Come with us as we navigate the mind-blowing, cluster f**k that is late-diagnosis ADHD. It’s messy, overwhelming, and sometimes makes no sense… but this is what happens when you give two people with ADHD a microphone and let them spiral.
We’re talking hyperfixations, random obsessions we swear are “the one”, the crashes, the chaos… and all the little moments that make you stop and think “why did I just do that?”
It’s all over the place, it rarely goes how you expect, and half the time it doesn’t make sense… but somehow, it’ll probably sound familiar.
There’s no structure, no perfect advice, and definitely no pretending we’ve got it all figured out. Just honest conversations about what ADHD actually feels like, the good, the bad, and everything in between… said exactly how it happens in our heads.
Because sometimes all it takes is hearing someone else say it out loud to realize you’re not broken… you’re not alone. Your brain just works differently.

Send us Fan MailIn this episode, we’re talking about what starting Elvanse actually feels like… the good bits, the bad bits, and the genuinely weird bits no one really warns you about. From unexpected moments of focus to somehow hyper-fixating on completely the wrong thing, nothing went the way we thought it would. One minute everything feels clearer, the next you’re questioning why you’ve just spent two hours doing something that didn’t even matter. We get into the small changes, the surprising ones, and the parts that are a lot harder to explain. The things that make you stop and think, “wait… is this what it’s supposed to feel like?”If you’ve ever wondered what ADHD medication actually feels like, or you’re on it and trying to make sense of it, this ones for you.Listen to us ramble on AuDHD... Send us Fan MailIn this episode, we’re tackling rejection sensitivity with ADHD — aka why one tiny bit of criticism can send us into a full Olympic-level spiral. We attempt to give actual advice (emphasis on attempt), share some real-life stories, and throw in a few practical tools and mindset shifts along the way. Will it help you calm the storm and bounce back faster? Hopefully. Will it at least make you laugh at how ridiculous our brains can be? Definitely.Support the showIf you'd like to support the show please consider subscribing to us, it starts at $3 a month:BUZZSPROUT Subscriptionhttps://www.buzzsprout.com/1898728/supporters/newBuy Me A Coffeehttps://bmc.link/adopaminekickThanks so much to anyone that donates to us, we really appreciate it.Our Socialswww.adopaminekick.comFollow us on Instagramwww.instagram.com/adopaminekickLike us on Facebookwww.facebook.com/adopaminekickEmail us: adopaminekick@gmail.comSupport the show

Send us Fan MailThis week we’re talking about the cruel irony of ADHD!!! How we’ll spend days hyperfocusing on building the perfect relaxing space — gardens, patios, pergolas… you name it (haha) and then never actually sit down to enjoy it. Because the moment we try to rest, our brains hit us with a to-do list longer than the IKEA instructions we never followed. 🧠✨If you’ve ever hyperfixed on a task just to “earn” relaxation only to end up reorganizing the garage or starting a new DIY project instead of chilling... then this one’s for you.The curse of the ADHD chill: we build the vibes but never vibe in them.Support the showIf you'd like to support the show please consider subscribing to us, it starts at $3 a month:BUZZSPROUT Subscriptionhttps://www.buzzsprout.com/1898728/supporters/newBuy Me A Coffeehttps://bmc.link/adopaminekickThanks so much to anyone that donates to us, we really appreciate it.Our Socialswww.adopaminekick.comFollow us on Instagramwww.instagram.com/adopaminekickLike us on Facebookwww.facebook.com/adopaminekickEmail us: adopaminekick@gmail.comSupport the show

Send us Fan MailThis week we’re tackling the chaos cocktail that is ADHD + perfectionism. You know, that magical combo where you obsess over every detail, waste loads of time and then suddenly decide “It's dead to me” at 75% and never either finish it, or rush your way through the last 20% with no f**ks given?!!!We’re talking all-or-nothing thinking, the fear of not doing it perfectly, and how we somehow manage to procrastinate AND care way too much. It’s messy and it’s frustrating, but what's new with ADHD??!!!PLUS: In What Did You ADHD this week, Shell reveals her latest hyperfixation—let’s just say it came out of the blue. Like… ocean blue. 🐠🌊 Is it random? Yes. Is it peak ADHD?
