Foreign. Bible Q A sessions. It's Matt and Top, AKA half of the new Mount Crushmore homies. Congratulations to the boys.
A
What's up?
B
Did you guys know that they won the Mount Crushmore?
A
Wait, I wasn't even sure we're gonna announce that yet.
B
We have to announce. I'm talking about.
A
I don't think David knows.
B
Yeah, he does.
A
No, he doesn't.
B
He looks like he's in a third grade family picture.
A
Has he answered us, though?
B
You only sent it to me.
A
No, I sent it to.
B
No, there's a double chat and you sent it to the chat to just me. On accident, I think. Oh, what time did you send it?
A
Yeah, like he knows.
B
There's no way he's not on the tweeter and knows already.
A
Well, I should tell David we made it to Mount Rushmore.
B
Exactly.
A
My bad.
B
Better straight late than never.
A
That's very disrespectful, right? To not even text David about it.
B
Okay, well, that's. That is what it is, dude.
A
But that picture there is us lot. That. That's live at the show. So Johnny Woodard sent it to me, so they had it on, like, the big screen.
B
That's very cool. You look like you're 80 and he looks like he's in a third grade family picture.
A
Look at the smile.
B
I love that. I love that.
A
This is dope.
B
You guys crushed.
A
We crushed. We crushed so hard.
B
I don't know how I fell into
A
this, man, we kind of cheated.
B
I'm a lucky guy.
A
I Feel like we cheated a little bit.
B
You didn't.
A
No. No.
B
You got a big fan base, dude. What are you gonna do? What do you think? Other people weren't doing whatever you were doing?
A
I don't think so.
B
Yeah, they were.
A
I don't think anybody else cared.
B
People are very desirous to be on Mount Rushmore, bro. Well, a lot of people.
A
Well, we're on it now, so we're on it forever. And that. That's great.
B
Yes.
A
I'm happy about it. I'm happy about it. But. But you were asking, like, why do I treat this show like the redheaded stepchild?
B
Yeah, you really do. That's why. I get it.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't blame you.
A
Get on Mount Crush more.
B
Okay.
A
Get on my. Get on my levels when I'm saying that.
B
That's fair enough. That's never enough.
A
It's never enough. All right, guys, we have a good Q A session here. I did a little bit of production, too, so we could pull up the questions in a nice, organized way. Do you want to get into it or.
B
Yeah, yeah, let's go into it. Sorry, I've got to stop reading the chat. Pandora's Box 369 just came across us because of your Vince thing. And then now, past few days made many puzzle pieces fit. We like that. That's what we like. The whole. That's what the Bible is. Is like puzzle pieces.
A
Oh, that's right. I recognize you. Pandora's box 3, 6, 9. Yeah, you're a fan of Vince, so, man, I'd like to talk to you. Why the hell are you here? Because you didn't like what we were saying.
B
No, no. But now they're saying that puzzle pieces. You know how it is when you meet somebody the first time and you assume a thing about the way they look, the way they talk?
A
That's how you read the chat. Matt, good job.
B
I know. I always do it, bro.
A
Vince is actually this morning. It's interesting. Vince is coming at us again.
B
No, he's not like that.
A
Yeah. I'm like, dude, okay.
B
But she's.
A
But she.
B
I love what she said because it is like the Bible is like putting puzzle pieces together. People are always like, why is your style, like, cross referencing so much stuff? Because that's what you have to do. You can't read a passage and say, I think it means this. You say, okay, I think it means this. And it's supported by this, this, this, and this. It's kind of like that game Bella used to crush me at when she was a little kid, when she was her friends.
A
No.
B
You know when you lay out all the cards and you flip them over?
A
Hate that game, dude.
B
I thought I liked it, but when she was 4, she would crush me.
A
You know what it is? Little kids are really good. I hate the game because my kids crushed me at this game, too, okay?
B
Because I flipped the table one time and yelled at her until I never play again. I didn't know if I was the only one. But little kids get.
A
They get very serious about it because, like, that's all their focus is on, is, like, where was the last apple?
B
No, she wasn't even serious. She was, like, so playful. And so she'd be like this, like. Like, I'd flip one, and she'd look at me, and she'd be like, yeah, I flipped the wrong one. And she'd be like, before I even, like, went to flip them back, she'd flip them back and pick the next, like, five in a row. I'd be like, I hate this game.
A
My son would do that and actively talk to me.
B
I love that flip.
A
And he'd be like, not that one.
B
But that's what the Bible is like. You got to be able to flip that one and then reference another passage in your mind and then reference three or four or five more. So, like, that's what we're doing here.
A
Thank God the Bible is more. It's not just, like, an apple. Like, because that, to me, is unappealing. When I flip the apple, I've immediately forgotten it once I flip it back. But with the Bible, at least, like, there are stories that really do stick. They hit you. So I guess Pandora got hit there. But yeah, he. This morning, it. I don't know, man. Whatever we did in that episode, like,
B
had an effect on him.
A
Yeah, it. It's the same thing. It stuck with him because he's going back and he's digging up, like, other things from other people.
B
You guys gonna have him on again? Because I know at the end of the day, you love to rag people, but there's people that, at the end of the day, you don't like. And there's people. At the end of the day, you're like, I still like this. I like you. Yeah. Yeah.
A
And I told him we'd have him on, like, but it would have been, like, a. It's like, a fun episode. I'm not gonna have him on to do, like, what are we gonna do? Like, yeah, Bible research with you. Like, not. He's not there. And I thought he was like letting it go. But then this morning, again, it's just one of these things and I think that's like when you have like this whisper in your ear, we talk about the girl. AI, I, I think it's worse than that. I think that's like, I think it's some, somewhat of an entity.
B
Yeah, but it's operating through that.
A
AI, I don't think it's even operating through that. I think it's just in him at this point. But it's like if you wake up angry and then go scoop through your buddies, your buddy's two, two and a half hour interview to find something about Jesus, to then bring it and post it and tag me, and I'm like, man, something's wrong, dude. Yeah, like you gotta look at that. And this, this time it was about the whole Jesus being a pedophile thing.
B
Oh yeah. And, and can you imagine having to give an account for that at the judgment seat?
A
I mean, if people have never.
B
It's just rough if you've never heard
A
it and somebody said it and you go, oh, okay, I gotta, wow, that's crazy.
B
Okay, but okay, so now you're touching on a major topic, which is you have to read the whole Bible.
A
Right?
B
That's what we're talking about with these puzzle pieces and with the memory game where you flip them and somebody tells you a verse out of context, you go, wait, what does it mean that. Because you just told me, it means that this is why people have to read a Bible.
A
Yeah.
B
Cover to cover. And the Internet's full of people who have like these serious doctrines and they know everything about this doctrine and they never read the whole Bible, so they don't even have any clue. The things that they don't know.
A
It's my favorite thing, like online when somebody posts a scripture, because they'll post it like to throw at you. And now more than ever, I've been looking at it, I'm like, I'm actually familiar with these scriptures and the ones before and after. So let's keep reading. And then I'll post the whole chapter and context.
B
Context, because there's context of a verse. Yeah, the whole chapter, that whole letter, or that whole book itself. But then even greater than that is the context of the entirety of scripture. And that's what a lot of people are missing, man. A lot of people are missing that shout out Panda, because I know she's reading the whole Bible. Like that's the way to do it. That's the way to do it. Like, the days are going to keep going. Like, all of a sudden, it's going to be six months from now. So if you read a couple chapters a day, you're going to be way through the Bible six months from now. And six months is going to be like that. Yeah, so you just do that. It's like Groundhog's Day. He lives the same day over and over in a certain way. We kind of live days just over and over and over. So pick a thing, stick to it every day. Could be Bible stuff, it could be food, forest stuff. It could be whatever. Just plug away at it.
A
Podcast.
B
Podcast. Next thing you know, you're on Mount Rushmore.
A
Next thing you know, Dog.
B
How do we get the. How do we get the questions? Let's go. We got to go in order, because that's the right thing to do.
A
In order.
B
Yeah, that's the right thing to do. Because people, you know, when we say, you want to do it, if nobody responds back, then we don't really have a show.
A
So the first question is a disrespectful question. I don't really want to ask it.
B
No, I don't care. What.
A
I care.
B
What is the. There was a disrespectful one.
A
You can read it.
B
Oh, I love that one. That's a. That's a man who is locked in right there. Dude, when you get in the zone, you get in the zone there. Well, that wasn't really mean. It was the comments that came after it about pigeon toe and things like that. That was a little inappropriate.
A
Yeah. Somebody actually said that this is a diagnosis of autism, and they might be right. I'm not sure. Somebody else said I'm hiding my hands, so that.
B
Yeah, I really like that one.
A
They can't see that I'm sneakily rubbing them. I don't know. I was sitting like that. I think you were locked in.
B
You have a childlike nature. Like, you hate that because you love to be Mr. Mean. I don't want to be.
A
I don't want to make excuses for this feminine way of sitting, but I do think that there was, like, a lot of stuff around me, and I was conscious of, like, moving around. Like, I don't think my feminine.
B
Bro. I think you're just locked.
A
This is a little bit feminine. My knees are touching. I feel feminine looking at it. But there's a microphone stand there that I don't want to kick because it'll turn and it'll also activate the mic.
B
Like, oh, yeah.
A
If I hit it there's wires all around me and stuff, so, like, I'm.
B
We all know the type.
A
The people that feel enclosed in Sancho.
B
Yeah, how about that?
A
Next question? I don't like this question.
B
All right. Do you have all the questions? Because sometimes I don't know if you like.
A
Yeah, I put all the questions that are good. Somebody asked two questions.
B
The raven still hasn't responded.
A
He doesn't know. He's. He's doing his thing. He has no idea, you know, by
B
doing his thing, you mean napping?
A
I don't know what he's doing. He's visiting. I think he's visiting family right now, but he's taking his. What. What do we call that? Like a sabbatical? He does a. The Sabbath. Is that a sabbatical?
B
Just on regular days, yeah.
A
What day is it today? Friday. Oh, it's Juneteenth. This is a big deal for David.
B
Okay, here we go. Here's the questions.
A
Wait, wait, wait. I have the questions pulled up.
B
I know, but sometimes you do them out of order. Dude. I.
A
No, no, no, no. Put that away. Because I actually typed all this stuff in. Yeah, I did.
B
So it's not the redheaded stepchild. I finally gave you a hard enough time that you're like, yeah, I do care.
A
Read the question. Matthew.
B
How do we best defend the divinity of Jesus using Jesus Christ? Using Scripture, fj, fool. Well, for starters, you go to the passages where he says that he's God, right? In Mark, he did. They say, tell us if you're the Messiah. And he says, I am. When he stands before Pilate, he says, my kingdom isn't of this world because if it was, my people would fight. You go to the passages where people bowed and worshiped him like the rich young ruler. Which is how we think about Vince, too. The rich young ruler. Remember, he came and he said, what must I do to be saved? Right? He ran to him. He bowed to him. Jesus didn't say, don't bow to me. Right? He accepted worship. So, you know, but like we said, that's not the end of that story. He says, oh, do this, that, that, and this. He says, okay, but one more thing. You got to go sell all you have. And then he walks away sad. But that's not the end of the story. So same for a guy like Vince or Pandora's Box or whatever. Dude, for people, you never know where they're at in the story, so you can't just start trashing people because the way they're acting right now just got to watch the story unfold a little bit.
A
But speaking of where you're at in the story, you wanted me to pull some stuff up yesterday. Do you want to talk about that? I wasn't able to, but.
B
Hold on. Also, you want to talk about Mount
A
Crush more, but you want to talk about that?
B
No, we can't. But I just want to. Also, in the beginning of John's gospel, it says in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And then as you continue to read John 1, it's clearly talking about Jesus. So. But that. But that's another thing where, like, if. See, I just don't know why you'd have to defend the divinity of Christ with someone who cares what the Bible says. Because how did he ask the question? He said, how do you defend the divinity of Christ? Like, by using the Bible. Yeah. I mean, any. Anybody who's thinking that Jesus is not God is probably also not going to care what the scriptures say.
A
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, like, immediately what comes to mind. It might be a basic answer, but it's just like, okay, the holy God hovered over Mary and. And breathed his spirit into her, and then Jesus was born.
B
Yeah. Like, say. Say you took these passages and explained them into Vince. Yeah, he's not gonna care. He's not gonna care. By the Bible, there's a leap of
A
faith that somebody has to have taken and understood already. Yeah. Otherwise the Bible is just words to them, which is kind of sad.
B
Yeah, but that's. But that. Amen. But that's why we need to be born again. That's why we need God to remove the scales from our eyes. That's why we need to be brought to life so that we can comprehend spiritual things. But. Yeah, that's a solid question, man.
A
All right, next question. Let's see. This is from Ishmael Fasting. This is a lot of. There's a lot of words.
B
You want to get the thing out of the way or not?
A
You want to.
B
Yeah, no, I just wanted you to pull up my mug shot because I don't want it to, like, be turned into a meme without us doing it first.
A
Somebody's gonna find it Now.
B
I don't care.
A
I didn't feel like paying for whatever.
B
You didn't have to pay to get it. I've had people pull it up and send it to me.
A
I guess I'm not good at finding this chat. There you go. Go find it. There's a mug shot of Matt out There somewhere. And if you find it, I love that.
B
Really stupid in it too, bro. Yeah, super stupid. My boy Gabe owed me some money for like a side job I did for him. So we were doing this Best Buy down here and it was brand new.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
You know, the Best Buy that's just right down the road. Bunch of blue carpet tiles and stuff. And he hits me up at like noon. He's like, want to grab lunch real quick, man, and I'll. And I'll get you paid. I was like, yeah, cool. So we met up at the Chili's right there that we met up at before. And just at like noon. I had been snorting oxy all morning, like working, doing the Best Buy. And then I don't even remember what we were drinking, but it wasn't beer. It was just. It was like straight liquor. And dude, from like. We must have started like noon or two somewhere in there. Sometime by the night, I just completely time traveled. I have no, like blacked out from Chili's, no recollection of like leaving Chili's. And then I came to like, on the curb. I can't remember if I was in cuffs or not. I came to in the curb, on the curb. It was like yelling something, somebody. And I like looked at Gabe and Gabe was like, dude, shut up.
A
Was it. Were you just acting belligerent or you're fighting people?
B
Gabe was kicking the garbage can. No, I. I honestly have no recollection. But the. But the qui.
A
Gon says I've done this before, but
B
the arrest report said that I was in the fountain. Like, you know, the fountain O. Oh, yeah. I could see that if I was just like blacked out, wasted. Like I'm. I live on.
A
What's that fountain for if not to go in? It's so big.
B
I don't know, dude, but I think I got like down in my underwear and was just like laying in the fountain. So that's what the. So and which I didn't know any of that until, you know, Jess had to pick me up, dude, USA just had to pick me up at, you know, the Lake County Jails in like Eustace or Mount Door, one of those towns over there. I can't remember which. So she had to come get me at like 2 or 3 in the morning. By the time I like, pretend they took me there, we were there. Like, got a hold of her, she came and got me. And we're driving home and I'm just trying to like, you know, like, sleep or whatever. She just, erupts. In laughter. She just starts laughing. I'm like, aiden. Aiden was in the car. Aiden was, like, just born, so Aiden was in the car. My little cousin BJ was what happened to be staying with us at the time. He stayed at the house with Bella because Bella would have been like two or three.
A
Yeah.
B
And she just erupts in laughter. I'm like, what? Like, what? And she's like, it says you were. Had your clothes off in the fountain. I was like, what?
A
Incredible.
B
Yeah, so I just ran, you know, I was in there swimming, man.
A
It's a Florida man story. It's very Florida man.
B
It's very embarrassing, but I'm just saying, I feel like we. I would rather us bring it up than, like, somebody bring it up later or somebody in the chat. That's cool too.
A
Yeah. Oh, you mean like a naysayer?
B
Yeah. Well, I'm not embarrassed of it. I'm. I'm like. I think it's a witness of the born again experience. It's like, especially if you see the picture. Like, if I look at that picture of that guy, I'm like, I love that guy. That guy's like a little brother to me or like a little cousin, but that's not me. Like. Like, I've been born again. And I love that guy. And I know him. I know everything he's been through, and I remember how bad that was to be that guy. But, like, I'm not that guy. So, like, I'm not embarrassed about it, but I just didn't want it to come up in some weird way,
A
as
B
opposed to us bringing it up.
A
Okay. I like that.
B
I like blue carpet tiles. Crush 5673. Yeah. No, dude, they fly. You know what's funny is, like, you couldn't screw a carpet tile job up 20 years ago if you tried. Then they started putting all this recycled material into the backing of carpet tiles, and carpet tile jobs failed left and right, dude. Because they just wouldn't go with the glue. There's just weird toxins coming out of those recycled plasticizers and stuff. And it would just. You get bubbled up stuff, and it became a nightmare. It used to be so easy to do carpet tiles.
A
I don't like blue tile either. I used to work at Best Buy. Traumatizing. I don't even really go into Best Buy, but.
B
All right, how's this live? The date says six, eight top.
A
Does it?
B
Yeah.
A
Well, this is. We're time traveling. I made a mistake.
B
I'm into that.
A
Here we go.
B
Who can read that.
A
I know, it's very tiny. This is. So this dude here wrote two questions, but I'm only reading one.
B
No, we'll take them all. No, where did you pick up all your technical skills? You're super competent, and it's impressive where all that come from.
A
Oh, like my skills on how to do this stuff?
B
Yeah.
A
I don't know. Just like, a lifetime of working with audio equipment and a lot of stuff from church stuff. Some church stuff. But I. I did stagehand work for, like, major companies. I set up major events for. I set up. What's that called? Fashion Week. Like, three times. So, you know in New York City. Yeah. Like, one on the Chelsea Pier. One in some, like, stadium that was
B
in, like, the javits. Did you do some of the javits
A
or not at the javits? I missed that one. They did something there. But, like. Yeah, so I've been working with audio equipment like that. Like, that's major audio equipment. This stuff is smaller, but there's some learning curves to it. And then there's also new stuff always coming out. So it's like constantly learning new stuff. And then I don't know if you really want to know what this stuff is. It's very simple to find out. You can. You can figure it out. You can Google.
B
But another way you do it is determination. Dude, you're just determined, like, you're not gonna lose at anything that you say you're not gonna lose at. So if, like, this is a realm that you want to be good at, like, you're gonna be good at it.
A
Yeah, but that's the case for anything and anybody.
B
No, most people are not like that. Most people like doing stuff bad.
A
Every. Yeah, no, you could accept doing stuff bad, but, you know, everybody has the capacity or the ability to do stuff good. And especially, I guess, whatever your aim is, you know, if you're. If your aim is that. If we're doing this for God, in a sense, then why would I do it halfway is the question.
B
Well, if your whole life is for God, though, that's what I'm saying, like, don't do anything half ass. Your marriage shouldn't be half ass. Your parenting shouldn't be half ass. What you do at your job. And I would argue that, like, I try to explain this to the kids here. I'm like, you think you're doing your job half ass, but it's no big deal because you get paid the same either way as long as you get your hours in. But I promise you it will affect every other thing in your life.
A
Yeah.
B
Promise. You cannot half ass one thing and do other stuff to the fullest. The universe just doesn't work like that.
A
It's funny, I was telling you yesterday about somebody that approached me, was kind of hostile about the show and they go, what do you think? You think that you're doing? You think that, like, your stuff glorifies God? And there was like 15 things that came across my head to say to this person to cut them down. And I just said, yeah, I think so. And he goes, no, it doesn't. You curse. And I was like, okay.
B
Did you explain him what cursing means in the back?
A
No.
B
You have a whole episode on it.
A
Yeah, but he doesn't deserve it. So some people, I'm at the point
B
in my life I don't know enough about the story, but that's a biblical. Biblical concept is don't throw your pearls before swine. Right? Or like you're saying, don't argue with Vince about the Bible. Like, if people aren't ready for it, like, don't do it. Leave it alone.
A
It's somebody that I've had conversations with for years and years and the person's not a bad person, but just.
B
Well, he also is mad at you for not for like trashing the 501C3. So I'm sorry about it.
A
I didn't even trash.
B
I kind of drugged you into that.
A
No, no, it was.
B
I know you love bizarre.
A
It was the most bizarre interaction because I didn't even drag it. He goes, he goes, you hate the church. And he saw me get kicked out of the church. He also saw me not want to go back there because all of the. He, like, like, that's the crazy part. Like, you've seen the. You were part of use part of the congregation that had to expel the pastor that kicked me out because that guy was cheating on. It was craziness. So it's like, you saw all that, right? And still afterward, I'm like, I'm having the conversation with him. I'm like, I'm. I'm about to go to church to practice, to play guitar there. And he's like, you hate the church? And I was like, no. Then he's asking about you. And I was like, he doesn't hate the church either, but there are valid criticisms. I know.
B
I hate the system. The man made system.
A
Sure. Exactly. It's. It's just like not understanding. He wasn't willing to understand. So at a certain point I just
B
go, well, you Know what I think I saw? One of the questions was asking about the third Temple and how we understood that did a third temple physically have to be built? But it was something in regards to, like, I glanced at it, I didn't really do a deep dive on the question, but I saw it where it was like, but if we are the temple now. And it's funny, it reminds me of that question because There is this 501C3 system that has set itself up in the temple, in the. In the body of Christ as God. There is this thing where people are like, if you're not a part of this system, like, you're out.
A
This is what I was.
B
You could have any other sin you want because you have grace, but if you're not in this 501C3 system, like, you're out, dude.
A
And this is what I was arguing.
B
And, and so it borders on setting itself up as God, is what I'm trying to say.
A
Yes. And it very much did, because the attribution that he's. He's putting on me is like, you're against. You're saying that your thing is for God. But I see you say naughty words and then I see you criticize the church, so you're against God. And I was like, God's not the church. And he's like, oh, well, the people are the church. And I'm like, the body of Christ,
B
you got to do quotes. That's why I call it the 501C3 system, right? Because. Because the church is the church. The church is the body of Christ.
A
When I put that up, he rejected the term, we're not going to use that. And I was like, well, that's what it is. This is what we're talking about.
B
Call it whatever you want. Denominational. It's just. I used to call it the denominational church. And then people were like, well, my church is non denomination. I'm like, that's a denomination. It was also, what's the thing they all have in common? It's this 501C3 system. That's what they have in common.
A
It's. Yeah, it's a tie to the government. But the, the most bizarre part was like, is like, okay, like we're arguing about church in general. I think the one that I go to is like, you know, obviously none of them are perfect. But I was like, this one's fine. This one's good enough. The one that I came from was horrible. And then he goes, oh, well, 99 of believers go to the Church. And I was like, no, they don't. And also, what are we talking about here? I think just Pentecostal or what we call it.
B
What do they like?
A
No, not. Just Not Catholic would be Protestant. Yeah, Protestant. Just a Protestant denomination makes up like, less than 30%. I think Catholics hold over 50% of Christians, and then Orthodox hold something like close to 20%. So now we're talking about. Forget about just the churches that you go to. We're saying that the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church are good. These are the same guys that are gatekeeping salvation. I'm just like, this is wild to even have this conversation. And I can't even go this deep with somebody. And honestly, you don't deserve it. So I just said, okay. And because he was upset about how I was talking, I said, I don't know what the you're talking about.
B
And I left. And he threw in the cus.
A
Crash. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. He's like, oh, But I don't know.
B
Sometimes you have to put this in the context of Jesus with the Pharisees. I mean, that's. The Pharisees are saying, if you're not part of our system, you're out. Right? Like, this has always been the thing, dude. This is. This has always been the thing.
A
It's just a bizarre. It's the most bizarre part is that is like, I am actually late to being part of your system, so I have to wrap this conversation up. Like, I gotta go and. Yeah, play over here. So I don't even know what you're talking about, but, like, you're crashing out over words. Here's another word for you to crash out harder for. You know what I mean?
B
That's your style, bro.
A
That's your style. Get over it. Next question. Here we go. We got some good questions here. Let's see what we're doing. Boom.
B
Okay, so the raven's not here to answer, but do you still experience any supernatural happening since claiming Christ, or would you say they've mostly abated? I think he still has experiences.
A
His last experience, I will say, I mean, he was going to church. I don't know. I guess he kicked this, but he was seeing, like, this. He saw this skinny thing in his peripheral that would, like, look at him.
B
From church.
A
No, no, in his house. I think he has, like, mirrors that are in front and on the side as well. And he was seeing it from his peripheral a couple of times. And then he, like, really prayed about it. Haven't heard about it much after, but that's the Last that I've heard. As far as his waking life, he's got crazy dreams. He's a black guy named Carter. He's a sword fighting demons, you know, but in his waking life. That was the last thing I heard and I think he was able to handle it. I don't know. I gotta ask him about it.
B
Yeah, I think he still is active in the supernatural.
A
He'd be seeing stuff.
B
I mean, he just kind of has that vibe, dude. Like it's not going away, but. But I think certain stuff doesn't have access to him anymore, you know, but not. But not that the whole realm is off limits now, but that certain things just don't have access to him. I mean, his dream life is still wild, but he dreams a lot because he sleeps a lot.
A
It's a correlation.
B
No, I remember when I was a flooring installer, you have on and off days of work. So you have some days where you can sleep in and you. If you have days where you're like taking naps and sleeping in, your dream, life goes through the roof, dude. If you're, if you're not doing that and you're. And you're trying to lock in for seven to nine hours, if you know. At best like nine is like incredibly difficult now, but seven to eight, hopefully. And then boom, you get up and you. As soon as you come to consciousness, it's go time. It's a little harder to maintain your dreams that like, you're. We're probably still having them but just not like remembering them so much. Whereas like, if you're taking naps and you're able to sleep in, especially if you get in that. In between time where you're kind of awake and kind of asleep. Yeah, that time you get some really powerful things in dreams.
A
So I don't have that the last eight years because. Yeah, I wake up.
B
Yeah, that's the thing, dude. As soon as it's go, go, go, it's tough to like. I used to keep the dream journal. I should pull out some of the old dream journals, dude. There's wild stuff happening but. But it's a lot easier to remember. And you're able to take naps and sleep in and stuff.
A
Not me. I'm kind of thankful for it though.
B
What do you mean?
A
I don't know. I feel like doing this show, especially the last, the first year and a half of doing this show, just kind of like wild, aimless and doing crazy. Like we were going through some of our old guests and man, like crazy people guess 14. This dude was probably a Satanist and we were just talking to him. I had no idea. First guest is a dude that's undermining the Bible. So it's like, what are we inviting in as? Like we're talking?
B
Yeah.
A
But yeah, because probably because of my lack of sleep for him from having children, I wasn't either having the dreams or remembering them, which I don't know which is better.
B
I don't know. I don't want to. Like, I do think dreams is absolutely a way God will communicate with you today. I absolutely believe that. That doesn't mean every single dream. I'm not saying that. Sometimes you eat too much pizza like that, like that's fine.
A
Yeah.
B
And you just dream stuff about. Sometimes you have a thing that you're stressing about through the day and you dream about it at night. That's obviously not necessarily some dream from God. Right. Just has to do with your soul and like what you went through that day. So not every dream is a spiritual dream. Not every dream is from God. I'm not saying that. But that's definitely a way that I think the Holy Spirit will communicate with us today. Because it's in parables. It's in. It's something you have to unpack. Like Jess will dream a thing and the thing happens and there's not really any like trying to decode the dream. Right. I don't have anything like that. Like, like anything I dream is like very much a lot to unpack. It's a lot of, okay, what is this pointing to? What is this trying to tell me? But if Jesus spoke in parables, it makes sense that the Holy Spirit speaks in parables too. And if somebody disagrees with that and says, no, no, no, dreams are bad and they don't come from God, no problem. It's just my take on it.
A
Two things before we move on. If Nancy is in the chat, Nancy, you can hop into the stream yard and pull up comments if you want. You're welcome.
B
She's not around, dude.
A
I saw her in the chat. And also, I don't know if I told you, but we had Brian of Demon Erasers at the house. You remember, like this is like before we had the studio here. So he was at my house doing the show.
B
He came and got a chai, we hung out at the counter, argued about
A
the J's, stuff like that.
B
No, we didn't argue about it. I just got his view on it, which was cool.
A
They argued about it. So I had said the same thing. Like, I don't really have dreams. And he goes, no, no, you're gonna have dreams. Like, we're gonna pray for you. And I was like, no, no, you're not praying for me. You put hands on me and have. She's like, no, I am. I'm good. And especially. No, no, we're not doing. We're just not doing dreams. If God wants me to have dreams, he could. He could.
B
Fair enough.
A
Have me have dreams.
B
Fair enough.
A
All right, last question here for Matt, I think, right, Matt, like, the 17 T's. Do you think the company you've been keeping lately has made you more of a racist, less of a racist, or no change?
B
I mean, can I answer? Go ahead. Yeah.
A
Yes. No, I don't think he's more of a racist.
B
I've always been a racial profiler. I always have, bro. If somebody comes in as Puerto Rican, I started asking him about gondolas and pastelis and yuka and stuff. Or if somebody comes in, they're from the Philippines, I ask them if they play Dos pasoi.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
Like. Like, if they come from Brazil, I ask them about picanha and japoticabas and
A
the crazy thing trees. They love it.
B
They. People love it. Yeah. If you under. If you know somebody's culture and talk to them about their culture. Yeah, that's. They like that. I. I've never come across where people like, you're racist. You're racially profiling me because you know about my culture, and you're talking to me about my culture. Yeah, cultures are different. I love cultures, dude. Like, I loved it. I was telling you guys before, you hate if certain people show up at the hotel and then they're at the pool, and then they put on the music, and then they're dancing. My family loves when Spanish people, which can be anywhere from South America, like, or Central America, any of the Spanish nations, like, show up, put music on, start dancing by the pool. My family loves it, dude. When the kids were little, they'd start dancing too. It's like, I. I don't know. We like cultures, and maybe if it's whatever culture you live in, you think is kind of a little bland, but, like, to go to Italy is rad. Like. Like, the Italians used to ride with me a lot when we would go see interior designers and stuff for the tile job, and we'd stop between every meeting for espresso, and I'd be like, guys, we're running late. And they could care less if we were late. And then we'd Sit down for lunch, and they'd want to eat for three hours. I said, guys, we can't eat for three hours. And I never understood what's going on. Then we went to Italy and I was like, it's a culture. Oh, this culture, like, doesn't. It's not. I think America is the only one that's go, go, go kill yourself. I don't know. The Asians are kind of like that too, because Bella' in high school, we're structured a lot of Asian friends and the parents were just on them. They had to get straight A's, they had to go to the best college. They had to. Like, so maybe that. That culture is kind of like that too. But, like, yeah, the. The Italian culture, where it's just like, hey, enjoy your life, enjoy your family, enjoy your food. Like, what do you. Rush, rush, rush. Like, what's the problem?
A
Yeah, my favorite place. Well, I'm gonna move there when I retire. Aruba, they just go. They'll. They'll have like a store, and they don't even really announce it, just middle of the day.
B
I used to think that too, but I don't think it's just called lazy now. I think there's something to it because I.
A
The siesta, they're like, we're out of here.
B
Because. Well, I remember coming home, opening my laptop, and I had like 1300 unread emails and just started knocking out emails, like three in the morning, because it was like a time change and everything. And then got on like the eighth email, and then just like, I just, like, it was actually, like, it was a big. Had a big impact on my life. I just kind of like, buried my head in my hands and I was like, what am I doing with my life, dude? Like. Like, this is never going away. This is never going away. I've missed, like, I've been at my kids sports games, but I wasn't at the sports game. I was on the phone the entire time.
A
Yep.
B
Like, I'm like, I'm missing everything. Like, I'm losing everything. But there's people on the earth that don't live like this, man. Like, there's another way you can do this and you're gonna sacrifice something. I think America would go, oh, that's lazy now. You're not gonna be a millionaire. But it's like, the Italian people don't care. They're like, yeah, I'd rather just enjoy my life. And that's. Ultimately, I came to that conclusion too. I was like, yeah, I just want to enjoy my life, dude. Rather live on a farm in a cheap house on a cheap piece of land of the cheap car, like, cheap stuff. And I'd rather just be like a kid that has no desire to, like, look like a big shot. And I'd rather just go swimming and ride bikes for fun than have to do some big extra fancy money stuff. Like, I. Yeah, I think I'd rather live like that.
A
Well, that's, that's, that would be nice.
B
But I cut you off right in the middle of what you were saying. I'm sorry. I'm really bad at that.
A
I think we were talking about, like, orderly societies. Like, so. Yeah, that's like, I don't know you. You're from like, a more bland family. My, My family's not my family.
B
Spanish.
A
Yeah, they're doing Christmas. Like we used to do Christmas in the projects. And my grandma would have the door open Christmas Eve to Christmas Day. People would be there, like, till 5 in the morning.
B
I love that.
A
Everybody coming in, everybody was welcome. Gets tired.
B
I though.
A
Yeah, I know, but it's just like. And nobody would do anything bad because they respected my grandma. But like, after a while, I look at the Japanese people that are in the World cup game and they're cleaning up their stands after, and I go, yeah, I envy that society.
B
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You love cultures too. Like, there's diff. There's different cultures, man, that acted like that.
A
Which is better.
B
No, no, that's what the Sermon on the Mount is about is the culture of our kingdom. All those nations, they're what we would call kingdoms, right? And Jesus is breaking down, hey, here's the culture in our kingdom. And it's like that. We clean up our stuff at World cup too. We clean up our table when we're out at restaurants.
A
Well, a black and Puerto Rican Christmas Eve party is like, you're cleaning up everything.
B
Yeah, that's wild. If you have open door and you live in a city and people can always come and go, that's actually really cool. But I don't, I don't, I don't. I like to just like, be in my own kind of private.
A
That's my own thing. I don't know. All right, let's. Let's see the next question here.
B
Pull that up.
A
I can't read that. So let's see.
B
My question is. I'm old Greg, what are your thoughts on voting? Does it matter? As Christians, should we vote for candidates, Policies that align with the Bible? I've been against voting for lesser of two evils, but don't want to consent. But after rereading Romans 13:1 and 2 several times, I wonder if by not voting, am I rebelling against the authority and thus rebelling against God, as referenced in Romans 13:2, or does it not matter because our kingdom isn't this one and God chooses king's rulers, like in Daniel 2. 21. I don't. I don't think there's a wrong answer to that. I vote. I vote. Do I think it really matters? I don't know, dude. A couple years ago, there was a guy that, he was like, filling stadiums. He'd go around the country and he's a politician. He's running Trump. Yeah, he was running for office and filling stadiums, which is like, as far as I know, that's unheard of, dude. Like, nobody care. I guess the dude Barack did that maybe because whenever he ran and said, change, we're gonna have. We're gonna have change. And everybody's like, yeah, it's gonna. Everything's gonna change, you know, and then. So they were really excited too. But the level that the dude Trump was doing on was crazy, bro. The amount of people.
A
I regret that I missed that, like 20, 2015, 2016 run, because that was like, crazy energy.
B
Yeah.
A
And now it's not really the same. I don't. I don't know.
B
Well, not 2016, but 2020. He ran against a guy that, like, couldn't finish sentences and stuff. Dude. Like, like he couldn't finish sentences and he didn't go out and have any people come to his shows and stuff, like nobody was coming. And then they did the. What they call an election. And what they're. That they tell us is that, like, you go vote, everybody votes in all the different states and then all the, all the counties, and then they're like, oh, look at the state of California. And the whole thing's red except for, like, all around San Francisco and all around Sacramento and all around la. And they're like, those counties went blue even though the whole state's red. But there's so many people there. They got more votes for the blue team there. And they're like, florida, same thing, man. It's all red. The whole state's red. But then in Miami, it's all blue. And they tell us, like, all this stuff, and they're like, yeah, so we, what we do, at the end of the day, you guys all vote, and then we count the votes, and whoever gets the most votes wins. But there's like electoral college. And so it's got to be this many with the states and stuff. And it's like, I don't know. This idea that we're picking is kind of crazy. Even when I was a little kid, it was like, Bush running against somebody. And I'll. And I remember as a little kid being like, so wait, so the President is, like, the number one job on planet Earth, and these are the only two people we get to pick from? I was like, isn't there, like. Like, way cooler people than this? Isn't there, like, brilliant, incredible humans with incredible ideas to, like, run the country? When I was a little kid, I thought that. I was like, how. How does it. How come we only have these two guys to pick from? And how come every time the red team runs versus the blue team, it's like 50, 50 split across the country? It's never, like a 7030 blowout? It's always 50, 50 split. It's always neck and neck. I'm like, I. I don't know. So, like, if you don't vote, I don't think that's wrong either, dude. I just. At some point, I mean, local stuff is probably somewhat real. I'll bet local stuff is real.
A
Yeah. I think that there's a lot of. Matt for President 2020. I think that there's a lot of shenanigans when it comes to voting, especially, like, the last. You're talking about the 2020 election. I'm like, yeah, if anybody lived through that. And I don't want to, like, get crazy and political, but, like, we saw what was happening there. Like, we saw. They were, like, even moving ballots around. Like.
B
Well, the one dude did a documentary on. And I saw it. The Indian dude? Yeah. Dinesh d'. Souza. It was like, all right, well, there's the guys. Like, they tracked the devices that went from the. The. Like a polling headquarters to a Dropbox. And they. And he only. In that movie, he only showed the people who did that more than 10 times. He said there was thousands and thousands of them that did it more than five times. Yeah, he only showed the ones that were 10 times. And then he showed the video cameras that were there while they were shoving huge amounts in boxes. So I was like, okay, well, that's. I mean, what. What, like, whatever you think, like, he's. There's the. There's the camera. It's showing it. It's happening. Those things are doing that. Do we care? Do we don't care? I don't know. But you can't say that they weren't doing that.
A
That showed. That showed to me that. So voting. I don't think voting counts as much as we think, but I do think that it counts in a way to influence.
B
Like they gauge the people by it.
A
Yeah, they, they gauge the people and there has to be like a certain amount of votes towards something for them to cheat. And I was like, so I was like, yeah, I'm gonna vote. I'm like, I'm just gonna make it harder for you to cheat because I know you're.
B
Well, that's what the dude Trump said, right? He said it was too big to cheat.
A
I think it was. They cheated. Yeah, they.
B
This last one he said, because they said, oh yeah, they cheated the time before. How did you win this time? He said it was too big to cheat. I remember him saying that. But who knows, dude? Like, who knows?
A
You know, the sad part is Israel. Israel wins anyway. We get the same thing. It's really sad. Somebody said no matter who you vote for, you always get Lindsey Graham. And he's kind of right.
B
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like the dude Barack ran against a guy called. There was this creature called John McCain. And then there was another time he ran against a guy called Mitt Romney.
A
Yep.
B
What would anything have been different, if any, if the one. The other guy would have won? I mean, they made you think like it would be totally different socially.
A
It would have just been so like the temperature socially would have been slightly different. But besides that. No.
B
I don't know. I like to focus on my local community, man. I think if all the Christian people in America focused on their little sphere that they are in, if they grew their own little farm and they grew their own little network of people and they focused on their kids school, they focused on their home and their neighborhood and the school their kids go to, I would much rather spend my time on that than like. Because how many people lose their mind paying attention to so called politics? And it's stuff you have no control over, dude. And now you're not doing the stuff in your life you could have control over. You're not going to the gym, you're not eating right, you're not making sure you're sleeping right. You're not doing sauna sessions. You're not going out and taking your shirt off and getting vitamin D and sunlight and you're not going to the beach and getting salt water and salt air. You're not, you're not doing like all these things that make your life better and do have something you do have control over. You're so focused on this giant thing on the world and in the Nation and in D.C. that you have no control over. It's like, stop doing that.
A
It's funny. To all the people that I do know. And we'll move on to the next question. All the people that I do know that talk about politics, I don't know, obsessively or for their job or get really passionate about it. I don't know. Clint Russell lives in Miami. Dave Smith lives in New Jersey. His co host lives in New York. You name it. They're like big, big influencers. You're living in these blue cities and you're losing your hair. Like, well, yeah, leave.
B
They can't.
A
It's like they're stuck there. You know, they have to have this thing to, to really continue their complaints.
B
Well, it's very enticing and intriguing because there are these topics about like IMM or so called health care. But, but all of these things, I'm like, none of these topics seem that difficult. Like it, it feels like they don't want them fixed.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, are you kidding me? That people pay, I don't know, like over 10k a year in so called medical insurance. But then you still got to pay every time you go to the doctor. Like the, like the stuff's not. You have to pay till you meet a certain thing. Yeah, like, like, wait, what? How come it's not just a gym membership? Like what, like what are you talking about? How come the doctor can't say, hey, you want my services? You and your family pay me 300amonth and I, and I cover everything you got. You got to buy your medicines and stuff. But like it's like there's a, there's this thing called insurance. Could you imagine if there was a thing called coffee insurance? And like you had, and I knew you had to get coffee insurance and I based all my prices in the coffee shop on that, knowing that you have to have that insurance. And then I prescribe to you. Hey man, I know. I've seen you buying like one mocha blender and a cheese danish a day, but you need to start getting two a day now.
A
What?
B
Wait, what? Like that's what that system is. Dude, could you, could you imagine. And you're probably a good person. I'm saying you're not a good person. Especially if you're a doctor and you've been in school 15 years or something. You sacrificed your whole life. You probably Sacrificed your marriage, your family. You probably sacrificed everything in this nation to become a doctor. And then you're not gonna extra prescribe stuff that you make money on. You're not going to extra prescribe surgeries. You're not gonna. I mean, I think I'm a reasonable man, but I would probably take advantage either consciously or subconsciously. So called.
A
It's like stadium pricing.
B
If I say, hey, man, you'd do a lot better if you had three copies a day as opposed to one. Like, I understand. Like, wait, guys, guys, who made that system? Like, what are we talking about? Just cut that system off. Like today. Like, like cut it off today. Make no such thing as insurance. And anybody who wants medical care, go to the doctor and work out a deal for medical care. Like what? Like, so insurance takes in, like, whatever it is, billions and billions of dollars a year. That's. That's going to medical, but it's not going to medical. It's going to insurance.
A
We're gonna get Dr. Yared Vasquez on you.
B
Madness.
A
Yeah.
B
Brazilian guy from Tampa.
A
No, Puerto Rican guy from Tampa. And he. But he's a doctor, a legit doctor that doesn't do insurance. So he does exactly what you're doing.
B
Why are you people watching on this channel and not Straight Bible channel? We need to boast Match Channel. You guys have already won Mount Crushmore. Dude.
A
I know. I wanted more people watching. All right, guys, if you're on the NDS channel, go over to Straight Bible. We're going to cut the feed there. So go ahead and.
B
Sorry to go ramble on that thing, but that's just another thing. I was like, why are we all still, like, arguing about so called health care and so called immigration and like, all these things? And it's just like, this stuff does not seem that complicated.
A
It doesn't. And since moving to, like this area of Florida where things are a lot more rural and you're a little bit more reliant on yourself to do stuff rather than New York, it really, it takes that constant stress of like, oh my gosh, should I vote? Oh, my gosh, who's gonna run this whole country? Who cares?
B
Yeah, who cares?
A
I go outside, I. I pee on my lawn in any direction. I shoot the gun in the air and then I come and I do a podcast. Who cares, dude, Get. Get away from that stuff. Next question. Can't read that too. So Tiny Spliffy says, scripturally speaking, is there anywhere in the Bible where we're called to understand God and how he works or are we just called to have faith and love one another without needing a full understanding of the Godhead? I thought the purpose of faith was to have belief with belief without seeing and worship is to acknowledge greatness, power, holiness, and how we are lesser than.
B
Kind of answered his question, right?
A
Yeah, I guess. So what do you think, though?
B
Yeah, I don't. I don't know that we're. Well, I know we're not going to fully comprehend God, so that's. That's definitely a thing.
A
Like, should we try. It's a question.
B
Yeah, I'm gonna spend my life trying to comprehend. Yeah, I'm gonna spend every. That's the main thrust of my life is trying to know God. But. But what we are commanded is to hear his voice. We did. Didn't we do that on either the last episode or two episodes back? Yeah. Was commanded to hear his voice and respond. So we are commanded to that. Now, does that mean he's going to tell us all of the mysteries of the universe? I don't think so. I don't think so. But he's gonna say, hey, bro. Hey, little guy. Here's your job. Here's your part in the story. Don't worry. Remember when Peter was like, what about John? He said, don't worry about John. This. This is your thing. Peter, I'm talking to you right now. Same to us, dude. You have to do that to the kids.
A
You know, if he's asking a question that we are constantly asking, whether it's on NDS or with ed, what is it? Let's. I'm gonna read his next. Personally, I have a hard time serving a God that I could fit comfortably in my own mind and understanding and it would take away from the genuine worship if he was something I could fully comprehend.
B
Yeah, I think. Great statement. Yeah.
A
The question always is, is like, how. How deep into something should you be looking? But I think. I think with God it's a little different.
B
I'm going to spend my life seeking him rather than.
A
But like, you understand, like when you're looking into the cult and conspiracy, you have to look at that and you have to have an understanding of it in order to kind of like avoid it and see the trappings when it presents itself to in a deceptive manner. But when you start to look real close, like, we have a good friend that this guy, Jules of Gray Pill podcast, Shout Out Jules. He's a dude that would come on the show every so often and he couldn't really make the schedule fit to come on the show and hang out with us all the time because he was like a nighttime guy and we're doing it during the day and all this stuff. And he started. Because he's a nighttime guy, started to fit in with a podcast called the Occult Rejects.
B
Kind of went that direction.
A
Yeah. And I like those guys. I like. I think his name is Nick from Occult Rejects. But, like, I'll be honest, Nick, if you're watching this, when I. When I watch him, I'm like, yeah, like, you've got dark bags under your eyes. He looks like he's like, like, we
B
don't know where he's at in the story, man. He could be at the beginning of his story. You know, God could be getting ready to, boom, change him. We don't know.
A
Maybe. But these. These guys are, like, constantly looking into a cult. They're Rosicrucianists. They're into freemasonry. They're into. Some of them are like, it. It depends on. There's like a bunch of them, but it depends on which one they are. The level at which they're practicing in the occult could be low, could be super high. And I'm just like, well, now Jules is hanging out with them, and now they continue to look deeper and deeper into this. And I checked on Jules recently. I'm like, oh, like, you've gone full blown occultist. Like, I see the symbology you're putting around you. It's not. It's not, like, jokingly. And I see the things that you're saying. I'm like, damn. Well, I. You know, that's where you're at in the story. But he's looked into that pit and he's continued down it. You know what I mean?
B
Yeah. And I don't. I think we've said this before, dude. Like, the dudes at the bank and they count the money. They count. They deal with money so much that, like, right away, they. They spot a counterfeit, put it to the side. Yeah. So it's the same thing. Like, I don't really spend a lot of time going down the trail of the occult. I mean, I've read some interesting books on stuff that. That points to the occult and, you know, tells you some of the. Some of the stuff. But I haven't spent a ton of time on it. I just spend as much time as possible on the real thing.
A
Right.
B
That way when, you know, people come in my coffee shop and they start saying weird stuff, I'm saying, like, yeah, I don't know that voice. I Don't know what you're saying. Like, you're saying something like. Like, I deal with the real thing all the time. So the fake thing just doesn't resonate. It doesn't. It doesn't connect. You know what I mean? So I guess you could go, like, research all that to know how bad that is. But I'd rather go hard after God. Know what the real thing is. And then anything else is just kind of suspect. It's just kind of like, huh. Well, we'll sit on that.
A
Yeah. Yeah. But I think the same principle applies to what. Who is that? Spliffy's asking where. It's like, well, if you look deeper into this thing, you're going to be in it. So maybe if you look deeper into God.
B
Yeah, you're going to go to God.
A
You're going to be deep, man.
B
You wait around the river, The. The riverbed long enough, you're gonna fall in, man.
A
Yeah. So I guess the question. The answer would be then, like, yeah, where maybe we are called to Illi coffee beans.
B
No, I'm pretty sure those are gross, bro. Those come in the metal. The. The silver metal with, like, the red label. Illy. That's, like, burned. It's probably.
A
It's probably the next question.
B
It's probably not even arabica. Yeah. It says, are illy coffee beans any good or are they just expensive? They. I hope they're not expensive because I'm pretty sure that's not even full arabica. I'm pretty sure that's robusto, which is, like, super high. Caffeine will make you a little shaky and definitely make you take a dump, too. How about that?
A
Like, the coffee that's made out of cat poop. What is that about?
B
Oh, the Louis. I think it's called, like, Luac coffee. It, like, goes through the stomach and then they poop it out. I'm not a fan. Because they cage those things now. They catch them and cage them to get the coffee. But I guess you get the poop some kind of. In the wild, but then you can't mass scale it. Like, this is the problem with humanity when we mass scale stuff, right? Like, it's really rad that. Oh, I don't know. Who was the first guy that tried to. That tried the cat poop coffee. But, like, somebody tried. It was like, yo, this stuff bangs. But at the end of the day, I think it's just a fermentation process. And now, dude, there. That's probably why the fermentation process coffees took off in the last 10 years, dude, where they fermented. Remember, coffee's a fruit. So they pick the. They pick the fruit, get all the skin off, get all the pulp off, and then you're left with the seed. It's not a bean. It's a seed of a fruit of a tropical fruit. All grows near the equator. You gotta have like high elevations and you gotta have high temperatures to get arabica coffee. Robusta can grow in like lowlands and hot places, but that's pretty gross. It's typically very gross coffee. Like, you'll never find specialty grade robusta coffee, but that's what illy is. I'm pretty sure a percent of illy is robusta.
A
So.
B
No, it's bad. You just need to buy specialty coffee, dude. And specialty coffee is anything that scores above 80. And so there's tons of places to get 80 on.
A
What, like acidity or what is that just.
B
No, no, it's a. It's a grading system. So there's Q graders within. Within the coffee system and they. And they grade coffees and anything that scores above 80 is considered specialty grade. Anything below is considered commodity grade.
A
It's considered Dunkin donuts.
B
And so that. Yeah. So when people drink our coffee, like, this is the best around. And I don't mean. I think maybe it comes off arrogant. And I don't mean it to be. I'm like, yeah, I know. But I'm like, according to that scoring system, I know there's no shop around here using the as high a grade of coffee as we use. So, like, I don't. I don't mean it to be rude because I didn't grow the coffee. Like, I'm just the guy in the shop, like just putting the drink together. So it's not like I'm taking credit for it. I'm just saying, like, yeah, I know we only buy specialty grade, like really good coffees from really good roasters.
A
I used to only drink dunkin'dunk before I came here.
B
Milk and honey. Sorry. So buy it from milk and honey. That's our. There are folks. Does there still a link on the website?
A
Yeah, it's on the website. It's in the description too. But yeah, before I. Before I came here, I was actually not drinking coffee for years since I moved to Florida to about it because
B
it's so bad after a while, dude, if it's chain shop coffee, I think
A
it was like giving me heartburn or something. So.
B
Dude.
A
And then I was like, yeah, let me see if I could just drink Some coffee now. So I went back to Dunkin Donut. That's the reason why I came here, right across there. And I was drinking, I was like, yeah, good drinking every morning. And then I saw here I came, I started getting coffee. And now when I went back to Dunkin Donuts, it tastes like burn like terrible.
B
Once you drink good coffee, it's very hard to go back to bed.
A
It's ruined. It's ruined my palate. But now the problem is when you close on Sunday. So next question. Are long term missionaries in foreign countries benefiting the kingdom or would they be more effective staying in their homelands?
B
That's an interesting question. What's the reference? Acts 1:8. That must be where he says going to like Judah, Jerusalem, all of Israel, the surrounding nations, and then the uttermost part of the earth. I'm guessing that's what the Acts 1:8 is, right?
A
Let's see. Yeah, but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and Judea, Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
B
So that's. So if you. So I like that they reference that passage. So, so don't even go unless you've received power. Don't even go, dude. Like if you're like, if you're just a missionary because it's going to look cool on your resume or you think it's like a cool thing to talk to people about, don't bother going. Don't go unless you've been given power. But I, I don't know. It's too blanket of a statement to say yes or no. There's absolutely missionaries crushing the game in other, in other places. At the end of the day you go, if God tells you to go.
A
Let's save this question because on Tuesday we have pass. Well, we could read the next scripture. But Pastor Rick coming in, this is a great question for him because he's like a, he's a dude that's first and foremost Holy Spirit and then his church is missionary driven.
B
Yeah.
A
So these are like that, that specific quote there.
B
Okay. But I gotta say this.
A
Yeah.
B
Because anytime that comes up, like I said, it's too blanket of a statement. We've got books if you want to know about like legit missionaries. Read about Hudson Taylor. If, if you read, if you read the stories of Hudson Taylor, it'll, it'll change your life, dude. It'll change. You'll wonder if you're even saved, dude. Like this guy went to China 1800s, 1900, early 1900s. Like, dude sacrificed his entire life to go to China to preach the gospel because they didn't have the gospel there, like, in any way, shape or form. Today, when everybody has access to the Internet, like. Like, I don't know. But my. But my first thought, like, the first time when I started to go to the 501C3 system and they were talking about missionaries, and like, the first time they had a missionary come in and ask for money, I remember the first thought I had was they were like, yeah, we go to such and such country. I don't remember what it was. And I remember thinking like, huh, I wonder if everybody on their street is safe.
A
Yeah, I think that's what I think, too. And it's like.
B
And I think it's way easier to go to another place. But that. But that doesn't change the fact that God calls people to other places. And so if God calls you to those places, amen, go. But for me personally, I think it's way harder to do it among your own people in your own town, among the people who know you, the ones
A
that have seen your mug shot.
B
Yeah, yeah, well. And there's just this familiarity that people are just like, meh. Some people locally think I'm cool now because I'm on a podcast, but they didn't think I was cool before I had a podcast. You know what I'm saying? It's like, yo, I'm doing the same thing I've always been doing. I've been behind the counter preaching the gospel this whole time. But I guess because you came in and had familiarity and just. I didn't have a title. I didn't. I wasn't any thing within the 501C3 system. It's like, yeah, it's just. Matt, it doesn't mean anything. But if God calls me to be a missionary to this territory, it is what it is. That's where I'm at.
A
That was one of your criticisms about the church. But we were having the conversation just like this, and you were like, how come it takes all this money and all these lights and all this? And. And I'm kind of like, I'm looking at the cameras and the lights and the.
B
This is at no scale compared to that.
A
I. No, but. But I mean, this is just a, you know, two, three man operation. That's like a couple hundred person operation. What I'm saying is there's a couple
B
hundred people watching this right now. There's a couple. Is there a couple hundred People at your show on Sunday. Yeah, but there is. Yeah, you go to a big church, dog.
A
It's not big, but a couple hundred
B
people at one show is a lot of people.
A
It is a lot of people. But I'm saying, like, what I mean is that this thing, if we're talking about God, if, if the show is about God, which some people don't like that they don't think that it is, but if it is about God, then shouldn't you do the best that, that you can to give it the best shot to be heard? So if this lends legitimacy in somebody else's eyes, then what did this cost me? You know what I mean? Dollars. Like paper.
B
Yeah. I don't know. I don't spend my time and energy and focus on prayer and intimacy with God and like the real stuff and let God like deal with that.
A
And you did. And here, God put me here with this stuff here. So now you can do this here.
B
I thank God for that too. Right.
A
But I'm saying, see, these things do go hand in hand because if we were recording this on a cell phone, people might listen. But a lot of people listening, to be honest, they probably don't.
B
Yeah, but you got to just roll with God is all I'm saying. I spent five years behind the counter pre onesie twosies and, and onesie twosies, sat at the end of the bar and wanted to have Bible study for hours at a time. Yeah. And it was onesie Tuesdays and Amen. That was the will of God. And some people I met with for one on one Bible studies for long periods of time. Not giant Bible studies, not with 20 people or 50 people where, you know, then it gets weird. One on one, making sure somebody really gets the Bible right. And so if God calls you to that, you do that. If somehow he ends up calling you to a bigger group of people, then you roll with the bigger group of people. He calls you to another nation, you go to the other nation. But if he. But that's always my initial thought is like, huh, have I handled my business in my home? Have I handled my business on my street? Have I handled my business in my little town? Have I handled my business with like the other parents and my kids sports teams when I'm. When they're little, like, have I like. Because if I just kind of jump, like leapfrog all that to go to another nation, no problem. Maybe God called me to that. But maybe I need to check what was my motivation to do that.
A
Agree.
B
What is that?
A
Coffee why
B
you want to be on the show so bad? Say hi to everybody.
A
Say hi.
B
Mason, be careful with that. Wreck it, Ralph.
A
Which one? Camera four.
B
Right there. Tell everybody how. Easy, easy bit work. Right here. Just do this. And then tell everybody how your vacation was.
A
It was actually not that great. I. I passed out on the beach. I passed out on the beach.
B
Why did you pass out? I don't know. Did you get wasted?
A
No, I think I. He broke, and then. That's not funny. And then the next day I threw up. And then the next day. No, I was trying to. And then.
B
Yeah, both.
A
Though I did eat anything, and I drank that out in the beating, and so I wonder what happened. Geez, Mason, it's crazy.
B
Okay.
A
All right. All right, cool.
B
Everybody missed you, though. No, no, no, that's fine. Can I get a coconut water, though? Everybody really did miss you. I know.
A
All right, Mason, get out.
B
Yeah, let's go.
A
Thank you.
B
You want anything, Mashis?
A
No, I'm good. Thank you. Hey, next question. This is a long one. These people, like, they take advantage and they write so many letters. I know.
B
It's a lot of language. I'll read it. I'll read it. I don't want to do the whole stressing me out. I've had a few questions I'd love your thoughts on. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask several questions or just one.
A
This is the guy that asked several questions.
B
I'm kind of curious how marriage works in God's eyes, because I know. I've heard it said and very lightly touched on, but never given further thought. And that is the idea of sex kind of being the catalyst for marriage, or what makes a marriage a marriage and God. Yeah. Okay, I know this is a crude thing, but, like, sex is the marriage covenant, Like. Well, no. My wife's my best friend. Well, that's great. But you can have other friends. Well, my wife's my business partner. That's great. You can have other business partners. There's one human on the planet you can have sex with. Like. Like, that's the marriage covenant. The marriage covenant is, like. It's so intimate that two become one is how the Bible describes it. And it's a marriage covenant between a man, a woman, and God. We've talked about that before, too, but that really is the covenant.
A
I think that's why they said Ed kind of covered this. But fornication is a spiritual sexual sin. Thank you very much. Mason, stand right in front.
B
Wait, what'd you do with. What was in there. I'm punch. I'm punching you in the face.
A
I'm literally gonna punch by Mason.
B
Hit the road, Jack. No, thank you for that.
A
Fornication.
B
I know, but I drink these in the container because they sponsor the show, so I don't pour them out. Okay. No, I appreciate it.
A
Fornication is a spiritual sexual sin.
B
Yeah. Fornication is anything outside the marriage covenant. So, like. Or sexual perversion, it can be explained as. As well. But, like, I mean, in a certain sense, sexual perversion is anything outside the marriage covenant. Like, adultery is when you're married and you go outside the covenant. Fornication is when you have sex and you're not in a marriage covenant. Right.
A
But that adds a spiritual implication to sex. What do you mean, fornication? Like, the spiritual implication to sex is kind of like. I mean, I don't know. I don't know if people really believe this about, like, when you leave your. The DNA or the woman retains the DNA of the partners that she's had in her body for X amount of years. I don't know. I read some articles about that, but it's. There's something happening there. If two things can come together and they can create a new life, you're doing. You're doing something strange, like you're performing a sexual act that can partake in creation, and you're just doing this with anybody and everybody. It's. It's a little while and, you know.
B
Yeah. I also. I don't think that the only reason God gave us sex is to procreate. I don't think that's it. I don't think that. Because, like, we read that passage. Is it. Is it in the Corinthians letter? And he says, like, you guys, if you're. If you're gonna go apart from sex for a while, that's okay, but make sure both are in agreement. But the woman's body belongs to the man and the man's body belongs to the woman. So don't hold sex back from each other. But I can't imagine that that means, like, if the female's like, hey, I had a C section. I, I. And I'm. I don't want to have any more babies. And so that means that, like, now you can never have sex again.
A
But also for women, too, it's like when they do have sex with a partner.
B
And I think it's fun and it's a rad thing. And God's like, yo, you guys should enjoy that while you're down there.
A
But there is. There is like, a. An attraction that. I think men get it, too. But more likely women have, like, this attachment to the partner that they just. They just had sex with because it's a. This is a thing that you're doing with someone. It's not just like you're just rubbing each other and then you go your separate ways, which is kind of what we do now.
B
I don't want to see Lainey's edit on this dude.
A
But you understand what I'm saying, though, right? There's an attachment. There's a bond being made.
B
Yeah. Something's going inside of a woman that's different than a man. That's. It's an external thing. Like, it's. There's that. Yeah.
A
But even.
B
So even they take their DNA. The chick takes the dude's DNA for so long or something. Or.
A
Yeah, yeah. They retain the d. They retain the DNA of the per. The people that they were with. So it's like there's. There's transfer. There's all kinds of crazy stuff happening here, and we treat it like it's, you know, big deal. No big deal. And just over.
B
Yeah, have a good time.
A
It's. It's a little crazy. And I understand people that do. Like, you're with your boyfriend for a long time and you do this, like. I get it, the Bible. I think the Bible warns against doing this before marriage because. Yeah, there is. There's like, deterioration of that. That special process that you're.
B
Well, you're also disrespecting covenant. Like, if you study the Scriptures, God is about the covenant, and he's like, hey, there's this really rad thing in the earth called sex. But you only do it inside the covenant. And so when you disrespect, like, covenant like that, God's got beef with it. That's why, like, I'm pretty sure it says adultery and fornication are the sins that God the Father is going to judge that. Like Jesus, as he's a man is going to judge. Right. But there's those two things. It's. I. Somewhere, I think it says that, like, specifically, God the Father is going to judge those because it's like a. It's like a brushing aside of the covenant and act like, yeah, this is no big deal. I'll have sex even though I'm not in a covenant, or I'll be in a marriage covenant and go outside of it.
A
Yeah.
B
Which, like, people fall for that. If there's people that have done that or are doing that, like. Like, you just got to get out of it. You got. You got to get born again. You gotta, like, if you are born again, you've done it. You gotta repent. You gotta, like, you gotta change that whole mindset and, like, just come to God, man.
A
Owen Benjamin put it into perspective for me in. In a weird, roundabout way. He was joking around, I think his first time on Tower Game, he was talking about Puerto Ricans and Puerto Rico and Jamaicans and Jamaica and stuff. And he just said, yeah, all these guys are worried about is, like, getting mangoes and squirting. And I was like, oh. Because we were talking about the deterioration of, like, right now, Puerto Rico doesn't have water.
B
They're.
A
They're an island, and they. They can't figure out water. Jamaica can't figure out electricity without it going out every six hours.
B
I disagree. Still reserved. You knew it was going to be that one.
A
Disagree with.
B
Yeah. Relationships are always the best in the first few months. I don't think that at all, dude. I wouldn't. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to go back to, like, the beginning of me and jazz. It's a million times better now.
A
Yeah, that sucks. It's, like, confusing. You don't know that person.
B
Well, no, it was good. It's whatever. But I'm just saying, then you're doing something wrong, if it's. You know what I mean? It's never going to be the same. It's never going to have, like, the same newness. But you find new stuff, dude. You got to keep the sense of adventure going, dude. But isn't that, like, a job? Isn't, like, your job so fun when you first start. That's a mentality gets old.
A
This is the mentality that I'm talking about. That's like crackhead.
B
No, that guy. I don't want to, like, drag on. Still reserve, though.
A
I'm just saying, that's that. That exhilaration that you're feeling of a new partner. No, this is all strange and new and exciting.
B
It's fun finding each other and who they are. Cool.
A
Yeah, That's. That's the people that are getting the mangoes and squirting while their infrastructure fails because they're not building anything. You can't build if you're just worried about squirt all day and twerk.
B
Okay.
A
It's true. I know it sounds crazy, but this is what these cultures are worried about, Matt. They're worried about, can I shake my ass? Yeah, okay. But can you build solar Panels. You have no, you have no electricity on the island of Puerto Rico because everybody is squirting and twerking and getting the mango. Nobody's worried about building, building a covenant.
B
They don't have enough sun there to use solar panels.
A
It's wild. You see what I'm saying? You see what I'm saying? There should be no reason. It's a blatant example of that. Next question. Let's continue this question. I guess I don't like this.
B
Well, when your husband stops hygiene, I stopped too. That's what somebody just said. Like, no, don't do that. Like, get spunky. Like, you don't stop the hygiene. Like, you keep going, stay in shape, eat right, do all the stuff to where your husband's like, madly in love with you is like, dude, I can't keep my hands off her. And the guy should be doing that too.
A
When your husband stops doing hygiene. I don't even want to address that. What do you mean?
B
Well, no, I'm just saying. Yes. Sometimes, like, people let themselves go. You've heard that phrase, right? Like, you get married, you don't care anymore. You let yourself go. Yeah, don't do that. Don't do that. Like, and if your spouse does that, you're not going to change them by telling them not to do that. You got to change it by you setting the example and you getting in shape and you eating right. You crushing at life to where your spouse is. Like, dude, I got, I can't keep my hands off this person. Like, I gotta get after them. That's what you gotta do, man. It's all like, your life is your life and you get one shot at it, dude. So if you want to do the marriage half ass, go ahead. But I recommend against it. I think that'd be bad. And it's gonna, like, infiltrate all things in your life. Not to say I don't go through bad phases in marriage. Everybody goes through, like, dry phases. Or you don't have a connection as much, or you're just find yourself arguing about certain stuff or whatever. I don't know.
A
Stops brushing his teeth once in every two weeks.
B
No, get them, get them like a fun toothbrush or something that makes it fun. Yeah, find a way, man. Find a way. Like, brush his teeth for him. Make it sexy. Like, I don't, you know, don't let them do that. Okay, sorry, we've gone too long.
A
No, that's, that's shameful though. Like, what are you doing? Like, you gotta, you don't want to Be the couple that is.
B
Lets themselves go.
A
Yeah. Because then at the end, it's like, what. What do you have? One person that's, like, kept themselves together, the other person's falling apart. Like, when you guys are retired and done with all the nonsense that you have to do, keeping up house and raising children, stuff like that. Like, you want to be in decent shape that you could do stuff like you ingest. You're not. You're not, like, old there yet, but, like, you guys, you're kind of old, man. But, like, you guys go on. On the. On the weekend to a beach, and you'll go and do fun things. What if you were a regular American dude that I've worked with, like, in New York and just, like, all obese and just tired and sleeping?
B
I just want to watch a lot of people, man.
A
Yeah, don't do that. That's not fair to the person.
B
Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Glow in the dark. Musical toothbrush. That would be fun. Yeah. Maybe get, like, the bubblegum flavor one or whatever. Be like, honey, I love you.
A
I don't know.
B
All right, sorry. This thing's going off the rails. Traditional marriage with a ceremony and pastor and all that. Still valid. I. I don't. You know, I don't know. We got married on a beach. Me and Jess got married on a beach. I said, sweetie, I can get off this weekend. You want to go get married in the Keys. And we went to Key west and got married on the be beach. Bella was in the wedding with us, and we were pregnant with Aiden. I was like, it's one thing if you got a baby mama with, like, one kid, but I can't have two kids and not be married. We were straight trailers, But. But as far as, like, doing it, you know, church or with the pastor, I don't. I mean, I don't know, man. It's between you. It's between a man, a woman, and God. And so, yeah, I'm doing it within the realm of the government that I live in and making it, like, a legal thing in the government that I live in. But whatever. I guess in the end, it's whatever.
A
There's three aspects to that. So I got married way before, like, our official anniversary because we did it in, like, with the license, and then we had a hall, and then we had a church. All that is on, honestly, I think all that's if I were to track back when I got married. I have it on videos when I proposed to Christina and she said, yeah, and they're like, well, now we're engaged. And now we're engaged for a full year. It's like, that's retarded.
B
Like, a year.
A
I made you however long because you had to book the hole. And she wanted to do this whole thing. I know, but whatever she wants.
B
That's why I love Bella, because Bella was like, they got engaged.
A
Yeah.
B
And then a little bit of time went on, and she's like, dad, I don't want to wait to get married. Like, I don't wanna. I don't understand. What's the point? And I feel like the only reason we're waiting is to plan out some big wedding a year from now. And I don't care about a big wedding. Like, I don't. Do I have to? I was like, no, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do. She's like, I'd rather wake up every day the next 365 days married, then not be married and not do the things that come along with being married. And then just one year from now, have some big wedding. And I was like, no, get. Get married. Like, if you. If you guys know you're getting married, like, get married. They went to the courthouse, like, two weeks later and got married, dude.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, it's. I love that. I'm like. And I. And I think society's going back to that. I think the pendulum went so far to, like, these giant weddings, this big crazy stuff and throwing money around. And I think maybe society's like, huh. I don't know if that makes that much sense, dude. Like, let's just be married.
A
Yeah, it does. It. It honestly doesn't. It's very stressful. But, you know, Christina was saving up for.
B
I hate planning stuff that long, dude.
A
I hate it, too. And then they ask you what color the flower. She was saving it for years. She wanted that. She really wanted to do this. And we did it, you know? So I was like, all right. Like, I don't. I don't care at all. But I think the marriage is. The marriage is just a promise that you've made to somebody. Like, I made a prom. I said, hey, I want to be with you forever. And then she said, yeah. And then she puts a ring on, which is. I even think the ring is just. That's like a whole De Beers scam about with the diamond, all that.
B
But mine was 100 bucks, bro.
A
Yeah, it's just a promise.
B
Mine was 100 bucks, bro. We got rings at the mall in Leesburg on the way to the Keys.
A
The lake square. Nice.
B
But Jess got some warranty with it that, like, she can get it cleaned and dipped and everything. Every year, dude. So it's still in, like, cool shape, but, yeah, it's whatever. I don't know. I think there's freedom in all that. Like, it's whatever. You do it before a government. Great. Don't do it before a government. It's great too. Whatever. But keep in mind, it's between.
A
Yeah.
B
The man, a woman, and God.
A
Yeah. Agreed.
B
Is a traditional marriage of ceremony and pastor and also valid in God's eyes? Maybe overrides the previous unmarried sex partners a person has had? No. I don't. I mean, I don't know, like the previous. I'm not totally sure what the question's saying. Or is everything since the first time a person has had sex just adult? Yeah, everything since the first time a person has had sex just adultery in God's eyes. No fornication. But, yeah, anything. If you're not in the covenant and having sex, like, before you're married, then it would be viewed as fornication. But I. I don't know, maybe there's some great scholar who can say, oh, no, no. Like, if you're engaged, that's. That biblically, that's the same as being married. So you could still get down. I. I don't know. I don't know. I would get married. That's.
A
I'd also advise against it.
B
Yeah. Get married before ever getting down. Hold on, we gotta run through this thing. I hope I'm getting what I'm trying to say across. Yeah, I think you did.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. Btw, quick shout out on top. And Raven and Matt for making all this possible. I stopped listening to every single other podcast because this right here is truly fertilizer. That's awesome. No, that's so. What an honor for somebody to say that.
A
Yeah.
B
P.S. i love trees and plants. I knew I like this guy. And it wouldn't surprise me if the world around us is more sentient than we realize. And it's possible trees and plants respond to a higher frequency or positive vibrations when we feel love for them. It's totally true. Like, only people who don't have a food forest don't understand it. That's why it's always funny when people say, oh, no, that doesn't happen. It's like, yeah, you haven't experienced that. Maybe they respond with a higher vibration or frequency. Love you guys. I don't know about vibrations and frequency, but I know that, like, it's good for them if you love them and they love you back.
A
They don't love. Love you back.
B
Next question.
A
Next question. In Matthew 10:38 and Matthew 16:24, Jesus asked His disciples to each take his cross or take up his cross and follow me. This is before Jesus was put on the cross. What does he mean?
B
So I think ultimately, what it means to.
A
I'll pull up the second one, I guess.
B
All right. I'll go to 1038. He that. Well, I think he kind of explains it, actually, in this section. I'll start in verse 32. I'm in. I'm in. Matthew 10:32. Whosoever, therefore, shall confess me before men him will I confess also before my Father, which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men him will I also deny before my Father, which is in heaven. That. That's just another blank check passage. It's like, here's the blank check. Write it out. For as much as you want balls in your court, brother, think not that I am come to send peace on earth. I. I came not to send peace, but a sword. We've unpacked that before. Like a. Like a precision sword, like a. Like a surgeon's knife to cut things out of us. That's not compatible with him. For I'm come to set a man at variance against his father. And in this case, he's talking about division in your own life. For I'm come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. This is identity, right? Like Jesus is saying, your identity must be in me even more than your identity is in your own family. And you must be willing. If those people hate me, you must be willing to step aside from that, step back from that and claim me first. But that doesn't mean the story's over. You can do that, and then God can win your family to him as well. He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. We talked about that before, too, where Jess was like, I'll never love anything more than I love the kids. And then it was like one of the great days of our life in our walk with God was the day where she was like, hey, you're right. I finally understand. You're supposed to love God more than your kids. Because, like, I used to love the kids. At this level. And I loved God below that level. But now I love God up on this level, up on this higher level more than the kids. And it's gave me the ability to love the kids more than I could love them before.
A
Right. The idea of the. The wine skin.
B
Right. Yeah. Stretching. And he that takes not his cross and follow. And follows after me is not worthy of me. Here's a good explanation. He that finds his life shall lose it. And he that loses his life for my sake shall find it. So I think that.
A
Were they asking if he was prophesying his death? It seems like both, but, like, that was pretty common for the Romans to crucify people. So, like, the idea of talking about that cross, like, I'm. Did they all. Did they always, like, carry their cross to where they would be crucified?
B
Yeah.
A
Okay. So, yeah, that's.
B
Yeah, they made people carry their cross. But I think when it talks about, like, carrying the cross. Yeah, it's. It's talking about death to self, death to your own will. Like, if you study out Jesus life, you can. You could sum it up in, like, a sentence by saying, like, I did the will of my father in heaven. And so it's no different for us. Like, to take our cross is for us to die. Carry that cross to the place of death. Death, die to self In. In our life now, all we want to do is the will of God.
A
And that's what this one is about. 1624, limited.
B
I'm still taking his cross and follow me. Yeah. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it. And whosoever will lose his life for my. For my sake shall find it. For what. What is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?
A
Or.
B
What do you think you should give in exchange for your soul? Like, think, like, think about it. It's only reasonable. Like, if he's bought me back from the dead, that I would say, okay, my life belongs to you now. And that's. And that's taking up. And I've heard other people say it, like. Like there was this. I used to keep in touch with this black dude. Pastor King was. His name was Blind. He had dreadlocks. It was really cool, dude. Like, really deep dude. And I would call him and ask him stuff. Like, in the beginning, I think, like, some of the stuff I asked him was crazy.
A
He was blind. Like, completely blind.
B
Totally blind, dude. Totally blind. And, like, he was my guy. I wish I could track him down, dude. I know he lived In Orlando. And he would come out here for, like, meetings and stuff. I'd see him at, like, little Bible studies. We were part of the same friend group. And then I just kind of lost touch with that friend group. But he helped me out a ton, dude. This guy's. It's his name. I don't even know, like, his first name or whatever, but his name is Pastor King. It's what he went by. And he was blind, dreadlocks, and lived in Orlando. Love to track him down. If anybody can help me out. If you track down my mug shot, track down Pastor King, too.
A
We'll find him.
B
But he told me one time, we were just on the phone, just. Just cutting up, and I was saying, like, yeah, I just love drugs, dude. Like, I don't understand why I have to stop doing drugs. Like, I love God, but I just love drugs too, you know? Like, it's just part of who I am. It's part of my life. And he said that to me. He said, I think drugs is your cross. So that was an interesting statement, and it was powerful on me. But I guess in the end, if that. If drugs, like, was my identity, like, a normal person, their family is their identity. I didn't really have an identity in my family, but I did have an identity in drugs. And just the love of the lifestyle, like, in a certain sense, like, that was my cross that I had to pick up and. But. But it's bigger than just that. Like, that. Like, I think that was the main point, just trying to get across. Like, for you to pick up your cross and carry it, you're gonna have to stop doing drugs. But it's really the surrendering of your own will to God's will.
A
It's one of many crosses, I guess. Here we go. This is another long question. Has a heart at the end. From Elizabeth. I inherited my great grandfather's. My great. Yeah, my great grandfather's was. Collection of rocks. What's that mean?
B
She just threw the. Was in there on accident.
A
All right. Collection of rocks, crystals, and Indian artifacts that he found himself. I've heard these items may be doorways to demons. From Laura Baker. Laura Baker says something along the lines on her website. I also have been a rockhound and have a collection of crystals. But now I'm worrying having them in my home is putting space, putting us in spiritual danger. I would love Matt's input on that.
B
I'm not a specialist on, like, the whole crystals thing. You know, what's weird is I was just telling Jess yesterday for Some reason. Oh, somebody had a dragon statue in their yard when we were driving by or that was on Wednesday. We were going to Coinboy's birthday. And then I was telling her, like, I knew it. My mom's good friend when I was a kid, Carol Richardson used to have these crystals of dragons, like in shapes of dragons and stuff, stuff. And I was just saying, like, yeah, man. After, because Jess saw the dragon thing. She's like, oh, they're tied to the occult. She's like, that's what you would say. And I was like, yeah, yeah. Knowingly or unknowingly, like they're, they're tying in with the occult. This chick, she had all these crystals of dragons and like, it was just talking about how, you know, she's divorced and stuff has kind of, you know, gone. Not necessarily great. So it's like things that come along with, like cursed things. I just would be mindful, I would be mindful of having dragons. If Satan is identified as a dragon in the scripture, I would be mindful to not have stuff like that now. Crystals in the earth, like that. God's in charge of the earth. So if you go dig up crystals and you got Chris right on, that's all. I love rocks too. I love everything in the natural realm. And I think rocks are created through a process too. And crystals are created through a process that makes them even rad or too that like they're in the earth and then some process happens and it makes them really cool. But any kind of artifacts, like Indian artifacts or crystals that you're buying at the flea market or whatever, I'm pretty sure those things have been like, so called prayed over or curses put on them. There's a, there's a whole culture around that. So I personally wouldn't be buying crystals or especially attributing any like, good powers to them. I wouldn't be doing any of that. Right? I wouldn't have if. But if I dug a crystal out of the earth and like, cut, cut the rock open, it was a crystal. But yo, this is rad, man. Look at this, look at this crystal. I just got that. So I think it's cool for that because all things belong to God in the end anyway. But yeah, Indian artifacts. Like Aiden found a rad arrowhead when we were hunting two years ago in Georgia. Like that. He's got it. Like, that's rad, dude. Some human on the planet like tied that thing to a thing and was, you know, shooting a bow and killing animals with it. In Georgia, where we Hunt at some other human was hunting there, however many hundreds of years ago. Like, that's rad.
A
You heard the story about David with that, the arrowhead, right. His most recent camping trip that he went with Jack, he was like, they were getting bad vibes kind of the whole time and the last night or the day after.
B
He kind of always says stuff like that, though.
A
Yeah, yeah. He's always like spooked out, like looking and stuff. But one of the guys, I think like the groundskeeper for this, the campground, he went up to David and I think he went up to Jack first and he was like, hey, did he see anything interesting on. On the ground? And Jack's like, oh. And he's not paying attention and he goes to David, he goes, did you see anything interesting on the ground? Like, and then like, you know, wants him to find this thing and he finds the arrowhead and David, like sees it and he's like, it just had like bad energy. The dude had like, bad energy.
B
Really?
A
Just dropped it. Yeah, but he was.
B
Yeah. Okay, here's another thing, dude. Here's another thing that ties into that.
A
We're gonna come. We're gonna come back to the super chat in a second.
B
If somebody has brought me a thing, a rock, a gem, if you will, I'll hold on to it and just kind of see what happens in the next couple days. I don't know if that's right, wrong or whatever, sideways, but I'm just saying I'll be mindful of what's at. Just like sometimes I'll play certain music and then I'll be mindful of what happens the next.
A
Like how you feel about that necessarily feelings.
B
But just be mindful of like, what's happening. Where are my thoughts going? Where are my thoughts when I start to pray? Is that song in my head when I'm trying to pray? Is it like, what exactly is the influence of this so called frequency or vibration or words or whatever? Yeah, same thing with like any type of so called artifacts I would maybe hang on to and just kind of be mindful of what's. You don't want to bring a cursed thing in the home. Ultimately you want to be mindful. You don't bring a cursed thing in the home. Now as a thing that you dug up out of the earth. Cursed? I don't think so. But if somebody's put curses on stuff and you take it into your home, I would just be mindful of that. That's just where I'm at with it.
A
I. I'm not prepared to go, like, as deep down into this as. As I'd like.
B
Well, I don't know a lot about it either. I know there's a whole culture of, like, the crystals and stuff.
A
So here's some crystals you've got from the ephod, the breastplate. They have 12 types of crystals. So carbuncle, topaz, sardius, emerald, sapphire, diamond, jade. There's. There's a bunch of these kinds of things. And they didn't put them on their chest because they were pretty.
B
No answered questions by. By the. By that.
A
As a matter of fact. Hey, Sean. Sean will probably know a lot more about this because these crystals, they are. They're like natural, geological, and not anomalies, but they're creations within the Earth, within what God created.
B
David, even before he. What was it, man? He was consulting that. That was it. Abiathar was the priest that he said, like, bring that. Bring the breastplate and let's. Let's consult God, buy the breastplate, and somehow that thing would answer.
A
I don't think it answers. I don't think that these things.
B
Sure, dude. I thought I just read it in 1 Samuel recently.
A
What I'm saying is I don't think these things answer. I think these things have certain properties that transmute this reality to where you can hear God.
B
Yeah, yeah. I don't mean that. The rock. Amen. Yeah.
A
So people in the occult will formulate these things into a dragon and then see that imbue with the spirit. So it's like. Like, all right, you've got these rocks. They are tools. What are they being used for? What have they been used for before?
B
Right. I could see if that thing created an environment somehow to where you could hear the voice of God. Yeah, I don't know. But somehow they consulted that and they were told to. Like that. Like, that's why they had them. Like, that's why the breastplate was made. But I don't know. I'm not a specialist on, like, the crystals and stuff, but I do try to be mindful of not bringing cursed things in my home.
A
So that's like. Like you said, if somebody. If somebody gave it to you, I'm like, I'll be like, thank you, but. And I'm not taking that. That if you found this in the earth, like. But then again, I don't know if you picked up, like, a curse, something from the ground.
B
I don't think that's really a thing, dude. If you find something in the earth,
A
well, an arrowhead you find an arrowhead that's been fashioned into an arrowhead, maybe even killed somebody that's been made of a certain material that has, like, a vibrational frequency to it. I would say just, you know, be careful with that. Like, understand that these things, they were used in antiquity because of their properties. So they are used today because of their property.
B
Hijacked.
A
Yeah, it's hijacked, sure.
B
But.
A
But, you know, these are all tools of God. I was just. Hey, if you don't know what you're doing, like, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not picking that thing up and bringing in my house with my kids. That's. That's it. We had two super chats. So you want to read Those people
B
are just giving us money for no reason.
A
Yeah, that's what. That's what they'd be doing.
B
Don't they already pay for Patreon?
A
Guys, join the Patreon. And also, I see that there's half of you guys still in the. The Nephilim Death Squad channel. I'm gonna end the stream there because you're just not listening. And we're gonna go on for probably, I don't know how much longer, so a long time.
B
Dude, why? Are you in a hurry today?
A
No, but you guys got five minutes.
B
It's not even up yet.
A
Thanks for reading and answering my questions so eloquently. Next Q A. Be ready for some deep questions I've never heard or asked or answered. I've never heard, asked or answered. So, David, scrub, I guess he's in the Patreon, and he asked a question, so thanks. Thanks.
B
Yeah. You got it, brother. Another one for tuning in.
A
Stacks. Stacks Farmstead, what's up? Two or three gathered in my name. Thanks for the show. Thanks for the show, fellas.
B
No, thank you. Stacks Farmstead, you're the man.
A
Thank you. Thank you. Let's finish that question. This is like, we're doing such a bad job here. We're just super slow.
B
I blame you. I'm just kidding. We're not in a rush, dude. Like, there's no reason the Q A can't just go, dude, we're just. We're just hanging. There's not, like, a format. We're just doing our thing, man.
A
We're trying to answer.
B
There's time for a second question.
A
Okay. You want to read it?
B
Oh, I like this question. Jesus said, give to Caesar. What? Caesar's. I've heard Matt say this means we should pay our taxes, but taxes today are outrageous. And horribly regulated. Agreed. I'm wondering if Matt thinks using all of the tax loopholes are okay in Christ's eyes. 100. I think they set up that system and you're foolish to not use the so called loopholes.
A
Like I like when people complain about Trump they go he didn't pay taxes. I was like, like every single rule that he used is one that you made day.
B
They, this person is right. The amount of taxation we have on us is pandemonium, bro. Especially depending on what state you live in. Like say your, say your commission based sales. I think I used to get taxed at 39, I think was the tax rate on commission based sales. And by the grace of God, I live in a state that doesn't have a state tax. But like the people that were reps in California had like a 13 state tax. So that's 52% of their check is gone.
A
Why are you working more than half
B
their check is, is gone to so called government. Before you even do anything, before you pay your property tax, before you pay
A
like oh, shout out to this retail
B
tax, like land tax. He knows what's up.
A
He got trying to get rid of property tax here.
B
They're doing it, they're doing it. But you see what I'm saying, like we are taxed at such an insane level that yeah, you, you have to use the. I wouldn't even call them loopholes. They're not loopholes. They're. It's part of that structure. They're saying like if you don't want to get clobbered and destroyed and get half your money taken, use these loopholes, use these write offs, use these things that we offer you. If you don't use them, it's kind of foolish to not use them. Yeah, would be, would be my take.
A
Yeah, I, I agree.
B
Because otherwise you're just throwing money away. Also because it's not, it's not like our tax money is going to anything relevant ever. No, they were like, oh, but it goes to something. No it doesn't, it doesn't go to. They have a money machine, you know that people talk about like oh, he's got a money tree in the backyard. The government actually has a money tree. They have a machine that they can push buttons and it makes money.
A
Which is what I said.
B
So they don't have to take the money. And every time they do that they're taxing us. So even, so even say like, say you save 100k, right? So you save 100k.
A
You really save like 90k.
B
They run the money machine. From the time you save that 100k till the time you spend it, they run the money machine. X amount of time making billions of dollars. Your 100k does not buy 100k worth of stuff anymore. Anymore. So. So, so it doesn't matter what that amount is. It matters what its purchasing power is. So now the purchasing power of that 100k that you saved, let's just say it's 80 or 70. Well, you just got taxed at 20 or 30k without even paying taxes. Like, we're being taxed in so many ways that, like, yeah, I would use the. I don't even call them loopholes. They're not loopholes. It's like you have to use those to not get clobbered. And again, your money is not going to anything relevant when you pay taxes. All the shirts are in.
A
Give it to me. I can have one. I'm.
B
I'm.
A
Can I have one? One. Give me a shirt. I don't know what size it is, guys.
B
The.
A
I only have the hoodies open right now. Just came in.
B
Those are fresh.
A
What's the. Let me see the front.
B
I don't know if you're into the front, dude.
A
The straight Bible hood. That looks. That looks tight. That goes hard right across the. Right across the sh.
B
Way. Yeah. So I always like front center because the old skate shirts always had front center.
A
That looks good.
B
Gray Bible in the front.
A
Those are clean.
B
That's the hoodie.
A
Oh, it's too hot for the hoodie. It's hot, it's hot.
B
I know. We got keys too, though. We got teas too. Mason, do not make a mess of that, please.
A
I don't trust her. That's dope. Very exciting. Very exciting.
B
I could do like the mean voice to Mason, but I don't like. I really appreciate her.
A
Yeah, she runs. She actually runs stuff over here. Here, let me. Let me put that back for you. Go ahead. Keep addressing this question.
B
Well, no, I think that was it. It's just. Yeah, you should. If. If the government that's going to take your money gives you options to pay less money, then, yeah, take those options. You're still always going to be paying something. So you're still going to be paying to Caesar. What? Caesar's. Unless you're part of the 501C3 system, because then. Because then you don't have to pay taxes. But then the world's going to look at you and say, how come they don't have to pay taxes? We do so Anyway, which is whatever. You're not automatically bad if you're a 501C3. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying like, that system takes in a lot of money to call itself a not for profit, which just sounds a little deceptive, that word, not for profit. Just it sounds like nobody's getting any money. It's like. Well, no, everybody there is getting money, man.
A
This is crazy. We'll read this from Sean from Kingdom in context. $50 showing. You don't have to. You have to do that.
B
Sean did that? Yeah. I love this dude, man. He's like the. This dude is like a good dude. Not because the money. I'm just saying, like, he gave me the money. We went on his show and he was just very kind hearted. You could just tell this is like a good kind man. Yeah, yeah. And so I was kind of stupid on that show too, because it was the beginning and I was really nervous and I don't know how to talk when there's like four people talking. And I don't do good if I don't keep talking the whole time. So it's kind of.
A
You're doing it right after.
B
That's what I'm saying. Sean, thanks, dude. Thank you a lot for that, man.
A
Read his question.
B
Keep up the good work, gents. Q. Some believe the IFA, the measuring basket in Zechariah 5, 6, 11 is speaking of a vimana or the Indian flying thing. Look up the image of an efa. What say you? Let's look it up.
A
An ifa. Let's check that out.
B
Yeah.
A
You know what a vimana is?
B
It's those things that look like kind of like bells almost that are on like the Indian, like the Hindu temples. There's a Hindu temple in Ocala that I drive past and yeah, like all around it, it has like these bell shaped things. But I've seen this stuff on TV where it shows them like flying around. They were vimanas that like the Indian people I had back in the day.
A
Yeah, let me. I'm gonna take his question.
B
I don't know. Isn't the ifaw a. Yeah, it was a measurement.
A
It's a measurement of something. But what is this?
B
It's like, I don't know, there's IFAs and like OMERS and stuff. Was the way they were measuring in the Bible?
A
People do seem to think that that is related to a UFO in the Bible. I got to do some more research, but let's.
B
Is that the one with the storks and stuff. Is that this? What. What was the passage again?
A
Yeah, look. Look that up. Zechariah. 6. What did he say? Zechariah? 5, 6, 11. We're gonna look that. That passage up and check that out.
B
I mean, let me.
A
Let me pull that up here.
B
Five, six through 11.
A
Yeah, five, six.
B
Let's read it. All right,
A
got it. It's up. It's.
B
I'm starting. Five. Then the angel that talked with me went forth and said unto me, me, lift up now your eyes and see. What is this that goes forth? And I said, what is it? And he said, this is an ifa. My. My note even in my Bible says a basket or measuring container that goes forth. He said, moreover, this is their resemblance through all the earth and behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead.
A
And this talent is like. Like a whole year's pay or like 300.
B
I don't know, some kind of measurement. Yeah, yeah. And this is a woman that sits in the midst of the ifa. Dude, that does sound intriguing. If it would be a vimana. And he said, this is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ifa, and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. Wait, so he took, like a. Like a weight of lead and threw it into vimana and it, like, made it tank. Is that what it's saying? Then lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there came out two women. And the wind was in their wings. For they had wings like the wings of a stork. I knew. Yeah. I thought this was a story about the stork work. And they lifted up the IFA between the earth and the heaven. Then said I to the angel that talked with me, where do these bear the ifa? And he said unto me to build it a house in the land of Shinar, and it shall be established and set there upon her own base. I don't know, dude. I don't know. I have all questions in this.
A
I have all, all questions.
B
Well, yeah, it's like Babylon also seems like control the world economy like this. Like Shinar. I think that's making a reference to Babylon. I don't know. Tower of Babel part two. Something that's going on, man. Like that Bamana crashes the earth, and then it's like Tower of Babel.
A
There's a T shirt. Okay, give me a T shirt right now. Thank you. Tell me you gave me a lot. Okay, large is good. I'm keeping this.
B
Matt, you gotta pay for that. I'm not paying for this can people buy those online?
A
They can buy this? Yeah, they can buy.
B
Don't take your shirt off, dude. No. Oh, you got that tank top, bro. You look jack top. I was surprised yesterday when you had the tank top on. I always thought you were just, like, very modest. I don't want to say wimpy, but just, like, I didn't think you really had the guns like that.
A
Now, the problem is that my. My shoes don't match, but that's all good. All right, cool, bro.
B
You look good in that straight Bible. Let's see the back.
A
Yeah, it does look. It does look really good. Yeah, no, it was. We were gonna do a color one, and he was like, no, let's just do black and white. Good choice. I agree.
B
We could still do a color one. Yeah.
A
I mean, that's on the website too, but yeah.
B
I don't know. I don't know. Because it. Because it's interesting. This whole thing is interesting. If it is just a basket or a measuring container.
A
It does. Then it doesn't make any sense. But there's. Then there's a woman in it, and she's. She's wicked.
B
Did.
A
And this. This also draws back to, like that. Every time the queen.
B
Well, there came out two women. There came out two women in verse nine, Right.
A
But before that, in verse seven, he's talking about one. One woman. I get these.
B
It's almost like you wrote it. It's like, woman, woman. It doesn't matter if there's 1, 2, or 7, it's still woman.
A
My wife says the same thing. She just doesn't know.
B
Behold, there was lift up a talent in this. And this is a woman that sits in the midst of the ifa, right? He said, this is wickedness. He cast it into the midst of the Epha. And he cast the way to let upon the mouth thereof of. Then lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there came out two women. And they. And the wind was in their wing. So it was one woman. But then he threw the lead upon the mouth thereof. And then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there came out two women. And the wind was in their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. So it's female entities with wings.
A
I don't know.
B
Weird. Bro.
A
We got to talk to Sean. Yeah, he's got to talk to Sean about.
B
Sean should come on and unpack that, dude. I don't know.
A
Sean should come here. In real life.
B
Life. Where does he live?
A
He lives far. I.
B
He lives like, he needs a vacation, though.
A
You need a vacation?
B
Florida dude. Yeah.
A
Come to Disney World. Take part in the occult.
B
He's not into that, dude. He would love the Friday group. Lisa's Friday group.
A
Oh, yeah, that should come.
B
Do the show and hang with them. Do the Friday thing with them. He would crush, dude.
A
We can figure that out. We'll talk. We'll talk to him eventually.
B
Then lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there came out two women. And the wind was in their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. And they lifted up the IFA between the earth in the heaven. Then said I to the angel that talk with me, where do these bear the Ephod? And he said to me, to build a house in the land of shine. So I don't know, dude. So let's just use vamana everywhere. It says that starting they lifted up this the vimana between the earth and the heaven. I mean, that makes sense. Then said the angel talking to me, where do these bear the vimana? And he said to me, to build it a house in the land of Shinar, and it shall be established and set there upon her own base. I don't know, dude. Dude, I don't know. Top doesn't like when I say I don't know, but I'm totally comfortable because
A
I. I don't even know.
B
Looking at a passage like that and just being like, yeah, I don't know, man.
A
This is one of those passages that it seems like it could mean two things. Like when they're talking about the King of Tire, they're talking about Satan, and then they're also talking about an earthly king. They're talking about this thing that people think is a measurement or what they're using for measurement. But it also sounds like they're talking about a capsule that.
B
Like a basket or a measuring container, you know, could be understood as that. But why is that flying? And why is there a chick in it? But is that where the imagery comes from, where the stork, you know, brings a container with a baby in it?
A
Oh, I don't know.
B
Okay, but before that, earlier in verse five, it says then I at the beginning, right before that says, then I turned and lifted up my eyes and looked up a hold of flying scroll. So before that he sees a flying scroll, he said to me, what do you see? And I answered, I see a flying scroll. The length thereof is 20 cubits and the breadth thereof is 10. So it's like a rectangle type scroll. Then he said, Unto me. This is the curse that goes forth earth over the face of the whole earth. For everyone that steals shall be cut off as on this side according to it, and everyone that swears shall be cut off as on that side according to it. I don't know, man.
A
The Bible's just crazy.
B
Some might say that applies to lost people and fake Christians, man. Like the ones that steal and ones that swear, right?
A
Yeah.
B
Like, not saying cuss words, but swearing. Like. Like, we've already gone through that. Yeah. I'll bring it forth. Say at the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief and in the house of him that swears falsely by my name. Yeah, so that's. So that's what it's talking. Swears falsely by my name. And it shall remain in the midst of his house and shall consume it, which is what a curse does. Consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof. I don't know. That's a wild passage. But, Sean, we really appreciate it a lot. Dude.
A
Yeah, dude, man. 50. That was. That was really just. It. It's. It's crazy, too, because we don't deserve it. So let's. Let's finish reading the. The. Some more questions here. Boom. I think. Were we done with Elizabeth? She said thank you for the amazing podcast. What?
B
No, no. God brought you to Christ, but I'm just really grateful for you to make a statement like that. Salvation of my kids, too, I think the most honorable thing you could say, man. No, but we're just all. We're just all just, like, doing our thing. We're not ultimately, like, if you come to God, it's because God's drawing you. And there might be some humans or some situations or things that happen on the earth that are part of that process. I'm honored to be a part of that process. Us. But, like, if you're coming to Christ, that's because he's drawing your heart.
A
Yeah.
B
Amen for that.
A
Awesome. Awesome. All right, next question from blappity, blap, blap. Hey, Matt, I finished reading the Old Testament and have gotten through the Gospels and Acts, and I'm loving it.
B
Amen, brother. The Acts and the Gospels make more sense in light of the Old Testament, right?
A
Yeah. I noticed how prevalent the theme of demonic possession is in. In the New Testament, but doesn't really show up in the Old Testament. Do you have any theories on why that is? Maybe all the demons converged when Jesus showed up.
B
Okay, that's an interesting thought, but one of the weird Things is. Is that like when he's casting out demons, that's the context of when he says, now the kingdom of God is upon you. Which is. Which is intriguing. Which is very intriguing, because you don't really see demons being cast out in the Old Testament. I can't even think of one off the top of my head.
A
Is it because people didn't have power over them at that time?
B
Something to that extent. But so Jesus shows up and they. And they. Because they say, what new doctrine is this? You want to pull that up? I think it's in Mark where it says, like, he's casting out demons. And they say, what new doctrine is this? So doctrine isn't always understood to be like arguing over text and saying, like, this is my theology. Sometimes doctrine shows up in real life. It's. They're watching it, they're witnessing it. They're saying, what. What new teaching is this? What new doctrine is this?
A
Can we go. It's mark 117. Oh, sorry.
B
There we go. Okay, hold on.
A
Let's go back 27.
B
Let's go back a little bit. There was in their synagogue. We're in Mark 1:23. There was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. That's why they say, like, if you. If you have an unclean spirit, you do unclean things. If you have the Holy Spirit, you do holy things even above that.
A
So they're in Capernaum straight and straightway, on the Sabbath day, entered into the synagogue and taught. And they were astonished at his doctrine. Can we look at what the word means?
B
Yeah.
A
How they're translating that. Didacty.
B
Don't they call it that? Isn't that a thing?
A
Yeah, or didactic. Didactic. Auto. Didactic. I gotta look up the root word of that teaching, that which is taught. Doctrine, teaching concerning something. So it just means.
B
Let's go back to the statement now. So that. So the statement is. Is.
A
Oh, you want to go to the Scripture or. Yeah, okay. Where are we at? We gotta go all the way down. There we go.
B
No, I mean, we can go to that vert, but if you just hit the back button, it'll take us back to the. Okay, okay, go back up. Keep going. There's. They went into comparison straight on the saddle day here to the synagogue and taught. And they were astonished at his teachings because he taught them as one that had authority and not as the scribes. Imagine that the scribes were boring. Imagine that everybody was going to church and it was boring. That's what it says. It says that they look. They were astonished at his doctrine.
A
Because it was alive.
B
Yeah, exactly. Because he had authority. Like, it. Like what he was saying carried some weight. And when the scribes taught, it didn't carry any weight. It was just dudes that were good at winning debates. Intellectual, literally. They could win debates and argue with the other guy and beat him in a debate. But it didn't mean anything. Everybody walked away from it. It's like so unsatisfied and so unfulfilling. But then this dude comes on the scene and they're astonished because he has some authority. It actually matters what he's saying. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, let us alone. Plural, right. What have we to do with thee, Thou Jesus of Nazareth? Are you come to destroy us? Us? I know who you are. The Holy One of God. They knew who he was. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, be muzzled. I think. I think is how that's translated. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, hold thy peace and come out of him.
A
I hold thy peace. Like, not peace, but like, don't say anymore.
B
Yeah, like, shut up. When it says that in the Bible, like, hold your. Hold your piece means like, shut up.
A
Is that like a curse?
B
That's muzzled.
A
It's kind of rude.
B
I mean, this is how he got down, man. And then, you know, he's saying, it's not. It's man's job to preach the gospel, not demon's job. And when the unscle. When the unclean spirit had torn him and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed in so much that they questioned among themselves saying, what thing is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority commandethy even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. And immediately his fame spread around throughout all the region. Roundabout Galilee. Yeah. As far as I can tell, this is a new thing when it. When Jesus brings. Casting out demons on the scene, clean. That's a. That's a new thing. We don't see that they're saying, what. What is this?
A
They're not unfamiliar with the unclean spirits either, but they're.
B
But they're not familiar with them being cast out. And I think there's somewhere where it says this. Now you see the kingdom of God has come upon you. Yeah, like he was saying that. Like, now it's showed up in full force and now you're seeing that the war is on, that there's a dark kingdom. There's a kingdom of darkness, and there's a kingdom of light. And now you see the war is on. Gone. Like. Like, now you see it now that. Now these demons, these entities that are on Team Darkness, they're being cast out. I'm taking authority over them.
A
Right.
B
So it's wild, man.
A
What was the question? You remember the question? Oh, yeah. Why they show up in the New Testament rather than the Old Testament? I guess there's no solution for it.
B
I don't know. But it's interesting. He says, like, yeah, they all converge at once. Like, did they all. I don't know. It seems like demons were definitely. And evil spirits are active. Like. Like God sends an evil spirit to plague Saul. Yeah, right. Because David goes and plays the harp, and it, like, soothes Saul from that evil spirit that's plaguing him, which is intriguing because then ultimately Saul throws a spear at him, like, while he's playing the harp. Like, ultimately, it got to a place where even the harp didn't help Saul. That's a wild story, dude. We should unpack the life of Saul because it's. Because it's wild, too.
A
Yeah. I like. I like Saul.
B
No, no, you don't.
A
I do. Like King, bro.
B
What? He ultimately says, I've played the fool. It's like, bro, no truer word has ever been spoken, man.
A
That's why I like him. I think he's. I don't know. I mean, he. He obviously failed in the end, but the. The character arc of soul is. Is. Is interesting.
B
Are people giving us all this money, dude? 20 bucks from Zelochromatic Zela. What's the name?
A
Hold on. Let's see. Morales.
B
I was close.
A
I appreciate you guys. It would be cool if you guys had Old World Florida on straight Bible. He owns a great bookstore as well. So that's Dr. Narco Longo. That conversation would. I don't know how that would go with him. And Matt, he's kind of like. He. He's. He's really. He's knowledgeable on a lot of things. He's knowledgeable on a lot of occultic knowledge. And he's also.
B
That's not really my thing.
A
Yeah, I know. And also lately his. His thing has been with the, like, the Jews and stuff like that, which is. You know, it's interesting. I don't know. I don't know. We haven't spoken to Dr. Narco Longo in, like, two years, so I don't even know if he'd be open to talking with us again. Even on NDS, but thanks for the
B
20 bucks though, bro.
A
Yeah, reach out to him. We have some more comments.
B
That's really cool that people are just sending a bunch of money.
A
Anchovy apostle sent 100.
B
100 bucks. What is happening, man?
A
You're gonna have him have a seizure over here? Penance for my pigeon toe comment. I'm sorry, Top. I was just joshing.
B
Thanks, bro.
A
100 for penance. That's crazy, dude. I thought. I thought it was kind of funny.
B
Nobody has to send any money in. I just want to make sure everybody knows that, like, that's. Everything's good. Like every. We're good. Plus Patreon, which Jessica is so grateful for. Just everybody knows that, though. I don't want anybody to be like. Like I'm being disrespectful because I appreciate you've worked hard and you have skill and talent and blood, sweat and tears is the only way you get dollars. And you're choosing to send us dollars. And so Jessica's really grateful for that too. And I'm. And I appreciate it a lot. I'm just saying, like, people don't have to send us a ton of money.
A
Yeah. If you guys really appreciate it. If you guys do want to send money, I mean, again, it is appreciated. Geez, dude. But join the Patreon, because we're going to actually give you more value than just reading stuff here. We have more comments. It's getting crazy. We're gonna be here forever, Sean.
B
I mean, Matt, Sean said another money. Yeah. I love this guy, man.
A
Go ahead and read it.
B
Peter Sahota, PhD, Indian Philosophy. Details, Sanskrit records that show treaties and worship of the same gods, specifically Indra. Between the Hittites and Indians, I could see that as early as 1500, before Christ, Moses and Joshua area era Indra controlled vimanas with his Vahara Vara. Dude, I could see that. Yeah, I would imagine that, like, whatever. Whenever you get into the Hindu gods, bro, they look wild. There's all kind of wild stuff happening. There's a lot of the gods. And yeah, I could. I would imagine that like Hittites or any of the ites that were in the promised land before Israel came in there, that those are the same entities being worshiped at any time period.
A
I wonder if like these. These places where the Hittites came from and all that, if it looked like modern day India. Like right now, there's a guy that's been standing. He's gonna stand for 12 years. He's been standing for five or six. And his feet are all, like, blown up. It's just chaos. There's a billion people. They're pooping in the streets.
B
Wait, why is. The guy's not moving? He's standing and not moving?
A
Yeah, no, he's not walking. He's just like, leaned over. But he's not. Not never sitting in order to see his God, whichever God that is in his Indian pantheon. And his legs look like they have elephant title. He's gonna die. He's not gonna make.
B
I don't like it. I don't like it.
A
It's crazy. I'm just saying, like, I wonder if those places look like modern day India, because when we look at it now, we go, what the hell is going on? This place, it's just like many gods, nobody knows what's going on. Filled with filth, you know, gross stuff. I don't want to sound racist.
B
There's a great Indian preacher today called Zach Poonin. He's alive today. Oh, yeah, Love the dude. Zach Poonin? Yeah, he's from Bangalore. So like all like, in his. And like, when he's preaching and stuff, he's always talking about, like, rupees. That's like dollars there. Yeah, like, and like scooters and stuff. Because that's just like, part of the Indian call. I like culture, man. Like the Indian culture.
A
Nancy pulled it up. Nancy's the best producer in the world. Hold on. Let's show, man.
B
That doesn't look like a good picture. Dude.
A
Dude, it's. It's a video, I think. Yeah, it's a video. Yeah. Look at that. See, so a Scroll up dance. He's like, leaning on a table, see him?
B
And he hasn't moved for five years.
A
I guess he moves, but you can't move much with feet like that, so.
B
No, I'm saying he hasn't left that spot.
A
He probably has, but he has not sat down. He's been standing, which is why all the blood has gone to his feet there.
B
That's madness.
A
It's madness. It's complete madness. All you have to do, I mean, to get salvation and to see God, is to invite him into your heart. It's really. It's actually super simple. Right, like the blank check you just said. But you could do this instead if you want, I guess. And this guy's rubbing Vaseline on his feet so they don't crack and dry.
B
No, but isn't this just like, you're saved by grace through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast. Like, if that dude's saying, I'm gonna get to God through doing this work.
A
I don't know about you, but I'm gonna be standing for the next 12 years because we got to have works too, Matt. All right, let's see. Is there any more questions here? All right, so that's good. Answer that. Thanks for the question. Blappity, blap, blap. Another question from Dill Dozer. Question for Matt with five T's. As a Christian who believes homosexuality. Homosexuality is morally wrong according to the Bible. Is it wrong to fellowship with a gay family member and their significant other?
B
Question.
A
I believe it's important to not isolate them. Them, but to show them my lack of approval along with love. But others in my family are for total isolation. I'm aware it's not a popular issue, but I'm genuinely wanting to know what to do.
B
If they're claiming to be Christians, then I would break the fellowship. I think that. I think the Scripture teaches that plainly that we judge the church. Right. We don't judge the world. So, like, if they're claiming to be Christians and doing that, we would not be in fellowship with them. If anyone claims to be a brother and does that, we would. We would back away. Right. If you're talking about people who don't know God. So it's a boy that wants to put his private parts inside of another boy. Like, I. I don't know. We could be mad at them, but I'm like, well, I'm pretty sure that's what the world does, dude. Like, they don't know God. Yeah, like, the world. The world that doesn't know God. They live in sin.
A
Like.
B
Like that is what they do. And so for me, personally, I don't. I. I will hang out. Yeah, I would. I would definitely, like, hang around. I don't really find myself in those scenarios anymore. I was around gay people quite a bit when I was a tile rep. Because in the interior design community, if there's, like, males, like, in those offices, typically they're like. They're probably of that persuasion. But I. Dude, I don't know, man. For me, personally, like, there's a big difference between, like, the gay agenda with. Right. Like. Like, the gay agenda is something totally different than a. Than a person who's gay. I'm not. I'm not saying it's okay for a boy to put his private parts inside of another boy. I'm not. I'm not saying that that's definitely not okay. But there's something much bigger and much darker and much more sinister called the gay agenda, like the lgbtqlmnop agenda, where it's, like, demanding. It's pride, it's demanding that you accept them, it's demanding that you change the definition of marriage. It's demanding all these. That's much different than, like, most people who have this persuasion to be a boy that puts his private parts inside of another boy. I don't know of any curse that would be worse than that. I. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. Like. Like, I think about that, and I think, like, if you think you had a bad day, imagine if you were a boy that wanted to be with boys. Your day wasn't that bad. Like, you didn't have that bad of a day.
A
Yeah.
B
That's how I look at it. It. So I'm like, dang, dude, in the end, these are people who don't know the Lord. Like, they don't know the Lord, and this is how it's manifested in their life. I'm like, oh, that's horrible, man. That's. That's terrible. But those are still humans that Jesus died for. Like, I always try to keep that mindset with anyone. Like, that's still a human that Jesus died for.
A
Yeah. And so I think you're right, what you're saying. Like, if they're in the church, if they're proclaiming. Because if they're in the church, then they're going to start to justify weird doctrine about what. What they're. Why what they're doing is correct.
B
Well, no, if we. Even if we just, like, Blue Letter Bible, if any man call himself a brother because. Because I think Paul's saying, like, there's a certain wickedness. He's saying you can't get out of it. You'd have to leave the world to get out of it. But it shouldn't be in the church. Does it pop up under that if any man call himself a brother? No, it's probably. There's probably some King James in there that's, like, different. Maybe just try call himself brother or call brother.
A
Not from the New Testament.
B
No. What about just like, call brother? Yeah.
A
Hold on.
B
Sometimes I remember, like. Like, sections of a passage.
A
Yeah. Now I'm getting Ezekiel. I'm sure we could pull it up. But I would say, I don't know, like, my. My aunt is gay. I don't. I don't, like, actively avoid her.
B
I don't. Yeah, I don't actively avoid them either. That's what. That's what I'm saying.
A
No, I. I don't. Like, Like, I don't. I don't like what she's doing. I, like, I guess. What do they say, Hate the sin, not the sinner. But then I'm also doing.
B
Well, There are passages where it says that God's angry with the wicked every day. So it's not to say that, like, he's not angry with people living in sin. Right.
A
But what am I doing wrong, too? Like, what I'm doing?
B
Yeah.
A
I'm not. I'm not like.
B
And I know people are like, oh, no, you're not born gay. I know that gets like, you know, imagine a gay baby. I get it. I get it. But if you've never grown up around gay people. I knew two gay people when I was a kid. They were gay as long as I can remember, bro. Like. Like before they actually started putting their private parts inside of another boy, they. They had the gay tendency. Whatever you want to call it, dude. Like, you. Like, I remember when my cousin, like, came out and I talked to my brother, I said, bro, can you believe that he's gay? Yeah, he said, bro, what are you talking about? Like, this kid's been gay since we. Since we first ever met him. Like, as soon as they were able to kind of have a personality. Not to say like a little baby doesn't have a personality, but. But since they were ever able to be an age where they had a persuasion of boys or girls, they were always that way. But that. But I don't think it's always that way. I think there are. There is a psyop to make people, like, become gay as well. I think there's a lot going on in that topic, dude. I think there's a lot going on in that topic.
A
I think it's important not to, like. Like what you were saying. Like, I'll hang out with these people if they're in the church. If they're doing some weird church stuff, I'll be like, no, no, no, it's not gonna. Like, if you're gonna start talking about the Bible, then. Then we're gonna have to go to. To battle here or, like, start. Start to, like, pervert doctrine. And then. Then I'm gonna start to go to battle, but I'm not. I think it's important to be like, well, you know, you're. You.
B
Oh, here it is. 1 Corinthians 5.
A
Your name is Matt or whatever. But I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna do your pronouns. I'm not going to take part in your fantasy.
B
Yeah, but if I get invited to a dinner and there's gay people there, I'm not gonna be like, oh, sorry, I'm not going to dinner.
A
First Corinthians 11.
B
No, five, chapter five, verse 11.
A
Okay,
B
here we go.
A
Boom.
B
I would be praying for them, man. Yeah, I'd be praying for them is what I'd be praying. I would. And I would be praying, like, from my heart, which is like, God, that's gotta feel terrible to wake up in the morning and be a man that wants to be with another man. I pray that you break that curse off of that person in Jesus name. I pray that what, Lord? Breakthrough on their heart. Break through to them. They must be born again either way. I don't, you know, I don't know that somebody just stops being gay without being born again again, but. But they got to be born again. Like, we've. We've said this topic before, bro. Like, it wasn't like, I was just gonna wake up one day and stop snoring. Oxycontins. Like, I had to be born again.
A
It's such a hard one because that. That specific malady is tied into this carnal nature that we have. Not just carnal, but it's like, it's. It's a reproductive, but it's against science.
B
It's against everything, bro. It's like, it's like against everything, but it's.
A
It's the strongest perversion, one of the hardest to break from because it's not just tied to, like, this. This. This feel good factor that you get this feeling of ecstasy, but it's also this like. Like that tool is used to recreate. So that's natural in us. And it's been flipped on its head. So, like, it's in there deep. I don't know what you do to take that out. Like, only God could take that out, but, you know. Yeah, those people are in there. So here it's. It's on the screen.
B
Okay, this goes hard, man. I wrote on. It's Starting in verse 9, 1 Corinthians 5, 9. I wrote unto you in an epistle, not the company with fornicators. We are. It's kind of interesting because we talked about this earlier. Fornication is sex outside the marriage covenant, which obviously would include homosexual sex. Right? So I. I wrote unto you in an epistle, not the company with fornicators, yet not because of homosexual sex. Can't be a marriage. It can't be a covenant between a man, a woman, And God, if it's a man and a man. So then that's what they're getting us to redefine marriage. Like, that's. Like, that's part of the LGBTQ LMNOP agenda. When we talk about. The agenda is different than somebody. And there's a lot of gay people that. I'm not saying it makes it okay, but they're like, yo, I just want to be gay. I just want to do my thing. I don't care about the pride thing. I don't care about it taking over society. I just want to do my thing. I just want to be left alone. I'm not saying that's okay. I'm just saying that, like, not every gay person is all about the gay agenda either.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
Wrote on you in an epistle. Not the company with fornicators, yet not all together with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous or extortioners or with idolaters. For then must you needs go out of the world. You can't get away from all these things. You live in the world. You live among that. That's what the question's about. Right? He's saying, you can't get away from it. You can't get away from it. You say, oh, you're gonna not fellowship. You can't get. You can't get away from it. It's in the world.
A
My mom did a thing, but this
B
is where it's in contrast.
A
Go ahead. I'll tell you after.
B
But now. Have I written unto you not to keep company of any man that is called a brother. Be a fornicator. That's. So that's what I'm talking about. Now, I've written unto you not to keep company. If it's in the world. There's no other way to get away from it. You can't get away from it. It's in the world.
A
What is a. What is a railer?
B
If any man that is called a brother be a fornicator or covetous or an idolater or a railer or a drunkard or an extortioner with such a.1. No. Not to eat. Not to have fellowship with. Right. Not. Not to have meals with. Not to partake with them. Not to be in fellowship with them if they're in the church and they're. And they're doing this. A lot of people don't understand. This is like a basic thing. Like, you're not going to get away from homosexuals in society. Yeah, but he's saying, like, if you see that in the church, get away from it. But not. But not just that. Not just that. If you see a dude cheating on his wife in the church, get away from them. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without. Do not. You judge them that are within. This is Paul saying, we judge the church. Church. We don't judge the world. What do you mean? The world's living in sin. No kidding. They don't know God. Like, like, no kidding. They're living in the craziest perversions possible. They don't know God. Yeah, but if you see it in the church, we have to judge the church. We can't let it spread within the church. But them that are without, God judges. There you have it. God's going to judge them without. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. So that's my take on it. That's where I get my. My take on that from. Is from that past passage.
A
Yeah, I could see why, like, especially if you invite that into your midst. That could be what. So what do they mean by the rest of these Idolater, Railer. Drunk, obviously. Drunkard.
B
Yeah. Sean's right. God made man upright. It means the Hebrew word, means righteous, straight, right, or upright. And we corrupt it and twist it and ruin after being born. Yeah.
A
So I'm looking up the word railer. Reviler. What does that mean? I don't even.
B
Let's pull them up. I don't know. Sometimes the King James. I mean, you can.
A
I did pull it up here, but
B
I don't pull it up in the nlt. And that makes it a little easier to read too. We don't have to look up word by word.
A
Yeah, yeah. Because that's not giving me a railer.
B
Oh, you're worried you might fall under that category?
A
Sometimes I want to know.
B
Yeah, I love that top.
A
What?
B
Oh, yeah. That you're like. Yeah, let me look at. Let me make sure I'm not doing that.
A
Immoral person, covetous, idolater. Reviler. I still don't really know what that word means.
B
I thought you said railer. Was it reviler.
A
Revealer is reviler. Railer is reviler. The Loydoros.
B
So I don't know, getting all together for this world, the covenants for extortion with idolaters for them as he needs go out of the world. You're not going to get away from all this wickedness in the world. Like, that's what's funny. When like the boomers especially, and the Republican Christians want to somehow, like, get all these laws and get all this government in place to get rid of all the evil. It's not going to happen.
A
Happen?
B
Yeah, it's not going to happen, man. You're not going to get away from it. You're going to live pure in light of that evil world. And hopefully people will look at you and say, I want to know his God. But now I've written unto you not to keep company. If any man that is called a brother be a fornicator. Having sex outside of marriage. I don't think people are ready for that in the church. Are they ready to say, hey, bro, I'm not going to chill with you anymore because you're having sex outside of marriage. That's. That's what the scripture teaches. And, and hopefully the thought is that they would repent of that and stop doing it and then it would be okay to fellowship again. If any man is called a brother, be a fornicator. Covetous. Are you kidding me? That's almost like you have to be covetous to be in the American church today, dude. The system itself is covetous. You know what I mean? The system itself is constantly wanting money and constantly coveting, like, I don't know. We got to look at these passages, man. Or an idolater, one that puts stuff before God. Or a railer. Yeah. What's a railer, bro? I've got it right here. Someone who says mean and nasty things on the tweeter. Also known as the nastiest man on the Internet.
A
No, I just think. I think so. Well, we had went through that. That idea of, I think Paul condemned people who are, like, going after somebody to, like, tear them down.
B
Parker Morris said something kind of hilarious.
A
What do you say?
B
I probably shouldn't even do this, but. What I know Jess's uncle used to go, happy. If you got laid as many times as I have you, you'd go gay, too.
A
He's right. He's right.
B
Really?
A
There he. I mean, again, I don't. Whatever. I'll just say people that watch pornography, they watch it and it's like, I don't know who's. Who's doing it. A guy and a girl. So you're watching a guy's. That's kind of gay, you know what I mean? That there is. There is something to that and there is something to, like, you see, like the NBA players, Dwight Howard, any girl you want, whenever, after every game, whatever. And then he ends up getting Busted with the.
B
You know, a man.
A
Yeah, yeah. No, a transsexual.
B
Yeah. Dwight Howard was with a dude. Yeah, I don't. I don't care. I don't want to know.
A
I know, but it's just. It speaks to, like. All right, you've done everything, so what's left?
B
All right, you're. You're avoiding pulling up this passage about.
A
He says he agrees. No, no, it's not. It's not a passage. We have to look up the definition of a railer.
B
Loid or loid or rose in the Greek. Yeah.
A
So here we go. Sorry. Sorry for the day.
B
Abusive.
A
Right, right, right, right.
B
That's you.
A
Black guard someone abusively or disparagingly, often in a mocking or scornful manner.
B
That's you.
A
Sometimes.
B
Especially to me.
A
That's not true. Now you're being a baby.
B
You're the meanest.
A
It says also, don't be. Don't. Don't hang out with babies. You're being a baby, Matt.
B
Fair point. Okay, next question.
A
This is a long one. Geez, guys, can we.
B
No, it's. Whatever. Why are you always in a rush, dude? Like, if this was an NDS show, you'd be like, no, we got all day, man. Five hour show, no problem. As soon as it's your redheaded stepchild show, you're like, hey, man, you guys,
A
this is an NDS show. I'd be like, why did you write so many characters for this question?
B
These are long questions, bro.
A
You're a hypocrite.
B
Not sure it's original or if I'm just late to. Okay, I think I. I saw this one yesterday.
A
This is what you were talking about?
B
Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's necessary for a research temple to. No, it's way too long.
A
All right, well, then, see, you got this. Because there's. There are audio listeners that can't.
B
Okay, Random thought I've been chewing on. Not sure if it's original or if I'm just late to it. The temple was never really about the building. It was about being the spot God designated to actually commune with his people. Amen. Make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them. I like that. The priesthood, the sacrifices, the furniture, all that was just maintaining the conditions for that meeting to happen without people getting smoked. I like that. And it was all pointing to Christ. It was all foreshadowing of Christ. The conditions for that meeting to happen without people getting smoked. Okay, then John tells us the word dwelt among us. Same root word used for the tabernacle. So Christ becomes that meeting place, then Paul moves it again. We're builded together for a habitation of God through the Spirit. The structure keeps changing, but the job never does. It's always wherever God and man actually meet. This is one of those questions where they answer the question in, in the question. Yeah, I'm tracking with you on all this, man. And then in the. It's probably in the second Corinthians letter where it talks about us singular being the temple of Christ and us plural as the church being the body of Christ as well, being that being the temple. So the church is the temple and you individually are the temple as well. So here's where I landed. Dispensationalists need a literal rebuilt third temple so the Antichrist has something to desecrate. I don't know what that means when they say dispensary. I think there's different time periods throughout the scripture.
A
So what that means when he says,
B
like if dispensation is a period of time.
A
No, I mean when he says, if it causes you to sing, cut it off. And then you have here in the Corinthian letters where he's saying like, don't, don't, don't like be next to these people. Like if they're a believer.
B
I don't know. Did you jump ahead or something?
A
No, I'm jumping back because it just reminded me like if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off.
B
Yeah.
A
Jesus says, and then Paul says here, if these same concept inside the church.
B
Same concept, yeah, yeah.
A
So then are they part of the body?
B
Let's go, dude.
A
Are they part of the body?
B
I love it when you stop being a reviler and start being like a revelatory guy. Dude. Another R word you start to have some great revelation on.
A
You just accused me.
B
No, I love it when you and the raven get in the zone, dude, because you guys are in the zone on all the Internet and all the stuff in the news and all the things with the grays and the, you
A
know what it is.
B
And then you transfer over the street Bible.
A
Let's go.
B
And then you transfer over to Bible stuff. And the way your guys minds work is like. Yeah, yeah, it's a great tie in.
A
All right, so keep, keep going with the question. Sorry.
B
But also with that, you don't have a right to tell someone they're not part of the body. In, in that context you do. When you see that open sin like that, you have a right to tell them you're not part of the body living like that. But because they hold a different doctrine or a different theology or a different denomination than you, you can't, you can't do that. You can't say, oh, no, if you're not part of my denomination, you're out. Okay. Dispensationalist. Needle. I feel like that's like a mean word when they say dispensationalist, but I don't fully comprehend what they're saying. I think there's different time periods in the scripture. But, but, but I also don't need a literal rebuilt Third Temple, so I don't know if I fit in that category or not. I know Chuck Missler always talked about their physically being the Third Temple. I don't necessarily think that's.
A
He's using dispensationalists as a, like a Zionist, the Zionist way where the modern church would need to fulfill exact prophecy.
B
I don't like, I don't like all the words.
A
That's the way in which he's using it. If we're talking in terms of the Third Temple, those are the people that he's talking about. About.
B
I don't know. I know, but I, But I think there's like different time periods. I think different stuff was happening in the Garden of Eden. Different stuff was happening with Israel when they were in Egypt. Different stuff was happening with Israel when they were in the wilderness.
A
He's just talking about people.
B
Different things applied when they got in the land and were under the law. Different things happen.
A
That's the correct usage of the word. The bastardization of the word. Is this where they have taken. I don't even know if they've been. They've been attributed the word dispensationalist. It's the ones that, that are like, well, we need to send Israel money. Think about what happened. Okay.
B
Okay, hang on. So that's just a trigger word. That's just a trigger word to divide the church. Like, it's not. I mean, there should be a fair conversation.
A
They divided themselves. So, okay, right now what has happened in. On the political spectrum is America is discussing a peace deal with Iran and Israel has immediately said we don't need to honor that peace deal. That's between you and Iran while we are attacking Iran in conjunction with Israel.
B
I don't mind that statement. Like, like whatever goes on with Israel and Iran, let Israel and IR cool.
A
But then you cannot also be at war with somebody.
B
That's what I'm saying.
A
So.
B
All right, you shouldn't have anything to do with it.
A
The dispensationalists are people who would say no, no, if Israel says this, we need to continue doing this because they are hell bent on what.
B
What does dispensation have to do with that?
A
That's just the name that they've been given, but really just a trigger word. But it's, it's interchangeable with Zionist. That's how he's using it here.
B
I don't like that, that shouldn't be the word for it. It.
A
That's what they're using.
B
I think there's different time periods, but I don't agree with any of the stuff that just got said. No, it's like so I don't know,
A
I don't like, I'm not saying any, I'm not saying this or that. I'm just saying that.
B
I know, I don't like the way this, these words get. I don't know.
A
They stole libertarian from you. They stole the rainbow. Anyway, I'm more worried about that.
B
Let's just stick to his point though. Let's just. Okay, so here's where I landed. Certain people need a literal rebuilt third Temple. So the Antichrist has something to desecrate. Red heifer and all that. But if the temple's real job was never the building and was always about being designated a place for communion with God, then the actual fulfillment of temple desecration isn't some structure in Jerusalem getting defiled. It's the mark of the beast. Fair. Fair insight. That's a very fair insight. I believe something along these lines that like, something like I, this is why I kind of look at the 501C3 as a, as a somewhat Antichrist system. Like another Christ, right? Like, like as soon as they hear you're not part of that 501C3 system, they go, you're not with God. So that thing is taking its place as God in the temple, in the body of Christ. They're, they're, they're, they're taking God out and putting this system in place and saying if you're not a part of this system, which Catholic and Orthodox openly say that, right? Like they openly say if you're not part of it.
A
I just heard it from a Pentecostal Christian as well.
B
But I was going to say these so called, like Protestants don't like openly say it. It. They don't. It's not like in their doctrine, if you will. But the more you talk through it with people, the more you find out they find out you're not part of the system. They're like, oh, he's not a Christian.
A
On the other side of it, though, something I think that you. You see, and I think you'll agree, somebody like David, I'm like, hey, when you start. Stop going.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, you start to fly off the hinges like this. This kind of grounds you a little bit. I think you should. You should go back. Even though you don't agree with all this stuff, like, yo, you got to be. You're new. You're new here too. And if you want to take it serious, like, this thing helps ground, well,
B
if you're not gonna have the discipline to do it at home. Yeah. Go to the 501C3. Yeah. 501C3.
A
It's tricky. It's tricky. And I think it's meant to be tricky.
B
Sure. Agreed.
A
And.
B
And I. And it's fair for people who are part of the 501C3 to say, I don't see a lot of people who don't go that are committed Christians. That. That's a valid insight as well. That's a valid observation. There isn't a lot.
A
Are you a committed Christian?
B
Who.
A
Whoever's making the criticism. Probably not either.
B
Exactly. And so it's a fallback thing. It's like, yeah, but I'm part of the system, so I'm good. So I don't know. There's a way where this thing can kind of set itself up as God in the temple. Yeah. I've always thought something along those lines. It's. It's an interesting. Is the. The mark of the beast, the high, the hijacking, the actual mechanism God built for communion with himself, rerouting it toward allegiance, the beast instead. Curious. You guys running the take before? Yeah. I've heard things along these lines before, and I do think something like that. That. But I, But I don't like. I'm not somebody that knows all the answers to all the things either. And I don't like that when people, like, know all the answers to all the things, especially in regards to, like, the Rapture, the second Coming, the way all of this story ends. I can't imagine there's a human on planet Earth that has it all pegged, has it all exact. They go, yep. It goes A, B, C, D, E, F, G all the way to the end. I know exactly how it happens. Like, I don't think that I'm. I think that. Think the main points are be ready. Jesus is saying, always be ready.
A
Yeah.
B
I think that's a, that's a key point, I think.
A
I think. What, like maybe an Ed Mabry point here and it might be a cop out, but like the y' all tribbon sign is like, oh, pre post mid. Yeah, all three. Who knows? Maybe all three.
B
Well, it doesn't matter. The emphasis is on being ready.
A
Yeah. But I also wouldn't be surprised if like, yeah, if this is. This, this message is internal. But I also wouldn't be surprised if they do erect something physical that you can.
B
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not saying, I'm not saying they're not going to build a third temple. Yeah, I'd imagine they will. But I, but I'm just saying I don't know that that's relevant. It's just like, okay, cool, they're building a third temple. Sure. They're trying to, you know, inflame something on planet Earth between the nations. Sure. But is that relevant to what the scripture has spoken about? I. I don't, I don't know that it is.
A
I'll be honest.
B
I mean, it's going to be a big deal when it happens with how
A
blatant everything always is and how in your face they are with prophecy and scripture. I would not be surprised if they just to throw it in your face, like. But does it have to happen? No, I don't think so, but same. It probably will. Next question from. What's his name there? Beach Boy. What does that mean? You mean Beach Boy? Okay. All right. Why did Jesus give Simon and Saul new names? Do you think it might be because they were born again?
B
I don't think Simon was born again when he got a new name. I just think Jesus loves nicknames, names, dude. He. He called James and John the sons of thunder.
A
Yeah.
B
Bow Anders, the sons of thunder. So he was like calling their dad Thunder? Yeah. He called Peter Rock. He called Simon Peter. He called him Rock and gave him another name, which again, we talk about the rocks having this process that turns them into what they are, which I think that's what Jesus is always pointing to as Peter, man. If you study out his life, dude, and he calls him the Rock. It's like Peter's story is the story of process, dude. Like, like he, like he asked more questions than anybody in the Bible. Like, kind of points to his intellect. It kind of points to like where he's at with everything like this. There was this incredible process that takes place in this dude's life and it goes on. I've heard like Pentecostals say. Yeah. Once he got baptized in the Holy Spirit, he stopped sinning or he stopped falling off. It's like, no, in the Galatian letter, Paul still had to rebuke him for something. And. And then. And then Peter is still so humble of a man that in his letter, he speaks very highly of Paul, calls him Brother Paul, and says that Paul's writings are scripture. So. So Peter classifies Paul's writings as scripture. Because didn't you guys have something where, like, Jesus versus Paul or Paul versus Jesus or something? Like, the Internet has, like, the dumbest stuff, dude. But, like, so, like, Peter was obviously Jesus, like, one of his closest homies, and Peter says Paul's writings are scripture and he calls him Brother Paul and stuff. But. But, like, yeah, rock. Like, this process, like all those rocks that people were talking about earlier. There's a process that has to make those. There's an incredible process that took. That takes place on Peter.
A
Well, also, God has, like, mad names, you know? Yeah, he likes nicknames, dude. Yeah, he just.
B
He.
A
If he's given himself a bunch of names, and I guess if he likes you, maybe give you a name.
B
Yeah, yeah. And they. They say even when he was calling them Little Faith, that That's, like, one word in the Greek that even. That was like, a nickname. He's like, how long do I have to deal with you? Oh, ye of Little Faith? Like, did he, like. And he called Peter that when he's like, Dr. When he's, like, walking on water and then he takes his eyes out and he starts to sink and he's. And he calls him Little Faith. Like, it's like. It's one word. Like, like, almost like, maybe even that was even, like, a nickname.
A
It's hilarious. I used to work with kids, and one of my favorite students, I would. I would. He would get mad about it, but I'd be like, yo, what's up? Red pants, yellow shirt, or whatever he's wearing, just like. It's like a nickname, and it would get him mad. But after a while, he started to like. Because I'm like, I like this guy, so I'm just gonna harass him in this way. I don't know the terms of Endearments. I. I suppose. Next question. Anchovy apostle who gave us, I think, a hundred dollars for. He wanted to make up with me or something. I wasn't mad at you.
B
No, he just wanted a reason to send 100 bucks in.
A
Thank you, dude. That's. That's really nice, man.
B
People are just, like, hanging out. They're like, let me just, just send some money in.
A
Appreciate that. So do you think Melchizedek. I think I said that.
B
Right, right.
A
Melchizedek was actually Jesus. He was a priest of God most high. How widespread do you think God worship was outside the patriarch question during Genesis?
B
Love this. I don't know. But like Moses, father in law was Jethro, the priest of Midian. I mean, that's intriguing, dude. Yeah. Melchizedek shows up. We. We. What we should do is just Google or straight Bible. The word Melchizedek and only pops up like when the story happens in Genesis. I think it's probably like chapter nine or somewhere in there, or maybe low teens. I don't know. It's somewhere in there. And then it pops up in Psalms briefly, and then it pops up in Hebrews. But I think in Hebrews it says that Jesus is like Melchizedek. So some would say he's not Melchizedek because it says that he's like Melchizedek. Doesn't say he is Melchizedek. But I don't know. I. I really don't know.
A
Sean from Kingdom in Context has a lot of great work on this, on Melchizedek.
B
Yeah.
A
But here's the Genesis.
B
What's his take? That. That he is Jesus?
A
I don't know. I don't know exactly. He has like. I think it goes on it.
B
Yeah. Well, it's the priesthood. That's before the Aaronic priesthood, before the Levitical priesthood.
A
Definitely a shade.
B
And then in Hebrews, it points to the fact that Jesus is under that order of the Melchizedek.
A
Here we go. For this Melchizedek. They spelled. They spell a different King of Salem, priest of the Most High God who
B
met Abraham returning like Jerusalem at that time. I think that's what it's alluding to. It says Salem, Peace, Peace. King of peace. But it's also the place. Jerusalem, priest of the Most High God. So it's not a priest of some other order. It's the priest. He's the priest of the Most High God.
A
So.
B
Dude. Yeah. So to the question, he's saying how widespread do you think it was? Somewhat widespread. If there was enough that they needed a priest. Right. Wait, did you already.
A
I took it down.
B
That were boys. No, we're still in the middle of it. We were boys, priests of Most High God who met Abraham, returned from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being by interpretation, king of righteousness. And after that, also king of, of peace. King of peace, yeah. Which is cool. Which is if. If Abraham does that and he says he's got some context for, for wanting to give a tithe before the law. This is all. That's all pre law. So even so, it's not like it's just a law thing to pay the tithe. So pre law, Abraham decides to give a 10th part to Melchizedek, which is rad. I don't. I don't know what he was doing with it. I think it's cool that he gave him the money. I don't know what Melchizedek was doing with the money. Do we know? I don't think he's got like a fog machine or light shows or bought musical equipment, but who knows? Maybe he did. Maybe he did buy harps and the sack butt and adultery and all the other things. I don't know.
A
This is from Psalm 110.
B
Wait, did we just get out of Hebrews 7? Like, yeah, you want to keep reading that? Well, yeah,
A
here we go. Let's go. We gotta go back to here to find it. Sorry.
B
Hebrews 71. Okay, let's keep going without. Okay, yeah, let's make this point. Without father, without mother. This is intriguing. Man without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of God abides a priest continually. That's where this question comes in. Is it talking about Jesus? Was. Was Jesus that priest? Let's keep reading. So, so, okay, but it says he's without mother. So he's without father, without mother, without descent. So to me, the only other thing that could be.
A
Well, I mean, Samuel has a mother, but like he's given, she gives him to, to the priests. So he's like almost without mother, without father. He's raised by the raven.
B
No, that's an interesting take. I don't. I don't know.
A
I'm not saying he's Jesus, but like the same idea for.
B
Right, right. That it could just be a boy who was given to the priesthood, that there was a priesthood that existed in that day, and so therefore he gotten rid of his natural lineage and was just part of the priestly order.
A
Maybe Jesus, maybe wouldn't, you know that I'm in my father?
B
Or maybe this is some entity other than a human. I don't know. That's probably offensive. And there might be somebody who can be like, no, no, no, it definitely can't be that. According to this passage, maybe they're right. But maybe this is some type of seraphim or cherubim or something without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made, made like unto the Son of God. So to me, it's either the Son of God. Because we're in Hebrews now, where we'd have some context for the Son of God. We'd have some context for. For Jesus being the Son of God. But if he's not the Son of God, he's just like under the Son of God, without mother, without descent. Well, Son of God is a direct creation of God. I don't know. Is this some kind of angel? Is Melchizedek some kind of angel? I don't know. I'm not saying he is. I'm not saying he is. I'm just saying, like, these are some thoughts that run through my head when I think about Melchizedek. I don't know. Now consider how great this man was. So now it says he's a man. Other places in Scripture, angels are called man, though unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. And verily, they that are of the sons of Levi who received the office of the priesthood have a commandment to take ties of the people according to the law. Law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham, but he's whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham and blessed him that had the promises. So he's saying it's not just a law thing. Not just a law thing. The tithe was given to one who wasn't from. From the sons of Levi. And without all contradiction, the less is blessed of the better. And here. So he's just saying Abraham was lower than Melchizedek, that's why he gave the tithe. And here men that die receive tides, but there he received them of who has witnessed that he lives. That kind of sounds like Jesus, right? It says, like here men that die receive tides. But in that story with Melchizedek, he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives like he. He doesn't die, as I may so say Levi also, who receives tides, paid tithes in Abraham. So even though Levi, the tribe of Levi, received ties, tides, Levi came from the loins of Abraham. And so in his lineage they were paying tithes as well, not just receiving tides. For he was yet in the loins of his Father when Melchizedek met him. All right, let's look at Psalm 110. Or you want to talk about It. I don't know. The short answer is I don't know. Melchizedek's a really intriguing character.
A
Yeah. I don't even know if this is a. I don't know what this thing is. It's like, it could be Jesus.
B
I don't know.
A
Know there. Yeah. It seems like more like an order. The order.
B
But it's wild if he. If he has that name. But I guess he does have that name. King of peace. Okay, where are we at?
A
Psalm 110. 4. The Lord has sworn and will not repent. Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
B
See, so it's after the order of Melchizedek. This is a messianic prophecy. So. So it's saying. It's like. It's like the order of Melchizedek. So that points to us. Probably not Jesus. I don't know. I don't know. These are the things that I don't like to get in debates on and argue over. I just want to read the story and say, what should I learn from this man? The tithe is an intriguing concept, man. Even Abraham did it before the law. He's giving something.
A
This goes back to that first question that we had that they had asked us, like, how. How much are we. Are we supposed to try to figure out God? Because I think figuring. Trying to figure out God leads to these doctrinal debates. A lot of times when people go, no, this is what God is.
B
I don't know. I don't think people who genuinely just want to know God end up as the debating doctrinal type of people. Dude. I think that's a thing. That's a different thing. The thing where people love to, like, win debates. That's a. Like, it. Don't they call it, like, debate culture? Yeah. Or they love to say, this guy thinks this. I think this. I'm right, and they're wrong. I don't know that. That really comes from people who really know God and love God and. And their goal is just to know God. Because I think it's very humbling when you try to get to know God and you very much walk away figuring out, like, I don't know anything. Like, in the beginning, you think you know so much, and then when you try to keep knowing God and getting closer to him and you think you understand his ways, you find out, like, no, he's got way more tricks up his sleeve than I realized. And. And I. I remember thinking, like, the 501C3 system, that if you didn't act like that, like your friend was saying, and mad at you because you weren't part of that system. I remember thinking like that. I remember being like that, you know? You know what I'm saying. But then as you get closer and closer to God, you go, wow, this is way outside what I would have thought God was like, this is the. His ways of doing things are different than I originally assumed, man. And I'm getting closer and closer to God and I'm finding out, like, there's just more and more mysteries, man. And, and that I don't. That doesn't take me to a place of debate. That doesn't take me to a place of trying to say I'm right, you're wrong. I just don't have any desire for that. I'm like, maybe you are right. I don't. I don't think you are. But I'm totally willing to hear what you're saying because I've had to change my views on things as time goes on, man. Like. Like, I don't know. I don't want to say, like, yeah, I'm 45, I'm gonna live to 120, and everything I ever know, I already know right now. That sounds boring. That sounds awful. But like, most people lock in, dude, Most people lock in on their doctrine and that's it. Dude, their heels are dug in their pre trip, post trip, mid trip dispensation. Like, whatever. I don't know, whatever all the things are, whichever denomination they're that and that's it. They're locked in. That sounds like torture to me. Like, I want to open the Bible every day and go, God, show me whatever you want to show me. Yeah, I hope you show me a thing I didn't know yesterday. Like, what are we talking about? I don't know.
A
I think that. No, I think you're right. That's like, what. When they say, raise up a child in the way that he should go, I think they're talking about. Not about all these other things and debates that are around this idea, but there is one truth that, that kind of just I put in the middle. And it's like, okay, no matter what, that's where, that's. That's where I'm at. And that's. This is as far as I'm gonna stray from it. But everything else is, to me is interesting. Something. We kind of go back and forth on it. Yeah, it's fine. Next question.
B
What percent of the questions do we have done? Are we like, halfway through. Are we like 90 through or 21
A
questions and we're at 14 or this is. We're up to 50.
B
Two thirds. Two thirds.
A
Two thirds.
B
You know that from football scores. That's the easy one.
A
That's right. Okay, here we go.
B
Trust me, this is fun. And I try not to put a lot of energy going down rabbit holes, but I'm reading through Luke right now.
A
I don't like the way this sentence and started.
B
I had to read it like that. Luke 24:39, where Jesus says, a spirit does not have flesh and bones. Oh, I like this. I like that. I don't know what the rest of the question is, but I like where this is going. What I'm having trouble wrapping my head around is how that fits with Genesis 18:19. Is that chapter 18, verse 19, or chapters 18 and 19, where angels seem to appear as men eat food and interact? I really like this question, and I like that word physically with Abraham and Lot. I've never really had a chance to ask someone about it, so I was curious what your perspective is. Thank you. All right. This is intriguing because I think this was the discussion with Albarino where he's saying there's no spirit realm. And what I'm saying is there's a spirit realm. He said, well, define it. I said, well, it's where God lives. And he. And then he said, yeah, God is a spirit. I said, well, that's just. I'm like a little kid. Like, God's a spirit. Where he lives is a spirit realm realm. But there's physicality in the spirit realm. So I guess, you know, people struggle with that. There's a spirit realm where spirits live, but they do have physicality. There's a physical realm, but there's spirituality in the physical realm. I'm in the physical realm, but I have a spirit inside me. My spirit is inside me. So there's a. There's a. There's spirits. There's a spiritual nature in the physical realm. And I think there's a physical nature in the spirit realm as well. And I don't think an angel is a spirit. I think. I mean. I mean, it is a spirit, but not in the sense that. Where Jesus was saying a spirit that can, like, walk through walls, where he's saying, like, touch me. Right in that context. If we can pull up his passage. Hold on, let's go back. And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and said on them, peace be unto you.
A
You.
B
But they were terrified and frightened, and Supposed they had seen a spirit. Why? Because it had to have come through a wall. This isn't a spirit, though. This is after the resurrection.
A
He's got a glorified.
B
He's got a glorified body. Amen. So the. So the glorified body, why are you troubled and why your thoughts rise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that is, I myself. Handle me and see. For spirit has not flesh and bones as you see me have like a. Like a ghost, if you will. They were thinking of it in that sense of like a spirit that could just. Just that just like came through walls because it doesn't have any physicality. That glorified body has physicality, but can defy the physical realm and come through walls and stuff, or teleport. Like. However he did it, he showed up in the room and had a physical nature. But I think there's physicality in the spirit realm.
A
You're dealing with like three different things. So when. When he's. He's asking the question about spirits, he's talking about like, you know, unclean spirits, spirits, demon, that kind of. That kind of weird entity that floats around.
B
But those are spirits without bodies, like demons are spirits without bodies. Whereas angels have a body.
A
We have a spirit and we have. It's in our body. Is it possible that the.
B
Those. Those are disembodied spirits. They. It it to me that it makes sense that those are the spirits of Nephilim, that that's what demons are like things that died in the flood or at any time that were. That were half breeds. An angel can't die, so there's nowhere for it to go. A human dies and then goes to the place of the dead. For humans, wherever that is with. With God, not with God, whatever. We have that story in Luke where there's the rich man and Lazarus and one of them goes to this side of the gulf and one of them goes to this side of the gulf. There's a place of the. Where the dead go if you're a human. But if you're both, if you're a combination of two, that to me, that would account for disembodied spirits. That we see Jesus casting out that like that. That makes sense to me, is that that spirit has nowhere to go. So that's why it tries to get in a body to do sexual perversion. It tries to get in a body to do drugs. It tries to get in a body to cause chaos and madness and pain and suffering to the human race. Because that's what those entities want to do. And they can, they can only do it to a certain extent without a body. That's why they got to get in a body body.
A
But this glorified body seems like rad.
B
We're gonna get one too.
A
It just seems like all the three components that we have. But into one is if that makes any. Because right now we're sure things, but we're pulling against ourselves in a way. And it seems like Jesus could. He's like, yeah, I'm physical too, but this is also spirit. I just walk through a wall and.
B
Or teleported. Like however he got there, that's up to him. He can do whatever he wants.
A
Yeah. I wonder if that's why, you know, he says that you'll judge the angel. So meaning, like you'll kind of be above the these, above the angels with this specific type of body. It seems more powerful than whatever the angel is. Maybe the angels made up of only two parts of these things. Do they have the breath of God in them?
B
Good question.
A
Or do they have a spirit? They're missing one of these things. It seems like they could have a physical body at some points.
B
Like he's saying, yeah, when, when Adam's made, God's breathed into him his spirit. Right. And then Even in John 1 it says that like Jesus Christ is the light that lights every man that comes into the world. So like, like Jesus Christ lights every man that comes in the world. Exactly how angels are made. I don't know that we have a description of that in the scripture. I don't think that we have a. That's what I'm saying. People ask, oh, you think the gap theory. I'm like, well, I don't see the creation of angels in, in the, in the so called creation story. So I like, obviously that happened before. Like if we don't have the story of their creation, but we don't. So I'm not exactly sure how they're made other than their sons of God. They're direct creations of God.
A
God right?
B
Now, did he mold them and did he. Did he speak him into existence? He could do it however he wants. But I don't know. But I, but yeah, I draw a distinction between an angel that has a body and an. In a spirit that doesn't have a body. In a, in a resurrected body. So to your point, I think you said, yeah, this is three different things.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Good question though. Really?
B
Yeah.
A
That's one that you could kind of dig deep on and who knows how long you go for that, right? Let's pull up the next question. Boom. So thank you, farm and faith.
B
Why is Nancy not saying anything? What's she doing?
A
Do you want to talk to us, Nancy? You just want to be nasty.
B
Hello.
A
Hi, Nancy.
B
Ask a question, Nancy.
A
Can you read this question? No.
B
Ask a question, Nancy. Come on. Whatever happened to Toads? He has a gay show. Okay. No, he doesn't. No. Nancy, I want you to ask a question. But I got a question first. Did you watch Meet the Robinsons? No, not yet. Never asked me for a dream interpretation ever again. Next question. But I had one another dream. I'll ask you later. No, no. Ask right now. Nance, let's go. It's inappropriate.
A
It.
B
Okay. I don't like it. Not like that.
A
But it was a sex dream. Oh, gosh.
B
Robinson's. Nancy. Like, that's what that dream was pointing to.
A
She just goes, no. All right, here's a question from. From. What's his name here? I can't even. Not hard r. I don't know.
B
I don't know about his show.
A
Wow.
B
I don't know.
A
Whatever happened to Toad's show Gay Bible? It was. It was supposed to be a show that Toad did with you instead of. You don't remember. You didn't see the episode where he was on. And he goes. He goes, straight Bible. I don't know about straight Bible. And he said, gay Bible is hilarious,
B
but we want to do it. I think that was right before you kicked me off the show. So that's why we never did it. We should do it, though.
A
Oh, surprise your people. So we'll be back on. On, like, next Wednesday or something like that. He's coming back on the show next Friday. Gonna be a banger. Gonna be a lot of fun. I would like to get him to do, like, a show with Matt, a Bible study. That would be an interesting dynamic. Next question. Also, if you haven't caught Toad's appearance on Mount Rushmore. No, he's on a sports betting show, and he crushed. Those guys loved him. They're a little bit bigger than his show, but go check him out. Here we go. Also, don't sports bet. So it's kind of contradictory there.
B
Questions, man. First, if my husband is the spiritual head of my household and he's spiritually lost, is my home never going to be a peaceful dwelling place? No, your home is absolutely going to be a peaceful dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. Or am I just being. Yes, you're being. Well, I don't want to call You a hag. But you're being.
A
Oh, this is hgtv, Holly. You say whatever you want to her.
B
No, you're not a hag. But that's a little bit negative thinking. Like, your life exists in you and God. You create the atmosphere. He's the spiritual head of your house. That's great. He doesn't know the Lord, so you clearly have something he doesn't. You have we. Because we brought that. She asked the question before. She's struggling. Problem with the husband. Hang in there, Holly. Like, you just keep going hard after the Lord and he's going to deal with it. Amen. I'm a firm believer in that. I know everybody's like, well, aren't you going to give me a seven step process? No, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to. I don't. Like, the books are like seven steps to better finances or 10 steps to have a more successful church. Don't care. Don't care. Just go after God. Like, the thing is, is like, oh, I have this thing that's, like, unsolvable. I'm dealing with a spouse that, like, there's nothing I can do do. Like if they're walking off a cliff and I tell them, stop, stop. You're gonna go off the cliff. They're still not going to listen to me. Okay, so just go hard after God and let him deal with it. These are great times for God to reveal himself because it's a situation where you go, God, I can't do anything. And God needs you to get to that place where you can say, okay, cool, I'll take it from here. But as long as you got the reins, like, it's. This is. This is how it's going to be. So no, you're. You're gonna have a good, peaceful dwelling place. You're gonna have a good home. You're gonna love your husband, he's gonna love you, but your job is to go hard after God. Any chance I can have a redemption submission on Chronicles?
A
Hold on. I wanted to pull this. This scripture up here.
B
I'm officially off thc.
A
What does that mean?
B
She's.
A
Oh. Oh, Marijuana.
B
Quit puffing the ganj, man.
A
I thought she meant David's old show. I was like, yeah, what? That's ended for a long time. This one here, Kali second. Whatever he said to me.
B
Corinthians.
A
He said to me, my grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
B
Amen.
A
Yeah, that one right there. It's like, okay, so You're. You're weak right now. Right, but that's. That's good. That's good. That means you're where you're supposed to be. Now. You have to figure out the direction and then let. Let God do the rest. Next question. Oh, her second question. What was she asking?
B
She wants to do another submission. Remember last time she spelled out the whole thing for her house? Like. Oh, yeah, yeah.
A
If she kept it shortened to the point.
B
Well, she says she's off the reefer, so this time she thinks she can do it. I'm officially off THC for good this time, thanks to my heart almost completely failing. Nobody likes that. So I promise it'll be a sober submission.
A
Okay?
B
Yeah.
A
Hey, listen.
B
Try it again. Let's go for round two.
A
I liked. I liked your. Your first episode, too. I mean, not many people have an episode named after them, and also not many people have named themselves after the episode that was named after them, so. I like the first episode, too, but. Yeah, go ahead, Write a second one. We'll read it.
B
Yeah. Let's go.
A
Holly, check out this question, nice and short.
B
Is the West a repeat of Babylon or a second chance? I don't know exactly what's that saying? But mystery Babylon, as it unfolds in the book of Revelation does seem like whatever the ruling power, government, authority on planet Earth. Earth is, and there's a lot wrapped up in it. Me and Thomas from Paranoid American are going to do a deep dive. That dude's an incredible researcher, and I gave him the Dave Hunt book. The woman rides the beast, and he's going hard in that book, dude. And he's even going back to, like, the sources that Dave Hunt was referencing. He's hitting me up about stuff. I'm like, bro, no, I didn't know that. He's going hard on the research, and I think it's helping him to realize. I think he always thought. Remember he said he read the Bible four times and never connected? I. I wonder if he kind of thought it had to be wrapped up in Catholicism. And now that he's reading this and saying, like, oh, no, that's something different. Like, that's this other thing. He's able to kind of see it now a little.
A
A little different. I think Thomas needs a. He needs a good sparring partner. So he's gonna come. I mean, he's gonna come here and he's gonna spar you. So be on your A game.
B
I'm not gonna spar with him. He's my buddy.
A
No, he's Not. It's not going to be a fight, but he's going to know if he
B
wants to win the debate, I'll let him win it.
A
He's not like that. He's not like that, but he's going to bring information where he's like, okay, I know the. This. What you.
B
Well, we did that before. We did the show that.
A
And it was crazy. I was sitting right there watching.
B
We should have filmed it. We should have filmed it.
A
Yeah, I know.
B
Well, but I think this time he's really, like, seeing it for what it is.
A
But that's what people need. Like, like, we. You just mentioning Peter, who's like, constantly questioning.
B
Yeah. Process.
A
I did that to my. My Bible study teacher, Sister Bonnie, when
B
I first got converted. I was hammering people with questions. Dude. Yeah.
A
You know how many people told me, like, just shut up. But like, she actually. She went back. I don't know that, but I'm gonna research that. And she came back and she's like, well, here's what I think is going on.
B
Yeah, that's adequate.
A
Quit. And I was 12 or something.
B
So it. Like, if America.
A
I don't.
B
I think it's bigger than America, though. I think America is fulfilling. Just like Israel's doing bad things on the Earth today. I. I think it's bigger than just Israel or bigger than just America. It's bigger than just the Federal Reserve or the World Bank. I don't know. This Babylonian system, that's. That's. And you could say that, like the story of the Bible, if it's the story of two cities, it's a story of Jerusalem versus Babylon, which, when Peter writes to the church at Rome, he calls it the church at Babylon. Like, right? So, like, Babylon is this system that isn't necessarily a geographic location, but at that time, Rome was the head of it, and I think the Vatican is still wrapped up in it today.
A
The.
B
The world. What are all these things? The United nations, the World Health Organization, the World Bank. Like, you know, like, all the nations of the Earth have debt. It's like, well, who do they. Who do they. Who do they owe it to?
A
Right?
B
Or just. Or just like. Like, they're like, all the nations are in debt, but who. Who's the one with all the money then? Like, well, like. Or when they say like an 08 there, you know, whatever. It was, like $3 trillion of wealth vanished. It's like, okay, did it get on a rocket and, like, go to Mars? Like, where. Like, where did the wealth. You know what I'm Saying, like, there's. There's some entity, there's some rolling world system that's running everything. And that, to me, that system is Babylon. And all the nations will ultimately be wrapped up in it. The Vatican will be wrapped up in it. Like, all. Like, all these things will be wrapped up in that system. False religions will be wrapped up in it. So I don't know that. Like, I would just say America is Babylon today. I don't know if I'd say that, but I'd say it's part of it.
A
I would say. I would say that. I don't think it's a second chance. Oh, I. I personally don't. I could be wrong. I just feel like everything that's headed this way, the way everything built and the precipice that we're at, it seems a lot like end times. And I. I don't know. I can't imagine another iteration of this where America turns around, repents, and then there is another America like, Babylon thing in another couple hundred years that is built up to this. But, you know, I'm only here for a couple of years anyway, so what the hell do I know? It just seems like this is like kind of what. What we've built here with the world here. I'm like, this looks like it's it, dog. This is big. Big. We're on this.
B
I know, but every generation thinks that, dude.
A
Yeah, but every generation didn't have, like, people marrying computers. This is what. We're wild. We're. We're in another.
B
I know, but those other generations were like. You never had a. Nobody had a TV before. I watched a thing on the TV that was being broadcast from China on the other side of the plant. Like, each generation has a reason why they're like, this has never happened before.
A
Knowledge will increase. And knowledge is.
B
So who knows how far this thing could go. Go.
A
I know, but that. What I'm saying is that, like, for us to repent and have a second chance at America, this is going to happen anyway. What? Like the prophecy will happen? Maybe another iteration of it. It's just. For me, it's hard to imagine.
B
Okay. A lot of people in the chat are struggling with the whole thing of having a spouse that's not saved, man. So I'm saying just your husband. No, no. Go hard after God, man.
A
Yeah. They want to know where they can buy T shirts. You go to toplopsa.com you can buy them. Or you can come to the standard.
B
Come to the standard and buy them.
A
Yeah. If you got a plane ticket to Florida. Come out here. Lady Lake. Are they at the other location, too, or just here?
B
But they just. They just delivered.
A
Okay, but do you sell them at the other location?
B
I will, yeah. I just got to take them over there. Oh, yeah.
A
If you're in brown, we'll go over there, too. Next question. Real short. Israel. Romans 11:22. 20. 11, 25. Let's check that out.
B
Oh, great.
A
This. These are some of Matt's favorite questions. He loves talking about Israel. Israel? Are you talking about Jacob? Israel?
B
That was the funniest clip.
A
Laney was in the chat.
B
I missed the funniest thing.
A
Dude, he said something.
B
Is undefeated, bro. What is it? Romans 11.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, Cheney's in the chat. What's up, Chaney? Y' all need Sunday service as part of the Bro Grove weekend? Maybe. Oh, there's top.
B
Wants to start doing Sunday service anyway.
A
That's where you guys cover the Talmud. I don't remember the context, but I saw it. Where.
B
What are we in 11 1? So people are sending more money.
A
Yeah.
B
Let's read why they always send the money, dude. Why is it exciting if they send the money?
A
Because you like it. They like to see you squirm and squiggle like that. Hold on. Nancy, pull that down. We're gonna read the scripture.
B
We'll.
A
Then we'll read that after. Okay. Damn. It's cool having a producer, right? Asian producer. Nancy, thank you.
B
Wait, what was the super chat question? Are we doing that?
A
Well, let's read this first, because we're. We're still in the other question. Question. So Romans 25 to 28. I think he said 25 to 28. Yeah. Scripture 25. So here we go for 11. 25. For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be. Lest ye should be wise in your own conceits. That blindness in part is happened to Israel until. Until the fulfillment of the fullness of
B
the Gentiles become in.
A
Okay, you can keep reading that.
B
And so all Israel shall be saved. As it is written, there shall come out of Zion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is my covenant unto them. When I shall take away their sins as concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes. But as touching the election, they are beloved for the Father's sakes. What do you want to do with that?
A
Yeah, it is.
B
I think it says what it. I think it means what it says and says what it means, man.
A
They are enemies for Your sakes. But as touching the election, they are beloved for you. That's a crazy one. This is what you mentioned in. In. In dumber words, where you said, listen, listen. I don't know, but if one of those guys is God. Yeah, you didn't say it like. This is really eloquent. Look at this. As concerning the gospel. They are enemies for your sake. But, but, but how often can I
B
talk to this Israel thing? It's like, bro, every day. No, this is like a thing that people.
A
This is the job again.
B
Like read the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I know there's plenty of people that can take little passages and win every debate of about Israel. Right on. But all I'm. All I'm ever asking anybody is take a 5,000 year view of Israel as opposed to a five year view of Israel. That's all I'm asking. Or even a 50 year view, or even 100 year view. Just take the 5000 year view into account. Be very familiar with the whole story of Israel. Then observe what's on the Internet about Israel. Don't just do. Don't. Don't just do the Internet outside the context.
A
That's all I care about, Matt. I agree.
B
Lainey doesn't care about Israel. He's just trying to be funny.
A
Laney is funny. Trying to be fun. How dare you. That's disrespectful. Yo, what's up, man?
B
Bro, what's up? Left me hanging on the mulch, you know. You did. You never did the back corner.
A
Come in. Say hi to the people. We're live.
B
So. I didn't do it. Now it's all overgrown. You promise, Dude,
A
Church camp, Camera force. Hey, what's up? JG's here with.
B
My bad. Hold on.
A
Camera four. Boom. Yo, famous in the chat.
B
JJ, who's this? Is Christian on the outside right there. Yeah. No. Stop knocking, bro. Happy Juneteenth,
A
Nancy. Yo, what's up, Nancy? Nancy's being very nasty.
B
I miss you too.
A
What's up, C Dot over there?
B
What are we. What are we doing? All right, all right, all right, all right. You gotta go. You to go. We're in the middle.
A
No, it's okay. We got a super chat.
B
All right, dude, bro, what's up? How you been, man?
A
All right.
B
You guys all want get. Tell Cedrian to come in too. Just say hi real quick.
A
Open the door and have him come in.
B
I don't think he's on that side still, man, they could walk around. Come here.
A
These are fools. Yeah, we Got camera.
B
Go easy with the camera right there. Yo, the bear.
A
Damn, dude, you big. What's up?
B
It's a big fella. This guy. Guys, this guy's going college ball, bro.
A
Are you guys on the same team? What? Is this the shirt you guys all
B
just got done at church camp? He sings in the. In the church, dude.
A
Oh, nice, Nice. What's up, man? I'm Danny. I'm K. Nice to meet you.
B
Good to see you, bro.
A
This one right here.
B
First time I saw Kyvan, I walked out of my room, he was. He was sleeping on the floor with the. With the shower cap on, bro. Yeah, he had the shower cap on.
A
Yeah.
B
I was like, I don't know who this is, man. How long was church camp, bro?
A
Just five days.
B
Five days. Where at you're like, fishing and stuff or does C Dream wear a tutu at all? Okay, okay. You kept an eye on him. Respect that. It's just Q A, bro.
A
Oh, everything. Let's do the next question here, Matt. We got this question back on Matt. So he goes dating a non. Reg. Reggating a non Christian, but has all Corinthian 13 qualities.
B
That's love. Okay? That's a passage on love.
A
Reads the Bible with me and it resonates, engages with my Jesus rants, hopeful. She'd be a full believer. Is this an unequally yoked situation, by the way? Love, y'.
B
All.
A
Thank you. Thank you. Greg Regenton. 20 bucks.
B
Wow.
A
Because we're balling.
B
This is going to be super offensive.
A
You could buy with 20 bucks bucks one of these.
B
You can. Did you guys see the new straight Bible shirts?
A
Straight Bible, 20 bucks. Probably more. Matt's. Matt's gonna.
B
I don't know, dude. I. This is a complicated question because who. Who are the true believers today? The ones that go to the 501C3. That. That is somebody who confesses to be saved or somebody says, yeah, I've been born again. But if this person has, like, Those qualities. The one. The one Corinthians 13. Qualities of love. Love reads the Bible and it resonates, engages with my Jesus rants. Like, I don't know that I'm ready to say that's a non believer. Especially in light of the 501C3 system of people who claim to be believers but don't look anything like that. Like, I just don't know what you do with that, to be totally honest. Like, where do you find, like, the true believers today?
A
I'm gonna be real too. Like. Like, this is a. This is a Guy talking to a girl, right, says she, yeah, you're gonna
B
win her to the Lord. At the end of the day, you're gonna win her to the Lord, bro. And before people start trashing and saying what he's blatantly disrespecting that passage. It says, don't be unequally yoked. To a non believer, there's a word unequally in there. So don't. So don't be unequally yoked. It doesn't say, don't be yoked. I know, I know. People are going to be offended at that. And keep in mind, man, Bunyan's wife was saved and Bunyan wasn't. Bunyan's wife married her anyway, as if to say, like, I'm willing to go into hell to rescue this guy out.
A
So.
B
So take that into account too, man. There's there. There is elements of that, dude, where you go in and you save one back from the dead, and it's risky business. It's risky business.
A
Yeah. I wasn't. I wasn't saved. Well, I was. I was saved, but I wasn't really, like, serious about the church. My wife always has been. But I think David's a really good example of this. And hopefully he continues, his wife was an ex Jehovah's Witness, want nothing to do with the church. And then when he was going back to the church, he goes, hey, guess what?
B
What?
A
We're getting baptized now. And she goes, yes, sir. Because, like, this is. Again, this is a misogynistic point, but we got a bunch of boys in the room. But, like, yo, like, you're gonna. Yeah, I'm leading the household. This is how it's going here. You will follow. If you're a man there and. And you're gonna take this seriously, then,
B
like, yeah, but you don't follow, like, all braggadocious about it. Like Mr. Tough Guy in the room. No saying you're gonna do it. You gotta lead by example.
A
Exactly. You just do. And if the relationship is right, she's gonna follow you because she's gonna see the results of what's happening. Happening. Did that happen? That's what happened with Jess as well, too. Right. Like, you were, like, getting serious, and she was like, right in line with you, right?
B
Well, no, not initially. Initially, she was like, you're the biggest hypocrite I've ever met. He was like, oh, you're a Christian. Christian snort that many octagons and talk to their wife like that. Yeah, I don't think so. But Then it was a process, and then one day, she was like, okay, wait. Something happened here. Something changed. So whatever. I suppose we're all hypocrites in the beginning, man. We're just trying to find our way.
A
There you go. There you go. All right, next question, I guess. Let's see.
B
All right, you guys don't have to hang the whole time, dude, you can if you want.
A
Very rude, man.
B
No, I'm just saying, he just got back and was like, we've gotta go to the standard. That's my guy, bro. I know, I know. The back corner. It's probably completely overgrown now. Dude, I've been doing since Sunday. Promise, dog.
A
All right, we got a question from re hinged 40. I don't even know what this means. Means, how long is a piece of string?
B
Technically, it's three feet.
A
What is this, like a biblical question?
B
No, I just made that up. I don't know what kind of question that is, man.
A
Please check out my Bible app, stenosbible.com.
B
no ads, no tracking, no account. Wait, I have a search history. Wait, wait, wait. What are you doing? You're gonna go to it. It's a thing, dude. To get you spammed or to get you. You click it open and then you get a virus.
A
No, it's not.
B
You sure?
A
We'll find out. No, this is a. This is a Patreon member.
B
What's that?
A
Can I say something controversial?
B
Yeah, go ahead, man. Come on.
A
Do we like blb? Yeah, we were just pulling them up, too.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah, but they don't pay us, so. Yeah, I mean, well. Oh, you remember what happened with them, right? Yeah, we killed everybody there. But that's all right. They're fine. They rehired.
B
Hired. They didn't. They didn't. Bro, you're a senior this year now or you're. Yeah, okay, got it. You got any colleges you're talking to now or. No, that doesn't start till next year.
A
I'm going to visit them next year.
B
Who? Georgia State. Oh, nice, dude. Nice, bro. You still going military? No. You're not. What happened? All like. Oh, yeah, it's already done. I was. Top talked you out of it? Yeah, Top was really, like, not happy about that.
A
True.
B
Yeah. What do you mean? It's not true?
A
Also, look, wait up. This is his Bible here. He's got a couple of versions of the Bible. It's pretty cool. The Stenos Bible.
B
Sweet, man. Yeah.
A
Oh, Lexicon translations. There you go. Okay.
B
Right on, man.
A
Little.
B
All right. No, I thought it was A spam link, dude, that we were going down there with the virus. But I guess.
A
I don't know if it's an app, but it's. It's definitely a website.
B
The length is from your elbow to the tip of your finger. Is it. Is Port, man, Port the same guy who sent us the question?
A
No, that was this dude here.
B
Hold on.
A
Let's get this off the stage. Re hinged40. I know I know him. I've seen him in the chat before. All right, that was not really a question. We have one more question.
B
You're telling me we got all 21 done?
A
Almost.
B
I don't think so, bro.
A
Well, this is 21. You're being real nasty.
B
What was Mason saying when you guys came in, man?
A
She loves you.
B
You sure about that? Yeah. She didn't go to the dance with you.
A
Got him.
B
She denies that. We almost went. All right, I have no clue what this is, bro, but I don't have any. There's a bunch of stuff. I don't know what people are talking about.
A
What is he saying? Just learned about the theory comma Johannium.
B
I don't know.
A
Is this anti Trinity theory?
B
No, but do you know what that is?
A
Google it, comma Joe. This is going to be a whole thing. All right.
B
Is that really the last question?
A
That's it.
B
Because you're trying to go or because we're out of questions?
A
Because we're out of questions, Dog top. Why? All right, well,
B
You guys don't want to. Come on, dude.
A
So the Johannine, the Johanin comma is a phrase in verses five. What is this, the epistle? First epistle of John, chapter five, seven through eight, which is seen as an interpolation. Wait, John 1, John 5, 7, 8.
B
Not the gospel of John, but John 1.
A
Yeah. An interpolation in the Epistle of John. According to the modern textual criticism, John
B
1, 5, 7 through 8. For there are three that bear record in heaven. The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. And these three are one. I got no issue with that. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. And these three agree in one. I don't think that that's anti Trinity.
A
They're saying in the Greek, the comma reads thus. So I don't know. I'd have to look a lot more into this. They're saying that there's like a little mistranslation here. So instead of where. I don't understand where the comma would be, there's a couple.
B
I Don't know. But if it was anti Godhead. Right. I know. Because Trinity is, like, a rough word for a lot of people anyway. If it's anti Godhead, you'd have to just pull up all the other passages that are anti Godhead as well. Like, you can't take one and say, oh, man, it's a mistranslation. And so the Bible teaches against the Godhead. It. That would have to fit completely. Right. Like, you'd have to make sense of Jesus being baptized in the Jordan river while the Holy Spirit descends from heaven and while God the Father speaks from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased. You have to. You have to do something with that. You have to do something with these passages that say that if any man believes in his heart, if any man confesses with his mouth the Lord Jesus and confesses and believes in his heart that God hath raised him from the dead, he shall be saved. You have to do something with that.
A
I think this would be a. This would be a better question. Maybe we could hold on to this for Sean from Kingdom in Context, because they're talking about Erasmus omitting this comma from his translation from the Latin to the Greek. This probably goes super deep. It goes back to the 1500s. And. And who knows, man? People. People play around with weird translations. But, yeah, I think you're right, what you said. There. There's a lot of other evidence just besides this one, this comma, this misplaced word there, so.
B
And it's complicated. God. God is one, and yet God is three.
A
Yeah, but so are you.
B
Yeah. Yeah, so are you.
A
No, no, you.
B
Yeah, y' all missed the questions. Top. For the straight Bible side post of NDS and straight Bible collaboration. If you all want more to riff from. Told you you didn't have the.
A
Oh, that was from, like, a couple weeks ago.
B
Whatever. Let's pull them up. Dude, 30 minutes, dude.
A
Three hours on the dot. Right now.
B
You're gonna just do that quick thing where you.
A
I should, but I don't think. How do you want to end it today?
B
I don't know. What? Well, what all. Do we definitely get all the questions?
A
Because if people from this iteration. Yeah, if they. If they entered a question before this show started. I got it.
B
Okay. That's. That's all we're obligated to do, man. If they do them on YouTube and we can. Then that's great.
A
But you asking for more money.
B
No, we don't need any more money. We were very grateful for it, but we don't need anybody to send money,
A
Sam.

Hosts: David L. Corbo & TopLobsta
Podcast: Nephilim Death Squad (TopLobsta Productions)
This lively Q&A episode of Nephilim Death Squad is dedicated to fielding the toughest Bible and doctrine-related questions from listeners. True to their signature style, David and Top blend humor, candid storytelling, deep biblical research, and conspiratorial curiosity through a Christian lens. No topic is off-limits, ranging from defending the divinity of Jesus, spiritual warfare and dreams, church culture, marriage, missions, voting, supernatural phenomena, and contentious doctrinal debates—all while navigating plenty of laughs and memorable moments.
Fans get not just answers, but insight into the hosts’ unique approach: rigorous cross-referencing, a relentless “keep asking” attitude, and a drive to equip believers and challenge skeptics.
"People are always like, why is your style, like, cross referencing so much stuff? Because that's what you have to do. You can't read a passage and say, I think it means this. You say, okay, I think it means this. And it's supported by this, this, this, and this." (05:01)
"Anybody who's thinking that Jesus is not God is probably also not going to care what the scriptures say." (12:31)
"There is this 501C3 system that has set itself up in the temple, in the body of Christ, as God." (22:02)
"Dreams is absolutely a way God will communicate with you today. That doesn't mean every single dream. Sometimes you eat too much pizza." (27:49)
"At the end of the day you go, if God tells you to go." (53:53)
"If all the Christian people in America focused on their little sphere...neighbors, kids’ school...I would much rather spend my time on that than so-called politics." (40:10)
"I would be mindful of having dragons. If Satan is identified as a dragon in the scripture, I would be mindful to not have stuff like that now. Crystals in the earth, like that. God's in charge of the earth." (80:39)
"Sex is the marriage covenant...so intimate that two become one as the Bible describes it, and it's a marriage covenant between a man, a woman, and God." (59:57)
"This is a new thing when Jesus brings casting out demons on the scene." (106:22)
Homosexuality, Judgment & Fellowship:
"If they're claiming to be Christians, then I would break the fellowship. The Scripture teaches that plainly...We judge the church. We don't judge the world." (113:33)
Pearls Before Swine Principle: Sometimes, further explanation or debate isn’t fruitful—discernment is key.
"There's a way where this thing can kind of set itself up as God in the temple." (134:34)
[04:07-04:44] On Bible study:
“You got to be able to flip that one and then reference another passage in your mind and then reference three or four or five more. So, like, that's what we're doing here...”
[15:05] Matt’s mugshot story and conversion
“If I look at that picture of that guy, I'm like, I love that guy. That guy's like a little brother to me or a little cousin, but that's not me. Like. Like, I've been born again.”
[22:02] On church institutions:
“There is this 501C3 system that has set itself up in the temple, in the body of Christ, as God.”
[24:57] On being “pearls before swine”:
“...that's a biblical concept—don't throw your pearls before swine. Right? If people aren't ready for it, like, don't do it. Leave it alone.”
[46:29] On understanding God vs. faith:
“Personally, I have a hard time serving a God that I could fit comfortably in my own mind and understanding and it would take away from the genuine worship if he was something I could fully comprehend.”
[76:47-78:04] On “taking up your cross”:
"To take our cross is for us to die. Carry that cross to the place of death. Die to self. In our life now, all we want to do is the will of God."
[106:22-106:55] Why demonic deliverance is unique to Jesus
“As far as I can tell, this is a new thing when it. When Jesus brings casting out demons on the scene...now you're seeing that the war is on, that there's a dark kingdom.”
[121:48] On handling unrepentant sin
“But now. Have I written unto you not to keep company of any man that is called a brother. Be a fornicator...with such a.1. No. Not to eat.”
Super Chats & Gratitude ([109:11] onward):
“I just want to make sure everybody knows that...I appreciate you've worked hard and you have skill and talent and blood, sweat and tears is the only way you get dollars. And you're choosing to send us dollars...I appreciate it a lot.”
