But she dedicated a whole song and called her name out in the first. Went on a breakfast club and talked about this. Like Cardi B. This beef was two years ago now.

I love it. I love the album. I know the Breakfast Club gave Cardi a hard time with imaginary equations. I'm trying to figure out why they thought that she was supposed to sound like Jay Z on that album.

I don't know why they thought that either. She didn't have to sound like Jay Z. I mean, she did. She did, you know, pull parts. You know, you could hear like the laughing and talking. Yeah. And how she, you know, the. The vintage in archive. And she compared it. Like that was the comparison to what he was saying about cars. And just even somehow the. The. The way she spit was similar too. So I don't know. I don't. It don't need to be. She don't need to do karaoke of his, you know, so.

So Jerry the Mouse, AKA DJ Academics, he had a few choice words to say about Cardi's album. He said Cardi B's Am I the Drama became the. The fastest female album to go platinum, but not because the album's new tracks. He said Cardi B inflated her sales with the five year old records. And her new songs, Imaginary Players and Outside were barely making or we're barely moving 50k to 100k streams. So basically what he's saying is because she added WAP and Up to the album, those are singles. What album was she supposed to add them to? Right. He's saying that inflated her sales in streams. I don't think so. Because I have not. When I heard those songs and I'm like, wait, did they go to another album or something? I turned it off immediately and I started back from the beginning of the album. I didn't even realize those songs were actually on the album, like without looking at my phone until I saw this headline.

Well, I guess because it. Because those were huge hits. Right. Or I didn't like WAP personally. Right. Up was cool. Those are not the best songs. On this album.

Okay, so academics is trying to discredit Cardi B because he just loves going against women.

People really don't do rollouts anymore for their albums, right? They just hit social media. They might put a video out for maybe one of the songs and that's it. Like, she literally did a rollout. She's doing all these interviews. Yeah, she. She was. Cardi B has always been working, and also she set the precedents for women who want to also be actual women and have families. Cardi B is doing all the things. She's pregnant with her fourth child right now.

So I I don't know if y' all saw, but Jimmy Kimmel got suspended indefinitely for his comments on his show about Charlie Kirk and President Trump. And he was suspended, but turns out they're letting him back. By the time you hear this, he will have already aired this past Tuesday night. And it says here Disney and ABC will bring the comedian back to his schedule starting Tuesday night. Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming and intense situation at an emotional moment for our country. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill timed and thus insensitive. The company said in a statement. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversation with Jimmy. And after those conversations, we reached a decision to return to his show Tuesday. But for what I.

That's what I feel like. Nothing. Jimmy Kimble, Okay. I can't remember his exact words, but I did watch. I didn't. I watch a clip of what he said. I can't remember exactly what he said, though. Like, so I can say verbatim here, but it was nothing that serious to have taken his job. Right? And it's almost like it still goes back to this. This particular group of people. You can't even sound like you insinuating anything about them, right? They don't realize how. And the thing is, y' all can try. Y' all can put a. Put the thing, whoever they. Y' all want to put in there, but they don't realize. Is that. What they don't realize is that when they do this thing, like taking someone's livelihood, it only helps everybody else's narrative that they are treacherous. You know, I'm saying we are right now. I don't know if people realize freedom of speech is very. And this is. We talk back. Freedom of speech is very much.

And I don't think that people realize that, you know, when somebody is saying something you agree with, Right. You kind of. Then this other person you don't agree with, you attack them. It's gonna come a time when you say something and somebody's gonna attack you for your speech. So people should be allowed to be able to say whatever they want, whatever their opinion is. And then you got the court system for slander and libel. Okay? So somebody says something that's not true, you know, you can sue them, right? Suit them for that. But people's opinions or maybe something you haven't researched yourself. You can't just automatically say something isn't true. Right. I agree with perspective and, you know, perspective and perception is going to kill all arguments every time.

You know, it's for the court of public opinion to cancel somebody. Okay. You know, based on what they're saying. But when government starts to, you know, decide what can be said and what can't, that's when it becomes a problem, a real problem. You know, and that's scary. It really is scary.

So I don't think people are considering that, though. They don't. They are not. Because if something is said and that they. And they agree with it, they side with the government. The government can't do anything to us unless the masses are complicit with that thing. Yeah. So we are giving them the. The green light to sense. Yeah. For censorship. Absolutely.

But I also saw that Disney, you know, lost like $4 billion since they. Since Jimmy Kimmel. And they was like, yeah, let me give that boy a chance. We just playing with y'. All. Come on back. We thought about it and, yeah, we're gonna let him say some more shit. Yeah. Like, I can't wait to watch and hear what he has to say tonight because I think it's gonna be interesting.

I definitely kind of try to have empathy. It's almost impossible, though, you know, to have to acknowledge the plight of every human experience. Yeah.

We gotta get a little bit more research going, but have y' all been following this story with this singer, David. His real name is David Anthony burke. So apparently, Mr. Burke, he's under fire because he had a Tesla that was. I don't know if it was repossessed or just told because it was abandoned somewhere. And apparently there was a body of a deceased teenager who had been missing since 2024 in California. So this, this, this read is coming from Billboard Hip Hop. It says David's. His name is. His Stage name is D4VD. Yeah, his real name is David. It says David's rise as one of Gen Z's most promising pop stars has taken a shocking turn. The 20 year old artist who first broke out with viral hits after pivoting from YouTube into music and had been in the middle of a massive world tour before canceling all remaining dates last week. The decision came after a tragic discovery on September 8th. Authorities confirmed that the decomposed body of 15 year old Celeste Revis, who'd been reported missing since April 2024, was found in the trunk of David's impounded Tesla at a Los Angeles tow lot. Investigators are treating Revis death as a homicide. While the singer's rep says David is fully cooperating with authorities, no charges have been filed against him. The devastating news has sparked widespread speculation online with fans and onlookers piercing together potential connections between the late teen and the rising star. Just months ago, David was known for genre blending songs and skyrocketing career. Now his name is tied to tragedy that's left both. So. And then he had a song. What's the damn song? Anyway, she was a minor. Now the minor has been missing. And I did see another headline that I hadn't. Yeah, they found her body. And then, like, yesterday or the day before, I saw. Saw something saying that they found, like, fetal tissue or something near his home.

Because matcha is also like natural caffeine. Caffeine, right. So if you want to get like the workout in for the fall, right. Drinking some matcha, take your vitamins with it, your vitamin D, we going to need a lot of that for the fall. We don't have the sun. We already don't get enough sun even in the summer. Right, right. So beefing up on your vitamin, your vitamin D is essential. Right. For the winter and for the fall and winter months. But man, my workouts have been real good. Just hitting it, hitting the gym 30 minutes after the matcha and just taking my vitamin D. Like for real. Cause it just gives you that nice little rush. And I'm sweating.

And you do the seafood stock instead of putting water in there and put a little bit of that smoke flavored in there. Cause that's really what the meat is for. All right, so we're going to sit comfortably, okay. Either on a chair with your feet flat on the ground or on a cushion. Rest your hands gently in your lap, close your eyes. If that feels safe, go ahead and do it now. Okay, so we're going to begin with the breath. Okay? You're going to take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Real heavy, just full mouth breathe out in through your nose, Full breath out through your mouth. Okay? So take one more slow, deep inhale through your nose and release it fully through your mouth as if you're inhaling a soft fog into winter air. Do this about one more time, letting each exhale carry away all of that summer hustle, bustle, tension. All right, now I want you to visualize winter's calmness, okay? Because, you know, fall leads us into this colder, cozy month. So picture yourself in a quiet, you know, fall landscape perhaps, you know, trees are falling. You see all that nice orangey brown reds, all the different tones, right? Blanketing the earth and its stillness. The air is so crisp, clear and fresh. Just notice how nature slows down in this season. The trees are getting kind of bare, the animals are resting, and the world moves more softly. Okay? And this is your affirmation and stillness as you continue to breathe. Don't forget to breathe because y' all know when we're stressed out, we don't breathe. So when you catch yourself not breathing, take a deep breath in and deep breath out. And it's okay to keep restarting as many times as you need to. And here's our affirmation here at we talk back. I welcome rest. You know, last week we had a challenge where we're going to challenge you to get eight hours of sleep. We are doing that for fall. So I welcome rest. I honor this season of quiet. Stillness restores me. Okay, scan your body. Take one last deep breath in, holding the quiet strength of fall inside. And exhale slowly, releasing what no longer serves you. And when you're ready. Open your eyes and carry this stillness into your day. Ew.
