Foreign. It's been a while, and I've missed this space. For those of you who've been on this journey with me through the uncensored empath, I want to say thank you. You are a part of something really, really special to me, and I've continued to feel all the love and connection that we've built right here on this show. It's been a while since I retired the show, but today I am back to give you a heartfelt update on where I've been and what's next. Many of you know me as someone who speaks from the heart and dives deep into the raw, the unfiltered, the uncensored emotions that we as empaths feel on a daily basis. And what's been most present for me lately, what's really transformed the way I see the world is. Is grief. Grief has so many layers, and for empaths, it's not just about feeling our own pain, but also the collective sadness, loss, and sometimes suffering of those around us as well. We feel it in our bones, and sometimes it can be overwhelming. But here's what I've learned in my journey. Grief, just like the sensitivities that we carry as empaths, is a form of love. I believe that grief is love turned inside out. And I've in a season of my life where grief has shown up in deep, moving, complex ways, through another miscarriage, through mold, illness, through personal loss, the complexities of motherhood, moving back across the country, and in these deeper realizations of how we navigate transitions in life. It has been showing up so big, and it's led me to a new calling, a new podcast called Mother Grief. Now, before you think this is just for mothers, let me tell you, this podcast is for all grievers in some way. It's for those of you who carry the invisible weight of grief, even when you don't have the words to describe it. It's for the empaths who feel the grief of others as deeply as their own. Whether it's the loss of a pregnancy, a relationship, a version of ourselves, or even the dreams we once held dear, grief touches us all, and in ways that are often unspoken. As empaths, we often shy away from grief because it feels big, it feels intense. But what if we allowed ourselves to lean into it? What if we saw grief as a sacred teacher, a part of our journey that shapes us into who we are meant to be? And that's what I want to explore in Mother Grief, the intersection of love, loss, and the transformation that comes from truly feeling. So I'll be sharing stories of my own life, the lessons I've learned from grief, and conversation with others who have navigated these deep waters. My first episode dropped on October 15, 2024. That's yesterday when I'm recording this. And that also is the International Day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance. It's a day that carries so much significance for so many. If you felt connected to the content we explore here on the Uncensored Empath, I think you'll find Mother Grief resonates on a deep, soulful level. This new space will be an extension of what we've always done here, holding space for big emotions, for empathy and for healing. So I invite you to come along with me on this new journey. You can subscribe to Mother Grief on any and all platforms and I'll have all the links in the show notes for you below. Thank you for being a part of this community, for trusting me with your hearts, and for continuing to walk this path with me. I'd love your support and your feedback on the new show. I'm so excited for what's ahead. I can't wait to share this new chapter with you. With so much love. This is Sarah St. John signing off from the Uncensored Empath and inviting you into Mother Grief.
