A
Good morning, girlies.
B
It's the toast.
A
It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host.
B
It's your favorite show.
A
The best five things you need to know.
B
We'll start your day off.
A
Swirly.
B
It's the toast.
A
They sound amazing.
B
Welcome back to the toast.
A
So Citrul Z. Citral Z. Citral Z. If you're not watching, then you might not realize.
B
No, you realize because the episodes are back to coming out at a normal hour. Like, not Pacific time. Coast affecting my business. I flew home the second I saw the dip.
A
Yeah, people in L. A, they. Nobody wants to work these days.
B
It seems like nobody wants to work these days. Yeah, that's right. I'm back. The frames are back. Charities back in New York. She's literally never been happier. The WI FI in her house fixed. The flood fixed. Washing machine still not working. But I'll survive. I'll just wear dirty underwear.
A
Nature is healing. Turney's back in New York. Bruno's back to work supporting his mama. He's taking care of me because Bruno is my doula, so he's just, like, keeping tabs on me.
B
I'm really glad that you have a healer in your midst.
A
Throughout this late stage of pregnancy, I'm constantly being seen by a professional. So everything's coming up toast.
B
So Ben had left LA for the weekend to go to, like, his best friend's wedding. And I was like, you know what? I can do this. Like, I can be in another state alone. And you know what? I can't. I can't be in another state alone. I. And people.
A
That's a lot to wrap your head around.
B
Of course it is. People also have asked me, like, have you experienced any sort of, like, postpartum depression? Postpartum anxiety, and up until this weekend, no anxiety. Like, oh, my God. What? I don't. I haven't really had, like, a lot of experience with it. It's horrible. Oh, my God, it's so terrible.
A
What are you guys living through?
B
My God, it's seriously crippling. Like, not me breathing. Like, one, two, three. It was horrible. So, yeah, I'm home and I've actually never, ever been happier. Okay. I have a beautiful. What am I running from? I have a beautiful new home and not bends Business thriving while we were in LA Mines comes crashing down. I got so much hate for my Pacific time. No, no. This episode will be out so early. Hi, guys. How you doing?
A
Hi. Yeah, we missed you. Honestly, it's better for me. Like, you know, I'm never gonna clip.
B
Your wings and jives.
A
I'm never gonna clip your wings. I'm not gonna say, like, turdy, you can't go live out your content creator dreams in la.
B
My dreams? Please. You can't go live out your husband's content creator.
A
And I do feel like you being in la, like, can't be bad for business, so I'm gonna be flexible. But I'm happy you're home.
B
Yeah, it was going to be nice for your maternity leave, which, by the way, this is Jackie's last week, so make it count.
A
Or is it. I'm just sort of here until I can't no more. Yeah, like, I don't have any hard stops, you know?
B
Okay, well, that's great because I had a ton of amazing guest co hosts booked, all of whom I canceled on. So I'd like to apologize to all them and. And thank them for being so generous with their time. But I'll still crush it.
A
Last night, like, and it's not even because I might give birth, but, like, I might just, like, run out of gas. Of course, last night I got, like, an aura migraine out of nowhere. It was so we were watching football and, like, I could. The TV was like, BLEEP blue.
B
Blah.
A
I had to get into bed at 8 o' clock and, like, just lay in the dark. Of course, I didn't fall asleep till.
B
1Am oh, my God, that sounds terrible.
A
It was. Yeah, it was really bad. So I'm like, oh, if. If things like this are going to happen, like, I don't know, you know, that. That would be like, next morning I'd be like, hey, can Ben do it? So I'm just gonna be here until I feel like I can't know.
B
Mo. That's great. Listen, the sh. If you want to cut out early, I'm okay.
A
And like, in the past, in the past, I've always felt like I want to, like, have a hard stop so I can say my peace and say my goodbyes. And. And then last time I did that and I still had, like, five more. I went five more days and I was like, oh, well, I could have just been podcasting. So, like.
B
And the days are, like, long and boring when you're doing nothing. Just, like, waiting for a baby to come.
A
So I will be exiting this podcast. We're not going to have, like, an official. I love that we're not going to have an official changing of ceremonies. And also know if I do stop podcasting, it doesn't mean necessarily that I gave birth, but I just like, gave out. I gave up.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
I gave up, so.
B
Well, the good news is that I have not only I'll shuck and jive whatever you need, but I've also have a Halloween plan. So if Jackie's still here, I have an amazing costume that also works just as good if Jackie's not here.
A
Yeah, yeah, don't worry. In some ways, it's. It works better if I'm here, but actually, in other ways, it works better if I'm not here.
B
No, yeah, yeah. No, guys, don't worry. It's. We and I have to. It came from one of our listeners who had the most amazing idea. I didn't even come up with myself, thousand percent.
A
How was your weekend? I know you were, like, traveling and having anxiety. Was there any.
B
It was horrible.
A
Was there any joy?
B
I watched Chad Powers last night. I'm. And not only am I loving the show so much, I found out the craziest thing about the show. Okay, so there's a love interest. She's like the coach's daughter. Of course. Sorry. The coach's daughter. And she looks so familiar to me. She looks like a mix of Taylor Donahue and Aaron Andrews. But you know what? I found out why she might look familiar to me. Do you know who she's married to?
A
No.
B
Okay. But I want you to know who she is. Somebody in sports that we've actually been talking about in An Extremely Drawn.
A
Mark Sanchez.
B
Yes.
A
They're married.
B
Yes.
A
She's been, like, hiding out.
B
It's his wife. She's on the show. And I was shook because she looks so young. I thought she was, like, 19.
A
Interesting.
B
Isn't. That's a good fact? No.
A
Yeah, that is pretty good.
B
And have you and your husband started the show?
A
No, we haven't yet. I've been catching up yet.
B
By the way, there's only four episodes out. Like, we're now watching it episodically, which is so annoying.
A
I've been catching up on, like, everything on my content plate that I always put there just to, like, you know, it's a graveyard of that. I, like. I don't know how to end a conversation, but I picked it up and I watched DCC season two finally. Because all summer we, like, planned to watch together, but then we were all @ grandma's at 8:00 clock going to bed, and what else did I watch? Something.
B
Nobody wants this.
A
Oh, I did finish Nobody Wants this. Which, you guys know when the new season comes out this week, Like, I'm so relevant and on Time I finished Love is Blind.
B
Well, like, I'm caught up.
A
I'm caught up as well. And then what? I didn't realize that Molly May's new doc, like, is out now, so that's probably what I'll do tonight.
B
But it's also. I actually saw a clip. I saw a clip that's making the rounds on Tick Tock from Molly Mae's new doc. She's kind of, like, losing her about it. It was so relatable. People were like, she's being rude. I'm like, no, she's being real. They were. They were getting her dressed for the big l' Oreal show. And, like, she hated everything. I'm like, she's like, her body, her legs, she was too covered up, too sexy. She was being so real. She was, like, not being the nicest, but, like, you know when you get in, like, a state like that, like, there's no talking to you.
A
No, it's true. And that's, like, when I say when it's, like, hard to be a model.
B
Like, a thousand percent.
A
I know it's a joke, but I wouldn't want to do it. I know it's a joke to say that, like.
B
Like, modeling is hard, but, yeah, I.
A
Wouldn'T want to do it.
B
And they're always asking us to do it, and we always have to say, like, no, we don't want to model.
A
Like, the two times that we did it, I was like, I'm glad. And just know, like, Kendall Jenner can complain. Like, the models can't complain. No, like, nobody wants to hear how hard it is to be a model. But just know. I know.
B
Yeah, we've modeled twice. Wait, when you say twice, what are you talking about? I know the one.
A
The one for Children's Place.
B
Yeah. Which was, like, ended up so cute. But, like, the day itself was hard.
A
And I just assume there's another one. But it's like, even when we do, our photo shoots are like toast. Oh, for merch, please. It's in my backyard for 30 minutes. And that's so hard.
B
But even that is horrible. That's the thing.
A
When we did our. Our photo shoot for our new album cover.
B
Okay, but that was actually fun. Everybody came. All your friends came. We had lunch. Like, remember? Lunch?
A
Where'd we have a lunch?
B
We, like, brought food in.
A
We ate. Oh, that's when we ate. Yeah. I actually don't remember the food. That's really sad.
B
All your friends stopped by. Kellyanne was there. Carla, makeup. That was fun.
A
Yeah. We were like, Cute and swirly, but still, it's a hard job by the way.
B
Yeah, that one was fun. Cuz like that was a photo shoot we paid for so like we could leave whenever we wanted when contract we're not really modeling.
A
We got to like call the looks too. Like you don't like what you look like.
B
We were in charge of everything.
A
Yeah.
B
And mind you, it was like three hours. Most photo shoots it's like a whole day. It's horrible.
A
It's horrible, you guys.
B
So like stop asking us to be in your photo shoot. It's so annoying.
A
Check on your local models.
B
So true. So yeah, I caught up on Love is Blind. I didn't really do much this weekend except just like pace back and forth.
A
Yeah. And come home. She's coming home.
B
Now let's talk about home.
A
Home is where the rodeo is.
B
Oh, and Romeo came home. That's how you know I needed like a full factory reset.
A
That's how you know she's like, I miss Romeo.
B
So when I got home yesterday, Ben was already home because he was here for the wedding. And I was like, I think Romeo can come home. And I swear to God, I don't know what he thought I was going to say, but it certainly wasn't that. So Romeo came home last night, shout out to Bruce and Ava for taking such good care. He, I, I'm in a place to receive him. Do you know what I mean? I'm yearning for just my home and Romeo is my family. And you know what?
A
It was good you missed him. That little bugger.
B
I didn't miss him, but I missed like what he represented.
A
Yeah. Now, like now the, the puzzle is complete.
B
Yeah. No, we're family.
A
There was like a tiny piece messing, tiny loud barking piece. Yeah.
B
And you know what it takes. You need to leave your home to appreciate your home. You know?
A
Ain't that the truth?
B
Even though I feel I always appreciate my home, but more so like my hometown.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, you almost like a New York this, New York that. Oh please, you should see what the people in LA are living like. Horrible. Horrible.
A
Well, we're happy to have you back, Romeo.
B
It's so much better this way. Like I don't have anxiety about like rushing the episodes out. Like they're gonna come out at a normal time and everybody can eat lunch.
A
And now you could say you tried. When people are like, Trudy, like, why don't you bring your talents to Hollywood?
B
Like, yeah, no, I did.
A
You tried. And Ben was like, fine. Like, I mean, you were there for like two weeks. That's a long time.
B
I was there for about like 12 days. No, actually like four. 12. Yeah, 12. And it wasn't what Ben would have decided, but he supported. Once I said, I'm like, I'm having anxiety. He was like, okay, we can go. He was like, you're having anxiety. I'm just not anxiety girl.
A
You know, the town got. That's LA's effect, like, made him a drug addict. And you have mentally anxious.
B
A ball of anxiety.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
No, not me. Struggling with my mental health. Like, seriously, it's hell. I'm like, seriously. I feel like Simone Biles. Like, it's horrible. Yeah. For real.
A
Now you know what everyone's talking about. Yeah, yeah.
B
So I'm just ready to slay. Like, I want to come here and, like, do my podcast and slay.
A
Slay all day, per se.
B
No, not all day. I'm tired. I have, like, a lot going on.
A
Slay for the next hour and fifta, per se.
B
Yeah, or like, slay the morning away. Just the morning.
A
I agree. Just the morning. I've got lunch plans.
B
I want to thank you for being supportive of me in this sort of transatlantic journey, and I promise I won't do it again.
A
Okay. But, you know, don't make promise. Like, you don't have to promise anything. Just see where the wind takes you to.
B
I like that too.
A
We've got a lot of stories. It's actually going to be like, oh.
B
Did you happen to consider the story I submitted for consideration for tomorrow?
A
It's giving tomorrow. Because we have. I'm already at seven stories. I'm gonna kind of whittle down, seeing where the conversation takes us.
B
I guess we'll be talking about Kristen Bell's weird Instagram caption tomorrow.
A
Yes, unfortunately, we actually have a lot of stories because it's Mondays.
B
Okay. Okay.
A

A
Thank you. Tartar.
B
You're welcome.
A
Tartar sauce. Our first story. Some like major international news that spans art, fashion, history.
B
Oh, my God.
A
The Louvre was robbed. Jewels with an inestimable value. A word I'd never even heard before because it's never used. An inestimable value stole from the Napoleon collection at the Louvre. So this weekend, several people disguised as construction construction workers broke into the world famous Louvre museum in Paris on Sunday, cracking open display cases and stealing jewelry that once belonged to Emperor Napoleon and his wife. Officials said at least nine pieces of jewelry of inestimable heritage and historical value, including crowns, necklaces, earrings and brooches, were taken in the brazen heist before the thieves made their getaway on motorcycles. Two ministers said investigations have begun and a precise list of the stolen items is underway.
B
They also stole a tiara that they dropped on their way out and broke.
A
Yeah.
B
So many thoughts. It's literally a movie. Yeah, obviously I thought of them at gala. What was that movie called? Oceans 8.
A
11.
B
No, I think it was 1112. Yeah, whatever. Ocean's 14. And of course, you know, never to victim blame. I blame the heistman wholeheartedly. But the Louvre is supposed to be impenetrable. And if you're gonna house great works of art, jewelry, the Mona Lisa is there and some construction workers, like, how dumb are you?
A
All you need is to buy like a construction vest on Amazon and take like a forklift up to the second floor and break a window.
B
Right. So it's giving like two kids, one on the kid's shoulder wearing a trench coat, trying to get into the movies. Like, how dumb are you?
A
Yeah. That it could be so easy. It was done like in a matter of minutes. It was like right before the museum opened. No one was harmed. It was like so quick. They just like took everything and ran off. And it was also, it didn't seem like, I mean, what do I know? But like, they made a lot of like, mistakes. They tried to like, set their little crane on fire on the way out. Maybe it has like a serial number.
B
Whatever.
A
They were not able to do that. They dropped the crown, they dropped one of their, like, vests. They'd left some evidence. Macron has said that he will Put the full weight of the French behind this.
B
Yeah, not the full weight of the French. Like, please.
A
To find these perpetrators and bring them to justice. Do you think that's they're gonna find them?
B
They might find them, but I don't believe that they will find the jewels. Like, I think, you know, they take them apart and sell them for parts. And I think, like, they're already on the black market. You know what I mean? It's been 24 hours.
A
Interesting. That would be really crazy because, like, you can't really sell this stuff. Like, I guess. Yeah. You could break it down and you.
B
Couldn'T sell the necklace.
A
Like, sell off some rubies. But no, like, real buyer is gonna buy stolen. But there are people who don't.
B
Surprise.
A
Yeah. There are people who don't care.
B
Not only that, the, like, these things get flooded back into, like, the art market and people don't realize they're stolen. That happened with a lot of, like, Nazi artwork.
A
Yeah, but no, but, like, I mean, anyone who's, like, looking could. Could, you know, realize that this is a significant.
B
Of course. Not like, the black market being so busy this morning. Yeah.
A
All of a sudden.
B
Well, all I know is that, I mean, I'm just terrified at what these. These people must be shaking in their boots. Not the full weight of the French country. Like, in the same country that just, like, rolled over and took it for the Nazis. Please. I'm petrified.
A
Yeah, he's. He's saying they're gonna get him.
B
Sure. Okay. Get them. Like, you didn't. And, you know, if you don't get them immediately, like, you're not getting them. Do you know what I mean?
A
Yeah, but I mean, one time the Mona Lisa was stolen for two years and they recovered her.
B
What?
A
Yeah, like a hundred years ago, a worker at the Louvre, like, stole the Mona Lisa. It was like an inside job. And they. It was missing for two years.
B
How'd they find it?
A
I don't know.
B
They should make a movie about that. Like, that actually sounds interesting.
A
But also, it's not like you would, like, cut up the Mona Lisa for parts. Like, I actually think it's harder to move. So it's just wound up sitting in someone's house.
B
It's actually such a good call, like, stealing it. For what? To look at it and low key. It's like, not even that nice. It's tiny.
A
That's sweet, but you work there already, like, right?
B
You can look at it without going to jail.
A
But the jewels, Like, I actually do think that you're Right. That they.
B
You sell them for Goner. Yeah. Oh, I didn't even think about that. Like, what's the point in stealing priceless artwork? Like, you literally can't sell it. Imagine having the Mona Lisa hanging. Actually, I guess if you were, like, a. Like, a cartel or, like, somebody who, like, lives in illegal life.
A
Yeah.
B
You would buy it. Like, not to show it off, but because, like, you have it.
A
Yeah. If you live in illegal life.
B
But there's, like, four people, four potential sellers, and you would have to find them without getting caught.
A
Yeah. Or steal yourself.
B
This is different. This is like, I'm not even one who, like, cares so much about, like, culture and history and, like, the preservation of art, but, like, this is disgraceful.
A
Yeah, this is disgraceful. Like, you have a responsibility. You've been charged with all of this historic, significant. You're the stewards, and you did not.
B
And you know what? I don't know if I feel like I've told this story. I went to a wedding once at the Met, and I, like, took a picture, and it's like, do not touch. And I had, like, my finger. Like, I wasn't touching, but I was like, you know, like a dumb picture on my Instagram with millions of followers. Like, not somebody finding me at the wedding who, like, works for the Met and telling me to delete it. Like, they were, like, being annoying and, like, had sticks up their butts. But at least, like, nothing gets stolen from there.
A
Yeah.
B
Until it does.
A
Yeah. Just really bad.
B
Yeah.
A
Bad for Napoleon and his wife, Josephine.
B
Well, I'm sending my thoughts and prayers. Josephine must be feeling, like, so, you know, it's such a terrible feeling to have your privacy invaded. Praying for Josephine, Sending lots of love.
A
Yeah.
B
How do the kids do? Wait, I know we have this conversation. Obviously, millennials do these hard hands. What do the kids do? Oh, they do this. No. Yeah.
A
Yeah. No, no, they do like. Like. Like that.
B
No.
A
Yes, they do.
B
No, they.
A
They don't do it like this. No.
B
They take their index and middle finger. Yeah. They do this.
A
It looks like. It looks like gang signs when they do it. I don't know, Josephine. But you know what I've realized? So this generation of, like, teens and stuff, they do it like this. But the next generation, like, of our kids are going to do it like this because we do it, like, taught them, because I'm always going like this. So then, like, they're gonna go like this. So we're gonna bring it back.
B
That's cute, but beautiful to think about.
A
Yeah.
B
It's the cir. Miracle of life.
A
Are you ready for our next story? The girls are seemingly fighting again. Selena and Haley.
B
Oh, I have to. I can't believe this wasn't story number one. I have to talk about this.
A
Well, story number one is the international crime news. Like, it just has to be. You know, this is bigger. This is also an international crime. Selena and Haley seem to be beefing again.
B
No, Selena Gomez is beefing with the mirror. Okay.
A
Yeah. So Haley Bieber gave an interview to Wall Street Journal, and she was asked about being in Sephora. She was asked about potential comparisons between other brands. And Haley said, it's always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn't ask for that. When people want to see you in a certain way and they've made up a story about you in their minds, it's not up to you to change that. She also had said something. I need to find the exact quote. Give me a second.
B
Yeah, it's in our chat.
A
Yeah, we were talking about it. Yeah, I'm going to surface it. One second.
B
She was then also asked, like, the reporter was trying to start stuff. Haley did not give in. They didn't even mention Selena. But then in the article, when the reporter was transcribing the answer to these, like, sort of pushy questions, the reporter brought up Selena Gomez's rare beauty. That was never brought up in the interview.
A
Yeah. So read the whole. She said. I asked if Bieber feels competitive now that her products have to stand up against other Sephora. Sephora brands. Quote, I think there's space for everybody. She says she's most competitive with herself. She adds, I don't feel competitive with people that I'm not inspired by. She said. Then the reporter said, so nothing there had anything to do with, like, rare beauty yet. Then the reporter wrote, is she nervous that Sephora shoppers might compare road to rare beauty, the brand from Selena Gomez that's also sold at Sephora? Fans have suggested there's a rivalry between the two. Gomez used to date Justin when they were younger. Before she can respond to publicist sitting nearby tells her to skip the question, Haley says, quote, it's always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn't ask for that. When people want to see you a certain way and they've made up a story about you in their minds, it's not up to you to change that. Literally talking to you.
B
Reporter. Literally. So literally, she did not bring up Selena. The other reporter did. And then when the reporter did, Selena did. Haley did not mention Selena at all. Selena then took to her Instagram to, like, respond, even though Haley wasn't talking to her. And will you read what she wrote there as well?
A
Yes. She wrote on her story, just leave the girl alone. Oh, my God. It reminds me of leave the mouse alone.
B
Leave the mouse alone.
A
Let the mouse go.
B
I love that.
A
Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn't affect my life whatsoever. It's just about relevance.
B
Lies.
A
It's just about relevance, not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop.
B
Not her calling Hailey Bieber stupid and then saying, be kind. I'm sorry. If Selena Gomez has no haters, I have sadly passed away. Give my best to Romeo. I can't. Like, seriously, first of all, this is such an intentional, like, reporter being a shit starter.
A
Yeah. And that she can or doesn't want to.
B
As a woman who's been in the media for so many years. Like, sorry, who's the not intelligent one? First of all, leave Haley Bieber the alone. I've seriously had a. Enough of these people. Selena's so desperate to be a victim. I cannot take it. If Selena, like, I really need to calm down.
A
I just really thought she had moved on from these sorts of antics. Like, she just got. I just. I just assume that, like, in the marriage and I saw these interviews between her and Betty and he just, like, seems like a really great partner for her and that the two of them together, like, are stronger together, that you don't have to, like, resort to these, like, victim antics.
B
She's so desperate.
A
But I. That's what happens when you assume. She never said, I'm. I'm good now. I'll stop doing these things.
B
Just, like, harmless beef. Like, we've talked about this at length, but, like, it could seriously be studied how horrible the Internet has been to Haley Bieber for an actual decade. And while it's never been Selena Gomez, like, outright doing it, it is her fans doing it on her behalf. And she's never discouraged them. Right. She always does it in, like, a cloaked veil way where it actually incites more hate towards Haley Bieber. And this is just, like, another instance of her doing that. And, like, I'm so sick of it. Like, seriously, Selena Gomez needs to be held accountable for her actions. I mean it.
A
Yeah. But also, this reporter with this question, there's a hundred brands in Sephora, and Haley Bieber's saying, like, I'm not, like, you know, competitive about people. I don't feel inspired by, like, I think it's very, like, just honest and straightforward to say that you wouldn't be inspired by every brand in Sephora. There are so many.
B
And to be clear, she said that before the reporter brought up Selena.
A
But no, Selena is saying what Selena saying is take out the rare beauty of it. I'm inspired by everyone. I'm better than you because I'm inspired by every brand in Sephora.
B
Well, that's not good. You should have standards. You shouldn't be inspired by everyone. Other people are stupid and ugly and make bad shit sometimes. Like, I'm not inspired by every podcast. I've listened to some of the worst, shittiest podcasts. Like, I'm inspired by the good ones. What a dumb thing to say.
A
That's where she gets, like, very, like, high and mighty holier than now. I'm inspired by all.
B
Ugh. I'm so over this. Like, it's. It's hella problematic behavior. For real.
A
Yeah. I just can't believe people are, like, falling for it still. Like, both Selena self and then also like, the fans who, like, are now taking up their pictures. I guess that means us too, since, like.
B
Yeah, no, by the way, I have a Haley Bieber stand till I die. And sometimes, like, I'm always going to defend her and I can acknowledge my own bias. Right? There's no bias here. I'm sorry. Like, her responding to something that wasn't about her and, like, sending more hate Haley's way. Like, shame on her. What is she doing this from her honeymoon? Get a life. Yeah, she's really an unstable.
A
And I just wish, like, if she wants to come for Haley, just like, go, like, say what you mean.
B
You stole my boyfriend.
A
Say what you mean. Like, stop it. I'm stabbing everyone.
B
Yeah, be kind, Spider. Everyone be kind. Be. You're not intelligent. You're ugly. You're fat, you're stupid. Be kind.
A
Like, just.
B
That's what she said.
A
I will have so much more respect for her if she just let it rip.
B
Owned it.
A
Instead of, like, hiding behind all this. Like, victory.
B
Remember when they took that picture at the LACMA?
A
Well, that's our next story. Is LACMAR Jackie LOL. Yeah.
B
Hate.
A
Well, I don't know if it was LACMER, but the Academy Museum Gala 2025 red carpet took place this weekend. So this is always the event where everyone who's anyone goes brings their. I don't know what it looks for. It's for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles in support of the museum's education initiatives, public programming, and future exhibitions. So it's like a charity gala that's extremely well attended because it has to do with movies and the arts, motion pictures.
B
Got it. Everybody shows up, they have a par g red carpet, and everybody really always looks their best.
A
Yeah, they bring.
B
It's kind of like a smaller version of the Met Gala, crazily enough, but.
A
It'S not costume, like, and also other. It's just ceremonies. I feel like people either play it, like, really safe because they don't want to, like, overshadow their night with a bad dress, or they're just trying to do something big. Like at the Grammys. This is one where it's like, we're just gonna look beautiful because it's a beautiful high society. Yeah. So attendees included Kim Kardashian, who made news by wearing a sheet over her face.
B
Yeah. It's so stupid because she wore a sheet over her face for the second time, but it's also stupid because she was, like, so close to slaying, and I feel like we've been really hard on her. Her fashion, like, low key sucks for somebody who's, like, so obsessive fashion, she, like, never slays, and the dress was sick. She just took the bag off her head. She would have looked amazing.
A
I don't get it. Like, I don't. And I don't want to. Sorry. I don't. I don't want to be, like, I'm.
B
Not, like, woke and cultured. I didn't get it, and I don't.
A
Want to want this to be, like, my next favorite thing and I go out with a bag of my head.
B
Yeah. No, I. I'm woman enough to admit, like, I don't get it, and.
A
And. And that I don't want to participate, and I didn't get it.
B
It's not a trend I'll be following.
A
I didn't get it when she did it on the Met Gala red carpet. And.
B
And that was way uglier.
A
Yeah. Yeah. So she made news with that. Jacob Elordi was there. He does always get out on this night.
B
I feel like he has a different girlfriend there every night.
A
It's true, Kai. Speaking of, Kai Gerber was best looking, best new face, best everything. She somehow, like, looks more beautiful than ever. Like, it looks like she had work done, but, like, how do you tune up a Picasso?
B
A perfect. I actually don't think she had work done. It. It's crazy to say. I think she, like, lost a little bit of weight, which Is insane. And I feel like she slayed the house down. Boots on, her glam. Like, maybe she had a new makeup artist because she doesn't do, like high, high glam, like, contour. Smokey eye. Yeah, she did, like, full beat. And she looked. Looked sick.
A
Yeah, she looked sick. It was. Something was different. Manish tana.
B
Winds in the east. Storm coming in. Like, I can't figure it out, but I love it.
A
It's just like, more beauty.
B
I love it. And I've been seeing a lot of footage of her and her boyfriend. They were like, out and about somewhere recently. Her, like, no, no name boyfriend. I'm obsessed.
A
Lessons in chemistry.
B
Yeah, right.
A
I'm obsessed.
B
Currently unemployed.
A
Yeah, it's okay. He's an EPO baby. And love. He was really good in lessons in chemistry. That'll tide him over for a while.
B
It was enough to carry him through.
A
Haley Bieber was there. Selena was there.
B
Haley Bieber looked amazing.
A
She did. Kendall was there.
B
Not my favorite outfit from her, but she's just so pretty and tall. Like, who cares?
A
Yeah, Yeah. I think she likes being looking, like, serious. Like. Yeah. Eyes of fashion. Yeah, right.
B
Like that. Ask me what I'm reading. I'm, like, kind of a nerd. A lot of people don't know about this. Like, me and my friends were nerds. And he's like, weird. Sure, sure. We like to sit around and, like, paint.
A
Bunch of other peeps attended. And who's her man? Yeah, you know, Lewis Patridge, but I.
B
Don'T know who that is. Thank you. Yeah, he's from a show that we don't watch, but, like, people love him.
A
Okay, cool.
B
I. I want to say stranger things, but I also want to not say.
A
To say or not to say.
B
That is Louis Partridge.
A
So it was a big night. Always a fun night to see the picks from. It's kind of an ideal red carpet. Like, I just want pictures. I don't want to telecast. I don't want to like, like, you know.
B
Okay. That's so funny that you brought that up because they did have the chicken shop girl there.
A
Yeah.
B
And I thought that was like extremely, like a low brow decision. Not that there's anything wrong with her, but like to have like an Internet show doing questions like, no, what's cool about this event is like, we have no idea what it is. Like, don't open the curtain and we.
A
Don'T know what they're saying. Like, don't speak yet.
B
Actually smile.
A
Yeah. I saw one interview from Chicken Chop and I didn't I was like, oh, no.
B
Who was it?
A
Not the vibe. Haley Bieber.
B
Oh, that's what I saw that too. I love to see him.
A
I mean, I love her, but, like, it wasn't about her. It was just like, this is not the format. Like, we're not joking. This is not a joke.
B
Also, just like, shh.
A
You know.
B
Hush, hush, little celeb. Just walk. I've had enough of these celebrities talking. Like, I've literally some of the most unintelligible people. What if you just.
A
I love that.
B
And it's such an important thing in life to know when to shush.
A
Yeah.
B
Speak. Don't speak.
A
Smile, Don't.
B
Don't smile.
A
I agree. We're in agreement.
B
Good. We're so agreeable.
A
Are you ready for our next story?
B
Is it Sabrina on snl?
A
No, it's not. Did you watch?
B
I did. I saw the clip clips.
A
I did see some clips because I follow her all of a sudden. My whole algorithm. Because she was collabing with every sketch I wound up watching.
B
Very generous with those collaborator posts.
A
I mean, I think she just loves snl and SNL loves her. She's the perfect person to do it.
B
They need her so bad.
A
Yeah, she really.
B
Like, her Disney Channel upbringing really shines through because you have to act, you have to sing, and you just have to, like.
A
And do, like, kind of, like slapstick comedy, which is what they do, which is so Disney. Yeah. And even the sketches that, like, weren't good. They weren't bad. Like, she's great.
B
Like, she can't. Nothing she does is bad. Her performances were super cute. Like, the first one was Man Child, which at this point, like, I'm kind of over the song, but she did it fresh. Like, I love the whole concept. She was in her undies, like, being, like, you know, slumber party, singing with her hair brush. So cute. The second one, I didn't fully understand the theme was karate.
A
Yeah. But you know what? When she in the song, like, there's a lot of, like.
B
Yeah, right. So cute. She's just. I just love her.
A
Yeah, she's just adorable. So just to circle it back to something from two months ago, Lear did not come out to perform. Life with a showgirl with her, which I really thought that she would. Oh. And the next three weeks of SNL were announced. No learn.
B
Right. Glenn Powell, Miles Teller, Nikki Glaser.
A
Yeah.
B
Somber.
A
Somber.
B
And who was the other two? I'll tell you, just class.
A
Nothing like that. Like, shook.
B
Nothing major, but it looked pretty good.
A
Yeah. Yeah. But not, like, nothing groundbreaking for none of our, like. Like, you know who posted it.
B
How do I find.
A
I think, like, if you go to BC SNL page. Like, they probably posted in feed before Breener.
B
Okay. Like, that's where I went first, and I truly can't find it. Brina. Brina.
A
I mean, Kelly posted it because she's, like, so supportive.
B
Brandy Carlisle. Oh, and Olivia Dean with Glenn Powell.
A
A ship. Well, I'm gonna be watching. Yeah. Miles Teller. Brandy Carlisle. Nikki Glazer. And somber Glenn Powell. Olivia Dean. That's. That's strong.
B
I'm happy for Nikki Glazer. I feel like that's, like, a huge thing for her.
A
Yeah. Really cool.
B
Here we go again. Crying in bed.
A
But I did see some of Breiner's monologue. I mean, does she. It's like, very.
B
Love that she wore.
A
It's very obvious call. But, like, she's so House Bunny. I love that when she was, like, you know, sexy.
B
Yeah. By the way, she's so Anna Faris.
A
She's so Anna Faris. I feel like when she does, like, that bit, like, I do feel like she's inspired by her in a totally healthy way.
B
Definitely watches, like, the House Bunny is definitely one of her favorite movies.
A
Yeah. No, she's so anniversary. I was like, I feel like I'm watching House Bunny.
B
That's an amazing.
A
Oh, I thought it was so obvious. I felt stupid saying it.
B
No. And do you think that Sabrina's inspired by everyone? All movies?
A
No.
B
Me neither. And it's clear. Yeah.
A
She's not the elk of such.
B
She is standard inspiration.

B
Welcome. For a better turtle, there's no such thing.
A
Our next story.
B
Oh, I wanted to update you on something. So in the journey for a good Instagram bio, I changed mine over the weekend. I don't know if you saw. Did you see? No. It says tenured professor at Gargie Parchee University, which I thought was like cute and fun.
A
I love that. But I did.
B
And then I put like, the little graduation cap.
A
Do you come up with that?
B
I did.
A
Oh, my God. At first.
B
At first I wrote student at Gargie Party University and somebody DM me love it, but it should be professor. So I was like, oh, duh. But then I. I thought it was funny to make it tenured professor. But I did think of a good one this morning.
A
Okay.
B
It's because I'm like, this is one of like my. I don't know if motto is the right word. And I couldn't remember who told me. I think it was tinks. And I'm like, tinks? Did you tell me this? And she said, yes. I'm like, is it okay if I make my Instagram bio and, like, steal it? Like, make my personality? And she said, yeah, because this is so me. Ready? Strong opinions, loosely held. Like, that's kind of the essence of who I am and what you're doing on the platform if you don't know me. And that's like the point of an Instagram bio. So while tenured professor at GPU was like, very funny. And inside Baseball, what do you think?
A
I think it's strong.
B
Better than gpu.
A
I mean, you know me, I'm always gonna.
B
Yeah, like, you're the CEO of Turning Lou Global. I'm a tenured professor. Like, it's funny.
A
It is really funny. But I do think in terms of like, like capturing new audiences, showing what you're about, what you do on the platform. Like, I think it's perfect. And I will. I'll leave it.
B
You will. Okay, so let me just see how it looks. You guys sound off in the comments. Which one do you like better? That I promise. Like, I'll leave you all alone. You don't have to help me with this stupid thing anymore. And like, what are we capitalizing? Is it like strong opinions, period? Loosely held, period.
A
Strong opinions, comma, loosely held period.
B
And then is there a period at the end if you want one?
A
No, it's not like a whole sentence. Is that.
B
Let me see, like, how it looks. I'm not loving it, but, like, I'll sit. I'll sit with it for a little bit.
A
Yeah. Okay. I'm happy for you. Great update. Great update.
B
Thanks.
A
Our fourth story, Kylie Jenner was supported by her famous family and friends as Kylie cosmetics celebrated its 10 year anniversary with a King Kylie party. A throwback to back in the day. More notably, Maddie Healy was in attendance.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
As were some other creators and celebrities but that was very interesting and I.
B
Just, I, I mean, it's weird, but Kylie's like in this circle now. Like this Charlie XCX 1975 circle. She's like working and close with Charlie. Charlie's husband is in the 1975. Kylie also was like partying with Gabriette at Coachella. Like they're friends. It's not weird. It's just like, what the hell is Matty Healy doing at this losery ass affair?
A
No, it's not weird, but it's just, it's making me sad. Not even that I need her to be Taylor. I never would have. She never would be. I would never.
B
She's not.
A
But like, I just don't like this team either.
B
Yeah, no, this is like, okay. I feel like I've come on the show, I've been like, so negative today. Like clowning on the Louvre, clowning on Selena. Like, I'm clowning on the celebrities, like, telling them to be quiet. And I'm sorry, I'm just going to like keep up with that theme today. Like, I'm hating everything Kylie's doing this week. Like, hate, hate it. She's so much better than this. I feel like she was just at this like, elevated level with her bouncy blowout and her like, cool, you know, boob job. Going to basketball games with Timothy Chalamet. Yeah. Like, they were going to New York basketball games. Like, I don't know what the hell she's doing. Like having this party that's like filled with tick tockers. Like, it's horrible. It's so tacky. Now she's doing Arthur George. Like, I get it, it's a throwback. But like, I'm hating it. I'm hating it. I, I think maybe it's me, maybe I think put Kylie on a pedestal. I think of her as like such a more elevated. She's like, even in her own family, like, she's always like, you shouldn't film the show. Like, she's so high brown. Like, this is what she's coming down to earth for. Like, I'm hating it.
A
I, as someone, I don't know if we're just so similar and we have this hold the same opinions but like, I couldn't be a bigger fan of hers and I want to support everything that she does. And the first time I hear anything she does, like, I'm going to be like, oh my God, that's the best idea. But as I've seen, you know, content matriculate from this, the matriculation has been triggering from this idea. It's hurting me.
B
Yeah. And are we haters or because everyone's, like, laughing it up like, yes, Kylie cosmetics. Like, no, Kylie cosmetics. What are you doing? And I feel like these are people. I'm a true Kylie fan. Like, I'm actually today wearing a brand new Kylie cosmetics skin tint. It is the best skin tin. Nobody talks about it. Like, I'm a consumer. I buy stuff. Like, I'm an actual fan. These people who are, like, living for King Kylie, they don't buy Kylie cosmetics.
A
Yeah. The whole thing really is such a mess.
B
And the girls, like, guys sound off in the comments. Are we being haters or just this suck, like, universally?
A
And, like, this is like, what we like. She's always, you know, withholding from us. She's so private and she doesn't need us anymore. And like, and we understand, like, go fly, like, with a billion dollars on Kylie air. And you come back to us for this. Like, no, no.
B
Like, nothing is giving to me. Like, even her in the wig. Like, no, I like your bouncy blowout. You look so sick these days. Like, don't go back, go forward.
A
Don't go back, go forward. And speaking of King Kylie era, another throwback related is that Blac Chyna is h that her and Rob are have a future. Perhaps Blac Chyna hinted at a possible future with her ex fiance, Rob Kardashian, whom she referred to as her person. After sparking reconciliation rumors last week, China was asked about the status of her relationship with Rob at the LA Women's Expo on Saturday. She explained that she wants to expand her brood. She's the mother of two. She admitted that she'd rather have more kids with Rob than with Tyga in a video.
B
That's funny. So I just want to say when I heard this, like, I'm kind of here for it exponentially. Like, I think that they're both, like, really broken people who might actually really be right for each other. Except the lawsuit. I don't know how she really moves on with his family after that. Even though, like, you know, he got with her at the worst of times. Like, I think that he doesn't really care. It's so complicated. And my initial reaction was like, yes, actually they share a kid together. They've both been on such journeys. They're both like, completely different people than they were. I could actually be here for it. I think that, like, it would be great for dream, but there is just like that small thing of that Big ass lawsuit so much. It was such a big, like. Like they get sued all the time, but they talked about it in the show. Like, it was actually really big and really bad. And it ended up working out fine for them. Like, they won, but it was really tough for them to go through. And I don't. I do think too much has happened with his family for them to really ever work, but I'm here for it.
A
I agree. They are very forgiving bunch, especially Chris. I could see, like, Chris moving forward. I could see some of the girls.
B
Especially for the sake of Rob's happiness, not wanting to.
A
But I think, like, two people can become the best versions of themselves. But, like, that doesn't mean that they should then be together. I don't think, like, what they had in the beginning was like, like, so strong. It was really, like, worth saving out of spite. And the last thing you would want is for that person to, like, remind you of how you used to be and maybe bring you back to that place. So, yeah, I don't see how this could work because it's not like it was a great love that they, like, you know, just were too toxic to enjoy.
B
Place, wrong time, right person.
A
Right. So I'm glad that they're both in a better place and. And I wouldn't be against it. I'm just saying I don't think it's like, like, well, finally Rob and China get their happy ending.
B
No, but it does kind of make sense because I've actually been seeing a lot of clips from Black China's social media where she's like, either on live or she's with Dream. And they're talking really positively about her, the time she spends with her dad's side of the family. And China's like, no, no, you could say it. You could say it because they were like, who's your favorite grandma? And, you know, Tokyo Tony is like, so nutty. And I don't think her and China talk anymore, ever since China, like, found Christ. And I think Lovey, who's Kris Kardashian, is like an amazing grandma. And I think that Dream spends more than half her time with the Kardashians, maybe not now so much that, like, China's healed, but she still has all her cousins.
A
Like, she's always, you know, at Chloe's house. And I think I don't know where Rob lives. And it's just like, that's just her life now.
B
I think Rob lives in Kylie's old house, right? Like the house that was on the show. Like that cute little black and white one. Not little, but you know what I mean.
A
Yeah. Maybe. Last we heard. And yet Arthur George for your King Kylie merch.
B
And I think Arthur George is now, like, owned entirely by Kris Jenner. I don't know. It's.
A
I just want to be putting one step in front of the other, one foot in front of the other, making steps to. Towards the future.
B
Yeah. I don't want to go back.
A
I don't want to go back. I'm not living in the past.
B
Nope. Like, I'm just not liking it. But maybe I'm just being, like, a hater. But I don't think that this is cool or good. I don't. I'm not inspired by this. You're not.
A
And it's okay to say you're not inspired by it.
B
I am not inspired by this.
A
No, I am.
B
By the way. I, like, that's, like, gonna be my new thing, like, when I hate something. But I don't want to be mean. I'll say, like, this isn't inspiring.
A
Though. I am so inspired by Kylie in general.
B
Yes. But this particular project is not inspirational.
A
This. Matriculation.
B
The uninspirational matriculation title. Yeah.
A
Of Kylie Nation and Haley Bieber. Well, she's. She's been inspiring.
B
I'm actually endlessly inspired by Haley Bieber.
A
Like, yeah, she's been inspired. She didn't do anything uninspiring.
B
I think she's actually the definition of like, of an inspiration. Like, you know, she's, like, extremely trendy. She's a tastemaker. That's, like, called being inspiring.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you for that vocab lesson.
B
You're welcome. Matriculation.
A
Are you ready for our fifth and final story? One of our favorite swirlies is in Vogue, sharing her battle with cancer. So content creator Bridget Ball started IVF and came away with a cancer diagnosis. Reports Vogue this morning.
B
So Bridget.
A
We always call her at Bridget. She does have a first and last name.
B
She is.
A
No, she's Bridget to me. She's at Bridget. I can't say it without the app.
B
Funny. She is a content creator. She's a designer. She owns the company. The bar. The bar sweatshirts that everybody wears. And she just is, like, a swirly. Who was, like, sharing her journey online when she was. She got married to that insane wedding. Remember she, like, closed down a street in Soho for her rehearsal dinner. And then she was sharing her journey through ivf and she had to stop in the middle of IVF because they found out she had breast cancer, like, through that journey.
A
Yeah. So now she sat down with Vogue. It was a really, like, beautiful piece on, just like, her.
B
I loved what she was wearing. Very Jackie O. Yeah.
A
She looks so parchy. And she's out. Out of radiation now, so just sort of like, updating on the last year or so and, like, what she has to look forward to. And it was just a very. A surprising, beautiful piece. And I know everyone, like, who follows Bridget or knows her is just, like, has so much love for her and everyone has been praying for her and, like, just to be at this point, it's just like, as a fan of her, is very exciting.
B
Yeah. I don't know if this is like, the new direction of Editor in Chief Chloe, what's her name, but, like, these are the types of stories Vogue needs to be. It's like Vogue is a women's magazine, right? We're supposed to be telling women and stories.
A
Fashion. Like, Bridget is all, like, she's a brand owner.
B
Like, yeah, this is exactly what Vogue publication should be publishing.
A
And, like, if you're on the Internet and you follow, like, you know, the influencers and the girls, this has been like, one of the biggest stories of the last year. Just, like, everyone praying for Bridget and, like, and being up. She's shared a lot of updates, like, in her health and also just in her life and her lifestyle and her, like, everything that she's been going through. So, like, we've all been along for a vibe. Like, this is what people have been talking about.
B
Not me knowing what cold capping is. Like, she's trying to preserve her hair while going through chemo.
A
Right.
B
Doing this thing called co capping. And it's working.
A
Like, this is what everyone's been talking about. So it's like, good when Vogue's talking about the things that, like, yeah, like, welcome.
B
We've been talking about this for a.
A
Year, but welcome are invested in.
B
Yeah, it was really beautiful. Like, a tribute for, like, this journey she's been through. I don't know exactly, like, what is next for her and her journey, but, like, finishing these 15 rounds was, like, a huge thing. I love her, love her and I love the journey. And honestly, words I never thought I'd say. Kudos, Vogue.
A
And she's really inspiring. She is inspiring a lot of women. I say that in earnest to get checked and to do something. Put her on the COVID Put her on the COVID.
B
No, I mean, if we're real, like, is this Chloe's influence?
A
I feel like it's a Good guess.
B
Yeah. Because, like, this is Vogue considers themselves, like, too high brow to, like, do Internet stuff, but, like, this is what women are talking about.
A
Yeah.
B
And this is supposed to be an issue, like a magazine that talks about women's issues. This is a huge issue.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
I love Bridget. Like, sir, wait. Sending love to Bridget, I think. Is this how they do it? Oh, wait.
A
Oh, wait, I don't think that's how they do it.
B
No, I'm pretty sure it is.
A
It's do.
B
I'm 100 sure.
A
Just go like that.
B
Yeah. They're over complicating, like, something so simple.
A
They are. Those are the fast five stories. You deaths needed to know them.
B
Deaths.
A
Do you want to talk about Love is blind?
B
Yeah. Okay. Because once again, I feel like I'm so unique in my takes and I don't really have anything to say about the rest of the show, except for Madison and Joe's breakup up. And it was so deeply uncomfortable because she's just, like, begging for clarity. And at a certain point, I do feel like you have a responsibility as a human being, like, just being a decent human in a relationship, like, not to tell the person exactly what you're thinking. Like, I don't think you need radical transparency in a breakup because it's clear what he was saying was not sufficient. It was definitely not. You know, it was confusing. Like him saying, I just don't think it's right. I don't think it's.
A
I shouldn't. Right.
B
And she's like, I just need more clarity. I just need more clarity. And he just keeps saying that. And I don't think it's because he doesn't have a reason. It's because the reason's probably gonna hurt her feelings. And so everybody, like, I don't know, am I in the minority where I'm like, kind of Team Joe? He's allowed to break up with someone and you're allowed to tell a little bit of a lie in a breakup if the truth is just mean. Right. Like, it's not like I cheated on you or whatever. Like, there's no reason because he's not that into it. Like. Like, how does he. How many times is it at different ways should he say that before you just get it?
A
Yeah. And it's not like he's giving you, like, mixed messages at this point. Like, he is up and Adam and leaving. And I agree.
B
He's crying on the floor and he's packing his bags. Like, it was painful.
A
He should be like, I don't like you. You. And that would be better. No, no.
B
It was just so frustrating. Like, and I guess he's the villain. Not in my eyes. Like, like the. And she's like. And you let me try on wedding dresses. What? You want him to let you go to the altar? Like, that's what this process is for.
A
Yeah. And. And if he broke up with her before that, it's like you. You got down on one knee. You should. Right.
B
You.
A
You met my. You met my family and then you break up. Like there's no good time to end an engagement.
B
Yeah. And you're just not gonna catch me like being on Madison's side. I'm sorry, I don't know if that makes me the bad guy here. You're not. Like, he did the right thing. He saw it through.
A
And it's not that I'm on joke side. I don't think Joe is like an amazing guy. I think that he's a little too shallow and surface level for a show such as this. Really couldn't handle like what it means if love were to be blind.
B
Right. No, he's so not the elk of a blind.
A
Now it's two weddings he's called off. That's not like a commitment. That's not your man.
B
Right.
A
However, the more she speaks and cries and like whines, the better he looks.
B
Yeah. Because like, this is gonna be really mean. But she was giving like whiny little like he people. And this happens a lot with.
A
Especially when it was like, we've all been here this whole time. This isn't a shock. Like, this is actually at last, not at once. And you are not surprised. You literally were accusing him to the night you got home of like not liking you enough. So like now he's like telling you like, hey, I don't like you enough up. And it's like, it's like Annie and Joe. Yeah. And it's like, well one, you've made this a self fulfilling prophecy. But not to say it's your fault because we can all see they didn't actually. Nick liked Annie enough.
B
Yes, yes.
A
She ruined that completely by herself. But we could all see that Jo, like wasn't all the way in to Madison. No.
B
And the thing is with the show that I often like have like a difference in opinion with the discourse is that somebody becomes a villain when they break up with someone. And I'm sorry, you are allowed to break up with a partner. You are like, that doesn't make you a bad person.
A
I haven't been looking At a lot of the discourse. But I am pleased to see that, like, people are not, like, turning against Nick. And I think people actually appreciated his breakup with Annie and that, like, she.
B
Was that his name, Nick? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like, so Jonah's brothers coded. I'm so confused. Trying.
A
I feel like people, like. Like could see that for what it was. And I was shocked. I thought for sure, like, she had, you know, got the victim.
B
Victim complex. Yeah.
A
Yeah, she trashed that.
B
Yeah. No, she was insufferable.
A
I just, like, what are you saying about John Madison?
B
It's just like, he was the worst. He was the worst. Like, yeah, she's a little annoying, but he was the worst. It's like, well, no, no, go back. Rewind. She refuses to see that. Like, the guy in front of her is like, so not the guy. Like, let it go. Let the mouse go.
A
Yeah. And at that point, it's like, would you even say yes to this person? Like, and if you did, you're the problem. I'm judging you a hundred percent. I remember that night in the honeymoons when. Remember how the women are still together after that?
B
Her waking him up, being like, you're scaring me, Joe. She makes it. You're scared. And it's like, you're scaring him because he's literally half asleep. He's a zombie. Like, that's on you, babe. That's on you, Joe. You're really scaring me. You're asking me the same four questions. Yeah, he's blackout. You just woke him up. You just woke a sleeping dog. Like, of course that's scary.
A
One of my core tenants in life is like, you never wake up sleeping person. Of course. So for me.
B
Except that's so funny because I was on the phone with Jackie yesterday, you guys, and I was like, sorry, I gotta go. I gotta wake Ruby up. And Jackie was like, what?
A
I was flabbergasted. She wakes up Ruby from his naps because, like, he naps so good and he's good.
B
But I wake up Ruby in the morning, too. Like, not, you know, I need to stop bragging because.
A
No, you seriously need to. Actually, you know what? It's good. You should share these anecdotes of, like, of good sleep. That it could happen to you. It can. That it could happen to someone out there. And it's not all just like, you'll never sleep again. No.
B
But I also want to say, like, this happened to me, but I also think I did some things. Like, I worked really hard at Breastfeeding for being like getting him to be fat as, like getting him to like be above that birth weight. I did the sleep training. Like, that was a little bit hard. I let him cry a little bit, you know. Yeah. Oh yeah, I let him cry. Not a lot, you guys. In like a couple of minutes. It was really hard.
A
I do think, like as much as I don't rub it in my face, like, I do think you should share that with the audience because I think that's like a really reassuring for people to hear that, like you might have to wake up your child in the morning and they're not going to wake you up and be your alarm every day.
B
No, there was like that good three and a half months though, where it was like.
A
It was that when he was born.
B
Yeah, yeah, when he was born. But three and a half months of his first days on Earth of his life.
A
Where he was a baby.
B
Like. No, I'm saying it's not like, you know, he was born and we slept. No, it's like that newborn thing.
A
Yeah. But honestly, like, doing the wake ups with a newborn is easier than doing it with a four or five month old. When you're like, I thought I saw.
B
Someone on Tick Tock say that like having a six month old who sleeps through the night and a six month old who doesn't sleep through the night are two completely different versions of parenthood.
A
Yeah.
B
Of postpartum too. I think some people still feel like they're really in the thick of postpartum when they aren't getting a restful night. Now Ruby likes to wake up at five in the morning and cry a little bit. It's not the biggest deal.
A
Like he's.
B
He sleeps through the night. Like. Yeah. No Completely different versions of life.
A
Yeah. So just a little positivity after a negative episode.
B
Yeah. But not gonna lie, felt like one of our funniest.
A
Yeah. It needed to be said.
B
Kind of the theme of things that needed to be said.
A
Yeah.
B
That's a good title.
A
We have a lot of good titles.
B
I know. And like, like with titles, it's like sometimes we just quote something random and funny that we said, like the matriculation and speculation or whatever. But I like it better when the title is like a theme of the episode. And the theme of today's episode is things we needed to say.
A
Okay. It sounds like a Lucy score book.
B
Things in which the light should say.
A
Things that were left to be said.
B
Like things that were left unsaid. Colon nothing.
A
We'll workshop it.
