If you want to be a champion, you can't leave no stone unturned. You got to have all energy systems trained to the best ability. Chasing peak performance and longevity go hand in hand. And if you treat the body the way that it was intended to be treated, and you recover the right way, you eat the right foods, you supplement the right way, your performance is so much better.
B (0:16)
Well, you suffered through a lot of injuries during your career. I mean, I know that you fought with two blown out shoulders.
A (0:21)
Yeah, I mean, just wear and tear from wrestling since I was 8 year old, through college and then more so as being a professional.
B (0:26)
You were doing stem cells early on in your career to try to preserve as much of that time as you.
A (0:32)
I do all my research trying to figure out like, wait, what are like the Kobe Bryant doing in the world to preserve themselves or whatever it may be to keep me in the game without having to get surgery.
B (0:41)
So you get the stem cells, you come back, you win another championship.
A (0:44)
Yeah, I win the world title back. Wow.
B (0:46)
Now that you're more woke to longevity and wellness, you've got this brand out there which I'm sure you're pouring your soul into. What made you say this is the next career path for me?
A (0:55)
Something I've noticed from just training, in my experience, is that.

Foreign? Hey guys, welcome back to the Ultimate Human podcast. I'm your host, human biologist Gary Brecker, where we go down the road of everything. Anti aging, biohacking, longevity, and everything in between. And today's guest is no stranger to biohacking. Now he's into longevity. It's the everything in between that we're going to talk about today. And you know, I've got two time UFC bantamweight world champion, TJ Dillashaw. Dude, I am so pumped that you are on the Ultimate Human podcast, brother.
A (1:39)
I am beyond pump. This is exciting. I'm a fan of the podcast, I'm a fan of what you stand for and the whole Maha movement. So I'm, I'm, I'm ecstatic to be here.
B (1:46)
Thanks man. I really appreciate that. You know, I, I think that your journey is like so many professional athletes, journeys and so many a listers, celebrities, actors, people that have been had careers where they were very much in the public eye, you know, work themselves to greatness and then one day it just ends. Right?
