I drink a little. And I was just not watching it. Like, I felt so free. It's like that Nicole Kidman meme where she's like, obviously, like, just left Tom Cruise and she's like, free me. Like, it was freeing. I don't know what happened. I'll try not to watch. Spoilers.
B
It was lots of chats. It was. It was just chats. Oh, and they got a postcard.
A
What's that?
B
So they did something new again to try and, like, drum up the girls to do something. They sent a postcard to the villa from Casa More and it's pictures of each of the guys doing something with a girl. And they're trying to suss out, like, was this in a challenge? Was it not?
A
Right?
B
And some of it's clearly not in the challenge. And then Casa More also got pictures of the Villa and it push it down.
A
Oh, no. Did they send the pictures of Trinity and Corey?
B
Yeah. Yeah. But you know what? Bryce, he literally just won the whole show because he's like, he's spiraling at first and then he's like, you know what? I. I think he's like, I like her so much. Like, I'd rather go back there, fall on my sword and have it not work out and just like risk it all for something that's like love, man. And like.
A
Right. Not just like coming back so you can stay on the show.
B
No. So like he will be coming back alone, hoping against hope that Trinity has chosen him.
A
They've already won. I'm just letting you know.
B
They've already.
A
Huge. Yeah. I'm just curious what song they're going to use for their reunion. Like, and it's going to become like the song of the summer. I'm letting you know. Yeah, use Toast by Claudia. You guys, like, if any of the listen editors are listening, they also they
B
shared a photo of Zach and Alana kissing. That was clearly outside of a challenge. Kate is having a breakdown. She's crying like, inconsolable.
A
So I feel as though this season will end up net net. It's already started like being bad for women because there's so much like that needs. There's so much heavy handed production that to be done because these girls, like, will not move away from their original couples. And it's like they're being told. They watch the whole thing. They're being told and nothing will get them. Is Casey still talk? Is an I still talking about Casey?
B
She was, but then there's a picture of him kissing Tiara like by the pool. Clearly, just like it couldn't be more clear that they're like kissing during the day and then the girls are are smiling. Then that night, like, Melanie comes to Kada and Anaya and like says literally what all of us are saying. Like, you guys, we are being played. We look stupid, we look desperate. And we're sitting over here being like, my man, my man. Like, I think he'll come back. We need to actually go and explore and try. We should all cuddle tonight with our guys and give these guys a real chance. But what's funny, yeah, it was a very empowering moment. Also Kenzie said a similar thing to them earlier in the day and it was like they needed to hear it. They were like, wow, Kenzie. And it was actually really poignant. Earl. Also it's funny because Corbin's talking to Casey and they're like, seriously two dumb. Telling each other. Exactly.
A
Each other. Exactly.
B
But he was like, I don't want to be mean, but, like, the girl. The casa girls are like college girls, and the villa girls are like, high school girls.
A
Oh, he's a pedophile who thinks like that.
B
No, like, in terms of maturity, you know, and then. But what's funny is that at the villa, one of them was saying, like, the. The villa boys are, like, are boys, and the casa boys are men. So they actually all agree that, like, worthy, immature ones. These are the mature ones. But then if you think about it, it's like, the immature should be together.
A
Yeah, of course. Like the blind leaving the blind.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
So maybe I'll just skip the episode because I feel like I just got, like, a download.
B
Yeah. It was, like, a lot of chats. A lot of people talking about chats and, like, trying to have more chats and thinking about.
A
Gonna go doing more conversations about conversations.
B
Yeah. And then they did get the postcard, and Zach is flipping because he knows that Kate picture of him and Alana, because that's what everybody got.
A
And the boys got a postcard too.
B
The boys got a postcard too, and he saw a picture of Kate and Che kissing clearly in a challenge. So he knows that, like, she's acting. Right. And he knows that she got Alana and him kissing outside of a challenge, and Alana's gone. And he was like, oh, what did they say? Alana has left the villa. That's all. And then he's left the building. That's when Zach was like, I'm gonna be going back alone for nothing.
A
And she's gonna be mad, and she's gonna.
B
Yeah, exactly. And she might like, okay, that's good. Yeah. So there's something brewing.
A
The postcard is a very good move.
B
They're trying anything.
A
They're trying anything to break up these, like, ramshackle couples.
B
Yeah. It's really crazy. I think the only people who should stay where they are. I do think Zach and Kada, as much as, you know, he says weird stuff, and there's red flags there. I think they like each other so much, they've had a good time, and no one's gonna come. I think they should choose each other again. I do.
A
Yeah.
B
Melanie. And sincere question mark.
A
He's a bad guy.
B
I want them.
A
And I just want to say at one point, I. I thought that they were really right for each other, but she's definitely evolving. I don't know if she just had a. A weird start, but she's not the girl that I thought she was, and she hasn't shown her crazy side again. And we'll see if that remains to be the case. But, like, I actually think now at one point they deserved each other. And I don't think anybody deserves sincere. Like, he's actually scary.
B
I. I think that they should pick each other because I think even if she brings back someone else, it's still going to be about Melanie and sincere. And then, you know, there it's just another soul, and they just like. And so I think they're just going to come back to each other. So just be with each other and, like, stop using people and wasting their time and hurting their feelings. And then an I. And Casey, if she does not pick Carl. Oh, my God. The biggest L of the century of the.
A
I pick Carl. I pick Carl.
B
You better pick Carl.
A
You better.
B
Yeah. Well, you know what? I'm glad that I watch even though you didn't, because I feel like the next few days I'm not going to be watching. I'm gonna have to, like, catch up so much. So it's like one less episode to have to catch up on.
A
Okay, great. So. And we a little recap there. Anyway, let's dive into the stories. We also have Queenie and Weenie, so let's do it.
B
Okay. Without further ado, it is time for the Fast 5 stories that yet it do need to know.
A

B
Thanks, Turd Organics.
A
You're welcome. I am organic.
B
You are. You're in your crunchy era.
A
Really? I actually think I'm not. And any sort of crunchy part of me, like, I've really reverted.
B
Really.
A
I feel like when I first became a mom, I really understand the crunch lifestyle and, like, yeah, let's do it all. But I don't know. It's too much work. Like, it's too much work.
B
Small changes. Small.
A
I made a quesadilla last night, and that's, like, obviously a big deal for me because I don't cook, and I did mess up the first one. I've never made a quesadilla before. And, like, you make it in a pan?
B
Yeah. What'd you think?
A
I personally don't like quesadillas. No? No.
B
Sorry. What? How did you think you make them?
A
Well, I was hoping, like, I had a panini press, but I didn't.
B
Oh. You know, I have a panini press, and I think the quesadillas actually come out better in the pan.
A
But, like, the grill lines, like.
B
Yeah, we don't have grill.
A
There's no texture.
B
We don't have grill lines, but. But I guess it depends what kind of quesadilla you're making. When I make them for the kids, like, they're rather thin. So, like, the panini.
A
So that was my question. I made quesadillas for Ruby, like, the first time ever, and he loved it so much. I've never been so happy. Like, I felt amazing. He loved it so much. He ate almost, like an entire quesadilla. And I was so happy. And first time I made it, like, I sprinkled cheese, and then I put the other tortilla on top. By the time it was done, like, all the cheese melted and there was, like, nothing inside.
B
It's a thin one.
A
It was so thin. He was basically just eating bread. So I made a second one.
B
Siete.
A
Of course. I used all your ingredients.
B
Oh, good.
A
And then I made a second one with, like, three times. I put the whole bag of cheese in it because I'm like, you need to have some proteins. It's like, dinner.
B
Yeah.
A
So, yeah, I made a quesadilla. It's, like, literally not a Big deal.
B
No, not a big deal. Such a great dinner, like for. And when. You know, when there's nothing for dinner but you want to make dinner, you don't want to like, order.
A
And like, we're going away for the summer in like a few days. For the last week, I've been so cardboard. I'm like, yeah, no, I've been really nuts. I'm like, don't bring anything home. And Ben went out, like, literally.
B
This is insane.
A
Cardboard Ben. When I said, you need to make
B
a video, you need to make like a funny reel of like cardboard things. Like the Log it in the app girl.
A
Cardboard things. Oh, oh, okay, ready? This would, this would be one of them. Ben went to lunch with his mom at like a kosher spot. So whenever we go kosher, I'm like, bring stuff home because, like, it's so. It's pre made food that we don't have to make. I'm literally like, take your scraps home. Ben brought home half a sandwich. Like, but this is not cardboard. It's not money. I just like, hate. I hate waste.
B
Yeah. Yeah, you do. You're kind of zero waste.
A
I. No, I'm not zero waste. I just feel really bad about my waist. I hate wasting stuff. That's why I'm like, not. I'm kind of like a commie influencer. Don't send me gifting unless I express.
B
You guys know how she feels about this.
A
Don't get me started on my gift. It's so wasteful. I give it all away. Seriously, like, I give it all away. You give. You send me gifting that I didn't ask for. It goes right to a local place or someone in my life.
B
She also harbors a hatred against the brand.
A
It's true. I will hate you forever. And I will never post you if you. I don't. If you like, sneakily get my address. So it's a punishment to her. It's a punishment. And you know what's so funny? Is that the first brand. Not the first, but, like, there was actually only been one brand that's ever crossed over. The first time ever, I got a package from a company. It was this huge box of clothes and I was like, are you kidding me? I have no space for this. I didn't. I've never heard of the brand. I never asked for it. I like, put it in the corner of my closet. It was. It's like, it had like, merch and it said, like, boys lie on it. And I, I wouldn't wear it. And If I did wear it, I would say, don't nobody take a picture of me. I was like, so mad. They're the only ones who crossed over now. I like request gifting because I love it. So, yeah, sometimes it's a good way to discover new brands. Like, I'm sad. I know all the brands that I like. Don't send me crap. It goes right to an organization.
B
Yeah, boy, Boycely days are numbered. I actually think I'm, I'm done, you know, because they ask, what does everything say? What does that say? What does that say? Am I gonna say boys lie and
A
you can't lie because you want them to learn how to read?
B
Right, right, right, right. Like B, O, Y. Like no letters. Like, that's right. Like, I'm done, I'm out.
A
Yeah.
B
If they'll make stuff that doesn't say a huge boys lie across a bit, I'll wear that.
A
Yeah.
B
But unfortunately my watch has ended.
A
Okay. This is tabado season for a reason.
B
There. There is. And I'm happy for everyone else who still gets to wear it. Let's get into the stories. First up, Tom Sandoval's girlfriend, Victoria Robinson has been arrested after he has accused her and her dad of attacking him. So Tom Sandoval filed a request for a restraining order against his ex girlfriend Victoria Robertson, following her arrest earlier this month. He requested a domestic violence restraining order against her, whom he has been dating since early 2024. Sandoval claims that she verbally and physically abused him on June 3. According to court filings of obtained by People, Sanoval claimed that during a night out on June 3, Robinson punched him in the face, injuring his neck and ear. He claims the impact of her punch was so forceful it caused his vision to blur and lasting pain. During the same incident, he further alleged that her father lunged at him in his inebriated state and punched a hole in his bedroom door. Robinson was arrested on a charge of intimate partner battery with physical violence and released on bond the same day. Sandoval subsequently requested a domestic violence restraining order against the dad too.
A
So I saw the video and I don't know if there's, if this arrest and incident covers anything outside of the video, but based on what I saw in the video, like, team dad, like, sorry, Tom Sandoval touched his daughter. Bitch, get the out of my way. And then Tom Sandoval shoved him into the fire pit.
B
I saw that the headline that he shoves him into the fire pit.
A
And after he shoves him into the fire pit, Tom Sandoval goes running into the house, like, running scared. And the dad's like, absolutely fucking lutely not. And then I saw a picture of, like, a hole in the wall that the dad had punched. Like, yeah, you touched my daughter. I'm punching a hole in your face.
B
Oh, interesting. I didn't see a video, so I didn't know any of this. I saw the hole.
A
So here's what happened to the video.
B
I thought girly did the hole in the wall.
A
So the dad and Tom Sandoval are arguing. I don't know what it's about. All verbal. The guy's sitting down there. The daughter and the dad are sitting by the fire pit. Tom comes out of the house. They're arguing. They're arguing. The dad gets up. Tom Sandoval, they're fighting now, standing up. And then Tom Sandoval looks at the daughter who's sitting just sort of watching the whole thing, and he's like, are you filming me? She might have been. And he, like, goes to her. And I don't know if they're wrestling for the phone, but he's, like, being physical with the girl. He's a man standing up. She's a girl sitting down. The dad immediately puts hands on Tom. Tom shoves him into the fire pit and runs into the house while the guy's, like, literally on fire.
B
Footage from, like, a ring camera.
A
While the dad is, like, tumbling out of the fire pit. Tom Sandoval runs into the house. And then the dad runs back into the house. That's where the footage ends. Chasing Tom Sandoval. I assume it gets physical. I assume that's where the hole in the wall came from. And I just want to say, like, team father.
B
And then when did she punch him in the face?
A
So they said. What you just read is that that was like a different incident on a night out.
B
Okay. So there's just a lot of assault happening.
A
Yeah, I know Tom Sandoval. I've known for many years. I mean, basically I watch his whole life on TV for 10 years. So I know I know him. I know he.
B
I know him, like, offline.
A
Yeah. And when I tell you there is not one more crazy, unhinged individual, but he's never really been, like, physical. Right. So I don't know if this is like a situation where he's like. I think that, like, maybe this was a heated argument and whatever, but I think I know he's, like, very evil and manipulative. So I can see him using the police report and all, claiming to be a victim of abuse. I could see him using that as, like, manipulative, manipulatory things with his girlfriend. Because do I think that, like, Tom Sandoval is a victim of domestic violence consistently, like, from this three pound girlfriend? I don't. Sorry. Like, for me to believe that a man is being physically abused by a woman, I just, I need a little bit more proof. I'm not, I'm really not trying to be like, a. But I saw the picture that he, like, gave to the police of, like, him being punched in the eye. He had, like, a little yellow bruise by his eye. Like, I'm sorry. Sorry.
B
Yeah. I don't know.
A
Is that bad to say?
B
I don't know. I, like, it's really hard to pontificate on these matters because I don't know the girl, I don't know their situation. I don't know who's starting stuff, but it just, it's very trashy.
A
And that's, of course not to say that, like, men can't be victims.
B
No, I know what you're saying, but, like, I just, I have no idea what's going on here, so I'm not gonna just start, like, railing against someone because I have no idea.
A
In the words of Aviva Dresher, you're both my trash.
B
Yeah, no, this is, like, seriously trashy stuff.
A
Yeah. Right.
B
Like, and, and, and so I don't need to, like, get in the mud. And, like, I, I. And I don't even know. I don't even know what's going on. So I hope these two, like, people can get their act together in general, you know, and, like, stop. Yeah, I don't even want to say my next sentence. I don't know if it's, like, a mutually toxic, consistent situation. I don't know. I don't know if it's mutual. Like, I don't know if there's just one or they're both or. I don't know.
A
I feel like a situation that I keep, like, keep comparing it to is Taylor, Frankie, Paul. Because, like, that's a recent situation where, like, a woman has been accused of being physically violent. But, like, I saw the video, like, she was being physically violent, so it was easier to believe it because I saw it.
B
Yeah. But also, like, holding space for the fact that he's probably participating in some way and that's just not on.
A
He brought her to that place.
B
Right, right. So it's, like, it's hard to say. Yeah, it's hard to judge.
A
I just, like, I wonder why Tom Sandoval isn't on the Valley. He's so crazy. Like, he's perfect for television.
B
Yeah. But he's not in the life stage of the Valley.
A
Oh, right. That's why.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
And people are done with him.
A
Yeah. I don't think he performed well on, like, Ease House of Villains.
B
No. But I think he did good on Traders and Special Forces.
A
Nobody watches Special Forces. That's a problem. But, yeah, I do remember him having an impact on Traders. Yeah.
B
Are you ready for our next story?
A
Yeah.
B
Emma Roberts is returning for Aquamarine TV series 20 years after the movie. So this is very exciting, exciting news. Emma Roberts is joining Aquamarine TV show at Disney plus and she will be acting in it and executive producing. She will guest star as Claire Brown, who is her original character.
A
And what about Sarah Paxton?
B
I didn't see anything about Sarah Paxton, but I. I feel like JoJo will do it. I don't know why.
A
Aquamarine is amazing. The kids of today, the mentally ill youth, like, they need Aquamarine. They need those seashell earrings whispering compliments in their ear because they're all insecure and they just get, like, bullied online, so nobody's telling them how great they are. They need the earrings. They need Robert, the hottie with a body. Hottie with a swimmer's body. Like, it's. It's just.
B
It's the.
A
It was the best movie, and it was so pure and, like, sweet and, like, girlfriends and, like, Beach Town. Like, it was amazing. And, yeah, that's what these kids need. These kids need a lot. And, you know, this is a good start. And she actually has a great track record of producing stuff. Tell Me Lies. Of course. Everything she does is good. So love this. And, like, I love that it's a nod to her, you know, og. I mean, when's the unfabulous reboot?
B
When's the unfabulous reboot?
A
It's better. Unfabulous.
B
And as much as I would like to see original ideas out into this world, I wouldn't. If in knowing we're not gonna have original ideas and we're going back into the archives, like, definitely.
A
Or adapting books.
B
Definitely. Reboot stuff like this. You know, if that's what we're doing now is like, like, picking up old stuff, like, do the best of the best. Like Aquamarine. Yes.
A
This is definitely. And I love that when Emma went back into her catalog of, like, childhood projects to revitalize, like, this is what she chose. Like, yes.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
She's a mother herself. You know, she knows that the kids need this.
B
Yeah.
A
She probably also believes that the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way, you know, I do, really. I relate and see a lot of myself in Jenna Moroney from 30 Rocks, especially when I sing that song.
B
Especially when you sing.
A
Yeah. Like her. My Don't Rain on My Parade is her. I believe the children are a future. I love her. I need. It's time to watch 30 Rock. Actually, watching four seasons really gave me the Tina Fey itch.
B
Oh, what do you. What else? Oath. I wonder if there's anything with Tina Fey that we haven't watched yet. You know what I mean?
A
We're, like, big consumers of Tina Fey's work, but I wouldn't say I'm like an enormous Tina style face. Stan. She's not, like, my idol, but I guess, like, she kind of is. Mean Girls. I'm sorry. Whoever was responsible for Mean Girls, which is literally Tina Fey, is the most brilliant person in the world, and that's Tina Fay. Jackie. I think that, like, we need to add her to the list of, like, dream guests. She's kind of our idol.
B
I know.
A
She really favorite things. She really gets us. Should we read her book?
B
Maybe? Also Unbreakable. Kimmy Schmidt.
A
Correct. Like, she's never done. There's not, like, a cult classic of hers that we don't know and love.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
What else does she do?
B
Sisters?
A
Did she do Mean Girls, too?
B
No, no, no, no. Good. She did. She has a lot of movies. Oh, she did girls 5eva.
A
I just want to say I never watched it. People loved it.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. And now I'm saying it's like, for me, she's a Mindy Kaling. Like, I know I'm gonna like what she does.
B
Yeah, I agree with. Oh, and Only Murder. Oh, no, she's. She was. She was in Only Murders.
A
Yeah, a lot of people are in Only Murders. Yeah. Okay.
B
Yeah, add her to the list.
A
Add her to the list. Yeah.
B
Are you ready for our next story? Some more content news. It's been a content heavy week. Must have been, like, you know, up front. Launch day, Shrek spin off, donkey sets, 2028 release date.
A
Like, obviously, I know this. I follow Olivia Ashray on Instagram. She posted all the. She always posts the breaking news in the Shrek world. Because wasn't there just other shrek news? Shrek 5 is coming.
B
Yes, we're having another Shrek.
A
Yeah. So I found that out from Olivia's Instagram stories, and then. Yeah, I know this Ready?
B
Like, yeah, yeah. And we said, like, she better be invited to the premiere of Shark 5 and she better be invited to the premiere of Donkey.
A
If there's influencer budget, like, for the promotion and they're using, like, mom influencers, like, hire my mom. I mean, hire Olivia. She's also my mom.
B
You know what? I got invited to something that I'm not going to, but that, like, I was invited to the right thing, you know? And then I would say, like, I should be invited to, too. And it was to Olivia. No, no, no. She's not gonna go either. But I was invited to. What was it? Is it. Hold on. Now that I'm thinking about it, like, doesn't make sense one second. But I just want to, like, give credit because I thought it was so pargy. A special screening of Moana, but didn't Mo. Oh, the live action Moana.
A
Oh, yeah. I saw what's his name in the studio.
B
Oh, yeah. Like, the cast and the filmmakers are going to be there and, like, you know, hockey me is such a big part of our lives.
A
Wait, Mo. The girl's name. What's Dwayne Johnson's name? Of course. Sorry, I was like, why is the movie named after him? No, it's named after the girl. Of course.
B
Yeah. So, like, that's the sort of stuff I should be going to.
A
I'm actually really shocked that there's never been a donkey spin off. He is far and away, like, the breakout star of Star all. Everything that people quote from Shrek is from him. And in the morning, I'm making waffles. It's. And I watched Eddie Murphy's documentary, which, you guys know, I love to bring up up. And I know how much, you know, Shrek is, like, beloved to him because it makes him so much money and he never has to leave the house. It's literally a dream job. So Slay. Yeah, I would love to. Honestly, sometimes, you know who annoys me in Shrek is Shrek. I like Donkey.
B
Yeah, well, he. It's gonna be like an origin story of how a donkey.
A
I love that.
B
Came Donkey. And Eddie Murphy will be voicing Donkey.
A
No, I love that. And you want to know what? Donkey's a good role model for these kids. Like, yes, of course Shrek. But he's, like, low key for Biss and a lot of. And I don't know, the way he lives his life is a little unhealthy. So I think that Donkey, who's, like, this really positive figure is just what the youth needs.
B
Yeah. I like it. We'll watch that in my house.
A
We love a thousand percent.
B
I endorse.
A
Me too.
B
Even like Puss in Boots got his own movies, right?
A
And like, he was so not the breakout character.
B
No, but he had Riz.
A
He did.
B
Yeah. Well, that's exciting for Olivia.
A
Yeah, it is for Olivia.
B
Also, more content news. Vampire Diaries reunion. Nina Debre and Paul Wellesley.
A
Okay, Debre.
B
Are reuniting for you deserve to know adaptation. What's that book?
A
I don't know, but it's an Alex Cooper production.
B
Wait, I like the COVID Not to judge a book.
A
It looks like every cover I know
B
which, like, which is good. Let me go look it up.
A
I don't know the book and I never watch Vampire Diaries so this like, genuinely did not start my heart rate at all. But it to me it's more interesting in like the Alex Cooper saga. I'm so.
B
I didn't realize it was Alex Cooper. I also, when I saw the headline that they're reuniting, I just assumed like vampire Diaries reboot, but no, a brand new suspense novel. Neighbors Gwen, Amy and Lisa share more than play dates and coffee mornings on their tranquil street in East Bethesda. Oh, this is so us.
A
Yeah.
B
They can find their deepest secrets, navigate the challenges of motherhood together, and provide a support system that seems unbreakable. But when Gwen's husband. I don't want to spoil it, but it's a thriller I'm reading.
A
I think Nina's probably Gwen.
B
I'm reading that.
A
Yeah, this is an Alex Cooper production. So. Yeah, I never watched. I like this does nothing for me. Like, I don't know the book. I don't know Vampire Diaries, but you can't keep a good girl down. Like, sorry. Say what you guys want about Alex Cooper. Like she does not give a. Yeah,
B
wait, I didn't even see that. It's a. Oh, yeah. Unwell production. Okay, cool. Well, I just have a new book to read. Even though I started the new redheads book. We're reading the new Ann Patchett novel because we're very like intelligent women.
A
What's in Patchett? Am I supposed to know what that is?
B
She's just like a very high brow author, contemporary author, you know, like, just like, like Slay Mama. And we've like not. We haven't read her for the redheads, but we had read another one of her books, the Dutch House. And so she just came out with a book called Whisper and that's what we're reading this month for the redheads.
A
Okay. Just keeping it literary over there.
B
Like, do it all high. Love everything.
A
Yeah.
B
Read along with us redheads, book club art.
A

You're welcome.
B
Our fifth and final story. Mitchell Musso is explaining why he was
A
so funny that you said this, because I was gonna say, did you see Mitchell Muso went on a podcast.
B
Mitchell Musso went on a podcast and explained why he declined to do the Hannah Montana reunion. So he went on the Joe Vulpis podcast, and he said he wanted the anniversary to include the actors stepping back into their roles. But when it wasn't presented that way, he opted not to participate. He said when he was asked, like, of what he would want to Pastorals he'd want to step back into, he said, probably Hannah with everybody. I wanted it to be like that too, for the 20th anniversary. The kid in me was, like, banking on it. I can't wait for us all to be on set again. And it just didn't work out that way. Do something other than what was done. Set's still there. He said, they just did it differently, and it is what it. They did it differently and it. And it is what it is, but it wasn't the right thing. And I was busy doing something that was more important. Right. But it Would have been way more important if it would have just been an episode or a movie or whatever. Of course that would have been more important. It would have been everything. I would have dropped everything. Eat, breathe, sleep, it. I'm there early. I'm flying in three days, I'm gonna be there. Yeah. It didn't turn out that way. Of course. They asked me, but it, like I said, it wasn't presented correctly. And I've been waiting 10 years. You know, the people say. They say 20. My break's been 10. So it's too long of a way to do it in a way that isn't close to, in my opinion. Correct.
A
I'm gonna try and say this in the nicest way possible.
B
That was a struggle. Well, of course.
A
And let's say, like, his retelling of the events is true. They asked him. It wasn't how he envisioned it, and he said no. And this is like, that's what happened. Like, seriously, who the do you think you are? Like, you're telling me you declined this because, like, your artistic vision for what the production have been didn't align with, like, Disney and Miley Police. Like, okay, so don't come. Like, you're only. Who do you think you're punishing us? I didn't even know you weren't there. Like, this is so strange. I have to imagine he's lying about even being asked. Like, I don't think he's, like, Disney approved anymore. He had, like, a run in with the law, and he was very manic on this episode. Like, it was really.
B
I mean, even just reading that was a struggle.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. I feel like he was asked, but also, that's me just, like, believing what he says. And I guess the way that it was presented wasn't. Wasn't compelling enough for him to take time away from his busy schedule.
A
He said he was working on something, like, really important, genuinely for Mitchell. Musa, what is more important than the Hannah Montana reunion?
B
No, but he said that if it was, you know, another episode done in his artistic way, that would have been more important. I don't know. These are, like, the ravings of a madman.
A
It's exactly. I also feel like Emily Osment not being there and Mitchell Musso being there would have been bad. Like, I feel like once Emily couldn't have come, Mitchell's invitation was rescinded.
B
Did. Was Rico there? No, he's.
A
No.
B
For school.
A
The Hat of Montana special, like, was good, but it was missing a lot of stuff.
B
Yeah. Yeah. I guess it wouldn't have made it any better for me to see those characters, but it just would have felt more like everybody's still good and, you know, happy.
A
I didn't want to make up the fact that he was arrested. He was. He was arrested in 2023. According to police, he allegedly took a bag of chips from a hotel market without paying, became verbally abusive when asked to pay, was found outside by officers who said he showed sign of intoxication and then was arrested on charges including public intoxication and theft under a hundred dollars and several traffic related violations. He was released after posting a thousand dollar bond. In a statement released afterward, Musso said what I thought had become a harmless prank was in fact misunderstood.
B
I hate when that happens.
A
Then the charges were dismissed a few months later.
B
Okay. Still like erratic stuff.
A
Yeah. I thought it was worse than it was. So maybe like that. That wouldn't get you kicked off the Disney lot.
B
No, no. And it's Disney plus, you know.
A
Yeah, it's for adults. Yeah, we cuss a little.
B
Yeah, they cuss a little.
A
He's just like a crazy one.
B
And it was like an unwell production. Not, you know, they're rated R. It
A
was a gluck luck production.
B
Production. Yeah. So like I think they could handle a little Mitchell.
A
Mitchell's bag of chips. Skipping out on his hotel bill. Not even on a bag of chips. Cracking up. Well, Mitchell Musso, thanks for sharing your truth with us. We have enjoyed it. Let's dive into Queenie. And we need our final segment of the final episode of the week. Jackie and I like to round out the weeks in a more wholesome, very conclusive way. Take a look back. Right. We give out two awards. Queenie of the Week and Weenie of the Week. They're pretty self explanatory. Did you act like a Queenie this week? Well, you might be deserving of Queen of the Week. Did you act like a major weenie this week? Well, you're probably going to be Weenie of the Week now. It's a seven day title. It's not that serious. Don't be upset. Let's dive into Queenie of the Week.
B
Right.
A
We usually do that first. I'll go. My Queenie of the Week is not a person, it's not a place, it is a thing.
B
Is it Granny the Cook?
A
No.
B
Oh, that's mine.
A
No, granted the cook is not. No. While Granny the Cook provides entertainment and joy to few, the thing that I'm making, Queenie of the Week provided entertainment and joy to so many. It was a Patreon episode we recorded yesterday.
B
Oh, my gosh. I wanted. I was gonna bring this up after Queenie and Weenie, so. Perfect.
A
So Jackie and I set out, like, we do five times a month to record a podcast yesterday. We do. We try and come up with a. With, like, funny, different creative ideas.
B
You know, we have some installments we like, but usually I would say four to five of the episodes a month are, like, new, original ideas or vlogs.
A
And one of the ideas that had actually been suggested to us by a Patreon member was going back and listening to Old Dear Toasters episodes and, like, seeing if we. We read the submission, give advice to the girl, and then listen to what we said in, like, 2019 and see if we give the same advice. And we knew we were gonna, like, you know, not probably agree with ourselves, you know?
B
Right.
A
We were just wives then. Now we're mom moms. Where the episode ended up going was so not what I thought was gonna happen. I think that we have never released a funnier podcast episode ever. And I'm not just saying that because it's behind a paywall. Like, I'm sorry. It is. We were. When I got to mahjong, all my eye makeup was off. I looked so scary. We were hysterically crying, laughing so hard. The episode was so. We ended up listening to segments from May 2020, like, after we had been canceled. And so, like, we're listening to this episode where we're just, like, very clearly so afraid to get canceled. Like, we are being so lame and, like, giving the worst advice. I don't want to spoil it. We are laughing so hard. It was therapeutic. We were, like, crying, too. I wasn't sure if I was laughing or crying. It was very cathartic. It was, hands down, the funniest thing I made. When I got home for my dinner last night, I was so tired, I made Ben watch, like, the last 20 minutes. We were howling in bed.
B
Yeah. So here's the thing. It's up to you guys to judge if this is the funniest episode of all time. Like, that's for you to say. What I know is that I have never laughed harder on this show than recording that episode. I had a cramp. I had a cramp.
A
I think the only time that compares is, like, Robert Flatts.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
That's what I was like. Or like, Queen Elizabeth, Halloween episode.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
In terms of how much I laugh,
B
Robert Flatts was, like, one laugh. Like, this was rolling. Everything was funnier than that.
A
We couldn't talk. Half the episode is silent. We were just laughing.
B
So you guys have to listen to it. Patreon.com the toast. It was. It was hysterical.
A
That was my Queenie, like, yesterday. I was just like, I. I kept thinking about it afterwards and, like, laughing in. In the street.
B
Yeah, no, me too. I watched, like. I didn't have my headphones. I just, like, watched it on silent. I wanted to, like, see us laughing. It was. Was so funny. And. And the comments agree. It's not just like, us thinking we're funny.
A
The reviews are in.
B
The reviews are in. My Queenie is Granny the cook. You know, she's had a big week. I think people really thought it was so funny. The whole. Because it is so funny when you think about that she's Granny to cook and the fact that by Friday she's made it to the show, you know, just sort of coincidentally, I think is very special. And I'm glad that Granny's had her shine.
A
I'm glad. You know what? Granny's deserve love, too.
B
They do now.
A
My weenie of the week is actually somebody who embodies the word weenie, so textbook definition. And you know what? He could have been weenie of the Week last week, but I gave Grace I wanted to see part two of that DoorDash commercial now that I've seen it. And then the reports that he's upset about the Father's Day. Like, this has been such a bad month for Brooklyn Beckham. I didn't think I could hold a lower opinion of him, but I. I keep finding myself holding it. I think he's a loser. I think he's a spoiled brat that I think he's not smart like that. That was not a good move. I think he's so disrespectful, and I think he's a weenie.
B
I agree with that. I was also, when I was thinking about, like, Noah Khan's song yesterday, it's like he writes a song like that for his mom and like, Brooklyn Black, I'm like, does that. Does a door to commercial, like, sick.
A
Even though he doesn't need the money.
B
Sick. Even though, like, he should be.
A
He's a nepo son and a nepo husband.
B
He should be in the homicide and his mother should be the moon.
A
Absolutely. No. It's disgraceful.
B
Disgraceful. My weenie is a callback to. I remembered who I wanted to weenify at the beginning of the week, and it's the girls in the villa shouting, fuck you, I'm Casa.
A
And doing Splits. Kenzie was a runner up. But so much has happened since that episode.
B
Yeah, but it's like, I, you know, the weenie dumb was like, that moment. That moment was incredibly weenie. And I don't want to say, like, Kenzie's weenie, because I think she has good moments and bad moments, but, like,
A
that moment, another moment that deserves weenie is Anaya saying, I miss my man. Like, that was genuinely shocking.
B
Yeah, that. That was hard to watch.
A
Lots of moments worth crowning. But Brooklyn and Kenzie take it all.
B
Brooklyn and what are they calling it? The Clam Slam.
A
The Clam Slam heard round the world. The thing is, like, later on in that orgy challenge, when she had to do her dance, like, I understood why she was, like, like, upset. She didn't get, like, she has this dance, like, choreographed and prepared, and she was practicing it before she knew the guys were going to Castle. So, like, I understood why she just wanted to get her splits out. Like, she's proud of it.
B
Yeah. No, and. And, yeah. And I think that, like, you know, other girls, they have this or they have that, and, like, what she has is, like, she's an amazing dancer and she can do the splits, and, like, that's her moment to shine. I'm glad she, like, admitted that she was, like, I was excited to show off because, like, that is the truth. You were about to show off. And the fact that it was taken away from her, like, I think was just really hard for her to process because she was about to, like, like, you know, probably rise the ranks a little bit.
A
Yeah. Get higher Q score.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, that's our show. It's been a great week. It really has. Next week is a little. What. What days are we doing shows next week?
B
Just Monday, Tuesday, and actually, I'm out on Monday.
A
Oh, yeah?
B
Yeah, I'm out on Monday.
A
Oh, let me see if I can find. I'll bring Ben, but let me see if I can bring, like, a party co host.
B
Yeah, I meant if anyone's remind you
A
that I took off, I totally forgot. So I'll find someone. So Monday is co host. That'll be fun. Tuesday is togetherness together. And then we're off for the holiday weekend.
B
And we're back.
A
We'll be back on the following Monday together, in person, filming live from the Hamptons.
B
So swirly Summer.
A
Great summer.
B
Swirly Summer. Next Monday.
A
That's very exciting.
B
Yeah.
A
