1. **Pray Regularly**: Make prayer a habit, seeking God’s guidance in every aspect of your life, not just in crises.
2. **Reflect on Past Experiences**: Just as the Israelites learned from their victories and defeats, reflect on your experiences to inform future decisions.
3. **Surround Yourself with Wise Counsel**: Seek advice from those who have a strong faith and understanding of God’s word, much like how Joshua consulted God.
