From there, it was straight into the Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce wedding, which Kate declared boring before spending ten minutes on the details anyway.

The back half went full chaos: Richard Dreyfuss's ex-wife wanting a robot boyfriend spiraled into a deep, deep dive on Bluetooth-controlled sex toys, Lovense hardware, and Grok's AI companions — easily the longest segment of the night. Then a hard swerve into the DC fireworks record, Zohran Mamdani's Fourth of July speech (which did not go over well), and Hollywood's "On Tyranny" video.
