Alright, so here's the thing. Bob has had Jack on the phone many times over the years, but he has never been in the studio. Well, that all changed this week. Meet, finally, Jack Chavez. Jack is a Swiss Army Knife of paranormal knowledge. He's a brilliant researcher who knows something about a lot of things. Including, but not limited to, cryptids, ghosts, demons, angels, local haunts, phantom clowns, and phantom kangaroos. Also, make sure to check out or friends over at Heart of Illinois Center for Unexplained Phenomenon HICUP! https://www.facebook.com/HOIUnexplained!

Week two of Paranormal Researchers month, we welcome back to the show Rebecca and Pat from Ghostly Podcast. They are an interesting duo with Rebecca being the believer and Pat being a skeptic, they debate ghost stories. We dive into their pasts and look at why Rebecca is more researcher then hunter when it comes to the paranormal, and why one Buddhist's line changed Pat to being a skeptic forever.

What's the number one thing a paranormal researcher needs to prove what they find? Evidence. Not in the case of Jon-Erik Beckjord. Jon was a paranormal investigator whom studied Bigfoot, Lochness Monster, and UFO's. On this episode, we look at the strange case of Jon, and how his lack there of evidence made him quite the spectacle.

Ever see the movie the Exorcist? You know, with the little girl who gets possessed by a demon? Well, that movie was based on a book of the same name, and that book was based on a "true story." The story starts Cottage City Maryland in the home of the Ronald Hunkeler (Thanks Ghostly Podcast for the scoop.) There he learned about the spiritualism movement from his aunt Harriett. She taught the family how to use Ouija boards and the such. Upon her death, the family was experiencing some supernatural experiences around the home. Thinking it would help, the did a séance to see if it was the aunt. From there, Ronald began experiencing signs of possession. This week, Count Panek and Bob look at the case and see if there was any truth to the story of The Exorcist.

Disclaimer on this one folks. We were swamped by technical difficulties all throughout this recording. We also spend a BIG chunk of this episode interviewing two people before we get to the lore of the week. Bob had the pleasure with speaking to an employee from Reapers Realm Haunted House in Hammond, Indiana. According to Reapers Realm Website, "In the heart of the mist-shrouded woods, nestled in a forgotten corner of the world, lies a place that defies the boundaries of reality. A place where darkness takes shape, where the veil between the living and the dead is paper-thin, and where the chilling echoes of the past reverberate through every creaking floorboard and every whispering gust of wind. As you prepare to embark on a journey into the unknown, prepare your nerves for a relentless assault, your courage for an unending test, and your heart for a dance with the macabre. For once you step through the foreboding gates of Reaper's Realm, you will find yourself ensnared in a nightmare from which there may be no escape." I mean, that gives you the willies just reading it to set the mood. Reapers Realm is a haunted house attraction that has been in Hammond, Indiana for 35 years. As they face what could be their final year, we have a conversation about the property. Also, the possibility of the place actually being haunted. Also, Bob speaks to his pal Neal with Graveside Paranormal. He talks about events he has Bob booked at including a paranormal night life bus tour. All across Chicago's South Side. Finally, Bob starts the strange tales of the truth behind fairy tales. This week, he looks at the weird first printing of Hanzel and Gretel. According to Brooke Hess with the Outdoor Journal, "In 1908, brothers Willie and Frank McLeod embarked on a mission into the Nahanni Valley in search of gold. They never returned. Two years later, the bodies of the McLeod brothers were found on the banks of the Nahanni River. Their heads though, were nowhere to be found. The two men were murdered, decapitated, and left on the side of the river for the next party of explorers to find." This episode is a wild one! Headless brothers, desert oasis in the middle of the artic, prehistoric animals alive, and even a naked lady!

Ever go camping? Well, it's definitely a creepy experience! This week, we bust out our outdoors skills, start a fire, and go camping. We look at three haunted campgrounds including: Lake Morena Campground, and the Gazebo at Eden Park. We also have a cursed story involving a canoe!
