After looking into this, I would stake my entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron is in fact a man. And I'm just going to guess that people who are. Because there's a lot of people saying this isn't just Sean. So this is common, like it's hot, like I think it might even been trending. She's cooked a lot of people using that exact same verbiage, which is kind of interesting, isn't it Kurt, that they would use the exact.

Now, we had Dr. Drew on and he explained to us that there's laws that you can't just take somebody off the street if they don't want to be taken. But get this. Trump signed an order directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to seek to reverse federal and state judicial precedents and end consent decrees that limit local and state governments ability to move homeless people from streets and encampments into treatment centers. That's what this says. I'm reading it to you. So he's trying to get the law reversed. That makes it hard for you to get a homeless person off the streets and into treatment. The move, first reported by USA Today, also redirects federal funds to ensure the homeless people impacted are transferred to rehabilitation, treatment and other facilities, though it was not clear how much money would be allocated.

You know, it sounds great, but in light of the other things, what are the odds?

What are the odds that they do this correctly? Under the order which the White House has titled Ending Crime and Disorder on America's Streets, Bondi is also required to work with the Secretaries of Health and Human Services. By the way, do we, do we, do we have places to put these people? I thought they closed all the mental health hospitals and treatment centers. Do it. Do they all mad? Do. Can we. Are they all mad?

Under the order which the White House has titled Ending Crime and Disorder on American Streets, Bondi is also required to work with the Secretaries of Health and Human Services. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, in a statement to USA Today, said Trump is delivering on his commitment to make America safe again and end homelessness across America. But by removing, we'll see, by removing vagrant criminals from our street and redirecting resources towards substance abuse programs, the Trump administration will ensure that Americans feel safe in their own communities and that individuals suffering from addiction or mental health struggles are able to get help that they need. Well, if that's how it works out, hooray. If that's how this works out. I don't understand why cities and states can't do that. Like, we spent $24 billion in California the last few years trying to help homeless people. But of course, none of that money saw it to the homeless people. It went right into the pockets of the non government organization. So instead of the government just hiring a bunch of people to go help homeless people and get them into treatment centers, they didn't, they didn't hire anybody. They gave a contract to a company that is connected to somebody in government and they Gave them all these millions of dollars and then they take those millions of dollars and they give it to all their friends and family.

You know how absurd this is that some idiot's going to go, what, do you want the government to do it? No, I want them to go through a series of cutouts. Yeah, I'm sure that's more capitalist and efficient than them just do, hey, here's an idea. Hire some H1B visa illegal aliens to do it.

Why wouldn't you just go give that person an apartment for $30,000 a year?

Homeless residents of the southern Oregon city of 38,000 face fines starting at $250 in jail time for repeat offenses. So you're going to, you're going to find people who have no money and you're going to put them in jail for not. You're going to give them three meals a day and shelter for, for them not having shelter.

They condemned Trump's order, characterizing it as misguided at best and counterproductive and dangerous at worst. The safest communities are those with the most housing and resources, not those that make it a crime to be poor and sick, said Jesse Rabinowitz of the National Homeless Law Center. As a licensed mental health professional, I know that forced treatment is unethical, ineffective and illegal. People need stable housing and access to health care. Rabinowitz said. Rather, Trump's action will force more people into homelessness, divert taxpayer money away from people in need, and make it harder for local communities to solve homelessness. Across the United states, more than 771,000 people lived without housing in 2024, according to HUD count. And taken annually on a single night in January, it was the highest tally ever recorded, an 18% jump over 2023, when officials counted 650,000 people living in homeless shelters or in parks or on streets. Many cities have struggled to build more affordable housing in recent years, while some communities have pushed for harsher laws banning tents and sleeping in public spaces. How about if we take some of that $300 billion that we just sent to Ukraine and the extra $200 billion Trump's giving the Pentagon, that's like half a trillion dollars. I bet we could build housing for people. Those tiny houses they were going to build, remember? We could build. We could do. We could have. We could build treatment centers.

Trump has often expressed his distaste of homeless camps, singling out the removal of encampments on parks and federal land in Washington as a priority. Trump in 23, in a 23 campaign video said, we will use every tool level and authority to get the homeless off our streets. We want to take care of them, but they have to be off our streets.

So they're going to be removing support for people.

You know, instead, you know, I know we had that conversation with Dr. Drew talking about how hard it is to give actual help assistance to people that are on the street.

Because in other words, you're, you're like kidnapping them, you know, and you know, you're trying to give them something that will benefit and help them. But at the same time I'm thinking of the real issue for me, and I've been saying this for years, is elder care. Where is the programs for elder care? How many of our families have aging parents? And what are we supposed to do? How helpless do young families feel to try to support an elder in their family? What expendable money do we all have?

Well, the big beautiful bill actually cuts it. So a lot of people in nursing homes are on Medicaid. So they're cutting that money.

And so it's not solving a problem, it's making a problem worse. And their answer is lock them up. So we'll see if they actually put money into treatment programs and actual housing for these people. But if the idea, again, there couldn't be a crazier idea than to take a person who's sleeping on the sidewalk because they don't have any money for an apartment and. And then pay $130,000 a year to put them in a jail cell, why wouldn't you just take $30,000 and put them in an apartment? And if they need mental health and if they need health care, give them health care. What? What?

That's for illegals. That's not for people. That's right here. Why not take money out of the goddamn CIA who brought all the fentanyl and all the crack and all that shit into this fucking country? Why are they still even a thing after they created this problem?

It's interesting that they want to take the most vulnerable off the street, but there's not one war criminal in my lifetime that will ever face justice.

Even with Bill Gates poop water machine, we won't be able to supply all the needs of everyone. So you didn't want to gain a function, research, but that's why we do.

That, you know, and also just. Just to go back to this whole thing. None of these programs are any of the programs that I remembered hearing any Democrat ever talk about improving. Like, what Democrat has ever come out and started to talk about that we.

Want to help the homeless, that nobody has a plan. I said.

That's right. I said that. During the campaign, Trump had this idea that he was going to put them all out in camps, you know, outside of cities. I go, at least he's talking about it. Nobody. No Democrats even talking about. They don't even talk about, oh, why.

Not train him to be terrorists so the FBI has something to catch and they can blow us up and Traumatize us for more. We wars and more. More. Hey, I'll brainstorm. We can have even more police, state laws. You train these homeless to be terrorists, you'll set them loose on everyone. They'll be begging for a nice, smart city.

And he wanted Africa to unite against the exploitations of the western world. So they had to kill him. So there's a new guy trying to do that in Africa right now. So Burkino Faso President Abraham Traori. Is that how you say it? Announces a bold plan to unite the African continent under one system. He wants to create a United States of Africa where all African countries will come together as one. There will be one government system, one currency allowed called Afro money, and one African passport. All Africans will be able to travel freely without visas. And he also said the wealth of Africa should be shared equally among all countries so no one is left behind. That's why they kill everybody. That's why they killed. They killed. They got rid of the guy Mosaddegh when he was running Iran in 1954 because he wanted to keep the oil profits for their own people. Immediately the CIA overthrew him.

Do you know that the Shah got thrown because the trilaterals wanted to put in the Ayatollah? Because the shah minorly wasn't doing what they wanted.

So he. That dictator was even good enough for the one they put in the Ayatollah.

And so. And so the same thing. The reason why they killed Gaddafi. Under Gaddafi, Libya had the highest standard of living in all of Africa. What sealed Gaddafi's fate was his plan to create a Pan African gold based currency to release the continent from the shackles of the petrodollar. The this could be, this couldn't be tolerated by the West. The rest is history. That's why they killed him. Well I remember we've covered that on this show many times. We've told you. And that's another truth that I don't think Jon Stewart will ever tell you either.

And I had no idea what the petrodollar was when I saw that. Okay, that's where they're laughing at, the very idea of that. But that is why they kill these people.

So let's watch this. More speculation has been raised on the reasons for NATO's intervention in Libya. And as Aarti's Laura Emmett reports, the.

Organization may have been trying to prevent.

Others say it's about oil.

The only reason they're interested with Libya.

Is about the oil. You think we'd be in Iraq if the major export there was broccoli.

But some are convinced intervention in Libya is all about currency. Specifically Gaddafi's plan to introduce the gold dinar, a single African currency made from gold, a true sharing of the wealth.

[Jimmy Dore]

It's one of these things that you have to plan almost in secret because as soon as you say you're going to change over from the dollar to something else, you're going to be targeted. There were two conferences on this one in 96 and another one in the year 2000 called the World Mataba Conference Organization organized by Gaddafi and everybody was interested. I think most countries in Africa were keen.

Gaddafi didn't give up. In the months leading up to the military intervention, he called on African and Muslim nations to join together to create this new currency that would rival the dollar and euro. They would sell oil and other resources around the world only for gold dinars. It's an idea that would shift the Economic balance of the world countries wealth would depend on how much gold they have, not how many dollars they trade. And Libya has 144 tons of gold, the UK has double that, but 10 times the population.

[Kurt Metzger]

If Gaddafi had an intent to try to reprice his oil or whatever else the country was selling in the global markets and accept something else as a currency or, or maybe launch a gold in our currency, any move such as that would certainly not be welcomed by the power elite today who are responsible for controlling the world's central banks. So yes, that would certainly be something that would cause his immediate dismissal and the need for other reasons to be brought forth for removing him from power.

[Jimmy Dore]

So that's why, if you haven't watched the show before and the segments we've done on why they killed Libya or Qaddafi and overthrew Libya, that's why he was going to create a dinar, a dollar for all of Africa that would compete with the euro and the American dollar. And they can't have that. That's exactly what that. Because that's how we control Africa, because we have the US reserve currency as the reserve currency of the, of the world. And that's how, that's why we can put sanctions on countries and things like that. And that's why there's brics now. And that's what they, that was, he was way ahead of it, Gaddafi, trying to get off the US dollar and they stopped it and they did it by killing him. And of course they told everybody he was a bad person. Even though his country was doing the best of any country in Africa. They had the highest standard of living, everybody had education, everybody had a house, everybody had health care, everybody had housing, everybody had everything. And then we had to overthrow and now we turn it into a failed state run by terrorists because that's better.

Burkina Faso, they got destabilized because what we did. That's why the Burkina Faso guy is sick of us in France that destabilized all the countries around it. That's how that guy got in there. You know that, right?

[Jimmy Dore]

No.

Yeah. Burkina Faso is one of the directly affected nations by overthrowing Gaddafi that way. They're sick of that shit.

[Jimmy Dore]

Just as our strength lies in unified policy and action for progress and development, so the strength of the imperialists lies in our disunity. We in Africa can only meet them effectively by presenting a unified front and a continental purpose. So that's what they don't want. That's what the west, the wef, NATO, the United States, that's what they don't want. They don't want people in just like they don't want us coming together in the United States. They don't want the countries of Africa coming together. They need to keep them fighting amongst each other so they can control them.

On this day in 1966, the US and Britain colluded in a coup that deposed Kwame Nick Moma, the first leader of independent Ghana and co founder of a non aligned movement because they considered his Pan Africanist politics to be a threat to Western interests. In the reason they've been doing this since forever. This isn't new. The day will come when history will speak. But it will not be the history which will be taught in Brussels, Paris, Washington or the United Nations. Africa will write its own history and in both north and south it will be the history of glory and dignity. So that was Patrice Lumumba.

He didn't last long after that.

No. After committing one of the most brutal genocides in history, Belgium partnered with the CIA to assassinate Congo's first leader, Patrice Lumumba, a brilliant Pan Africanist who sought to unite Africa against neo colonialism. They then dissolved his, dissolved his body in sulfuric acid. So that's what the west does in Africa.

Africa's to you, they do it to your kids too.

And now this guy, this guy is a friend of Russia. So now he's connecting with Russia and they can't have that. Since coming to power in September 2022 after the country's second coup that year, this guy Traore, I think that's how you say his name, has dealt, has dwelt on a rhetoric of self reliance and independence from the west, particularly former colonial ruler France. A message that often resonates with young Africans in the diaspora. The latest Traore frenzy reached a new peak late April with a solidarity march in the country's capital following an alleged coup attempt. And comments by General Michael Langley, the head of US military in Africa accusing Pina Faso leader of misusing the country's gold reserves. Of course, following the 2022 coup that brought him to power, he promised to end the country's decades long deadly security crisis and leverage its rich resources for the benefits of its own 24 million citizens. The west can't have that. Alongside the coup hit nations of Niger and Mali, Burkina Faso has since severed ties with the regional bloc of ecowas. Criticized by many young Africans as representing the interest of leaders and not the citizens as well as long standing Western allies such as France, whose military provided security support to the government for many years to help the security crisis. Analysts and locals suggest that these factors, combined with his youth, have contributed to Traore's appeal among young Africans. There is a growing consciousness among African youth at home and abroad that they need to do something about the continent's lack of progress. It appears Traore has become the face of that consciousness. A senior fellow at the Sangali based Timbuku Institute for Peace Studies attributes the current frenzy surrounding Traore primarily to his popularity and Russian driven propaganda. Despite Burkino Faso's worsening security crisis, Traore still has so much residence and interest simply because of propaganda. In Africa, there is deep frustration with their traditional leadership, so there is polarized anger. So this is the AP trying to tell you that this guy's just, just being propped up and it's, there's nothing real about him. Still, allegations of propaganda do not adequately explain the excitement that has built up around Africa's youngest ruler. According to Chidi Akanalu, an African analyst and professor at Tuft University, Traore articulates a revolutionary message that is appealing to young populations frustrated by the thievery of what passes for democracy in their own countries. That's what's happening.
