You can find the complete conversation as well as several unreleased Kyle Flanagan tracks on Patreon: https://patreon.com/whitecentipedenoiseKyle has been an important part of the American noise underground for close to a decade, quietly influencing listeners and fellow artists alike with his personal brand of psychedelic noise and hands on participation, despite keeping a relatively low profile. He's been involved with the Dead Gods circle in New York and is now based in Richmond, Virginia. In this conversation, we talk about psychedelia, his time living in New York at the height of Dead Gods, involvement in Crazy Doberman, the value of local and regional scenes, and the recording process behind several of his best-known releases, just to name a few topics. https://easyridersnoise.bigcartel.com/This episode is sponsored by Rural Isolation Projecthttps://ruralisolationproject.com/https://ruralisolationproject.bandcamp.com/Also brought to you by:Andromache Records - https://andromacherecords.bigcartel.com/Initial Shock IV - July 3-5, 2026 in Montreal, CAN - https://screamandwrithe.com/initialshock/White Centipede Noise is also a label, distro, and private noise record store based in Potsdam, Germany - https://whitecentipedenoise.com/Support the show

R.I.P. James CookeWhile speaking with Egan Budd of Xiphoid Dementia on the podcast, he told me about a trove of interviews he recorded with noise artists for his Blood Ties webzine in the mid-2000s (later Existence Establishment). The project has a sparse but strong catalog of mechanical industrial noise with a unique atmosphere and aesthetic. One of my favorite noise projects that has flown under the radar of many, and since we've been pen pals for years, it was great to finally meet in person. Felix’s other passions outside of noise include hacking and puppetry. His animatronic and rod puppetry work can be seen at https://avgrund.net/. You can sample his noise at https://www.euronet-releases.com/ Felix joined me at WCN Studios in Potsdam for this interview, where we also recorded a live in-studio EURONET set that will be released on WCN TV at Patreon next week.White Centipede Noise is also a label, distro, and private noise record store based in Germany: https://whitecentipedenoise.com/This episode is sponsored by Rural Isolation Projecthttps://ruralisolationproject.com/https://ruralisolationproject.bandcamp.com/Also brought to you by:Initial Shock IV - July 3-5, 2026 in Montreal, CAN - https://screamandwrithe.com/initialshock/Negative Output Festival - July 25 and 26, 2026 in Manchester, UK.Tickets at https://ra.co/events/2295161Support the show

In addition to asking most of my guests their top 5 noise releases of all time, I usually ask them to tell me their top 5 noise of the past year, in order to learn about good shit that's going on right now, and help shine a light on it. In this episode, we compile many of the answers our guests have given us, going back to the first days of the podcast. Get out your pen and paper, then go hit up your local distros to track down some good noise. To support White Centipede Noise Podcast and get access to much more noise content, go to https://www.patreon.com/whitecentipedenoiseWhite Centipede Noise is also a label, distro, and private noise record store based in Germany: https://whitecentipedenoise.com/This episode is sponsored by Rural Isolation Projecthttps://ruralisolationproject.com/https://ruralisolationproject.bandcamp.com/Also brought to you by:Negative Output Festival - July 25 and 26, 2026 in Manchester, UK.Tickets at https://ra.co/events/2295161Support the show
