do after I leave all your questions below. Grab your tickets now. Everything is right there. It's fairly simple to do.
C
Oh yeah. And do our special guest.
A
Yeah. Yes, we'll announce it.
C
So we, we had him under wraps. He was a secret guest. But Owen Benjamin and Ed are both going to be there. Owen was supposed to not tell anybody, but I don't think he really either didn't remember or didn't understand. I don't think he really cared. I don't think he gave a either. But he's gonna be there and we're glad to have him. So as well as Ed Mabry is going to be there, which is the first time Ed's gonna have made the trek out to Bohemian Grove. Took four Bohemian Groves to make it happen and we're finally doing it. And he's also going to be here for our VIP day where we're going to do a Bible study here at the stage studio with all the VIP members. So super pumped for that. Very excited. Ed. Before we get into this conversation, let's remind everybody where they can find you.
B
Sure. Thanks guys. So you can find me on my main website, faithbyreason.net that's where like all the material I've been going over and posting for the last 10 plus years is there. It's also where you can access my newest book is right there. We talked about it last week. I just dropped a new book on the seven letters to seven churches. I think it's, it's the most important part of revelation for the church or our age because it. These are, you know, seven letters that Jesus himself wrote to or penned, pinned rather he. He dictated to, to John. So it's a message to the churches that there were contemporaries of the churches that were there at the time in Asia Minor. But it relates to all churches, it relates to all of us individually. And those seven letters and the order in which they are given actually give you church history in advance. From the Apostolic church of Ephesus to the persecuted church, it's Smyrna through the. The rise of Catholicism with Thyatira Sardis, with Reformation all the way to today Laodicea, which is the, which called the.
A
The.
B
The postmodern church, which is the last one. So here we are. Oh, and do me a favor, if you, you can purchase the book there, you get the electronic version, the PDF version or the ebook. You can also get it on Amazon if you want the paperback. And if you do me a favor, go to Amazon and just give it a five star review. Even if you haven't read it. You can just give it five stars. Say, hey, you know, we like Ed's teaching or whatever you want to put there. But that just helps elevate the book and get more people to have it appear in their, in their searches.
C
Gotta hijack that algorithm. Yeah, these little things help tremendously.
A
How do you think we got on Mount Rushmore?
C
Yeah, that's right. We. We called the dangerous retards to, you know, spam until we made it.
A
I'm gonna buy this later today.
C
There you go. And also, Ed, we, we plan on having available, you know, physical copies at Bohemian Grove. Right?
B
Yes. Yes. Yeah, I'm gonna bring some out. I'll have them shipped out there. And if you guys want to get them there, you're more than welcome to. I'll be happy to sign them with my. As my wife calls my illegible handwriting. She says my signature looks like a bunch of spiders having a fight. Brutal. My wife has very neat handwriting.
A
My handwriting just ordered it edge, so we got it.
C
Women always have really nice handwriting.
B
Well, you know, neat handwriting is a sign of insanity.
C
Oh, you know who makes a lot of.
B
You know who had a beautiful handwriting style? Adolf Hitler.
C
I believe it. I believe in Charles Manson. Also notably fantastic handwriting. Interesting little side note there.
B
Just one More quick thing on the, on the website is where you can also sign up for the spiritual warfare course.
A
Yes, that's right. What was the promo code again?
B
Yes, capital nds. If you do that, then you get seven days of. Of you can get the first month. You have access to it for seven days. If you, if you like it, great. If you don't like it, then. If you, if you just like being attacked by demons, then go ahead and cancel and you won't be charged a dime. But if you, if you like it and want to keep going after that first month, you can keep it going. It's this 12 month intensive course every week, 48 weeks worth of lessons, video, workbook. And if you go to the higher tier, then you get two hours of, of live coaching with myself and John Lenhart, who will also be at Bohemian Grove.
A
Very cool. Have you followed up with, with Merkel about this? Because he's the one who kind of put the wheels on this for you guys?
B
Yeah, I, I did. He said that he. I think it shows like, they're completely booked for the rest of the year.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
There you're gonna probably have me on early,
C
I don't know, July.
B
Oh my God. Yeah, yeah, they're booked out. I think they have such a backlog of shows, so.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
That must be, must be nice. You know, there's a. I guess a problem with that though is that it's you. You kind of have to be current a little bit.
B
Yeah.
C
That's why we allow some things to jump the line. And then we'll do Nephew America, which is kind of like current events and that'll jump the line if it seems appropriate.
A
But then that gets like unorganized and messy. But it's also the appeal of subject being organized. I can see that would be nice. Like you went on vacation and like. Well, we did. We have somewhat of a backlog.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah. By the way, thank you to Kenny the fed for the 20 donation for, for my. Which I will be pocketing because I don't need the coolant anymore. I fixed the problem. I didn't fix the problem. The mechanic fixed the problem. And so I, I wore a lot of the coolant and it was hot.
A
Thank you, Kenny.
C
But thank you, Kenny. So what are we getting into today? And this is a continuation, more or less of the last episode that I wasn't on. And I was very upset to see Matt pretending like you were his friend. And I, I really don't like. Matt has this habit of trying to Talk to people and pretend that they're his friends. Really? They were ours first.
A
Well, it's written on the board.
C
It actually is. We have a dry erase, but it's not even a joke. It's right behind the tv. And one of the things is stop pretending our friends are your friends.
A
What did you, you've done. Is it 600 episodes with us? What did you think about the one that you did with Matt? But better, worse, not as good.
C
Right?
A
Just tell us.
B
It was very different, you know, that there's, there's no one like Raven to be on, on the show with.
A
It's just, you know, Raven.
B
I think the difference was, you know, Matt, you know, he kind of has like, you know, the biblical receipts, so he can, so, so he has, he can come, He has verses and everything like that. Whereas, you know, Raven gives me the stream of consciousness stuff, which is, I think the Holy Spirit just pops things into his head and he. And he like, you know, says them. So, you know, it's like Raven is an oracle and like, and Matt is more of a scribe. So, so Matt's a scribe and, you know, Raven's a pharisee. I don't know.
C
I agree. I would say I'm more of a, of a, of an oracle. He's more of a scrub. Is that what he's Scrub, Right.
B
I said scribe. Yeah.
C
Oh, scribe.
A
Okay.
C
All right, I'll, I'll tell. So, you know, you guys were having this conversation on last episode, and before we started, you and I were going back and forth a little bit, talking about, I don't know if this is going to apply so much, but it was this idea of like, does God know all things before they happen? And yeah, we talked about that.
B
Yeah.
C
So I mentioned the whole Abraham thing as a good example. Is that, is that kind of where we're going today?
B
Or, or yeah, we can circle back that. Because I think I've gotten some people who have reached out to me afterwards. You know, not hostile, they've pushed back, which I, I'm totally fine with if you, you know, you should push back, push back on everybody, including me. I, I, I don't know. Everything I know what, what I say is, is thus say it and not thus say it the Lord. But I try to, you know, back it up with, with scriptures and, and with, I think, logic and reason and all that kind of stuff. But please, absolutely. You should. Don't, don't follow anyone blindly. That's how you get involved in the cult. And if you're going to be involved in a cult, Give me money. But if you're not.
C
Want to do that, you know how much of a headache multiple women are? That's insane.
B
I've got, I've got, I've got one and she's, you know, she's a handful. I love her to death, but I, I can't imagine, like, you know, do the polygamy thing and like, you tell me what, are you serious?
C
Do you yourself? Why would you. There's that guy, Andrew Wilson, who's always, you know, debating women on the whatever podcast. And I said to him one day, and he didn't understand what I was trying to say. I said, hey, you're married. The best part about being married is you no longer have to engage with other women. It's actually such a huge burden off your shoulders to make your occupation. To argue with them when you're. You're married to one is, Is an insane endeavor to undertake. So, yeah, these other guys, these other occultists, they messed up because. Or cultists rather. They did the, the too many women thing and that's.
B
They totally. I, I feel so. I have single friends. I feel so bad for them in this culture. I'm like, I, you guys, I. You guys have it rough.
C
Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah, I agree with that.
B
But anyway, so, yeah, they're pushing back about this and giving me examples. Well, you know, God says this. How can he. How can he prophesy? Is the main pushback I've got from people, which legitimate question. So let me just give the premise is that God does not know what people, entities with free will are going to do before they do it, because we have free will. The choice that we're going to make tomorrow hasn't been made yet. So there's this idea, they call them the three omnis. You've heard them. God's omniscient, he's omnipotent, and he's omnipresent. Only one of those is biblical, that he is omnipresent. God is omnipresent everywhere. Not only is it biblical, you can prove it through science. You know, when you get to the quantum level, every proton in the universe knows what every other proton is doing on that quantum level. So. But the part about being omnipotent, this is. Defines. Well, God can do anything. No, God can't do anything. God. There's things in the Bible that God says he can't do. God can't lie. God can't stop being God. You know, when an atheist comes up with that silly argument. Well, can God. If God can do anything, can he make a rock so heavy he can't lift it? No, he can't. That's not possible. God is not. God is not omnipotent. God is all powerful. The difference is God can do anything that is possible, which means that God cannot do something that's impossible. And that doesn't diminish him. That makes him more real. And with the God is not omniscient, meaning he doesn't know everything that's ever happened because people look at it as if our existence is a movie that God already watched. So think about your favorite movie. You know what's going to happen. It's already, it's already happened. So the people within that movie don't have a choice. They're going, you know what they're going to do. They've done it already. But that's not how God is. God is all knowing. And that means that God has all the information that exists. Every piece of information that exists. God has access to it. But what that means is he doesn't have access to information that does not exist. And information that doesn't exist is the choices we're going to make 10 minutes from now. God doesn't know that yet. No, he knows causes, he knows us. And he can predict with a certain, with a level of, with a certain level of certainty what we're going to do. But he doesn't know. Exactly. Because we can always change our mind.
C
You know what I think is a good example of that? And I might, I'm hopefully not rehashing things you guys already talked about, but when Satan comes to.
A
You should show up more, David.
C
I should. When Satan comes to God and he says, you know, Job, your faithful servant would, would curse you, you know, if basically his life went to shitty, curse you to your face, and then God more or less takes that bet. Satan obviously knows God and for him to create that scenario, like, okay, let me go down, let me tempt him, let me ruin his life and, and we'll see if he doesn't curse you to your face, you know, to make a deal or, or in some ways a sort of a gamble, a bet with God knowing that God would definitively know the outcome no matter what kind of.
A
Yeah, that's kind of a. It's, I mean, stupid proposition.
C
If, if, yeah, because whatever God says after that, if he's all. If he knows definitively what's going to happen down to the T, like a movie he's already seen, then that Would be a completely foolish. But I mean, it's still a foolish bet in very many ways. And obviously the story pans out that way, but, you know, it doesn't make sense to even engage in it. And I would imagine that Satan knows God pretty well.
B
Okay, so two things on that. That. That is a good example of the point you're making is valid. The point is, however, there is a distinction I was going to bring up. Later on we talk about who the devil is and who he's not. And maybe I'll save that for. For a bit. That entity called the Satan of the Hasatan in Job, it's not the Satan we're thinking of.
C
Okay?
B
It's not. That's not like the. The nakash from the Garden of Eden, the great dragon. It's a different entity. Remember, Satan's not a name. Satan is a title. It means the adversary.
C
Right.
B
That entity in Job was not an evil angel. He was actually doing his job. His job. Who's an adversary? His job was to test people. How do we know that? Because it says that it came. There came a time with the sons of God, but I had Elohim. Good angels came to present themselves or to report to God. And it said the Hasatan came with them. He was part of their contingent. It wasn't like the devil just happened to be there. No. First of all, evil can't be in the presence of God. If that were the case, then what made you get saved for? We could just go to heaven now, say, hey, God, I'm here. No, evil cannot be in the presence of God.
C
Well, that actually is even more compelling.
A
Creates evil, though. He created evil.
B
How do you create evil?
A
So Reb Sims actually brought it up in the chat here. Isaiah 45. 7. And I remember this verse, but I not one that I could pull up on here. I'll show it to you here. Yeah. I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and I and create evil. I, the Lord, do all these things.
B
Okay, so this is where. This is the put up. Pull up the. Go to tools. Go to interlinear. Yeah, Go to evil.
A
Okay. Right here. It's raw. That's interesting.
C
That is interesting.
A
This is the Hebrew
C
bad, disagreeable, malignant man. There's a whole lot of sad, unhappy, bad, unkind, unpleasant.
A
Yeah, I mean, you know, God does spend. He sends like a spirit.
B
Right. But so let's look at that. So that word is translated evil. But the word that. The actual evil, the definition of evil is that which destroys in the Long term.
A
Mm.
B
So God can destroy in the short term for good in the long term. Give an example of what that means. Let's say you buy a piece of property and you want to build your dream home on it, but currently on a property, it's an old broken down shack.
A
Got to rip it down.
B
Yeah, exactly. So that's what it means as far as darkness is concerned. Darkness is the absence of light. And that word create there is. I'm going to bet I didn't look it up, but I'm going to assume that it is not the, the same word. Is it bara?
A
One second. Yep. Yes, it is.
B
It's bara. Because. Okay. Because in order for darkness to, To. To come into being, you have to extinguish light, because that's what darkness is. Darkness is a measurement of the lack of light. Darkness on its own doesn't exist. So I think God said he can withdraw his light and bring about more darkness.
A
Interesting. Right, right, right. I see what you're saying there.
B
Because that's another thing. I think when you had the guests, one thing we talked about Raven a lot was, I guess we had on before. And again, I'm not, I'm not trying to rip the guy. It's not. Yes. It's not personal or anything like that. You know, he seemed like a good guy, but I just have some disagreements with.
A
He might be at Brogrove and when you meet him, if he does come, he's a great dude too.
C
Oh yeah, yeah.
B
It's totally nothing personal. It's just, you know, I, I just, I, I disagree with some of his premises and one of them was. Seemed to be that, that, you know, God. The thing is, his premise was again that, that God knows every. Everything anyone's going to do before they do it. Meaning that if he knew that the entity we call Satan, the. The. The devil, the dragon, was going to be bad, then God wouldn't have created him. Therefore he had to be created some other way. But that again, that's the premise is I. Is incorrect, that he did not know what he was going to do before he did it. Because before, before when he created them, they had angels have free will if they couldn't rebel if they didn't have free will. So he didn't know he was going to do that. So, so God did create a, The. The. The anointed cherub, as he's called in Ezekiel, chapter 28. And he created him to be the high priest, you know, every, Every precious stone with his covering. And he names Those precious stones, those are the same stones that are on the breastplate of the high priest in Israel. The Israelite high priest had those same things. So this entity was intended to be the highest of creative beings. He was intended to be the high priest who would. Who. Basically, he led the worship of Jehovah, but then he fell because of his pride. But he didn't know that God didn't know that ahead of time. So God doesn't destroy in the long term. He can destroy in the short term to create in the long term. Because God. God is light and there's no darkness in him at all. So he can only withdraw his light and that brings about darkness because we. That's. That's in the book of First John, that God is light and there's no darkness in him at all. So both those things can't be true if God. So God is not darkness, but when he withdraws his light, then darkness grows.
A
Right. Yeah. We were just reading. We were reading about David and Saul, obviously, and it's the point where they're describing how soul. Like there was a spear there and Saul threw it at him twice. Yeah, very interesting that. It says, I don't want.
B
I'll.
A
I'll bring it up. But something to the effect of, like, God came into him and put, like, evil in him for him to do this thing. I'm like, what. What does that mean? Like, for him to do an evil thing?
B
Well, it's like when God hardened Pharaoh's heart.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
He did that through justice because. Well, I don't know if he ever talked about this, but I kind of get confused at who I've said to, what I've said to whom on which show. But when you look, because it looks like unfair. Like, why would God harden Pharaoh's heart? Well, look at what happened before that. God tells Moses to go tell Pharaoh to let his people go. He didn't say to free them from their slavery. He says, let them go to the mount, to Mount Sinai to worship me. He basically said, hey, give him a weekend pass.
C
Yeah.
B
Pharaoh said, no, number one, which he had to write a right to do. But then he. Then he doubled up their burden and said, yeah, you're going to make straw, you know, make brick without straw. So now. Now Pharaoh's on the wrong side of justice. So now God can justly harden his heart because Pharaoh. And it fits the. The punishment fits the crime. Pharaoh said, not only am I not going to let your people go for a weekend, I'm going To make it tougher on them. Okay, you're going to make it tougher. I'm. So you just. You became stubborn. Well, I can. I'll make you more stubborn.
C
I think it even says that he. He did this in a calculated manner so that it would be evident for future generations as to, like, what God has done here.
A
It's also. It also has to be in you too. I don't like when we're talking about the creation thing. Like you said, he can withdraw his light, but that darkness is. Is going to be a side effect. So there has to be a darkness in you. And if. If maybe. Maybe soul becoming evil in that moment, like losing his mind is like God drawing away from him and letting that. Yeah, it's already stirring in him.
B
Good. That's a great point. Because in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit could come and go, which is different than the being a New Testament believer. The Holy Spirit is given to us without repentance, which means the Holy Spirit is never going to leave us. But you know, the story of Samson, people have this idea. So funny. Whenever you see, like Samson depicted, he's like this big, strong, muscular dude. I don't think he was. I think he was like a regular guy. I think. I think when the holy. That's why people were so amazed at his feats of strength. They're like, this dude's a string being. Why is he, you know, lifting all this stuff and beating up a lion with the jawbone of a donkey? I think with the Holy Spirit would indwell him temporarily. He would give him that great strength, but then he would leave. So the Holy Spirit and David in the psalm said, you know, do not let your spirit depart from me. That's not a psalm a Christian needs to say, because it's the Holy Spirit can't depart for them, so. Can't depart from them. So I think so. Yeah, you're right. The Holy Spirit could come and go and other spirits. Here's One of. One of my favorite areas in. In the Bible is the. In First Kings, where you have the story of Ahab and the prophet Micaiah. Because this is something that Michael Heiser brought up in his book about the divine council where Micaiah gets this vision of God surrounded by his council of angels. And he God says, okay, Ahab. Ahab's been screwing up constantly says it's time for him to go. Ahab's committed so many bad things, it will be just for me to wipe him out. And he went to his counselor, says, okay, how should we do it? And Micaiah said, I heard spirits talking amongst each other. Like, one said one thing and the other said another thing. And one spirit stepped up and said, okay, God, I'll do it. And God says, how? He says, I'll be a lying spirit in the mouths of his prophets. And God said, yeah, do it. That'll work. So what does that mean? That means that because these. These prophets were already liars. They were false prophets. He just amplified what was already there. So he didn't create a lie. He just said, okay, I'll be a spirit and I will give them. This is just for them because they're already doing it, right?
C
There's, like, iniquity in them. And so this thing is allowed to come to pass. That's a lot of what we've been talking about. I was just on vacation and I'm trying to unpack these things.
A
How are you so dark?
C
I don't know. I don't know what the hell's going on.
B
Because you want to be black, dude. Just be honest. That's why I make so many jokes about black people, dude. It's like the girl of school, you pull her pigtails because you want to. You want to get with her.
C
Have you ever seen my grandma? My grandma is, like, completely black. Like from Africa black. Well, my great grandma, but so. So a lot of this conversation I'm having with them is trying to explain this idea of, like, iniquity. And the things that you. The things that you engage in create a set of legal circumstances by which spirits have access to. You legally have access.
B
That's what we talked about. That's what we talked about in spiritual warfare class. We just got through the. The defensive section, and now we are on offense. But one of the things we teach people in the defensive portion of this of the course is that God does everything through laws and covenants. And, yeah, everything in the spiritual realm. We may have mentioned this before. When you make a covenant, you've just given them. And a covenant is speaking the words and being a words, either words you speak or words spoken over you that you walk in agreement with, you've just made a covenant. And when you make a covenant, you've given the dark energy, the dark forces, legal right to do it. So if you say, I never have money and you agree with it, well, guess what? That's why you're always broke. That's why every time you get a little bit of money, you know, your car breaks down, your roof leaks or something, you've Given them permission to keep you in a poverty state. So. So we teach you how to break those covenants and speak the opposite of them. And, you know, that's. We can. We'll get into generational curses down the road, but that's a lot of it has to do with that kind of stuff.
A
Let me tell you why that's true. When I lived in Coney island, my Uncle Sass, the guy's house that I bought, I invited you over that you didn't go to because you really wanted to play video games on Christmas. That's fine. It's okay. In Coney island, his house was connected to my house. Like, you ever seen, like, those. Like. I know the neighborhoods of, like, just, like, a string of houses.
C
Oh, like a duplex or like. Oh, no, no. I know what you mean. I know what you mean. Yeah, they're, like, just right next to each other.
B
They're, like, sharing walls.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
They. So they built the city built them. And it was, like, affordable housing at the time. My parents brought in the whole family, so, like, on either side, I had family, but he lived right next to me. And his wife, she's the best, but she's very much like, oh. And her mother that was alive at the time is always like, oh, woe is me. Oh, I just know this is gonna happen.
C
Yeah. And do that.
A
It was a time of, like, something like, I don't know. We're living there for 15 years, and they go, our warranty on the roof is almost up. And I just know. And I just know that this is gonna happen. And their roof gets holes in it, and my roof does not.
C
That's so funny, dude.
A
And we are connected. And then even got to a point where she was like, I'm really worried about rats. I hear that there's a rat. She gets a rat infestation. And she's very clean.
C
Yeah.
A
And we're clean, too. But, like, we don't get around Puerto Rican. But we're as clean as Puerto Ricans could be. We don't have that. And they live connected to us and they have the infestation because I think they're blowing
C
literally actually happening.
B
Is the rapture happening?
C
No, they're just.
A
Not yet.
B
Okay.
C
You know, so I'm very much aware of that. And it maybe even to, like, a. Not a. Not a hypochondriac level, but, like, if I'm sick, I will say I'm coming out of it. It's, you know, oh, I had a little thing, but it's almost over. I'm coming out of it. I'm getting better.
A
I don't know if it works this way, Rebs.
C
I'm rich. I'm rich. I'm rich. I'm rich. It might be. Keep doing it. So. So. But I actually will, like, shake those thoughts off, which is probably insane looking, you know? But, like, if I'm hanging out and I'm just. And I'll have a thought. Let's say, for example, the car problems that I was having, and I had a weird dream where I felt like there was some sort of witchcraft going on, and then I start to draw a correlation, but I don't want to come into agreement with that. Like, this thing happened to me, and now I'm watching all these kind of dominoes fall, and I'll, like, I'll shake that off, and I'll start saying, you know, it's gonna be. And I would say this, like, even though the car was overheating and everything, I had this whole, you know, experience over vacation. Yeah, I. I pulled back. We. We finally got back in the driveway, decided to stay another night and. And deal with the car problems in the morning, and my whole family's going, oh, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. And I go, it's gonna be fine. Tomorrow, it's gonna be fine. It's. Just give it a day, let it rest, and everything's gonna be fine.
A
You get that string from grandma.
C
I don't do that. Oh, that's my grandma's face over Matt's face, which is really, really horrifying.
A
It was black and white grandma, but
C
yeah, yeah, she was. I think that was actually a mug shot. She was a. A slave from Spain, of all places, and. But she was.
B
Was she a Moore?
C
I don't know. I want to say that because it sounds cool as. But I don't know.
B
Who's gonna check you.
C
Who's gonna.
A
Well, I already.
C
I already said that. The, The Jews trafficked my grandmother, and, and then everybody said, dude, that is not a. A bill of sale for your grandmother. That's a crime. Your grandmother is being arrested. It's a mug shot. And I went, oh, so I can't lie about my grandma, but I just know she was black and she was from Spain and trafficked to Uruguay or Argentina. Uruguay. Argentina. One of those two places. But, yeah, so, So I, I, I do believe that because, like, Top is saying you could observe that. Is it any coincidence that some of the people that are doing the worst that you encounter in Your life are also, you know, woe is me ass, motherfucker. Like, they just can't stop, you know, singing about their downfalls.
B
Think about folks who are the other way around who, like, nothing bad ever happens to them. They're just like this. It's usually, like, really, really dumb people. Have you noticed? Like, they just, like, live a charmed life because they're just. They're too dumb to complain. They're just like, oh, everything's great. Everything's roses and sunshine. Yeah.
C
Yeah. I have a beautiful life in very many ways. I have, you know, whatever little struggles I have, but, like, my life, it to me feels wonderful. And I don't like anything that happens to me. I don't. I might see the insanity in it, in the moment and. And, you know, talk about how crazy it is, but, like, yeah, I'm always at the mindset, like, yeah, it's gonna be fine. It's gonna be fine. But
A
I try my best to, like, be that way. I think that's why the dynamic between me and David works so good. There's. There are times where I'll. I'll. I. I've called him. I'm like, hey, Dave, what's happening now is not good.
B
And we are gonna.
A
And he's like, I am fine. And I was like, we're gonna fix this. It doesn't have to be this.
B
I think you need a little bit of.
C
A little bit. Both. Yeah. You need both.
A
Yeah. But, like, one will drive you crazy.
C
Yeah.
A
One will make you crazy.
C
I don't know.
B
Yeah. Another thing is I think. And the reason I think people who are like. And I'm not speaking of Raven here, people who are less intelligent, they just. They don't overthink. I think when you're. When you're over thinker, when you overthink, then you're going to start worrying.
C
Yeah.
B
If you're not an overthinker, you're like, yeah, see, I'm just doing my life. I'm just doing my thing. I'm fine.
C
I. You know what it is? I came to terms with this. This idea of if you cannot affect it, then you cannot worry about it because you will suffer a thing multiple times over until it comes to pass. So if you're anticipating a thing coming and you cannot affect that it's coming, well, you better relax about it until it shows up. Enjoy the time you have until the thing shows up. I'm all about minimizing the. The. The ground zero of it all. You know what I mean? So if a thing is looming on the horizon, it's not going to do its damage until it's here. And the second it passes back on with it and before it shows up, I'm moving as if it's not coming. And you know, of course, unless I can affect it. You know what's interesting, I wanted to bring this to your attention. So it's actually on a clip of yours that's on our page on, on Instagram. And there's an individual who keeps trying to. I guess he's probably relatively innocently asking a question. He may be trying to work us into some sort of gotcha moment, you know, as people do when they don't agree with the God of the Bible. But he's doing it in a kind of a passive manner. And so he says these things over and over again. This idea of like, where is God located? Because if God is omnipresent, then that makes God everything. Which is very much kind of a new age or even pseudo scientific view of we are the universe experiencing itself subjectively. And if God is the universe, then we are God experiencing himself subjective. And, you know, so he's asking for a specific location. Is God omnipresent or is he located somewhere? And I said Second Corinthians 12, two through four, which talks about, you know, God's throne and, and the third heaven, I believe. And, you know, I just gave that to him, like, are you asking where God? Because I didn't really quite pick up on what was happening at the moment. And then he goes on to be like, oh, well, here's your gotcha moment. If he is relegated to one position, then he's not omnipresent. And if he is omnipresent, then the worship of a stone is therefore the worship of God because he is in all things. And this is like a really slippery slope for people who have not looked into any information. And the reason that I say that is because I asked him. Your entire worldview is, is based on the presupposition that God is everything. And if God is everything, then maybe in some ways everything is permitted, right? Which is another will is the whole of the law type of thing. Like, there's a lot of really slippery slopes in that situation. But if you're operating from this, I'd like to know what information are you basing that off of that God is everything. And it just kind of comes out as a word salad and goes, well, I mean, if energy is this and that, and we're made up of energy and the universe is. It's like, okay, so no information is what you're saying effectively. Could you speak to that a little bit? This idea of, like, the omnipresence of God and God being everything.
B
So God cannot be everything, because if he was everything, then how could he have created the universe? How could the universe have not existed and then existed? Then that would have meant that God was. Didn't part of God didn't exist, and then he created the physical universe. Now more of him exist. No, that's, that's. No. God existed before the universe, therefore he cannot be. God is. God is transcendent. He is outside, if you want to say physically, for lack of a better term, he is outside of the universe. When omnipresent, as the word means presence, his presence is everywhere. It doesn't mean that he is physically everywhere because God is not physical. I think his main problem is that he is confusing this physical with the spiritual. They are not the same thing. They are not. This world that we call, that we consider physical is not the same as the spiritual realm. God is in a higher dimension. He is much higher. We. We are in. We experience, you know, the three spatial dimensions in the fourth dimension of time. And our. And even scientists postulate that our physical world is about ten dimensions, you know, four that we could. Four that are knowable. The rest are not knowable. They're, as the, the physicists would say, you know, they're curled to within, you know, 10 to the. Minus something centimeters. I'm not going to get into that. But the point is that God is outside of that. So are the Elohim, so are the angels. They are outside of that. So God's consciousness is everywhere, but he is not. He is conscious of me, but he is not me. Because, like, then what was he before I, Before I was born?
C
Right. This is kind of the concept to me, sounds like. And correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're outside, outside of this reality, then you can observe all things within it from the outside, right? Yeah.
B
One of the things, one of the analogies that my old mentor Chuck Missler would talk about was a parade. If you were standing at, you know, at. On the, on the ground of a parade, you're just seeing things pass by. You see one thing at a time. If you're in a helicopter above the parade, you see the whole parade, right? You can see. You can see all of it. And God sees everything. He can hear my prayer here. He can see. He can hear the prayer of somebody who's In Germany right now, he can hear prayer of someone who's in, who's in Ghana right now because he is conscious. Consciousness is everywhere. Because when I said that, you know, every proton in the universe knows what every other proton is doing. Keep in mind that when you get to the quantum level, there is no physicality. It's all vibration. I mean, again, it's the whole matrix idea that even this world is, is not real in the way we define realness. We, this is like, you know, it's, we're, we live in a hologram, essentially. Yeah. So if you, if you created a hologram, if you're, say, your computer design, you create a holographic what model. You can know everything that's going on there, but you're not the hologram. So God knowing where what is going on doesn't mean he is physically in it.
C
You know, what's strange about it is it is appealing in some way. It sounds intellectual. It's, it's not incorrect. Once you start getting into the idea of, like you said, the holographic universe, everything is really empty space and energy is, is what really, you know, animates all of this. And, and if energy, the second law of thermodynamics is that it cannot be destroyed or created or something of that nature or does that matter? I don't know, but we'll keep it. Oh, that's interesting. So, Sam Triple, he's calling.
A
Let me take this.
B
So, hey, why don't you cancel me, dude? I was supposed to be on your show today.
C
Yes, he said, Ask him why. Why he canceled.
B
I blame Mark. It wasn't, it wasn't Sam.
C
False if, how he was Mark. So, so I love you, Mark. I'm just.
B
Shout out if you're listening. I'm just kidding.
C
It sounds like it's got some legs. And in that way I think what it does is because to me, I, I, I've heard this argument before and it's very prevalent within New age ideologies. When you say yeah, yeah, yeah. And, and so it is this thing that sounds intellectual, it also sounds spiritual. And it sounds as if it's free of the perceived dogma of religion, which religion is now, you know, relegated to just being a control mechanism for the masses type of deal. So if you go with this, which I can, I can understand why you might have the unction to go with it. It is the gateway to all sorts of things. I mean, paganism most obviously, right? Because the worship of anything in nature is therefore the worship of God. If God is in all things.
A
Right.
C
But fundamentally paganism I think can be defined as the worship of creation as opposed to the creator.
B
Yeah. Romans, chapter one. Yeah.
C
So it's, it's a very wide net that's casted with this idea and it captures so many people. And I almost feel bad because it has some holes when you obviously look at it closer. But when you zoom out and you look at it from a thousand foot view, it seems appealing and a lot of people who are well meaning are falling for it.
B
And here's. I know we're going to get into Satan in a bit, but, but I'll, I'll give you a little preview of something I'm going to talk about more. I'll just talk about it right now about the way Satan, and when I say Satan, I mean anyone, any of the entities that are Satanic are adversaries. The same thing is one entity. Satan has locality. Unlike God, Satan, the fallen angels, whatever you want to name them, they have a certain level of locality. They are not omnipresent, they're not everywhere. So you're not united Satan. Satan has more important people to deal with than you and me. He's, he's probably in Congress somewhere. But you know what, in all seriousness, that's what he's hanging out right now behind, whispering in, like in like. Yeah, yeah, exactly. So when you're dealing with these entities, they lie. But the best lie is, is going to be wrapped in, in, in a truth. I think we talked about this before. So you, what you want a deception is a right what or right fact with a wrong how or why? Because if someone gives you a fact that sounds true and then they give you the wrong context. So effect God is everywhere fact. Oh well then that must mean he's in the rocks and the trees and the water. That's the deception because the fact appeals to you on a, on a, on a, an internal level. Yes, God is everywhere. I agree with that and that is correct. But then the deception comes with what you attach to it. You give it a wrong how or why.
A
Yeah, well, I think a good example here, biblically we were going through Exodus where Aaron, Aaron fashions the, the calf, right? And he says, he tells the people, gather up the goldie, makes a calf, they start to worship it. Interesting thing about that gold is that the gold's given to them by God when they're coming out of Egypt. Like he says, give them the gold and they give them their stuff, their earrings and all that stuff. So it's something Given by God. This is. It's, in a sense created.
C
Not.
A
I mean, gold is essentially created by God, but then the gift is given to them by God and they form it into something else and worship it. So it's complicated, right, because on it, on its exterior, it's. It is made by God. It's a natural thing, and it's even given to you by God, but you formulate it into something else and then you worship it. And then he kills 3,000 of you guys because you're not supposed to do that.
B
Right?
A
So I think. Matt, Matt, he says it great when we're talking about his food forest. He's like, yeah, man. I look at the trees and it's like, yeah, God is like moving through. Like, you see the growth and like he. He creates the increase. And. And his disposition is always, thank you, God, for this.
C
Of course.
A
Yeah, I wasn't owed this. Thank you for that. Like, because in a sense it is. Don't worship it, though.
C
Yeah.
A
It's this creation. And you just say, yeah, thank. Like, anytime. You see people too. I try my best. You see people and you're like, oh, this guy stinks or whatever it is. But it's like, ah, he was created by God. I should be like, more happy when I see people. I'm just kind of. I get tired. You get tired too, sometimes. But like, that's a correct disposition. You shouldn't worship people.
B
Yeah.
A
But also realize there is like a spark of divinity. There's a spark of God that, like, you know, he put his. His fingerprint on that thing.
C
Yeah, right.
B
Yeah, yeah. Every person is unique and they have something to. To give, but they may not know what their uniqueness is and they may not know what their value is. They're not being valuable. So if they're not being valuable, you don't have to, you know, you don't have to go out of your way to value them. Because if they're not bringing something to the table, what you can do is say, hey, you know what? Here, be better. You know, you can help them, you know, be better so that they can be, you know, better to other people and better to the world.
C
Yeah, God breathed life into them.
A
Yeah.
C
But they have the agency to decide whether or not they suck.
B
Right. Or they.
C
They do. Well, you know what's interesting?
A
God's creation, not God itself. So correct again. Like, what we're doing here is very important. Where even I know, people get mad about, like, well, what does God know and what does. I disagree with this.
B
Yeah.
A
Like we were trying to figure this stuff out so that way you could accurately worship God. Like, who is God? What does he do? What is he like? If you don't know, if you're not even asking, most people aren't even asking because it, you know, you might stumble upon some offensive conclusions or you might be wrong. Well, then what are we doing?
B
Yeah, I mean, that's the whole point of what I do. And I mean, because I've been asked a lot, you know, what, how you encapsulate what you, what faith about reason is all about. It's. I want, I want to enhance people's walk with God. And the best way to do that is by helping them know who God is and who he is and how he does things and how he doesn't do things. And so why don't we just, why don't we close the loop on the whole, you know, what does God know? Thing and we can move on. Because I don't want us to get lost in that because I know people are going to be like, banging that you never finished. You thought, okay, so, so, so God, here's what God does know and here's how we can prophesy. God knows what he's going to do. So how can God prophesy in Revelation that he's going to pour off the bowls of wrath and all these sorts of things and. Because he's going to do it. So God can say what he's going to do. I can say, here, here's what I'm going. I can prophesy that, you know, tomorrow actually, I'm going to get a haircut tomorrow. I can prophesy that I will be getting a haircut tomorrow because I'm in control.
A
God willing.
B
Yeah, God will. My barber doesn't, like, you know, flake out on me, but, but God can say, I'm going to do this. No, no, unlike me, no one can stop God from doing what he wants to, what he can do through justice. You know, the world will have deserved that at that point, which is, you know, it's kind of scary when you think about it, that, that God is. God knows that he's going, that the world is going to get to the point so he can prophesy that the world is eventually going to get to the point where he can justly pour out the wrath. But he doesn't know how long it's going to take. So far it's been 2,000 years or more, actually, if you go back to the Book of Daniel or, or Some of the other minor prophets who also had apocalyptics books. So they prophesied this. God knows that eventually the world's going to get so bad that I can justly judge it with these horrifying cataclysms, but I don't know how long it's going to take. So there's another, another point of prophecy that shows that we have free will. So God knows how eventually what we're going to do, but he doesn't know how long. So God can. So God can prophesy what he's going to do. And God can also prophesy with specificity what entities with no free will are going to do. And that is all the fallen entities have been judged. Once you've been judged by God, you no longer have a free will. So that's why he knows what Satan is going to do, what the other fallen Elohim are going to do, because they don't have a free will. So when you go back to the book of Daniel, when they. Basically Daniel's eavesdropping on a conversation in heaven, basically where the fallen Elohim, or obeying one of the spiritual laws, David, that you have to speak it in one realm for it to manifest. And they said that through these four empires we're going to usher in our Antichrist, which he was called the, the little horn in Daniel with COVID with eyes. And he is going to be our guy, our false Messiah. God says, cool, that's what you're going to do. That's what's going to happen. Here's my counter move. I'm going to bring a son of man riding on the clouds, a human being with the authority of God and he's going to inherit the earth. And the rest of the. That's like the whole story right there. The rest of the Bible is just all that playing out in our realm. So he can, he can predict what he's going to do accurately and what, you know, entities with no free will are going to do accurately. Those are specific. Then there are general prophecies that he can make based on knowing the causes that lead to the effects. So when he says that all the world corporately will worship the Antichrist. Well, how does he know that? Well, because he knows our tendencies that the world will not everyone because there's going to be lots of people who are saved during the tribulation period. So he's speaking corporately because the, because the why? Because the world has always gone after false entities, false, false gods. So he can say that. So we can predict now. And I think I gave the example maybe last time I was on the show. Like, my wife's favorite ice cream is butter pecan. Okay. When we go to a restaurant or whatever and then they ask, hey, we have ice cream, what flavor do you want? I can say, my wife's gonna get butter pecan. I know her, and nine times out of ten she will. I can make that general prophecy, but maybe one day she says, you know what? Today I want chocolate. She still has free will, but I can, I know her tendencies over the long term. She is going to choose butter pecan more often than not. So I can make that prophecy about her. And that's a general prophecy and it's not a specific. So he can make general prophecies about us, about humanity, but he doesn't know specifically. And if he did, then John 3:16, the most famous verse in the Bible would be. Would be meaningless. For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son that whosoever. That means he doesn't know how many people are going to accept Jesus. And that, and that, you know, flies in the face of and, and contradicts Calvinism, which they said, God knows everyone is going to be saved. Not only does he say this Calvinism say he knows everyone is going to be saved, says that he chooses, and that makes God cruel. And that's the thing, something your previous guest Jet kind of brought up. And he thought that was wrong and he's right, that is incorrect. But he had a different explanation for how it plays out. But it would be cruel for God before you're born and say, yep, you're going to heaven, you're going to hell, you have no choice. That's a completely against the nature of God. So that whole predestination thing is. And not only that, it makes you lazy. Because if, if God knows who's going to hell and who's not and there's nothing you can do about it, then why evangelize? Right?
A
We were, we were joking. Again, we'll move on from the subject now, but me and Matt were joking about the Bible like, like Matt's like a time travel guy. It's very annoying. And at any point, any of these people, these main characters, these figures in the Bible could have said no. And, but that still plays out like that. If they say no, then somebody else does it. And maybe it's like a couple months later, maybe it's a few years later, maybe, I don't know. And some people even try to jump the Gun. Like Moses tried to jump the gun and start moving because, because he knew that he was supposed to do a thing. But I don't know, what if David says no when he's called to go play for Saul or something like that? He could have said no. Somebody else does that and that same story plays out and it's. Instead of David, it's whoever, whoever is in there.
C
Randall, Randall.
A
Randall's doing this. And then we know King Randall. And, and the story is like the same, but maybe slightly different. Maybe some of the, you know, the details are different on the side. But generally it's a great point.
B
God's. He will bring his will about. But if you say no, that means he has to take another route. It happens in our lives. I mean, how many times have we said no to God and all that meant was no. But now I have to go to take a different route. So, honey, God is always course correcting our lives. He's always course correcting, but his will is going to happen. But who knows? Maybe if things have worked out differently, you know, the world would have ended, you know, 500 years ago. But because of, because of the thing, because of our free will, things have happened differently. I mean, I, I gave the, the example last week. David, you weren't on the show, was like my, my dad, who's, who's a preacher, he told me my 20s, he says, I think you' be in the ministry. And I was like, hell, no. I want no part of the ministry in my 20s. I want to go out and drink and chase women and do my thing. How different would things have been if I had taken that seriously and maybe gone to theology school? Maybe I'd be worse. Maybe I'd be so, you know, ingrained in, in the doctrines of the, the whatever theological cemetery I went. Cemetery, Freudian slip, seminary I went to, that maybe God wouldn't be able to flow through me the way he is now. Who knows? But he would have found another way. But when I said, I don't want to be in the ministry now I'm in my 20s, I want to go out and have fun and party, God had to course correct. He says, no, this is who you should be. This is how. This is what's not because God's a dictator, but God knows who I am and what's going to make me happy. And I am happiest doing this. So he says, I'm going to keep course correcting because I. Because you've given your life to me. I want the best for you. And what's best for you is to do this. So I'm going to keep making course corrections to steer you back. And it's just taken another 20 years, you know, you.
C
So you said something before that stuck with me. And it's probably simple that a lot of people take for granted. But it kind of clicked because you were talking about, you know, God, and the reason that he was able to harden Pharaoh's heart is because he asked initially to let his people go into the desert and worship and sacrifice and do these things. And Pharaoh said no to that. And then he doubled their workload, or however you would even measure it, saying that now you have to get your own bricks and straw and make your own. And, you know, so because of that imbalance there, God was then allowed to harden his heart. And then you mentioned separately later on that once the world has. I'm paraphrasing here, but sufficiently transgressed now, this judgment is allowed to take place against it. And that really put a thing into a framework that I didn't necessarily have before. I never had a problem with it, this idea that the world would be judged and these things would come to pass. But it's just another instance of God's character in the way that he operates, being consistent.
B
Yeah.
C
And once again, by the way, it's another instance of people who will go, the God of the Old Testament is the demiurge, who behaves very much the same way as the God of the entire Bible. If you're really looking at it, if you're actually observing the behavioral patterns in the prophecy that points to Christ all throughout the Old Testament and all these things, like, everything is very consistent. For me, that's just another example of. Of that consistency. It's kind of funny because there's this, you know, big QAnon conspiracy. And on the previous show, Top and I were watching a music video, an AI music video that Elon Musk was retweeting. And. And it's funny, filled with Qanon, I guess, what would you call it?
A
Lore.
C
And a lot of it has to do with time travel. And so within this QAnon conspiracy, there is this idea that time travel is a part of it all. And there's no shortage of conspiracies that say, like, they're engaging in time travel. They're looking at Project Looking Glass. They're doing these things to try to stave off this judgment. And, you know, I know it's a complete side tangent, but it just makes me think, like, oh, are they in A constant struggle with making sure the cup of iniquity doesn't overflow. So that judgment can be, you know, because you're saying it could have happened 500 years ago. It's, it's really this thing that will come to pass. It's just when will it come to pass? And if somebody figured that out at some point, like, oh, if we fill this cup up, too much judgment is coming. We better go back and, you know, tweak a couple of things and stop this from happening and alter that. If you were have to come, or if you were to have come to the conclusion that that is the way that God operates, you have to cross this line so that you can be judged and that it would be righteous, it would be justified, well, then you might come to the conclusion, then let's alter the amount of iniquity that we're enacting upon this planet.
B
Okay, so here's okay, that's the point I want to make within that the whole time travel thing is a concept. It's fascinating, makes for great books and movies I have problems with because of all the paradoxes that would be part and parcel of it that will make it almost impossible. But again, I don't, I'm not a physicist. I don't know. I mean, I dabble in the, in that kind of stuff and I think it's interesting, but I just see their, the paradoxes just doesn't seem like it work or you have to have alternate timelines get you to multiverse stuff like that. And who knows? But I think one point that I want to, that I want to emphasize is that you're right, that these entities know that, you know, they're, they're on the clock. You know, eventually they're, God's going to pour off the route. They want to stall it. What's the best way to stall it? I don't think it's by making the world intentionally making it worse. Because you're right, this is going to get up to a point where God says, okay, I've got enough justice. You know what? The best way to, to stay this off is to keep people lukewarm. If you keep people from like choosing a side because God said, Jesus says, you know, you, you got to be hot or cold, but if you just like, just right in the middle, you know, you're not too bad, you're not too good. I'm just keeping you right. You know, I have a spirituality. I believe in this, but I, you know, maybe not the God of the Bible, but I want to be a good person. But you're, you're lukewarm. You're staying right in the middle. And what you're doing is you're just delaying it. It's going to happen because, you know, we're on a downward slope. But what you don't see, if it being like this, make it more like. Like that. You're kind of flattening the curve. So they're starting because they know this. They know that, you know, the end is coming. And they, but they can't control us either. They. But. And we're going. And I think it's increasing mostly because I think that Christianity is diminishing. And that's, you know, we talked about before, light and darkness, that's. The light of Christianity dims. The darkness is going to grow. But I think if these entities had their way, they try to flatten it out. That's actually. Yeah, go ahead.
C
I'm sorry, Ed, I said, but.
B
But when you look at things like, you know, disclosure, the, the never ending, like kicking the can of disclosure down the road, I think it's because these entities know that it's close and they're preparing for it. They just don't know how close. They just need to be ready that whenever it happens, be it, you know, the Rapture, it's the whole. We've talked about that before. Or, or whether it's whatever, they know what's going to happen. And when it does happen, they said, well, we need to have our ducks in a row. So if, let's say people do disappear tomorrow, oh, it was the aliens, or if there is a nuclear war or something like that, oh, we need to bring our alien people in here to stop it because, you know, we still need some people around to help carry out our will. So I think that they know it's close and they have this disclosure thing on the back burner. But I think the reason it keeps getting kicked down the road is because, guys, like, I'm not ready yet. You guys force my hand. I don't care how many red heifers you grow. I don't care. You're not going to force my hand. I'm going to do things when my justice has reached its point and you don't know when that is.
C
That's actually a really fascinating thought because, yeah, you can tell by the signs and the times whether or not we're getting close, but you're never going to know the day or the hour. And so having these, these plot devices, for lack of a better Term in position. Like aliens. Yeah. I mean, that would be like, based off of the way everything's looking, if they really do believe it. Right. Rapture is going to happen. And so, yeah, you have these, these, this, this alien disclosure in place for it. One of the things that I really agree with that Jed was on the show talking about was this thing that, you know, God is separating. He separates light from darkness. It's one of the, you know, very first things that he's doing in, in Genesis. So just given that element of like, what, what God's job is, like what he's decided to do here, this act of separation and then how that applies to being lukewarm, that makes a ton of sense. It's, it's like maybe the, the move isn't to just push everybody to the darkness. If you're the, the evil masterminds of everything. Maybe the. As, as Dr. Leather, Heather Lynn said, when you're sitting on the fence, Satan owns the fence. Right. So you're actually doing his bidding by being on the fence. And if it's God's will to separate these things, if it's God's will for you to be, like you said, hot or cold, sitting on the fence is maybe almost more egregious.
A
Yeah. Every time I've said like, you know, our church does a lot of. What's that called? Ministry. What is it?
C
Oh, missionary. Missionaries. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
A lot of missionary. And I'm like, I don't like this. I don't like the missionary. I don't like it for two reasons. Number one, a lot of problems here. And I'm like, you're doing missionary. That's. You're. We're accelerating the timeline, which I guess we're supposed to do. Right. I. I don't know. Maybe there's another argument.
B
You can argue that.
A
Yeah, there's another argument as well where if, if I were the forces of evil, or if, if I were me, what I want to do to the government during COVID is create an accelerationist movement and start making them respond to me and act in a frenzy. And then you see how they get sloppy. And, and the Internet as a whole did that really good. And then we were able to see through a lot of the lies. So accelerationism is a technique that could be used to push. I wonder if, you know, Satan and that side are trying that technique or if they are, if they're trying to stay their hand and keep it nice
C
and even probably trying to stay there. They're not trying to rush to judgment. Right.
A
But what other choice do you have? At a certain point, we're like, if we got to fight them, we're going to give more time to build this. Like, I'd rather fight you before you're ready. But again, God's not going to let that happen. But if I were the other side, I'd want to be like, if me and. Me and Ed have a fight in eight weeks, I want to fight Ed. If I'm.
C
If I'm like, I don't want to wait eight weeks.
A
I'm fighting you tomorrow.
C
Yeah.
B
Before you get some weights.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
Go ahead. Get some training, Ed, and come back and kill me.
C
It's like, no, let's start this right now.
A
Yeah. Certainly a technique there as well. Yeah.
C
I don't know, though.
A
I don't know which one's being used, and I don't.
C
Well, it almost doesn't matter because whatever they're going to use is going to fail, which is probably a really horrifying paradox to be in if you are, you know, part of this adversarial spirit and you are operational enough to understand the great big picture. But it probably sucks a lot.
A
It brings me to that, the idea that I want to get to again. We're like an hour in. I'm. I'm making these excuses to keep this thing going. This, the Earth, and, you know, what we can do for our kids and the life that they'll have. And somebody would argue. Other people argue and say, well, why do you want to exist on this plane anyway? Like, Satan owns this whole thing. Yeah. And so you want to be here? You want to. You want to drag this out because this is kind of nice, or this is just what you're used to. And I'm like, I don't. I guess maybe that's what I'm used to. And I don't want the suffering. But we don't have our. Then I don't have my eye on eternity. But the idea of Satan owning this thing and it being. It's going to be miserable de facto is. Is not a possibility. Then, like, what. What would you. What do you come here to talk about, Ed?
B
Yeah, so we'll talk about that. Let me just address that one. One issue first. Like, what should we be doing? Well, Jesus gave us a great commission. We're to go out and make disciples of all men. So what was supposed to happen? And God knew it wouldn't, but he has to give us the opportunity. What was supposed to happen is we were supposed to make disciples of. Of all. And then we would push Satan all the way back. And God, you know, I don't want to get into. I use the word dispensations. People are like dispensationals. All this stuff's attached to it now. But God deals with us differently in different eras. Whenever someone says there's no such thing as dispensationalism, and I will ask, okay, well, when was the last time you attempted to eat from the tree of the garden of. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? Well, I wasn't. Oh, well, then you're not in the same thing. So God's not dealing with you the same way he dealt with Adam and Eve. He's dealing with you differently. You're not under the law, the Jew, the ancient Israelites were under the law. You're not under it. So there are different eras. In this era of the Church, what was supposed to happen is that we make disciples of all men. The Holy Spirit lives in all of us. And that is. And we obey the Holy Spirit perfectly. And that's how we could actually be what God wants us to be. But it's, you know, God knew it wouldn't he? Again, he knows our tendencies, but he. And he knew eventually would fail. And that's how he. That's why he has the wrath reserved for, you know, for that. But we have the chance. We have. We have that open opportunity to do this. So what we should be doing is trying to make disciples of everyone. It doesn't matter if. If we think it's going to work in the long term. That's not our job. Our job is to make disciples. So get back. Getting back to what you were just saying. I guess the main point. Oh, I want to just say one more thing just on the prophecy side, because for something we talked about before the show, about how God can prophesy and. And without knowing everything and even, even a prophecy, a prophet. The definition of prophecy is making, predicting the effects based on the cause. And so God can do that, but the cause, but the effects can change. And the great example of that that I gave before the show was Jonah. Yeah. When God sent Jonah to the Ninevites, what was his message, his prophecy? He said, tell the Ninevites, in 40 days comes destruction. That was a prophecy. So, you know, obviously, Job, Jonah took a circular path to get to Nineveh. But what did he do? He said he just walked through the streets, prophesied, in 40 days comes your destruction. What did the Ninevites do. They had free will. They say, well what if we. And they made this. God didn't say if you repent, I'm going to stop it. He just said, you're getting destroyed. The Ninevites on their own said, well maybe if we repent, you know, God will have mercy on us. So they repented as a whole nation and God had mercy on them. So they didn't get destruction in 40 days. Does that means God that I mean God Light when he said they were getting destruction in 40 days or did God or what were they going to be destroyed? But then through their free will they changed that prophecy. God wasn't lying. God was going to destroy them in 40 days. But they said through their free will we're going to repent. And God honored that. So that's just another example of that. All right, so last point on that. So let's go to. Does Satan have authority over the earth legally? No, he does not. But let's talk about why people believe that. And there are probably, there are three main areas and I talked about two of them in my, in the Q and A I just put on Patreon and someone actually contacted me earlier today and pointed out one that I missed. And he was right. So I'm gonna talk about all three. The first one is the idea that when Adam sinned, he gave his legal authority over the earth to Satan. And I was, I grew up being taught this and believing it that God gave Adam the sovereignty. He, Adam and Eve were the legal king and queen of the earth because they were image bearers. They bore the image of God. They creation obeyed Adam as if he was God, like the hand of the king in Game of Thrones. When Adam fell, he no longer bore the image of God. And so he gave that up. You know, he unintentionally gave that up. But that didn't transfer the same. There was no exchange of legal title. That didn't happen. But that's just an assumption that we have based on nothing. How do we know that Satan is not the legal guardian guard of, excuse me, the legal owner of the earth? Because Satan doesn't bear the image of God. Satan is not an image bearer. Only an image bearer of God has that can have that legal authority because that's, that those, that was the, the, the setup that God gave you. If you're image bearer, you have dominion over the earth. Adam lost that when he sinned. Satan didn't become the nakash. The serpent did not become an image bearer. He. No, he didn't so who, who has legal authority? Jesus. Why? Because when he died and rose again, he said, all power in heaven and earth is given to me. Jesus is an image bearer. So he had that legal authority. So what's going on right now? Well, he hasn't claimed the earth yet. It's like, you know, when you buy a house, it's in escrow. You own it, but you haven't claimed it yet. You know. Yeah, we're all, you know, all property owners. So you know that when you buy a property as an escrow, while some things are happening, being things being worked out, and then you own it later. So you. Right now, the earth is in escrow. So then the question is, well, why does Satan have so much influence? Well, well. And who owns the earth now? Well, again, well, Jesus has legal ownership, but before Jesus, the earth didn't have a legal owner. If you look in Revelation, chapter four. Excuse me, excuse me. Chapter five, when God has that scroll that's still with seven seals, that's a legal document. That is the title deed to the earth that no one has claimed yet. God's just holding it. And that's what happened when Adam gave it. And of course, Jesus comes. He's the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. He takes it and he opens it, and that's when revelation starts. That's basically Jesus kidding, kicking the squatters off of his property so he can claim it. But right now, the earth is the Wild West. And who has control in the Wild West? Well, whoever has the most guns, whoever has the biggest. Whoever the biggest. So I gave. I gave the analogy of, like, you know, when I. I grew up in South Central la, rough area, lived with my grandmother for. For a few years there. And there was a park across the street from my grandmother's house. In the daytime we play in the park, but at night you had to leave because that's when the street gangs, the Crips, would come in and they would sell their drugs there. You didn't go there? No, they didn't own that park. That park was owned by the city. And when the police would come, the Crips would run like they were scattered like roaches. But. But if you tried to go in there on their territory, you get messed up. But they didn't own it. It's the same thing with Satan and the fallen angels. They don't own the earth, but we have given him the authority. So the. So this, the other verse that people use is when I think it's Second Corinthians, When Paul refers to Satan indirectly, honestly, because it doesn't say Satan in the original translation. It says the God of this world has blinded people, so forth and so on. So people say, okay, the God of this world that's implied to be Satan. So he. So if he's the God of this world. Yes, he's a God of this world because he is worshiped, not because he has legal authority, but he has the influence because we corporately have given him that influence. We walk in his path, not in the path of God. Most of the world walks in the path of. Yeah, see? Yeah, it doesn't say Satan, but that's the implication. So that's why. So he doesn't have. And how do we know this? Because Paul knew that Jesus had already died and rose again. So why would Paul say that Satan has legal authority? If say, if Paul knows that Jesus has the authority, he's just saying no, he has the influential authority because we've given it to him. But if we withdraw it corporately, then he'd have no power. Satan does not have that power. He only has the power that we give him. This is something we talk about a lot in the spiritual warfare club, right?
C
Yeah. This because the idea that he doesn't have any power that isn't legally given to him because of the things that you've, because of your own iniquity that you've chosen to partake in.
B
What does the book of James say? Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.
C
Right.
B
What kind of world ruler runs from you if you fight him?
C
Yeah.
B
So if you're a Christian, you are more powerful than, than Satan himself because you have the Holy Spirit within you. Not because of your own power, but because of the spirit of God that lives within you. That's. So you're one average Christian. You, me, we're more powerful than Satan. He only has the power to give him through the covenants we were talking about before. So the final piece that people use, which one of my members brought up is during the temptations of Jesus when the third, I think he had the last temptation when, when Satan says, you know, if you. He takes him to a high mountain, shows him all the kingdoms of the world and he says, which by the way, shows that Satan is extra dimensional because he was able to show Jesus all the, all them at once. They were in a spirit, spirit, realm, realm during that time. He says, these are all mine and I can give them to whoever I want. If you bow down and worship me, I'll Give them to you. And people say, well, that must be true because Jesus didn't refute Satan. Well, two things to keep in mind. Number one, Satan is a liar. The truth is not in him. He is not capable of telling the truth. And what did I say what the truth was earlier? The truth is the truth. Definition of truth is a right what a right fact with a right how and why with right context. Deception is a right fact with either no, no how or why or the wrong how or why. So what Satan did was he, he said these, these worlds have, all the nations have been given. To me, that's technically true in the sense that God put the, put his 70 Elohim, his counsel over the nations in Deuteronomy 32. But they all fell because they became worshiped, because they got worshiped. And somewhere along the lines, I think we see, this is why we have, you know, wars, people battling back and forth because these other entities were trying to get other nations under them. And at some point Satan became, if there was like a battle royale, he came out on top and he got the influence over the nations, but it wasn't legal authority. He just said so he wasn't telling the whole truth. And secondly, why didn't Jesus refute him if that's, if he was lying? Because this is something we're going to talk about in our spiritual warfare, of course, probably next month. When you are in spiritual warfare, you don't have conversations with these entities. You don't get into arguments with them, them, command them. You use the Bible and you make commands. Jesus never got into a conversation with these things. He always commanded them. So he's not going to say, well, no, say you don't really have. No, he. That's not how you do spiritual warfare. Jesus just said he quotes the Bible. You will, you know, that you should worship God and him only shall you serve.
C
So in, in arguments, especially if, if you're dealing with somebody who is trying to work their way into a position of victory and if they're being deceptive, it's a game of inches, right? Like everything that you say to them opens up another avenue for them to try to, well, what about this or what about that? It's almost like you want to talk about the legality of it. Well, Jesus don't talk to the cops.
A
Jesus responds exactly that way, exactly in a physical sense, like the cops. When he's being questioned by Pilot, he's giving him a, he's asking him questions and he goes, well, you said that. And then he Asked him some other questions he doesn't answer.
C
Yeah, it's like dealing with self evidence. It's these, these spiritual concepts always have some mirrored physical version in our reality. And in that instance, it is very much like not talking to the police because.
B
Yeah.
C
You know, you're dealing with. If we talked about the adversary. Right. Or Satan or. Or the accuser. It's like, that's like getting into a conversation with a prosecutor.
B
Yep. You don't do it. The lawyers know more. They know the law better than you do.
C
Yeah. So it's like, don't even, don't even talk to him. Plead the 5th and don't even talk to him at all. You know?
B
Perfect. Yeah. Perfect analogy. That's what we talk. That's what we're teaching in. In the spiritual warfare classes, how to do spiritual warfare the way Jesus did. Because he's our model. He did it perfectly. How did he do it? He did not converse with them. Because like you just said, Raven, when you, when you give them an inch, if you start conversing with them, think about this with, like, the confidence we make. What if. If an oppressive spirit comes upon you and says, you know, you're. You're never going to be. You're never going to be rich. You say, well, I could be. When have you ever been rich? Well, you know, I've had money before. Yeah, but you always lose it. Well, okay, but what if I did this?
A
Yeah.
B
I don't ever work for you. You can't win. They know more than you.
C
Yeah, you don't.
B
You cast them out. You say, I am. You know, I'm blessed and favored by. By the. By God, you know, I could do all things to Christ, to Christ who strengthens me, so forth and so on. But you don't get into a conversation because you're going to lose. They know the law better than you.
C
And that's exactly it. This is what Matt was talking about where, Where Satan says, is it not written? And then, you know, Jesus says, it is also written. And it's like, this is. This is exactly what happens when you talk to a cop and they go, well, actually, you just said that you were doing this, and you're like, but. But I also said
B
I was doing some other.
C
And unless you're. Unless you're Jesus, you know, and you're. You're that good, maybe it's best to, you know, shut your mouth and only speak directly. Get out of here.
A
Yeah, I'm gonna call my lawyer and
C
your lawyer, Jesus, your lawyer is Jesus
B
Yeah, you shut the hell up. Because, you know, my wife and I be kind of. We. Well, my wife more than me. It's really into some of the cop shows, and we love seeing, like, the cops are like, really good interrogators, and they know what to do. They. They know. They know this. This routine better than you, better than you have done it hundreds of times. And they know how to trap you, how to say the right things, and. And you don't have a conversation, you say lawyer.
C
Yeah. And that's. That's really what you know when you talk about human nature or. Or God knows our nature, and certainly Satan knows our nature, and he uses it against us. If you just let us talk, like, we'll. We'll. We'll shoot ourselves in the foot, give us enough rope, and we'll end up hanging ourselves. Right? That's.
B
Yeah.
C
One of the things they always do in the cop shows is just like, yeah, just let them. Just let them.
A
I've learned as. Like, with this show, I guess. And the shows that I've done previously, where a lot of people. I'll read in the chat, sometimes they go, top was real quiet, this show. And I'm like, yep. I'm just listening and almost it's a
C
smarter thing than what I do, which is I can't shut the fuck up. You learn how to, like, there's no filter from here to here. And. And I've made a lot of mistakes in my youth.
A
Some people that, like, I'm not going to challenge people on the show, but. And I'm not gonna with Ed, obviously, as a friend. So any. Any questions I have for you is always like. I'm like. I want to clarify, but, like, some people have come on, and I'm like, you're feeding me a line of, yeah, okay, talk. And then when they talk, I go, what else? Yeah, like, quiet. You keep talking. You dig?
C
Yeah.
A
And I'm gonna say. And then at the end, I'll be like, all right, well, what happened? You know what I mean? It's. It behooves me better to. Than. Than to, like, accuse you or even give you a rope. Like, sometimes if, like, by speaking, I'm. I'm gonna give this person a rope to pull themselves out.
B
Right.
A
Well, what are we really saying here?
B
My Jewish lawyers. Well done. Well played.
C
Laney with the banger. Absolutely, though, man.
B
Yeah.
C
It just. It never ce. Pays me the. The legality of the spiritual realm and how it's so.
A
Tony does that a lot too. It's a Brutal technique that I, I kind of picked up.
C
Oh, just let him go.
A
And it's not, I don't think Merkel doesn't, Merkel doesn't do it to, to necessarily interrogate because a lot of the times it's a, it's an interview process. But he does it because sometimes if, if there's an absence of words, that next person is going to tell me more.
C
Yeah, well, what's the idea? Sometimes, especially in, in business relations, the first one to talk about is the first one who loses. It's like a conceding of ground. And so you, you put a thing out there and then whoever, whoever engages with that first, whoever gets so uncomfortable that they have to.
B
So I'm giving you a counter move to that as well. And this is something that. John's an expert on this. Maybe we'll talk about it. But when he's down here, and that is because sometimes you aren't sure if the voice you're hearing is the voice of the Holy Spirit or if it's a voice of something else. You know, how do I discern? And I need to engage to see if this is really from God or not. Start asking questions. Because when you ask questions, they're going. That's another way they reveal themselves. You talk about the cops. The cops are just going to ask you questions and they're going to. And they'll figure you out. Do the same thing when you're not sure which energy is talking to you. Ask questions if you're not getting an answer back, because God will answer you. God, the Holy Spirit will answer. They want. He wants to communicate with you. He wants to fellowship with you. So he will either he will answer you. The, the bad guys either won't answer you or they'll ask or they'll show who they really are that you're getting from them. So ask questions. Someone you hear like, you shouldn't go there. Why shouldn't I go there?
C
Right.
B
Well, because. Blah, blah, blah. Well, then ask another question. Yes, like, you know, three or four questions. Okay, well, it's bad. Why is it bad? Well, because there's someone there who you shouldn't see. Who, who shouldn't. I just keep asking questions. And you'll eventually get to, you know, to the actual, the purpose behind it.
C
It, it's great because you're never incriminating yourself either.
A
Well, yeah, but on the flip side of that, I went through that with the, the orthodox people with. That was the guy, Jim Bob.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
And he was like, I'M aware of the tech, that technique. I do it sometimes, too, and. But I'm. I'm being earnest. I'm like, yo, what are you guys doing over here? Charging for baptism. What is this? You know, and he's asking me questions, and I go, all right, here's an answer. And then he asked me another question. I go, okay, I see what you're doing.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
What you're doing is you're. You're trying to slip me up, because you can use that in. In a way to get to truth, or you can use that in a deceptive manner to do.
C
Just do debate. And what it is, is you realizing, like.
A
And then when you do that, I'm like, okay, now I'm gonna answer you in a way that you don't know how to deal with, but it's.
C
It crashes you from ever having to put anything on the line. Right? Yeah, you never have to put anything on the line.
B
You're not. Right. But what you do is as I. When I. When I've dealt with that and I have before, I try to ask some clarifying questions, I'll say, okay, what does that mean? Yeah, yeah, you know what? Okay, then what is baptism?
A
Then they ask you a question back, and I go, okay, now I'm just gonna pull your pants down.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
And they don't like that. But I'm like, okay, okay. So to the crowd, if you're not tuned into what just happened here, I look like an. But if you know the techniques, I go, no, no. This guy is not dealing earnestly in a conversation. So what I did was just. I just took the floor out from there, and we're both falling now. And it's like, okay, yeah, I'm comfortable falling.
B
Yeah.
A
Are you comfortable?
C
And they panic.
A
They get mad. I'm like, exactly, yeah.
C
So just.
B
Yeah, as an aside, I had some. One of the Orthodox people come because I made a few little quips about the Orthodox folks on the show. And one of them, like, reached out to me, and he was like, well, you know, the early church fathers, they're the ones that knew how to do church.
A
They're great people, too. I love so many of these people. But, like, it gets frustrating. I just want to say that nobody
B
said to me, you know, the Orthodox, the church fathers who were around two, 300 years before, after, you know, Christ, they're the ones who knew. I said, okay, well, so you're. So what you're telling me is that people who were closer to the time of Christ know how to do church better and we should follow them. Great. When did Paul write his letter to the churches at Corinth?
C
Yep.
B
Oh, 20 years afterwards. What were those letters about? They were screwing up. They were saying that people who spoke in tongues were better than other Christians who didn't speak in tongues. The people. The church at the Galatians, they were trying to get people back under the law. The church at Rome, they were teaching replacement theology. You had to. That's why you had to Write Romans chapters 9, 10 and 11. So if you're telling me that 20 years, 20 to 30 years after Jesus was here, the churches were screwing up to the point where a third of the New Testament is Paul telling them, you guys are screwing up, here's how you get it right. Why do you believe that? Church fathers 2, 3, 400 years later got it right. So, yeah, then you see that what their agenda is. Your agenda is you want to follow men over God.
A
And an interesting thing there too is one of the things that the pastor at the church. Well, I think this is the music pastor at the church. Just bring it up. Yesterday was about Acts, I think chapter one, where they're referring to the 120 in that. That come to meet. And they don't refer to them as people, they refer to them as names. Mason, you gotta leave.
B
Get out of here.
C
Mason. Get out of here. Do you want me to trap you
B
guys back in the song?
C
No, I don't. Thank you for opening the doors, Mason.
A
They refer to them as names, which means that they are familiar with these people. And this is the original church. These 120 people, whoever they're talking to, I think this is like right when they're going to the upper room, they know them not whatever is happening after. Like the, the churches that are. The first church was like, they don't. They knew. They knew Peter. They knew. I don't know. These guys, whoever. These were, the, the churches that they're writing the letters to a couple years later, they knew them. Well, these are the churches. That's what it looked like. And they all still messed up anyway.
B
Yeah, they still did. I mean, the, the only. Only like the first part of Acts do we have the church doing what it was supposed to do. And that's why you had miracles happening. But again, within, within 20 years, it maybe even less. But I'm just being generous. But within 20 years, the church was like, they were. They were screwing up. And Paul had to come back and say, I just, I was just here. I gave you guys the Gospel message and now I got to write you letters because you're already going back to the old ways and make it about you and I'm making it about Jesus. So yeah, again that's just my thing on orthodoxy. So I think the other thing I just wanted to talk about a few things about. About say not just so he's not the. He's not the legal owner. He is, he's. He is the Elohim of this age. The God of this age because he's being worshiped. But I think I said before that he is not. He was not the entity that was in the book of Job that the Hasatan again job title. We don't isn't here's thing that's really interesting. We don't know the name of the entity we call Satan. We know titles. God never gives us his name. Go back to the Garden of Eden, the Nakash, you know, which is translated serpent. It means the shining one. That's a title. Lucifer isn't a name. Lucifer is just the Latin of Halal Binchakar. Halal Binchekar is a Hebrew means light bearer, son of the first light. That's what he's called. Halal is, is Lucifer. It just means light bearer. It's not a name, it's a title. Devil accuser. Not a name. It's a title. We even dragon again. So we are given his name. So why aren't we given the name of this energy? This is something we talk about, we're going to talk about in our spiritual warfare class. Because names imply covenant. God did not give his covenant name Yahweh, Y H W H Yehovah, Jehovah, whatever you want to how you however you want to pronounce it. Until the Israelites were in the were coming out of the Exodus he gave it to Moses. He said specifically no one knew my name before. Now Abraham didn't, Noah didn't. Yeah, they didn't know his name. So something about having a name implies a covenant. And I think that the reason that God doesn't give the names of any of these bad angels we have some of them in in the pseudo pic book of Enoch. But in the Bible the only names are given are Michael and Gabriel. But they're good angels. I think that having a name had is a two way covenant. And even Satan does not want to give his name out because he doesn't want to be in covenant. It's a really interesting thing that we can maybe talk about in another show because I'm still working through that. But now some of the demons, we can get names. Excuse me, got Jesus asked the demon his name, Legion. And that's when Jesus was able to cast it out. So there's something about the different hierarchy of the, of the demons because they're, they're the disembodied spirit of Nephilim. But these angels, we don't know their names.
C
And is this so? Partly could be a strategic move on their behalf because there is some level of authority granted to you, if you can call it by name.
B
Yeah.
C
And if these are the, the higher, you know, in the, in the ranks of the adversary things that are in alignment with the spirit of Satan, you know, to be able to cast out a lower level demon, not great for the demon, but obviously something that could be done if you're, if you are in alignment with Jesus Christ. It would be massively, you know, to their disadvantage to know the names of the. I mean it's almost the same thing. Right. If you, if you knew the names of the generals or the location of the generals in a, in a foreign army, well then to hit them there would be destabilizing to the entire regime, as it were. Right. So there's a lot of strategic advantages to keeping that obscured from us.
B
My hypothesis is too, is I think the fallen angels don't want us to know their names because they don't want us to, as you just said, have that understand their, their locality. And also on the other side, God. I think God knows that we couldn't handle it, we're not equipped for it. And also we would worship them more than we already do.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
C
That's interesting. That's interesting. Yeah. Because Solomon, if you, if you believe in the Solomonistic magic and the sigils and everything, I think probably in order to create the sigils that are going to, you know, allegedly trap the demons and have them do your bidding, you would need their names in order to do.
A
Might be their name.
C
Right. Could be their names. Right.
B
Or something similar. Because we're given a lot of names of entities. I don't think those are real names. Like, you know, like, like Dagon, like, like Molech, like, you know, Beelzebub.
A
Sure.
B
I don't, I think that, you know, I think a lot of them are the same person. I think because you know, you have Baals, a storm God. Zeus is also the storm. Baals is a storm God of the Canaanites, I believe, or what's the Phoenicians, one of the two. And then Zeus was Was the storm God of.
C
Of the.
B
Of the Greeks. And Odin or Thor was the storm God in the Norse mythology. This is the same entity, different names.
C
Yeah.
B
But I don't think it's their true given name. They're the name that they were given when they were created by God.
A
Those ones I think we've. We've traced back to Azazel possibly.
C
Well, I know.
A
Because of this.
B
Yeah. It's another name that was given there. But that's. But then the question is, is that a name or is it another. There's a back and forth as to whether that's an actual name.
C
It actually layers and layers.
A
It's interesting, too, because Jesus has this proclivity to rename people too.
B
Yeah.
A
Give you a nickname and it's kind of like.
C
Yeah,
A
yeah, yeah, yeah. It's. Is that like a cover or.
C
It does make a lot of sense, though, this obfuscation of the name, considering if you observe them, if you do believe that like Bal Hadad, the Sumerian storm God, is the same entity as. As Zeus and. And so on and so forth. Well, there's an obfuscation constantly, a changing of the name. And that's, that's actually pretty consistent with what we've kind of determined about the entire phenomenon. And even as it applies to aliens, why renames.
A
I'm sorry? Rebranding.
C
Rebranding.
B
Yeah.
C
But it's, It's.
A
It's done on the other side as well. Right. It's. It's. There's a rebranding that we look at. We're always looking at the dark. Yeah, the dark.
C
Abram goes to Abraham. Sarah was.
B
Well, what happened? Yeah, what. They did well with Abraham and Sarah. What? God actually added a breath.
C
Aha.
B
The Holy Spirit. So Abram comes Abraham.
C
Oh, that's interesting.
B
There. I. Sarah becomes Sarah. So he added the breath of the Holy Spirit to. To them. So in those particular cases.
C
That's interesting because I wondered about that. I was like, that's barely a variation in spelling.
B
But it's also your nature. Go ahead. I'm sorry, Top.
C
Go ahead.
A
From soul to Paul. I mean, I understand you're a new person, but you're given a different name. And it's just like.
C
Yeah, they do that in Catholicism. When you, when you make your communion orthodox. Yeah.
A
They give you a name of a saint as well.
B
The popes are all, you know, that's not their. You know, the pope, Leo. He's a current one. Yeah. His name isn't Leo the Pope. Francis. His name was Was like Rodrigo or something or other or something like that. So. Yeah. So they take on the things. Say again.
A
No, I was just saying it's interesting.
C
Yeah.
B
Here's something that's also interesting that if you. I think. I think it's in the letter to the Church of Philadelphia where God says that, you know, he's going to give them a new name that no one else knows. So we. So, so we, the church, we're going to end. So my. Ed Raven Top. Our name. These aren't our names. We're going to be given our true name. And what is the true name is your true nature. That's what it's all about. Like, perhaps the Jesus name in. In. In Hebrew is Yehoshua, which means Jehovah is salvation. That's his nature. That's why he had that name, Yehoshua. So we're going to be given a name that no one knows but us, because it is our nature that God knows. So. So he's going, when we get to heaven or to New Jerusalem, which will happen first in New Jerusalem, after, we're going to be. I think maybe the first thing he does is say, this is who you are. This is your name, and I'm going to give it to you. No one knows it but you.
C
Your name.
A
My name is already.
B
Well, you know, Jacob in Israel, Jacob means. No, it means he'll catch. It means usurper. But he changed his name to Israel, which means the prince, or one who can. Who contends with God. But notice that he goes back and forth. Whenever Jacob is acting like a fool, he's. He's back to being Jacob. But when he's being a prince before God, then he's Israel.
C
Oh, that's interesting. So somebody in the chat, John McClure, said, In terms of frequency and vibration, a name is specific.
A
As such, I think that too. This is like when we were naming our. Both of our kids, we named him my son Oliver. And I was thinking about, what do I like when people see this name on a resume? If resumes exist still.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't want them to look at it and go. Because I've done that. I've done that with some resumes. I'm like, this guy's name is great. Like, dude.
B
Yeah. Like, you want it strong?
C
Yeah.
B
It's very much the thing in my community. I'm not gonna name my son, you know, my Lakeisha, or I'm not gonna name him, you know.
A
Yeah. I came across a name called Ladasha.
C
It's a Love dash, like the symbol dash.
A
And then a. And I'm like, I simply cannot do this.
C
Yeah. When you're dealing with so many resumes, too.
A
Go with John.
C
Whatever the.
B
Yeah. You guys ever watch. If you ever watch, you know, Key and Peel, one of their famous skits is like. When they were, like, doing football player names in college, they had all these crazy names. It's hilarious. But that's.
A
That's about the path that you're gonna get with Laquastius Johnson or something like that.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think that's what he said, right?
A
It better be a good defensive end or something.
B
Yeah, yeah. What was it? Oh, it was. It was the Bricashaw Ferguson. Yeah. He called appeal and said, dude, that's an actual name. And that's how they. That's how they came the skit. Like the Brickishaw Fergus. Are you kidding me?
C
So funny. Dude.
A
Mookie Wilson is a baseball player. Somebody named their kid. And this is crazy, too, another baseball player. They named him Milton Bradley.
C
Yeah.
A
After, like. Not if you named your kid before that.
C
It would have been okay.
B
You'd be okay.
A
Oh, you got a kid and your last name is Muhammad, and you name him Muhammad? Guys, what are we doing?
B
Yeah, dude, there's a baseball player named Coco Crisp.
A
Coco Crisp. Come on. He's a good baseball player. That's probably the only life choice he had. So when I named my kids, I was like, I just want to set them up where. Especially when people say their name, they say Oliver. It sounds strong. It sounds dominant. You see? Layla. Layla means. It's. It's an Arabic name.
B
It means. Means dark beauty. Pretty name. Yeah, yeah.
C
And.
A
And I just want, like. Like when they say that name, give them as much chance as possible.
B
Yeah. Don't relegate them to only being able to be, like, a hairdresser.
C
I was driving the other day, and all of a sudden I. I said a word. I said reservation. And my wife goes, reservation. Reservation. That sounds like a name. Reservation.
B
You know, there's somebody in, like, Alabama 100.
C
100. There is that. You know.
A
You know, a girl named Mercedes is like, Keep her off the pole.
B
Mercedes or. Or Nikki.
C
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. Porsche.
B
Anything named after a car. Tercel.
C
Don't name the. Yeah, don't name your. Your kid.
A
You know, somebody named herself.
B
Yes.
A
Tercel's not even a good car.
C
Lexus is a good car.
B
Oh, my God. If your name is Lexus, what if we're screwed?
C
What if we already. We just, like, pop the Top on our second names. And. And God's like, yeah, it was going to be Top, Lobster and Raven. Dude, can't get a third one. Can I get a third one?
B
Well, it does say he'll give you a new name, so. Yeah, yeah.
C
Okay, good, good. We'll get a new one.
B
Maybe it'd be Crow instead of Raven. I don't know.
C
Probably it means the same thing. My last name is Corbo, which it is. It's like Italian in Spain. Corvo, which is Corvid, which is, you know, you stupid bird dude, man. All right, all right. So. So we're. We're bringing it in for. Is there anything else you want to hit before we do that?
B
No, I mean, like I said, I just want to. What I really want to do, my purpose in this was just to. To get people to understand that Satan is not more powerful than you. Don't give him more credit than he deserves or any of these fallen entities. You have the. As a Christian, you have the authority over them. Walk in that authority. You know, he's. He's not. Satan's not omnipresent. He's not all powerful. All he can do is deceive. And you need to understand that deception and. And just, you know, fight against it and know that he is a liar. He won't ever tell you the truth. So. So we can wrap up with that.
C
You know, one of these days I'll find the verse. I became aware of it. Maybe I'm misremembering it, but it was good names.
A
Thinking about it. A good. David.
C
David and Daniel. Yeah. I mean, I'm pumped about it. I like my name.
A
What does Edward mean?
C
I don't know.
A
Edward probably means something cool, too.
B
It probably does. Oh, yeah. Well, I think it's. I think the name is British, which makes me upset because Brits annoy me. Not all right. Because I asked someone, like, who's kind of hurt, and he says, dude, because I think we talked about before, like, how we get annoyed by Brits. And in one of my. One of my followers I was in Britain, he's like, I'm a good guy. I'm like, it was just, you know, just don't take it seriously.
A
Oh, I like, you know, I've been
C
annoyed by, like, wealthy garden or. I mean, wealthy guardian or prosperous protector is what, Edward?
B
Yeah, I'll take it.
A
Powerful, powerful name. You're speaking prophecy into what you'll do.
C
That's. And technically it's, you know, French, Spanish, Italian, so don't don't let him.
A
Daniel means God is my judge.
B
Yeah. Yes, yes. Yes, it does.
C
I think David means beloved.
A
Anyway, let me really quickly, what's been grinding my gears lately? The guy from Dexter's British. I've been watching this show that he's in.
C
I don't know why we let the dude be Spider man who's British.
A
What?
C
I know.
A
Tom Holland's British. Heartbreaking.
C
Yeah. It's very upset guy who played Rick
A
Grimes from Walking Dead.
C
Why? Why? Why? Yeah, I don't understand.
A
The guy from House. British.
C
I think we need.
B
Yeah, that one hurt because I was a huge fan. I loved House. That was like, come on.
A
Is there any Americans. Idris Elba's British. Is there any Americans I know?
B
How does this tiny island produce like 90 of our actors now?
C
I don't know. What.
A
Why are we letting them come?
C
Because they're still under the thumb of Great Britain.
A
We're letting them come here.
B
They sound like. You sound like Sam Tripoli.
C
Yeah. The British Empire.
A
I'm gonna create a campaign because, like, right now they're doing the Odyssey and you have.
C
Oh, dude, the girl's gonna be trash.
A
Yeah, the girl who is transgender playing.
C
Yeah.
B
Ellen. Well, not Elliot Page.
C
Yeah.
A
Okay. It's the same thing. We have good American actors here. Why are we bringing in Brits to do a fake American accent? It's deceptive.
C
Ellen Page. Hate it.
A
British, probably.
C
Oh, my God.
B
But go back. The guy who play. Who plays Dexter's a Brit.
C
Yeah. Really?
A
I almost fell off my seat.
B
I didn't know that. I thought I've heard him in interviews. I thought I heard him in interviews. Maybe I'm wrong.
A
Maybe his British accent is so good, but I'm pretty sure he's British. And it's up.
C
Let me tell you. Your mom just said it was either angel or Daniel, but when I called out angel, he did not respond. And when she said Daniel, you turned your head immediately. And if you're were a Puerto Rican dude named angel, who knows if this show would have happened?
A
Yeah. I'll tell you something after the show about this too. How funny that is.
C
But.
A
All right, all right.
C
Let's remind everybody before we get out of here, Ed. Where they can find your.
A
Your work.
B

B
Yeah, same.
A
All right, guys, until next time, don't forget to obey, submit and comply. We'll see you later.
B
Will do it again. The end is written in the book in the pages they forget. When the last trumpet sound in the heaven.
Date: July 16, 2026
Hosts: David L. Corbo ("Raven"/Top Lobsta), Top Lobsta
Guest: Ed Mabrie (FaithByReason.net)
This episode continues a dynamic, humorous, and theologically deep discussion with recurring guest Ed Mabrie, focusing on spiritual warfare, biblical prophecy, the nature of free will, the limits of divine omniscience, and the true status of Satan's authority in the world. The hosts mix comedy, personal stories, and scriptural analysis to critically examine theological traditions and confront common misconceptions, equipping Christians with tools for both intellectual and spiritual engagement.
“God is all knowing. That means God has all the information that exists… But what that means is he doesn't have access to information that does not exist… The choices we're going to make 10 minutes from now—God doesn't know that yet.” — Ed Mabrie ([11:00])
“When you make a covenant, you've given the dark forces legal right to do it... That's why every time you get a little bit of money, your car breaks down… you've given them permission to keep you in a poverty state.” — Ed Mabrie ([23:17])
“Satan is not more powerful than you... As a Christian, you have authority over him. Walk in that authority.” — Ed Mabrie ([90:56])
This episode is a signature blend of bold, comedic, and deeply researched Christian theology, challenging listeners to critically examine doctrines on spiritual warfare, God's nature, prophecy, and the place of evil. Ed Mabrie’s practical advice, scriptural illustrations, and the hosts’ accessible banter make complex ideas both clarifying and empowering for believers. The episode concludes with reflections on names, identity, occult power, and the hope for victory through Christ’s authority.
