The secrets of Khabash Foundling are revealed, and Aribhin is forced to side with one of two gods: Iomedae, the holy and righteous goddess of justice, and Asmodeus, the Prince of Darkness.

Aribhin Foundling, his sister Gillia, and their celestial companion Rzundar clash with devils guarding a mysterious sanctum. Within lies Khabash, Aribhin's eldest brother.

Aribhin Foundling gets to know Rzundar, an aesra and celestial servitor of the goddess Iomadae, as they follow Khabash's trail. Before long, they reach the dead and haunted city of Mistvale, destroyed over 200 years ago by dark, powerful magic. And somewhere beneath this city is Aribhin's eldest brother.

Aribhin and Gillia Foundling pursue a strange, flame-headed creature as it seeks Khabash, their eldest brother.

After coming face-to-face with his god parent, Aribhin Foundling confronts his adoptive parents for their cherry-picked education.

For years, Aribhin Foundling has been haunted by the sporadic appearance of a shimmering black door, which he suspects is sent by the unknown god that influenced his birth. He is desperate to know the god's identity and what his purpose is. During a family meal, the door appears once again. This time, he reaches it.

Body carrots, sloppy make-outs, and stinky creatures run amuck during the Foundlings' lake day outing as they celebrate Saforos, the Day of the Seas.

Frustrated at the lack of leads and the lack of transparency from Sunwalker Enterprise, Aribhin Foundling returns to his home city — the sprawling metropolis of Crossroad — to see his adoptive, godborn siblings for the first time in years.

In the conclusion to The Wizard's prologue, Aribhin Foundling meets with the Underlord and her Marble Mage to speak with the dead and receives a message from home.

Aribhin Foundling follows the trail of the missing hobgoblin scholar Lemo Tork, leading him to barter with powerful figures and delve into the Dark.
