And Olive Whoville still thinks he's the culprit. So we need a new lead. What's that, Max? You have a theory? Follow the Whoville firefighters around town and just kind of see what they're up to. Max, be honest. You just want to stop by all the fire hydrants, don't you? Stay focused. Here's what I think we should do. We need to go backwards and talk to two people we overlooked those slippery Houdini twins. Exactly, Max. I don't trust them either. First they blame Mr. Grinch, and then they blame the mailman. They can't keep their stories straight, and they're known pranksters. And what bigger prank could they pull than stealing all the letters to Santa and framing Mr. Grinch for the crime? After our last episode, I got a bunch of anonymous tips from listeners all around Whoville. Max, play the tape.
