What if some of the most widely believed ideas about Jesus are not actually what he taught? Welcome back to the Healing and Human Potential podcast where today we explore some of the biggest distortions and lost teachings of Jesus and how understanding them might shift the way you relate to life. Today we're exploring some of the biggest distortions around the lost teachings of Jesus and how understanding them can shift the way you relate to life. We also touch in on the ego levels of consciousness, Kundalini awakening, and what it means to live from a more awakened state. We also touch in on the ego levels of consciousness, Kundalini awakening and what it means to live from a more awakened state. Joining us is Aaron Abke, who's a spiritual teacher and offers thought provoking perspectives on Christianity, consciousness and self realization. Let's dive in. I know that you grew up as a pastor's son, deeply rooted in Christianity, and then at 23, you left all of it. I'm curious what you saw, realized that made you feel like you couldn't actually stay in that experience.
B
Yeah, I would say it was just realizing I didn't believe in the version of God that I was. I had been sold by Christianity my whole life and I had had problems with the view of God I was presented with since I was probably 16 or 17. That's when my existential crisis kind of started. But it came to fruition at 23, beginning my pastoral ministry career. And I'm now leading worship for this church and singing these songs. And then I get off stage and the pastor comes up and he just wants to talk about who's going to hell and why we're going to heaven and everyone else is not and we need to go save everybody because if we don't go out and save them, like their blood is on our hands kind of thing. And I think he thought that that was very like motivating and inspiring. But to me, it just, it created a universe I didn't want to live in anymore. You know, we're all in this giant Saw movie or something. Doesn't make any sense. I. I don't see that God revealed in the person of Jesus. I don't see that God justified in the mouth or teachings of Jesus. And so funny enough, one of my first YouTube videos, I think my first YouTube video or second was titled why I Left Christianity through for Jesus. And I wasn't just being, you know, tongue in cheek or something. Like it was very much was the case. I actually felt convicted that if I really want to follow Jesus, I have to leave this religion as a byproduct of that sincerity, because I can't actually do. I can't follow both at the same time.
A
It takes a lot of courage to follow your truth. And I know a lot of your work speaks to these lost teachings of Jesus. And I would love to see here kind of a distilled version, maybe the top three of the biggest distortions you see that people are believing today.
B
Number one for sure is the whole idea of blood atonement, that Jesus was the blood sacrifice, the penalty for your sins. You know, he paid it with his death. So first of all, this is taught nowhere in the mouth of Jesus in any way, shape or form. And that should be very problematic if you're a Christian, right? But most Christians will say, no, that's not true. There's that one verse in Matthew where it's the Last Supper, right? Jesus says, this is my body broken for you for the forgiveness of sins. This is my blood shed for you. And the problem with that passage, it's one of the most disputed passages in the canonical Gospels because Matthew is borrowing from Mark, as we know, Mark is the earlier Gospel account. Both Matthew and Luke use 90% of Mark almost word for word, copying Mark. And they change Mark here and there based on their own theological goals and stuff. But Mark is the source, right? And when you go to Mark, Mark does not have that passage. It's, this is my body, this is my blood, and then do this in remembrance of me. There's no shed for you, broken for you for the forgiveness of sins in Mark. And then the problem with that even is that Mark is actually copying Paul. But it's a passage verbatim that Paul says. He says, I was not taught this by the disciples of Jesus. I did not learn this from any man, nor was I taught this by a man. But I received this in a direct revelation of Jesus. Basically a private vision, right? And he says that on the night he was betrayed, he took the bread and he broke it, and he said, this is my body. He took the cup and he said, this is my blood, and do this in remembrance of me. And so Paul is not only making this up from a private vision, which is very problematic, but even Paul in that earliest source, doesn't say, broken for you, shed for you for the forgiveness of sins. So Matthew, the author of Matthew, whoever it was in the 90s or 100 something AD just added that in because it was some kind of developing theology. So without that one verse, you have no blood atonement language in the mouth. Of Jesus. But boy, howdy, do you get a whole lot of love your neighbor as yourself. Love God with all your heart. Forgive if you want to be forgiven. I think Christians somehow overlook this fact. So I'll make this number two, that Jesus taught the law of reciprocity just all throughout his gospel teachings, not just in parables, which there are many, many parables about the law of sowing and reaping and this whole idea that what you give is what you get back. And the way God judges us in this regard is based on how we live and behave towards others. So it's like you can't have what you withhold from another. And if you judge someone else in your heart, you're giving God the permission to judge you or the universe to judge you. And so you have to experience the same judgments in your own life. So Jesus taught this over and over again. Luke 6:37, Judge and you'll be judged. Forgive and you'll be forgiven, for the measure you give is the measure you get back. And in Matthew, same thing. If you don't forgive your brother his trespasses, your heavenly Father can't forgive yours. And I think that's the key term is can't forgive yours. Because the universe is law, and God is law in that regard. And so when you violate laws of God's nature, the laws are what's doing the work, right? It's not like God's up in heaven, just puff, puff. I choose not to forgive you because you don't forget. That's a very human, anthropomorphizing way of seeing it. Jesus is speaking to cosmic universal law, right? He's like, this is the way the universe works. What you give out is what you get back. So love your neighbor as yourself and that this is the greatest commandment of all, right? So that'd be number two, is that salvation is the golden rule. If you want to go by Jesus's teachings alone, which is what I do, no question whatsoever that is salvation in the gospel of Jesus is loving God, loving your neighbor as yourself. And for the third, even the whole kind of institution of animal sacrifice was something Jesus vehemently opposed. And there's different ways Christians and apologists, more so try to get around this is they'll say, well, yeah, yeah, he was against animal sacrifice because he was. It was just a foreshadowing of what he was going to do. And he was God's last sacrifice. So that's why he didn't want the animals to be something like that. But there's just too many problems with that approach because when you read what Jesus said about animal sacrifice and especially the extra biblical sources of what Jesus thought about animal sacrifice, like the early church fathers, Nazarene writings that are referencing what Jesus taught and said about this, you get these just scathing condemnations of the animal sacrifice system as that sacrifice itself is antithetical to the nature of God. And that's the big problem for Christianity that's claiming that Jesus was God's last animal sacrifice. How do you, how do you square that circle? Right. Jesus twice in the Gospel of Matthew quotes Hosea 6, 6, which is the most direct anti animal sacrifice passage in the Bible. He says to the Pharisees, go and learn what this means. Pharisees, I desire mercy, not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. And it's a very famous anti animal sacrifice prophetic passage. And he quotes it twice in the book of Matthew. So he's saying, you guys don't even know what Hosea meant when he said this. You guys are out the temple slaughtering animals, thinking your sins are getting forgiven. Go and learn what it means. Go back and look. He's saying you've clearly missed the message. God doesn't want this. So that's what we have in the New Testament. And then interestingly, the only story besides the crucifixion and stuff, the only like story narrative of the gospels that all four agree on because they're very much, they disagree with each other on a lot of the details. The only story that they all agree on is Jesus cleansing the temple. All four gospels say that Jesus did that. And in John it says that he actually opens the cages of the animals and lets the animals run loose while he then pronounces condemnation on the temple. And he famously quotes both Isaiah and Jeremiah, the two anti sacrifice prophets, kind of proto Essene prophets. And he says it is written, my father's house should be called a house of prayer for all nations. That's Isaiah. But you have turned it into a den of thieves, it says in our New Testament today. But he's quoting Jeremiah 7, verse 11. And so in the temple you would only ever speak Hebrew. That's the, the holy kind of sacred language of the Jewish people and the priestly language. And so he's quoting the Hebrew bible, right? Jeremiah 7, 11. You have turned my father's house into a den of parit is the Hebrew word. When you look up what the Hebrew word there is, which Jesus would have quoted, right as he's reading the Scripture, the Hebrew word parit means murderers or violent ones or shredders of flesh. So the way it should be translated accurately from the Hebrew to the Greek to the English is you've turned my father's house into a den of murder or violence or bloodshed, something like that. But we see as many passages in the New Testament are very toned down and theologically altered to avoid the obvious implications and problems that some of these verses set up for Christian, later Christian theology, such as, how do you claim that Jesus knew he was God's last blood sacrifice when Jesus himself is angrily condemning the idea of that God wants bloodshed for forgiveness. You can't really have it both ways, right? So you got to tone down Jesus on that. But even further than that, most people have never heard of this before, and I don't blame them for it because I had an either before I started studying this. The oldest Gospel account that we know of that was written of Jesus is called the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew. And I actually remember asking this question in Sunday school, growing up in church, when I learned that Jesus spoke Hebrew and Aramaic, but the Gospels were written in Greek because I used to think they were written in Aramaic or Hebrew until a Sunday school pastor corrected me and I said, why? Why was it written in Greek if Jesus spoke Hebrew and Aramaic? And he's like, well, you know, the Greeks kind of became a Greek religion and did it. And so I said, okay, but doesn't it make sense that his disciples would have written the gospels in Hebrew or Aramaic? And they say, yeah, I mean, it's, it's possible that they first wrote the Gospels in Hebrew or something and you know, they're just speculating. But hey, when you actually study the patristic literature on this, you find that over a dozen of our early church fathers, and I mean the who's who, every main church father you've ever heard of, Origen, Jerome, Epiphanius, Irenaeus, Eusebius, they all agree on this fact that the first Gospel account of Jesus was written by the disciple Matthew himself in the Hebrew dialect for the sake of the Jewish Christians. Because the first Christians were Jewish Christians, meaning they still kept the Ten Commandments, they kept a lot of the Jewish holidays and so forth. They were not Greek speaking Hellenistic Gentiles like Paul. They were observant Jews who believed that Jesus was the Davidic Messiah. And that makes sense. The Jews were expecting a Messiah and the, the first Christians were Jews who said, oh, he's the guy. So Jewish Christianity was like scrubbed out of church History because it became Gentile Christianity by the kind of mid late second century. But Matthew would have actually been the most likely disciple to have recorded the teachings of Jesus in Hebrew because he was a tax collector. And tax collectors have to be literate enough to be able to write tax records in Hebrew. Right. Book of Acts says that John and Peter were both illiterate. The word is agramatose, meaning unlettered. They couldn't even read letters. Right. Galilean peasants in the first century would have almost certainly not been literate. Definitely not in Greek, but probably not even in their own tongues. Right. Being able to write literature in the first century was a total novelty that very few people like. Less than 10% of people could read and write in those days. So Matthew is the best candidate for being the first disciple to record a gospel. And we only have 48 surviving quotes from this gospel. But the church fathers, the Greek Roman church fathers say that this is the only gospel that the Nazarenes and the Jewish Christians use is the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew. So the first Christians, the Jewish Christians rejected the gospels we have today. And they read only this one gospel, the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew. And so they quote from it here and there. We have 48 quotes from it. Rome ended up doing these book burning campaigns of all the Jewish Christian Nazarene writings. So we don't have any surviving copies of it. But in the mouth of the church fathers, we do have 48 quotes from it. And one of the quotes we have from the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew is Jesus in the temple cleansing scene. He says to the Pharisees, I've come to abolish the sacrifices. So he means the institution of sacrifice says, I've come to abolish the sacrifices. And until you cease from sacrificing, the wrath of my Father will not cease from you. So according to the oldest gospel account that the Hebrew Christians wrote in the first century, Jesus was actually, Jesus actually believed that all of the corruption and the, you know, being captured by Rome and all the different captivities of Jewish history were really due to this abominable pagan practice of animal sacrifice happening in God's temple. And animal sacrifice was a pagan practice for at least 2,000 years before the Jewish people adopted it in the temple of God. So you can imagine why the Essenes broke off from orthodoxy in the 5th, 5th century BCE and said, hey, we, we can't hang with you guys anymore. You're bringing pagan blood magic rituals into God's temple. God desires mercy, not sacrifice. And so when you read the the prophets. Some of you guys listening to this podcast have probably wondered, hey, how come so many prophets angrily condemn animal sacrifice? You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. King David wrote that. Let's. Why did you get this theme of Jeremiah, Isaiah, Amos, Malachi, the Book of Psalms? So many authors are condemning animal sacrifice because this was a big scandalous issue in Jewish history in these days. And there was a huge segment of Judaism that said, no, God did not command us. This, as the prophet Jeremiah said, God wants righteousness, justice, to walk humbly and love mercy, and let me be your God and be my people. This is what God wants. And so Jesus is standing in the line of these Essene prophets, like Isaiah and Jeremiah. And Jesus quotes Isaiah and Jeremiah far more than any other prophet. He quotes them like 40 something plus times in the Gospels. So he was clearly of that line of the Jewish people who rejected this practice. So again, you come back to the central problem. If Jesus was so against this practice, how can you say that he knew and believed and wanted to be God's blood sacrifice?
A
Yeah, and in some of the ancient teachings, I've also heard you mention that what we consume affects us on a cellular level. And so I'm just curious if you can connect that to addiction or using fasting for purification purposes.
B
Yeah, this is another lost tradition of Christianity is this kind of Essene Christianity. So I do a lot of podcasts on this topic, but suffice to say there is an enormous, like, mountain of evidence that Jesus emerged from the Essene type of Judaism. And again, the Essenes rejected orthodoxy. They rejected animal sacrifice. They were strict vegetarians because they believed that number one meat that was sacrificed to idols was seen as being kind of infested with demonic energy. And so that's one reason they were vegetarian. But another reason is that essentially when you slaughter an animal or it lives a life of suffering and torture, all that negative energy, that suffering, that grief, that fear and so forth, is affecting the animal at a cellular level. And we actually know this is true scientifically. So then when you eat the flesh of a slain animal who has lived this kind of life, or they've suffered this kind of fearful, painful death, you're consuming that energy and taking it into your body, whereas the plants of the field and, you know, bread and fruit, has no such negative energy in it. And so if we want to be as close to God as possible, and if we want to choose the way of life, as Jesus called it, then we should eat that which is alive, not that which is dead. And this is the Essene philosophy of why they were vegetarians. And so the Essenes not only were vegetarians, but they fasted regularly and they did daily water immersion. So this is another difference with Christianity today and original, you know, Hebrew or Jewish Christianity was that baptism was not seen as this kind of one and done thing where you, you get dunked, you get the Holy Spirit, Woo. I got baptized. And then you put the sticker or the picture on your fridge. You know, for them it was a daily practice because they believe that water itself is cleansing and purifying. And in fact, if you study demonology at all in really any spiritual tradition, you get this theme that demons do not like water. Water is somehow bad for demons. I don't know how else to explain it. And I think that that's because it does have a cleansing power. It removes negative energy. It's a cleansing element. And so they would bathe in cold water immersion. So they're getting the cold water exposure. Right. Which is very good for you. And then just the water itself cleanses you of evil or energy, negative energy that you might be carrying. And I think there's a spiritual component of connecting with water also makes you softer in your heart and things. So they saw water, as they called it, the earthly. The earthly mother's angels. The angel of water was one of the earthly mother's angels in Essene philosophy. So if Jesus believed all of that. Precisely. We don't know. We don't have any records of that. But we do have a lot of evidence that Jesus emerged from that tradition, which it was a very widespread tradition, by the way. There's many different Essene groups. There's the Elkhesites, Ebionites, Nazarenes, Oenes, and about five others I could name. So he merged from this type of Judaism. But there is good evidence to say, like maybe Jesus held some of these views. And what do we see Jesus doing in the beginning of the Gospels? He's baptizing with the known Essene, John the Baptist, in the wilderness at the river Jordan. He's baptizing people and being baptized by John.

So everyone is born with the first three energy centers in activation from birth. The red, the orange and the yellow ray energy centers, root, sacral, solar plexus in the lower triad of those three chakras is essentially what encompasses the ego or makes you a human. A human being with an ego. If we want to turn on the 4th Energy center, which is the heart chakra, the green ray, then we have to live in such a way that puts a demand on that energy center to activate. Because the only reason that the first three energy centers are in activation for humans is because evolutionarily we have put enough of a demand on those centers to be active in the nervous system. So the third center, the solar plexus, represents the intellectual world. So Whenever humans became self aware, I think it probably was whenever humans began to use or ancient hominids, whatever, we were right when we started to use language to communicate, that's the beginning of conceptualization, right? We're now putting words and labels onto things and using these guttural noises to identify them. So as that continues to evolve and we're naming everything, eventually we're going to give each other a name. I'm going to give you a name. I'm going to get a name. So now every, you know, human hominid in the group, in the tribe or whatever knows who I'm referring to when I make that sound. That would have developed at some point, right? Well, that's when the mind would have flipped in on itself and become an object to itself. And self awareness, self consciousness would have been born in the human mind. And that's when the yellow ray energy center would have started to turn on in the human anatomy. Because the yellow ray is what controls intellectual thought and perception. And so in the same way we've put a demand on these lower three physical survival. Being a unique person with your own needs and desires, your emotions, your intellectual world and thought and conceptualization, we've done all these things. What's the next frontier for human evolution? It's love and unity with one another. So in the law of one, this is called fourth density consciousness, which is to live with your locus of consciousness from the 4th Energy Center. Right now, the vast majority of people on our planet are living with their locus of consciousness in that third center, which is the ego chakra, the yellow ray. And so most people believe they're separate and live like they're separate. And all the problems in our world, the war, the division, the evils we see are due to this belief in separation of being an ego that we have to ultimately transcend if we want peace on earth. And so we do that by individually, each one of us raising our consciousness to the level of the heart from third to fourth density consciousness. And so that's actually what a Kundalini awakening is. It is the activation of the green ray energy center coming online in the nervous system. A sort of neurobiological process has to kick off to disperse this new green ray energy into your nervous system, even through every cell in your body has to become congruent with this higher frequency. And so an upgrading process takes place. And that's why we. If you've experienced a Kundalini awakening, if you're listening to this, it very much does feel like that you're starting to see all your shadows coming up and your psyche starts to go a little haywire and you have to deal with all these things, right? And typically once you get through that process of inner purification that sometimes takes years, right? For a lot of people, what you're left with is this unbelievable new state of consciousness where the awareness of oneness is just so ordinary now. It's like it's not some mind blowing thing like you used to think it was. It's sort of like, oh my gosh, how did I not see this before? Of course we're all connected. Of course only God exists. Of course love is the best way to be in the universe. This is like kindergarten ABC 1, 2, 3 stuff. I mean, that's how it feels when you're actually living from fourth density consciousness. When you're living from third density consciousness and talking about oneness, it feels advanced and very conceptual and difficult to grasp. But when you're upgraded to that fourth density frequency and your heart chakra is active in your nervous system, it's just like, hey, welcome to the universe, welcome to the way things really are. You know, so that's the difficulty of Kundalini awakening is it is an ego death process. It's not a death of your individuality. You very much retain the sense of being an individual in the universe. You just don't feel disconnected anymore. And there's this inherent knowing that you are connected to turn on the heart chakra is also confusing to some people because some people say, well, Aaron, are you saying that until you have a Kundalini awakening, you never experience your heart chakra or you never experience love? You know, and absolutely not. Most people in the world, I would say probably everybody experiences the activation of the green ray at times. When you're with family, when you have children, beautiful moments, even mystical experiences, right? Every human experiences the greater love of the universe, divine love, this feeling of oneness and shared being. And maybe they don't know what they're feeling, but it's wonderful, right? But then the heart chakra turns back off and it stays dormant. So the goal of, of incarnating on this planet is not just to experience the heart every so often, it's to actually turn that chakra on permanently, as much as possible, at least. And the Law of One, where I'm getting a lot of this cosmology from, the Law of One states that the Creator looks for you to pass the threshold of 51% or greater. Heart chakra activation. Their term for it is service to others orientation. So what that means is the way that I understand what it means. Before your incarnation is over, you should strive to arrive at the point where your heart chakra is active at least 51% of the time. So, like a typical day, Right. How much of your day is your heart actually active? Is your heart open? You're feeling connected, you're feeling love for other beings. You want to be of service, you're looking to help, you're living from the heart, right? You can't feel any of those things if your heart is shut down. So if you're feeling love, like divine love, you want to be of service, you're feeling gratitude. These are all signs your heart is on. But as we know, the ego is strong and it clicks back on and we click into a self and we go into scarcity or insecurity. And so the heart turns off. Right. So we just want to get to that 51% or greater mark. My feeling is that a Kundalini awakening kicks off when we reach that threshold. It's. I think there's probably some kind of evolutionary stimulus built into our nervous system that sends a signal to the nervous system, hey, it's time to turn this chakra on as a new permanent fixture in the nervous system. So I'll pause there before I go into my story.
A
For people that are feeling like their heart's closed and you want to open your heart, you can even open your heart to your closed heart, right? So you can. There's a. There's the personal heart, there's the spiritual heart. So it's even bringing acceptance to the part of you that can accept. That's also a doorway through to help soften and to be a bridge into more of a divine love that is always. Your divine heart is always open. So it's just noticing that heart that is already open.
B
Yeah, it's really good. Really good point to add. It's not mechanistic, you know, like, I have to go find a certain experience that will open my heart chakra. It's the moment I'm aware that my heart is not open. I can open it by softening into that feeling of moment of gratitude. There's so many ways to open the heart. It's just like, get beyond your little self is really all it takes. But for most people on our planet, that's pretty difficult to do. Right.
A
And I would love to hear your story. And then there's so much more.
B
Yeah. So I'll just make it quick. I started experiencing weird symptoms in my body, and the. The main One. I call it Volcano Veins, which I think what it is, is it's your meridians heating up with Kundalini energy. But it's just the. The wildest sensation I've ever felt. And a lot of the listeners probably have felt this as well. Down my shins, mostly. The end of my extremities, like hands, fingers, shins, and feet would get these burning hot, like, lava lines going down my extremities and it would actually become so uncomfortable. It wasn't painful, but it would become uncomfortable because it's like you can't even focus on anything else. It's so intense that I would have to get up and move around to move the energy. And I was like, what is going on? And I'm having weird dreams and all kinds of stuff. And I didn't. It took me a while to connect the dots that it was a Kundalini experience of some sort. I didn't know anything about Kundalini at this time, but at some point I put it together of maybe this is that Kundalini thing I've heard about. I'm only four years out from, like, being a hard, hardline Christian, you know, so Kundalini and stuff is still, like, pretty new to me at this time. And I started reading sutras and like, Gopi Krishna and Hannah Dixon and some other teachers on Kundalini and quickly realized, oh, wow, yeah, this is definitely a Kundalini thing. So I start doing Kundalini Yoga practices, Japa Mantra, Bhastrika, breath work, and long periods of meditation. And it's definitely kicking things off. Well, one night my wife had made. I think we had pho that night. And then, like, I think she made some cookies or something. So I had a lot of carbs this night. And I didn't know that glucose or carbohydrates is kind of like jet fuel for Kundalini. So there's a tip for you if you wanna blast your Kundalini off. Carbs and fruit and glucose are especially helpful. I'm. I'm laying on the couch, we're watching TV as our night is winding down. And I have just the craziest restless leg syndrome that I've ever felt. If you've had restless leg syndrome at night, you know just how aggravating it feels like you just can't get comfortable. And I'm kind of squirming around and my wife is like, what's going on, babe? And I don't know, my legs are just. They feel super tense. So we go to bed And I lay in bed, and it's getting worse and worse, and I'm thinking, like, I'm never going to go to sleep. So I'm laying there and writhing around. I laid on my stomach because that felt better than on my back. And some. At some point, I started to get so tired, I drifted off to sleep. It must have been like 1 or 2am and I'm kind of falling asleep. And then just out of the blue, just, boom, I just wake up. And the classic feeling of. To me, it felt like someone had connected a fire hose to my lower spine, you know, and we're just blasting a tremendous amount of energy up my spine and out the top of my head. But it was also very loud, like. Like my head was in a jet turbine engine or something. And I'm looking down this tunnel of light, and I'm kind of like, you know, paralyzed by this energy. And this is the craziest part about my Kundalini awakening. And now, quick caveat. This experience I'm describing, where the lightning bolt shoots up the spine, everybody knows this as Kundalini. This experience itself is not a Kundalini awakening in the sense that, like, this is it. It's just one part of a Kundalini awakening. It's. It's one phenomenon, right? Your Kundalini is awakened usually long before this. And it's building to this point. It's literally like a lightning strike in the nervous system where you have the clouds and the static electricity charging in the clouds and then the negative energy at the root. And when the charges build up enough, there's a discharge that happens where the clouds kind of receive the energy from the root. This is a classic Kundalini awakening is the. The cosmic energy comes into the crown, touches the root, and boom, just like a lightning strike, he goes from the ground back up to the cloud, right? So this is called the inner conjunction, which is this meeting of the crown and the root and the masculine, feminine energy. So it's a sign that you've built up a lot of shakti energy, but it doesn't mean, oh, now your Kundalini's awakened. And I just wanted to get that out of the way. So I'm laying there looking down this tunnel of light, and I kid you not, I probably. I'd maybe seen one picture in my life of the goddess Shakti as she's depicted in Hindu mythology. Kind of bright like midnight blue with six arms and piercing eyes and the jewelry and stuff. I kid you not. I'm looking down this tunnel of Light. And the goddess appears just as she's depicted in Hindu mythology, but, you know, very much more stunning to behold. And her eyes are just like fire, like, looking right through me. And we have this telepathic, short little conversation I can't really articulate well, like, what dialogue took place. But it was something like, I'm your cosmic mother. I gave birth to you. You are me, we are one. I love you. I'm always with you. And something about this experience is me upgrading you to be able to facilitate more of my energy, something like that. And I'm kind of like, okay, great. Yeah, that sounds good. Experience ends and the tunnel of light disappears. And just like a classic Kundalini activation that's described in so much literature, you'll often hear them say, like, wherever Kundalini is, she's as hot as lava or hot like a fire. But wherever Kundalini leaves, she leaves as cold as a corpse. And I remembered reading that in a Gopi Krishna text. And I very much felt that I was laying in bed on my stomach looking to the side like this, kind of towards my bathroom in the dark. And I just went as cold as a corpse. My whole body was freezing cold. And I almost felt frozen, like I couldn't even move. And so I intuitively knew, or maybe something told me intuitively, breathe, just start breathing. So. And I literally felt like a frozen dead corpse in the ice in Antarctica, you know? And so it took me, like, I think probably at least an hour, maybe two hours of just breathing to feel the energy come back into my body. But when I studied more about this phenomenon, I realized what it was, which is that when this event happens, when the goddess activates in your nervous system and you blast off, it's using up all the available prana in your body to give you this incredible experience. And all this energy that's blasting up your spine, it's the energy that was in you, right? It's your body's energy blasting back into the cosmos. And it's almost like a reset or something. And so that's why you feel cold and stiff afterwards, because your body has to take in the prana again to replace what it lost. And that's why the breath work was really helpful for coming back online. So that was my story of when Kundalini really activated for me, really helpful
A
and so clear the way you explain things. I really appreciate the detail you go into. And for people, you know, sometimes it can be more subtle and other times it can be a bigger blast off, like yours and others. And so, you know, I just would encourage people to. Whatever ends up happening, allow it, breathe through it and presence. And, you know, it doesn't mean that you are more awakened or not awakened. It's just energy recalibrating in the body and kind of like that wattage. It's like you're a light bulb that just has more wattage coming through and available afterwards. And so it's great that we can normalize it, but also not to chase any states of consciousness, because whatever state happens, states come and go, right? And so I want to also, because for many years I got addicted to chasing spiritual states and spiritual highs and avoid people from. From following that. Just to just feel into what doesn't come and go. What is beyond a state, what is always here. It is what you are. And so, yes, to allowing whatever life does naturally and notice what's noticing, come to a deeper realization. And it brings me to. You were talking about the three energy centers and you were talking about the ego, essentially. If you could share the three core beliefs of the ego, what they are and how they show up in someone's life, I think that would be helpful.
B
Just to tag on to what you said there. I think it's important put this ending note on that conversation. I like to say altered traits over altered states. Seek the altered traits. You know, like that's how you actually get the altered states on a more permanent basis. If you want to live in that bliss and oneness all the time, seek like the teachings of Jesus, right? Live righteously, love others, love God, seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all these other things will be added to you. You're very right to point out that a bigger Kundalini awakening or activation is by no means a better awakening. In fact, a lot of times it's the opposite. A lot of times people are not ready for this level of energy to activate, and there's too many distortions in the system. And so it just blows the circuit board and people go psychotic and lose their minds. And it can be very much detrimental if it happens too early. So, yeah, never judge your awakening by the experience of another person. Whatever happens for you is exactly the way your Kundalini was meant to awaken. And in fact, like the Tibetan Buddhists, they get awakened kundalinis just by meditating eight hours a day. And they go through what I call a silent awakening, where it's just this very gradual facilitation of Kundalini energy in the body over eight hours a day for decades and decades and eventually it raises kundalini energy all the way to the crown and their full rainbow body. But they never had the lightning bolt, they never went through the symptoms. There's many ways to facilitate this energy. So yeah, I think it's important that people don't get attached to any one format.
A
100%. Yeah.
B
So the three beliefs of ego. This is kind of the core curriculum I teach on YouTube and in 40 university. The three beliefs of ego to me encapsulates what the ego is. And the reason for that is because the ego is not an entity or the ego is not a noun, but a verb. It is an activity of the mind. And that is the first understanding to, to grasp if you want to get what the ego is. Because we get a lot of things wrong. We talk about the ego like it's something you can befriend or be enemies with. I very much agree with the common statement you hear of, well, you can't kill the ego. Totally agree. Because you can't kill an activity. Right, an activity. Yeah, exactly. It doesn't exist. The ego is what it does and it doesn't exist outside of what it does. So if we know the ego is an activity, what is that activity? Well, in short, I would say it is this sequence which I call the three beliefs Lack attachment and control. So contrary to what a lot of us have thought, and I thought for a long time that I have an ego and I speak about it like I have one. It's in here somewhere. Right? And you have an ego and you have an ego. Well, I no longer see it that way. I actually see it the other way around in that the ego has you, the ego is not in you. It is actually like the matrix. It's like a matrix of consciousness that our entire planet is co creating and sourcing from. And so we're all agreeing with this certain thought system. I'm a separate self. I have to fight to get to the top. I'm lacking my basic needs. I'm the one who has to go fulfill my needs. I'm separate from God. There's all these different presuppositions in the ego's thought system. And if we're all believing in this thought system, we actually create it as a structure of consciousness, but a very detrimental structure of consciousness. And in kind of western hermeticism, these have been called aggregors. An aggregor is a co created. I see it like a zombie structure of consciousness in that it doesn't actually exist. It's just there because there's so much human thought, energy, so much consciousness pouring into this belief. And there's many, I mean, thousands, maybe millions of these detrimental structures in the collective consciousness. You know, us versus them, that's another detrimental structure. How many billions of people on our planet think that way? Yeah, it's us versus them. And we're the good and they're bad. Well, that's a antithetical view that does not map onto reality. The universe doesn't know us versus them. The universe is one. So it's incongruence with reality. So any thought or belief that's incongruent with reality, the more people believe it, the bigger the structure becomes. And it becomes like a black hole or something. It starts to pull more people into it and there's a weight to it. So the ego is like that. It's like we're all co creating this fantasy, this illusion that we're all separate in some way but beyond our planet, on any planet that's above ours in consciousness, you know, enlightened civilizations, enlightenment is just a normal way of being. It's not some extreme grandiose thing. It's just like, yeah, welcome to the universe. It's all one. There's only one being. It's all connected. Like this is obvious stuff, but not on our planet, because we're under this matrix of ego consciousness. So the ego has you in that regard, just like Neo, right, In the movie. He wakes up in this eggshell thing, he's got plugs in him. It's like ego has its plugs in you based on all these detrimental beliefs that you're congruent with. And so if we know that every program that the ego matrix installs in your mind, I call themselves, they're like miniature identities. We all have tons of little identities, right? Every single identity of the ego runs on this exact sequence. It's kind of the meta level of all egos, all selves, and it's every single identity, every self is born in the mind as the mind's solution to a problem. And the problem that it's trying to solve is the problem of lack. Lack is the first belief of the ego. I'm lacking something. As soon as the mind perceives that there's some basic need that's not being met, I'm lacking love, safety, provision, connection, purpose. But some kind of lack must be there for an ego identity to form. And then as soon as there's a lack belief, the program is created and off the sequence goes. Lack implies attachment, and then attachment implies control. So as soon as I think I'm lacking love, then I have to be attached to getting love from other people. I need people to love me. And then I will have all kinds of controlling behaviors and behavior patterns about how I go about getting that love. People pleasing, shape shifting, being overly agreeable. There's tons of ways the ego acts out its program. And so we can get a bit lost in the sauce. If we're trying to look at the surface level of our behaviors, what we should really do is identify the underlying sequence. What do I believe I'm lacking? What am I attached to? And how do I try to control getting that attachment? So we can start from the behavioral level and say, you know, why am I such a people pleaser all the time? I'm so over the top with my people pleasing. Okay, that must be a self, a program. So if I'm trying to people please, what must I be attached to? You take it one step back. Well, I must be attached to how other people view me. I'm attached to people liking me, right? Well, based on that attachment, what must I believe I'm lacking? I'm lacking acceptance. And as soon as you kind of see the sequence, you can put it together really quick and you can identify all these different little selves you have and actually keep a, I call a selves journal of the different selves I've identified. And I identify the sequence of that self. What it believes it's lacking, what it's attached to, how it controls that. And then I give it a name like the unfulfilled self or since leaving Christianity, I developed a save yourself. It's up to me to save everyone from Christianity, you know, And I have nine different identities that I do work on every day to try to slowly become more and more incongruent with them and more congruent with what I call the Christ nature, my true divine essence, which is lacking nothing, is fully connected to God, fully in love, and in service to all beings. That's my true nature. And I want to be as congruent with that as I can. But I have to become incongruent with all these ego identities for that to happen, because they're perfect opposites. So really it's all about congruency to me. What are you most congruent with? And when we get to these three beliefs that every identity you hold is built on this sequence of these three beliefs or functions, you can quickly start to identify all these little selves and programs in your mind and you can watch yourself sort of click into these different iterations of identities and just start to distance yourself just by the very seeing of them. Oh, there's the unfulfilled self at work. Oh, there's the deprived self. Oh, there's the savior self. And now you're just watching programs rather than saying, oh, that's me, and being identified. Right. And caught up in the program.
A
I love that. And it fits in well with how I hold things as well. Doing spiritual psychology. So what are the different identities that I think that I am? And of course, I wouldn't feel. I would feel lacking because I think I'm a separate self. So it's. There is something lacking, which is me, the truth of me. And so that's feedback that suffering is like, yeah, you don't feel enough because that's not who you really are. You are lacking in that moment, the awareness of who you really are. And so identifying the different ways that that can play out, I think is helpful. It's like, oh, I'm lacking. Just that framework is helpful, because then it's like, okay, what do I need more of if I'm lacking? I need more of me. I need more of the real me. And then there's no problem. There's no looking for something in the world to save me or to fix me or, you know, from you. We go to the root. And I really hear your reverse engineering it, and I love that. And one of the things that I love that you talk about, you've. We've mentioned a few times, for people that don't know what is the law of.
B
The Law of One is a channeled text from the 1980s from a group of extraterrestrial researchers who were trying to figure out the UFO phenomenon in their day. In the 70s, there was a lot of UFO activity. And this group of people, about 12 of them, started to say, I wonder if we can communicate with these extraterrestrial beings through channeling. Maybe they're telepathic, right? And they're. They're so evolved, they can read our minds and stuff. And so they started channeling and trying to establish contact, and they had no luck, because their big mistake was it was all a group of all men doing this channeling. And maybe, you know, they didn't probably know this as well back in the 70s like we do now, but it's my opinion that women tend to be much better channelers than men. Naturally, most channeled works come through women. It's just kind of the feminine gifting. And that's not to say Men can't channel. They can, but it's just more, it's easier for women to do it as women are more of a psychic gender than the male gender is, I think. And so they got the first woman in the group who's a girlfriend of one of the guys, and she was like, wow, this is really cool. Can I, can you guys teach me how to channel? And they're like, oh, sure. And they teach her a little bit about channeling. And within I think a few months, she gets this contact from this remarkable being that identified itself as Ra. And Ra was. They explained that this is the name we were given. It's not what we call ourselves, but this is the name we were given by the Egyptians 12,000 some odd years ago when they visited the Egyptians and built the pyramids and stuff. So they still use the name that our planet last gave them, which makes sense. They call themselves a sixth density social memory complex. So we talked about fourth density. So humanity right now is trying to become a fourth density planet. So when 51% or more of the people on this planet are living from the heart, we will technically be a fourth density civilization. So we're probably somewhere like 500 to a thousand years away from that. But Ra, this entity, is a sixth density social memory complex. So they're from a planet that is in the sixth density, which is the third eye chakra of spiritual perception and balance and oneness and unity. So they're a very, very advanced ET civilization. And they actually say that they're the civilization from the planet Venus, that their, their civilization started on that planet. And in 2019, NASA actually confirmed this. Some astronomers from NASA confirmed this. They put out a report that said NASA astronomers confirmed that something like 2 billion years ago, Venus was in the Goldilocks zone and would have been very habitable for life. And they had oceans and all kinds of stuff. And in the 1980s, ra actually said this, that about 2 billion years ago their civilization started on Venus. And they had just like our planet, oceans and life and third density like we are. And they evolved very rapidly through the densities. So it's a kind of question and answer text channel text from a ET civilization that was born on the planet Venus 2 billion years ago. And they're asking them about the nature of the universe and the laws of the universe. And you just get what I think is the most remarkable answers on any question of cosmology you could wonder about from reincarnation. What are planets? What are stars? Why is the universe built this way? That text in particular, just has a really unique way of satisfying all these existential questions we have about the nature of our universe.
A
Fascinating. And do you think that connects with how the pyramids were built?
B
That's what they say, yeah.
A
Amazing. Yeah. I'm going to dive deeper into it. You've brought a lot of curiosity around it. And I know we were talking about the first three chakras moving into the fourth. Can you just explain for us how 4D consciousness connects to the chakra system? So we do the full round of it.
B
So we've described fourth density consciousness. That's heart chakra, heart based consciousness. Fifth density would be the wisdom density of the throat chakra. I guess I'll back up and say some people are like, what is a density, dude? What are you talking about? A density refers to the speed of vibration of the photon. So if I have a photon that's vibrating 100 times per second, and then I have another photon that's vibrating a million times per second, which photon is producing more density of light? The million times. So the more, the faster a photon is vibrating, the more dense with light it is. And we know that light is information. So the more information there is, the more ability consciousness has to express itself. So you can see the densities as well, the levels of consciousness expressing itself in the universe. So the first density correlates to the root chakra, the red ray, and that is the density of beingness they call it. So it correlates to the four elements of earth, water, fire and air. And every universe, every new big bang that starts begins in the first density of just these four elements. Right? And planets slowly form, stars form planets around the stars, oceans form. And consciousness spends at least on our planet, at least 2 billion years or something like that before any second density life forms begin to evolve. But once there is an organism in an environment, that signals the beginning of second density. So something like microbial life life or ancient plasma, I don't know, any kind of single cell organism that split off and became intelligent and now is some kind of individual entity in an environment that is the beginning of second density. And we know that that happened somewhere around 2 billion years ago, as our science shows us. So that spans another 2 billion years until we get to the third density. So everything from again, microbial life, through plant life, ocean, animal life, that whole spectrum is second density correlating to the second energy center. And the second energy center is what makes you a human being. It's what makes you an individual. Personal desires, personal emotions and feelings. So It's a very individualistic density. And then when, like I said, consciousness flips in on itself and becomes aware. Oh, I exist, I am. That's the beginning of third density, which is the density of self awareness. Second density is the density of awareness. Forgot to mention that third density is the density of self awareness. And that's when again, you know you exist and you can contemplate your own existence, past, future and so forth. So fourth density then is when we become heart centered beings. Fifth density is when we start to balance wisdom with our love. So the wisdom density is a very, I don't want to say intellectual density, but it's where all the mysteries of the universe and the metaphysics of reality become accessible. So the, the fifth density being is actually a pure light body. The law of one says a fourth density being. They describe more like the way we see extraterrestrials depicted. Very, sometimes very tall, very thin bodies, huge heads with huge black almond eyes, very small nose, very small mouth. You get this classic ET Depiction. Well, that's because that's what most fourth density beings essentially look like. Because when you develop telepathy and you can read minds, you don't need to talk anymore because everyone's talking in their minds. They also begin taking in light from the sun as food and sustenance. Their subtle body pathways open up, so eating dense food and hard matter isn't as necessary. The more you get into fourth density and the more you're just taking in light so you have less need to eat. So teeth begin to evolve out of the equation. The mouth gets smaller, and the senses are so extraordinary that even smells, you don't even need much of a nose anymore to smell because you have that psychic perception that's way beyond that. So the brain gets bigger, the eyes get bigger, and we know that our pupil in the center is the black part. That's the camera shutter, right? That takes in the light. Well, think about how much light we're able to take in on the electromagnetic spectrum compared to an ET with those huge black almond dyes. They're taking in exponentially wider range of the light spectrum than we are. So they're seeing our auras, the chakras, the seven colors of the aura, and probably other stuff we can't imagine. They're very advanced, right? Biologically. So that's a fourth density being. To give you an idea, fifth density is where the body becomes so electromagnetic, so full of light, that it just becomes essentially pure electromagnetic energy. So we call them orbs. But most fifth density Beings, when they travel around or when they're moving around, they're just an orb of light, like a locus of consciousness, a very bright light. And there's been a lot of ET encounters documented of people that encounter these orbs, floating orbs of light. Sometimes they're different colors, but the law of one says fifth density beings tend to be white light, whereas sixth density density beings tend to be more of a golden yellowish light. So that's interesting, but I was actually just watching the new Bob Lazar documentary on Amazon. It's called S4, and it's like a. I think it's like an AI rendered reenactment of his story as he's telling it, of all the stuff he witnessed working in Area 51. And he says a bunch of things in this documentary I'd never heard him say before. And one of them really stood out that fits into this map of evolution, which is, he said, I was debriefed or told that the extraterrestrial beings in this craft I was back engineering and working on, had been experimented on. They'd done autopsies and stuff on these ET bodies. And he said that they told him that when they cut open the ET's body, their entire organ system was connected. There was no, like separate individual organs like ours are. It was just like one hybrid system of organs, all tubes, you know, connected to each other. I was like, wow, look at that. It perfectly matches the trajectory of evolution that we go from this dense, hairy animal body, more and more of a hairless body, with bigger brains, more psychic capacity, and even the very organs in our body are going to continually merge together to become one thing, and eventually they just become pure light. And you can kind of see the logic of the system evolving from dense matter to pure, pure light or electromagnetic energy. So that's the path we're currently on. And sixth density is also a light body, but a more powerful light body that's capable of more things. Bilocation, teleportation, all these things that are very sci fi to us is totally normal to a sixth density being. And then the seventh density is the crown chakra density, and they call it the gateway density. And they say we don't actually know much about the seventh density because they're only in the sixth density still. But they say they do have seventh density teachers who are helping them and help guide them towards seventh density evolution. But it's a very difficult density to evolve through. I think they said it's average duration is like 75 million years. So you Live a lot longer and you serve in the universe in a lot larger capacities at those higher densities. So like serving an entire planetary civilization will at some point be your duty as a sixth density being. You have to keep increasing the capacity of your service until you become, you know, a seventh density galaxy or whatever it looks like, you know. So it's just a really fascinating view of the nature of evolution and reincarnation in our universe.
A
Yeah. And I love how detailed you explain things, so thank you for that. And I, and I'm, I'm also kind of thinking back to the original conversation that we were talking about. Can you speak to Christ consciousness and how somebody can access that more fully?
B
What I mean by that is fourth density consciousness. Because I believe that Yeshua, the Nazarene Jesus was, the law of one says he was a fourth density being who had just graduated to the fifth density in his previous lifetime. But instead of choosing to begin his next fifth density lifetime on a fifth density planet somewhere, he chose to become a starseed and go back to a third density planet that was in a dire need of help, which was our planet obviously, in the first century in Galilee. And the law of one calls this being a wanderer. It's somebody who wanders out of their native density to go back into the third density to be of service to this, to a struggling planet. Third density is the only density of planets of the seven that has what they call the veil of forgetting around it. So when you incarnate into a third density planet, this is true of any third density planet in the universe, apparently you don't get to keep your soul memory of who am I, why did I come here? Past lives, all that stuff is washed away and you have to actually organically enter into this planetary civilization as one of them. And hopefully your frequency is high enough that you start to remember, you know, there's something beyond this. I'm something beyond this. And you can actually wake up to the truth of who you are and then be of service to that planet with a higher frequency. But to do that, you gotta run the risk of plunging into the maelstrom. Right. And risking getting caught up maybe in the wheel of Samsara. But Yeshua was a wanderer who wanted to be of service to our planet and was extraordinarily successful to say the least. And so, because the law of one says that, I really do see, even though he was technically a fifth density being, he was the perfection of fourth density. He had finished his fourth density learning. And one of the hallmarks of fourth density that RA talks about is that the fourth density is also called the service to others density, because it's the density where the soul really realizes oh my true purpose in life is to be of service to others. And that's the greatest sense of fulfillment, is to join myself with the whole and live to bless others, not just myself. And so the zeal for service is extremely high in fourth density. And eventually it has to be balanced with more of the wisdom and individuality of the fifth density. But through that whole fourth density cycle, fourth density beings travel around the universe looking for planets like ours to be of service to and help them evolve without infringing and getting involved too much. So that's why I think Most of the UFOs we see on our planet are probably fourth density extraterrestrial beings who are coming here to be of service. Because again, fifth and sixth density beings are just light bodies. So they don't need UFO craft, they don't need to fly around in a metal object that can just teleport through thought, right? So Jesus was the demonstration of what a fourth density being should look like. And so it's kind of a, kind of boggles the mind a bit, right? To think that even though Jesus was a fully enlightened master, he was not like the highest possible ascended being in the universe. And I mean the soul of Yeshua, the individual soul. But I think when we say the term Christ, we're now talking about something distinct from Jesus or Yeshua the person. I think that Yeshua was the man, the person, but Christ was the consciousness he was accessing and demonstrating. So the Christ is to me the sort of divine idea of man. In God's mind everything has a perfect idea. In the divine mind, it's called a teleological idea or destiny. Everything has a telos, a per, an end goal of this is the most perfected version of this creation of God. Everything is evolving towards that perfect idea. And Jesus I think embodied that right. He demonstrated this is the ultimate expression of what God created man to be. In that if we were all living as aligned with the Creator as Yeshua was, we would all have lived and done the same things. Our whole planet would be full of Jesuses in that way. So he was modeling what is available for all of us. And so Christ consciousness is that to me, it's being aware of that Christ nature. Even as the Bible says, let the same mind be in you. That was also in Christ Jesus, who did not think it robbery to be called one with God or Equal with God. That is actually Paul writes that in Corinthians, and that is actually Paul quoting one of the oldest Nazarene creeds that we know of. Paul is quoting from something when he reads that. And it was what the original Nazarene disciples, some kind of hymn or creed that they had come up with that earlier, early Christians were repeating, let the same mind be in you. That was also in Christ Jesus, who did not think it was robbery to be called one with God. I mean, that is Christ consciousness. If anything is.
A
It's beautiful. You, again, just have such a clear map of how to communicate these things, and it's such a gift. So thank you just for your willingness to share. I think in closing, if there's anything that you feel would serve people to speak, speak to that I haven't asked. I just want to give you the space to do that in closing.
B
Yeah. And thank you very much for the kind words as well. I will definitely leave the audience with this. On this note, one of the other core teachings in 40 you and in my book the Free Beliefs of ego, that I think this is the ultimate Christ code, is this whole idea or framework, if you like, of relationship. So when we say all is one or the term oneness, it's like, you know, what do we mean by that? Are we saying everything is identical? No, we're not saying that. Are we saying we just live in this homogeneous universe where there's no differentiation? No, we're not saying that. So then what are we saying when we say all is one? Well, I think what we're saying is all things exist in relationship, and relationship is a metaphysical principle that gets overlooked completely by the ego or by ego consciousness. But in order for you to experience anything, you must be in relationship to it. My computer mouse, I have to touch it with my hand and be aware of it. You know, my phone that I read, the water I drink, the thoughts I think, the air I breathe, the person I'm podcasting with, you are in relationship with everything at all times, and you can't get out of this. Right? There's nothing in the universe that exists outside of relationship, not one single thing. And I challenge people to do this, if you don't believe me, try to identify one thing. I think of one thing in the universe that exists in a true state of total isolation from everything else. And what I can. I can spoil the answer for you is that you will not be able to find anything. So once we know that this is a principle, the question should be, what is the Right Kind of relationship to be in with anything that keeps me congruent with reality, with the universe, with the Creator. And it's of course, loving relationship. So loving relationship, that framework is the best again, Christ code for accessing Christ consciousness. Because I think all ascended beings, all enlightened masters, at some point you run into this metaphysical understanding, you go, oh, everything is relationship. And so really, if I just focus my awareness on that fact that I am in relationship to everything I experience, and if I don't choose what kind of relationship to be in the default mode, network will choose it for me, the ego. And it will always choose some kind of detrimental relationship. And the detrimental relationship the ego always chooses is what we call the victim triangle, right? You have the victim, the victimizer and the hero. That's the only relationship ego knows is how to be one of those three things. I'll be the victim, I'll be the victimizer, or I'll be the hero rescuing a victim. But round and round we go of the separate self universe, right? So I need to start choosing my relationship and choosing to be in loving relationship. And so loving relationship. A Course in Miracles describes love as the state of giving and receiving. And it says that giving and receiving are actually one and the same thing. And it says to give and to receive are one in truth. And so to understand what those two states are is very simple. And again, they're not really two states, but our mind kind of needs us to break it down like that, right? So the state of giving just means you show up to be of service, right? Your first motive, your first intention is not for yourself, like, what can I get out of this moment? But it's actually, who can I help? Who can I bless? How can I be of service? Because that actually is you serving yourself, right? As Jesus said, the measure you give is the measure you get back. So if you want to be helped, help another. If you want to be loved, love another. So you are serving yourself when you serve others. But the negative polarity of consciousness is all about serving the self at the cost of others. So taking from others and withholding good from people. So that's the ego's version of relationship, is taking and keeping. And that's the victim triangle, right? Whereas love is giving and receiving. So giving is, I'm here to help, how can I be of service? Just like drill that attitude right into your mind, into your heart. And. And then receiving just means accepting, just living in acceptance of what is. I don't resist, I don't judge, I just Receive everything as it arises in this moment with love and understanding. So if we can master how to be in that state of giving and receiving, like just make that your only spiritual practice, I promise you it will produce more noticeable fruit and development than just about anything else will. Because my personal view now of enlightenment, what that even means is enlightenment is not, to me, a state that you achieve at some point after enough spiritual practice or something. Enlightenment is an ability. And if I have to define what that ability is, I would say enlightenment is the ability to be in loving relationship with everything at all times. That's really the one goal I think we all have to focus on for all ultimate spiritual development is let me every moment over and over again, choose to be in a loving relationship with this moment, with the person right in front of me, with the problem that I'm facing, with the pain I'm feeling. Can you just be in loving relationship to it? It doesn't mean it's not hard, doesn't mean it's not challenging. Those things can still exist and you can still be in loving relationship to the pain and to the challenge. And to me, that's. That's liberation, if anything is, that's beautiful.
