There’s been a bit of a change in WWE recently– the matches on RAW have been longer and of noticeably higher quality. The cards for the upcoming PLEs (more on that later) are particularly stacked. Dare we say that TKO has released its vice grip on the booking team after WrestleMania failed to live up to standards? We can only guess? In fact, the only thing that’s dampening the optimism is the fact that Brock Lesnar made is short-awaited debut to continue his program with Oba Femi. The Main Event Aside from the wrestling ring and every item that's involved in a match being converted into a sponsorship, the surest sign of WWE's big business era is their PLE strategy. This is the latest evolution in their monthly shows that used to be known as PPVs. So let's start with a look back. The Three Count Danielle put over Effy's new merch! He’ll earn tons of praise before more love is piled onto Oba Femi, Jacob Fatu, The Street Profits and so many more. But all of this good wrestling cannot overshadow the recent cull of the company’s talent, including several notable names like Kairi Sane and Zelina Vega. Big E's status as a part of the PLE preshow seems to still be secure as he enjoys retirement. But the New Day as we know it is no more.
