A
The best five things you need to know.
B
We'll start your day off swirly. It's the Toast.
A
They sound amazing.
B
Welcome back to the Toast and happy Thursday. It's the latter half of the week. Be grateful.
A
You know, I am grateful. We are also simpatico. I don't know if you noticed.
B
Yeah.
A
Pink sweaters, creamy pants. Creamy white pants with a light shoe to match.
B
Yeah.
A
So.
B
Except my. My shoes are not made the old way and sold the new way. I know yours are.
A
No, these are not mjemmy.
B
Oh.
A
These are a brand called Margot. Have you heard of it?
B
No. Tell me more.
A
It's very fine shoe.
B
Okay. I have so much I want to talk to you about.
A
We have a lot to discuss today.
B
We do?
A
Yeah. Because Kylie was on Jake, Shane and I stayed up. Literally. I thought it came out at noon pm. I don't know why. I just like, assumed that. And then I was playing much, so I was like, oh, my gosh, I missed it. And then at night I'm like, you know, I'm gonna watch it on Netflix. I got in bed at like 9:45. I turned it on. It didn't come out yet. It came out at 7pm Pacific Time, 10pm Eastern Time. So I sat there for 15 minutes, didn't let myself get stressed.
B
Of you to have waited up.
A
And I was first. Click. Yeah. First. If I could comment, I would have commented first.
B
Yeah, right, right, right. Oh, I didn't know that, like, it was that type of affair that we were like, waiting up till 10pm to watch. I haven't watched it. I'm like, I'm shocked that you stayed up.
A
Yeah, no, I could stay up till 10 to watch something. I've been looking forward to it all day. And I know that if I didn't watch it, like, when it comes out that I. And I started to see clips of it and everything, I would have, like, felt like I already watched it and I wanted to have, like, the full experience.
B
Oh, I guess. I guess that makes sense. I watched the Real Housewives of Rhode island last night, which, like, people have been begging me to do. And I'm so glad that agent, like, I had watched the first episode. I thought it was good, but it's, like, hard to get into, like, a whole new place. All these new people, they all look the same. Yeah. Like, it's just. It's so. It's honestly so Much work. Try being an influencer for a day. Try it. But I. Ben was out last night, so I watched like, three more episodes,
A
getting, like, insane reviews. Like, everyone's saying, like, sort of like slammu, where it's like, this is the greatest reality tv. Like, reality TV is back. And so I understand why you watch it. And I'll probably watch it too. I do have. I am catching some flights this weekend, so I might try and watch it on my plane rides.
B
So I watched, I think, the first four episodes, and I don't want to, like, give my. I don't want people to spoil it for me in the comments because I feel like something really crazy happens. It's really good. And the only thing is that, like, Ashley, I can. Eddie is so out of place on this show. Not only, like, she's a part of, like, the younger. There's, like, an older group and a younger group, and she's part of the younger group, but she has, like, no ties to this group, no ties to Rhode Island. She's, like, sharing her personal story. And, like, while I'm sorry that you're having a hard time, like, I really don't see how it's relevant to the show. Like, she's supposed to be bringing, like, the secret lives of Mormon wives energy. Like, young mom talking about, like, balancing it all. Her husband, like, is trying to earn a living not because they need the money, but just to, like, make himself
A
feel good, feel like a man.
B
And I don't know if the point of the show is to make me hate Jared Hybon, but I do like him and his.
A
And Ashley.
B
I. I don't hate Ashley. I feel bad for Ashley. It's like she's home alone all day with the kids and she's the one earning the living. But, like, it just doesn't take as much time out of the day as his does. And so it's like.
A
But so they're. They're, like, fine for money.
B
Yeah, it's not about money. It's about purpose, which I understand. But, like, if your purpose is leaving your home, your wife at home all day while your wife also pays the bills, like, yeah, it's actually. It's jarring. Like, it's very startling. I hate him. Yikes. Yeah. Yeah. I actually did not see that for myself. And I just think that, like, their storyline and their contributions thus far. Again, I'm only on the fourth episode. I don't see how it's relevant. All these people, like, they went to middle school together. Like, at least is telling a story. And he used to be married to my Spanish teacher. Like, it's so interconnected, and that's what's actually really great. Like, you know, those people didn't, like, show up to film together. Like, they've known each other for.
A
And they don't care if they hurt each other's feelings. Like, it doesn't.
B
My mother's friends with her sister. Like, it's so connected. And Ashley, I just feels like a really random addition. And they did this game where it's like, you know, you pick a question out of the box, and the question.
A
Truth box.
B
Yeah. The question is, like, you know, everyone has skeletons. You know, you had an affair. Your. Your boyfriend has another girlfriend, and Ashley's was, when did you lose your virginity? Which I guess, like, in the bachelor days, like, she was one of the virgins, which was crazy at the time. But, like, in reality tv, like, we don't care that you lost your virginity at 29. Like, that's not even crazy.
A
It's, like.
B
It's not crazy, but I'm saying, like, that was her thing. The other ones was, like, pictures of your husband and his mistress.
A
That she's still, like, riding that. That. That's her, like, really big central trauma. I saw a clip of her. I don't know if it's part of what you've already seen yet or not, but it's not a spoiler. And she's, like, breaks down crying because she's, like, talking about how everybody else has, like, these really, like, terrible, traumatic things that have happened. And, like, she doesn't have anything like that. And, like, it makes her so scared for, like, whenever that does happen. Like.
B
Like, no, I haven't seen that. Yeah, that's what I mean. Like, her, like, seriously, her contributions feel so bizarre and random on the show. And there is, like, this younger crew, Rosie and Kelsey, and they got crazy going on. Like, Rosie, like, is, like, was waiting for the call from Andy Cohen, and she got it, and she's not giving. Like, she's. She will not be kicked off the show. Like, if there's a stone to turn, she will turn it. And then Kelsey, obviously, she's the polygamist. She's wildly interesting. Yeah. So she's just, like, Ashley's, like, not inherently interesting. Like, her life is just, like, very normal.
A
Yeah. Which is nice. I feel like they were probably trying to court, like, the Bachelor viewers by bringing in a name like that. And it is interesting, but to a point. Yeah. But if it doesn't actually work on the show. It doesn't work on the show, so
B
I need to get all caught up on that. But my contemplate, like, I'm feeling so overwhelmed. Last night, like, Ben was gone having dinner with his mom. So I was like, okay, I can either read Strangers Bell Burden, or start Rhode island, because that's. Everyone's been asking me to do. So I did start that, but I realized now my book plate is kind of growing because I realized. I think maybe you were talking about this when you were like, whose book did I say I wanted to read? Is it Hayden Panettiere?
A
Is. It's not, but I do want to read it. I'm gonna actually add to my Goodreads.
B
She went on Jay Shetty, and, you know, I forgot she. There's so many eras of Hayden Panettiere. She was talking about Nashville for me. Like, she will always be raising Helen. Bring it on. But she was also, like, one of the global faces for, like, a decade of Neutrogena. And she was telling the story on Jay Shetty podcast that when she went on Live with Kelly and Ryan or whatever it was back then.
A
Kelly.
B
Kelly. Maybe it might have been Regis and Kelly. I forget. She, like, was talking about. She's one of the most vocal celebrities who talks about postpartum depression because she had, like, a really severe case of it, and she had literally been with the brand for 10 years, and they fired her because of that.
A
And I heard they're getting dragged, as they should.
B
And, like, you know what? Your wipes are trash, too.
A
Yeah, I use real now. I just want to say I use real every night. And I bought new wipes, and I haven't even opened them. Okay.
B
Like, it's kind of like the Ben Platt effect. Like Neutrogena. You're wrong for that. But I do still love your wipes because I use them this morning.
A
No, no, I just. I happen to be like, an emerald bomb. Just wait till I have to wash my face at the sink where I was going in the garbage.
B
Yeah.
A
And, like, I'm sure the people who work there then, like, don't work there now, but, like, of course they need to give her $100 million to make it right.
B
Then commercials.
A
Give her $10 million and we'll call it even.
B
I feel like her book is probably, like, 8,000 thousand pages. Like, she has so many, even if she was just, like, a successful child star. That's an interesting book. Her postpartum depression journey. Very lots to discuss there. It's probably an anthology.
A
Yeah, it Hasn't I just added it to my Goodreads?
B
Oh, it hasn't come out.
A
So.
B
Strangers, Bell Burden, Lena Dunham. Like, I have a lot of books to read.
A
Yeah. Yeah. So, like I said, I don't think you're gonna be reading Strangers, Bell Burden.
B
I am. It's gonna be my first one.
A
Oh, it's gonna be your first one?
B
Yes.
A
And now it's like, what if you don't even like it? Which I.
B
What's that to like, I could see
A
you not liking it.
B
It's short. I can't hate a short book. Like, thanks for being mindful of my time, Belle.
A
Yeah, I think we should get into the stories because there's a lot to discuss today, and we need to get. I just want to talk about Kylie and Jake, Shane. Like, that's just top of mind for me, my queen.
B
Okay, but, like, let's not rush. I'm not done.
A
Okay. What else do you want to talk about?
B
Let me think. Like, what happened to me last night? One of the most foul dinners. Like, it was so upsetting. I waited so long for it, and it was just disgusting.
A
Oh, I, like, ordered last night, which, you know, I never do, and I always regret when I do, and it was so good.
B
Ugh.
A
And then I was just, like, I
B
was full, but, like, from garbage.
A
Ugh. Yuck.
B
Oh. I'm actually doing something major today. I'm taking. I'm literally taking control of my life.
A
I'm doing something major today and taking control of my life as well. What are you doing?
B
I'm finally going to the doctor for my thumb. You guys know I haven't had good, like, mobility in my left thumb for about three years.
A
Oh, my God. Speaking of, like, random fake ailments.
B
Oh, my God. What does Kylie have coccidentia?
A
Kylie is talking about her pregnancy, like, ailments, and she had really bad sciatica in her second pregnancy, and she said her back has not been the same since she was pregnant with air. She was talking about how she had lower back pain and sciatica. I'm, like, my sciatica queen. She. She was actually. We'll talk about it in the stories, but she was talking a lot about her pregnancies, which I was glad for, because I do feel like when you go on a video man's podcast, you don't talk about women's issues, like, because why would you? But for some reason, they, like, stumble down the rabbit hole of, like, how she fared in both of her pregnancies. What she weighed at the top of each of her pregnancies.
B
Women love to go on Jake Shay's podcast and talk about how much weight they gained and how much they weighed. Sophia Richie also telling everyone what she weighed on Jake Shane's podcast. I love that. I do need Kylie to go on, like, a women's podcast, like, to talk about all this stuff. Like, maybe she md because there's so
A
many follow up questions that I was like. And I like, you know, and I feel that way. I. I guess, like, people must feel that way when they listen to podcasts in general. I don't always listen, but whenever I do, that's my feeling. It's like, wait, what about that? That. But it's like someone else's conversation. They didn't want to go down that rabbit hole.
B
So all that to say. I'm really looking forward to having mobility back in my thumb. Although, based on my research via chat gbt, the issue that I have, like, needs to be fixed with hand surgery.
A
Well, let's see, let's see.
B
But wouldn't that be crazy? I've never had surgery ever.
A
You're not getting it. Like, if you have to have surgery, you're not gonna get it. You're not.
B
But I just never use my thumb.
A
Yeah, you're doing fine. Look at you.
B
I'm actually not.
A
Look at you.
B
You know, I dropped Levi once. I don't know if I've ever told Olivia that, but I dropped Levi when he was, like, little. I was trying to be helpful and, like, my thumb gave out. I caught him. I just want to say I caught him, like, within an inch of the floor. But, like, that's when I knew my thumb was a really big problem. We were in the Hamptons. It was like two summers ago. Sorry, Olivia.
A
But you've been fine with Ruby.
B
You know, sometimes, you know, the thumb gets in the way. Yes, I've been fine, technically, but what, I have to wait for something to happen? I'm telling you, not having mobility in my left thumb, plus the coccidinia, I live a very difficult life.
A
Well, let's see what the doctor says. I'm not gonna make a decision before, like, you even get.
B
But because, you know, like, before I got pregnant, I was like, you know what? Let me fix this before I become a mother. Like, I'm gonna need my left thumb. I. I went, I got an X ray. And they were like, there's nothing wrong with your hand. I'm like, are you sure? And they were like, it's probably a nerve issue. And nerves don't come up in X rays. So now I got to get this thing called an emg. And it's just such a pain in the ass. I just need to get the. And I just know I'm gonna go to the doctor today, and they're gonna be like, well, you have to come back for your emg. Like, schedule it. And it's like, why am I here?
A
Well, that 1000% that's what's gonna happen today.
B
So annoying. I know.
A
Well, speaking of mobility, I'm looking forward to a lack of mobility in my forehead because I'm getting Botox today.
B
I go to the place that I went to.
A
I did for the first time in over two years, I'm getting Botox. I can't friggin wait.
B
I can't wait to be, like, so
A
confused by you, by how I'm feeling.
B
Yeah.
A
Is she happy? Is she sad? Is she mad? Is the sun in her eyes? We don't know.
B
I saw this, like, actually misogynistic reel about, like, moms getting Botox being like, we're teaching our children. Like, we're not teaching them how to emote the girl off.
A
Seriously, shut up. Like, also, personally, even though I think, like, that's a horrible argument. Like, please, we know how to, like, you can remote on the inside.
B
I also like other parts of your face that can move besides, because I
A
only do my forehead so they'll be able to see for my crow's feet and all the other wrinkles mommy has going on.
B
Yeah, actually, sorry. The only thing I can't show is sadness. And that's not the type of energy I'm bringing to motherhood anyway.
A
And actually, the energy that the Botox takes out for me is like rbf. And it's like, it's this constant rbf. When I'm not even mad, Zach will be like, what's wrong? And I'm like, this is the best day ever. What are you talking about?
B
Right. So sorry. That, like, we're just removing the fabitza element.
A
Yeah. They're gonna see a happy mommy all the time.
B
Good.
A
As they should.
B
I'm excited for you.
A
I'm so excited. So we both have big things on the horizon.
B
Lots of mobility coming into question.
A
Yeah. To mobilize or not to mobilize.
B
Also known as mobilize, Realize mobilize. That's so Kylie.
A
That's so. Did Jake ask her about that the are realizing stuff? No, surprisingly, because he really went into the archives, like, no, not. We did not go deep no, no, sir.
B
I don't mean. I mean deep into history.
A
We went back.
B
I love that.
A
Yeah. Like, all. A lot of different eras. The mall appearances. He. He didn't know that they were paid to be on Kik. But I also.
B
I mean, kick k I k. Yeah,
A
they were calling it Kik.
B
They were. Am I wrong? Maybe there's two.
A
One was the one the Kardashians were paid to be on, and the other was, like, an actual app that people were using.
B
Okay. It was. I think it was probably Kik and then K e K. Well, no, I
A
feel like the Kardashian ones was like, I forget what it was called, but in this. In the captions, because I watched it with captions. It was K E E K, but they had a lot of typos in their captions. It's fine.
B
Okay.
A
Okay. They talked about that he didn't know that the Kardashians had been paid to be on that app, which I felt like, you know, a lot of people did. But he also was in high school when she dropped to our daughter.
B
How old is he? I thought we were, like, around the same age.
A
No, we were at.
B
We were at the super bowl when she found out.
A
When she dropped to our daughter.
B
Really? I remember being, like, the back of a cab to the Super Bowl. You entered something weird. I took an Uber to work this morning. Yeah, that's right. I was lazy. And he was like, can you put your seatbelts on? And I was like, yeah, sure. But it's just, like. It's weird because I would never get into a car. Like, a personal vehicle or, like, if Ben's driving my own car, I would never get it without a seat belt. It doesn't even occur to me. I don't even think there are seat belts in New York City cabs, people. Can you put your seatbelts on? I was like, oh, yeah, for sure. And I just felt, like, so constricted. I felt like I was being kidnapped. It was so weird.
A
It is weird. And it's yuck, too, to touch it.
B
Oh, I didn't think about that.
A
I feel that I don't want to touch anything.
B
You really can't drive that fast in the city, so, like, I just feel like it's really not a hazard.
A
Yeah.
B
Although you should always wear your seatbelt. Of course. I just felt like it was so crazy. I felt like I was getting in trouble. He was like, put your seatbelt on. I was like, oh, yeah, for sure.
A
But he's right.
B
Oh, I feel sick.
A
Why?
B
I feel sick and I actually blame you.
A
Okay.
B
Because I feel like you've ushered me through this beautiful season of motherhood quite perfectly. I have quite. Actually no notes for you, but you did not tell me.
A
But thank you so much. Let's end the show. That's really beautiful. Thank you so much for listening to the toast.
B
But one thing you just sort of failed to mention, like, something I should be looking out for in a milestone that I missed was Hebrew birthdays. Oh, today's the 27th of ER. And I didn't know Ruby's Hebrew birthday is the 21st of ER. Like, I didn't celebrate a Hebrew birthday.
A
It's so confusing because also so often. And last year too, the Hebrew birthdays were after the. The secular birthday.
B
So.
A
Yeah, no, that's not something that I've. That I'm up on.
B
Well, I feel sick and I blame you. So.
A
Okay, I'll. I'll take that. And it makes me feel better. That wasn't like, so close to remembering to remind you because that's more frustrating than, like, than. Oh, I didn't even know that that was happening.
B
Spacing.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
Okay. That's true.
A
So sorry for the thing I had no clue about.
B
That's okay.
A
But. Happy Yom. Who let it. Belated Ruben Yum.
B
Who let it. Samaya.
A
Now, without further ado to Juju, because we both have to make it to our mobility appointments.
B
Yeah, we do. Even though months later, I'm good.
A

Kylie Jenner on therapists. She reveals that she was on bed rest during her practice, her second pregnancy with air. She said he was falling out. She said that she was like 2-3 cm dilated for the last.
B
Sounds like sur clash.
A
It does sound. It sounded like me for the last two months of her pregnancy. So she really couldn't leave the house. She also shared that she had really bad sciatica, lower back pain, and she gained 65 pounds in her pregnancy. She said when she gave birth to stormy, she weighed 200 pounds. And when she gave birth to air, she weighed 210 pounds.
B
I just, like, don't believe that.
A
No, I believe it because I. She's not a liar.
B
No, I know, but, like, just visually.
A
Visually, it's the most inspiring thing I've ever heard.
B
I just love this. I. I love this.
A
Yeah, it was really exciting when they started to talk about this.
B
I wouldn't expect that to be, like, conversation fodder.
A
Yeah. I was surprised that, like, he was interested in these things. But then, of course, like, when he heard, like, all the weight gain, he was like, oh, my God, what were you eating? And it was like, what were. Like, of course, like, what were you.
B
Whose business is that?
A
Like, like, no, no. And it's like. Like, you don't even have to eat a lot to get to that size.
B
Like, if you're telling me, like, you
A
just eat normal and all of a
B
sudden you're £200, you're literally.
A
But she was also talking about keeping her first pregnancy very private and, like, why she did it, which we know. Like, she didn't want outside influences. She want. But she also.
B
And I also feel like at that time, she had such a complicated relationship with her level of fame.
A
And she was 19.
B
Right. I feel like now she's much more settled and, like, leans into it, but it happens so quickly for her, she was, like, this, like, a relevant sister, and then she was the most famous and the richest one. And so I feel like. Like, she's sort of healed. Obviously, growing up, like, heals a portion of that. But I feel like she doesn't feel that way anymore about fame.
A
I actually think, you know, it all worked out.
B
Whatever.
A
But she did explain, express what seemed to be a little bit of regret for doing it that way.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. I think it was, like, very hard on her to be so private and to be so interesting about and isolated. And she said when we posted the video, she cried for three hours afterwards, like, just of the weight, like, being lifted off of her chest. And, like, oh, my God. Made her realize that maybe she didn't have to do it that way.
B
Oh, well, that's really sad.
A
Yeah, it is really sad because I understand completely, like, why at the time, it felt like the only way to do it. And she was also talking about how she didn't have security. Security till she had Stormy, because she just wanted to, like, live a normal life, like, be out in the world on her own, driving herself. But, like, paparazzi used to follow her everywhere and, like, say the nastiest things. To her. And she's, like, so young, like, in her car, and there's like, six guys around her telling her she's a. And it's like, how do you pull out your car? Like, it's just, like, scary.
B
Yeah.
A
So she was talking, like, a lot about that time she. Jake was like. And I. He was like, can I ask this? Like, were you, like, freaking out when you found out that you were pregnant?
B
Like, right. Because it was like a teen pregnancy.
A
Yeah. And she was like, yes, but I am. I knew, like, instinctively that this was what I wanted to do, and I was going to do this whether I had to do by myself or, like, whatever. Like, I.
B
Did she talk about Travis?
A
She did not talk about him. She mentioned.
B
I wonder what their co parenting relationship is. Like, like, just storm aloo. Like, spend the night at Travis's. I never, like, he's never around. And you know the Kardashians, they love to keep, like, former boyfriends.
A
And we don't know that he's never around. That we don't know.
B
I just, like, never see him on the show.
A
Yeah.
B
Chris is ever wishing him a happy birthday.
A
You know, she doesn't.
B
I feel like she doesn't.
A
She did not mention Travis. She did not mention Timothy. Except one time she said that she's in a relationship because she was being asked about, like, how she, like, her hobbies and stuff. And she was like, you know, I only have so much time. Like, I'm working so much and then I'm with my kids and then I'm in a relationship and I have my friends and my family and, like, there's only so much time for all of that. So, like, that was.
B
I'm sure that that was like a no go for. Of course, for Jake because he would have brought it up.
A
Like, so many things are a no go, but it's like, don't go on a podcast. No, no, that's not what I was going to say. Go on a podcast. Like, why do we have to know about every facet of your life? Like, we don't. We. Like, of course I want to know. Like, please tell us about Timothy. But, like, why can't you just also not, you know, which is what she's doing. And I would rather her go on a podcast and have all of these
B
guardrails then not go on at all.
A
Have nothing, you know?
B
Yeah, no. And I think she's at a place where, like, she will only go something that, like, will respect her boundaries. And, like, maybe for a while she thought she like, couldn't do stuff like that if she wasn't going to be open.
A
And I feel like you can do a little bit and go on, like, safe places, like Chloe and I guess Kid Cudi, where you can open up a little bit about the things that you want to talk about. And it's okay if you don't want to talk about other stuff. It's a bummer for me. Like, all I want to hear about the funniest part that was so unintentionally funny. They do this segment at the end where they do, like, Dear Toasters, where people, like, write in and she's giving advice and, like, she was giving a prescription.
B
I think you forget I was also on Therapist.
A
Oh, you were? Oh, my God.
B
Have you not seen my episode? It's some of my best work.
A
Oh, my God. No, I haven't, but now I have to. Okay, so, okay.
B
There are certain moments when, like, I was like, I know that this is iconic. Like, I need to be. And I was opera. And by the way, I was 1 pound. It was the same weekend I ran the 5k. It was a busy weekend.
A
I need to watch your episode because this was the first episode of Therapist that I watched. So I also was just experiencing a new podcast, a new format. It's also so funny to me to, like, watch someone, like, reading their ads. I don't know why it, like, feels like watching you get yelled at by your parents.
B
Like, wait, but she wasn't there. No, no, no. I was just, like.
A
It was just, like, funny.
B
Who were the sponsors?
A
Seatgeek. He's going to a Lord concert. That. He was very excited. Venmo. He loves his Venmo credit card.
B
He's a big Venmo partner.
A
I think those were the only two. I think it was just like, yeah. And then. And it's just funny to, like, watch a podcast. And so. Oh, this was the thing, the advice segment. There were. There were a bunch of different questions about, like, how do I find my personal style? It's just, like, random questions that were benign. But then there was one that was like, I'm so scared to, like, put myself out there in relationships of, like, fear of rejection. Like, I just have no confidence. Like, blah, blah, blah. And, like, Jake was like, oh, my God, this is me. Like, I'm so scared of rejection. Like, oh, I can't. And Kylie literally did not say one thing. She did not offer. She could not relate. She did not offer one piece of advice. She goes, like, what's the next one?
B
Dead that's such a slang.
A
It was really, really funny. It was also just really cute because he was, like, so nervous, and, like, he couldn't stop telling her how nervous he was. And she was like, you're doing amazing, and she's really a big fan of his. She was just like, you are the cutest person on the Internet. Like, I love your thirst traps. I love your podcast. I also.
B
Oh, my God. That's like. That's insane.
A
It was insane. She was so sweet to him, and he was like, you're so nice and, like, not into. Like, you are intimidating because of who you are, but, like, you're so sweet and, like, you know, like the popular girl who makes everyone feel special.
B
Oh, that's so cute. That's a good.
A
Yeah.
B
Analogy.
A
And she was like, no, it's really genuine. She's like, I don't want to be intimidating, and, like, I can't imagine what it's like for her to just, like, be her. Like, she's the biggest person in the world amongst, like, Taylor Swift, but she's just, like, a girl. You know, Taylor Swift is, like, singing and on stage and, like, Kylie just.
B
And it's like this, like, prolific historic songwriter. Kylie's like, literally just a person, and
A
she's just, like, famous for being a person and being herself. And it's just like. It was. It was very, like, humanizing. It was very cute. There were a lot of, like, cute bits that, you know, they were talking about how much they have a cigarette. There those two are. Oh, she's inviting him over and cooking for him.
B
Kylie likes a cigarette.
A
Kylie loves a cigarette. There they had. They were having one after they finish recording. I'm cracking. Yeah. They drank red wine. They're both gonna have a Euro summer, of course, with cigarettes. But no, she invited him multiple times to come to her house, and she wants to make him fried chicken, candied sweet potatoes and green bean casserole, like, to prove to him that he could like Thanksgiving food. By the way, at this point, you don't have to watch because I'm literally telling you. But I will say, the interview started, and I got a little nervous because they started talking about video games because she said, like, she just got a switch. He was like, oh, my God. I. I was thinking about getting a switch. What do you play? And so she's talking about how she plays a game called Zelda. And he was like, what's that?
B
And she starts, oh, I've heard of Zelda.
A
She starts describing this video game, and I'm like, no, no, I'm not.
B
This is not what I thought.
A
I got, like, nervous for him because I'm like, wait, this sucks. Like, like. And if I were him, I would have been stressing, like, oh, my God, Kylie Jenner's here. And I have her describing a video game, like, Pivot.
B
Yeah, right. But it was just, like.
A
It was just Cutie was just, like, giving her space to talk about the things that she, like, likes.
B
I can't believe Kylie's doing podcasts. Like, I just want to put it out there. Like, I need her to come on the toes. I have so much to talk to her about. Like, being a Nick's widow. We live the same life, me and Kylie being teen moms.
A
And then she was saying that she, like, likes podcasts and she's been enjoying doing podcasts. And I just, like, wish he asked, like, what do you listen to? I just wish.
B
I know I just scared Kylie. She's just everything.
A
She was so everything. And she doesn't even have to do the most. She's just, like, talking herself, sharing little anecdotes. There were a lot of anecdotes that, like, we've heard before. Like, a lot of things. You know, King Kylie era stuff, which I've, like, personally moved on from. But it. But, you know, as once you get her, like, in the groove, like, she's just, like, she has so much Riz, it's off the charts. Like, when did that happen?
B
The Riz? Yeah.
A
The reason the hair and the body and the. And the smiling and the. And the hands.
B
Like, the hair. She's literally the Rizzler.
A
She is the Rizzler. Like, she's just, like, the most beautiful woman in the world. Oh. And then she kept talking about how, like, she doesn't leave her house a lot. And he was like, why? And she was like, when I'm in LA and, like, I know I'm gonna leave the house, like, I'm gonna get paparazzi. And, like, so I have to, like, put on an outfit, and I just, like, can't, like, think of an outfit or, like, I just don't want to, like, get dressed or, like, she was also talking about how sometimes she, like, can't find an outfit, and, like, she'll take 40 minutes, and then when that happens, she's just like, forget it. I'm just wearing my favorite jeans and, like, a tank topper T shirt. But it's like, how does she not able to find an outfit? She has the most perfect.
B
Unlimited. Yeah, Unlimited money. Unlimited Wardrobe and a perfect body and.
A
And there's.
B
If she can't do it, there's seriously no hope for the rest of us.
A
Personal style and confidence and charisma and
B
swagger and probably a team of stylists. Like, everything fits her.
A
And the best.
B
Too long.
A
The best body in the world. So, like, what is she put on that? She says, like, I'm not feeling this. I don't. Like, how. Like, how is that.
B
She's just a girl. She's just a girl.
A
I don't understand how that's possible. Like, what could she possibly put on her body that, like, didn't look good?
B
It definitely makes me think, like. And the thing is, I should never leave the house because if she can't right then.
A
And we see so often her wearing just, like, jeans.
B
Jeans. But it looks so thoughtful. No.
A
So it's like, she's having that experience, like, almost every day.
B
Yeah.
A
Almost every day. Especially when getting dressed for the next game. She really doesn't know what to wear.
B
Yeah. Even though, like, I feel like it's always easier to get ready for the next game because, like, you just need to wear, like, a Knicks jacket or, like, a shirt or a hat. Yeah.
A
Yeah. So I just. I was shocked by that. So I'm like, if you can't get dressed, how can. How do any of us stand a chance?
B
Oh, my gosh. I do kind of do more podcasts, obviously. Like, my first choice is the toast. But just in general. Loved. And I'm curious. Yeah. I guess she's really only going on things that, like, she probably listens to Jake's podcast. Like, things that she finds interesting.
A
Yeah. And I'm sure her friends have been on it. They had positive experiences. It's a safe place. She, like, can trust him to cut out, like, whatever. Or not ask. Whatever.
B
Yeah.
A
Which, by the way, we do the same thing.
B
Yeah. Kylie, just so you know, we'll obviously respect every single one of your boundaries. We'll cut it if you need it to cut it down to 30 seconds. Like, whatever. We'll cut anything you want to cut. If you decide that, like, you hated it and you don't want it to be released, we won't even release it.
A
Yeah. We would literally scrap the whole thing if you asked us to. And that policy goes for everyone. Like, we don't ask questions that they don't want us to ask, and we cut out when people ask us to cut out.
B
Yeah.
A
So we are a safe place.
B
Yeah. Just saying.
A
So. Yeah. I don't feel like you need to watch it now, but let me know if you do. And what.
B
I probably will.
A
Yeah. I'm sure you'll see clips.
B
I just didn't realize it was, like, imminent homework that we had to be doing.
A
I didn't feel an obligation. I felt a desire.
B
It's beautiful.
A
Yeah. No, I was, like, very much sad and excited. Like, my show was on, kids were down. Cup of pretzels.
B
Oh, my God. I also had a cup of pretzels last night.
A
Sparkle water.
B
What kind of pretzels?
A
Pretzel crisps.
B
Very good. But you know what I had that I think is supreme? Honey twist.
A
Honey twist.
B
You love from us? A honey twist pretzel is so good.
A
Yeah. Yeah. I like a pretzel crisp. And now.
B
Yeah. In a red solo cup.
A
Yeah, I do like to dip it sometimes. Not mustard in the middle of the day with. In mustard.
B
That's disgusting.
A
It's really not. Pretzels and mustard is like an old pastime.
B
It's a disgusting pastime.
A
No, it's. It's a classic.
B
Sure.
A
It's as classic as America.
B
Peanut butter and jelly.
A
Are you ready for our next story?
B
Yep.
A
Related to yesterday, speculation. Alex Earl's new Netflix show title revealed. And it's better than anything we thought of. It is true. Earl meets world.
B
It is. Now, I thought it was Earl Girls, but even though that is giving Rural juror. So upon reflection, I don't want that to be the title Earl meets world. It looks really good. They released this cute little trailer. We didn't get a release date yet. It just says, like, coming soon.
A
Yeah. And it's coming soon.
B
And did nobody else know that, like, her mom had a hot ass boyfriend, which I'm glad for. But there was like, this other guy besides the dad, and I'm like, who is that? And then I saw him in. In a picture of Alex. Her dad and the wife, Alex and her mom and then the guy. So I just presume that that's like the mom's boyfriend or her husband. He's so hot. And I just love that for her. Like, I love that for her.
A
Love that for her. And I do feel like the title encapsulates the fact that all the earls are meeting the world and the world is meeting the earls. It's not just about the girls or Alex. I think it's. It's a great title.
B
She's putting a lot of, like, her weight behind. Obviously, it's a big deal. It's a Netflix show. But, like, she's promoting it a Lot. She's hyping it up a lot. Like, I'm sad. Like, my expectations are high.
A
Yeah. No, as she should. You get one shot at a family.
B
You've put the whole Alex Cooper thing, we presume on this. Alex super. Also spotted out.
A
Yeah. I was gonna say it's not a story, but she was at the YouTube up front with her husband. Presenting a strong front, holding hands, not getting divorced.
B
Allegedly.
A
And also announcing people who are not getting divorced.
B
No, of course, of course. Of course. I was kidding. They also announced new programming for unwell YouTube shows.
A
Yeah, unwell Summer Winter Games, Thanksgiving Thrill Game.
B
Yeah. I get the sense that, like, now this is where she's putting all of her eggs, like, creating original reality shows. Like, Unwell was doing a lot of things. I feel like for a while she was, like, wanting to become a big podcast network, and that, like, didn't really work. So now they're doing this, and I. And it's like all YouTube shows. And I get that YouTube is, like, getting their in the game and, like, this is their way, but I just feel like, who wants to watch a TV show on YouTube?
A
Not me.
B
Is it gonna be on YouTube TV also, like. Yeah, I know. She's sort of, like, pioneering this new format.
A
No, watch, like, the way I watch a YouTube video. But, like, I. If there were a piece of programming that I wanted to watch, I would go and watch it on YouTube. Sure. But, like, unless Molly May is on Summer Games, I don't know I'm gonna do that.
B
Yeah. And again, it feels like we were talking the other day about this new genre of reality shows where we're taking people from multiple franchises and making them compete in some sort of thing. This is just feels like rituality retreat. Yeah, yeah. But not in a good way. Like, because Traders is the Dancing with the Stars. Like, that's the top tier. And some of these shows just sound dreadful.
A
These sound better than Reality Retreat. I will say Reality Treat is the absolutely very last one.
B
Lowest. Yeah.
A
And I will say everybody else is sort of fighting it out right now. You know, we have the reality mafia show. Like, we have Wintergate. It's up for the taking. I think it's a good format. Obviously, people want to watch some of this stuff, so everybody's throwing their hat in the ring. And let's see. The cream rises. The cream rises. And is it cream the.
B
We'll find out. The YouTube show that she already had, which was just Unwell Winter Games.
A
Oh, and then she also released, like, a docu series for behind the Met Gala looks. And I wonder if that happened this year at the Met Gala. One of her things coming up is a Met Gala BTS docu series.
B
With who?
A
With their YouTube unwell.
B
No, but I'm saying, like, are they getting ready with people? Is it Fashion Police?
A
I don't know where I saw it. Now I can't find it. But it's not.
B
I just want to say episode.
A
Get it? Probably getting ready with people. Behind the Looks. Etc. It's hosted by Alex. That's what I read.
B
Oh, that's interesting. Episode four of.
A
It's called before the Steps.
B
Oh, okay. Episode four of Winter Games, which I'm gathering there was only four episodes.
A
Okay.
B
Because it came out a month ago, had a million views.
A
Oh, great.
B
Episode three had 1.7. Episode two had a million. And episode one had 1.4.
A
That's pretty good. That's better than, like, some of the stuff on cable.
B
I mean, Real Housewives of New York. It's less views than my Instagram story. Like.
A
Yeah, yeah. Also, the Thanksgiving show that she's doing is called Potters. It's a Traders inspired competition where two secret potsters are planted among a volatile group of reality stars and Internet personalities, each working to sabotage the night from within for a shot at the cash prize. You know, like, if you wanted to, like, like, we could go on stuff like this.
B
No, I'm okay.
A
Right?
B
Yeah, we. Yeah, no, like, we are definitely in the pool of people who might be selected for this new genre of TV shows.
A
Yeah.
B
You guys know I was asked to be on special for thank you. And of course, we could forget the Mass Singer, but.
A
No, I never thought of how this, like, what I was just talking about.
B
I mean, you would be really good at pot stirrer.
A
You think so?
B
You should go on.
A
Should I? It's like Thanksgiving theme. So, like, it's probably like, cozy vibes, like, right.
B
You know, bikinis, necessary.
A
That's what I meant.
B
Yeah, of course.
A
Exactly what I meant.
B
It's like. It's like a swimming challenge. I'm out.
A
I'm cracking up. Should I, like, put yourself forward? Let me call my agent.
B
Jack's on Potster season one, and I
A
think there's, like, a Thanksgiving feast. Like, maybe I could cook. Could you imagine?
B
I don't think that that's a vibe.
A
Could you imagine if I did one of these things?
B
I think you should. I would support that, like, so hard.
A
I think I should just, like, shake it up. You know, sometimes it's just like, what if I just but then you have to like the actual going and doing logistics. And what about my. The kids, I guess. Yeah, they're coming to. Where are we going?
B
Stir in the pod. Yeah, that's the hard part is like the logistics, I guess. If they wanted.
A
If there's a. Okay, if there's a one of these shows, what are we calling them? Like a mix?
B
Let's call it like South Florida retreat. Yeah.
A
No, if there's one that's gonna happen in south Florida, but it's giving bikinis. So. No.
B
So never mind.
A
So never mind. There's one that's happening at like Disneyland,
B
Disney World in the winter. Let me know in January.
A
There probably is, considering how many different permutations of shows are happening.
B
Right. Like this is the new trend. Everyone's trying to be traitors.
A
Yeah. I'm cracking up that we could go on like this.
B
Yeah. But we're not going to, right? Like, please don't make me.
A
I know, I. No, we're not going to. But now, like, just thinking about it is just giving me a chuckle and it's like, it's just fun to think about.
B
Yeah. Although I do feel like, because the Internet is so like group think, I feel like they are gonna have a hard time casting high level people for Internet personalities for these types of shows because everybody's like team Alex Earl.
A
Oh, no. Everybody's thirsty and Alex Earl's not giving them a job.
B
It's so true.
A
So all of you guys who really showed yourselves and you're jealous, right? Yeah.
B
Right. Everybody, like, making tick tocks into your
A
hole because she's still the boss.
B
Heading out paychecks.
A
Are you ready for our next story? You're not, you're not going to want to hear it, but we have to talk about it.
B
What?
A
Kelsey Ballerini and Chase Stokes were reunited and spotted together strolling through the streets of New York City.
B
Yeah, this is really bad. Yeah, it's really bad. Not only for, like, it's bad for her because I don't feel that this is, you know, her end all be all. Someone who cheats on you, someone who publicly embarrasses you. Like, this is not a person who really loves you deeply. So from a relationship romantic standpoint, this is such a bad call. But also like, for some reason. And it's because it's like when people, you know, flip flop back and forth in the public eye, it just like rubs people the wrong way. But this is also like so bad for her Q score. Like, this really turns, like, rubs people the Wrong way in terms of, like, the public perception of it. And I think that, like, it's not good for her career either.
A
Yeah, no, it's not, because it rubs people the wrong way. But also, like, if the songs. And her songs are so mirror images of her life, like, and she drops them, like, the week after she writes them. And so if the songs are about like this right now, like, nobody wants to hear it is the problem. Like, it's not if. Even if she writes a banger, like, it's not really a relatable feeling of, like, going back to, like, the person that everybody. Nobody wants you, like, at a certain point, yeah, he's bad for you. You could write that song. But like this, you know, the beating of the dead horse, nobody wants to hear it.
B
It's so incongruous with this, like, new era she's been. And she moved to New York and all of her content and her interviews has just been about how it's been, like, such a freeing experience to live in a new place by herself, make new friends. And so she's, like, made, you know, 10 steps forward and now 11 steps backwards. Like, it's just. You hate to see it.
A
Maybe she needs your friendship and counsel.
B
I am around. Of course, I do live in.
A
In the.
B
In the bright light, big city. But, you know, it's also like, sometimes, like, people just have to, like, make their own mistakes and, like, learn the hard way. And it's definitely tough to do with so many people watching and criticizing because, like, you know, normal girls do this all the time. They go back to, like, their shitty ex and.
A
Yeah. Yeah, but I expect more of our.
B
I feel like singer songwriters.
A
I feel like the back and forth, like, was fine until a point. And I feel like with them, they've reached that point and now we're past the point. And I feel like with even a
B
normal girl, she's not even sharing any.
A
Girls get to a point with their
B
friends, and her friends are like, girl, I can't.
A
And where it's actually over. Like, when does it just be over?
B
Yeah, I thought it was. I actually really did when she was like, listen, I'm done sharing. Like, I made a mistake. And then, like, she, like, looked so silly because he did, you know, end up doing whatever, and they broke up again. I. It's really crazy.
A
And you know what makes it even sadder? It means that she's not dating Craig Conover.
B
And maybe if she was dating Craig Conover, we wouldn't be in this pickle. And I actually Need Craig to just slide into her dms because, you know, that's how her and Chase met. So, like, she obviously peruses.
A
Yeah. And she, like, knows him from the show, and she bid on him, and, like, he would be.
B
Yeah, she needs to. He needs to send, like, a really slick message. Let's help him think of, like, being, like, just to sort of help her get out of this bind, like.
A
Or he should just ask her out.
B
You know what? I think I need to take matters
A
into my own hands and set them up.
B
I have both of their phone numbers. Just put them in a chat and be like, listen, I think you two should meet.
A
Yeah. You should have.
B
Or.
A
Or you host, like, a dinner party. Like a Shabbat dinner when Craig's in town.
B
Yeah.
A
And invite both of them. I think that's better.
B
That's actually a really good idea.
A
I think that's better.
B
I have to find out when Craig's coming, but if Craig flies in all the time. One thing about Craig.
A
He.
B
He flew. No, you flew in for Ruby's bris. I love that. Like, I just love him.
A
They try to make us hate him, and they could never.
B
Never.
A
Okay, this is a good plan.
B
Yeah.
A
Are you ready for our fourth story?
B
I am.
A
Andy Cohen denies real houses at Beverly Hills fakery after Luis Salcudro awkwardly called him out on Watch It Happens Live.
B
Oh, I'm so glad we're talking about this, because I also want to talk about something that happened on Watch Happens Live last night with Nick Lachey. Did you see that clip?
A
Which. About the plane? Yeah, I didn't see the clip. What happened?
B
So Andy was like, there was a rumor that you actually were on the same flight as Jessica Simpson quite recently. And Nick, who was actually very respectful, was like, yeah, we were on the same flight, and Andy was asking so many questions. So, like, he ended up spilling a little bit of tea, but only because Andy was pushing. The comments were like, nick loves to talk about Jessica. Actually, I felt like it was really pulled out of him because he was being a little confusing because it was like, we were both there with our families, but then Nick was like, yeah, so it was like, Jessica and her mom. And he was like, well, where are the kids? So lo and behold, Jessica flew her kids coach. Well, Nick, Vanessa, and the whole crew were in first class. Jessica and her mother were in first class, and the kids were in coach. And I just want to say that makes me love her. Like, kids should not be flying first class unless they're, like, you know, under the age of, like, they need diapers Change when kids can be grown. Yeah. You're sitting in coach. We're not all flying until they can
A
sit without their parents.
B
Absolutely.
A
Yeah.
B
It wasn't clear if her husband was also in coach with them, which I actually think so. Then Nick was like. And I'm not sure if it's, like, where they stand, but, like, her husband, I think he was in coach with the kids.
A
Wow. Queen.
B
Queen. The comments were coming for. I'm like, wait, no, that's my queen right now.
A
But also, like, queen for Nick and Vanessa for flying with their kids in first class, even though they're, of course, they're of lesser means.
B
Much lesser.
A
So everyone just seems like a good person in this story. Yeah.
B
And he. And I think that, like, for a while, he hated Jessica Simpson. Like, obviously that was his ex wife, but, like, hated because he became the villain in the story. And I think it took a really long time of, like, positive, like, honestly, love is blind really helped, like, positive public affection, like, for him to get out of it. So I think now they're at a place where they all like each other, but I think they really hated Jessica for many years.
A
Yeah. But I also think he was a bad husband.
B
Yeah.
A
Not just that, like, her story painted him in a certain way. Like, I think that he was like,
B
we all watched it on the show.
A
And also, like, in her book, like, I think he was the wrong husband for her. I think he was very jealous and, like, just. And maybe I don't know why. I just, like, hope he's not that person anymore. He was also younger and, like, maybe he didn't like how he was.
B
I agree that I think he wasn't a bad person. He was like, a young famous. Like, it's just a recipe. I could see him being, like, a healed version now.
A
Yeah.
B
But, yeah, like, when you're a pop star marrying a pop star, and then, like, your wife becomes much more famous and rich in you and, like, your star is rising and her star is lowering and hers is rising. Like, that's got to be hard for a young person.
A
Yeah. And, like, seriously, what kind of young male can really. Like, what's the best way to handle that?
B
Right.
A
It's you. Takes a real strong type and a lot of maturity and wisdom that come with age.
B
Yeah.
A
Anyways, so Annie Cohen addressed Lisa Kudrow because when she was on Watch what Happens Live, Andy asked her about, like, what she's watching, and she said that she had been watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and He like, wanted her
B
take and he was like begging her for it. And she was like, you're not gonna like it. You're not gonna like it. And I thought what she was gonna say was that it's boring. Like, remember when Sarah Michelle Keller said that?
A
Yeah.
B
And so then she was like, the vans.
A
She said, I saw the Beverly Hills episode. You don't want me to discuss it? I'm telling you right now. I'm just. I thought she was like, I'm just going to say black Mercedes Sprinter twins. I caught that. I'm sorry. To which Andy awkwardly chuckled and responded, okay, yeah. So then.
B
So what she's referring to is that in Italy on Beverly Hills, there's like this big scene where Dorit leaves Erica, they all took a cab together, a black Mercedes Sprinter van. They all took it up to this gelato shop and Dorit gets mad and leaves and takes the car. But you know, eagle eyed viewers were quick to point out there were two vans there because they had two different license plates. It was so, like actually quite obvious what was going on. So they're making this big storyline like, you left us up the mountain. It's like, no, we didn't. There was a car right there. They're like, we have to wait 45 minutes for an Uber.
A
They see them like walking the street and then they wind up getting in a van and it's the same van
B
that drove them there.
A
So Andy spoke about it on his radio show. He said it blew up that people were saying she was calling me out on the fakery of the show. He explained to his co host that the scene that she was referring to was when they blew up in Italy. Dried said, screw you got in the Mercedes van and left. What Lisa was pointing out was that there was another Mercedes van there so they weren't stranded. However, he said he had heard from producers that Dorit did strand them in town. The other car was the crew vehicle that was taking the crew somewhere else. So Kyle and Erica then called the house to ask for a ride back. They called the house and that's why the van that had just dropped off the crew then returned to get Erica and Kyle. He promised that they were walking on the street and that waiting for the car was real. He added that the stars were waiting for some time before the crew van returned to get them. It's not even that interesting, he said. I'm sorry to bore you guys, but that's what happened.
B
Well, I also then read a blind item from NT on Twitter that was like Andy was really pissed about this. And Lisa Kudrow is never allowed back on watch Happens live. Even though I believe Andy Cohen is a huge Lisa Kudrow fan. Like, the Comeback is his favorite show. And I believe that they're like old friends. So I'm gonna choose not to believe that blind. Although I can see Andy, like, being so mad.
A
It's just not that big of a deal. Like, first of all, I don't know that I believe any story. Maybe I don't think he's a liar, but, like, I just don't like his version of it because, like, why would the crew take a van when there's two ladies stranded on the mountain?
B
Right. Wouldn't the car take the ladies and then the crew?
A
And where is the crew going to another location if it's not the house where they're all filming and saying the other women are at the house.
B
Right. And why can't the women and the crew drive together?
A
Yeah. Or Dorit and the crew. And so it's like, maybe he's telling maybe this is true, but I just. I don't like it, you know, I agree.
B
I don't like version of the truth.
A
I don't want to believe it. It.
B
I also, like, don't really care.
A
No, me neither. And it's not that big of a scandal. I guess it would show that they like fake stuff for the show. I don't think that it was fake, but I do think that maybe production could have had a situation where Erica and Kyle were not stranded because they did have another car and they chose to strand them.
B
Drama.
A
Three left in one. Three didn't. The thing is, Dorit did not strand them. She saw two cars and she took one knowing her friends had another car. I think that's the difference. It's not that Dirich stranded them and then production chose to strand them then.
B
Yeah.
A
By giving that interesting. Like, yeah, you know, it's not. I think, but it feels like a gotcha moment. Like, for, like, fans to be like,
B
yeah, eagle eyed viewers.
A
Like, I guess I'm the opposite of
B
an eagle eyed viewer. I can't get off my phone. I'm busy watching an episode of Euphoria. Like, well, Beverly Hills is on my tv. I'm watching Cassie and Nate.
A
Yeah.
B
And maybe Zendaya. Did she die? Who knows?
A
Will Cassie and Nate divorce? I keep being surprised that it seems like they're not divorced because he's like calling her from the kitchen, like, with the bills being like, work harder. Like, make that money.
B
Well, maybe they don't get divorced because, like, one of them dies. Now I'm like, now you put into my brain that somebody dies.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Who do you think it is? I. I tbd. It might have been the day already. We don't know.
A
Based on what I've seen.
B
Oh, I think, you know what, that's a good poly market. Like, who dies in Euphoria? Like, prediction. Hold on.
A
I think it's Rue. And that would, like, make sense, you know, I think Zendaya is ready.
B
There is one who will die in euphoria. Season three. 77 of people say it's Nate Jacobs. That's Jacob Elordi. 57 of people say it's Rue. I feel like Rue's, like, a little obvious. 15 say, Jules. Nate is a good. But like, the show.
A
Unfortunately, I don't know Jules, because she's not Hunter Schaefer.
B
She has. You have her reels haven't hit you yet?
A
No, I don't get her scenes. No.
B
Well, you could check out the poly market. Pop culture markets. Download the app and use code toast, of course.
A
Oh, you told me Jules and. And Rue are together.
B
Yes, yes. And then there's a couple of other people here, Maddie. But no, I actually think Nate Jacobs is a good guy.
A
I think so too. Based on what I've seen, he deserves. Except.
B
Yeah, but he's like, the villain. And like, shows like this, like, the. That's too, like, it's too much of a happy ending.
A
But wouldn't it just be, like, then the women can, like, drive.
B
It's not that type of show. It is not that type of show.
A
My girl Boss to the sun.
B
No.
A
And bad.
B
It ain't that type of show.
A
And sisterhood will no longer be screwed.
B
Well, I say screw sisterhood.
A
You think that's like the theme of euphoria?
B
Kind of. Yeah.
A
Yeah. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? Yeah, it's a little crazy Turdy Lou Murda news.
B
Oh, my God. I can't believe we're back to talking about this.
A
Alex Murdaugh's murder confessions. Convictions, not confessions. That's important distinction. His murder convictions of wife and son, shockingly overturned in a new trial, has been ordered in a wild twist. So Alex Murdaugh, the disgraced South Carolina legal scion who was found guilty of killing his wife and son, had his murder conviction sentenced sensationally overturned yesterday by the state supreme court after it found that the local county kirk clerk had placed her fingers on the scales of justice. Murda was serving two consecutive life sentences without parole for the grizzly 2021 murders of his wife Maggie and their 22 year old son Paul. Following a dramatic six week trial that gripped the nation and many docu series. Although we are aware of the time, money and effort expended for this lengthy trial, we have no choice but to reverse the denial of Murda's motion for a new trial due to Hill's improper external influences on the jury and remand for a new trial.
B
So what did they do that caused a retrial? This is so crazy. They.
A
Murdo's lawyers appealed the convictions, arguing the trial was affected by County Clerk Becky Hill, who they say tampered with the jury during the trial. They also accused the judge of allowing prosecutors to present more than 12 hours of evidence regarding his financial crimes to prove a motive for the murder. Murdoch's lawyers appealed the murder convictions, arguing the trial was affected by. Oh, they. They put that again. Twice. That's a typo.
B
Oh, my God. No, it's. So it's a technicality.
A
What?
B
Like it tech. Like he's getting a reach out on a technicality because they went over 12 hours.
A
No, I think, I don't think you have a 12 hour limit. I think they're saying it was like unduly. Like they're showing 12 hours of financial crimes which would sway a jury. But financial crimes have actually nothing to do with whether or not he murdered them.
B
I mean, like, I'm excited because that was a fun time. Like, we were all watching the trial. Obviously, Turdi, Lou Murdaugh was born of this trial. I just really feel like he did it and if he didn't, he's covering up for his son who did it. And so, like, I was okay with this, you know?
A
Yeah. No, my question is, if he didn't, then who did?
B
Right. And it's been a while since I watched the documentaries. I watched a few because it was like, it was a really hot topic at the time. But there were theories that it was the Sun Buster.
A
Buster.
B
That's not that the lights went out in Georgia,
A
but then the son that he killed hit the girl with the boat. Oh, right.
B
They were also like, they were a up family because they killed someone. Like, they had just like a lot. They was hidden. They were like a very wealthy family in a small town. So they knew the sheriff and the judge and everything. And it was just like everyone had blood on their hands. And so they had a dark past of like both the sons. No, the son who's alive and is
A
the one and what about the boy? The boy on the street hit by a right Buster.
B
Buster hit and run.
A
He like, took that boy. Boy, I think. I think he was gay.
B
Oh, the gay boy. I remember. Yeah.
A
And they killed him. Someone killed him.
B
Yeah. I need to refresh if before the next trial happens because I'm sure we'll all be sad again and I need to remember, like, what I thought and like what I felt.
A
Yeah. There were like a couple murders in the town that.
B
Well, I'm sure there will be. Yeah. Right, right, right.
A
Were, you know, in the orbit of the family. And then someone killed property and then someone killed the mother and the son and it was thought to be the father that did it.
B
I. I'm sure there will be another documentary that now includes this update and the trial and stuff, because I'm kind of ready to be sad again for this.
A
Yeah. And I just like, if he didn't do it, who did it? It.
B
Right. Who? It's one of those who done it. Well, a lot of people think it was the sun because he has this history. Remember the gay lover. Oh, and people thought maybe it was a lover. Yeah.
A
That he's gay.
B
Right. Very David Karofsky energy from.
A
It was for sure.
B
One thing about David Karosky from Glaze, like it all roads lead to him. Like, he's sort of a timeless while it's not really. He's almost like a silhouette, like a lot of people are.
A
David Karosky, like a self.
B
The gay basher who's secretly gay.
A
Yeah. Bully.
B
Right.
A
What'd you call him? The. The gay basket.
B
Gay basher.
A
Gay basher.
B
No, I would never call someone a gay bastard.
A
I didn't say bastard. I didn't hear what you said. It sounded like gay bastard. And I didn't.
B
No. Gay basher. Like somebody who, like, beats up gay people.
A
Yeah.
B
But it's because they themselves are gay.
A
Yeah.
B
It's a complicated thing.
A
Well, those are the fast five stories you need.
