A
Good morning, girlies.
B
It's the Toast.
A
It's Jackson Claude and we're your host.
B
It's your favorite show.
A
The best five things you need to know.
B
We'll start your day off Swirly. It's the Toast.
A
They sound amazing.
B
Welcome back to the Toast. Happy Monday. I'm back in New York City and let me tell you, the city is alive. Oh, it's a lie. People in the streets. Like, it's literally. You know that scene in 500 Days of Summer when he finally gets laid and he leaves the house and there's like a musical going on outside. There's like a flash mob. The birds are chirping. That's what it is. First of all, it's just like gorgeous outside. Every single person is, like, in an amazing mood. There's a real, like, familial sort of energy. Like, everybody's high fiving.
A
Everybody knows their merch names.
B
Literally, like fists pounding. You know, you see businessmen, non businessmen, like, businessmen. It's electric.
A
That's so beautiful.
B
It really is. I'm like, getting really swept up in it.
A
Do you feel like a part of something major? Because you are.
B
Yeah.
A
And you know, I know you had to go back for, like, other things, but you actually, like, had to be there for this moment.
B
Of course. No, Ben was. It was not an option to stay in Florida one minute longer.
A
No, no, no. You have to be there and, like, experience the camaraderie and the community.
B
The Knicks one on Friday night, and then tonight is game three. So they're up to zero. You have to. It's the first one to four.
A
Yes.
B
The next. The next two games are at home. So, like, I don't see how the Knicks don't sweep Nicks and four. Like, I don't know how they lose two games in a row at home. Like, they're obviously winning tonight. Like, there's so much excitement.
A
Yeah. But sometimes, like, when you have everything at your back, like, that's when it goes wrong. But also, wouldn't it be fun if they don't win in four? They win still the series, but there's more games. Like in. This feeling goes longer, like.
B
Yes. But then they win in Kansas. Where's the game? San Antonio. Which is like, not so the vibe.
A
Yeah. And they should win here. It behooves them to win here and
B
they need to win here because not only are they, like prize to win, but they're also currently on track to match the. The NBA record. So they have not. Want. They have not lost a game In, I think, maybe 12. This is their 12th win in a row in the playoffs. The last time that happened and the only other time it happened was 2017 with the Golden State Warriors. So if they win the next two, they will match the record for, like, 14 games in a row. So it's kind of like. It's just they. They sort of, like, have to. They really have no choice.
A
And for her Story and for Ben
B
Story, like, there's no option other than winning these next two games.
A
How is Ben Story?
B
My husband is, like, living in a dream. Like, he has never been in a better mood. He's a delight to be around. Like, it's affecting all, like, business, social. Like, every. He's firing on all cylinders. He's literally never, ever been happier. And, you know, it's infectious. Like, I'm into it. Like, let's fudgeing. Go. I'm watching, like, edits on TikTok. Like, Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton. Like, is Jalen Brunson reincarnated? Like, I'm so in it.
A
I see that everything I do is for the Knicks.
B
Like, I just. People in New York are just. We're not okay. And I say, wait, yeah, I'm in it.
A
It's. It's very exciting. And I feel like other cities, they get this a lot, and maybe they've taken it for granted and they could. There's a lot of different sports where you get. I guess, like, the New York always has, like, the Yankees and the Yankees, like, stay winning. But it's different.
B
No, it's not. Like, this is so different.
A
Yeah. No, but it's. It's very, very cool to see. Yeah, very cool.
B
And like, we were out and about all weekend. Like, everyone. First of all, we only dressed Fu. In, like, his. Nick's Merchant. All the kids, everyone at the park and everything is Nick's.
A
Like, it's just Nick's mania.
B
It's Nick's mania. It's so much fun. Like, this is the most fun I've ever had. It's just beautiful. I'm really happy for my husband.
A
I'm happy for him, too. Yeah.
B
This is huge.
A
Major. Do I look different today?
B
No.
A
Okay. I am different.
B
Inside or outside?
A
Outside.
B
What?
A
I used the five step pov. Beauty. Did you film it for Patreon method? I did film it. Not for Patreon, for. For reals reels. Like a little reel. I used all five steps under.
B
How is your makeup sitting?
A
You know what? I had a ball. I had a ball with these products. Like, when I finished the fifth Step. I didn't even want to put makeup on. My skin actually felt like, really donut. Yeah. And it's like, there definitely is, like, it doesn't feel like skincare. Like you feel ready for something. Right. It feels almost like sticky. And it's like, stick to me makeup. But, like, I was just like a radiant, glowing ball, by the way.
B
You have to, at the, like, end of the day, before you take your makeup off, show everyone what your makeup looks like. Like, with the back. Back camera flash.
A
But also yesterday, I wore just the primer because I was, like, really curious. They were just sitting there. And I just wore skin makeup yesterday, like, to go have a day. And I came home, I took my makeup off, I took my shower, whatever. Then I used my toning pads, and I had so much makeup on the toning pad still. Like, the makeup didn't come off because it was stuck on.
B
Love that.
A
So it does what it says it's going to do.
B
That's beautiful.
A
Yeah, it was very fun. Way to start my week.
B
We have so much to do today. Love Island Friday and Sunday nights. We have two episodes to recap. We're both fully caught up. That's also fun. Like, I'm a part of that too. I'm just like, a part of a lot of group things. And, you know, tonight my two group things things are sort of conflicting with one another. This is actually second time where the NBA finals and Love island are on the same time. Like, it's not even a question.
A
The finals, obviously. And then are you gonna watch Love island in time for tomorrow's show?
B
I don't know. The games start at 8:30, which means they actually start at 8:45. Like, they're ending so late. Like, I'm probably don't look for me tomorrow for a Love island recap. And I feel like the episode after a recoupling is, like, never that crazy.
A
For me, last night was the recoupling.
B
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
A
So of the episode after a recoupling
B
is always, like, sort of low key.
A
I can see we'll be getting three new bombshells.
B
I know we're getting three new bombshells, but, like, unfortunately, no, no, it is what it is.
A
What? I'm not like other girls.
B
I'm literally bea like, I have to watch sports.
A
No, I. It would be nice, like, to get my night back. You know, it's like, oh, so then I don't have to watch if Claudia's not watching. But the thing is, like, if I Don't watch it tonight. Like, that means I have to watch two the next night. Like, which I actually physically can too.
B
I know.
A
So I have to stay on top of the schedule because if I fall back, I am never catching up.
B
Yeah.
A
So I'm, I guess I'm still going to watch tonight because otherwise it's over for me if I, if I lose my spot.
B
Yeah, you can't get like too far behind.
A
Yeah.
B
And I, I, I hear you and I empathize with you, but like, I, I kind of have no choice.
A
No, no, I, we all have to do what's right. I'm not saying watch it. I'm just saying I still have to watch it. Otherwise I'm going to be watching three hours of Love island the next night. I don't have, I don't have that sort of time.
B
Time on your hands. No, I get it, I get it.
A
So like, we gotta lay.
B
Try being a TV recap for a day. Try it.
A
Yeah.
B
So I didn't get a chance to watch Real Housewives of Rhode Island. Like the, like being an avid sports fan, like, and I'm sure most of you girl listeners don't understand this because you're not like me, but like, it's exhausting. It's a full time commitment being, like such a big fan of sports.
A
I know, but like, you do it for the love of sports. You couldn't like stop if you tried.
B
Exactly. Exactly.
A
Yeah.
B
Let me tell you what I did this weekend.
A
Tell me.
B
I manage. I know everyone's like kind of clamoring to get Nick's tickets. I was able to get tickets to the Gazillion Bubbles Show.
A
What a show.
B
It was fucking insane. Now I'd actually been to the Gazillion Bubble show with Fu when he was in utero. This time he was outer. Oh my God. It was, it was literally insane. Like, the art and the culture in this town is just, it's unmatched. The Gazillion Bubble show was so fudgeing sick. I love bubbles. Like, I think we went.
A
For me, they're very exciting.
B
Bubbles are magic. Like, and then of course I bought like at the merch stand, like a bubble gun. And I was in the park yesterday, like, doing bubbles. Like, but I tell you, we went. For me, bubbles are the most magical thing, like on the planet. Like, bubbles is kind of life.
A
And Nick's, of course, that's the theme of your weekend.
B
So bubbles and Nicks.
A
Did Ruby like the show or.
B
Oh yeah, he was fine. No, he did he really liked it. But, like, I was sad.
A
You were loved.
B
It's like, it's. They told the story. It was a little bit different than the last time we were there. They told the story. It's like a family owned show. And, like, each, like, sibling, the. The. Because we saw with the guy.
A
Danny. Yeah, girl.
B
No, it was Danny. I think it was Danny's sister. And guess what she was wearing. Giovanni. I recognize I clocked that jumpsuit also.
A
It's not Danny's jumps. Denny, right?
B
I think it was Danny.
A
I think his name is Denny.
B
Okay. Well, I saw his sister just as magical, just as brilliant, just as. Just as amazing.
A
They've all got the talent, the bubble
B
bug, a thousand percent. And then I also went to the park, just like, you know, local things. Played mahjong, obviously. Actually played mahjong at night, which is my least favorite thing to do. But, like, my New York friends, like, hard to get a game going during the day. Like, they like to play.
A
I thought you have a game every day.
B
I do, I do. But, like, it's hard, like, getting that fourth. It's hard to accrue all four.
A
Oh, okay.
B
I played and I was just like, I. I got the sense, like, nobody wants to play with me anymore. I won about. I won five times, like, out of eight games. And one of them was a wall game. So it's like, I'm kind of becoming too good where I feel like I'm
A
gonna be stopping invited places or you have to, like, find better people to play with.
B
No, no, I play with a very. I run in a fabulous circle of mahjong, like, very competitive group.
A
No, but, like, if you found the best person in every, like, it. I think maybe you need, like, another level of game, you know, where I
B
think you and I would personally thrive. Because, like, we're obviously a part of the new generation of mahjongers, but especially in the Jewish community, everyone's moms play. I think we need to start playing with the moms.
A
Like. Yeah, and they play forever.
B
They play with money, too, so they're, like, much more competitive. And I've decided, yeah, I've decided I don't want to play with money because
A
I hate no interest in playing with money.
B
I mean, I have some interest, but I just know myself. Like, when I lose, I take it. Like, Ben can tell the second I walk in the door whether I lost or I won because, like, it affects my mood. I take it so personally. And then let's add losing money on top of it. I'm no.
A
And it's, like, not enough money to win. That, like, makes the. The losses less painful. And I just think it would take the fun out of it. Honest. Like, I really do.
B
I agree.
A
Yeah. I. I am not interested in that.
B
Me neither. But what I am interested in is just sliding the house down boots on this episode. What are the stories? Like, where are we doing the TV recap?
A
Like, tell me about the end. Because, like, not everyone watches Love island, and it's not like, one where we're, like, bursting at the. You know, sometimes, like, we're bursting and we can do the TV recap at the end, and then the stories are, you know, the happenings of the weekend.
B
Really? Tony Awards? No. Oh. Whitney Levitt was kind of like, you know, she was on Broadway, of course, but something about, like, Chicago the Musical is, like, a little.
A
It's Broadway.
B
No, it's not Broadway. It's just, like, very mainstream. It's like a show that also goes on tour.
A
Like, it's not, like, high art.
B
It's.
A
Right.
B
And so when you think of the Tonys, you think of, like, really, like, you know, Lea Michelle, Rachel Zegler, like, the real bells of the ball.
A
But let me tell you people whose names we don't know, right?
B
When I tell you, like, I watched a bunch of clips, like, Whitney was very much.
A
She's the toast of the town.
B
Her and the toast of the town she was in. In a performance, like, with Queen Lat Latifah, like, a bunch of Broadway legends. The. The community is very much welcoming her. You know, I think, like, in some, like, industries, like the new girl from reality TV who's an influencer, like, everyone
A
from Utah who's trying to make it
B
in New York, they would very much look down upon her. But I feel as though, like, they've welcomed her with open arms. She literally performed with Pink.
A
Yeah.
B
It's crazy. And Darren Criss.
A
It's crazy that she's really the toast of the town. I was saying that, like, it's crazy also that, like, coming from where she came from, like, as an influencer, like, Mormon wife, that Broadway is, like, welcome.
B
It's the opposite.
A
She is the diamond of the season.
B
Yeah. And I didn't know if she was a diamond of the season to just the fans or if, like, the industry, like, had welcomed her. And they definitely have.
A
Yeah, they definitely have. No, but we'll be discussing other happenings of the weekend if we. There's a lot. There's. I mean. Oh, my God. I have to tell the Group. Something so sad happened to me this weekend. Like, actually, like, it's very upsetting. You're not going to understand how upsetting it. It was my starter, my sourdough starter. It was in a glass mason jar. It fell on the floor and it broke. And I get it. I didn't. I don't have any discard in the fridge. Like, that's the end of my starter.
B
Okay, but isn't Olivia's starter a cousin of yours?
A
It is. Olivia's starter is a descendant of my starter, and I will be taking some of her starter. But, like, I just know, like, how I.
B
Is that the same starter from, like, when you started your journey?
A
When I started my starter, yes. And all. Both of them are descendants of Ballerina Farms. Willa Sourdough. But, like, you know, I've, like, been feeding mine consistently every day for two years. Like, I know she does hers, too, but it's like, I knew what mine was, and now, of course, I'm taking someone else's starter. Your starter's not starting on my sourdough.
B
It's kind of akin to, like, losing a pet. Honestly, it was.
A
It was so sad. Two years.
B
Was there anyone you could have blamed? Like, did Zach leave the cabinet door in a weird way, or was it your fault?
A
A little bit of everyone's fault. It was my fault because I took it out and I left it on the counter because I was, like, doing the dishes, but I was going to start a loaf right after, and in the time that I was doing the dishes, like, one of the children knocked it over and. But, like, there shouldn't have been a glass jar in their reach. So.
B
What. Where'd you leave it?
A
Like, on the peninsula? In my kitchen. Like, across from the, you know, sink. Yeah. Isn't that a good word for what that is? A peninsula. It juts out. It connects to the rest of my kitchen. But it's not an island.
B
Oh, I was thinking of the island.
A
No, that's an island. But a peninsula is something that's connected to land.
B
Oh, I see. So the thing that's connected still to the kitchen sink. The.
A
Like, the l. The L shell. Yeah. That's called a peninsula.
B
I just. I really wouldn't blame yourself. It's like, a very normal place to leave stuff, like.
A
Yeah, no, and it was, like, literally for five minutes while I finished putting the dishes away. It just. It was a tragic accident, and it was so upsetting. But I'm gonna get Olivia's. I'm gonna. I'm gonna come back but, like, you're
B
taking it surprisingly well.
A
What's. What a choice do I have?
B
Well, you do need to kind of figure it out because we do rely on you over the summer to create
A
for the whole family.
B
Starter.
A
I'll get some of. And it's like. It's crazy. I take my starter to Hamptons. Like, I've. You know, it's been so many places.
B
It's a well traveled.
A
It couldn't survive my peninsula on a Sunday morning.
B
I know. You also gave it to Rebecca.
A
I was thinking that too, because she doesn't sourdough that often. And when she does, she, like, posts it and her starter grows so much, and it's like a. It's a very much a descendant of mine as well. So I was thinking I could take hers when I come to New York, but I really could take Olivia's. I don't know why. I'm like. I quizzed her last night. I'm like, how do you treat your starter? When do you feed it? What do you do?
B
Right. It's very personal. Trading children, honestly.
A
Also, sourdough mamas will get this. And you. Ben, did it, too. When you feed your starter, I always put it in a new jar every single time I feed it. Like, but some people just dump some of their old out and then feed it in their existing current.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't love that.
B
Does Olivia do that?
A
She says she does, but that. Well, she says that she does, but she also renews it as well. I don't really have choices here, so.
B
Yeah. Right.
A
I'm lucky to get her. Like, literally, I'm so blessed that I have someone down the street with a descendant.
B
And you could have just, like, pick some of the starter off the floor and, like, throw it in the jar.
A
Well, I thought about it, but, like, there's glass particles, like.
B
Yeah.
A
That's so unsafe.
B
Yeah. Yeah, I agree.
A
I agree. It was. Yeah, it was really bad.
B
I'm really sorry that you're going through that.
A
Thank you. I'm. I'm just gonna pick myself up and dust myself off.
B
We're so matching today. We didn't even notice. Like, okay. Oh, by the way, influenced by Jax and Jimmy. MJ ballet flats you've been wearing. They were, like, so cozy.
A
I've moved on to these crochet Mary Janes from Rothy's.
B
I love just, like, a sensible shoe these days.
A
I love a sensible shoe. I like. I don't know if I'm ever gonna wear high heels ever again. I was. I was thinking about high heels the other day because I saw like someone wearing high heels in the middle of the day. And I was like, why?
B
Why? Yeah, I had a similar thought when I was at the mall in Florida. I saw a girl wearing biker shorts and heels. And I thought maybe she was doing either like a form of exercise, because it is like a leg workout, or she was trying to break them in for like a big event that night because it was such a crazy outfit. Like a sports bra, biker shorts, and a pair of stilettos. Like, insane. And I also got to thinking, but, you know, when I was pregnant, my sister in law got married, my macha tunim sister. And I obviously needed like a pair of heels, but I was literally almost nine months pregnant. So I bought like a very expensive, well made pair of kitten heels. When I say kitten, I mean genuine kitten. It's literally a ballet flat with like a little something on the heel. And you know what? I love it. They're like a sling back.
A
That's my idea of a wild time.
B
Because that way you still get like, I. I don't even need the height because, like, obviously I'm short. I'm not fooling anyone. I don't need the height of a heel. I need like the sort of pointy, elegant toe, like peeking out of a dress or a pair of slacks. And a kitten heel is grossly underrated.
A
I exclusively wear kitten heels. I think the only time I'll ever wear like a heel again is, you know, a wedding or a black tie affair. But I am done. What are we doing, ladies?
B
I agree.
A
I'm done half the time when you're wearing heels, like, it doesn't look good.
B
Wow. Okay. Harsh words.
A
You know what I mean?
B
No, who are you talking about?
A
Like, like there's a time and a place.
B
I agree.
A
So the other half of the time, it's just not the vibe you're killing yourself for what?
B
Well, that's the other thing.
A
Like, you're like, immobile. You, like, can barely walk.
B
Joy is important. And like comfort and peace and love, like, those things I think matter more sometimes than like, stunting.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
But maybe it's just reflective of the era that we're in. And like, maybe there was a time in my life where I cared more about, like, looking the absolute best snatch tallest that I possibly could. Oh, I'm not having fun. Oh, I can't get up. It doesn't matter. I look amazing. Yeah, but now that's obviously not the mindset that I know.
A
Definitely, like, that's My mindset right now, I wonder if, like, it will change one day. It probably will, but. And there are certain looks that, like, you absolutely have to wear a heel for, like, like a pencil dress, you know?
B
Of course. No, of course. You know, but pencil skirt.
A
I don't know. I was really just thinking about it. Like, I'm done.
B
Done. What a good feeling.
A
Very feminist of us. It's very liberating, you know, because a man invented the high heel.
B
Yeah, right. And it's like, this is our version of, like, not shaving our armpits, you know? Yeah.
A
Or like, not like, that's disgusting. We're not wearing.
B
I should never. I like having. Having our nipples out. No, we'll just like flats and sneakers until I die.
A
Kitten heels.
B
Like, get yourself a really good pair of kitten heels. It's one of the best things I've done for myself.
A
Yeah, I have a nice little collection. Collection.
B
I got to get another. I have this silver pair. Like, they've saved my life on multiple occasions. Giamito Rossi. No, no. What's the other one? Giambito.
A
Oh, Giambalista Valley.
B
John Bautista. I believe they're John Batista. No, they're Gianvito Rossi.
A
There's Gian Batista.
B
No, I got them at Bergdorfs. Like, I was panicked before my sister in law's wedding. Be like, how, like, I can't wear heels. I'm literally immobile. And I didn't take them off during the wedding. Like, I was cozy. I wasn't that girl running around without shoes on. Like, you know, get yourself in a luxury, well made pair of kitten heels. Go to the real, real. Like, let me tell you, it was one of the best things I did for myself.
A
Yeah. Okay, let's get into the stories. Without further ado to do to do it is time for the Fast 5 stories that you do need to know.

Thanks, churt.
B
You're welcome.
A
Our first story happenings of the weekend, we had the Monaco Grand Prix.
B
Yes.
A
Stars were out in Monaco for the grand Prix. Now headline news was that Kim went with her sister Chloe to support her man's Lewis Hamilton. And you know what? I'm paying attention.
B
Oh really? I'm not.
A
I'm paying attention to the outfits.
B
I'm on the aloe yacht. Like that's where my ass is. That's all care about.
A
That's what I was following to Alex, Jake and Stassi. Baby.
B
Yep, they were.
A
Baby.
B
It was like a little bit confusing and I don't really understand how like alo justifies this enormous expense when like it took me a while to figure out that these three were on an aloe brand trip. Like it was not very aloe forward.
A
Right. And I don't know that I saw a piece of aloe merchandise.
B
No, I saw the logo a couple of times like on the boat and like on a towel.
A
Well, I guess, but I think also have been like working out on the boat.
B
Oh, I think I did see maybe Jake Shane on a cold plunge.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
All that to say, like, that's where Brett and trips. That kind of confused me. I don't know, like, how that really. I guess it really did, like, differentiate aloe as, like, from all the other brands, like, who do different. This was, like a very elite brand trip.
A
Yeah.
B
In terms of its location, the boat, the talent on board. But it wasn't very product forward.
A
No. No. But look, how many times have we said aloe since?
B
It's true. And, like, I'm going to Manaco Grand Prix. Like, I'd literally rather be on that boat than anywhere else. Like, you know, they actually had fun.
A
Yeah. For who else was on it? Just three of them.
B
I saw other people whose names and usernames, like, meant nothing to me. I didn't recognize. But that doesn't mean that they're not special and unique in their own way.
A
Yes, of course. Very beautiful. But no, Kim and Chloe, like, went out and very fun for, like, Chloe sister times. Yeah.
B
Love to see Chloe, like, leaving the gates. We know that, like, that's not something she does a lot and it gives her a lot of anxiety.
A
Yeah. Also, Kim is a wag, which I feel like we hadn't seen her in her wag era until this. Like, she's there being the supportive partner. She's wearing the looks, you know, she's obviously taking the fashion seriously. She, like, wore something.
B
She's, like, filming his ceremony, even though I don't think he came in first place.
A
Oh, but he was up on the stage. Yeah.
B
Because, like, the podium is, like, first, second and third place. And it looked like he was on the left, which is giving second.
A
Okay. But still, like, the podium.
B
Of course. Of course.
A
And he, like, gave a little. He blew a kiss to his lady
B
and she's, like, filming horizontally. Perhaps filming for Patreon.
A
Yeah, for sure. It was giving, like, very Kylie and Timothy. It's so funny how Kylie feels like a Nick Swag when her husband is not a player, he's just a fan.
B
No, no, her husband is a Wagner. She's like, her, like, he is a wag of the Knicks and she's just like, there.
A
Yes. No, but it's like when you think of, like, I keep seeing all these, like, group photos of the wags. I'm like, where's Kylie? Like, just the way that they engage with the team, it feels like she's a wag, but she's obviously not.
B
I hope Chloe met someone. Like, I don't know what Chloe's relationship status is. And I feel like she keeps it, like, very tight to the vest, but as far as I know, she, like, hasn't dated or had sex in years. That's what she said on Keeping up or whatever the show's called. And I don't know that, like, I want her to be dating an athlete, but, like, there's lots of eligible people who fly to the south of France or wherever the hell this is for this event. Lots of businessmen, lots of wealthy individuals, you know, investment bankers, things of that nature. Businessmen.
A
It's like she didn't meet someone at the Bezos wedding. Like, where is it going to happen?
B
Or the Ambani wedding. Yeah, she gets to go everywhere.
A
Yeah. With all the eligibles. You know, Scooter and Sydney met, like, you could meet.
B
Is that where they met at Jeff Bezos wedding?
A
Based on what we know, yeah. That was, like, the first time they were seen together. They were, like, in a group of, like, random friends.
B
Right, right, right, right, right.
A
That is to go shopping, like.
B
Yes, yes, yes.
A
So I just feel like she's there, but is she really there? Is she really being present?
B
Yeah, she's physically there. Emotionally, I feel like she's probably back in Hidden Hills.
A
Yeah. And she's, like, on FaceTime with her daughter, you know, she is. She is like, leave her alone. She's happy.
B
You know who, like, kind of feels like a great guy for her? Someone who's recently gotten dumped.
A
I don't know.
B
Someone who's recently gotten dumped from the villa. Sean, devoted father. Sean, law enforcement officer.
A
Like, I can't open up the Sean box right now, and I won't be
B
able to go back.
A
Okay.
B
And, like, this Sean box is, like, firmly, like, in the files next to the Jalen box.
A
I cannot open the Sean box right now. Unless if you want the show to go on. It's only story number one.
B
No, no, no, no, no.
A
I'm putting the Sean box over here.
B
Okay, tape it up.
A
Monaco Grand Prix. And it's funny because the Monaco Grand Prix was same weekend as Belmont Stakes, again, just like The Derby and F1 were the same weekend last time.
B
I also feel like I wasn't closely following this event. It felt very out of reach. Like, I don't really understand what Formula One is. I don't 100 know where Monaco is on a map. Like, this whole thing felt like so 1% to me, to the point where, like, I actually just, like, I couldn't. I. I couldn't really follow it because I wasn't even sure what I was Following?
A
Yeah, it's hard enough to follow. Like, the one in Miami. Yeah.
B
And it was like a driving race, but everybody watched from their boats. Like, it was seriously so Hunger Games. Like, I don't even know what the hell these people are doing.
A
It's like fancy nascar, like, Italian nascar.
B
It's definitely European driving.
A
It's European nascar. But they compete in Miami sometimes once a year.
B
Yeah. Like, honestly, I'm not even. Oh, you know the World cup is in New York.
A
I think I did know that.
B
And I had no idea. It's at MetLife Stadium. And somebody just, like, offered me tickets to a match, and I was like, no, thanks. I don't need to go see France versus Senegal. And then I found out it's, like, the most important match. Like, I was like. I thought when I saw the email, I was like, oh, my God. Yeah, of course I'd love to go see, like, America. Like, I'd root for my team. Yeah. And they were like, it's the 2
A
o' clock France versus Senegal match.
B
And I'm like, oh. I was like, I'm good, thanks. And then I was telling, like, one of Ben's friends, like, no, that's, like, a sick match.
A
That's so many. And I'm sure the America match is not sick.
B
Yeah. Like, we stink at soccer. But, like, I want to go for America. Like, it's in America. It's exciting.
A
Yeah. When does it start?
B
I have no idea. But that was, like, how I even found out that it was happening right next to the American Dream Mall.
A
Well, maybe you can make a day of it.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, the place looks great. Can't say well without saying that.
B
I know.
A
So, like, cute. Cuteness.
B
Cuteness.
A
Yeah, cuteness in Monaco and, like, you know, French Riviera summer is starting. I feel like this was, like, the. The opening, the cutting of the ribbon for French summer.
B
Your friend who doesn't have a job is in Europe, and you're going to spend the next couple of weeks wondering how she paid for it. Like, that time starts now.
A
Yeah. So clock in, fam. Our next story is something else that happened this weekend that has reached me. And now I can officially say that Garrett Graham has reached me because the actor Belmont Comelli was a big weekend through the Belmont.
B
His name is Phil.
A
Phil.
B
Yeah.
A
But why am I reading Belmont Comelli?
B
No, like, that's his name, but, like, kind of like his birth name. Like, his name is Phil.
A
Is he Garrett found that out. Is he Garrett Graham?
B
Yeah. Garrett Graham, the actor Belmont.
A
His name is Phil, you're gonna have to explain.
B
Am I not speaking English? His name is Phil. Like, you know how celebrities change their names?
A
Like, so why is India today calling him Belmont Camille?
B
That's like. That's his stage name. Like, like, Lady Gaga. Like, his name is Phil.
A
Oh, like, his. The name he doesn't want us to know.
B
Like, how Emma Stone is Emily.
A
Yeah. Or what's the guy? Tucker Somber. The other one.
B
Oh, oh, oh, oh. Role model.
A
Role model. They're the same.
B
Yeah. His name is Philip Belmont Camilli.
A
Okay, okay. But, like, let him. I just feel like, let him have his cute stage name.
B
Stop. No, I'm. I've turned on him, like, 100.
A
Okay, wait, let me just read the story. Because actor Phil Belmont Comelli brought his Garrett Graham moves to the Kid Larae concert, and fans are.
B
Did he, though? No, they're not. Like, we are not losing it.
A
We're actually, like, seen this video so many times on my feed.
B
There's two videos.
A
The people are flipping for this video. And now the first time I saw the video, I actually saw, like, one of my mom friends posted it. That's why I saw it. And I. I was like. I had no idea what I was watching. I was like, is that Justin Bieber? I was like, maybe her husband, like, works with Justin Bieber or something. And I. I just moved on. I was like, she obviously was just, like, supporting her husband. And then I kept seeing it with, like, Garagram Wicked Witch, and I was like, oh, this
B
Benson and Wes Wilson. And.
A
And, like. And. And it's Kid Laroi who does look like Justin Bieber. And ever. He had this, like, viral moment, like, dancing at the Kid Laroi. And does he dance in off campus? Yes.
B
Okay, so the thing off campus is, like, a. Music is, like, a huge part of it. She's a music major. They, like, bond over music, and they use, like, real music. Like, they talk about, like, real artists. Like, it's a cute little thing. And he dances a little bit, and like, every time he dances, it's, like, so cute. And he's obviously, like, a good dancer. Like, and I feel like he's seen the fan edits that, like, people, like, when he dances, and I just. I really don't like this. And I was actually arguing with Tinks in the DMS because she was like, no.
A
Tinks had, like, a firm take in the opposite direction.
B
And So I literally DM'd her. I'm like, we've, like, I've never disagreed with her so much. She Was like, this is just like him being like, we should be encouraging people to be, like, fun and free and dance. And it's like, yes, I actually agree with her philosophy on that. But I don't see that as this. Like, you don't saw this. You don't feel like videos.
A
He was dancing like nobody's watching. Like, you actually felt like he was dancing because everybody's watching.
B
Well, because Tick tock was watching and he was ready. He's like, oh, here's my next edit. So there's two videos, first of all. And both are like, one's worse than the next. The first is, like, at the actual concert. He's like, with the kid Leroy, like, dancing, pulling up his shirt, showing his abs. Like, then there's the second where they, like, made a tick tock to, like, the song that was playing at the concert. And he's like, doing this, like, cringy ass dance move. It might be like a dance move from the music video. I'm not sure. I don't know the reference. Okay. But I just don't like it. And it's giving, like, you know, it's nice when people, like, don't know how good looking they are. And now he's. I mean, he has no choice. Like, he's just had a front row seat to his own close up. And everyone's obsessed. And everyone, like, they love his dancing, they love his smile, they love his abs. So he did all of it, like, in three videos. And it was just. I'm sorry. I thought it was corny. I thought it was cringy. That's not how my Garrett Graham would act. Like, Garrett would never. This is Phil. Oh. And then I found out his name was Phil. And I was like, okay, you're doing a lot for, like, somebody named Phil. I just. I don't like it. I don't like it. And maybe this is my brain's way of coping, like, you know, rejecting him before he can reject me because, like, the obsession is real. But I just. It felt incongruous with Garrett. It was like, a little too much. And it was very, hey, look at me. I didn't like it.
A
Do you want to know my objective thoughts as someone who has no idea what's going on here and who.
B
I know you're gonna love it.
A
And who Garrett is and who Belmont Phil is. And, like, I saw this video, like, as if I was an alien who came down from yes, you.
B
And you are our in house alien.
A
I am the in house alien. I thought it was like, really cool.
B
Cool.
A
I thought it was cool. I was like, yeah, this is a cool. I understood why, like, if people liked him to begin with, how then watching this video, like, there's a lot of,
B
like, him lifting his shirt.
A
There was a lot I didn't see. I. I just saw the moves. I wasn't like, breaking down each move, okay, now he lifts his shirt. Now he's. I just saw the whole thing flow together. And there was flow and there was Riz. And I was like, oh, this guy's got charisma.
B
And this is also someone like, in a long term relationship. Like, imagine if this was Ben acting like that. Like, I'm sorry, you have to act like, a little bit respectful when you have. I'm just like, I'm just becoming a hater. Sorry.
A
It's just so funny, right? When you turn on Garrett, I'm ready to defend him. And I just want to say that off campus, people are like, why does Jackie hate off campus? The. The point is, I don't know off campus. I don't hate off campus. I. I don't know what's in there. And I. I actually think if I watch it, I would like it based on, like, my interest.
B
The more I think about it, I actually also think you would like it.
A
It's not that I hate off campus. I don't even it to hate it. My issue was more so with the culture that it's like, oh, you didn't watch that at that this weekend and you have no idea. And then next weekend it's something else and else and else. And it's like, well, we're just supposed to all just like binge watch shows every single weekend or else you don't know what's going on. And like, the last show that you watch is irrelevant now. Like, it's just too much content and like, I hate that part.
B
Oh, yeah, I agree. But you're only punishing yourself by like, not watching this particular show because I actually now think you would like it.
A
I'm not not watching it because I. I'm boycotting it or something. Like, I physically can't watch it. I'm watching Love island every night.
B
Yeah, it's true.
A
I. I can't watch.
B
You would have had to have watched it before Love Island.
A
Yeah, I can't watch off campus right now. And if I had the time, I think I would watch it. I think I would like it. It's more so just like this constant, like, oh, this is the new thing.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, can't something Sustain, you know?
B
No.
A
Where will Garag Gram be in five years? I worry. I worry about that.
B
Hopefully he'll be on the Bruins.
A
I think they call this Flash in the pan, not Gareth Graham. Belmont. Where Will Belmont.
B
Oh, well, this is always interesting when like a young show pops off like this. The potential that it has for the stars. A lot of times, you know, it has the Riverdale effect where like after season two of Riverdale, nobody even watches show. But a lot of those, Cami Mendes, a lot of them, Cole Sprouse, are sort of big. I would say they have careers now, like, outside of it. Sometimes one of these Flash in the pan, big time YA shows. Like, you never see or hear from these people ever again. Yeah. So I will be curious to see what happens with all the, like the. The breakout stars.
A
Yeah.
B
Of which there are probably four or five.
A
So you are not into Belmont.
B
I didn't like what I saw at the Kimbere concert. No. And it's just like a little too on the nose. It's not mysterious. It's like, oh, you guys like when I dance and you like my abs. Let me pull up my shirt and shake my hips. It's like, okay, that's for girls. Stop.
A
I don't know all the backstory. I thought he had nice moves. People were having fun.
B
He does. He has nice moves.
A
People looked cool.
B
It was cool. They looked cool.
A
I thought it was cool. And I do.
B
Like, I don't know. I don't know if I'm in the minority though.
A
Like Pink said, like, let's applaud. Embrace dancing in public, showing off your movie. I agree with them.
B
I agree with that. But that's to me, like, not what he was doing. He was like, performing like, I understand. I don't feel like he was letting his hair down. I love what she said. And I agree.
A
Literally, we shoot at the camera that's right there. It's not like he was.
B
And he's like, lifting up his shirt and like, I fucking the lens. Like, I like what she said. And I agree as a culture, like, we don't, like, embrace this, especially with men. Like, yeah, have fun, dance, whatever. Who cares? But this was not giving like Drew Barrymore in the rain. It wasn't giving carefree. Like, I don't care what anyone thinks. It's giving. I'm performing for what everybody thinks.
A
What about if this inspires other. Even though his intentions. Maybe you weren't pure for you, but what if it inspires other people to get out there and dance?
B
Well, if that is the rip current, you know, the effect, I'll be okay with it. But this is only affecting women. That's what I'm saying. Like, we're just, we're not changing any hearts or minds of young men.
A
Understood.
B
This is a women's issue.
A
Understood. Our next story. Ariana Grande started her tour this weekend. Eternal Sunshine. She is on tour. I. I sort of missed that. I didn't know that that was happening.
B
I didn't actually had no idea this was.
A
I thought last I heard from her regarding this, she doesn't like touring. She's, you know, going to Broadway. She's an actress. Okay, wait, I'm gonna come back to music soon. And then she put out a song last week and which I actually really like that song.
B
It's all over my Tick Tock.
A
Now there's a tour with tickets purchased and everything. And it's. It's on and it's kicked off in Oakland, California.
B
Yeah. Can I ask a question? Just like, for the. Are we commenting on women's bodies or not?
A
Yeah, yeah, no, we're talking about this holistically. Yes, we are.
B
Because I feel really conflicted when people talk about Ariana Grande because, like, to me, I'm the type of person like, well, let's state the obvious. Like, she looks so sick. Like, she looks really, really unhealthy and very scary. It's gonna be such a hot take. Like, I don't know if the world's ready for it, but I also feel like if we're doing that, it has to apply. Like, if we're gonna be like, we're intervening because this is a health issue. I feel like the movement of, like, women's bodies, like, I don't know how to say this in a way that's, like, not gonna get me canceled.
A
Give it a shot. We could always cut it out.
B
Okay. If we are going to, like, have these conversations, which I am down for, like, I don't think we should ignore this person who's very clearly sick. Like, if we're gonna have those conversations about extreme weight, we also should be having those conversations about extreme weight on the other end. Like I said, I think that we kind of encourage and applaud people who are sickly in the other way. And, like, we can't say that. Right. But we have to say for Ariana Grande, like, she's sick.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, it's. It is two extremes and they're not treated equally. So, like, I always feel kind of weird being like, she looks so skinny. She Looks unhealthy because it's like. You would never say it about the opposite. And they are both equally valid health issues.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, so I don't really ever, like, make, like, big statement. Like, I don't really get involved, but, like, yeah, she looks really bad and really scary, and it's. I can't even watch it. It makes me feel sick.
A
Yeah. And I think when she was doing press for Wicked and she's doing a movie, like, it's, you know, little bits.
B
You're easy to be, like, more staged.
A
And also it's like smaller bits of work. We're walking down a red carpet, we're sitting for an interview. You know, a movie is all cut up. A tour is such a physically demanding thing, even when you're at the peak of physical fitness. And tours are hard for everybody. Everybody cancels midway through. You know, mental health, physical health, everything. And it's like, to start your tour in a place like this.
B
Yeah.
A
Is so scary. Like, how is she getting through these shows? How is she going? I know dozens of these shows.
B
It reminds me in Taylor's documentary, she talked about how in the 1989 tour, she had, like, a severe eating disorder. And now when you look back, she's, like, real thin. But I think at the time, she didn't look sick. Like, we always thought she was, like, this tall and lanky girl.
A
Also had always been thin. We didn't really realize that she's thinner than usual and it wasn't, like, so surprising to. She's always, like, just been naturally thin to us.
B
But she said, like, at the end of the show, it's like she would be so lightheaded, like, really having a hard time seeing and, like, dizzy and her balance. So I don't know how Ariana, who I think is in a much more extreme state, much more. I don't know how she's physically able to do it. Yeah, she looks so scary to me, and I feel so sad for her. I think, like, people forget, like, she's been through so much. Like, the fact that she's still performing, standing, like, after Manchester, the fact that she still lives a public life after Mac Miller, like, this is a person who's been through, like. So I don't. I can't even blame her for struggling. And I don't know, like, what we're supposed to do or say. Like, I. I have no idea. And I'm sure she has people around her who are having these. No, it's not a secret. It's not like, she doesn't know.
A
Does she have people around her who are saying this to her? I don't know.
B
She's surrounded by a lot of family and, like, old school friends, like, people from Florida that she's like, you know, she's always with her mom and her grandma and her brother and her friends from, like, victorious era. It's like, the same people. I have to imagine at least one person has brought it up.
A
Yeah. And she knows, like, I imagine.
B
I think, you know, you have an eating disorder. And I also think when you have an eating disorder, like, this, people talking about it, like, makes it worse. So I don't know.
A
But I also think she. She might like how she looks. Looks?
B
Well, yes, of course. Like what? I think that's anorexia. Like, when you look sick, that's, like, a good thing.
A
Yeah.
B
But then it's also, like, body dysmorphia. She might look in the mirror and, like, think she's obese.
A
Yeah. But no, it's. It's hard to watch someone, like, dancing and jumping and singing and, like, doing the most, like, because she looks so frail.
B
She looks like, I'm so frail. You're gonna break a bone.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
It's bones popping out of her skin. Like, it's really upsetting.
A
Yeah. I don't know how she can do a whole tour. I feel like this isn't gonna go all the. Like, because most people cancel their tour anyway, like, and they're.
B
I know. I feel like the last time. I feel like the last time she went on tour, she was, like, running on fumes emotionally. Like, every clip, every news story was, she's breaking down crying. Now I feel like she's running on fumes physically. I don't know how one person can literally stand for more than 10 seconds somebody that looks like her. Like, it's just so.
A
Also, she's singing songs from Wicked.
B
No, I don't think so. That's funny.
A
It's, like, funny to watch her, like, be a pop star again and, like, do the dance moves. Like, thank you. Next it's like, glinda, what are you doing here?
B
It's true. It's like. And also, her aesthetic is so different now than it was the last time she was a pop star. The last time she was a pop star, she was classic Ariana Grande. Thigh high boots, little dresses, a classic side part ponytail. Now, she still has her side part ponytail because you'll have to literally take that from her cold, dead hands. But it's like the very light makeup. It's like fairy lacy dresses. It's very confusing.
A
Yeah. The pop hits are like, when she sings a ballad. Like, she's been doing that for the past few years, even when she has been this way for a while now. But it's like the. The bops and the. And the dance moves. Like, it's feels like a different person.
B
It does.
A
Yeah. So, yeah, we'll see. So, yeah, we'll see how the tour goes.
B
Yeah.
A
But I think people had fun, hopefully. I can't believe I didn't know this was happening.
B
I didn't know it was happening either, but I was just reminded. I was like. Because she's all over Tick tock now, like these clips. And so I ended up on Ariana Talk. It's actually so underrated that she returned to Manchester like two weeks after the event and, like, put on that whole concert. Like, I people. She, like. I think people give her a lot of grace because she's been through so much. But, like, it just. It was a reminder that, like, she's literally been through, like, the worst of the worst. Like, that's insane.
A
Yeah. I think people do give her a lot of grace.
B
Yeah. And she deserves it. She deserves more.
A
Yeah. Are you.
B
But I feel scared, like, seeing her.
A
Yeah. Are you ready for our next story?
B
What number four?
A
Yeah, it's a little Bravo news. Kyle Cook and Craig Conover seemingly making amends after drink drama amid reunion with Austin Kroll. So Kyle Cook was spotted with Austin and Craig in Charleston, I believe. Because I believe this is just like me putting pieces together. Kyle is dating Sally from Southern Charm.
B
Oh, you think that's why he was there?
A
I do. And it's July to do Southern Charm. Usually film now. Yeah. Actually this time last year they were filming, so maybe Kyle. It's funny if Kyle's now going on Southern Charm the way that Craig used to go on Summer House. Yes, yes, the tables have turned. But, yeah, the word on the street was that, like, Kyle was seeing Sally, so it would make sense that he went down to visit her and, like, be on the show while they're filming. That's like, cute content, even if they're not gonna last forever. Like, sure, why not?
B
Yes. I got tagged in this quite a bit. I do want to just sort of clear the record.
A
Do you want to put out?
B
Oh, you spoke to Crack the night before. He obviously, like, wanted to give us a heads up, by the way, like, I think Austin's bringing Kyle tomorrow. He's like. He was kind of nervous and I was like, whatever. Like, just. I know we've all, like, sort of forgiven Kyle one thing about me. I have not. I, like, hate him to my core. He owes my husband an apology. I will say that till I die. And once the apology is given, like, I will move on, but it's not coming.
A
Hopefully he apologize to give an apology. I would love that.
B
Yeah, of course. Yeah. So, like, hate, like, if Kyle Cook has no haters, which he almost does, but he never will because I'm still alive.
A
Right. Maybe he gave an apology to Craig. And what's actually nice is that if they are filming, like, we will see what happens. Right.
B
And I think it probably went better than they thought. You know, boys getting together, drinking, no hard feelings. Craig has to do what he has to do.
A
And, like, boys move on quickly.
B
Yeah. As they should.
A
As they.
B
So we're just to kind of clear my name. We're all good.
A
Oh, yeah. Yeah. And Kyle posted the photo saying, by the way, so what? Scw.
B
That's so boy. Like, so what?
A
Yeah. After, like, you know, causing fights like everybody else is fighting because you, like, started, and it's like, yeah, what?
B
So what? Yeah, but we destroyed everyone's businesses and families and lives. So what?
A
Well, the place looks great. What do you think about Kyle and Sally?
B
Do you know Sally?
A
Nobody watched.
B
Which one is she? She the one that was into Shep and, like, you see a pageant queen or something.
A
No. Oh, no, that's Molly, I think, with it. Tuba. The one.
B
Tuba.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay. I don't know Sally at all.
A
Sally came on, like, two seasons ago. She used to fight with Taylor then. She. She was really into Austin last season. Like, literally sitting there waiting for him to break up with his girlfriend. Like, just waiting, waiting, waiting.
B
And this isn't the one that Craig was with. And then, like, the. He. Like, she liked Craig and then Craig liked her, but she didn't like him anymore. That was Charlie, Sally, Charlie and Charlie
A
and Craig ended things because Sally got in the way.
B
Got it.
A
Sally just, like, does the most. The absolute most. But you know what? As far as. Do I.
B
Like, only somebody, like, desperate and who does the most, like, would be ever. And Sally was seriously dating Kyle.
A
Sally was on the Bachelor back in the day. Yeah. Who's Clayton?
B
Oh, I missed that season.
A
Yeah. So as far as. I can't speak to Sally as a person, but Sally as a character on Southern Charm, like, I don't think we're designed to like her all the time. She does also operate as, like, an agent of chaos and, like, as someone who was really rooting for Charlie and Craig. Like, she completely ruined it for them. And she's just. Yeah, she's really messy. But I actually think, like, she is who Kyle would have wanted Amanda to be more, like, out and about and fun and
B
got it the fun down to party the brother.
A
Now you. Now here's the girl who will go out every night and have fun and be one of the guys. I actually think, like, I would like to see what happens between the two of them because this is what Kyle has said that he wants.
B
Yeah. And I do think that Kyle's time on Summer House, like, is over. He's, like, too old. So graduating to Southern charm, where everyone's older and sometimes that, you know, they settle down. Like, I think that that's probably a good move for him professionally.
A
And Sally says that she wants to settle down, but then, like, she doesn't. I don't know how much, like, her actions line up with that.
B
Right.
A
But she says that she does. So we'll see.
B
We'll see.
A
It's. It's a fun plot twist. I'm here for it. I love the synergy.
B
Yeah, right. I love a crossover episode. Sweet life of. That's a sweet life of Hannah Montana.
A
Yeah. Are you ready for a fifth and final story?

A
Thank you, Frappuccino Turtle.
B
You're welcome.
A
Our fifth story is. Page Six is reporting that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey are marrying at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
B
Yeah, so I just want to say, because, you know, I, like, live for credit. Like, I got tagged in this so many times. All my friends were like, you called it. You called it. I didn't come up with this. I had seen it on Tick Tock, like, so I just want to say.
A
Yeah, originate from.
B
I just, I saw, like, people saying, like, I heard it was here. I heard it was there. And so one person said, madison Square Garden. I brought it up because I thought it was a really interesting guess. I think the fact that it's widely being reported as such means that it's not. Like, I. I just. Again, I think it could be a decoy. I think, like, I just.
A
It could be a decoy, but it's like, the good thing about Madison Square Garden is that even if everybody knows that it's there, we're not getting anything. We're not getting anything.
B
Yeah. So that's true. It is sort of like a protected and, like, the game, like, the most famous people in the world, the president is going to the game tonight. So, like, if it's secure enough for, like, the game three and four of the next finals with all those celebrities, businessmen, politicians, she's probably secure enough in there. I just don't. I don't know. I don't feel confident that we're gonna know where it is when it is. So you're saying it's July 3rd at MSG. Like, I don't know. I feel like maybe it already happened.
A
But also, do you think that, like, us, like, talking about it, like, made this article happen? Like, now they're just.
B
You think we were, like, a driving force in it being widely reported?
A
I think, like, maybe we put a spotlight on msg. Maybe we did okay.
B
Maybe because, like, our clip went so viral. Maybe. I also think, though, because I then had Heard, you know, they're saying the guest list is a thousand people.
A
Excuse.
B
Yeah. Which. Let's just operate under the assumption that that's true. There are only so many venues because, like, Jewish weddings are, like four or five hundred people. And so, like, I've been to the places in the city where you can have 500 people.
A
Yeah.
B
A thousand. No, I don't know that. So there are only so many places that can physically house a thousand people. And if you are inviting a thousand people. Yeah. It's gonna get out. You know, the Kennedy wedding, Caroline and jfk, which was, like, famously private in the middle of nowhere, was 25 people. Like, yeah, 25 people can keep a secret for a few months. But I also heard that people who got invited were told where to be and when, but not exactly where they're
A
going, what town to be in, be
B
in New York, be ready at 7 o'. Clock, mystery bus ride.
A
Yeah.
B
But, yeah, so I'm just hearing a lot of. I don't know what's real and what's not. It's hard.
A
Yeah, yeah, it's.
B
We also still have that Rhode Island, June 13th. Oh, that's this weekend, by the way.
A
We also have the Hamptons July 4th.
B
Yep.
A
So we'll see.
B
Yeah, MSG is a great option. I never would have thought of it. But just security wise, privacy wise, like, it's an amazing option. They're obviously, like, they have their security on point, and you're also, like, coming in right after high season of security. So it's like they've got all the checks in place. The mayor's going tonight, the president's going tonight. Like, they have it all on lock like the month before. So everyone's, like, sort of used to this level of intensity. Yes.
A
But what if. What if it's like, okay, a stadium is a good idea. Not a stadium, an arena. Because it's covered. The ceiling's covered. So, like, what if it's not this arena? It's a different one.
B
Right, okay. Like Arrowhead. Duh.
A
But that's a stadium.
B
So ceiling.
A
There's no ceiling.
B
Oh, drone, drone.
A
Helicopter, cover it. Helicopter.
B
No, no.
A
But why not just you in arena.
B
Yeah, yeah, it has, like.
A
What about the Long Island Coliseum?
B
Nassau Coliseum? I mean, there's so many good arenas,
A
and that's why they're gonna. They're calling it Hamptons.
B
I don't know.
A
It's a good. It's a good idea.
B
I have heard so many things, and I can't. I can't keep apart what I've heard from people I know from Instagram, from
A
the verified sources, from the unverifieds, although
B
I will say I know that for a fact. Like, people in my life who I know and are cool and, like, would know people. I've now gotten confirmed from two separate parties. It is in New York City on July 3rd. Or at least the people have been told to be in New York City on July 3rd. Maybe they're chartering a plane and taking them to the Hamptons.
A
Yeah, exactly.
B
Okay. I don't know.
A
Okay, we will wait and see.
B
Now a new bombshell has entered the villa.
A
Let's dive into our TV recap. Open up the Sean box.
B
The Sean Files. So we had two episodes to recap Friday night and Sunday night. Sunday night, we had a. A recoupling the second. That new boy Corbin chose, it was pretty obvious that he was going home. I think maybe some people thought Trinity was going to choose him. But, like, honestly, I'm really shipping Trinity and Bryce.
A
No, me too.
B
They're definitely friends.
A
But he. I think he was quaking when Trinity was like, we haven't had a lot of conversations. Like, I thought she was going to pick Sean for a second, and I don't want to see Bryce go home. It was sad to see both of them up on the chopping block.
B
I have such a bad feeling about this new bombshell that, like, the thing about Kenzie is I liked her in the beginning. It's hard to watch someone consistently be so dumb that, like, I can't really reverse. She makes really bad decisions now. This was entirely out of her control because Corbin, like, got to choose, but she said she was going to choose
A
him, which I'm glad that we got to know who she was going to choose, and I'm glad that it was Corbin, because it doesn't mean Sean could have stayed and didn't stay and, like.
B
Right.
A
I'm very happy. Even though I think she's a fool that she was going to choose Corbin.
B
She's a fool.
A
She's a fool. I'm glad that things happened the way that they would have happened, and that's that now the people here, like, don't deserve Sean.
B
Like, no, it's Jalen 2.0.
A
Sean makes me heartsick. Like, the fact that he quit his job. Six years of police force work. I know. It was, like, five in California and, like, one there. Okay. And that he has, like, nothing to go back to. He doesn't have, like, an influencer career to speak of, you know, because he was Only there for a couple of days. Like, I feel sick. I genuinely feel sick. This guy seemed like such a nice guy, such a quality guy. You know, some of, like, these girls don't. There are other. No, they don't deserve it.
B
But as much as somebody can show up in a wholesome way, he did. Like, obviously the show's disgusting. He was as good as it could be. And you know what? I saw somebody say this on social media, and it's so true because, like, I remember last season when, like, Hooda. And I imagine, like, going on the show with a kid is hard. Like, how you launch that to the. This group of immature morons, like, is difficult. And I think, like, hiding it and sort of its entrapment. Like, I think there's. I think the only right way to do it is the way he did it. And I think he was punished for it because, like, this group, like, can't even imagine dating somebody with a child. He doesn't, he doesn't get enough credit for, like, day one being like, I'm a dad, like, so proud. He never hit it for two seconds. Ariana saying that her son would be so proud of him, like, was an extremely bizarre thing to say.
A
Like, he, like, seriously flopped and like, like, like was like, slimed and like, made out with a bunch of, like, random people he didn't know on tv, but okay.
B
And I was getting upset because on the challenge, which actually, I think the challenges are mostly stupid, but the challenge on Friday was like, I was sat first of all. The Melanie V. Keda.
A
It's what we've been asking for. It's what we've been asking for.
B
When Anaya said that her office crush was Sean, I. There was like, a spark of hope that, like, these two, who I hadn't even considered as a couple as the only two normal people on this show, they're perfect for each other. And I'm devastated that they didn't get a chance. I wish she had. I don't think she's very outgoing. I think she's maybe a little shy. So, like, the fact that she's in this couple with like, a. A decent enough guy and like, he keeps saying and doing all the right things, like, why rock the boat?
A
Like, right.
B
She's obviously not the love of her life, though. And I think that if she had, like, sort of taken a chance on Sean, she would have ended up being really happy. And I'm. I'm upset.
A
Yeah, I am upset too, that he's gone. Like, he obviously didn't get enough time, no one could appreciate him because they're, like, also immature, but also, like you. We do, like, look a little critically at, like, people who go on shows like this, like, with children, and that doesn't have to apply to him too. It does apply to him.
B
It does. Yeah. It can't just be the women, Although. I'm sorry. It is different. It is.
A
I'm sorry. Still.
B
But it's weird. Agreed.
A
And there are other. There are other reality shows that you can go on with a child, and it's not as weird.
B
It's less weird.
A
Love Island. One, like, Love island is a porn, though.
B
Yeah.
A
Two, like, you don't get contact with the outside world.
B
I do think if you have a kid, they maybe let you talk. Like, on FaceTime. I think maybe.
A
But there are other shows where it's, like, more. It's less. Agreed.
B
Agreed.
A
Of insular. Like, he could go on the Bachelor
B
and you're not in a. Like, on literally on a remote island. No, I agree. It's weird, and we should be saying it about both the men and the women, but I don't want you guys to think that. I think it's equal.
A
Yeah, I know. I agree. But, like, they do deserve some hate for that.
B
Agreed.
A
Agreed.
B
He's not, like, perfect, but I think the way he, like, was so proud of being a dad, like, is really sweet, and he didn't hide it, and he was, like, it was the first thing out of his mouth. And I think this group of people is, like, so immature. When Corbin said he was 22, he graduated college three weeks ago. Like, these are not serious people, right?
A
No, they're not serious people. So let's talk about Corbin, because somebody
B
on TikTok called him Corbin GBT. He's literally, like, an AI bot. He says the weirdest things.
A
I think he's so creepy. Like, I. I don't know. I. I think you should, like, watch. Watch that one. Like this. I know everybody, like, thinks he's so handsome, and he is so handsome, and so, like, nobody's gonna question him because it's, like, everyone just wants to be with him because he's, like, so beautiful to behold. But, like, every. Everyone, like, can I get a kiss? Like, remind me of that kiss. Like, it was just, like, really creepy, and I'm getting, like, a weird vibe from him. And also now, like, it's bad news now his personality is, like, needing to come out a little bit, and there's, like, not a lot of, like, depth there when people ask him about his Family, like, he just doesn't like, go deep. And I feel like the girls are maybe still blinded by his looks, but it's not going to last that long, as you said. Like, at a certain point, like, you know, you have to be able to have a conversation. And I just, I don't know. I think he's bad news.
B
Yeah, no, he's like a 10 out of 10. Looks wise. And the more he talks, it drops. Like he. There's something very dark and sinister. I don't think he's going to be like a good match for Kenzie. And I understand, like, that she was sort of like left with Sean by default and maybe there was no connection there. And I do think that they tried. I do.
A
You know what, like, but it's something to have in common, like being the outcast.
B
Yes, yes. That happened with Casey and Anaya. They were just matched up as like two losers. And now I think that they actually are happy with one another. Back to the challenge. We need to talk about Melanie versus K. Because Kada, who I maybe didn't have like that strong of a feeling about before that episode, like, is my queen one. I like that she didn't kiss the
A
bombshell when he wanted to outside of the challenge.
B
Outside of the challenge. Like after he had just kissed Kenzie, she's like, no, no. And I was the same pickup line.
A
She is in a couple that she is happy in.
B
Happy.
A
And to kiss someone outside of a challenge, apparently, Charon, there's no rules when it comes to challenge. To kiss someone outside of a challenge, like, that's a big deal. So I was glad that she didn't do that and that like, you know, she wants to honor the couple that she's in until she wants to move on from it.
B
And then Melanie had selected her to get slimed. I forget what the question was. It was like, who? Something like not trustworthy or whatever. So such low hanging fruit. Melanie looks so immature, so stupid, like such a loser.
A
Like, it was because, like Kate, sincere, like pulled Kada for a her for a chat.
B
So quite literally, none of her did. Not her fault. She did not ask for that. She's been nothing but lovely and stunting on these hoes. She gets signed. I thought she handled it with such grace. But that's okay. I'm still gonna like cute. And you know what she did? Her slick back was slicked. She was such a queen for that. And then obviously she was gonna slime her back. But the question just was so ripe. Who needs a promotion from Their couple, her choosing Sincere. Like, it was such a slight that even Melanie couldn't fight with her. When Melanie got back to the villa, she was like, you ate with that. And, like, gave her a high five. And I do think that they, like, technically buried the hatchet, even though. I know Kate, I just fucking hate Melanie.
A
Yeah, that's what's weird. It's like the girls keep fighting. I love that. And then they, like, bury it really quickly. And it seems like everyone's moved on, but it's like, personally, I wouldn't forget, you know?
B
So let's talk about Bea.
A
And, well, then after the challenge, like, Melanie starts to crash out as the. As the children say. I guess we only started to see that side of her on Friday night of this, like, completely crazy person person. And, like, the. The talks with Sincere about, like, him exploring and because he pulled Kada for a chat, which she's, like, well within his rights to do.
B
They are Jeremiah and Huda.
A
Yeah. But I think her reaction was so, like, was so crazy. And maybe the season just feels like.
B
Which reaction?
A
When he starts talking to.
B
Oh, him. I thought you were talking about.
A
Yes, Melanie. When. When. When she's talking to Sierra and she's like. And she curses so much and it's like, yeah, I curse. I cuss a little. But, like, if you want to explore, I'll be doing the explorer.
B
You father. Yeah.
A
And it's like, it's. It's. It's uncomfortable and it's like, like, it's really, like, it's really cringe, you know, every other word is the F word.
B
It really speaks to her age. This group of people is so young. None. I don't think one of them is over 25.
A
Yeah. So, no, no. But she's actually really crazy. But then I felt conflicted. She's not just young, she's crazy.
B
I felt conflicted because she's a certifiable crazy person. But then the conversation with Bea, first of all, I was. I. I had got such a bad feeling from Bea when she, like, sat down Kenzie and was like, you know, you wanted to have a conversation with Gabrielle, but, like, you didn't talk to me about it. And I just want you to, like, take accountability for that. She kept saying accountability, and it's like, who the are you? Are you the police? Are you the sheriff of Love Island? Like, you're the behavior. Please. So with Kenzie, okay. I guess she felt personally assaulted by Kenzie, so she was accountability police. But then when Melanie, who was like, maybe Being annoying and flirty. Like with the new bombshell, she was taking it up on behalf of Kenzie and it's like, like, seriously, who are you? Like, are you the sheriff? She was pissed me off so much. I was shocked. That crazy ass Melanie handled it perfectly. She was like, oh, I did. And then she turned to Trinity. She's like, oh, I'm sorry. Because I guess it was Trinity who she offended, not Bea. So she was like, oh, I'm really sorry. Like, you know, I do that sometimes when I get enthusiastic. It should have just been done there. But then she was like, yeah. Like after apologizing, being like, yeah, like we felt like it was really extreme. Like shut the up.
A
Oh, that's so funny because, because I'm already out on Melanie. I was very excited to see someone try and put her in place. No, and what's funny is obey is like speaking from completely. Like she acts like she's speaking on behalf of Kenzie. She's actually speaking selfishly because she doesn't want Kenzie.
B
Because she doesn't want Kenzie to come
A
to Gabriel her man. So she's like taking it upon herself to be this voice of the group. But I did think Melanie's behavior with the new bombshell was very weird. She's so mad at sincere for exploring. Meanwhile she's googly eyed and she can't sit near her seat or keep it in her pants. So I like, because Melanie is now on like my dislike list, I'm happy to see someone go to toe to toe with her.
B
So Melanie is on my dislike list. But I thought Bea was so out of bounds. Like I didn't agree with her whatsoever. First of all, her behavior was definitely weird. And that's something you can like gossip with the other girls about being like. But like to confront her is crazy too. It's not an assault on you. So like you, if anyone else was upset, they could have said something but didn't even realize until Bea brought it up. And Trinity was like, yes, she did do that. And then I do think that Trinity was actually a really good mediator when Melanie got up and had her crazy. She's just like a very crazy emotional person. Like, her reaction was very outside wanting to talk to Kate. I'd be like, I need a friend. And Kate is like, no, bitch, I'm not your friend. I loved that. I'm sorry. Bea is my least favorite person on this island. I thought I, I sniffed it a little bit in her confrontation with Kenzie, like the morality police. But then I just. I'm sorry. I. I literally hate this person. And she's so high and mighty because she's, like, in a good connection with the hottest guy there. And, like, I'm sorry. I want him so bad to dump her. Like, I just. I need her to know what it's like because, like, how you act at the top is interesting when you get down on bottom. Right. Like, and so she's just so holier than thou. Like, I can't stand her.
A
Oh, that's so funny. I feel that way. And I'm just, like, happy to see someone put Melanie in her place because she's, like, tearing up. She's like a hurricane. It's like, it hasn't even. Like, I understand week one, like, two, three, as the weeks go on.
B
Like, you're becoming more involved in the sociological experiment.
A
No. And, like, but not. It hasn't even started yet. You're being so mad at this guy who, like, likes you so much, and it's like, he's just chill. He's objectively gorgeous. He's allowed to go and have a conversation. Well, even if she was ugly.
B
Yeah. Right.
A
To go and have a conversation with someone that, like, that is what the show is. And you are so, so not even close to a place where, like, we're not exploring. And just the way that she handled everything. And then also with all the new guy stuff, she's being, like, so enthusiastic and performative, and it's, like, also to rile up sincere. It's not even because she, like, actually likes him. Because if she had a chance to recouple with him, would she have chosen him? No. So you're using him.
B
It's like watching a middle schooler on Love island using him.
A
And it is stopping. I mean, now I don't want Corbin to, like, really be with. With Trinity or Kenzie, but, like, it. It was their time to, like, try and talk to this guy. When, like, you are locked in on sincere and, like, you're co opting everyone's time to, like, to put on this performance for Sincere. Like, it really rubs me so the wrong way that, like, if anybody has any issue with her, wants to raise it to her. I'm listening.
B
No, I'm sorry. Like, how you feel about Melanie is how I feel about Bea. Wow. And then I just want to say the conversation that they. Where they made up and then Abaya was like, I wish I was, like, as athletic as you.
A
Like, that was really weird when Melanie was like, you get to, like, like, play soccer with Them and I'm just
B
like standing there watching like, like that was like genuine. Like this is what I mean. Like actual teenagers. Like we're watching like people who have not experienced life who have, do not have their frontal lobes fully formed. Like they're not smart, they're not intelligent, they're not saying, they're not mature. Like the conversations are like brain dead.
A
And that was like her paying her a compliment.
B
It was. Yes.
A
It was so weird. I know.
B
We were so back.
A
We meant to be like moved by the scene but I'm like, I don't think that feel bad for, for this one because she's too athletic and I'm supposed to feel bad for that one because she's not athletic.
B
Too pretty.
A
Yeah, because she's too pretty. No, it was they played Die on this Hill by Sienna Spirit. Like they wanted us to feel some sort of way.
B
And I guess that's like now Bea's like storyline is that like her whole life she's had to be tough and like Gabrielle makes her soft and like that speech that she gave at the recoupling felt so outsized for this three day situationship. Like I actually felt uncomfortable and I think he was already like interested a little bit now in Kenzie from like her performance, from her splits.
A
Because she's in the splits.
B
Yeah, he's here to that I still. And I think this, this crazy speech she gave maybe pushed him even further into Kenzie's arms. I hope so.
A
Yeah. It's like everyone's just acting like so set and it's like we just got here. Nobody is with anyone. Everything is open and fluid.
B
I want to talk about Anaya.
A
Okay.
B
So Anaya is hands down my favorite person in the villa. I think she's such a queen. I don't really believe in their love. Like I think that they were like a situation of like a connection of convenience because they bought like were the singles at the first challenge and now they're just together and they maybe have some things in common. And he keeps saying all the right things. I don't know if I believe him but I got very like caught up in their whirlwind romance when they had the conversation about how like Anaya is the blueprint and it's like a conversation on colorism how like, you know, I think like in the black community, like the darker your skin sometimes like, like you like they, they like place less value like the darker your skin is. And he was just like, no, no, you're the blueprint. Like I, I Got, like, I was. I do feel like he's a little bit of, like, a wordsmith, just, like, says what he's exactly supposed to say, but I got caught up in it. I'm like, yes, she is a blueprint.
A
I know.
B
She's the only person on this show who's not out here embarrassing herself, acting like an immature. Like, I love her. And so the fact that he said that and saw her, I was like, you know what? She is the blueprint. Like, I got very caught up in it. And, like, they're my number one.
A
No, I know. And, like, even though I'm not completely, like, sold on, like, their romantic connection yet, like, he's done nothing to, you know, be. He's not said one thing to her and then something to someone else. So, like, I'm gonna give them the better. Give him the benefit of that, because I do think, like, she. She's fantastic. And she really seems to be, like, the voice of reason on the show towards the girls. You know, she's always giving advice. And also for the audience, like, someone that. Who's, like, a reliable narrator.
B
Yes.
A
Because the other girls can get a little crazy.
B
Yeah. 100.
A
Also, Trinity.
B
Such a queen.
A
Also, Trinity's coming up.
B
Trinity's coming up. And I have to, like, stop my brain from resurfacing the daylight savings car blow job because, like, that's not congress with the girl. First of all, I thought she really ate in, like, telling BS she wasn't 100. Right. And then her connection with Bryce, they're just, like, so funny. He was. She was like, did you have, like, an ugly face growing up? And he was like, no. Like, I actually think that they're funny. I wish she didn't share that.
A
Yeah, there was a lot that was shared there that was not.
B
Yeah.
A
Was not favorable toward the villagers.
B
Yeah. But that was by far.
A
Yeah, that was obviously the highlight. But I'll. I'll. I'll try and move past it. Otherwise, you know, we'll never move on.
B
Yeah.
A
But no, that's. I can't think about it too hard. But yeah. No, I like her and Bryce. Oh. I like Bryce and Zach. Like, I think they're gonna.
B
Yeah. Thinks that Bryce and Zach have, like, a whirlwind romance. They are the nickelandria of this season. Like, two people who are acting as friends, but who are obviously in love. Even though Nicolandra is not in love. They're h. No.
A
Or maybe they'll be the first throuple. Like, maybe that was a foreshadowing When Bryce, like, wanted to get in on that. Like, maybe it's the three of them.
B
I love that.
A
Yeah. Something new and fresh.
B
So tonight I will not be able to watch because I'm busy, like, being not like anyone else and certainly not like any other girls. So Love island recap resumes on Wednesday.
A
Okay, great.
B
That's our show. You guys, thank you so much for listening to the toast of money.
A
Pour one out for Sean.
B
Like, and I can't because my simple modern is leak proof. But I'm pouring.
A
I just need. I need them to give him his job back.
B
I know maybe he'll be a cuss
A
on more or something and it's like. But no, the thing is, he had
B
no, like, sparks or connections with anyone, so bringing him back doesn't, like, shift the plot at all. He's just some random.
A
Like, I saw the two bombshells that we're getting, and, like, they're probably gonna go for, like, those other guys, obviously, like, not, like, the steady, stable cop. And also, like, he did did say, like, he wants to, like, do it doggy style, pull your hair and spit in your mouth. And, like, I don't.
B
Oh, my God, I forgot that about him.
A
And so, like, I don't know how he can get back on the force after that.
B
Oh, my God, I don't know how the other, you know, cops can look
A
him in the eyes after every. How can anyone look after like that? And also, I found that challenge, that slime part, like, was a humiliation ritual. It was really upsetting when they, like, Kenzie was the first girl and, like, it just totally, like, rocked her, and then she has to go.
B
The reason why it was so humiliating, it was because it wasn't like a dunk tank where they drop you down, they hurled you forward so you're, like, flying through the air, like, with your
A
limbs, and you look so. And like, belly flopping, your face hits the water. It's also, like, slime, and it's disgusting. It's not like, water. If it had been water, then they could just be wet, which they swim all day anyway.
B
Who cares?
A
The fact that Kenzie and the other girls, she, like, had to do her performance like this slimed up, like, goop ball. It was really humiliating, and I found it upsetting.
B
Agreed.
A
I found it upsetting to watch. And if somebody slimed me, let me tell you. Let me tell you might think we're friends, friends. You might think weeks will go by and I'm your best friend in this
B
house, and they'll think that you've forgotten.
A
And they'll think, I will never forget. And I will hit you where it hurts the most. When you're least expecting it.
