Jimbo
Oh, wow.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You good?
Jimbo
Yeah, this feels great.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Show my blouse tough.
Jimbo
Yeah, there we go. So do you have these custom made or is this gifted? How does this work?
Katya Zamolodchikova
I get kind of both. My. My friend Michi, like, makes them for me, just like whenever. Whenever something happens that I become obsessed with. So this is. Isn't that great? I love.
Jimbo
Have you ever seen Flash happening here?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Flash Gordon is a. Is a movie. And then there's this scene where this princess is getting tortured and they say, bring in the boarworms. And she says, no, not the boreworms. But then T.S. madison, her. Her line reading on that is not the boarworms. She makes it super sexual, and she said it about 1500 times when she was on the pod. So now I'm obsessed with it.
Jimbo
And so what happens when the boarwor we.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Something bad, but we never really see it. They never. You never see the bore worms, but something really bad, it's. It's an extreme form of torture that really turns.
Jimbo
How many do you think you could take at once?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Probably four.
Jimbo
Oh, yeah. Oh, okay.
Katya Zamolodchikova
One in each hole.
Jimbo
Oh, you'll be infested.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, infested. Okay. Well, welcome to the Bald and the Beautiful. We've got a very special guest today. It's Jimbo.
Jimbo
That's right, J.
Katya Zamolodchikova
The mononymous.
Jimbo
Yes. Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Is that how you say it?
Jimbo
I didn't know that. I've never heard that word.
Katya Zamolodchikova
One name monomous, like eponymous is like something named after you.
Jimbo
Is that true too? You have been reading the dictionary. What is going on? Jesus Christ. I need to catch up on my big words.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Is that right? Mononymous.
Jimbo
Mononymous. Okay, cool. So alcoholic monogram. So alcoholics. Mononymous would be for people that. One name, one problem.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Cher, Madonna, Jimbo. Jimbo. But was Jimbo always your name?
Jimbo
Well, I was born James, and then. I know. But then basically my dad used to call me Jimbo and used to sing this little song for me. And so that was kind of a nickname growing up. And then when I moved out west to the west coast of Canada to be with my then boyfriend at the time, Hank Pine, he loved having names for. For his friends. He would kind of rename people that he loved. And. And so he. He liked to call me Jimbo or Jimmy. And so he started introducing me around as Jimbo. And I really like that. I really like. I like the familiarity of a nickname.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Sure.
Jimbo
It feels kind of like people Are kind of surprised because, oh, we're already there and we're friends. Yeah, I like that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I like nicknames, too. Yeah.
Jimbo
I think it's awesome. And I think there's weird. There's a weird line that is kind of arbitrary when you get to call someone their nickname. And so it's kind of fun to just skip it and go, let's just be there now.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Instead of. It's like you skip the handshake and just go to the crotch.
Jimbo
Right Straight to the bj.
Katya Zamolodchikova
What's your.
Jimbo
Nick, what's your nickname?
Katya Zamolodchikova
When I was in sixth grade, they called me Fat Boy. Oh, I was skinny.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And it was very endearing. It was so strange because. And I loved it because ob. I was not. It was like an opposite kind of thing.
Jimbo
A fat boy. Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Fat Boy. And it was strange. But I was talking to somebody about Canada yesterday, and where do you.
Jimbo
Where.
Katya Zamolodchikova
If I had to move to Canada, and I'm looking for some place kind of cheap, but we're really nice with, like, good weather.
Jimbo
Right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Where would you suggest that?
Jimbo
I don't know. If you get all three of those in Canada.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay, okay.
Jimbo
Okay. Could you maybe two out of two out of three? I think you could do two out of three in most places in Canada. Most of the bigger places. Vancouver, Victoria, the West coast, you get the mountains, you get the oceans, you get the, you know, wildlife and all that beautifulness. And not to say that Canada isn't filled with wildlife, but certainly on the west coast is more outdoor living, more outdoor lifestyle, and you kind of encounter and you kind of are put into that wildlife scenario more often. Okay, then say in Montreal or Toronto, Very urban, but still very beautiful. Great culture. Way more gay out there.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Expensive.
Jimbo
I think they're all.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's all kind of.
Jimbo
Kind of run the gamut. It's kind of like, you know, where are you going to go? But I. I would say there's a little something for everyone.
Katya Zamolodchikova
The. When I was in high school, I was. I wanted to go to McGill University.
Jimbo
Oh, in Ottawa.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's not that. It's Montreal.
Jimbo
No, it is. I was testing. Okay, let's see. Did you really want to go there?
Katya Zamolodchikova
You lying fat.
Jimbo
All right, fat boy.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, my God.
Jimbo
Yeah, because he wanted to go to Montreal.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Because. And I. It's like a. I think it's like a bilingual school.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. And Oui.
Jimbo
Oh, wow. Okay. Well, that's my friends. I was hoping you're gonna say no. No, merci.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, I do. And I. Oh, wait, Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Jimbo
You're getting a message.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I'm getting a message. I have to. You have to forgive me for this.
Jimbo
My grandma's here.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I have to go.
Jimbo
You have to go. That diarrhea is kicking.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I had. I had pulverizing diarrhea before, just 20 minutes ago.
Jimbo
I think that's the definition of diarrhea, though. It's always pulverized, isn't it?
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's. It was. It was excavating. It was.
Jimbo
So you're cleaned right out.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It was. It was like archaeological.
Jimbo
Is this a plug for your probiotics?
Katya Zamolodchikova
It was rotten.
Jimbo
But, but, but tell me about it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But that's not the thing I was going to invite. I have to tell you about my dream. I'm so sorry. Oh, I'm so sorry to everybody.
Jimbo
From diarrhea to dreams.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Two things that nobody ever wants to hear about.
Jimbo
That should be a memoir title. From Diarrhea to dream.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Dreams of diarrhea. No, no, but wait. I have to tell you, and I'm gonna hold you hostage and I'm gonna hold the listeners hostage. They can tune out if they want to, but I don't care. I had a dream that Madonna robbed me of.
Jimbo
What?
Katya Zamolodchikova
So, no, she'd hired. There were three henchmen that broke into my house and she coordinated.
Jimbo
Was one of them Bob the Drag Queen?
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, no, no. They were. It was. It was like, very realistic. It was. They were all cracked. They were crackies.
Jimbo
Okay.
Katya Zamolodchikova
One of them even said to me, I smoke crack. And they started licking my face. Yeah. And then. And I was like. I had this three story apartment in New York, and they. The. I was like, some. Sounds like somebody's trying to get in. Go to the front door. I lock it. They. They break the door down and come in. And then it was super, super scary. And they just started collecting anything that had any kind of value.
Jimbo
Jesus. And so they had nothing.
Katya Zamolodchikova
They left empty handed. They left empty handed. And I. And I was like, wait a minute. And then Madonna came through and it was like she has this operation where she hires people. She has this, like, black market business where she sells things like, you know, like a TV or whatever, right? And it wasn't. She wasn't gonna hurt me or they weren't gonna hurt me or anything, but they were gonna take everything that I had and sell it. And she was in town for Fashion Week. Of course. It was perfect alibi.
Jimbo
She's busy.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. It was so. It was so weird. It was so.
Jimbo
Were you into it? Were you fetishizing it? No. Yes. Step on my balls to make my tv. Madonna.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No. When she came in, it was like. I was like. She was arguing with the landlord because there was so much damage to the apartment for the crackies. And then.
Jimbo
So how long have these crackies been in there? I thought they just showed up.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, no, no. It was after. It was after they had gathered all this stuff. Then Madonna came in to do, like, a supervisory, like, look through what you'd miss. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then we got into an argument about what her best album was, and she was like, ray of Light. That's what she said. That's what she said. And I was like. I was like, I prefer bedtime stories. And she tried to say that Bedtime Ray of Light was a perfect album. I was like, try again, bitch. It's like you have filler on all of your albums, right?
Jimbo
And her face.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Oh, truly. She was very. She was very puffy.
Jimbo
So she was the puffy version in your dream?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yes, she was. Well, there was a clip of her walking across the street on Instagram very recently with a wig and, like, this long coat. That was the version that showed up in the dream.
Jimbo
Oh, nice.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So it was just. Yeah, it was.
Jimbo
What does Madonna represent to you in the dream? Let's. Let's break this down.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I don't know. I don't know, Mommy. No, no. I mean, it was. It was like. Do you. Do you dream vividly?
Jimbo
I don't. I'm. I feel like I'm so excited to wake up that I just forget about the whole thing. I just am like, let's do this.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Do you ever have sex dreams?
Jimbo
I don't.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I know.
Jimbo
I don't know. Why. I tend to. I have a lot of sex.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay, so you don't.
Jimbo
The dreaming part. I tend to just hit the pillow. Bam, blackout.
Katya Zamolodchikova
That's great.
Jimbo
Wake up and just get going. I.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No problem sleeping, falling asleep. Insomnia.
Jimbo
I'm so. Go, go, go, go, go. I, like, keep my feet on the ground for as long as I can on the edge of my bed. Second I take them off.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So amazing.
Jimbo
I can't watch a show. I can't watch a TV thing. My partner is a gym. Oh, you're sleeping again.
Katya Zamolodchikova
That is so grand. So jealous. That's so awesome. That's so fierce.
Jimbo
You're not. While you're being tormented by Madonna in your fucking dreams. And crackheads licking your face, taking all.
Katya Zamolodchikova
My valuables, quote, unquote.
Jimbo
So were they licking your face? What were they licking your face for.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Well, they were just being very. Henchmen. You know what I mean?
Jimbo
They're toying with you.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, they were. They're being. They were tormenting me and.
Jimbo
But you liked the face leg.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, I didn't.
Jimbo
Okay?
Katya Zamolodchikova
I didn't. They. He. Like, they were very. They were like stock characters of unsavory henchmen. You know, bad guys. Yeah, bad guys with, like, brown teeth and, like, crooked eyeballs, you know? And it was like I kept grabbing my phone and trying to do 911. Like a text message to 911, and they would always slap it out of.
Jimbo
My hand, but they just forgot the number every time. Like, what?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Nine, two, one. It was weird. It was weird. Sorry, listeners, I don't know. Who the fuck cares about anybody's dream? Anything can happen. So who gives?
Jimbo
I think it's a window. It's a window into what torments you.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah.
Jimbo
And it's. I think social media. I think you should. You should log off.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I think you're absolutely right. I think you're right. I think you're right. It's.
Jimbo
I thought you were gonna have a sex dream about me and nothing. No, no, no, no, no. Let's get serious here. Absolutely not.
Katya Zamolodchikova
This episode is brought to you by ritual. If you've frequented a hot nightclub where everyone is dressed like a trapeze artist, or a restaurant that only serves food in the form of waffle cones, you've undoubtedly heard the word on the street. It seems like everyone is talking about the gut microbiome these days. When I was picking up my dry cleaning at the combination dry cleaner dialysis and artisanal mayonnaise store, I ran into my friend Gustavo, and lo and behold, Gustavo was chatting up with the salesperson about his gut microbiome. They went on and on about their flora and fauna and how the microbiome is key to our mental health, immunity, and, of course, digestion. When Gustavo was sharing his favorite probiotic almond butter, I had to interrupt to tell them all about ritual. I was like, hey, girlfriend, if you're looking for digestive support, ritual's got your back. Or rather, your biome. Get it? Your biome. It was at this point that I was met with blank stares. So I figured I'd drop some more knowledge. With symbiotic plus a 3 in 1 supplement of clinically studied pre, pro and postbiotics, you can help support a balanced gut microbiome with daily use. Do you know the difference between prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics? They sound super similar, but it's actually fascinating how they work together. Probiotics contain the live microorganisms themselves, the kind that make up a flourishing microbiome. Prebiotics contain the nutrients those microorganisms need, and postbiotics are natural byproducts that support the gut barrier. And it's not just me raving about how Ritual Symbiotic plus helped transform me from a gargoyle with a distended belly full of gas to the lean, mean, regular pooping machine you see before you today. Scientists are also praising ritual. In a study that modeled the human colon, Symbiotic plus increased the growth of beneficial bacteria and microbial diversity. It's designed with a delayed release capsule to help reach the colon, not the stomach, an ideal place for probiotics to survive and grow. All it takes is one daily mint scented capsule for simple, streamlined gut support plus. Computers and the Internet have changed the way we work, commute and live. So why, in the year of 2024, are we still operating within the concept of a pay cycle? I think it's the only time I can really remember at like, deeply laughing like, from drag. You know, I like Drag Race. Drag Race is great. We all love Drag Race. Love Drag Race, you know. But so often I feel like the. I don't want to watch drag queens fail. I don't want to watch them, like, unless it's funny. Yeah. But so often I feel like it's like, oh, it's like the shade button noise and it's like, I don't want to see people do badly. Right.
Jimbo
You don't want to see that real deep struggle.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. So when the Snatch Game of Love was on in. You fucking did Shirley Temple. It was like, oh, my God. I was like howling by myself in the. On just with my little computer in the, in the corner of the room. When you did that little dance, did it go on longer than what we saw?
Jimbo
I feel. It feels like it did. It feels like I didn't really know when to do it and how long to do it for, but I just, you know, I just took my moment. I was so terrified. There was so much buildup and lead up to that moment, and I didn't really know what I wanted to do. I was kind of going into it. I kind of had planned on being almost like Danny DeVito.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay.
Jimbo
But I didn't bring anything, really, to do it, except for a black leather jacket.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay.
Jimbo
And so.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Right.
Jimbo
And then I was gonna maybe be the guy from Police Academy.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Leslie Nielsen.
Jimbo
No, Bobcat Goldthwait. Bobcat Goldfield.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, Police Academy. Police Academy. Oh, my God.
Jimbo
And so I was thinking Bobcat.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So random.
Jimbo
So random.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But such a distinctive voice.
Jimbo
Right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I can't do that.
Jimbo
I did it for a while with this vocal teacher and everything. I have to watch the thing to do it right now. But, yeah, it's like.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I think I've been from Scrooge. There's a lot of voice cracking. There's like Elliot Loudermilk in Scrooge. Do you ever see Scrooge?
Jimbo
No.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, he was in Scrooge. Plays a fantastic worker that goes postal and tries to shoot everybody with a shotgun at the end. He's great. Bobcat Goldwyn.
Jimbo
Yeah. No, Very, very. No, he's still alive. Oh, no, he's a comedian. He. He sort of shied away from the sweaty, crazy talk.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah.
Jimbo
Character into more of just like, he's doing his thing and kind of dips in, but.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, wow.
Jimbo
So I was going to do that, and then the last kind of minute, I realized, well, I've only really brought Shirley Temple stuff, so I better figure this out. So luckily, on the TV in the hotel room, there was a channel that you could get a sample of a Shirley Temple.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No way.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, that's.
Jimbo
So there was like, I could watch the clip of this little short of her. It was like, maybe like 45 seconds. And so that's.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And it's something.
Jimbo
So I watched that, and I was like, 45 seconds of research. Yeah. I was like, okay, I watched that, and then I was like. I was thinking about my clown teacher. My clown teacher always taught me that kids kind of move through emotions. They don't really hang on to emotions for very long. And you can kind of. That's the joy of. Of child. Of being a child is kind of that you experience things and they flow through you, and. And you kind of move on when you're crying and then you're laughing, then you're having the best time, then you're sleeping. And so when I was doing that, surely I was kind of feeling like, okay, just keep moving through emotions. Keep moving through these feelings. Stay active. And then at the last minute, Also, I saw that she tap dance in this one video. So right before I went out, I was like, I need cans. I need little cans on my shoes. And they had had a box of can lids in the recycling challenge, where you make shit with shit. And so right before I went on, I was like, get me those can lids from last week. And they were able to find this random shit of these can lids, drill two holes, and I strapped them on my feet right before I went out and then just did that. And it just happened like that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I, it's, it's. I mean, if I can just, I can just recall it in my, in my head and it makes me howl. It's so great. I'm so happy that you did it. It's such a wonderful moment. I love it when you said you're like. Because the, the, the implication the whole time is of this, really. The, the discomfort of Bowen Yang being, you know, shacking up with a six year old girl. And then when you said, I'm a hundred.
Jimbo
Yes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So great. Oh, I loved it so much. It's absolutely. I think it's. I know, it's my. I don't think I know. It's my favorite moment of Drag Race of all time. So, so great. So great.
Jimbo
Well, I'm obsessed also with the idea of like a child star that kind of becomes famous in that period of their life and then it kind of sticks with them. Like a haircut.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. It's like Claudia from Interview with the Vampire.
Jimbo
Right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She's fucking 12 forever or whatever, you know, but she's really 80 in her mind. Yeah. It's crazy.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So good. Yeah.
Jimbo
Jojo Siwa is another, you know, interesting.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She's our Shirley Temple. She is our drag. I think.
Jimbo
She is.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She is, actually.
Jimbo
She dances so hard, it's. Yeah, she's going to hurt herself or.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She'S going to hurt somebody else.
Jimbo
Or somebody else.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She's like a Mortal Kombat fatality or something. It's like finished.
Jimbo
Dances her own feet into mush.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Finish yourself. What do you like to do?
Jimbo
What do I like to do? What now? What do you like to do? Like, what do you. I like to. Basically, if I were to pick, what do I want to do all the time? I want to travel and have fun. Oh, that's my favorite thing. I love putting on shows. I love getting into drag, being a wacko, having an adventure, being extra, being just kind of enjoying myself. I just feel so lucky and grateful to have this gig that I've got, traveling around the World performing, thinking of concepts, thinking of ideas, collaborating with other artists to execute those visions, putting it out there, meeting the people it affects. It's all like this insane, amazing time. So I love it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
What's the best show you've ever had? Can you think of one in particular?
Jimbo
The best show I ever had. Well, the best shows I've ever done were my show that this tracksuit is from Jimbo's Drag Circus, my big solo show that I've just been touring. I just got home from Australia. So this. This Tour, I've done 69 performances in across North America, all around the U.S. canada, and now Australia. And this is the culmination of all of my dreams and all of my connections. And I've worked with so many friends and artists on it. So getting to perform this I did in New York at the Town hall adjacent Times Square, sold it out. Epic energy. And just operating at that level which I dreamt of, you know, being a theater kid, going into stages, seeing huge, beautiful rooms, going, could I fill this? Could I entertain these people? Could I captivate this audience? And then to. To work and to do it is just the best feeling in the world. To go, like, okay, I can do that. I can tell a story. I can entertain people, and it's what I'm supposed to do. I love that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So how long did it take you to come up with the show from, like, concept to execution?
Jimbo
I think. Well, it basically is six characters that I do throughout kind of callback to Drag Race. So I kind of start as my Mickey character from my entrance to Canada's Drag Race, where I was on the mountain with the flag and I was.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Kind of screaming, yeah, incredible.
Jimbo
So twisted Mickey. Mickey is like a character that I've always kind of gravitated towards as a kid and kind of had this weird thing where I waited in line to meet Mickey for hours in the hot sun. The second I was going to meet Mickey, he walked away. He turned his back and said, it's break time. I was like, what? I was like, no. I was like, mickey, I'm right here. And then he gave zero. He had lunch to eat. Yeah. And then Minnie came out and I said, I did. I did not come here. I did not wait in the sun for many.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You fat.
Jimbo
You fat. So I was devastated. And so, you know, what a great memory, right? Yeah, it's transformative. So that kind of Mickey is very close to me. And then this idea of a twisted Mickey and kind of all of that kind of Steamboat Willie era and that kind of nostalgia is sort of, kind of fun and interesting to me. So I wove in that sort of element from that experience. Canada's Drag Race. Then I become Shirley Temple. There's this thread where the baloney has been stolen. My character, Casper the Baloney goes where I throw baloney. The show gets derailed because someone stolen the baloney. And the show becomes sort of about finding this baloney, which is a metaphor for, you know, talent or whatever. And. And then I sort of do this sort of like circus style present presentation, where you kind of. You don't know what you're going to get. The circus has come to town sort of idea. And I do Shirley Joan. I do a new character, Eva Dentz, who has every breast size from a cup to Z cup. And then I do some Joan Rivers. How did.
Katya Zamolodchikova
When you did the Joan Rivers at the Carson roast, your delivery was so spectacular. Did you have. You had cards written? Right. But I mean, do you. I don't. When I'm watching you, you barely glanced down at them, like, and you never stumbled. Well, such a good fucking show.
Jimbo
Thank you. I. When I do Joan, every single night of the tour, I never have cards or prepare. I always just go, whatever just happens in the moment. And I kind of call on jokes or ideas I have in my head, but I really try to do it off the cuff, fresh every time. And that's really a lot of the clowning that I love about clowning is that shared surprise, is that sort of surprise yourself at the same time as your audience, and then it feels authentic. And so for that performance, I didn't do any preparation again, going into All Stars, I'm really bad at preparation, which is why I love clowning. Clowning is all about you just show up and do the thing.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, but, but, but, I mean, like, improv is. That skill is honed over practice. It's practice. It's like you. You know your preparations over the years. Right, you know. Yeah, yeah.
Jimbo
Being comfortable with just rolling with it and listening and. And responding.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So it is pretty magical to like, to have that when during something that is not rehearsed that's off the cuff and then it works in the moment. And you're like, oh, you both find out. You and the audience find out together that it was like, I did it. Yeah, it's great.
Jimbo
That's the best, really, because you never know. Because that's why I'm scared every time. I'm like, can I do it? Is it going to work? Will something funny happen? And then luckily, you know.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, and then you promptly forget what it was.
Jimbo
Exactly. It's going to blackout.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I'm Louie, AKA the baddest Pera.
Jimbo
And I'm Yoazi. And we're siblings.
Katya Zamolodchikova
We might not be the most intelligent.
Jimbo
Or the smartest or inteligentes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You just said that.
Jimbo
Oh, yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But at least we're pretty. You may have seen our viral challenge videos, Mexican food, mukbangs, and family vlogs, but did you know we're also the hosts of the podcast Pretty Not Smart. On our show, we expose all the chisme in our lives, from our wildest dating stories to childhood feuds to our scary ghost stories. But don't worry, it's not all drama. All the time, we discuss financial hardship, the importance of taking care of your mental health, and our experiences dealing with complicated family relationships. Because we're siblings, we know each other.
Jimbo
Better than anyone, which means we also.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Know how to beef with each other.
Jimbo
Like it's nobody's business.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Who doesn't love listening in on a little sibling conflict? We've also had some amazing guests join.
Jimbo
The show, like YouTubers Adam Rae and.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Laura Maillado and so many more. At the end of the day, I'm happy to be the pretty one and Yoati, the smart one. No, it's definitely the other way around. And who told you that lie? Us, the audience. So if you want to hear the juicy perspectives of two pretty siblings, tune into Pretty Not Smart, available wherever you get your podcasts. Were the other girls. Did you get along with everybody on Drag Race all three times you were on there?
Jimbo
I would say on the Candace Drag Race, it was definitely. I was the most unknown. I had. I didn't have. I had one drag queen friend back on my little island. Victoria. Vivian.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Victoria.
Jimbo
I love Victoria. And so I didn't really know how to be a drag queen in that sense, kind of. I wasn't in dressing rooms with lots.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Of drag queens, you know, snapping your fingers and saying, yeah, work it, Hunt.
Jimbo
I didn't. I didn't know that stuff. Yeah, I. When I went there, I didn't even really know about drag jewelry. I saw someone.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You didn't know about Fierce Drag?
Jimbo
No, I didn't know about that. So Alona pulled out drag jewelry. I didn't even mean. I know. Isn't that crazy?
Katya Zamolodchikova
What do you mean?
Jimbo
Like, the big, giant rhinestones?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Sure. The soldered.
Jimbo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That. Like, all of that stuff. I didn't. That was a me seeing that, and I thought that I was like, oh, my God, she must Be a billionaire. Like, look at all these gems.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Come to find out, you know, yeah, they are expensive.
Jimbo
They are not. That was, you know, I go through them like water, but they're not good. But essentially, that was kind of. All of us were kind of afraid and I was kind of a little weirdo. So certain queens did gravitate towards me. Certain ones were kind of, you know, a little bit dubious. But I think in the end, we have a super amazing bond that we used to all chat and communicate on.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, that's great.
Jimbo
And Instagram and. And then UK versus the world was a little bit different. That was like, within the pandemic, flying to the uk, we were all pent up in hotels and kind of segregated. There was a lot of fear and weirdness inside of everybody. And then we were held solo in these rooms and then unleashed on each other. So that was a whole other different energy. And people knew. We kind of knew each other because it's, you know, it was the UK versus the world, so we kind of had seen each other on other series, so it was a little bit easier to make friends. But the competition was a little bit more a cutthroat, obviously.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. What's up with this blob versus the blah? Blah. Like, what is that?
Jimbo
I don't.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Like, what is that?
Jimbo
Blah versus the, like, UK versus the world.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Canada versus Mexico. Mexico versus Honduras. Honduras versus, like, what is that?
Jimbo
I think that it's basically celebrating the global trend that there is this way for us to communicate across borders.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay.
Jimbo
Through Dragon competition.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay. I mean, I was looking at, wow, presents plus the other day, and I was like, oh, holy shit. There is Drag race. Sweden. Drag Race. There's. Every country has Drag race.
Jimbo
Every country.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, it's incredible.
Jimbo
Every country has drag queens.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Spain. There's drag. There's a drag race. Canada, America. Mexico. Spain. Holland, France. Italy. Sweden.
Jimbo
Philippines.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Philippines. Thailand. Australia. There's more.
Jimbo
There's more.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Denmark.
Jimbo
Yeah. Everywhere.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Germany. Yeah, probably. I know.
Jimbo
Yeah, definitely. Yeah. But I think it's. I don't know if it's been renewed, but.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay. I hope it's like. Yeah. Everywhere. It's a. It's. And there's like multiple seasons. The drag. Three seasons of France or something. It's just like, really crazy. It's crazy. Yeah.
Jimbo
Yeah. It's amazing.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Have you. Have you had the chance to check out any of those other franchises? It's pretty tough to stay, like, up to date. There's a lot of.
Jimbo
I feel like it's kind of like drinking water from a fire. Hose. And I do.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Wooden teeth. Right.
Jimbo
I want to, but it feels. It's like. And I'm trying to just be like, Drake. Drake. Oh, I love that look. Oh, my God, your greens. You okay? You got a crown and. Yeah. You want it so bad. Oh, my God. You're dead. You're gone. Oh, my God. There's a new person. It's a new show. We're a new country. Oh, my God. So it's a. It's a lot. It's truly a race now where the. Where the girls are speeding by like fast cars. You see a splash or a flash.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Drinking water from a fire hose. Love that.
Jimbo
So I do. I try to keep up. I try to keep up, but I have basically every time I lay down, I fall right to sleep, so. And then also I have a hard time, like, kind of reading subtitles. The subtitles as I'm with, like, one eye.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, yeah. I don't turn on the TV to read.
Jimbo
I don't read.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I love. People say that I don't go to the movies to read you, but I do.
Jimbo
I do love all the different takes on drag. I love seeing, you know, people cry in other languages. That's always very.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Thailand.
Jimbo
Know what's going on, but you're like, I feel so much for you. I have. I don't know what's happening.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Drag Race Thailand is off the hook. It really is off. Oh, yeah. It's a whole nother beast. It's like, that's a whole different universe. They're so incredible. The challenges are so wild. The runways are insane. They're so animated. They're like. It's just such a. It's an amazing energy. It's so, so cool. It's really frenetic energy. In the first couple of seasons, I think they're lighting. Lighting their songs on fire and shit. It's like, wild. Yeah.
Jimbo
And I think that's the one cool thing about having so many variations on something familiar. As you can kind of go, okay, here. Here is what's specifically different in this place. And that's kind of interesting that way. Yeah, I wish. Yeah, I wish I had. My job was just to watch Drag Race just full time.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Just be a commentator. Like a sports cast. Oh, yeah. You know, like an Olympic commentator or something like that. Who's your favorite drag queen?
Jimbo
Who is my favorite drag queen? Well, like, in terms of their drag. Like, I'm looking at their drag, and they're so beautiful and positive.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yes, just say that.
Jimbo
And expensive.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Like, they're the Aesthetically speaking, the most.
Jimbo
Aesthetically speaking, I think I love Got mixed drag. I love. I was going to wear that. The fashion I love, the perspective I love. Similarly, there's always this twist. I love that about drag and specifically the Drag Race challenges, where you kind of see everyone's point of view or take on things. And I know that Mick has this incredible eye and community of amazing people. So that's the huge thing about Drag Race, is you have your queen, but then you. It's all about who's around them to help fulfill everything it takes to get on that show, and it takes a whole village. And I know Mick has this incredible team of people that helped execute all that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
He's got a village.
Jimbo
Yeah, he's got a village.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Beer's village. That village will burn down your village. It's incredible that. Yeah. The. The bar that has been set for the aesthetic, just the presentation, the Runway presentations. But you wear in is so high these days.
Jimbo
I feel like I helped phrase that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's incredible. I mean, it's like, it's. I don't. I mean, I talk about this with Trixie all the time. It's like, I don't. I could never go back on Drag Race. I don't. I could. I don't even dream. I couldn't even dream about, like, getting ready for one Runway, because I'm looking at the girls these days, and it's like, the outfits are so incredible. The hair is so incredible. Everything is done. You got to do it all yourself.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And it's. It's absolutely daunting. I was looking at Nymphia Wind. Yeah. Wow.
Jimbo
So cool.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So.
Jimbo
And, like, she does so much of that on her own. And the detail levels, I'm like, wow.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's so. I can't even. It's unbelievable to me.
Jimbo
She's basically, like, making the beads, and I'm like, shut up. You're polishing your own custom rhinestone. She's, like, mining the rhinestone out and polishing it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's out of control. And then the makeup and course the skin is like, oh, God, I don't know. It's so wild. It's. It's. It's so crazy. People are so spoiled. It's like the. I wanted, like, just always remind the audiences and just, like, slap them. Be, like, be grateful for this. Yeah. All these girls are bringing it themselves. Like, they're all doing it themselves. They're all like, you know, the. It's all from. All the contestants are. They're bringing the production value to the show themselves. You know what I mean?
Jimbo
Yeah. Suitcases and truckloads.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. I mean, RuPaul looks amazing, but she always looks the same, Right? You know, she's like. Has. She doesn't come out as, like, a Brazilian carnival float, but the contestants do. It's. Oh, God, it's so wild. I was watching the. The. The crowning of season. Season 16. Yes. And.
Jimbo
Plain Jane.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Jane. Plain Jane. All three of them, as they're watching, like, you know, who's gonna get the crown? The looks are like. You got Plain Janice. Baba Yaga. You got.
Jimbo
Yeah, I was there, actually. I hosted the. The crown.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You did?
Jimbo
Yeah. The live one where she was dressed as the Baba Yaga. I don't think in the tv, she was dressed as the Baba Yaga.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It was. No, she came to the. She was watching. Yeah, it was like the watch was.
Jimbo
I was the host of that one, so.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Wait, I'm a little stupid. What? So they didn't. I was so confused watching this. Like, they. They didn't. What were they watching?
Jimbo
What do you mean? What were they watching?
Katya Zamolodchikova
They didn't know, basically.
Jimbo
They. They know. They know. They know. Okay. Because I'm like. Like, essentially, you. You find it right before. And then we all kind of watch together. But I was like, what is happening? It's like when you watch that filmed version on YouTube where it's the girls in the room.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Yes. Yes.
Jimbo
You know, you. We were brought to a little hotel studio, kind of similar to this kind of idea. And then you watch the episode with.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yes.
Jimbo
Whoever in the top.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And then the top two lip sync. And then I. I know that they filmed two different.
Jimbo
Yeah, they filmed the multiple endings. And then you watch. Which ending did they pick? Did they pick mine or did they pick yours?
Katya Zamolodchikova
I hate that.
Jimbo
And it's kind of. You have mind fuck. Because you have to make sure that you. In that filming, that you give the best receiving of it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, I mean, I.
Jimbo
So that they'd have to pick that one.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. I. It's funny. I. Right. I. That's a really good point, actually. You know, I remember RuPaul told us when we. I mean, so long ago. This. At this point, she said, we're. It was. They were setting up the. The. The reaction shots for each of us winning, and there were four of us. And she said, you know, we have to do it this way, so make sure you bring the realness. And I was like. And when it came to, like, crown me, I was like. I was like, thanks. You know, because I knew I wasn't gonna win. I, I was so insincere. I was like, I didn't even pretend.
Jimbo
You didn't take your moment. You didn't pretend to cry, fall to the ground, spit all over myself, get everyone to hold you. My legs, my legs, like you just collapse and die.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Foaming at the mouth, eyes rolling.
Jimbo
I love when people win and they get like, they die all. Yeah. Cuz it's a huge release. It is a huge release.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I mean, I've never been like a winner, you know, And I, and I don't.
Jimbo
You are a winner. Okay? Now shut up. You change that around.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, but I, but I, I, I'm obsessed with the Olympics and I love, I love, I love this. The moment when, when an athlete looks at the scoreboard and realizes that they won the gold medal. And then we're there on the podium and it's there and they are declared the champion.
Jimbo
That's right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
They. It's them and not you.
Jimbo
Right?
Katya Zamolodchikova
It was like, I, I beat you. I'm the best. I love that moment. But, and I'm. And I think it's like in, in a beauty pageant. It's so funny. The, the, when they say it's you and then you, what is your reaction?
Jimbo
Like, like, so excited.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You're excited.
Jimbo
Why? I was so excited I screamed. But when I was watching, when I filmed my one on the show, it was real. I was like, I won this. I worked my ass off. And, you know, you know, you, you knew you were. I didn't win. No, I was no win. But it felt real. Like, it felt like, okay, I, that did the thing that got all the way to this part, and now I'm here with Mama Ru and I'm on the spot and there's Candy there and this is all happening. And I knew we were going to film both versions, but I knew my version was the one that I wanted to have happen. And so I was like, I'm going to give this all my energy. But still, I guess you couldn't fully go there because I know that Candy had to do it. So when I did the viewing with Kandy, I basically was literally going to hyperventilate. It was, it was basically this like, like, build up to this one, like, moment where Mama Root could say either one. And then everything changes from there. And when she said my name was the biggest release ever, it was so exciting. But then tempered by Candy is there.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Right?
Jimbo
So you have to not go too extra. You don't want to kick her out. Like, get out of here.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I need my moment.
Jimbo
Whip my pony, you start jerking off just like it. Oh, my God. So, yeah, I know. I wanted to do all that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And you. You win. How much money did you win?
Jimbo
I won maybe. I think it was maybe 200 and something. Thousand with all my different other winnings in there.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Fabulous. They taxed the out of that, did they did.
Jimbo
Sure did.
Katya Zamolodchikova
The. So they. On the UK one, they. Can no one get no money? Don't.
Jimbo
No, no. They. There was a song with Mamaroo. Now they've changed it. There is a cash prize now, but at that time, Blue Hydrangea won a song with Mamaroo, which at least is priceless. Well, I want it so bad. I wanted it so bad. That's why I tried. Really? I tried it on Jujube, even though I regret that, so.
Katya Zamolodchikova
What do you mean?
Jimbo
Like, because I had to pick lipsticks.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, okay.
Jimbo
And I knew that Jujube loves singing and, like, her and Mama Ru love each other, and I thought, oh, she's definitely gonna be the one that gets to sing with Rue at that time. So then I was like. I picked her name, and I felt so bad. And she was like, you fucking bitch. And I was like, I wanted to sing with Mama Ru, and I felt so bad, but I did. And then, you know, after, when. When I was just, like, devastated in the interviews, they were like, okay, you know, like, so, you know, how's it feel? You must feel great. And I was just devastated. I was like, no, no. I wanted to sing with Mama. Ruined. No. My dreams are crushed.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I'm gonna kill myself.
Jimbo
I'm gonna kill myself. But then I saw the song after. I was like, okay, I'm good. I'm good. I heard this song after. I was like, okay, what was the song? I think it's a song. It's a. It's an existing song that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Pull it up, pull it up.
Jimbo
Control baby up. And then Blue sang a track on it, so it's like, almost like a remix.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay, okay. What about Blue Hydrangea? My God. Yeah. Beautiful.
Jimbo
So beautiful. So shady.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Really? Oh, yeah.
Jimbo
So awesome. She's so funny.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Shady.
Jimbo
Shady, funny. Yeah. Very clever. She's a little Irish leprechaun.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. She is very cheeky. Yeah.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So cute. You like Ireland?
Jimbo
I do. I love it there. I love the. Yeah. I love the ginger. Big ginger boys and. Yeah. And I love the landscape and green. Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You don't see green. So you go to. You know, green is. So you go to Ireland. This is true.
Jimbo
No, it's beautiful. I do. I love. And I just love touring around the whole UK and then going into Ireland, going up to Scotland for Drag Race. Yeah, they go crazy. Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Wild.
Jimbo
Yeah, I love it. I love that feeling there. It makes me feel like you're in the Beatles. Everyone's like, you know, reaching, crying, and.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Pull your body apart if they could get the chance.
Jimbo
It's fierce.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You got the song Ho.
Jimbo
No, I remember Being Born was a song that I performed on All Stars. Blue Hydrangea saying, no, Juj. Oh, Juju.
Katya Zamolodchikova
We talking about Jujube.
Jimbo
No, we. Blue Hydrangea one. Jujube was trying to.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, okay, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it.
Jimbo
She was. She ended up making it all the way to the end, but didn't.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I think she has that, like, the MGM contract with a. Wow. Jujube to appear on every.
Jimbo
I think so, too. Every season of Drag Race.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She must have done something very bad in season two. And then they have this blackmail to get her back at every season.
Jimbo
Put me on. Yeah, put me in, coach. Put me in the ring.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Has she been. I wonder if she's been on the most seasons of Drag Race.
Jimbo
I think. I think she basically has.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah.
Jimbo
I think there's. Yeah, I'd have to. Someone's tallying it somewhere. Yeah, yeah. How many have you been on?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Just two.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Well, no, I mean, I. And I was. Before I got here, I was like, I vaguely remembering that they had asked me to come in.
Jimbo
Yeah, you were on my season. Remember what I do.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And I was like. And I remember thinking when I was in the trailer, I was like, why am I here? And because I was like, I didn't win. I didn't. I'm not in particular. I'm not known for doing anything in particular on Drag Race. Certainly not like an expert on anything. And they were very, like, they weren't really help. I mean, they were so vague. So I just walked. The instructions were like, non existent. Like, just walk in the room and ask him some questions. I was like, okay. And then I had forgotten my. Like, I had, like, my body. I had forgotten all this stuff. And it was like my dress, it was so funny. It was so stupid. But it was such a fun little thing. Made absolutely no sense. No sense.
Jimbo
It made no sense for you. But at that time in the competition, when we were dying for any sign of outside light.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, yeah.
Jimbo
You know, it's such a breath of fresh air to have a sister come in and go like, oh, yeah, yeah, okay. It's not that serious. It's not that deep. You're. You kind of help, you know, lighten that energy. And then you gave me some really awesome advice, which I've actually passed on to other contestants. When I went to pre following, you told us and me to not take anything home that I had brought that I really wanted to show. You said, show it all.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jimbo
Don't, you know, bring something and go, like, oh, I'm not sure. And, you know, you. You said, take the chance. If you brought the thing, do the thing. And that was right after I had. Was going up against silky, and I had brought my Casper suit. And I wasn't really sure, like, you know, should I do this? And, you know, I was really kind of caught up in trying to lip sync in. In the way that I had seen people win and lip sync on Drag Race. And I was like, I have to do that part where I was slip and I dip and I do a lot. Well, I. I did the slipping part. It's the flipping part. But then, you know, you said, just do it. If you brought it, do it. So then that. That gave me the kind of the courage or the. The inspiration to do that, and then I won the fudgeing lip sync.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Fears. I mean, I'll never. I. I ran that show. The first motherfucking thing I would do. What would change that Runway.
Jimbo
Oh, into what, a walkable surface?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Not. Not greased sheet metal, right?
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Grease, slippery metal.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I'd also put up a. I'd also put up railings.
Jimbo
Do you want a handle to walk off? Safety rail.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, no, but you say safety rail, I say pussy pole. Do you know what I mean?
Jimbo
Yes. Scooch down out there.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Would be. If I had. If I. If I were taking over the production, if I was like, the whatever, I would install. It would be a Marley floor, pretty much like a dance.
Jimbo
What's that?
Katya Zamolodchikova
A dance floor.
Jimbo
Okay.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You know, it's like a black. It's like a black theatrical.
Jimbo
You want to tumble.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, I don't want to slip. Because the first thing. I'll never forget, the terror of going out for the first Runway on Drag Race. And you notice a few things right off the bat. You're like, wow, this is much smaller than it looks like. Yeah. And two, the judges are right there.
Jimbo
There, and they're watching you, and they can smell you.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yes. And you can hear them so clearly.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And then even though the music. Yeah, the music is so loud, but you're like, whatever. And then three. Wow. This Runway is slippery. Yeah.
Jimbo
I slip.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So slippery. Yeah, so slippery. It is so difficult. It is so difficult to walk down the Runway. It's really tough to do.
Jimbo
It's very slippery. But it's perfect if you slide.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, Like, I saw that Candy. I think it was Candy who slid.
Jimbo
George was the best slider.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, that.
Jimbo
Oh, when she got.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Loved that. Yeah, that I love.
Jimbo
Arrive everywhere like that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I know.
Jimbo
Just like.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, like, I. Yeah, it was. But I would. I would. So I would make it into a walkable surface, and then there would be railings.
Jimbo
You want little paths, little stones or garden. Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Cobblestones. No.
Jimbo
Like, why is she walking in a circle silently? I'm getting grounded. Don't look at me.
Katya Zamolodchikova
She's meditating. She's doing a walking meditation. No, but there would be a railing on. There'd be a railing on the Runway.
Jimbo
Yes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And at the. There would be a railing around. Just not around the. The very front of it, but railings on the. Each. On the te. On each side of the tea, there'd be a railing. And then perhaps there'd be, like, a pole. Oh. On the end, right at the.
Jimbo
Some stuff to play with.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, I like that.
Jimbo
I think that's a great idea.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Think about it. When you watch I like Level Battle, they have props, they have rain, they have, like, giant gag costume things. Like, they have a full production.
Jimbo
Right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
And. And then, like, you. And I'm like, oh, God, don't let the straight people do it better. You know, when I watch Lip Sync Battle, I don't think they do that anymore.
Jimbo
But.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But it's like. Yeah. I just feel like the girls need something.
Jimbo
Some level.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, because if you. You know, it. The pole. The poll would be cool because, like. Yeah. If you can't do the poll and you try to do the poll, it's like you learn, like, don't do it. But if you can.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's so cunty.
Jimbo
And squeak. Up and down it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, it would be so cool. Yeah. Or, like, fall and hurt yourself.
Jimbo
Right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You know?
Jimbo
Yeah, I would have loved that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Right. Just a little bit of support because, like, when you can. Sometimes the. The. At the end of the day. Also. I'm sorry to, like, hijack the conversation about this, but the.
Jimbo
Like, you.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's after a long day of filming, right.
Jimbo
Like, when you're listening, you're terrified. Terrified in your potentially broken inside.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. And your feet hurt. So it's like a little bit of support. Like, even. Just, like, you know, because sometimes the song doesn't call For a lot of movement.
Jimbo
But if you want a chair, you're like, can I. Exactly.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Kinda or just a little, like. Just like a rest. You're like that. What is it in Sweet Charity where they're like, hey, big spender. They're all like. You know what I mean?
Jimbo
Like a barn door.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, something like that. It just be.
Jimbo
You want sets, you want production? Yeah, Just.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Just a railing, right? Just give me a railing.
Jimbo
Something you can lean on.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, something to lean on to. Like, just to brace to. To balance, to. To. To work with.
Jimbo
Bend over.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, something. And I think it would be cool. I think. Have they done. They have done some. Do they make it snow on the Runway once?
Jimbo
I feel like they have. I feel like. But I feel like it's the individual performer or the queen has kind of tossed a bit of snow in the air.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jimbo
And then you kind of walk through a bit of snow.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah.
Jimbo
But what did you think of Alyssa Edwards and her water pole?
Katya Zamolodchikova
I didn't see it. I didn't see it.
Jimbo
Oh, you didn't see it?
Katya Zamolodchikova
No.
Jimbo
Oh, my God. You gotta watch All Stars UK Global.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Is it on?
Jimbo
Yeah, yeah. All Stars Global is happening right now.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, my God.
Jimbo
So how many queens around the world? How many episodes? It's. I think four. In four episodes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, my God. I didn't even realize. So it's. Who is Alyssa?
Jimbo
Alyssa Edwards. Queen Kong.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay.
Jimbo
Kitty Scott Claus.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay.
Jimbo
So would amuse.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay. Oh, my God.
Jimbo
Okay. And then there is.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Okay, I'll find out.
Jimbo
That's Gallivard. Gallivardo from Mexico. Miranda from Brazil. So Pathia. Mike, my girl from Canada, obviously. How could I have forgotten? I know.
Katya Zamolodchikova
That's the. Oh, my God. What did she. What did Alyssa do?
Jimbo
She did sort of like this sort of flash dance number where she did sort of this workout.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, I saw that.
Jimbo
I saw the chair and pulls the chain and water goes on her. It was so.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Thank God.
Jimbo
So cunty is so awesome.
Katya Zamolodchikova
That's good.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I mean, I've noticed that over the years as the. Like, during the talent show, for example, they've. They've allowed the girls a good amount of, like.
Jimbo
Oh, yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Props and sets.
Jimbo
If you can think of it, like, you just say, this is what I want. I didn't really realize it until I saw Lala. She had, like, a whole, like, spinning disc and everything. I was like, oh, you could ask for, like. Yeah, the floor to rotate. Okay.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, yeah. Thank God.
Jimbo
What would you do if you could ask for any kind of gag? Oh. Because I know you like to fly.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I mean, I. Yes, I would. I think. I don't know. I, I, I don't know what I would do. Oh, trampoline. Easy. I would have the. Oh, my God. If they had the, like, in the Cirque du Soleil show, they have the tumble track. The. Say the Runway is retractable and underneath is a tumble track.
Jimbo
Yes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Mary, I wouldn't. You could. Honey, you'd have to shoot me to.
Jimbo
Get me off that thing.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, I would. I would go. So ham. Because I can do one of those. It's like a you, it's like a loop of backhand springs where you just, you go, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop. And you stay in the same place and it looks like a circle.
Jimbo
Right.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's really cool.
Jimbo
How so? You would just do that for 15 minutes. Sense 15, 20 minutes montages where they kind of fade it. Time passes black and white.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, 15 minutes later. Yeah, I would do that. I would do that because that was just. That's so fun. That's the one thing I, I think I want to have a, like, installed in, in your yard? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jimbo
Like a tumble floor.
Katya Zamolodchikova
That would be my bowling full spring floor. You know how, like, people get insanely rich and they have, like, a bowling.
Jimbo
Alley, an elevator pool?
Katya Zamolodchikova
I would just want the top tumble track in a, In a foam pit and then a crash.
Jimbo
Beautiful. And one of those high horses. I'm just trying to talk gymnast with you. What? It's called the pony horse.
Katya Zamolodchikova
The pommel horse.
Jimbo
Pommel horse.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, no, don't pommel horse. Oh, okay.
Jimbo
She doesn't do that. It's too dangerous. Too hard, too.
Katya Zamolodchikova
If you could be the best in the world at any sport for one year only, right?
Jimbo
Thank God. Thank God. I'm only doing sports for one year. If I had to pick one damn sport to play and you could be the best, I would do the one with the wrestling where the dicks get squished on your face on the mat. I would be like, let's do that. You know, I'll be the one that gets on the ground and then just get squished and pressed around, folded up.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I needed to ask you about this because I have recently become my pretty obsessed with Persian wrestling. Oh, it's so gay. I mean, not Persian. It's not the person that's gay, but wrestling in general is so, It's, Yeah, it's exciting.
Jimbo
So grunty. But it's so sweaty. Like, it's Uncompromising.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Uncompromising.
Jimbo
Unyielding it. It's so gay and so gay. And all there is is just that thin bit of fabric that makes it not gay. That fabric is the barrier of protection from you just. People are gay.
Katya Zamolodchikova
These people aren't gay.
Jimbo
No. No. They're smelling those nuts and they don't like it. They don't like it most of the time.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Not their fingers in the butthole, and they don't like it.
Jimbo
Yeah, that's how that all happens. Still, if people liked it too much, they go, this is all getting too good. You have to pretend like you hate it. You have to go, not another butt sitting on my face again.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, gee.
Jimbo
Wh. Poop.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's so erotic. To a gay man such as myself.
Jimbo
Yeah. You want to wrestle?
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, I just want to jerk off on the sidelines.
Jimbo
Well, I can't wrestle myself.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I like. These guys are super, super jacked and hot and gorgeous, wearing these tight little singlets, and they're just humping each other. Humping each other forcefully. Forcefully. Pressing their huge butts and groins and pecs and faces to each other. Yeah. Just humping the shit out of each other. Teeny spandex. A layer of. Separating their balls and ass and probably.
Jimbo
Really tight thongs underneath.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, no, no one.
Jimbo
All right. I just added that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I don't think they're wearing any underwear.
Jimbo
I don't think so.
Katya Zamolodchikova
No.
Jimbo
I have no idea. What's balls and ass? I think that's the original name of the sport, but they changed it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. Ass in balls. So on that note, I have a gift for you. You do?
Jimbo
Yeah. Present you with a matching tracksuit. For me? Hell yes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, my God.
Jimbo
A medium, because you're dainty and petite.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, I'm. No. This is so wonderful. Thank you so much. That suit is. Is awesome.
Jimbo
And I also brought you this. This is something so special to me. This is a crack. No, it's a vintage smile. And I know that you love body parts and things, but this is one of my most precious things, so I'm giving it to you for the.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I.
Jimbo
It's perfect and it's real. So that's passed from someone's ancestor. And I'm sure It's from maybe 1940s, 50s. It's actually perfect. It looks great. As for the days you can't find a smile on your own.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's so great.
Jimbo
It's.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's so.
Jimbo
Yeah. And. Oh, there you go. That's. If you're ever scared, you do that one. You're not sure. And that. Oh, God. Gorgeous.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I love.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I think I. This. Thank you so.
Jimbo
Thank you. She's not the only one with veneers. Yes.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Perfect. No, I. Thank you so, so much. I love. I love. I love this because I was thinking about getting a flipper with braces.
Jimbo
Oh, yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Because I love. I love the queen of flip has braces. Or not anymore, I guess.
Jimbo
But who has. Who has a flipper with braces?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, well, no, the. I don't think anybody.
Jimbo
Oh.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But you know, I love the idea.
Jimbo
Yeah. And I wear a flipper, but I. I haven't had braces on it.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I. I mean, I loved having braces. Did you have braces?
Jimbo
Definitely not.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Oh, come on.
Jimbo
I.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But I can't rec. If you can. I think the coolest thing in the world is adult braces. I think it's.
Jimbo
What about for sucking dick, though?
Katya Zamolodchikova
Not the best. Not the best for that. You can still do it, obviously, but it's not the best.
Jimbo
Very slow and gently.
Katya Zamolodchikova
You have to be careful.
Jimbo
You gotta be a very small dick and a wide. Oh, you gotta.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Really? Yeah. I. The first dick I sucked, I had braces on. And he was not a fan. Right.
Jimbo
It lasted. It was a short session.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah. I. I definitely remember him saying ow.
Jimbo
One time or another.
Katya Zamolodchikova
But thank you so much. And. Oh, these are really wonderful. I love the. The ring of a brown around them.
Jimbo
Yeah, no, they're vintage. They're. They're passed down. They've seen a lot of. Of smiles and memories. Maybe they gave it a speech at one time and I just put it in my mouth. I was surprised, but, you know, I was glad.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I'm gonna die. Imagine if I died now. That would be so amazing. 45 minutes later, I'm like, I don't feel so good. And I just dropped dead. Oh, please.
Jimbo
I shouldn't have eaten that parsley out of that tooth from 1940.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Yeah, this is. Now that I look at it, it's really filthy looking. Beers? No.
Jimbo
Thank you so much. No, I knew that you loved creepy weird and I love it. I kept that in my secret passage in my little metal box with my two glass eyes fierce.
Katya Zamolodchikova
So I thought, didn't Shirley Temple have adult teeth put in or something like that?
Jimbo
Yeah. Vagina dentata.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Vagina dentata. This episode is brought to you by Vagina dentata. Okay, well, Jimbo, thank you so much for coming on the pod. And tell everybod home where they can find you on the Internet.
Jimbo
You can find me at my website, HouseOfJimbo.com or Instagram. Jimbo the Drag Clown. Or pretty much those place. Tick Tock.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Tick Tock.
Jimbo
Jimbo the Drag Clown. Twitter.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Twitter.
Jimbo
Jimbo the Drag Clown. But I don't. I. I'm not necessarily tweeting that much.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Right. Well, now that it's called X, I don't know if anybody's tweeting.
Jimbo
It's. I don't know. It's pretty. It's very negative on there. Do you find it's very negative on there?
Katya Zamolodchikova
I do. But also, it's just the layout is so up now.
Jimbo
Yeah.
Katya Zamolodchikova
With everything. And it just got all turned upside. I used to love Twitter.
Jimbo
Yeah. It's like, what's going on? Lots of fighting. I'm like, this is the fighting app.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It's a sense pool.
Jimbo
But Tick Tock, I'm getting into. Are you a Tick Tocker?
Katya Zamolodchikova
No, I don't. I. People. My friends send me tik toks all the time. And then I try to open them and they don't. It doesn't work. So I've just. I haven't. I'm kind of. Okay. Boomer about it, but I'm trying to get into it. My favorite Tick Tocker is Corporate Aaron. Oh, do you know Corporate Aaron?
Jimbo
Never heard of her.
Katya Zamolodchikova
I'm going to. I'll send you a Tik Tok.
Jimbo
Yeah, I want to see that.
Katya Zamolodchikova
It. All right. Well, have a lovely day. Thanks again, Jimbo. Thanks for the teeth. And if I die, y'all know at home who killed me, so thank you.
