Pearl
Oh, no. We help people customize and save on car insurance with Liberty Mutual together. We're married. Me to a human, him to a bird.
Mrs. P
Yeah, the bird looks out of your league.
Pearl
Anyways, only pay for what you need@libertymutual.com Liberty. Liberty.
Mrs. P

Pearl
Liberty.

Stop. Stop what you're doing and buckle up, because this week, we're gonna connect so many things together. Po ponytail, pretty summer house, seltzers, streetwear, merch, a Bible app, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and so much more are all tied together inside the research of one lady about another lady. But get ready, because you're about to get tabbed. How many tabs?
Mrs. P
Too many tabs.
Pearl
Remember to smile. Welcome to Too Many Tabs, a podcast where a husband and wife duo sit next to each other and at a table. And what an episode we have today, Mrs. P. Yeah.
Mrs. P
Are you excited?
Pearl
I'm very excited. You. You hinted at me. You showed me, and you told me what we're talking about this week.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Erica Kirk.
Pearl
Yeah. Yeah.
Mrs. P
You said, no. No. That's gonna be contentious, and that's gonna spark outrage. And I said, no, no, no, no. I want to talk about it from the perspective of. Of Erica Kirk, reality TV show star.
Pearl
Yeah. And that as you started trying to explain some of this toward. Towards me, I. I was like, you
Mrs. P
zoned out, and that's how I know I'm on to something. You zoned out, and I said, this is gonna be a good girly pop episode.
Pearl
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And because here's the thing. This is what I know about Erica.
Mrs. P
Okay, tell me.
Pearl
I know that Drew Ski made her real mad. Maybe. We don't know. We just talked about it honestly, this week. Actually, I talked about Erica Kirk on this week's episode of Crashing Out. Yeah, because we talked about The Drew Ski video, making fun of Erica Kirk's reactions and how the world's been reacting to Erica Kirk in general.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah, I'll get to that later.
Pearl
No, I understand that. I'm just saying that this is where that weird kismet's coming, because rarely there's a crashing out and a too many tabs kind of meet in this moment. And it's kind of wild how that kind of came together.
Mrs. P
You know, here's what happened. She's top of mind. People are talking about it because of the Drew Ski video.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And I said, oh, I don't know a lot about her except for that she likes a light show. And I've watched enough wrestling that I'm like, who doesn't like a light show? Really?
Pearl
Yeah. She does have Goldberg entrances.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
She does have a Batista entrance.
Mrs. P
And so I was like, let me learn a little bit more about who this woman is. And the thing is, I found out a lot, and I'm very excited to tell you all about it because it's going to make you so upset.
Pearl
Oh, yeah, yeah. That's how you like. That's how you book this show.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
How do I upset my husband for fun?
Mrs. P
One hour. What can I tell him that's going to upset him? And then you being grumpy and upset makes the rest of us, all the listeners and viewers, giggle.
Pearl
Yeah. And the other part of it, too, is because the camera's on, I can't leave.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Yeah. And. And then Mr. Third just edits it down. Yeah, There we go.
Mrs. P
He adds pictures.
Pearl
He does. He had so many pictures.
Mrs. P
And there's going to be pictures and
Pearl
so many fun little jokes. All right, so with that Mrs. Pig.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Where do you want to begin?
Mrs. P
Okay, let's start the very beginning. Her maiden name, as they say. Erica Lane. Franz vay.
Pearl
Franz Bay.
Mrs. P
Yeah. It's spelled F R A, N T, Z, V E. But I looked it up. I watched a lot of videos. And how she pronounces it is Franz vay.
Pearl
Franz vay.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Because when I look at it, it looks almost like it should be like France Z. Yeah.
Mrs. P
Something like that. Yeah.
Pearl
Because there's a T in there.
Mrs. P
Listen, she's Swedish or something. I don't know.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
She's born November 20, 1988.
Pearl
Allegedly Scorpio. A Scorpio.
Mrs. P
A Scorpio.
Pearl
A Scorpio.
Mrs. P
That's gonna explain a lot.
Pearl
I'm just gonna say this.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
I. We've talked about this before.
Mrs. P
Sure.
Pearl
Where I've said in the Past. I don't really believe in horoscopes and things.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
But.
Mrs. P
All right.
Pearl
I dated a Scorpio, so this woman's evil.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Okay.
Pearl
I just wanted to throw that out there right now. I know the stars have aligned. She's evil. There's a thing about Scorpios. I don't know what it is.
Mrs. P
We have Scorpio listeners. They're wonderful people. People?
Pearl
I doubt it.
Mrs. P
I like having them on my side. You need to keep the Scorpios on side. You don't want them as enemies.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
I always get along well with Scorpios. My phone is full of Scorpios.
Pearl
Okay, that's.
Mrs. P
But I'm an Aquarius.
Pearl
Yeah. And I'm a.
Mrs. P
You're a Taurus.
Pearl
Yeah. Okay, well, don't give them too much of the star chart, or else they'll start plotting. There's a thing that they can do. Right. With the stars if they know too much.
Mrs. P
Yeah. If they know too much.
Pearl
That's all I know.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Well, look what Candace has done.
Mrs. P
Anyway, listen, stop jumping ahead. We are at the very beginning. She's just been born. It's 1988. When she's younger than us.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
I look better. Anyway, she's born in Ohio, and then her parents get divorced, so they. Her mom moves her to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Pearl
Wait, hold on.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
So she's born in Ohio, parents get divorced.
Ad Voice 1
Yes.
Pearl
So she moves with her single mom who works two jobs. No, no.
Mrs. P
It's not that type of childhood.
Pearl
It's not Ariba childhood.
Mrs. P
No, no, no, no. She's got a single mom. I think her dad's in her life. They're both very well employed. They're both very well off. Mom's like a CEO, executive at GE and starts her own, like, data security company or something.
Pearl
General Electric.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Okay. Got it. So this is more of like a Taylor Swift kitchen table.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Where it was just. We lived on a Christmas tree farm.
Mrs. P
And you're like, okay, I see those houses.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
She's raised Catholic.
Pearl
She's raised Catholic.
Mrs. P
Catholic.
Pearl
She doesn't give off Catholic.
Mrs. P
She doesn't. And we'll get into that.
Pearl
Okay. Yeah. Because she gives off. She gives off, like, the. Very much mega church.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So she's raised Catholic as. She even went to Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is a very expensive high school. Like, so. Again, this isn't. Oh, I went to a Catholic school. This is. I went to the best Catholic school.
Pearl
Got it, got it, got it.
Mrs. P
30k a year and a little bit.
Pearl
I know from, like, her and, like, how she sells herself now. This feels the opposite of that.
Mrs. P
That.
Pearl
Because a lot of these people, especially on, like, the Christian right, they love to be like, I came from nothing, small town. Oh, my God. We used to just, you know, kick cans.
Mrs. P
Yeah, she does say a lot. And I watched so many interviews for this episode. I need you to know. I know too much.
Pearl
I'm sorry.
Mrs. P
I'm sorry so much. I opened so many times.
Pearl
No, look directly into the camera as you say it. You have to look deep into the camera.
Mrs. P
I looked at a lot of media and content that zoom in close on her face. That broke me as a person because I knew that I could use that information to break you as a person. Person.
Pearl
That's okay. I don't like that. Yeah, I don't like that.
Mrs. P
I hope I'm still zoomed in. Okay, so listen, when she was in high school, she played a lot of what, basketball and volleyball. Okay. Those are bully sports. Those are sports for throwing bows.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
Those are. Those are. Yeah. Bullies would play basketball and volleyball.
Mrs. P
Tall girls that want to throw a bow at you.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Is she tall?
Pearl
I think she doesn't feature.
Mrs. P
No.
Pearl
You know what?
Mrs. P
She doesn't give tall. But her husband, he's tall.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
I don't know. I. The pictures.
Pearl
I've seen every picture I've seen her. She doesn't.
Mrs. P
She looks short.
Pearl
She looks small.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And I don't know if that is optical illusion.
Mrs. P
I didn't look it up because I don't take height into account.
Pearl
Anyway, I'm not going to accuse her of anything based on her sports because she didn't play rugby. But if we dropped that one in there, I would have been like, girl, you checking off all the boxes.
Mrs. P
Okay, so in 2006, I'm feeling like she's like a senior in high school. Ish.
Pearl
Yeah. Because I would put her about 18.
Mrs. P
Yeah. She establishes her first 501C3. Her first nonprofit.
Pearl
At 18.
Mrs. P
At 18. And it's called Everyday Heroes like you.
Pearl
Okay, give me a bad name. Yeah. Everyday Heroes like you. Every. Eh. Everyday Heroes, like, it doesn't even have a good acronym.
Mrs. P
It's a bad name. It's a bad name.
Pearl
Elu.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Everyday Heroes like you is an organization that she describes as, quote, a way to promote and highlight everyday heroes in our communities who have philanthropic. Who have a philanthropic desire to truly make a difference in the lives of others.
Pearl
Oh, my God. Okay.
Mrs. P
You gotta be at a better stop.
Pearl
But but also, there's a Sesame street song about who are the heroes in your neighborhood? And, like, they're talking about, like, firefighters and doctors and even the mailman. And actually, we were watching when sitting with Pearl Babia and watching Sesame street clips on YouTube, we got hit by so many that were from 2020 and during lockdown. And they really use that who are the heroes in your neighborhood thing to really, like, focus on, like, the essential workers. Like, just working at a grocery store during COVID like, made you a hero because you're risk. You're on the front lines, you're risking yourself, the nurses, all these different people. And she's like, the people are doing philanthropy.
Mrs. P
And no, no. People who have a philanthropic desire. You don't even have to be doing it. You have a desire.
Pearl
Okay. Can I tell you how mad this makes me? Because on Monday of this week, I went to Fill Abundance.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Which is a massive food pantry food assistance logistics network that's based in Philadelphia that serves the entire Delaware Valley, including helps over 200 or 300 other food pantries throughout our area, and is part of the Feeding America network, like, all across the country. And, like, talking to us about, like, how to help people and the way they are not, like, they do a lot of good work. They're known in the community, but they're not out here. Like, how can I be, like, highlighted as someone who has philanthropic desire?
Mrs. P
There's no time.
Pearl
They're doing the work.
Mrs. P
People have full abundance. Are so fucking busy.
Pearl
They're running 20.
Mrs. P
Feeding the families of our area.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Like, the food insecurity in Philadelphia is crazy. Is it one in three?
Pearl
No, it's a one in six. Kids across America are food insecure.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
But in Philadelphia, one in three.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
And so that's just the kids. We're not talking about seniors. We're not talking about anybody else. And so this was like this really. So hearing that, she was like, I'm in a 501, scene three. And we're. Anyone with philanthropic desires, we're going to highlight. I'm like, you are doing nothing.
Mrs. P
She highlighted one program called the Romanian Angels Project.
Pearl
Wait, I think I've heard something about this. What? When I was on Tik Tok and they hit you with the doom, doom, doom conspiracy music. Okay, what? Okay, I know what. I think I know what Candace has said about this. What have you found about Romanian Angels?
Mrs. P
The Romanian Angels is a program that worked with the United States Marine Corps to help and sponsor an orphanage in Romania.
Pearl
What do we not have American Orphans.
Mrs. P
I. We got plenty.
Pearl
We do. We just. That feels crazy.
Mrs. P
Also, the name Romanian Angels is bad because it makes me. Me think that the orphan passed away.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
This is a lot of bad names.
Pearl
You go that way. I think Eastern European. And when I hear, like, angels, you're
Mrs. P
like Victoria's Secret angels.
Pearl
Yeah, but also just like, a lot
Mrs. P
of those are very Easter European.
Pearl
I know, I know. But I also think of. I'm. Listen, I don't want you to pull out the spray bottle. We'll leave it there.
Mrs. P
So here's the thing. I know what you're talking about. I tried to look into it. Okay, here's the thing. I've seen the same TikToks and Instagram Reels about how Erica Kirk allegedly is part of a human trafficking Romanian ring with orphans. Blah, blah, blah, blah. All the research I tried to do on it is immediately a pipeline. Because once you start looking into human trafficking stuff, it gets crazy.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
It gets qan. And immediately it's hard to find any things about it. Everything I found that people were saying about how Erica Kirk was involved, she would have had to been 12. Like, the timelines don't add up. Right. I think it's debunked. I think it's just conspiracy theory. Like, there is human trafficking in Romania. I think just because she was a part of it. She was not. I'm not saying she's part of it. Just because she was working with a program that was in Romania. They're trying to say it, but I couldn't see any proof. And also, every time I tried to look for it, it gets so bananas on the Internet that it's a waste of my time.
Pearl
Yeah. Because it becomes very Candace focused.
Mrs. P
Yes. White woman talking in their cars about how they're going to Kidn target.
Pearl
Someone put cheese on my windshield. Someone put cheese on my windshield.
Mrs. P
Yeah. And this is what you have to park job. So I threw a slice of cheese at your windshield. It's different.
Pearl
It's a Philadelphia thing.
Mrs. P
So she plays we cheese you. She plays basketball.
Pearl
Wait, hold on, hold on. Just before we blow it, but past this a little bit.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I just am stuck on the marines part.
Mrs. P
Yeah. We'll get this picture I found.
Pearl
Oh, God. All right. Yeah. See, this is what I'm talking about. Like, this is weird. It is weird.
Mrs. P
No, it's weird.
Pearl
We'll say that. That the Romanian angel thing is weird.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But also with the Romanian angels thing. Here's my question. It's like, hurt. This is. This was tied to this Other non profit.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Where she was highlighting.
Mrs. P
Was highlighting.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And then she was invited to go there and get. Highlight the work they were doing.
Pearl
Yeah. So she's doing it the same way she was doing, like, the Angelina Jolie UNICEF type of thing where, like, I'm going Jolie.
Mrs. P
It brings more eyes on the situations.
Pearl
Yeah, I know, but I'm just saying, it's like this is. This is this entire thing in that sort of way.
Mrs. P
It's the same ide.
Pearl
This. Got it.
Mrs. P
Okay, so back to college age stuff.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
She's playing basketball.
Pearl
Like I said, she's playing basketball.
Mrs. P
Goes to Regis University in Colorado.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
I think on a basketball or scholarship. I think basketball is, like the. The thing she's doing.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Right. And so I'm looking into this. She plays a few games in the 2007-2008 season as reserve.
Pearl
As reserve.
Mrs. P
She's a bench Becky, babe. Oh, bench Becky.
Pearl
Okay, so she's a basketball player, but she's more of a basketball sitter.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah.
Pearl
Got it, got it, got it, got it, got it.
Mrs. P
So she decides to leave Colorado, and she completes her undergraduate studies at Arizona State University with a double major in political science and internal relations. Why are you laughing?
Pearl
Because. Okay, so she leaves Regis University, which is like a private Catholic college.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
And she goes to one of the most notorious party schools in America.
Mrs. P
Oh, it's a party school.
Pearl
Yeah. ASU is like a massive party, and especially at that time.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
So this is, like, right around, I'd say, like, the height of, like, the Girls Gone Wild. Remember that stuff?
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
So, But a lot of those were filmed at places like asu, because you would go there, you would get these massive parties, like, those type of things. And like, ASU is famously, famously, famously been a place where, like, if you, you know, like, anyone who, like, marries their sweetheart from asu, people are like, that's doomed. Oh. Because it's just like, you just hammered the entire time. Like, getting an ASU university, like, like, degree is virtually meaningless in, like, that sort of way. Even though it's a state school, like, it's just viewed.
Mrs. P
Is there one of those parties? There's a party school like that in Delaware, right?
Pearl
I don't know about Delaware.
Mrs. P
Delaware or Maryland.
Pearl
You think of East Carolina?
Mrs. P
No, one of my girlfriends went to a party school.
Pearl
Oh, there' so many party schools around.
Mrs. P
She got, like, a degree in, like, restaurant management, but it was, like, with a minor in cruise studies. And she was like, explains me. And I was like, babe, you do not need to Go to college for that. No, I was like, you want a restaurant management job, you just go get a job at a restaurant, stay there for two years, Boom, you're the manager.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And if you want to study cruises, you just go apply for a job. They'll take anybody they'll take. And it's incredible.
Pearl
Yeah. Their background checks are.
Mrs. P
And then she was like, she was like, well, no, but like, it's a really great place to like network and meet people. I was like, you don't need to network in the restaurant.
Pearl
That's the thing. Meeting, networking at asu.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That's one of the big things with colleges. And I don't think people understand this. A lot of people don't understand what the need for the degree is.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
The piece of paper says one thing. You're certified to do these things for certain things. Right. But the rest of it is going to be the networking that you're going to be able to get to launch yourself further in the life for like these networking nodes.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
So if you go to like a big Ivy League, like let's say Harvard or Yale.
Mrs. P
Right.
Pearl
And you're one of the lucky ones who can get out of lower middle class or lower class situation, you can get to Harvard.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
What that gets you is into a network of your rich roommate's dad.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
There's a possibility that you can go back for spring break to your rich roommate's dad's house and meet him. And then someday when you have a resume, you can reach out to your buddy who can then, you know, like, yeah, I my friends with like Dr. Johnson from Johnson and Johnson.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Oh, okay. Well then they can get you an internship that can get you a little bit deeper in there.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Versus if you're going to asu, it's like, oh, who do you know? Well, I know this guy who can do a fucking. Listen. A Jaeger luge.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
He knows how to make a Jaeger luge in the desert.
Mrs. P
Well, that guy sounds pretty cool. I have engineering.
Pearl
I have a minor in gravity bongs. Like, this is like where like. And like. And this is coming from somebody who has like shit degrees and we have associate's degrees. Like all these different things. Like, there's a difference of like what the college springboard of what that gives you. And I'm not saying don't go, but this is just a thing to keep in mind of when you're processing of like what you're looking for is there is the technical knowledge that you can get, you can get at most of the colleges.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That isn't the thing, people. It's really going to be the networking on how you can when you're moving forward in life. Because are you going to stay around? Are you in a sorority or a fraternity?
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Are you in professional organizations there? Who do you get to know? Who do you hang out with? Who do they know? And then that. That six degrees of Kevin Bacon.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
For later in life to try to find the job that's not going to be replaced by AI, which is why you need to go into H vac.
Mrs. P
Exactly. Or plumbing. So let's take a break.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And when we come back, I want to talk about pageants.
Pearl
People talk a lot about protecting kids in the real world, but online, they've done a pretty questionable job because the Internet doesn't wait until your kid is old enough to understand privacy. It starts collecting early, sometimes really early. That's why we partnered with today's sponsor, ProtonMail. A child's digital footprint can begin before they're even born. And after that, it just keeps expanding. Family apps, school portals, email accounts, phone, social media. Little by little, a full online identity gets built for our kids. Before our kids ever get to choose what that even looks like, think about your own email account, the one that you made in your early teens because you needed it for a random thing. A small login over here, but slowly that email became your entire digital life. Now it's full of spam ads, tracking, and enough junk to qualify as digital archaeology. The bigger issue is that most email services were never designed with your privacy in mind. They're built to scan, track, and monetize your data over time. That's where ProtonMail is different. It's designed around privacy first, with end to end encryption. No ads, no tracking, and no profiling. You can sign up for free and start using an inbox that actually belongs to you and not advertisers. Using my link right now. Proton me Pearlmania 500. I'm going to say it to you again. Proton me Pearlmania 500. And if you can't remember that email, check the link in the show notes because it's proton me Pearlmania 500. Protect your information today. All right, Mrs. P. I'm ready for you to boom me about beauty pageants and Erica Kirk. Before I say that, yes, I just want to point out these beautiful shirts that we have on right now.
Mrs. P
You want to talk about beauty and grace.
Pearl
I know that's right.
Mrs. P
We have new merch. New merch going live today as this episode Goes live. It says on the back, sow the seeds of victory. And it's got little happy vegetables with their little gardening tools. And on the front is our little gardening bunny. He's a little soldier of the soil. I took everybody's feedback from our recent episode about gardening and our favorite propaganda slogans.
Pearl
Yep.
Mrs. P
And I worked with a graphic designer, and I said, let's make cutesy gardening T shirts.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And I mean, mugs and totes.
Pearl
Yep.
Mrs. P
And guess what I did this time. This time?
Pearl
What'd you do this time?
Mrs. P
Garden flags. That's right.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
I went big. I went big. I got really excited.
Pearl
Yeah. You made gardening flags for your garden merch.
Mrs. P
Yeah. So it was two different garden flags. One is the bunny rabbit who says, soldier the soil.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And then the other garden flag is the vegetables in the back.
Pearl
Yeah. No, I think it's great. And we'll throw up some more images of them, too. There's so many different options that you've put together when.
Mrs. P
Cuckoo bananas.
Pearl
You did.
Mrs. P
This is our biggest launch ever.
Pearl
This is our biggest launch. And you can get everything through Bonfire and links down below. Now, enough about us.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Let's talk about the demon known as Erica Franzi.
Mrs. P
Franz. Okay. Erica. I'm just gonna call her Erica.
Pearl
Yeah, let's just call her.
Mrs. P
She participated in Miss Arizona 2012, and she won.
Pearl
Really?
Mrs. P
On her birthday.
Pearl
Oh.
Mrs. P
She was 23 years old.
Pearl
Oh. Or as Donald Trump would describe it, old.
Mrs. P
Yep. And so when. Here's what's happened. She does Miss Arizona, she wins, which means she gets to go to Miss usa.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
She is the state, therefore, she has to compete in the whole USA against all the other states.
Pearl
Got it, Got it, got it.
Mrs. P
Okay. Now when she gets to US Miss usa, she does not place. For the Donald Trump production. Ms. USA, she does not place.
Pearl
But she's now in the orbit.
Mrs. P
Now she's in the orbit.
Pearl
She's now. She's now.
Mrs. P
Here's this picture.
Pearl
Oh, God.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Jesus. Okay.
Mrs. P
That's so 2012.
Pearl
That's very 2012.
Mrs. P
That picture is so 2012.
Pearl
Everything.
Mrs. P
If you put Tila Tequila's face on her face, that's just 2012.
Pearl
Mr. Third. Do not do that.
Mrs. P
Don't do that.
Pearl
Do not do that. We don't need that nightmare. But I think this is. This is crazy. Yeah. Because I only know her as the lady who pretends to be the, like, dowager widow.
Ad Voice 2
Widow.
Pearl
And. But this is what she was doing in 2012.
Mrs. P
Bikini model.
Pearl
Bikini modeling. Okay. I mean, listen, that's fine. Be a Bikini model. I think what's. Again, one of the things that drive me crazy about a lot of these types of things is, like, the hypocrisy of it.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Because you're out here doing the Miss USA pageant and, like, on a red carpet in front of a step and repeat with Donald Trump's name all over it.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
In a bikini.
Mrs. P
Yep.
Pearl
And high heels.
Mrs. P
Godly.
Pearl
And. Yeah. And then you're like, I'm godly.
Mrs. P
I'm like, okay, that's Jessica Simpson heels.
Pearl
That's. Yeah.
Mrs. P
Okay. So here's the thing. When. When I watched interviews where she talks about this time in her life, she describes this as. She was very lost during this time.
Pearl
She was lost.
Mrs. P
Like, spiritually lost. Okay. But she does find a Bible eventually, but not right away, because In July of 2012, she is in a music video. She becomes a music video girly. And I'm gonna. I'm gonna play it for you.
Pearl
Okay, what's the. Okay, what's the name of the song?
Mrs. P
Oh, the name of the song is called My Kinda Crazy by. And I swear to God, the singer's name is Emerson Drive.
Pearl
Okay. All right, hold on. All right, Just. I just wanna. Erica Kirk was in a music video. Music video girly called My Kinda Crazy.
Mrs. P
Kinda Crazy.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
So I'm gonna quickly put it up behind us. I think we're gonna take the sound out or something.
Pearl
Yeah, well, we can't play the sound
Mrs. P
because I'm not getting copyrighted for this.
Pearl
We'll get copyright claimed and we don't.
Mrs. P
Emerson Drive.
Pearl
Yeah, they'll.
Mrs. P
No way, dude.
Pearl
Honestly, it's probably going to be like UMG or somebody who owns the actual music behind it. But let's. Okay, well, here's what we're going to do. We're going to do a time jump. Show me this video. Yeah. And then let's talk about it.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
Five minutes later. Oh, my God.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Oh, my God.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Yeah. Okay. So we just watched. That was the worst song I've ever heard.
Mrs. P
What are you talking about? It's up the charts in Canada.
Pearl
It was the worst song I've ever heard. That was such. That was number one. That was Bo Burnham pandering.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That was the Turning Point USA Fish Wife song.
Mrs. P
Yep.
Pearl
I'm Kiss My Fish or whatever it was. Yeah.
Mrs. P
Whatever it was.
Pearl
That. That was.
Mrs. P
Here's the things I had issues with. No, because I had a few.
Pearl
She showed her feet. I saw Erica Kirk's feet. It was feet on the dash.
Mrs. P
Here's what. Here's what I'll tell you about that music video. She pops off her cowboy boots and she's not wearing socks. Gross.
Pearl
Disgusting.
Mrs. P
Yuck.
Pearl
Disgusting.
Mrs. P
Okay. And then she puts her. Her bare feet up on the dashboard. And I said to myself, what if you put your feet on the Internet? Wiki feet is going to have some suggestions.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Guess she has a pretty high rating on Wiki Feet. I'm going to be honest with you. I looked it up. Anyway, what really upset me about.
Pearl
Wait, hold on. Erica Kirk has a Wiki feet rating?
Mrs. P
Yes. Yes, she does. Because she be showing them toes.
Pearl
No, I don't like this. Yeah, I don't like this. Yeah, I don't like this.
Mrs. P
No, don't. No, put your foot. No, blur that. Third.
Pearl
No, blur it right.
Mrs. P
It no blurred my foot. Blur it right my. Put that down. Okay.
Pearl
I want a higher rating than Erica Kirk.
Mrs. P
You're not gonna get one, buddy.
Pearl
All right.
Mrs. P
Okay. So she had a tramp stamp. That's. Yeah, there's a whole line in the song. The opening line in the song is about this butterfly tramp stamp. But when I zoomed in, it's not even a butterfly. It's a little tribal thing with a flower. And so then I'm like, where's the continuity manager for the music video? You had one job, which is if you're gonna get a press on tattoo, make it a butterfly. It's in the song.
Pearl
Yeah. Yeah. Is it? It's a fake tattoo.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
A fake tramp stamp.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And again, this is also like the whole song. The line that got me is they kept saying that she was ponytail.
Mrs. P
I don't know what that means.
Pearl
I know what it means. It's weirdly insulting.
Mrs. P
What do you mean?
Pearl
So, okay, what they're trying to say, I think. And again, I am in the song,
Mrs. P
which you do not have to listen to. Please don't.
Pearl
Please don't.
Mrs. P
He describes her as ponytail pretty.
Pearl
It's in the chorus. It's in the chorus of the song. He keeps saying she's ponytail pretty. Now, the one thing I'll say in the music video, she never once has a ponytail.
Mrs. P
Never. Her hair is down.
Pearl
But ponytail pretty is when you see somebody who isn't made up. Right. She just quickly puts her hair in a ponytail. Maybe she just rolled out of bed. Like she's effortless, effortlessly pretty.
Mrs. P
Yeah. I don't think.
Pearl
She just is. That's what I think of you.
Mrs. P
Oh, wow.
Pearl
Like, I mean, I know you get a lot of effort, but yeah, for the show. And I. I get mad about sometimes because I'm like, all right, babe, we got. We got time. Time is ticking time.
Mrs. P
We got. Time is ticking time for the details.
Pearl
Yeah. And I'm over here like, listen, I think you're beautiful from sunrise sunset. All right.
Mrs. P
We got to give it to the people.
Pearl
I know. I know. You got to serve.
Mrs. P
I got to. I got to do it. Give face.
Pearl
Especially when you're selling shirts.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
But cutesy shirts. But what I'll say. The other thing is, when I was watching this video, there is another part of it where she has like a giant. They go to Las Vegas.
Mrs. P
They go to Vegas.
Pearl
City of sin.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
The yokel that is supposed to be her boyfriend stand in. In the video the entire time. It's just like, she's so great. Yeah. They have lines like she's. She sounds country, but she looks city.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And I'm like, she doesn't know. She does not look city at all.
Mrs. P
No, she doesn't.
Pearl
She looks the most Arizona I've ever seen anyone look Arizona.
Mrs. P
Arizona bore a person from its dry sand. Be her.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Even though she's from Ohio.
Pearl
Even though she's from Ohio. But this is. She had the most Arizona upbringing look I've ever seen.
Mrs. P
Other thing that I noticed in the
Pearl
music video, the giant alcohol.
Mrs. P
Oh, I saw the giant party alcohol cup for sure.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
No. She. We get our first sneak peek at what we all now know is her favorite fashion sequins. Because she's wearing a going out sequins top and a pair of skinny jeans. Classic 2012.
Pearl
Yes.
Mrs. P
I'll go in out top and skinny jeans.
Pearl
But let's not just make fun of Erica. Can we also just make fun of the band for a little bit? Because that was the most. No, you know what? You know what it is? What is. It was 2008 fashion, which makes sense for a 2012 music video for a country song. By the way, we've not mentioned. For the audio listeners out there or anybody who haven't hasn't heard this song. It's a terrible country song. Yeah. And it is like a Florida Georgia line bullshit. There's nine guys singing in it.
Mrs. P
In the back of a truck.
Pearl
In the back of it. No, I think actually they're actually supposed to be on one of the double decker tour buses.
Mrs. P
Buses.
Pearl
Oh, I think that what I think this was shot. They're on a double decker tour bus driving down the Vegas strip is the gimmick. Because at one point there is an interaction with somebody on a double decker tour bus, like banging a Bongo or something.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
And I was like. As I was watching it, I just got more and more upset.
Mrs. P
I hated this video. Music video made me. It made me feel as though I was inside of a guy. Fieri restaurant in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Pearl
Yes. Yes.
Mrs. P
That was the entire vibe, the whole music video. I said, ah, yes. I will be getting a giant cheeseburger with huge onion rings on it and a macaroni and cheese filled with some type of thing that's not supposed to be macaroni and cheese.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And it's called the Flavortown Mac and Cheese. And this is the music in the background.
Pearl
There's a guy.
Mrs. P
Somebody called me Ponytail. Pretty. And I think it might be an insult.
Pearl
It's. They don't think it is.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
They don't think it is. All right. It's like calling somebody matron, like. But the thing that you need to understand, okay. It could be if done right. But the other thing I think is the way these guys are dressed with the double pocket, like American flag. It's like pseudo Ed Hardy.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
The entire time. But here's the one thing I. I will. I will get after just these fucking. You know, they look like Dane Cook. It's like five Dane Cooks.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That's what it is. That's what's been bugging me.
Mrs. P
It's five cooks.
Pearl
It's Too Many Cooks. Fuck you.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Nailed it.
Pearl
You got it. You got it, too. You got it, too. Good. That song was better than this one.
Mrs. P
Wow.
Pearl
The Too Many Cooks song is better than. What's the song called again?
Mrs. P
Oh, My Kind of Crazy.
Pearl
My Kind of Crazy.
Mrs. P
Okay, but.
Pearl
And. And the. The chorus loops too much. But getting back to Erica.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
It's the only genuine smile I've ever seen from her.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Is when she's on that zip line.
Mrs. P
Oh, yeah, she's on a zip line.
Pearl
They put her on a zip line and she shoots down. Yeah. The length of the tunnel. There's like, a covered area of the Las Vegas strip that has these LED boards, which in 2012 were, like, incredible. And I was like, oh, my God, this is so amazing. And now everything's an LED board. So it's like just a lost. It's. Yeah, it's a lost area in there. But they do the zip line. And the look of joy she has on her face.
Mrs. P
I was like, yeah, that's a party girl from Arizona.
Pearl
That's a party girl from Arizona State. Just zip.
Mrs. P
And she moves to New York City.
Pearl
She does a country music video.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And then she Goes, I need to go to New York City, not Nashville.
Mrs. P
No, because she doesn't want to be a country music star. She wants to be a star.
Pearl
Here's the thing. She. She fucked up so bad because she could have done the. She could have been the Amber Rose of country music. You know what I mean? She could have been a country music
Mrs. P
video in the Trump campaign no matter what.
Pearl
Yeah, I know.
Mrs. P
It ends up back to the Trump campaign.
Pearl
No matter what you do, you're going to end up in a jeep with Nick Cannon.
Mrs. P
So, yeah. She moves to New York City in search of bright lights and fame.
Pearl
Sorry, New York City.
Mrs. P
And in my mind, I feel like she's going there and she's very like, I'm gonna be very Carrie Brad Bradshaw. She's very like, I'm gonna be Carrie
Pearl
Bradshaw from Sex in the City.
Mrs. P
But she is truly going to be a Marnie. She is a Marnie from Girls. Yes.
Pearl
I haven't watched that show. Yeah, I never watched Girls. I've seen one scene from Girls.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
It was when the one news anchor's daughter got her. But. Yep, the one from get out.
Mrs. P
Yep. That's Marnie.
Pearl
That's Marnie.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Oh, that's Marty. Oh, yeah, yeah. Erica Kirk is Marty. I thought Marnie was the other one. The little troll looking one.
Mrs. P
No.
Pearl
Who's the writer?
Mrs. P
Yeah, I don't.
Pearl
I can't remember.
Mrs. P
I don't even. But here's the thing. I didn't watch Girls until, like, two years ago.
Pearl
Yeah, you. You, like, one day I was like,
Mrs. P
people were talking about it online and they were like, girls. And I was like, you know, I never watched that show when it was out.
Pearl
You know, you watch. Started watching. You started watching it after we had a kid as, like, a flashback to what?
Mrs. P
I didn't realize it was gonna be a flashback for you. Yeah, I was like, oh, dude.
Pearl
Yeah. Cuz you're watching and you're like, oh, yeah, this is 2010.
Mrs. P
Oh, I was like, oh, yeah, yeah. Jessa in the house.
Pearl
Yeah, well, because it's set in what, it's like New York and Brooklyn, right? Yeah, but that is basically the same story of, like, Port Richmond and Fishtown and Northern liberties of Philly. And so it was the same exact thing.
Mrs. P
It's. It's all the same. But. But I. But she's very much.
Pearl
Anyway, Marnie. Okay, got it. So while she's literally the only character who I've seen in that show while
Mrs. P
she's in New York City, Lingus, she's,
Pearl
I think I just got to steam on.
Mrs. P
No, bleep that. Bleep that. So while she's in New York City, she decides she's going to create an app, a phone app that helps you read the Bible.
Pearl
What?
Mrs. P
It's called Bible in 3, 6, 5.
Pearl
It helps you read the Bible. Does it read it to you?
Mrs. P
No. Now, number one, I'm gonna say this. I did not download the app because I feel like it's gonna give my phone a virus.
Pearl
Yeah, 100%. It's definitely the same as the new White House app, where it's gonna, like, track you every 4.5 minutes and just quick little check in, seeing where you are in the world.
Mrs. P
So Bible in365 is her ministry project.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
That helps people read the Bible. I'm assuming it's like Du Lingo. Like, there's an angry owl that's bullying you to make sure you're doing your homework.
Pearl
But now. But then heel turns one day fully into AI. Remember when Duolingo did that?
Mrs. P
Yeah, when I. People used to love Duolingo. Now they're like, you, dude.
Pearl
Yeah, they. They nuke big time. It was one press release. Du Lingo.
Mrs. P
So much online goodwill.
Pearl
So much.
Mrs. P
And it was that one lady.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
They had a social media manager who was incredible.
Pearl
So good.
Mrs. P
And she built this just like, positive outlook on Duolingo, where everybody knew the guy, the little Al guy. He was everywhere. He has a little but his videos a little but. And then they just released a statement, clearly from, like, the CEO that was like, yeah, we're going to get an AI. And everybody was like, you'll fuck you.
Pearl
Yeah. They were like, we're firing half the company. We're moving AI forward. And their numbers just put. Plummeted immediately.
Mrs. P
Everybody deleted it.
Pearl
Yeah, because, like, you did. Yeah. At that point, then if you're using AI, then at the end of the day, then one, your company's evil. But to the other part of it is that you can just go use AI yourself to do it then. Yeah, I don't need to use Duolingo.
Mrs. P
Or you can go to the library.
Pearl
Or you go to the library, borrow
Mrs. P
all the CDs and audiobooks and. And the rail books, all the ways that you can learn new language.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And sometimes there's even classes. Yeah, there's classes at our library for learning language. So listen, this is what the app looks like.
Pearl
Looks like. Yeah.
Mrs. P
It has a 4.4 rating on Apple. So I need everybody listening to this on Apple. Please go give us five stars. Please leave A review. I need our podcast. Have better reviews than Bible in 365 ministry.
Pearl
I will say that we currently do. We have a 4.9 rating on.
Mrs. P
I need to always be smoke in this app.
Pearl
You need to always.
Mrs. P
I always be crushing them. Bible Tainment 720.
Pearl
Well, and can I tell you something? Because you said it's her ministry.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Which means that this app is probably tax free.
Mrs. P
Oh, yeah, for sure.
Pearl
Versus us. We have to pay taxes. Which I need to do very shortly. We're closing in on. They're not getting me on tax evasion. I'm not Al Capone.
Mrs. P
So here's the other thing that. Okay. She starts her app.
Pearl
So Bible in 365.
Mrs. P
Bible in 365.
Pearl
So it's supposed to. I guess it's supposed to. I guess what you're right, though. It's like you got to read this many pages today to catch up. If you're going to read the whole Bible in a year.
Mrs. P
Yeah, you got to read the whole Bible in a year.
Pearl
Can I tell you, recently I was having trouble sleeping and I did actually start reading the Bible one day because I was reading a thing and there was a reference. It was. I was reading a thing and there was a reference to something from Genesis. And I was like, you know what? I like, know this story, but I don't.
Mrs. P
No.
Pearl
No, I haven't, like, read it.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And so I went and I found like a. A free Bible for my iPad.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And I was like reading it. And it is very difficult to stay awake.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
It put me right out.
Mrs. P
That's the melatonin of paper.
Pearl
It is. It put me right the down. But also as I was reading it,
Mrs. P
fiction is very relaxing.
Pearl
I know. But also as I was reading and I was like, imagine dying for this. Jesus Christ. I get dying. Like Dune. Sure.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
You know what I mean? Maybe Star Wars. Awesome.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
There's cool characters. His. They added a ham to his name. And now that means that you get this whole country.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
His name was Abram before you. Now he's Abram Ham. But you can't eat ham. Doesn't make sense.
Mrs. P
So after you make your app, you got to do what Merch.
Pearl
Oh, like our shirts.
Mrs. P
Yeah, like our shirt.
Pearl
Like our shirts.
Mrs. P
Which you can get the soil bonfire dot com. Link below. Link.
Pearl
Yeah, link below. Link in the description. Link in the description.
Mrs. P
What does Erica know better than anyone else? Streetwear.
Pearl
Wade. Wait, Erica Kirk? Yeah. Has a streetwear company?
Mrs. P
Yes. She's a streetwear line.
Pearl
Give me your hand.
Mrs. P
Yep.
Pearl
I want to make fun of this so bad because I can already feel how bad we can make fun of this, which is why. And I know that everyone out there listening wants to hear us make fun of it.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Which is why they can hear it right after this. Sponsor. Spring is here again and you don't need a new wardrobe. You just need the right pieces. Quince makes clothing you'll wear every day, year round. Quince clothes are well made, versatile, and built to last. From activewear to formal wear and everything in between, Quince has the essentials you'll love. And guess what? Mrs. P right now is wearing something that she just got from Quince.
Mrs. P
That's true. I love this shirt too. It's the perfect weight of cotton. It's so airy, it's so light. It's perfect for this, like spring weather because it can be layered or it can be worn alone. Also, I could wear it to, like a nice event, but also it's casual. It's literally the perfect shirt.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Also, I need to tell you something that they don't talk about, but I need to talk about. The clothing comes in compostable bags.
Pearl
Really?
Mrs. P
Yeah. So you know how, like when you order clothing, they'll come in like a little plastic bag?
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
All the plastic bags that the Quince items came in were compostable.
Pearl
Well, you know why Mrs. P is? Because Quints partners directly with ethical factories and top artisans. This is how they care about their entire logistics process here. No middlemen means you spend 50 to 60% less than similar brands. Refresh your wardrobe with quince. Go to quince.comtmt for free shipping and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. Mrs. P
A streetwear company.
Pearl
Erica Franz V. Franz V. Now known as Erica Kirk. Yeah, she knows fashion.
Mrs. P
Streetwear. Fashion specifically.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Me, I know cutesy, gardening, working around the house, looking cool and awesome. Yeah, she knows street wear.
Pearl
Can I say something about streetwear real fast? I understand street wear. I know people like it. This shirt is not. I don't think of this shirt streetwear because this is a ringer tee that we made. But recently, like, people do send us shirts sometimes and I get streetwear sent to me and I'm not a streetwear guy.
Mrs. P
It. You are just a little too old, I think.
Pearl
I think I. I think I am.
Mrs. P
The shoulders are too long.
Pearl
I miss a V neck. That's what I want to say about this.
Mrs. P
This.
Pearl
I want V next to return.
Mrs. P
No.
Pearl
Why do our decks need to be so tight? The collars are getting tight.
Mrs. P
This one's not tight.
Pearl
This one's not. No, that's saying this shirt's really good.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But I think collars are getting too tight. The looks are getting too puritanical. Everything's getting a little bit too baggy for me, and that's what I feel I'm about to see on this.
Mrs. P
Okay, so this streetwear brand is called Proclaim. Proclaim the Proclaim Streetwear.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I already hate it.
Mrs. P
So here's how Proclaim Streetwear works. It is also a 5001 3C. Of course, a hundred percent of the proceeds from Proclaim Streetwear go directly towards keeping Bible in 365 free.
Pearl
I hate circle. I hate that Everyone Circle scam. Everyone has Shell LLC and companies but us. Yeah, everyone.
Mrs. P
Everyone.
Pearl
I swear. It's just.
Mrs. P
Oh, my God, we are so dumb.
Pearl
Accounting is the root of all evil. Okay, okay, all right, hit me.
Mrs. P
So let me show you this first shirt. Let me show you about this streetwear. This woman who understands streetwear, she made this shirt. It's the women Woman. Women of the Bible. Tea. Okay, okay. It's AI Slop.
Pearl
Oh, my God. That's terrible. AI.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Oh, my God.
Mrs. P
Really bad. And there's nothing that says streetwear like a woman named Ruth on your.
Pearl
Yeah, but also, they all have the same face.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
These are five different women of the Bible.
Mrs. P
Mother, Mary, Esther, Deborah, Hannah, and Ruth.
Pearl
And Ruth. These are all white women. Yeah.
Mrs. P
It's a black and white image, historically, not white women.
Pearl
I know. And this is a black and white image. Right. But they are all somehow blonde, even in a black and white image.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And it's on. What color is this?
Mrs. P
I would say it's a nice salmon.
Pearl
They said rose quartz. Can I see something real fast here? I just want to see. Can you click on one of the other ones so I can see what it looks like on a full shirt?
Mrs. P
Oh, yeah. You want to see?
Pearl
Oh, my God. That looks like.
Mrs. P
Oh, she's wearing it with a long peasant skirt. So again, street wear, really nailing.
Pearl
When I think street wear, when I think being in the streets.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I think peasant skirt.
Mrs. P
That's what I think.
Pearl
Because I definitely think a skirt so long that it's touching the sidewalk and picking up dirt.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Nope.
Pearl
Okay. So that's one of the modern ones over here. What else do they got?
Mrs. P
Okay, now I need to tie something.
Pearl
Something. Okay.
Mrs. P
I found this one sweater. One of these. She does a hoodie because of course.
Pearl
Of course she has a hoodie. Well, these.
Mrs. P
You can get these.
Pearl
And we got a lot of orange hoodies. Yeah.
Mrs. P
This one, I have to say, is so funny. And I don't think they know it's funny. I think they think they're being cool. But it made me laugh so hard. It says on the front, they said. They said Noah was a conspiracy theorist. And then on the back, it says, and then it rained.
Pearl
And then there's a picture of Noah on the ark. Yeah, that is. Okay.
Mrs. P
Ironically, this goes crazy.
Pearl
This is.
Mrs. P
If you have irony in your heart, you're like, that's funny. So also, the color is listed as myrrh. See, that's funny. That is funny.
Pearl
That is funny. I'll give them that.
Mrs. P
That's funny.
Pearl
I'll give them that. It's called the God remembered Noah hoodie. Here's what I will say very quickly. Yeah. Can you pull the image back up for me, please?
Mrs. P
Okay, sure.
Pearl
So here's what I'll say for this. Number one, they stole this from Facebook. Oh, this is a Facebook meme. I want you to imagine. I want you to imagine a minion saying this. That is how this goes. This is a minion Facebook meme. This is the. Okay. Do you remember how. You know how boomers on Facebook, there's the certain, like, framing formats where you could take your Facebook status but then, like, have it, like, surrounded by emojis.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Bitmoji.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
All these different things. This is definitely something named Deborah would share. The other thing, getting back to the image itself, I do, like, on the back that it's a frame. The framing is the frame of a window from an old painting, I think. Yeah. Of Noah.
Mrs. P
It looks like Leonardo da Vinci.
Pearl
Yeah. Da Vinci style. Renaissance feel vibe of Noah catching. I think it's the dove that found the twig that lets you know that they found land.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Blah, blah. Which never made sense to me because twigs can float in water. Anyway. Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. The olive branch. The other part of it, though, is that I like that it looks like Noah's climbing out of your back.
Mrs. P
Yeah, that's cool.
Pearl
But here's the thing I hate.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Which your shirt doesn't do.
Mrs. P
What's that?
Pearl
That is gonna feel like dog because that is a single block screen printed flat.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And it's gonna break when in the washer, dryer. All these different things. Also, also, Erica being, like they said, Noah was a conspiracy theorist, and then being at war with the biggest conspiracy theorists of them all right now is crazy.
Mrs. P
She didn't know that when she made that hoodie.
Pearl
I don't know. I really don't know when it was launched.
Mrs. P
I didn't look it up.
Pearl
Do you have any classics?
Mrs. P
Oh, you want to see the classic?
Pearl
I want to see some class.
Mrs. P
I want to show you exactly how this all started, the beginning of the street brand itself.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Because when it comes to streetwear, we know it here. And it's a V neck.
Pearl
I'll give it to them. I'll get. They're both millennials.
Mrs. P
No, look at this.
Pearl
You can tell this is so old. Let me. Let me just say something. This is so old that Charlie Kirk is one of the models. So we know this is dated.
Mrs. P
I like that the jacket, which was priced at $149, and it just says proclaim across the back. Yeah. Is listed as a hundred percent flight satin, AKA nylon.
Pearl
That flight satin is nylon plastique. So they won $150. Yeah. And they're doing the black on black. So black lettering on a black shirt.
Mrs. P
See, she's. She's not tall or. He is a giant.
Pearl
I think he was tall. I think Charlie Kirk was tall. From everything I've. I've. I've heard or remembered.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
About him.
Mrs. P
But, yeah, let's not talk about Charlie Kirk because we haven't even gotten there. She's still dating.
Pearl
She's still dating.
Mrs. P
She's. Of the streets.
Pearl
In the street.
Mrs. P
That's where she learned about streetwear was in the streets.
Pearl
Okay, let's talk about. She's walking these street streets meeting strange men. Is that what you're saying?
Mrs. P
She's out here with the boys.
Pearl
Out here with the boys. Okay.
Mrs. P
In this part of my story, all right, she is currently dating minor league baseball player J.T. massey.
Pearl
Okay, hold on. Stop. Okay. Oh, my God. She's dating a. Every minor league.
Mrs. P
No, minor league baseball player.
Pearl
There's. I just want everyone to know that, like, every minor league baseball player I've ever met, I've been like, oh, buddy,
Mrs. P
future real estate agent.
Pearl
Every. When somebody goes hard into baseball and. Listen, I love baseball. I do. And I, you know, love watching them boys out there swinging a stick. But they're all just print. If they're not Dominican, they're prancing ponies out there.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
All right. Every. Every white baseball player I've ever had an interaction with has been one of the dumbest people I've ever met on earth. Well, I'm like, buddy, you are about to get scammed. They're all on the edge of getting scammed.
Mrs. P
So Erica and jt, while they're dating, they audition for the Amazing Race together.
Pearl
Shut up. No, that's crazy.
Mrs. P
I have the audition tape.
Pearl
Oh, really?
Mrs. P
Yes. Let's watch a quick clip of it.
Pearl
Let's watch a clip from it. Hi, I'm erica Franz. I'm 25 years old from Scottsdale, Arizona, and I currently live in Venice, California. People want cleavage.
Mrs. P
Showcase it. Sex sells, babe. Sex sells.
Pearl
That's me. It's not within the confines of marriage. So we don't like you. We'll tell you. If you don't know, now you know. If you don't know, now you know. Yeah, censored, probably censored. Probably not gonna say censored right there. We're athletic and we love to.
Ad Voice 1
You sound like that guy Charlie or what's his name?
Pearl
Grizzly Knows Best. He's wearing the deepest V neck I've ever seen. That was the deepest V. I'm so. I want V necks back bad. No, all this is doing. You're. I know. You're like, I'm. We're exposing Erica Kirk exposed. And I'm like, exposing those chesticles. That's a V neck. Also, there is a line in there.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That I have to just point out where she. She quotes Biggie. Biggie Smalls, and then she says censored. Censored. You didn't even need to say censorship. You could just end the line right where you landed it.
Mrs. P
Wow.
Pearl
It's pretty amazing. That was. That was insane.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That was lunacy.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So she's there. She's trying. What I'm trying to discuss with you is that we are always trying to become a star right now.
Pearl
You know what? You know what's wild?
Mrs. P
What?
Pearl
I know someone else who tried out for the Amazing Race, who has a couple's submission tape. Who do you want to guess? I know somebody. You met them?
Mrs. P
I've met them. You met them and they didn't get on.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Who?
Pearl
Phil and Lindsay DeFranco.
Mrs. P
Shut up. Yeah, Phil and Lindsay auditioned for the Amazing.
Pearl
Audition for the Amazing Race around this time.
Mrs. P
Oh, my God.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
They would have been on the same time. I know.
Pearl
It would have been crazy.
Mrs. P
The same season.
Pearl
I know, I know.
Mrs. P
But My God. The alternate universe.
Pearl
This alternate universe. Yeah. So crazy.
Mrs. P
Okay, so during this whole time, okay. She gets her degree from Liberty University in legal studies.
Pearl
Wait, hold on. All right. Shut the fuck up. No, she gets an online degree from Liberty University.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
For legal studies.
Mrs. P
Yeah. She's not a lawyer.
Pearl
She's not a lawyer.
Mrs. P
This is like the. There's a JD and then there's the next one down, like a J.
Pearl
She's basically. She's basically a more glorified paralegal.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Which. You're a paralegal. You have a paralegal degree.
Mrs. P
That's right.
Pearl
Yeah, that's right.
Mrs. P
Two years of community college, baby.
Pearl
Yeah. You had a certification.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
All right.
Mrs. P
That's what I'm talking about.
Pearl
Jerrica Kirk. I don't know what she's. She's certified something.
Mrs. P
Okay. Also I would want to point out for. For people that maybe don't know. Liberty University is a member of the advisory board of Project 2025.
Pearl
Yeah, it was also. Which I think we did. I don't. We do an episode on Jerry Falwell. I know we did one on Pat Robertson.
Mrs. P
Yeah, I think we talked about Jerry Falwell.
Pearl
Jerry Falwell started Liberty University. This has been part of. Liberty University is part of the right wing and Christian nationalist push to take over law and to move the window on where things are acceptable. They were like, oh, when we go to. They're like, oh, when we go to a public school, like, I'll go to a state university, like Penn State. And we argue that evolution shouldn't be taught in schools, they laugh at us. So instead we'll just create a university where we can teach kids how to argue that evolution shouldn't be taught in schools, that type of thing. And so Liberty University is the. Is one of the big backbones in behind the legal fight, behind people like Donald Trump, like the Christian nationalist movement to try to take over and has taken over America. And so many of the different evil things that you hear of whenever you look into the guy who's writing that document's backstory, Liberty University shows up somewhere. They've all at least passed through these halls once, even if it's just for a conference.
Mrs. P
That one, that one lady from the Supreme Court. I was going to say that from the same course, Amy Coney Barrett. That one. She was part of that whole thing.
Pearl
Yeah. No, but I don't doubt it. This is. This is one of those things of, like, the split also is because, like,
Mrs. P
when you get into the conspiracy of it all There is conspiracy. Conspiracy.
Pearl
There is a conspiracy. That's the part that's crazy. There's an open conspiracy by all of them to do all of this different stuff. It's not the one that Candice.
Mrs. P
But then they talk about. There are other conspiracies they make up.
Pearl
Yeah, because that's why they have to make up the Romanian baby thing with her.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Because if they actually talk about how she's part of a conspiracy to take over America from the Christian nationalist. Right. Then that would upset Candace's true base of funders. Because they want that.
Mrs. P
Okay, all right, listen. She's living in New York. She's taking online classes at Liberty University. Erica Kerr work.
Pearl
Erica Franz.
Mrs. P
She also get goes and takes classes and gets her real estate license.
Pearl
Oh, she's such a. I. You've. So far, you've listed so many non jobs for her. So many non jobs. I'm an entrepreneur.
Mrs. P
She also. I didn't even write this down, but I remember learning about it is she was like, what's like a person that gets people on shows. Like a casting director for like a modeling agency.
Pearl
Oh, so she did work in trafficking.
Mrs. P
Okay, okay, so.
Pearl
But she had all kinds of, you can't listen. Casting agent. She's. She's running a casting agency for modeling. Want to eat clean at home? Green Chef is the way to go. Green Chef delivers real farm sourced ingredients with over 40 customizable weekly recipes. Every Green Chef box comes with certified organic produce and responsibly sourced proteins and seafoods. And Mrs. P, you cook a lot in our household and you really enjoy trying out new things. What are your thoughts on Green Chef?
Mrs. P
I love Green Chef. It makes it so simple. They send you all the ingredients and the directions because sometimes at the end of the day when it's dinner time, I don't have the brain power left and they're all just in the bag together. Boom. I pull it out, I have directions, I just follow their lead and it always comes out delicious.
Pearl
And the other thing I really like is as someone who doesn't cook that often, sometimes I do grab one and I look over the instructions and I go, oh, I think I can do this one. And I actually get the ability to do it and make a nice confidence builder. It does. It builds up some confidence and then, you know, it just, it works a lot better. Let Green Chef do the meal planning and grocery shopping while you enjoy low prep and low mess meals. Head to greenchef.com 50tabs and use code 50tabs to get 50% off your first month, then get 20% off for two months. That's code 50tabs@greenchef.com. 50tabs for modeling. And that's not the one we leaned on. We went with the Romanian kids. Okay, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure.
Mrs. P
So when she's working in, she gets this real estate license.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
She works at the Core Quran Group, which is a real estate group in New York that's run by the Shark Tank lady, Barbara Corcoran.
Pearl
Or how do you say. Yeah, I think it's Corcoran.
Mrs. P
I don't know.
Pearl
The way you said it sound like Core Quran. Like, it sounded like the. The core of Islam.
Mrs. P
Yeah, Core Quran.
Pearl
Yeah. I think it's Core Koran.
Mrs. P
I don't know.
Pearl
I don't know.
Mrs. P
We're saying Shark Tank lady.
Pearl
Yeah. And I hate her, too.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I've seen her. The only. Okay, so I don't.
Mrs. P
Saying the reality shows.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
They're everywhere. She's collecting, always around.
Pearl
She's thanos collecting them. She's got Trump. She's got the lady from Shark Tank.
Mrs. P
Yeah. She tried out for the.
Pearl
For Amazing Race. She's filling up. She's filling up the Infinity Gauntlet here.
Mrs. P
Here.
Pearl
Well, say about this lady, the. The Corcoran lady.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I've hated her since I saw her on TikTok. You know, there's the guy who walks up to people on the street. He's always like, finds her. Well, where do you live?
Mrs. P
Oh, yeah. How much do you pay to live in your apartment?
Pearl
How much is your apartment? And then can I see it? And they do the tour. He did that with her.
Mrs. P
Oh, God.
Pearl
And, like, the whole thing, I was like. It was so. She was so like, oh, yeah, that's marble. And like this. This thing. And it was just as I was watching, I was like, fuck you. Like, you don't even appreciate what you have. And honestly, it felt very much like when we learned with Vanity Fair. Is it when the Vanity Fair. Architectural Digest, which is the one where they do the tour of the apartments. Yeah, those. They're often to actually make selling points. It's basically a real estate video.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
To flip this later because you want people. Oh. As it was focused on in Vanity Fair magazine or Architectural Digest. Oh, my God, there's so many of those.
Mrs. P
One of those we watched where I was obsessed. It was like the older lady, I remember she had a trip tree in her backyard.
Pearl
It was the old. Yeah. She was like the Asian lady who lived in New York in, like, Manhattan.
Mrs. P
Yeah. But she was like, on the other side of the river, just across. And it was the most beautiful house.
Pearl
She was on the. I think she was on the Jersey side.
Mrs. P
Yeah. But it was. She was just in a little hideaway, and she had this beautiful garden. So. Immaculately kept with this beautiful tree.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And she's just. I'm like. I was in the tour, and I'm like, I like the wealth.
Pearl
Wealth.
Mrs. P
The wealth. Whispering through the screen was so loud.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Because it was like, you could just see the. The curtains were pure silk. You could see that the floors were hand laid.
Pearl
But not only that is when she showed the backyard. I lost my mind when she showed the backyard, because I was like, the second you die.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
A developer is demolishing all of that, and they're gonna put up like a thousand units there.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I just. You could feel it. You're like, the only reason that tree exists.
Mrs. P
This. Yeah.
Pearl
Is because that lady is alive.
Mrs. P
Exactly. And she.
Pearl
She keeps just turning down the money.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That's all it is.
Mrs. P
She can.
Pearl
Because she can. Because she's that rich.
Mrs. P
And then you got to go see the Lily Allen one, and you're like, this is a lot.
Pearl
Oh, God. Yeah. The Lily Allen said so much.
Mrs. P
It's 2018.
Pearl
Okay. Okay.
Mrs. P
Get yourself.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Try to remember 2018. Where were you mentally? Not great.
Pearl
Bad.
Mrs. P
Not good.
Pearl
Donald Trump was president.
Mrs. P
What an incredible year. Okay. And the reason it was an incredible year.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Is because Erica starts filming her first reality show.
Pearl
Oh, she actually gets on a reality show.
Mrs. P
Gets on a reality show.
Pearl
Erica Kirk gets on a reality show.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
But she doesn't get to star on it. She's like a guest star.
Pearl
Like a walk on guest type of deal.
Mrs. P
Sort of, kind of.
Pearl
Okay, got it.
Mrs. P
Have you ever watched Summer House?
Pearl
No. What is that?
Mrs. P
Okay. Summer House is a Bravo TV series that follows a group of friends who share a summer house in the Hamptons. So, like, basically they work all week, and then on the weekends they all go to their summer Hampton house. And the reality show takes place at. On the weekends at the summer house.
Pearl
This feels just like Jersey Shore for the end of Long Island.
Mrs. P
Yes, that is exactly what it is. It's just rich kids instead of slightly trashy Italians. Exactly. You know what? I think only Pauly D. Was Italian or Vinnie, one of those.
Pearl
Well, a lot. A lot of they were pretend. There were a lot of Italian stereotypes. There are a lot of times stereotypes on the Jersey shore, but they were
Mrs. P
being stereotyped by people that were pretending to be Italian. It was Very strange.
Pearl
Yeah, I know. The whole thing was weird. The whole entire thing was word. But I've never watched Summer.
Mrs. P
But I did watch all of Jersey Shore.
Pearl
Yeah. Have you ever watched Summer House?
Mrs. P
Okay. No. So here's what happens.
Pearl
Okay?
Mrs. P
I never watched Summer House, but it's going. It goes viral every season that it comes on on my tick tock.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
It's very much like Love for a sight or whatever it's called, or the Married at First Sight Australia. Certain shows that go viral in short. In short form. Then I'm like, wait, what's going on?
Pearl
They clip well.
Mrs. P
They clip well.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And so the past two weeks, Summer House has been going viral. This is why it was top of mind for me.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Because when I saw Summer House, I was like, what do you mean? Because what's happening on Summer House is there's this woman named Amanda and Kai Kyle, her boyfriend Kyle. They were two main cast members.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
They started dating early in the show season and they're very rough, dynamic. There are a lot of fighting, a lot of drunken, a lot of. They're a mismatch for sure. They got very different personality.
Pearl
This feels like a show I would never watch. It feels like a show that I'd walk in. If you were watching on probably. It's Bravo, so it's probably Hulu. If I walked in and you were watching this, I would walk in and go, ugh. And then grab my Nintendo Switch and leave.
Mrs. P
Yes, absolutely. That would be what happened.
Pearl
That's 100.
Mrs. P
And so Kyle and Amanda, very tumultuous relationship for many seasons.
Pearl
Got it.
Mrs. P
But they got married and whatever. And this season they are officially broken up. I believe they're potentially filing for divorce.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
But this season is like been filmed during this breakup process. So it's like people are. Are locked the.
Ad Voice 2
Oh.
Pearl
Because things are being dramatic. Things are being revealed.
Mrs. P
Being a real dick, she kind of is so over it and not trying to chase him. So it's like all the clips, I'm like, this is dynamic. Right? But then here's the crazy thing, right? There's Amanda's best friend's name is Sierra. Okay.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Now Sierra used to date a different guy in the house. His name is West. Okay. Now he's. You can't see it. He's upset and he wish he could walk away, but he can't because this is being recorded.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Okay. So Sierra and Amanda are best friends and Sierra used to date west. And they had a tumultuous thing. Right.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Where Wes was like, really Trying to get with Sierra and she was like, I don't want to get together because people have really used me in the past because I feel as though I'm over sexualized as a black woman and I don't want to participate in that and blah, blah. And he really pursued her and he really pursues her and I guess at the end of one season they finally get together and then he immediately like cuts it off with her and it's like, it's just like, like he sucks. It's like sucky sounds like a bad person. He's a bad person.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And so then there's like more seasons because they're all court characters. So like they, they have this dynamic where they're working.
Pearl
So they. This is one of those things where if these were actually friends and actually people who knew each other by this point, none of them would be talking.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But because there's a contractual outcome obligation for them to return to this house every single summer. Like some sort of purgatory style nightmare.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
It keeps going.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
It's like the reason why you should just delete your Facebook. Your Facebook friends that you've had since elementary school because no one should know what somebody you sat behind in third grade thinks about politics right now. You move far away or they move far away or just you don't talk to them anyway. Why the would you let them comment on your kids pictures?
Mrs. P
Why would you think about that?
Pearl
But reality. This reason why I don't watch shows like this is because I've worked at a bar.
Mrs. P
Yeah, no, I know.
Pearl
That's the reason why I don't watch them either.
Mrs. P
This is what happened. Okay, so I'm not done yet.
Pearl
Okay. I know.
Mrs. P
Okay. So literally when I was writing this, I've been writing this episode for two days now. I did hours and hours of research all weekend. And then on Monday, Tuesday, I sat down, I was like, let me get my notes together. And I wrote all about Amanda and Kyle. And I was like, this is what you need to understand. But here's what happened yesterday. The Amanda released a joint statement with west saying that they are potentially get. They have gotten together because rumors have been swirling that they have started dating. And then they had to release a joint statement which says everything. And it's not apologetic. They're like, we just like need a time to like figure out because we're such close friends, blah, blah. The thing is, is Sierra and Amanda are best friends and Amanda knows all the shit that Wes put Sierra through. True. Right. So this is so up. This is up on so many levels.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
That I could do a whole dissertation on it. And I know that you're thinking, I don't know who she's talking about. These people mean nothing to me.
Pearl
Absolutely.
Mrs. P
Blah, blah, blah. You know who Sierra is. You love her, and I'm gonna prove it. And you're gonna be so mad. She has been hurt by Amanda.
Pearl
I know she is.
Mrs. P
Yes. Because Sierra was on Traders.
Pearl
Oh, Sierra.
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Yo, fuck West. Oh, my God. Oh, I remember this.
Mrs. P
Yes. Sierra famously had to hold hands with Rob.
Pearl
Boston Rob, who is. Now we all found out there may not be MAGA because he went on a fucking tour of the White House or some shit.
Mrs. P
I don't know this.
Pearl
And this is fucking.
Mrs. P
But Rob held her hand with the snakes the whole time, and they had, like, this, like, close relationship.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
He talked her down. Everybody was like. Like, oh, my God, Rob. Such a good guy.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
It was the only redeeming moment in the whole show.
Pearl
Yeah. And then he went. Then, like a true traitor, he went to fucking Speaker Johnson's room and held up the man of the year fixture
Mrs. P
or whatever the fuck it was.
Pearl
Jesus Christ.
Mrs. P
But that's who Sierra.
Pearl
I was already on Sierra's side, though. The second you told me this bullshit about West, I know. That was the one thing I picked up.
Mrs. P
I needed you to really be on her side because.
Pearl
Okay. All right. Okay. Is there anything else I need to know about Summer House before we get back back to Erica Kirk?
Mrs. P
I mean, there's a lot going on with Summer House right now because there's this whole Lover Boy scandal. Okay. So here's what's happening. Amanda and Kyle, they get together.
Pearl
Who do they?
Mrs. P
They're the original two I was talking about.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
The ones that are getting divorced. Okay. So Amanda and Kyle. Kyle starts an alcoholic seltzer brand called Lover Boy, and it does incredibly well.
Pearl
It does.
Mrs. P
The first. I think, like, the first or second season of Summer House really pops off during the pandemic, and so they launched Lover Boy Seltzers during the pandemic.
Pearl
And that's right when seltzers are taking off, too.
Mrs. P
Seltzer taking off. Everybody's at home.
Pearl
Yeah. Nowhere to go, I think I. Because I had. I had my first alcoholic seltzer. I want to say, like, 2019 or, like, right before lockdown. And then I discovered that I have gerd, which gives me heartburn. So now I take medication for that.
Mrs. P
Yes. So that you.
Pearl
That was all part of, like, I actually like, having a white claw led me to go to the doctor using Zoc Doc, who has sometimes been a sponsor of the show. It all comes together, guys.
Mrs. P
So, okay. And I'm telling you, it was like, so successful. I think the first year, approximately, they made like $16 million in sales.
Pearl
What the fuck?
Mrs. P
On Boozy Seltzer is called Lover Boy.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Okay. Now one of the things that was like, really a selling point is not Kyle. I need to tell you. Kyle has no personality. He sucks.
Pearl
Kyle sucked. Sucks.
Mrs. P
Kyle sucks. But people like Amanda. Amanda looks like a Haley Bieber knockoff. She's very like city girl.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And people like her and she's like a graphic designer. So she did all the graphic design for the merch and stuff. So people liked the aesthetics. They like their relationship, sorta kinda. So, like, it just had a great jumping off point.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And then sales started to drop, okay. Because Kyle and Amanda's relationship is so shitty that, like, people don't want to see support.
Pearl
They don't want to be a brand because that's Kyle's brand.
Mrs. P
It's a Kyle's brand. And this is the thing. If you're going to have a brand that is targeted, whether you realize it or not, at women, Mango seltzers are targeted to a feminine component of the world.
Pearl
No, they're not. I drink mango seltzers all the time.
Mrs. P
You are a feminine component of the world.
Pearl
No, that's not true. That's not true. Somebody on a recent comment or something said that I was the masculine version of Chris Fleming.
Mrs. P
Fleming. They said mask Chris Fleming. And so here's the thing. It's like, if you're going to sell something to the Girly Pops, you have to treat the Girly Pops good.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
You know what I mean? So he's, He's. He treats her so poorly.
Pearl
But also calling it Lover Boy doesn't make it to me. If I was a woman, I saw a can of something called Lover Boy. Yeah. I wouldn't be drawn to that. That. Unless you were specifically doing all this mass targeting towards me. So why, if you're aiming it for the Girly Pops, why wouldn't you just call it Girly Pop?
Mrs. P
What do we need to start a seltzer brand called Girly Pop?
Pearl
I don't want to start a seltzer brand. We have so much going on already.
Mrs. P
Babe. I could launch the out of a seltzer brand called Girly Pops.
Pearl
I mean, yeah, it would be great. It would sell really well. And you could probably pink tax it.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pearl
You could paint tax it really easy or not that.
Mrs. P
I mean, maybe non alcoholic or some alcoholic because we could have both.
Pearl
You got to mix it.
Mrs. P
Anyway, the whole thing is, is the brand starts to fail and who does he blame? His wife. And the whole thing is like he's out partying, there's all these cheating allegations and so he sits down with her and he's like, listen, our relationship is really on the rocks. Our company is on the rocks. There's only one way I can save our company and our finances.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Yeah. And how do you think that is?
Pearl
He should sell to a private equity company, try to leverage the brand for licensing.
Mrs. P
He becomes a professional dj.
Pearl
Okay. She. Why? Okay, all right, stop. I. No.
Mrs. P
Do you want to get back to Erica Kirk then?
Pearl
Yeah, get. Let's.
Mrs. P
Suddenly, Erica Kirk seems like a really cool topic, doesn't it?
Pearl
Yeah, it does seem like a really great topic. And now you're gonna tell me how Erica Kirk is tied to Summerhouse?
Mrs. P
Yes.
Pearl
Okay. And you know we're gonna do that right after this because I need. I'm gonna put. I need a break. I need a minute so I can breathe and think about what you just told me because I feel fucking dumber.

We've got power tailgates to power game days and a trailer backup guide that's the champ of the ram. Heck, we might even cancel Monday Toyota trucks. Find yours@toyota.com toyota let's go places.
Pearl
All right, Mrs. P. You. Yes, we had a break.
Mrs. P
Uhhuh.
Pearl
All right. Not a break of our relationship. We just took a little break because you explained too much of Summer House to me to the point where I have so much brain damage that I am now John Federman.
Mrs. P
Okay. He has just placed a John Federman bobblehead that you got me at the thrift store.
Pearl
Yeah. You found this at a thrift store?
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And what did they say when you walked up to the counter?
Mrs. P
Well, okay, the first of all, I found it a thrift store. I took a picture of it cuz I was like, should I buy this? Am I spending $3 on this right now? And then I had to go find a book because it was the only thing and I didn't want it to be the only thing I bought because that's weird.
Pearl
I love that you treated this like buying porn.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
This is how guys when they used to buy a magazine back in the day. And like I also will grab this thing about doilies, like shampoo.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah. I so I just went over the book section, grabbed the first book I saw so that I didn't feel weird. And then the guy looked at me crazy when he rang me up and I was just like voodoo doll.
Pearl
Oh, watch this. Ready? Ready. Watch. Oh, now his brain's fixed.
Mrs. P
Okay, okay. That is staying here for the rest of the episode.
Pearl
You know what? You're right.
Mrs. P
He has bad energy.
Pearl
He does have bad energy. He has such bad energy.
Mrs. P
This is not the vibes for the
Pearl
show because here's the thing. You hurt my brain.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
By telling me that much about Summer House, so. But now you're going to reintroduce Erica Franz V. Into Summer House. Yes, because she's a character.
Mrs. P
The whole thing is she gets a part on Summer House because again, this is all scripted reality TV shows. There's like a light scripting. There are cast people that get cast onto the show. She gets cast as a love interest for a guy named Jordan. So there's one episode of this season.
Pearl
Hold on. You just told me about so many people, and the one that she was cast dating is not even involved in that whole entire story you just told me. Okay, that's. That. That's very too many tabs.
Mrs. P
So, yeah, there's like. So basically there's like a scene or two where she. They show them going out on double dates together. And he refers to her as like, oh, she's just like, really conservative or like Christian. Like, there's even a note about, like, the girl he's dating is very, like, religious or something.
Pearl
Got it.
Mrs. P
Meanwhile, she's also still holding a huge, massive cocktail.
Pearl
She's got the biggest cocktail.
Mrs. P
It's like, remember when the clubs used to do the bag with, like the big straw on it?
Pearl
No, I don't remember that.
Mrs. P
There was a moment in time. Let me hold. Let me hold your hand. There was a moment in time where the nightclubs gave us adult Capri Suns.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And it was incredible.
Pearl
I did not.
Mrs. P
I don't remember it, but there are pictures of me enjoying it.
Pearl
I did not go to those clubs. Well, I did not. I was more of a beer. I was a beer and a shot guy until White claws showed up and then discovered I have heartburn. So. But it sounds like she was cast because you said this is 2018.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah.
Pearl
It sounds like she was cast on this because they were trying to figure out how to get Summer House into the Trump conservative demographic. Because this is right around time when a lot of those shows were like, hey, we are. Our shows are reading to Lib.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
We need to figure out how we get back middle America. Oh, look, there's blonde, blue eyed Miss Arizona is here. And she's super Christian and loves Trump and is like, has her own Bible app. Sure, these idiots will gobble it up. Let's run around an episode for Inside.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Now she also, when she talks about this time when she lived in New York, she is a complete revisionist.
Pearl
Oh, I'm not shocked.
Mrs. P
She tells it like that she wasn't dating, that she didn't drink alcohol, that she was in this godless land trying to spread the word of God, blah, blah, blah. It's very. That it's. She refers to it as like, a dark city and, like, she's bringing the light of the Lord. That's so crazy. But realistically, she was just out partying wearing bandage dresses and Jessica Simpson heels.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And getting drunk and sloppy like the
Pearl
rest of us and showing feet. The. I just can. It just drives me crazy because I've seen more tenants of, like, of the sayings of Jesus Christ.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Between neighbors and cities than I ever have in small towns and rural communities. Like, the inclusivity, the accepting of strangers, the idea of good Samaritans, all of these different things that are taught in the parables of the man that she claims to follow. You see every single day in cities not only across America, but across the world. And it's only when you get into closed communities that are terrified of strangers and have xenophobia in their heart and believe that they need to protect their entire way of life from invaders, that is when you end up actually turning from the light of the Lord. I don't want to get all fucking preacher on this, but I could. And I just want to remind everybody, at any moment in time, I could turn this shit into a cult, and I choose not to. So buy our fucking merch and join us@Pearl Mania500.net all right.
Mrs. P
We're not a cult in classes.
Pearl
I am selling a class right now. Yeah. About social media. I'm teaching it at Soul Joel's in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. I'm doing it because somebody asked me to, not because I wanted to. I'm also doing Stand up there there, April 18th. And I'm doing another show inside of Philadelphia on April 26th, I believe it is. And that is a benefit show to help immigrants who've been dealing with ice. Because the. If you translate the name of the show, it actually comes out to Fuck the immigration police in Spanish. Yeah. So, yeah, there we go there. I did my plugs. I did them late enough into the show. They've all been down there in the show description this entire time.
Mrs. P
Okay, so it's 2019.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Okay. We. We've been on a reality show. Finally. We've been trying. We finally get on one. We've got our merch. We've got our app. What do we need to do?
Pearl
What do we need to do?
Mrs. P
Start a podcast. Erica Kirk releases her first podcast called Midweek Rise up, which is released every Wednesday, but also has a Monday edition called Monday Meditations.
Pearl
Oh, I hate her so much. Hold on. Just give me a second. Here. First thing, midweek. Rise up is a terrible title, Erica. And I'm gonna tell you.
Mrs. P
So Bad at naming things.
Pearl
I'm gonna tell you why. Because now you're automatically dating the show via the title.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And it's gonna make people not want to listen to it on a day that's not midweek.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Versus too many tabs. So you can listen to at all times. You know, it drops every Sunday.
Mrs. P
Driving while you're cleaning your house.
Pearl
Yeah. While. While you're.
Mrs. P
While you're. While you're breastfeeding.
Pearl
Yeah, we found that out recently. People. People who are breastfeeding. Super cool.
Mrs. P
People that are breastfeeding. Breastfeeding. Watch tmt. That's awesome.
Pearl
Listen. That's what they do.
Mrs. P
Too Many titties.
Pearl
Okay. That is.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Too Many Titties is a great name.
Mrs. P
Thank you.
Pearl
Next shirt idea. Anyway, the. The other thing, though, in general is midweek is like, you're automatically dating it, and then you're gonna have a Monday show.
Mrs. P
Yeah, well, that I don't already break in the brand.
Pearl
We're already breaking it up. That's crazy. Mutts. Beginning of the week. You're also leaving out the entire weekend, so, you know, that's just. It's just shitty.
Mrs. P
Listen, hear me out.
Pearl
And it's a motivational pod.
Mrs. P
Let me tell you how it's described, okay. By her.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Each episode is intentionally and prayerfully crafted with words of encouragement to push you biblical leadership to challenge you, and God breathes scripture to posture your heart for the best that's yet to come.
Pearl
The worst part is I feel that this was written pre AI.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Now I could at least say you got lazy and you click two boxes. No, this is what AI is.
Mrs. P
I want you to know that when I wrote this episode, over the course of a week, I used God breathed scripture, and I prayerfully and intentionally crafted the biblical leadership.
Pearl
In this episode, I want to. I can't say that I'll get demonetized.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But there's so many things that I am mad about right now. But she has a podcast.
Mrs. P
She starts a podcast.
Pearl
Okay?
Mrs. P
Now here's another thing. Okay? She's still dating boys. And I want to get back into the dating the boys because she keeps saying she's not dating boys, but I found a lot of proof she'd be dating these boys. And this is what the podcast looks like, by the way, on Spotify.
Pearl
Oh, God.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That's too many stars.
Mrs. P
She's. You know what? It does have a lot of stars. If you're listening to this podcast on Spotify.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Please go to Too many tabs on Spotify and leave us five stars and a positive review because I need my podcast to do better than this podcast.
Pearl
I'm slowly starting to realize that you are framing this entire episode about doing call to actions for other different places. And can I tell you.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
I just fell in love with you all over again. I've completely fallen in love with you all over again. You showed up like, we're talking about Erica Merch. Erica Merch. Yeah. You're like, we got new merch. I got call to actions for Apple Pod. I got this. We're going to tell people to get in the comments, then they're going to hear about these comments.
Mrs. P
Beat her at this.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
At podcasting. Okay. She is not allowed to be good at podcasting.
Pearl
I don't think she is good at podcasting.
Mrs. P
No. Look at the picture on her Spotify.
Pearl
Terrible.
Mrs. P
She looks what. How you would describe, like, the. The. Not the preacher. The pastor. The youth pastor for girls in, like, skinny jeans and she's like, got the turnaround. She's like, doing the turnaround chair. You know what I mean?
Pearl
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Mrs. P
Very. That. It's a Christian youth group energy.
Pearl
Yeah, yeah. She's very. You know what? Who else did? Yeah. It's like.
Mrs. P
You know what I mean?
Pearl
Yeah, I know.
Mrs. P
Okay. But listen, let's get away from the podcast because it's terrible and ours is way better.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Because she's still dating boys and she's still drinking alcohol and she doesn't want you to know that, but I found out a lot about dating boys and drinking alcohol with Erica Kirk. And I need to tell you about this guy she dated.
Pearl
It's weird that she wants to cover it up.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Like, it's so weird because we talked about this in prior episodes. There's a whole thing with Christian nationalists especially, they have an entire subset of like, I was a sinner and now I'm good.
Mrs. P
Yeah. And then they get baptized like a hundred times.
Pearl
Yeah, they get baptized 100 times. But, like, their whole thing is then they come out in this realm really weird way. There's any of the girls who show up in the whatever podcast. There's that one. One that was like an only fans girl that now is like, I'm a Christian. But then she was like, dancing because about kids being killed in Iran because that means the end of the world's coming. There's like a whole, like, weird thing. So the fact that she's like, no, I've always been pure. Like, that goes against the message of reform and redemption inside of Christianity.
Mrs. P
No, like, she. You know what it is? She doesn't deny it. She reframes it. It.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
A lot.
Pearl
But reframing it is a denial.
Mrs. P
Yeah. So. But she, like, she plays it down in these weird ways where she's like, no, like, I really didn't date. And, like, it's like, we have pictures.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
There is evidence.
Pearl
You had an Instagram.
Mrs. P
You were a University of Arizona party girl. We have Instagram with filters, babes. Yeah, we know what happened.
Pearl
This is why Candace hates her.
Mrs. P
Okay, listen. So she's meeting this guy named Cabot.
Pearl
Cabot, like the cheese?
Mrs. P
Yes, like the cheese.
Pearl
Like Cabot Lodge.
Mrs. P
Cabot Phillips.
Pearl
Oh, I hate him now.
Mrs. P
He works at a place called Campus Reform, which develops conservative students and young journalists into media and public policy professionals.
Pearl
Oh, God. Okay, so this is. This is part of that entire. The Ben Shapiro. What Charlie eventually does. But there was a whole thing, especially in the mid 2010s, tens of attacking schools and claiming that schools were censoring conservative thought.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And being like, it's cancel culture. It's all these different things. And these. These type of guys would go to these schools to have events. And one of their big goals at a lot of these events was beyond trying to change the campus culture was also to get shut down. So they could sue the school.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Just like the Westboro Baptist.
Pearl
Yeah. The whole thing with Westboro.
Mrs. P
The only reason they do any of that is just to get kicked out. So they can.
Pearl
Yeah, no, they. They stand outside of. When they used to stand outside of soldiers. Soldiers, funerals, and all these other things and yell a bunch of slurs. Was solely. So somebody would punch them in the face and then they could sue the town.
Mrs. P
Yeah, exactly.
Pearl
And that's how they would collect their money.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
So called lawfare.
Mrs. P
Also, he. Cabot Phillips is a senior editor at the Daily Wire, which is.
Pearl
That's Ben Shapiro.
Mrs. P
Most recently. Or no. He also served as the digital grassroots director for Marco Rubio's presidential campaign.
Pearl
We all know how that worked, so. Yeah. So 22 with 2016, Marco's campaign, where Marco said that Donald Trump had small hands and then said. You know what that means? Implying the weenie.
Mrs. P
Oh, teeny weeny, teeny weeny.
Pearl
But that's. That's crazy, because Marco Rubio famously had terrible digital comps.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Oh. Oh.
Pearl
Because he got crushed by Donald Trump's digital comms that were being run by Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein. Oh yeah, it's in the files, folks.
Mrs. P
Oh no. Nobody talks about the Files episode. I know.
Pearl
Nobody's talking about them anymore. Why? Don't know why.

Mrs. P
So Cabot is friends with this guy Charles Charlie.
Pearl
Oh I feel like we've been building towards this the whole episode.
Mrs. P
And Charlie likes to play basketball okay. So he and Cabot and Charlie, who are friendly, they. They are in the same circles together. They're. They're kind of doing the same thing in their jobs, right? And Charlie challenges him to a one on one basketball game.
Pearl
Charlie challenges Cabin.
Mrs. P
Cabin, okay? And so they have this basketball game. Charlie wins. He posts this picture on Instagram, okay, Where he says, but I also have this video where Cabot discusses that he. He lost to Charlie at basketball, but also in other ways. Let me play it for you real quick.
Cabot Phillips
I remember I met Charlie back in 2015, and this was right when Turning Point was getting off the ground. And he found out that I like to play pickup basketball and said, hey, I'm in D.C. a lot. I'm always looking for some people to play basketball with. We should play. And then before we actually got the chance to play together, Charlie said, you know what? We should do a one on one basketball game where I was with a different organization at the time. He was a Turning Point. We'll say it's Turning Point versus your group and we're going to live stream it. And I thought, this Charlie Kirk guy, how good could he actually be at basketball? I'm going to mop the floor with him. This will make me look amazing. And I showed up to play Charlie, and he beat me handily, was just draining three pointers, was backing me down in the post, and he caught me off guard. He took me by surprise. And I think he did that not just on the basketball court. He did that constantly in so many ways.
Pearl
Oh, wow. Wow.
Mrs. P
I wonder what he's talking about.
Pearl
That is. There's a lot implied in that.
Mrs. P
Yes. So in 2018, Erica Franier goes on a job interview out to get another job. This girl is out here hustling, okay? She is applying for what would be kind of like similar, like a consulting gig at a company called Turning Point usa.
Pearl
Okay?
Mrs. P
Now, she is really not. Not. The word's not qualified. Everybody knows her. So there she comes, highly recommended. That's what I'm trying to say.
Pearl
Okay, got it.
Mrs. P
She comes so highly recommended that the CEO of the company wants to directly interview her. Not the usual, like, HR interview.
Pearl
Okay?
Mrs. P
So she goes on this interview with the CEO of Turning Point usa and they have a great interview, great conversation, blah, blah. And he tells her flat out he will not hire her because he has a better business opportunity for her business. He has the role of a lifetime for her.
Pearl
Okay?
Mrs. P
He says, no, I won't hire you. I want to date you.
Pearl
That's gross.
Mrs. P
Or Is it good business management? Because he knows you shouldn't date your underling.
Pearl
I mean, there's that, but it's also like.
Mrs. P
Right, Ned from Try Guys? Anyway, she starts dating the CEO of Turning Point, Charlie Kirk.
Pearl
Yep.
Mrs. P
Who is running Turning Point usa, which by the way, is also a nonprofit. I looked it up. It's a 513C and makes approximately $85 million a year. Untaxed.
Pearl
85 million a year.
Mrs. P
Untaxed.
Pearl
85 million a year. As a non profit. Yeah, they're non profit. 85 million a year.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And a lot of that's donor money and then merch sales and then ticket sales and then more donor money.
Mrs. P
Yep.
Pearl
And that donor money is small dollar
Mrs. P
and big dollar and big dollar.
Pearl
Because billionaires give money to groups like Turning Point. And then little old ladies and grandpas also give money to Turning Point. And then churches give money to Turning Point.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And then private schools.
Mrs. P
Everybody give money to Turning Point.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And then Charlie, ticket of money.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Okay, now this another thing that's crazy is when they start dating. Right. Eric is 30.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
Charlie Kirk is 25.
Pearl
Oh, she's robbing the cradle.
Mrs. P
Wow. But also, here's a clip of Charlie Kirk saying that women at age 30 are past their prime.
Pearl
We've basically told a great generation of young women, don't get married, don't have kids, go get a corporate job. And it's created mass political hysteria. And then in their early 30s, they get really upset because they say, you know, the boys don't want to date me anymore because they're not at their prime. And people get mad when I say that was just true. If you're in your early 30s. I'm sorry, it's like you're not as attractive in the dating pool as you were in the early 20s. But again, you have your corporate job and cats. So I thought you, you know, that's a fucked up thing to say about your wife.
Mrs. P
No, dude, that's fucked up things say about your wife. I need you to know that if I was sitting in a job interview, like, I would never apply to work attorney. But if I was at a job interview and the CEO of the company was 25 and I'm older than him. Yeah, babe. No way. No way am I taking you seriously. You're a child. You don't 25. You don't even have the frontal lobe development yet.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And you're going to tell me what to do. You and then you're going to say, oh, I'm not going to Hire you. I want to date you. Oh, my God.
Pearl
I've worked in places where they've, like, replaced my manager with someone two years younger than me, and then I immediately quit.
Mrs. P
Yeah, you're like, no, can't do it.
Pearl
I can't do it. But I'm sorry, you don't have a 911 memory.
Mrs. P
So they get engaged in December of 2020.
Pearl
What a time. Yeah.
Mrs. P
Dude.
Pearl
Wait, so they've only been dating, like, under two years now?
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
So they've been together under two years. Covid hits.
Mrs. P
They were. I think they're dating for a year because when I was doing the Summer house research.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
She filmed Summer House in 2018. In 2019, it goes live. And then in 2019, Ish is when she meets him. So I think it's less than a year.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
They get engaged.
Pearl
So this is a. This is a quickie. Well, there's also probably. There's also probably that weird feeling, too, around Covet, because a lot of people jumped on a lot of different things because a lot of people felt the encroachment of mortality during that time for the first time in their lives.
Mrs. P
Just bought a lot of bird feeders.
Pearl
Yeah. Cuz I mean, here's the thing. I was like, I known since I was born that I'm going to die. There's a lot of people who don't think about it.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Like, if you're listening to this podcast, if you're watching this podcast, you will die someday. I just want you to understand that it's not going to happen right now.
Mrs. P
Not during this podcast. We don't want people processing the end of life during the podcast. We're talking about Erica Kirk. Okay.
Pearl
All right.
Mrs. P
And okay, okay, listen. So they get married in the spring of 2021.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
So I'm saying engaged, December, married by spring. Quick.
Pearl
That's quick. Maybe. Maybe. Suspicious. Hold on.
Mrs. P
Hit the Candace music D. No, no, no, no, no.
Pearl
Suspicious.
Mrs. P
They have a mask. Free wedding, obviously.
Pearl
Oh, yeah. Because this is. This is also 2021. Spring of 2021. So, like, the vax isn't around that much.
Mrs. P
Yeah, but I only. I only could find some pictures of the reception, and there were no ma. Masks to be seen.
Pearl
Oh, of course there were no masks. Because this is by the point when masks have been politicized. Yeah, by this point. Massive and political.
Mrs. P
Charlie Kirk.
Pearl
By Charlie Kirk and other people. Because they're trying to make it. Because at this point, he's also. Donald Trump was no longer president. Yep. This is post January 6th and so a lot of them are now thrashing and trying to figure out, like, where we go from here.
Mrs. P
Where can we create an enemy?
Pearl
Where can we create an enemy? And so they decided to make it the vaccine and mass and just, you know, trying to survive in general.
Mrs. P
So let me tell you something crazy. I found out when I was looking into this wedding.
Pearl
Yeah, okay.
Mrs. P
Because I was like, let me. What's she wearing? Sparkles. Of course.
Pearl
Of course.
Mrs. P
Sequins and tassels. It's a lot of the tassels. Okay. So Turning Point USA paid for their wedding reception.
Pearl
What?
Mrs. P
Yes. Turning Point USA sponsored in air quotes, Kirk's wedding reception at the Fairmount Sky Scottsdale Princess Luxury Hotel.
Pearl
I hate the name Princess Luxury Hotel. Makes. That just drove me insane.
Mrs. P
The event was billed as the organization's ninth anniversary and a fundraiser.
Pearl
Oh, my God.
Mrs. P
And so because it was the ninth anniversary on fundraiser, they could write it the off. And then I looked into the hotel because I was like, what the is the fairness?
Pearl
He could have waited and done it for the 10.
Mrs. P
10th.
Pearl
He could have waited, done it for the 10th. He had to rush it right enough. That's crazy.
Mrs. P
So I looked at the hotel, and this is based on an estimate and an approximation from my general knowledge of working at hotels, restaurants, and in the wedding industry for years. This wedding no doubt started at 90K.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
This is a huge, expensive wedding.
Pearl
Yeah, yeah.
Mrs. P
And they were like, write it off six figures.
Pearl
So we're looking probably. You're saying 90 to be conservative. I know what I'm saying. You're saying 90 to be conservative.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But also, having worked in weddings, how everything gets bumped up. And on top of that, Haver was exp. No expense. It's my wedding. It's the only time I'll ever have one. Sure, Erica.
Mrs. P
And if you got to write it off.
Pearl
Get to write it off. And there's no numbers matter, nothing table, flavor, beyond. But with that being said, shrimp bar. It's probably a six. Six figure wedding.
Mrs. P
Oh, for sure.
Pearl
It's a six figure wedding. And on top of that, I want you guys to keep in mind this is just the reception, which means they spent. Spent six figures for what probably was four to six hours.
Mrs. P
Allegedly. We don't know.
Pearl
Yeah, this is.
Mrs. P
But not getting me on the little.
Pearl
But. But a wedding is four to six hours. Yeah, listen, she has bigger people to sue than us, okay? She has much bigger. Who are saying much crazier.
Mrs. P
Well, I have tried very hard not to get a cease and desist this episode.
Pearl
You. You can try all you want. All right, she has. Listen, they have 85 million a year from Turning Point coming in. And that's not even counting all of the offshoots of Turning Point. That's not even counting the fact that Turning Point really recently got TikTok and meta money.
Mrs. P
What?
Pearl
Yeah, there was. I think it might have been for the Charlie Kirk rally that self. Like it was sponsored by like all these major corporations because again, they were trying to get on Trump's good side and they're looking around like, who is the Trump whisperer at Starting Point? And so like they're getting money from organizations that a lot of y' all use every single day who are now cutting these things off because giving mind to sign, like Turning Point or Turning Point Faith or one of these other ones is at this point a lobby. It's lobbying. If you lobby Turning Point, Turning Point, then in these conventions are lobbying the base for to then make tweets to send at Trump and other conservatives. Yeah, you no longer just lobby, just the politician. You lobby the politicians base.
Mrs. P
So they buy a huge house after they get married. It's not a house, it's a mansion. Of course, in Arizona. It's got six beds, six baths, three fireplace, a bar, which is crazy because both of them say they don't drink. A three car garage, a guest house. And this is what shocked me. A heated pool.
Pearl
You don't need that in Arizona.
Mrs. P
Why would you need a heated pool in Arizona?
Pearl
You don't need a heated pool. It's hot.
Mrs. P
You guys barely have water.
Pearl
I went to Arizona when I got stuck in an airplane airport in 2024. I was in Arizona and they had a pool at the Airport Hilton.
Mrs. P
Oh, I remember this.
Pearl
And I jumped in it. And I have never jumped. I've been in hot tubs. Yeah. This water was somehow hotter than a hot tub. Yeah. It was the grossest I've ever felt. I've. I don't think my hair ever recovered. No, because it was just so bad.
Mrs. P
You had a deep treatment of chlorine that day.
Pearl
It was the weirdest feeling. And the bugs looked like they were boiled. It had boiled bugs in it. And I was like, this is just how the water is.
Mrs. P
Bug soup.
Pearl
It was bug soup.
Mrs. P
Bug soup. Okay. So they have two kids now. When I was looking into this. The kid thing.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
I have to say there is only one thing Erica Kirk and I agree
Pearl
on in this world, apparently, the Noah ARCS sweatshirt.
Mrs. P
Okay. The Noah is really funny, but I don't think she thinks it's as funny as I think it's funny.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
She thinks it's very like. Like she thinks she's owning the libs.
Pearl
Oh, she, like, got you on this one.
Mrs. P
And then I just think it's so funny because it's so dumb.
Pearl
Yeah, got it.
Mrs. P
No, she, Erica and Charlie Kirk have never, I guess, said their children's names online, and they never show their kids faces online.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
And I. I'm like, listen, we agree. We agree to this.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Children can consent to being online. I'm like, I. As I was compiling this list of this awful woman, I was like, hey, hey, look at that. A little bit of common sense.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Who knew?
Pearl
Well, to be fair, they are friends with people like Libs of TikTok who don't mind targeting children. They are friends with Donald Trump, who doesn't mind targeting children. They are working with Steve Bannon, who doesn't mind targeting children, alongside of Jeffrey fucking Epstein. They are like part of a culture of people that don't mind using the lives of children as weapons and also as shields. So, like. Yeah, I mean, honestly, the way the Internet has changed over the years, not showing your kids face online or like, trying to shield them as best as you can is really, really good, but fuck them, because they're part of the reason why you have to do that, and they're part of the culture of the reason why you have to do that. Like, they've created all these things into culture wars where people's families are no longer a thing that they can, like, have and cherish and hold. They're actually just liabilities that can be wielded and weaponized against. Against you.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
So, yeah, agree, but you.
Mrs. P
Yeah, agree, but you.
Pearl
Yeah. So because you've made a worse world for all of our kids. Your kids and our kid. Yeah, Erica.
Mrs. P
So after they get married and they have their family in their mansion, she becomes a very stereotypical wife.
Pearl
It's also. But it's real fast. It's an incredibly expensive mansion. I remember one looking up at one point, they sold it for like $30 million or something like that.
Mrs. P
Yeah. There's a whole other. What's it called? Conspiracy about the mansion.
Pearl
Oh, really?
Mrs. P
I started. It's. It's crazy because, like, I looked at the mansion and they bought it for like, yeah, like 45 million, but then they sold it nine months later for like 50 something million. And everybody was like, this is the thing is because there's so much conspiracy theories about them right now, it's like everybody's making up Lore and dissecting things. So it's like so hard to get through the rubble of conspiracy that, like, the mansion situation is like, they bought it and then they sold it pretty quickly in my mind, like less than a year's, but pretty fast to sell a house after you move all your in. But they owned another condo. They owned another farmhouse. But like, all the conspiracy people, like, they were living separate lives. They were about to get divorced. He was living in the condo, and she was at the house with the kids because they hated each other. It was a lavender marriage, allegedly. Like, yeah, there's all this conspiracy right now. So, like, when I was trying to find real information about the house and the sale, it. It littered. It's like you can't get through it to find the truth.
Pearl
The. That that was one of the things that drove me crazy when there's been attacks on content creators and influencers and stuff like that, especially in the political sphere, about people bringing up, like, the money. Especially on the left. Right. And people bring it up. And I've always, always, always just looked at a guy like Charlie and the amount on the right. They shower these fuckers with money.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And on the left, unapologetically. Unapologetically. And on the left, it's like if somebody like, gets a sandwich paid for, then people are like, you're being influenced by this.
Mrs. P
They give you a business class flight.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And they're like, oh, my God. And it's like, well, the one that
Pearl
one, I got attacked for a long time myself was when I flew the dnc. I flew. I paid to fly the dnc. I use American Airlines pretty regularly. They. American Airlines gave me a free upgrade.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And so I was like, yeah, I'll take it. Free upgrade. Awesome. So I'm sitting in first class. Somebody then went out and was like, I saw Pearl Mania sitting first class on his way to the dnc. The Democrats are paying him. I was like, no, I got a free upgrade.
Mrs. P
No, dude.
Pearl
I opened the app and they're like, we oversold this flight and there's one seat available and it's in first class. And you're a frequent flyer. Boom. And I was like, oh, awesome.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Like, it's just. Has been. It's just a annoyance. But then, like, Charlie Kirk is having his wedding paid for by a billionaire. Ben Shapiro is, like, being paid for by Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mrs. P
Every Monday, the ball guy gets money from Russia.
Pearl
Tim Pool. Tim Pool is getting all that fun. All these guys are making on the right. Get to make all of this money in these fucking insane ways. And I'm not saying that I want to make money in those insane ways. I just look at the dichotomy of the two and I'm like, you're. You're removing ammo for one side to be able to do anything. Yeah. Because if somebody has to sit there and they're fighting every single week to make rent, then eventually they're gonna get captured by something. It's either gonna be their comment section, it's going to be someone else coming in a specific brand. Deal. Deal. It's going to be something that's going to end up changing their politics in a way that you can't fucking imagine.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And this is just like when I'm looking at the strategy and logistics of it all, it just gets fucking weird. But that's a completely separate thing.
Mrs. P
I just want different.
Pearl
I just wanted to just throw it in there. Because that's what drove me crazy when I found out that his mansion was like $35 million.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Because I was like, what are we talking about? Soup?
Mrs. P
All right, so, okay, now they're married. She's stereotypical wife. Raising the kids is. Here's the thing, though. She starts school online again. Liberty University. This time she's studying to get her doctorate in biblical studies because she's bored.
Pearl
She's just bored at this point. He's taken a stallion from the field and he put her in a paddock.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And then she's like, well, I guess I'll learn about Ruth from the Bible. Liberty University online course is also crazy. So you could be that rich. Rich. Yeah, she's that rich. And they're so rich, actually, that, like, they could have moved to Virginia. They could have won. Been and lived by Liberty University.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Arguably. Might have been easier for them when it comes to the travel and everything. For him wanting to go to D.C. and all that different stuff. Could have done that. But now she gotta stay home with the kids.
Mrs. P
No, she loves Arizona, dude. She loves that dry.
Pearl
She's an Arizonan through.
Mrs. P
She loves that dry heat. So Ohio could never contain her. It's. It's funny because I, in my. When I was reading about her going back for this doctorate in biblical study is crazy to me because she already got her Mrs. Degree.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
And I have a clip of Charlie Kirk telling a teenager that the only reason to go to college is to find a husband and get your Mrs. Degree.
Pearl
There is an argument to bring back the Mrs. Degree and. No, seriously. And just be clear, that's why you're going to college, right? Don't lie to yourself. Like, don't. Like, I'm going, I'm studying sociology. No, you're not. We know why you're here. And that's okay. Okay. Actually. And that's a really good reason to go to college, actually.
Mrs. P
And so like, why would this husband who is steering the family because that's the whole thing is like, yeah, he's the leader. He's the patriarch of the family. Why would her husband be like, yeah, go back to get more degrees. You already got the biggest degree.
Pearl
Yeah. And also you're getting a biblical degree so you can preach the word of God, but the word of God inside the Bible says that women shouldn't be heard until Timothy. So like I'm just like throwing out there.
Mrs. P
Yeah. So Charlie Kirk dies in a school shooting and there's a lot of fallout around that. And then Erica Kirk.
Pearl
Wait, that's how you're framing it? That's how, that's, that's how you're just framing the whole thing.
Mrs. P
What do you mean? That's what happened?
Pearl
He died in a school shooting.

Mrs. P
How am I wrong? So Erica Kirk is thrown into the spot. This is an Erica Kirk episode.
Pearl
Okay. Okay.
Mrs. P
So Erica Kirk is thrown into the spotlight like never before. And baby, she is grieving.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Okay. And by that I mean she's Preparing for the five stages of grief.
Pearl
Okay.
Mrs. P
A 30 inch human hair, sew in sequin blazers, smokey eyes, pyrotechnics. And fighting with Candace Owens.
Pearl
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And let's not forget the six one, an interview with Barry Weiss.
Mrs. P
Whoa.
Pearl
That's really the thing that did her in. That's really the thing. I honestly, out of everything that Barry Weiss interview with as part of the fighting with Candace.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Anything you want to say to them? Stop. That's what Drew nailed it, dude. Stop.
Mrs. P
Wow. Stop. Wow. I can't stop as good as you. Wow. Your eyes are scary.
Pearl
I need a mascara for it. So I need to get JD Vance level mascara. That's the other thing.
Mrs. P
Let me. You are so weird about your eyes.
Pearl
I don't like being touched. I don't like being that close to my eyes. I don't like not like in my eyes. It's like my eyes and my neck. Those are the two areas I'm like, don't do it. So the, the thing is too is she has Tammy Faye Baker makeup.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Like she has that classic evangelical makeup. It is. It's just so bad. And the thing is, is like the staring, that's what Drew Ski made fun of her. The turning. This is the one thing I want to say too about Erica is since she has become front and center.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Of everything. There's so many people can make fun of her so easily and so quickly.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And it really is. Is because her look, unlike Charlie's, is honestly it's iconic and it sticks out big blonde hair. The, the mascara around the eyes. Like that's why like everyone's like Drew Ski could have just been any woman. Yeah. Oh, and the suits, the pantsuits.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah.
Pearl
But the second he put on the white jacket, the big blonde hair and the, the, the eyes, the smoky eye, everyone's like Erica and the cross. Erica. But. And you look a little bit closer. You like remove the, the eye. That's Carolyn. Leave it. Yep. When you change, there's little tweaks you can make here and there. And it's just the same because they're all these maga Christian nationalists are all just the same. They're all just trying to be photocopies of each other. And that's why I want to point out that there has been before Drewski had this big blow up up drag queens like Turning Point at USA Gay was a big one that's been around. There's been so many clips of them going stop and so good. And the other one is a friend of mine, Lisandra Comedy.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
Oh, yeah, yeah. And Lisandra, which we'll link down below. Lisandra does amazing impersonations of Erica Kirk, of Carolyn Leave It. Of Kristi Noem and others.
Mrs. P
Oh my God. Yesterday on her Instagram stories. She was on a flight yesterday going somewhere.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
When those pictures of Kristi Gnomes husband leaving leaked and she was like, I think that like right before the plane took off, she was like, Jesus Christ, where are the wigs? When does this plane land? Yeah, I'm gonna film.
Pearl
Oh. And she nailed it. She nailed it. And she worked with another content creator and they, they walking in of just the fake. The fact that they're cockeyed bimbo boobs is crazy.
Mrs. P
I love it.
Pearl
It's so.
Mrs. P
I love that he's in the bimbo culture.
Pearl
I, well, here's the thing. I. It's. It fits in. It fits in with all these people. It's the same thing with, with Erica. All these people, they all secretly love the things that they're shaming, which is the reason why they're so good. They're all fallen fans. Yep. Christy Gnomes husband, who's into a bimbification fetish, who loves putting on big fake titties is the same as Erica Kirk. Loving to go out on a night of town, put on her street wear and go get hammered and meet a boy.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But then she loves to sit there and tell you you shouldn't do that thing. I love.
Mrs. P
Yeah. That's going to you hold on to that thought, because that's going to come up. So, okay, so she gets. She's grieving, right? She gives her kids to a sitter, and she goes on tour, babe.
Pearl
Yes, she does.
Mrs. P
She's gonna sell some seats and some books because our girl is finally famous.
Pearl
She is.
Mrs. P
She's finally famous.
Pearl
She's been working this whole life, this whole episode. She's been trying to be front and center.
Mrs. P
And she was like, if I could just get. And I think maybe she gave up a little. Little. She was like, I'm gonna meet. I'm gonna marry this guy. I'm gonna live rich. It'll be good enough. I can give up my dream.
Pearl
That's how it happens.
Mrs. P
And then she saw.
Pearl
That's how it happened to me.
Mrs. P
What do you mean?
Pearl
I gave up doing stand up.
Mrs. P
Oh, right.
Pearl
And then one day, I screamed into my phone. Everyone's like, this guy's really funny. We should let him do stand up. I was like, yeah, I was out. You pulled me back in.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
But, yeah, so she's out there. She's. What book is she selling?
Mrs. P
Oh, okay. So apparently, when. Before Charlie Kirk passed away, he wrote a book called Stop in the Name of God. And apparently.
Pearl
Just wait, just give me a second.
Mrs. P
Okay.
Pearl
Stop in the name of God. I think that is legit from Sister Act.
Mrs. P
That's a real song. That's not just.
Pearl
No, I know, but I think they was in Sister act, remember? Because they took Motown songs and Sister act and they changed some certain lyrics in the comments. Yeah, but also. Also, Stop, stop in the name of God.
Mrs. P
So she's selling this book that he wrote before he passed away. Huh? I looked at the book.
Pearl
This is how cults work.
Mrs. P
The summary of the book is basically that, like, just do nothing one day a week. Because it's all about the Sabbath. Honoring the Sabbath, honoring the Sabbath, and, like, not doing something for a day. And I was like, babe, I've been doing that. It's called Do Nothing Sundays. I don't do anything on Sundays. Turn off your phone. Live your life. And I was like, I don't need to read a book. Also, when you bought the book for, like, 40 bucks, you got a free hat.
Pearl
So can I say something? Because I've heard about this. This book in particular.
Mrs. P
Oh, okay.
Pearl
First thing, it was very Courtney Love, her being like, oh. Because, like, when Courtney Love sold Kurt Cobain's diary. Yeah, it feels a little bit like that. Also, what I said, like, about cults, there's this thing that happens around Cults in certain religions, where suddenly people find writings about what the person. I'm not saying she did that. That. But it feels that way of suddenly there's poss. And actually, recently there's been all these people who keep posting screenshots of. The last text Charlie ever sent me was that I was right about everything and he wished more people would follow me. It's like, yeah, sure, buddy, whatever. Yeah, right. There's that. But the other part of it is what the book is about. And I heard about this one a little bit, and it was. Charlie Kirk was this deal about respecting the Sabbath and a few people. Because it was from that Barry Weiss interview.
Mrs. P
Yeah, yeah.
Pearl
Where she said when Charlie would come home on Saturdays or Sundays, whatever day it was, he was like, that day is for me and you and the kids. And he'd walk in, he'd take his phone and he'd put it in a drawer, and he said these following words. Shabbat shalom. And he put the drawer, the phone in the drawer. Now, this became a thing with conspiracy theorists where they believe that. That Erica Kirk was being paid by Israel to push a pro Israel message. Because blah, blah, blah, it doesn't matter. It's all very complicated. But the thing is, is I think that Charlie Kirk was such a thing. The term we discovered on this show. A Philo Semite.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Who somebody who believed in, like, was so. Thought he was being pro Jewish and he was doing a Columbusing where he was like, I'm gonna take the Sabbath and I'm gonna take these Jew ideas and I'm gonna make them. I'm gonna be able to sell them to, like, the people in the middle of the country, basically. Yeah, yeah. It's like the egg roll store. Right. It's that same different idea. We're going to put buffalo in the egg rolls. Right.
Mrs. P
Listen, I am. I want to try the egg roll store. Recently, they opened an egg roll store near us. It says, like, all kinds of types of egg rolls.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
It's just two Caucasians running an egg roll store.
Pearl
It feels very weird.
Mrs. P
A lot of questions.
Pearl
Yeah, it feels.
Mrs. P
I need to get in there. I need to figure it out. Yeah.
Pearl
So Charlie Kirk is doing basically a Judeo Christian fusion move here. And he's like trying to explain, saying basically seventh Day Adventism.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
To. To Catholics and to Protestants, mainly evangelicals is who he's targeting inside of this. In this story. What he was telling is a thing that I actually agree with, which you and I actually deal with, because we have Such non traditional jobs working as podcasters and content creators and others. Which is when I'm with the kid, I'm with the kid.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And at the minimum, it has to be a certain amount of time for us. It's after. When our son comes home from daycare. I have to be present during dinner. I need to be present during dinner. I can't be looking at my phone while he's eating. Because we need to be living a world where we're making eye contact with them at bath time and when it. When it's bedtime. These things. Sure. Do meetings come up? These other different things come up. Yeah. But it was also creating a calendar when it comes to all the people in our life and going, no, at these times, this is baby time. This is the time for pro babia. This is family time. These are all these other things.
Mrs. P
Things.
Pearl
And this is really what that is. And he's making it sound like this. This groundbreaking idea. And she clearly is so bad at selling it.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
That it turned into a fucking conspiracy theory because she's so goddamn stupid. And this is the whole thing is she doesn't just like JD Vance when it comes to Trump, Erica doesn't have the Charlie juice. And the Charlie juice was that Charlie would get out there and fucking eat shit for 10 swings. And on the 11th, he'd hit a home run, and that would be the clip that he would run over and over and over and over again.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And that's why people thought that he did so good when he really didn't. He ate constantly.
Mrs. P
Yeah. This is an Erica Kirk.
Pearl
It is. I just wanted to bring that in.
Mrs. P
So she's on this grief Tink tour and there's gonna be a couple missteps.
Pearl
Yeah. As we just mentioned, a few.
Mrs. P
One of the biggest missteps is this waging a war with Candace Owens, which she is currently losing big time.
Pearl
Oh, huge.
Mrs. P
She miscalculated the straight of hag moves like nobody's business. I really enjoyed writing that.
Pearl
I. That's a good line.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Thank you. No. So this is to the point where all of the research I did for this episode has been tainted by Candace Owens. When I went to that music video when I was like, oh, she was a music video.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
It's got like 2 million views that it's gotten in the last two months. And all the comments say, I'm here from Candace. I stopped watching Candace to come here.
Pearl
I was wondering. Because it had had millions of views, but only like 9,000 likes.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Because it was A failed music video. It was big in Canada.
Mrs. P
So, like, there. Candace Owens is currently, like, clobbering her on social.
Pearl
Just poison.
Mrs. P
The data set increasing so much. Like, every. To every, like, Reddit page, every website. Everywhere I went, there was Candace Owens. People in every comment section. So it was so hard to distill down to the real information of what happened, because Candace owns the narrative right now.
Pearl
Yes.
Mrs. P
Candace is the storyteller. And Erica is just a character in her own life right now.
Pearl
She's not even the main character.
Mrs. P
Crazy in her own life, because all she ever wanted it to be is a reality show on a lightly scripted show. And Candace is writing the script. Dude.
Pearl
So crazy.
Mrs. P
I'm telling you.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
So also, she becomes the CEO of Turning Point usa.
Pearl
Yeah. Which is part of the conspiracies that Candace.
Mrs. P
I mean, that's. It doesn't usually happen that, like, the spouse would be automatic.
Pearl
I'm sure Charlie had it written in some sort of weird way.
Mrs. P
You. Like, I think any other company, if the CEO of the company passes away, the board of directors would then figure out who the new CEO was in term was.
Pearl
Yeah.
Mrs. P
Until one could be duly elected, it wouldn't be the spouse. Like, you. You have to think of any other company. Like, if the head of Campbell Soup passed away, they wouldn't look at his wife Mary and be like, you're in charge now. No, the. The board of directors would have to get together. They'd find someone to hold it in term, and then they would elect and have in job interviews people that are like, like, qualified to run this huge nonprofit company.
Pearl
Because she's not qualified. No, she's not qualified at all. And every leak that comes out shows it in that sort of way. And it's not. But here's the thing.
Mrs. P
But.
Pearl
But that's not her fault.
Mrs. P
I'm not all mad at her about it.
Pearl
No, no.
Mrs. P
But I mean, like, she was just like, nah, I'm in charge now. And nobody is standing up to her about it. Yeah, like, she's just like, no, I'm in charge now. I got this seat. She's up there hugging the vice president.
Pearl
Awkwardly, awkwardly.
Mrs. P
She's up there giving Usha Vance these eyes. Guys, stop. You know what I mean? Like, nobody's messing with her about it.
Pearl
Yeah. Okay, well, Candace is. Well, yeah, Candace is.
Mrs. P
Don't make me be on Candace side here.
Pearl
This is the thing.
Mrs. P
But I'm not on anybody's side. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Pearl
No, but that's the thing is, like, that's also not great logistics, the way things are working. Cuz Candace turns on everyone. Because Candace used to work with Ben Shapiro and then she's enemies with Ben Shapiro. Candace used to work with Charlie Kirk.
Mrs. P
Kirk. Yeah.
Pearl
And was clearly close friends. I think, honestly, I mean, my conspiracy,
Mrs. P
though, I'm just making this noise because I'm not getting sued by her either.
Pearl
Well, no, but this is my conspiracy.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
About Charlie. I think that Charlie was probably. Probably like more bi than people expect. And I think that when he was with Candace, it was like, you know, a little bit of a. Like, I think this was more of a lavender marriage.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Him and Erica, I think they did have kids. I think they are his kids. Yeah. I don't think that she cheated on him or any of those different type of stuff. Stuff. But I think that there was like. I think that when he was with Candace, it was, you know, it's two. Two bitches just saying. Exactly. Back and forth forever. Every Kanye. Yeah. And every text they released together. All these different things. I think that Charlie had a better idea of where the culture was, where it was going, all these different things. And he met, you know, he met Erica and he was like, here is somebody who will be not a problem for me. You know, I think that was the one thing is. It was.
Mrs. P
He looked at it. He had a job interview, and he was like, this is. It's a job interview.
Pearl
Yeah, no, exactly. But you know, it is. It's like when Tom Cruise and Scientology. Girlfriends and wives and like that.
Mrs. P
Yes, yes, yes.
Pearl
Erica Kirk was the. Was the Tom Cruise Scientology?
Mrs. P
Cut to Nicole Kidman getting out of that divorce. Baby.
Pearl
Exactly. But I'm saying, like, that's just. That's what this whole thing is, is she was supposed to just be there with the kids, and when he needed her to stand next to him at a podium holding two blonde children, he had that. Yeah. And that was all being set up for potentially maybe a presidential run someday or a Senate run or something like that, where if he wanted to give up power, he could go into politics.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Because he was at a point. There was a point there with Charlie where he was like. And it's especially since his assassination, where he clearly was. What's the word I'm looking for? Not a retaining wall. What's the thing in a building you're not supposed to take down?
Mrs. P
The keystone.
Pearl
Yeah. Keystone is part of it, in the arch. But also, you know, when like, you're remodeling a kitchen and like, don't knock that wall Down.
Mrs. P
Yeah. Retaining walls.
Pearl
No retaining walls when you're holding the dirt back. But, yeah, he was definitely the wall. Get in the comments and tell me which one I'm missing here. He's definitely that one pillar that was holding up a lot of things. And now that he's gone, everything is sagging and it's about to hit the bottom.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And the whole.
Mrs. P
And the landlord is not coming to fix it.
Pearl
He's not. Because his name is Donald Trump and he has no idea where the he is.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
And he's a.
Mrs. P
You know, one of the first things she did as CEO of Turning Point was hire a gentleman named Cabot Phillips to go on a college tour called the Lead Like Charlie tour. Here's a picture.
Pearl
Erica Kirk hired her ex boyfriend, who Charlie Kirk, stole her from Lead Like Charlie and then basically makes him wear a Charlie suit.
Mrs. P
Yep. So recently, what started this whole episode, a comedian named Drew Ski made fun of her or made fun of all conservative women, really. Because it was how conservative women in America act.
Pearl
Yes.
Mrs. P
That's what he titled it. It wasn't how Erica Kirk acts.
Pearl
Yes. And she's clearly the archetype.
Mrs. P
Lambasted.
Pearl
Yes.
Mrs. P
Is what I'm gonna say on that one. And the Internet is not taking it well. The. The conservative Internet, they're taking it very personal. Personal attack. And a lot of it is like, well, if he can do white face, we should be able to do blackface.
Pearl
Nope.
Mrs. P
And Jamie Kennedy, literally unstoppable in that one. Posted it himself. Weirdo. But I did want to just, like, take a minute to kind of briefly jump into the history of blackface so that people might understand why you are not supposed to do it. And it's not okay. Because all I keep seeing in the comments section is people being like, well, if he can do whiteface, we should be allowed to do blackface.
Pearl
No. Okay.
Mrs. P
Full stop. And I think we just need a quick history lesson, because this is a comedy history podcast, and we need to add some history. We need a little history on this,
Pearl
which we've been doing the history of Erica Kirk. But now.
Mrs. P
Now.
Pearl
Okay. Erica Kirk ends with the history of blackface. Okay.
Mrs. P
Yeah, got it. That checks out, right? Makes sense.
Pearl
Honestly, for this show. For this show.
Mrs. P
Too many tabs.
Pearl
You got tabbed. Tell me the history of blackface.
Mrs. P
The first minstrel shows were performed in 1830s New York by white performers with blackened faces, mostly using burnt cork or shoe polish. They would wear tattered clothing to imitate enslaved Africans or that were living on Southern plantations. These performances Were characterized would characterize black people as lazy, ignorant, superstitious, hypersexual and prone to thievery and cowardice. Thomas Dartmouth Rice was known as the father of Minstrel. Minstrel Lee. Minstrel with a Y at the end.
Pearl
He developed Minstrel Lee.
Mrs. P
Yeah, it's hard to say. Developed the first popular known blackface character named Jim Crow in 1830.
Pearl
And this is in New York.
Mrs. P
Yes. So.
Pearl
So this actually starts in New York.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Then spreads to the south, then comes back to New York.
Mrs. P
Yes. Blackface is a historically racist practice where white performers darken their skin to mock and dehumanize African Americans. White face usually refers to white theatrical makeup used by clowns.
Pearl
Yes. Like the woke.
Mrs. P
No.
Pearl
Well, he's been held back for a very long time.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
He wants to come out. Wants to come out, folks.
Mrs. P
No, no.
Pearl
The. The biggest difference when looking at these different things again, it's when we're talking about all racism, there's the object of power, there's the object of mockery. And the thing is, is when Drew Ski puts on whiteface or. Or when the Wayans brothers did White Face.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
For white girls.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Or when Eddie Murphy did all these other different things you never see. Or even Dave Chappelle. Yeah. You don't see them as making fun of really all whites. You see them as making fun of a specific person.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Or a specific genre with blackface. Like if you. The Jamie Kennedy clip that he posted, he immediately is doing an accent. He's immediately playing it up as the character is somehow dumber and that just inherently by having darker skin, that there's somehow they are stupid or evil or. Or over sexualized a lot of times, all these different things. And I think in this case with the Drew Ski thing, he is really pointing out the hypocrisy of everything talked about. This week on Crashing Out. This was part of the Drew Ski skit, is part of a series of skits that he's been doing about the hypocrisy around religion, especially mega church religions of the sacrifice South.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
Where he has a whole line in there about how you're asking why I'm wearing Christian Dior and wearing Christian Louboutins. Because I'm a Christian and I walk in the blood of Christ and he shows the bottom of his red shoes. This is part of all of those types of different things. And the fact that immediately, just like when there's debates around the N word, that immediately conservatives and Nazis and all these other people, the second they see it, they immediately go, oh, well, then I. I should be allowed to do this horrible thing that was used to do in the past. Yeah, that says a lot. Yeah, it says a lot real fast.
Mrs. P
So what's Erica Kirk up to now?
Pearl
I don't know. What?
Mrs. P
Okay, so recently President Donald Trump appointed Erica Kirk to the United States Air Force Academy Board of Visitors, which I said, I don't know what the that is. So I looked it up. The US Air Force Academy Board of Visitors is established to inquire into the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, and fiscal affairs of matters relating to the academy. The Air Force Academy, which the board decides and makes considerations on.
Pearl
So Erica Kirk is basically on the PTA board for the Air Force. Yes, the Parent Teacher association of the Air Force. While the Air Force is arguably at their most important moment in the history of the organization.
Mrs. P
Yeah.
Pearl
In the middle of a war that he said he was never going to start that was only supposed to last three days. That we've now enter month two on.
Mrs. P
Yeah, Erica this Arizona, USA 2012.
Pearl
From Summer House. From Summer House is currently one of the people overseeing the fiscal responsibility of the Tomahawk missiles that were 365 app creator. Well,
Mrs. P
well, folks. Listen, everybody. Have a great week.
Pearl

Mrs. P

Episode 171: EXPOSED: The INSANE lore of Erika Kirk
Date: April 5, 2026
In this lively and sharply satirical episode, husband-and-wife duo Pearl and Mrs. P dive deep into the "insane lore" of Erika Kirk (née Erika Frantzve): from her privileged upbringing and minor public achievements to her transformation into the wife (then widow) of far-right provocateur Charlie Kirk and CEO of Turning Point USA. In their signature format—equal parts irreverent research dump, pop culture analysis, and affectionate bickering—the hosts expose the strange world that shaped Erika, examine the hypocrisy and spectacle surrounding right-wing celebrity "influencers," and connect the dots between reality TV, Christian apps, streetwear “ministries,” and partisan power moves. Along the way, they dish out pointed commentary on the culture wars, right-wing nonprofit grifts, and the current feud between Erika and Candace Owens.
