Come see. It's an Oxnard, California, Rutherford, New Jersey, Manhattan, New York, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Appleton, Wisconsin, Rosemont and Chicago, Illinois. Go to Jimmy Dore.com for a link for tickets. Hey, this is Jimmy. Who's this?
George Clooney
Hey, Jim, this is Clooney. Calling the clones. Hey.
Jimmy Dore
Hey, Friend of the show, George Clooney. Thanks for calling.
George Clooney
Yeah, yeah. Hey. Hey. Do you have a minute? I really need to talk to somebody right now and you're one of the few good men I know I can trust.
Jimmy Dore
Of course, George. We're old friends. And yes, you can trust me.
George Clooney
Thanks, man. I really appreciate the dog shit out of that Jimmy Dean sausage, but I gotta tell you, man, I feel like I'm going fucking crazy.
Jimmy Dore
Why? What's going. What's wrong?
George Clooney
Well, it just seems like we're under fire.
Jimmy Dore
You mean our nation?
George Clooney
No, fuck our nation. Me and Amal. Me and my fucking wife. My fucking gazelle like wife Amal.
Jimmy Dore
How so?
George Clooney
All right, let me break it down for you. MC Scat Cat. Wifey Poo is from across the pond, the uk. Mary Old England. Lives here, but citizen of said island nation. She was instrumental in urging the ICC to Netanyahu with war games, I'm sorry, crimes. But then she was warned by the baristry of England or whatever the it's called, that in so doing she others could be barred from entering the US by the Trump misadministration. Singh.
Jimmy Dore
Oh, no.
George Clooney
Oh, I'm afraid yes, my old friend. And it hasn't happened yet, obviously, but it's a shoe that's ready to drop. I feel it hovering. I feel it. And then what? My wife can't come home? My wife, Jimmy. My fucking wife that I make pancakes for on Sunday mornings, give foot rubs to on Tuesday nights, and let my actor buddies have a go at on Saturday afternoon.
Jimmy Dore
George.
George Clooney
What? I don't watch. The point is. The point is I can't live without Her. What happens if she's barred from the us? What then we just live in limbo in our shared villa on Lake Como in Tuscany?
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
George Clooney
Is that gonna be our lives?
Jimmy Dore
Wow, that sounds like a fate worse than death living on Lake Como.
George Clooney
That's what I'm saying. And then, and then. Jimmy, are you listening?
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
George Clooney
And then there's this. This cockamamy interview with Hunter Biden. Have you seen this?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
George Clooney
This crackhead starts laying into me as if anybody, literally anyone in this country was wondering, hey, I wonder if that Jack nut has to say about anything.
Jimmy Dore
Right? Well, what did he say?
George Clooney
Oh, he's just mad because I wrote that op ed that got his dad to drop out of the race. Yeah, he doesn't get to be Prince Crackhead anymore and he blames me. Well, fuck him.
Jimmy Dore
He blames you.
George Clooney
Almost exclusively, Jim Zone, if you can believe that. He said I cut the legs out from a sitting president. Well, he was sitting because he couldn't stand anymore.
Jimmy Dore
Right?
George Clooney
That's rich. That's rich. Hunter Biden blaming me for why his dad isn't present anymore. It's like, sorry, New Jack shitty, but the truth is Pops was on a flying saucer ride to Alpha Centauri half the time. Why don't you smoke some more crack rock and cry about it?
Jimmy Dore
And apparently he said some nasty stuff about you personally.
George Clooney
Fuck yeah, he did. He said George Clooney's not even really an actor. He's like a brand new. And it's like, first of all, yeah, I'm a brand. And that brand is Cool Cat Incorporated, llc. Bitch. Also. Okay, yeah, I'm not an actor. What's your job, Hunter Biden? What's your job that I can come back and say you aren't any good at? Oh, that's right, the former president's crackhead son. I take it back. No one has ever done that job as well as you have.
Jimmy Dore
Sounds like there's some bad blood here.
George Clooney
Gee, you think? Really? He's the one with the bad blood. I'd hate to see his levels. But then this is what's freaking me out. The interviewer asked him why I wanted his dad to step down. And instead of telling the truth, which is Joe Biden was in cloud cuckoo land. He said it was because Biden wouldn't take my counsel on Gaza.
Jimmy Dore
Really?
George Clooney
And then he claims I was mad because Biden opposed Amal's move to get an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.
Jimmy Dore
Interesting.
George Clooney
Now, Jimmy, you know I'm not a conspiracy guy, but all these forces against us seem to be linked and linked to Amal's work on behalf of the icc. First, this threat from the uk and now for the first time in forever, Hunter Biden crawls out of his crack den in hooker town to say a few words. You. He's implying my support for Gaza indirectly made Donald Trump president.
Jimmy Dore
What does this tell you?
George Clooney
That there are forces trying to delegitimize support for Gaza on both sides. Does that sound crazy?
Jimmy Dore
I think you may be onto something there, George.
George Clooney
I mean, I think I am too. But why me? Why are these forces coming after me? I'm just an actor who wanted to get involved in politics.
Jimmy Dore
Uh huh.
George Clooney
I mean, can a guy be one of the best looking men in the world, become a world famous actor, become a literal billionaire from a liquor company sale, become an active partisan of the Democratic Party, and marry an international human rights lawyer without drawing a bunch of attention to himself?
Jimmy Dore
It looks like. No.
George Clooney
How do you do it, Jim? How do you stay clean?
Jimmy Dore
Because I chose one thing and that's all I do. I have my platform to state my point of view and that's enough for me.
George Clooney
God damn, that must be nice. Yeah, just nice. How quaint, the cabin in the country. Yeah, you can smell that sweet country air now. Well, Jim, I don't know where this goes from here. We're on a virgin territory. I may be assassinated, my wife may be sent to a CIA black site, Hunter Biden might try to smoke me, who knows? But I will persevere. And I will personally keep you abreast of this situation as it develops.
Jimmy Dore
Thanks, George. Appreciate it. Appreciate it, pal.
George Clooney
Oh, and hey, you and I still need to get that Negroni sometime.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, let's. Let's do it in Lake Como. I'd love to come hang out your house. I've driven past your house twice on a boat, so. I know.
George Clooney
Oh, you should have come and stop by.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, you weren't there. You were in Venice. That when I was there. You're at the.
George Clooney
We keep missing each other.
Jimmy Dore
You keep missing each other. Okay. All right, George. Thank you, pal. They had some.
George Clooney
All right, babe. Thank you.
Jimmy Dore
Okay, Clune.
Kurt Metzger
Establishment media sucks. August lighting so good luck.
Jimmy Dore
Bullshit.
Kurt Metzger
We can't afford white home and take.
Jimmy Dore
It'S the chimney door show. It's exciting that Candace Owens being sued by Brigitte McCrone. But not as exciting as seeing me do stand up. August 3rd in Oxnard, California or in Rutherford, New Jersey, or Manhattan at the Village underground. Go to jimmy.com for a link for tickets. NBC reports that French President Macron and his wife filed a defamation lawsuit in the United States against right wing influencer Candace Owens. Centered on her claim that France's first lady is male. Why wouldn't you call her a YouTube news person? Because she gets way bigger ratings than NBC News does. Yes. Anytime she goes on, she has a million people watching. I, I'm gonna bet that's way more than any news show on msnbc. What's that?
Kurt Metzger
You have jokes from it?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, by the way, didn't she just win a. Wasn't a lawsuit. Didn't she win a bet with Piers Morgan?
Jimmy Dore
With Piers. Well, what I'm saying is maybe she can collect that debt from Piers Morgan. Was that. He better. A hundred thousand dollars that Brigitte. And I mean maybe she'll. I don't know where she's gonna collect it at. Maybe the next WEF Blood orgy or whatever, but you know, no rush over that dong money. Yeah. So I don't know. Hey, hey, Candace. Where do you get the balls to claim that Brigitte McCrone has a pair of balls? That's my question.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Jimmy Dore
Can a woman have a cartoonishly exaggerated clitoris and testicles? I mean, come on.
Kurt Metzger
Not in this country.
Jimmy Dore
Who are you to say that means she's a man? I mean most cultures don't believe a drag wig is enough to take that leap. That's all I'm saying.
George Clooney
Yeah.
Jimmy Dore
But here we are. So that's what's happening. And here's the McCrone said in a lawsuit filed in Delaware Supreme Court that Owens has waged a lie filled campaign of global humiliation that's very powerful for a YouTuber to be able to globally humiliate the leader of the Friend of France, by the way.
Kurt Metzger
Fuck France. What do you mean humiliation? I thought we were, I thought they were into that. That's how they come.
Jimmy Dore
I thought. Me too. That's what I. That's what I thought.
Kurt Metzger
Got put a butt plug in the town square of Paris. Remember that?
Jimmy Dore
Remember that? So they call a campaign of global humiliation and relentless bullying. Relentless bullying. So they're going to try and pull some relentless bullying to promote her podcast and expand her frenzied fan base. Listen to all these words they're using.
Kurt Metzger
They got cock fever.
Jimmy Dore
The Macron said the lies included that Brigitte Macron, 72, was born under the name John Michael Trogno and or John Michelle Trogno. And the actual name of. That's the actual name of her older brother. That's what the McCrones claim every time Stealing Trignode. Every. Every time. Every time the McCrones leave their home, they do so knowing that countless people have heard and many believe these vile fabrications. It is just invasive, dehumanizing, and deeply unjust. Well, I think if you're a public figure, you got to take it. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.
Kurt Metzger
I just want you to coke and get your face mushed by your dude wife. Dude.
Jimmy Dore
To prevail in the United States defamation cases, public figures like McCrones and Trump must show defendants engaged in actual malice. What that means is they knew what they published was false or had reckless disregard for the truth. So they are not going to be able to do that because it is obvious that Candace Owens firmly believes what she's saying. And two people, two journalists who just got sued by the Macrons. The French court agreed with the people, saying they didn't think they believed what they were saying. And believe me, Candace Owens. So if you believe what you're saying, it's not actual malice, is it going.
Kurt Metzger
To be some rigged judge or something? Because I honestly have no idea. What court are they suing in.
Jimmy Dore
In some court in. In. In where? In Delaware Superior Court.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, Delaware. Which has more corporations than human beings.
Jimmy Dore
That's right. So there's a reason why they picked Delaware, believe me. So they got a. I bet they got a judge paid off.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I'm sure they have.
Jimmy Dore
I'm sure they do.
Kurt Metzger
Creeps. Delaware has some bad, bad people in it.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
It's an international hub for a lot of.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, a lot of precedents from. That's why all the credit cards are there, right? All the credit cards.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Jimmy Dore
And that.
Kurt Metzger
That's one thing. Sure.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah. So here's what. And you want to hear what Candace says? Here's Candace's response to this lawsuit. Are you ready? Here it comes.
Candace Owens
You were born a man and you will die a man. That's the point I'm making. So give us a sample. I'll send my doctors to take your blood. Figure it out real quick, however you want to go about this. Hey, how about just giving us some pictures again of you growing up, you know, raising your children? That would be fine for whatever reason, to phone, by the way. Like I said, we'll get to the bottom of it. Right. That is what discovery is for. And ask a lot of questions. You're probably hoping, oh, you know, which, this will go away. And at least we'll say we sued her, we'll say we went after her. You know, she'll probably file for this to get dismissed. I'd like to make it to discovery. I think that we owe that to the world. Anyways, you guys, we are revolting against this. We're revolting against the perverts that run the world. And I want to be very clear here. I count you among them. I think you're sick. I think you're disgusting. And I am fully prepared to take on this battle on behalf of the entire world. Okay, that's what I'm going to say. On behalf of the entire world. I will see you in court.
Jimmy Dore
So that's pretty powerful. She's. She's not backing down whatsoever. She's full throttle. Because there is no way they're going to win this lawsuit if it's a fair trial, unless they have the judge threatened by the Mossad or if they have them paid off or something. Something's happening. There's a reason why they filed it in Delaware. And as Kurt points out, very corrupt. And so that's what she has to say. Let me, if you want to hear it again.
Candace Owens
You were born a man and you will die a man.
Jimmy Dore
She is not backing down. And it's just amazing for the most powerful people in France, which means they are maybe the most powerful people in Europe, claiming that a YouTuber is. Could bully them. They could be bullied by a YouTuber. They're bullied.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Jimmy Dore
So.
Stefano
But it's still, it's still no scandal that Brigitte Macron.
Jimmy Dore
Well, that's the real scandal went out.
Stefano
With him when he was 15. I bet you it was even younger. There's a 25 year difference. Say it again.
Kurt Metzger
Okay, so 15 is what Candace found from all the old things. They kept raising the year when they'd bring it up like 16, 17 to make it not as bad, you know, try to get up to a Seinfeld in that chick age.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, so. So there's a lot of people saying this. She's cooked. Absolutely cooked. They're saying that Candace is cooked because. Because the McCrones are suing her. They're saying she's cooked. How cooked is she? Brighten? Is she Biden's brain cooked or is she Democratic Party cooked? She's not Ukraine cooked. Right. Because that's way too cooked. Am I right?
Kurt Metzger
It can't be that bad Ukraine bad, can it?
Jimmy Dore
Apparently I follow this person, Sean Faresh. So I don't know. I don't know. Why won't Candace bottom. I think that. I think this Twitter person is right. Why won't Candace stop Bullying this perfectly normal biological woman who groomed a 15 year old student when she was his teacher in her mid four, in her mid forties. I mean, and now they rule France together. Have you no decency, Candace?
Kurt Metzger
Why are you tearing down their beautiful love stories with wiener tales? So long tales.
Jimmy Dore
So Tom Claire, who's representing the McCrones announced the lawsuit in a release on Wednesday, the McCrones filed their 218 page lawsuit. The lawsuit calls Owens various claims outlandish, defamatory, far fetched fictions and they say he had caused relentless. Owens, a popular right wing podcaster, had posted to X in 2024. After looking into this, I would stake my entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron is in fact a man. And I'm just going to guess that people who are. Because there's a lot of people saying this isn't just Sean. So this is common, like it's hot, like I think it might even been trending. She's cooked a lot of people using that exact same verbiage, which is kind of interesting, isn't it Kurt, that they would use the exact.
Kurt Metzger
A lot of people say an RFK brain worm. Remember when they said he must have a worm in his brain rfk. And we all said it together because we all say the thing together. Your cook, your brainworm must be cooked.
Jimmy Dore
So a lot of people are saying that, not just our friend Sean, who I follow apparently. So here's another person, Robert, another guy I follow, Robert Barnes. He also says, oh, Owens queen Candace is cooked. They're all saying how would she be cooked? So, and then they. So because, because this person here, Bugman Hegel, who I don't follow, says Candace is so screwed. It's a solid complaint.
Kurt Metzger
It is not a solid complaint.
Jimmy Dore
It is not a solid complaint. And she is not cooked.
Kurt Metzger
Just because Robert Barnes talking about, isn't he a lawyer that knows something about law?
Jimmy Dore
Robert Barnes is a good lawyer as far as I can tell.
Kurt Metzger
So why would she be cooked about?
Jimmy Dore
I mean, because they have to prove this. So they have to prove this. They have to prove that Candace Owens knew that it was false when she said it. She truly believes it. That's why those other two people that the McCrones just sued the French court sided with the people that the McCrones were suing. So Macron's lost that lawsuit. They sided with those two people because the judge said that those two people who sent you as a man really believed it. You can't tell me there's a. There's not a chance in hell that Candace Owens doesn't believe. And if you see, and I'm guessing maybe, maybe these people, maybe these people, Sean and Robert, maybe they haven't seen her series. I have seen her series. It's super compelling and it's super compelling. And so here's so they. And they, they leak. They link to this page. This page is nothing. I'll read it to you. It says, in March, Candace Owens, a right wing pocket, told the world she would stake her entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron, the first lady of France, is in fact a man. Since then, Owens has used this false statement to promote her independent platform, gain notoriety and make money. Owens disregard got disregarded all credible evidence disproving her claim in favor of platforming known conspiracy theorists and proven defamers. And rather than engage with President and Mrs. McCrone's attempts to set the record straight, Owens mocked them and used them as additional fodder for her frenzied fan base. So this is what they're linking. When they say she's cooked, they link to this that I don't. So they didn't link to the part for whatever reason, they didn't tweet out the part that shows she's cooked, but because there's nothing in that that shows she's cooked whatsoever.
Kurt Metzger
In fact, some Zionist bullshit from Robert Barnes, Is that what that is? As Fry Viva Fry knows him. I want to know why in the hell Robert Barnes would say something that's stupid. I even know that law from having to go through shit with that. And it's very hard to prove. Okay?
Jimmy Dore
They're not going to be able to prove it. If she gets a jury. She's not. They're not going to be able to prove it. So Ian Carroll says everyone's saying Candace is cooked. The McCrones are going to break up. Candace clearly don't know this, the state of play, the story or the evidence. They couldn't pin two relatively small French journalists on their home turf for defamation. Candace went into this story with her lawyer pre gaming. Pre gaming. Is that what he says? Pre gaming. That's what he says. Pregaming. She was taught by Xavier Poussard what the first family would do. This is the greatest gift they could have given to her.
Stefano
And.
Jimmy Dore
And she knows it. There is growing non0 chance that Candace Owens will topple the Macron government.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I hope that's what it is, because I love the Piers Morgan bet. Does Robert Barnes not know the Piers Morgan bet?
Jimmy Dore
I don't. I don't know. Maybe. Maybe it is some kind of Zionist thing. Who knows?
Kurt Metzger
Some Israel bullshit. Because why? Why would you make a call that stupid if you're a qualified lawyer?
Jimmy Dore
I don't know. Maybe he knows something we don't know. But what they tweeted out isn't anything.
Kurt Metzger
Tweet that part out then.
Jimmy Dore
I know. Why don't you tweet out the part? Here's the part. So this is what I like. Mike. Vegas Mike. Hey, Vegas. Mike. McCrone's parents had to transfer him out of the school because of the relationship between 14 year old McCrone and his 39 year old teacher, Brigitte. They literally put this in the lawsuit. You want to hear what they put in the lawsuit? This is real, by the way.
Kurt Metzger
She was mid-40s, not 39. That's a lie.
Stefano
Yeah, no kidding.
Jimmy Dore
She was. She was older than 39.
Kurt Metzger
Yes.
Stefano
That her age changes all the time.
Kurt Metzger
In the psychopath is making herself younger in the complaint that they should have been putting this part in.
Jimmy Dore
So here it is.
Kurt Metzger
What is Robert Barnes talking about?
Jimmy Dore
It says, through the school's theater program, President Macron and Mrs. McCrone formed a deeper intellectual connection. Intellectual connection with a 15 year old.
Kurt Metzger
Boy with 15 14.
Jimmy Dore
During a school production of Jacques and his Master, President Macron played the lead role. Under Ms. McCrone's direction, he later undertook an ambitious rewrite of another play, the Art of Comedy, to create roles for more students. Mrs. McCrone. Mrs. McCrone agreed to guide him.
Stefano
Okay, you know what? I have to stop right there and have to say in this legal document. At that point, she wasn't Mrs. McCrone.
Jimmy Dore
No, she was.
Stefano
Why aren't they using her? Her real name.
Jimmy Dore
Right. Yeah. So. And it says Mrs. McCrone agreed to guide him. And the two began meeting regularly to collaborate on the project. At all times, the teacher student relationship between Mrs. McCrone and President McCrone remained within the bounds of the law.
Stefano
Okay.
Jimmy Dore
But when President McCrone's parents became aware of his strong feelings for his teacher. Oh, it was his feelings, not her feelings towards him. They decided to transfer him to Lycee Henry iv in Paris. Mrs. McCrone encouraged him to leave.
Stefano
Oh, she's so.
Jimmy Dore
And was confident he would fall in love with a peer. Yet before his departure, he told her, whatever you do, I will marry you. President Macron, completed teenager.
Stefano
The teenager saying this to a grown up.
Jimmy Dore
So they put this in their complaint that this happened.
Stefano
Such a beautiful love story.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, cooked. Candace is cooked. How does a dick in any way make that story worse. It's so disgusting right now. I guess it makes it one dick worse. I measure stories in dicks. This with the no dick. It's about one dick less is bad a story.
Jimmy Dore
Here's my. Here's my favorite right at the end. And it says, In 2008, President Macron joined Rothschilds. That's the Rothschild Bank. That's the banking. Right. Isn't that right? And C Bank as an investment banker where he achieved notable success with the Rothchilds.
Kurt Metzger
Hey, did Brigitte get her dick removed with a Jewish space laser?
Jimmy Dore
So they need their own theme song lyrics, I think. Guy with a tie and a chick with a dick. She's 30 years older. It makes Candace sick. Something like that.
Kurt Metzger
That's a great Billy Joel tune. That's a scene from a French restaurant.
Jimmy Dore
Yes, Scenes from a French restaurant.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. I don't remember how the song goes.
Jimmy Dore
But that's a. Cernovich has something funny. You know, he's. He says. Lawyer enters the courtroom. Lawyer says, your honor, Candace Owens has besmirched the reputation of my client. The judge says, state your case, lawyer. Ms. Owens said it's inappropriate for a 39 year old to have a relationship with a 15 year old judge spits out coffee.
Kurt Metzger
By the way, again, 14 years old. That's what McCrones are claiming. Not, I said 15. The misinformation, which was pretty bad. Their lawsuit says 14. That's insane.
Jimmy Dore
So what?
Kurt Metzger
Also, she was like 45 or some shit.
Jimmy Dore
What's next? They're going to be telling you that it's inappropriate to walk down the beach with a full erection and a cocktail umbrella sticking out of the end of it. What? What? I mean, unless you're Klaus Schwab, then it's okay because it's your beach.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, I guess you're funny about giant butt plugs in the center of Paris for Christmas.
Jimmy Dore
So that's the story and that's the funny part. My prediction, Candace Owen will win this lawsuit. This will be a boon to her career and hopefully I'll catch a little bit of it. Jimmy Dore
It's exciting that Candace Owens being sued by Brigitte McCrone. But not as exciting as seeing me do stand up August 3rd in Oxnard, California or in Rutherford, New Jersey or Manhattan at the Village Underground. Go to jimmy doe.com for a link for tickets. So what I want people to know about this case with the Candace Owen being sued. Candace Owens being sued by Brigitte Macron and the French president because she said that Brigitte Macron's a man. What I want people to know is that I'm also mentioned in the lawsuit.
Kurt Metzger
This is why it's important guys.
Jimmy Dore
So all I want. This is why it's important. So there.
Kurt Metzger
We got some shows coming up.
Jimmy Dore
So it says Jimmy Owens repeated her false claims in an episode encouraging viewers to reject scientific findings in favor of following their gut. On July 7, 2004, Owens presented these false claims on the Jimmy Dore Show. Jimmy Dore is a stand up comedian turned political commentator who regularly promotes conspiracy theories. All I have to say, you know what I say about that? Go.
Kurt Metzger
Ride some of that sweet, sweet Candace coattails. I hope.
Jimmy Dore
I got it in. I'm in it.
Kurt Metzger
Robert, did you read this before you tweeted? She's cooked. Look at this nonsense.
Jimmy Dore
This is nonsense.
Kurt Metzger
He promoted a conspiracy, Jimmy.
Jimmy Dore
By the way, every conspiracy I've ever been accused of pushing has turned into a conspiracy fact. Whether it be Russiagate Whether it be the Democrats recovering for Hillary's health problems, whether it be Syria gas attacks, whether it be the Ukraine war, Whether it be. Whether it be Covid and masks and lockdown and where the virus came from. And Fauci's a liar. And lockdowns were no science. And the vaccine didn't stop transmission and contraction. No matter what the side effects, the adverse events way higher than any other vaccine in the. No matter what it was. I was right about that. Was called the conspiracy theory. I was called a grifter. Everything I ever said turned out to be true. 100% true.
Kurt Metzger
No specifics. What's the part that was incorrect again? I just know. Conspiracy theory.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Be real specific about which one was wrong so I can.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Pick it apart and trash you.
Jimmy Dore
So the. The term conspiracy theory is. No, it's just like when they were calling Bernie Sanders a sexist. It doesn't. Once you do that, it means nothing anymore.
Kurt Metzger
So now made up by that scumbag Hollywood producer. I thought it was Dulles, but I guess he commissioned that jerk off.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
To come up with the term golden age Harvey Weinstein.
Jimmy Dore
So they started to weaponize the term conspiracy theorist over the JFK assassination because CIA didn't. They wanted to be able to discredit this why they called 911. The engineers who say that the buildings could not have fallen the way that we were told. And they call them truthers. So now they've made the word truth toxic. So they have. These are the things they try to do.
Kurt Metzger
Truth or.
Jimmy Dore
So they do.
Kurt Metzger
Liar.
Jimmy Dore
They do this to discredit people who. Who are onto their conspiracies. Remember all the conspiracy is two people got together to decide to do something. Two people or more decided to get together and commit a crime or do something.
Kurt Metzger
It's on the books. Is a real thing. People are charged with conspiracy. Me to think it's not real to you.
Jimmy Dore
People are charged with conspiracy to commit crimes every day in court across the country. Every day.
Kurt Metzger
Let me help. Dipshit liberal. My retard friends in New York try to think of it like this. A conspiracy. When I say conspiracy, think of it as a collusion. You know how you think a collusion is a thing and you could.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, Collusion. Like Trump. It's just a Trump colluded with Russia. They usually say Trump was conspiring with Russia, but they didn't want to call themselves conspiracy theorists, so they said collusion.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. Collusion theorist is like a conspiracy theorist is a pussy.
Jimmy Dore
So speaking of pussy, ass, pussy.
Kurt Metzger
Like the one Brigitte Macron has.
Stefano
Well, you know, it's interesting right here, Jimmy. It says to reject scientific findings in favor of following their gut. What scientific findings has the Macron represented at all in this case? I haven't read anything scientific.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, she won't even show a picture of herself before she was 30.
Kurt Metzger
I like to talk to scientists who establish her dong. That's a great point.
Jimmy Dore
And so, so I'm in it and I want to say thanks to a Laura Powell who let me know I was in it. I didn't know I was in it until she tweeted out. Thanks, Laura.
Kurt Metzger
You're so cooked, Jimmy.
Jimmy Dore
I'm cooked also.
Kurt Metzger
I don't know what that means, but I'm going to say it every day now.
Jimmy Dore
Candace Owens tweeted out. For those who haven't seen the Becoming Brigitte series, start here. It will take just one episode for you to realize the truth.
Kurt Metzger
That's true.
Jimmy Dore
It truly is a much washed series. It is. I've watched it. It truly is a much washed. The McCrones aren't suing journalists halfway around the world because we lied. If they were lying, they would just dismiss it as lies. That's my theory anyway. You don't, you don't give this much attention.
Kurt Metzger
This is the same reason why this mistake.
Jimmy Dore
This the same reason why I don't bring on. Yeah, Tom Cruise made this mistake when he jumped up on the couch to say I really like women. Remember that? It was a little bit. He was a little over the top on, on Oprah's couch. You remember that, Kurt, Right? That's what you're talking about.
Kurt Metzger
No, it wasn't quite the level of Will Smith's new video I like Pretty Girls Day for its day.
Jimmy Dore
It was really something for its day. So what was I just saying? I was in the middle of. Oh, so yeah, that's another reason why if you make a, a bad faith slander of me, something you know is not true, and then a lot of people have done that and say, well, bring me on your show and, and, and challenge me. No, you don't get to make a false act. Because some people will do that. Some people will like. Some people will. If you say negative things about them that aren't true, they'll bring you on their show. I don't do that. I've decided 10 years ago when I started this show that there's too many of those people and they do it all the time. They'll go.
Kurt Metzger
Certainly not if they're following is less than your following. And they'll you get out of that.
Jimmy Dore
And so, yes, they say. They say, bring me on the show. And I'm like, I can't. So I have a rule that I don't. I almost broke it recently, but I didn't. But I have a rule. If you. If you're making a bad faith argument about me. I'm not. Not only am I not going to mention it, but I'm not going to bring you on the show.
Kurt Metzger
Here's what you should do, Jimmy.
Jimmy Dore
What?
Kurt Metzger
For someone with a bigger audience than yours to ask you about it and bypass the little shit that's doing their little. That's to get clout all together. Now, by the way, a fair question. Let's say it's a fair criticism. We can handle that in super chats. You don't got to come on for that. We've just answered on the show.
Stefano
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
There's no reason not to answer it. And I'll be happy to answer all everybody's questions, but bring me on to do it. Because you understand a lot of people are operatives that are basically a human fart that's there to put stink on your name just by being next to you.
Jimmy Dore
So there you have it.
Stefano
Okay, let me ask a question. Okay. So really, what harm and injury is this doing to the Macron family? Like, really, seriously?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, it's making them sad.
Kurt Metzger
We got so sad she almost hung herself with her own dick. Wouldn't you be sorry then, Stev?
Stefano
Yes, I would. You know what? I think I'm on another side of this because I'm thinking of getting a T shirt that says, I stand with Brigitte and her dick.
Jimmy Dore
Oh, come on.
Stefano
Don't you think that would be good?
Jimmy Dore
No.
Kurt Metzger
Stand with who? Brigitte and her dick. Oh, I thought it rhymed for a second.
Jimmy Dore
Well, she said Bridget, but it's Brigitte. This is from USA Today. Trump just signed an order pushing cities and states to remove homeless people from the streets. Now, we had Dr. Drew on and he explained to us that there's laws that you can't just take somebody off the street if they don't want to be taken. But get this. Trump signed an order directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to seek to reverse federal and state judicial precedents and end consent decrees that limit local and state governments ability to move homeless people from streets and encampments into treatment centers. That's what this says. I'm reading it to you. So he's trying to get the law reversed. That makes it hard for you to get a homeless person off the streets and into treatment. The move, first reported by USA Today, also redirects federal funds to ensure the homeless people impacted are transferred to rehabilitation, treatment and other facilities, though it was not clear how much money would be allocated.
Kurt Metzger
You know, it sounds great, but in light of the other things, what are the odds?
Jimmy Dore
What are the odds that they do this correctly? Under the order which the White House has titled Ending Crime and Disorder on America's Streets, Bondi is also required to work with the Secretaries of Health and Human Services. By the way, do we, do we, do we have places to put these people? I thought they closed all the mental health hospitals and treatment centers. Do it. Do they all mad? Do. Can we. Are they all mad?
Kurt Metzger
Deported to countries with health care?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah. Are they going to deport them to countries with health care? Under the order which the White House has titled Ending Crime and Disorder on American Streets, Bondi is also required to work with the Secretaries of Health and Human Services. That means rfk, Housing and Urban Development and Transportation to prioritize federal grants to states and cities that enforce prohibition on open illicit drug use, urban camping and loitering and urban squatting and track the location of sex offenders. So this seems like more of a carrot approach that Trump is going to. I'm going to give money to states and cities that do this that.
Kurt Metzger
Are they going to cover up for the sex offenders like they did with the rich ones? Are they going to do that for the homeless ones?
Jimmy Dore
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, in a statement to USA Today, said Trump is delivering on his commitment to make America safe again and end homelessness across America. But by removing, we'll see, by removing vagrant criminals from our street and redirecting resources towards substance abuse programs, the Trump administration will ensure that Americans feel safe in their own communities and that individuals suffering from addiction or mental health struggles are able to get help that they need. Well, if that's how it works out, hooray. If that's how this works out. I don't understand why cities and states can't do that. Like, we spent $24 billion in California the last few years trying to help homeless people. But of course, none of that money saw it to the homeless people. It went right into the pockets of the non government organization. So instead of the government just hiring a bunch of people to go help homeless people and get them into treatment centers, they didn't, they didn't hire anybody. They gave a contract to a company that is connected to somebody in government and they Gave them all these millions of dollars and then they take those millions of dollars and they give it to all their friends and family.
Kurt Metzger
You know how absurd this is that some idiot's going to go, what, do you want the government to do it? No, I want them to go through a series of cutouts. Yeah, I'm sure that's more capitalist and efficient than them just do, hey, here's an idea. Hire some H1B visa illegal aliens to do it.
Jimmy Dore
To do it.
Kurt Metzger
There's probably a job Americans don't want.
Jimmy Dore
So this is in San Diego. That's in San Diego.
Kurt Metzger
Why don't you arrest Newsom? Why don't you release the Epstein stuff and all the stuff they have on all the evil people in this country or at least hold it over the governors who are no doubt involved in everything and force them to do their job that they should have been had done so.
Jimmy Dore
Trump's action comes after the Supreme Court ruled in June that people without homes can be arrested and fined for sleeping in public spaces, overturning a lower courts ruling that enforcing camping bans when shelter is lacking is cruel and unusual punishment. So you're going to arrest. So you're going to take someone off the street, arrest them, put them into a jail, which in California costs $120,000 a year. Why wouldn't you just go give that person an apartment for $30,000 a year?
Kurt Metzger
Why not build a tiny home? Or any number of things that people have tried to do and they haven't been successful. Because the graph doesn't want a successful program.
Jimmy Dore
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
Because they make money on this problem.
Jimmy Dore
That's right. Because there's a lot of people making billions of dollars on keeping the homeless problem a problem.
Kurt Metzger
Hey, does Thomas all that great intellectual, maybe he has an idea of how we can conservator this to make it work out. Because the private option seems to be bullshit.
Jimmy Dore
Yes, it is. In a 6 to 3 decision split amongst ideological lines in the conservative majority court, they upheld a ban in Grant Pass, Oregon prohibiting homeless residents from sleeping outdoors. Homeless residents of the southern Oregon city of 38,000 face fines starting at $250 in jail time for repeat offenses. So you're going to, you're going to find people who have no money and you're going to put them in jail for not. You're going to give them three meals a day and shelter for, for them not having shelter.
Kurt Metzger
Will it be in America?
Jimmy Dore
Can you think of a dumber way to handle this problem? Put them in prison cells you know much prison cells cost? I'm just telling you, In California, it's 120,000. Check. Check me on that.
Stefano
Yeah, that's about right, Jimmy.
Jimmy Dore
So why wouldn't you? Why. So what they actually need. So the, the homeless people that people are upset about are the people who have mental problems and are drug addicts. And there's a lot of homeless people who actually, you don't see. They're the ones living in shelters. They're the ones. So this is only to get the people off the street. The, the mentally ill people and the drug addicts. $132,862,000 a year it costs to lock somebody up in cash. California.
Stefano
That's the average annual cost. That's the.
Jimmy Dore
That's the average annual cost. Don't you.
Kurt Metzger
It's slow pokes to be guards for really low pay. So where's that money go?
Jimmy Dore
It.
Stefano
It's risen by 90% in the last decade. By 90%.
Jimmy Dore
There's a lot of money in private prisons, I'll tell you that. So. So here's what the National Homelessness association says. They condemned Trump's order, characterizing it as misguided at best and counterproductive and dangerous at worst. The safest communities are those with the most housing and resources, not those that make it a crime to be poor and sick, said Jesse Rabinowitz of the National Homeless Law Center. As a licensed mental health professional, I know that forced treatment is unethical, ineffective and illegal. People need stable housing and access to health care. Rabinowitz said. Rather, Trump's action will force more people into homelessness, divert taxpayer money away from people in need, and make it harder for local communities to solve homelessness. Across the United states, more than 771,000 people lived without housing in 2024, according to HUD count. And taken annually on a single night in January, it was the highest tally ever recorded, an 18% jump over 2023, when officials counted 650,000 people living in homeless shelters or in parks or on streets. Many cities have struggled to build more affordable housing in recent years, while some communities have pushed for harsher laws banning tents and sleeping in public spaces. How about if we take some of that $300 billion that we just sent to Ukraine and the extra $200 billion Trump's giving the Pentagon, that's like half a trillion dollars. I bet we could build housing for people. Those tiny houses they were going to build, remember? We could build. We could do. We could have. We could build treatment centers.
Kurt Metzger
We could have slum for them.
Jimmy Dore
We could give people things, we could do this, but we're not going to do it.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, because real estate developers want that there to buy up all that. Don't you remember they're trying to herd you into a 15 minute city in all these places. So if you don't make $10 million a year, you're not middle class. Just so you know what the numbers are Now Trump make 10 million.
Jimmy Dore
Trump has often expressed his distaste of homeless camps, singling out the removal of encampments on parks and federal land in Washington as a priority. Trump in 23, in a 23 campaign video said, we will use every tool level and authority to get the homeless off our streets. We want to take care of them, but they have to be off our streets.
Kurt Metzger
Well, they do, but are you going to take care of them?
Jimmy Dore
But are you going to take care of them? I mean, the idea to throw a homeless person in jail for sleeping in public, why wouldn't you just go give them, get them a hotel room, it's cheaper. Why wouldn't you go get them an apartment for illegals?
Kurt Metzger
We need them for illegal immigrants.
Jimmy Dore
Right.
Kurt Metzger
While we deport legal immigrants. That's why way more than you should pay to put them in luxury hotels. Illegals. While homeless citizens could go die.
Jimmy Dore
Other items in Trump's order include language that seeks to ensure that grants intended for substance use, disorder prevention and recovery don't fund drug injection sites or illegal drug use. The order also prohibits convicted sex offenders who receive homelessness assistance from being housed with children and supports new homeless programs to exclusively house women and children. Well, that's good.
Kurt Metzger
Was that not happening?
Jimmy Dore
I guess. Was that not happening already?
Kurt Metzger
Am I. Should I be grateful that this basic thing that should be obvious to an idiot that knows nothing is signed in like.
Jimmy Dore
So this is like, this is a problem not just of the United States. This is a Western world problem. We were just in the uk, we saw it there. This is not, this is, this is the, you know, the open borders and the homelessness. It's like it's some kind of WEF plan. Just like Tucker Carlson talked about when he was on our show. To make people desperate for authoritarian solutions. That's what it seems like.
Kurt Metzger
Can I, you know, you want Palantir to track down.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, Palant, that's right.
Stefano
So Common Dreams is covering this story, too. And Scott Katovich, senior staff attorney with the ACLU's Trone center for Justice and Equality, tied to the order, the Republican Party's broader agenda, saying that from the so called big beautiful bill that will strip health care from millions to this dangerous executive order, every action this administration takes displays remarkable disdain for rights and dignity of vulnerable people. So they're going to be removing support for people.
Jimmy Dore
So, so they're taking away people's health care that's going to create more homeless people. And then it sounds like they're going to be locking them up. So it sounds like a police state solution to a economic problem.
Kurt Metzger
Hey, you live in Gaza now. How you like that?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
Hey, it looks like you're going to live in Gaza.
Jimmy Dore
Did you see how much money they're going to give ICE to build prisons? Did you see that, Kurt? No. Yeah, look, see, look at, look that up. It's, it's, it's bill. It's billions and billions, tens of billions of dol. To build new prisons for ice. So that's what this sounds like. This sounds like we're not going to give you more health care.
Stefano
45 billion to ice.
Jimmy Dore
45 billion to ice. So we're not going to give you more health care. We're not even going to give you good wages. We're not going to reinvigorate the middle class, but we will send you to jail. So we're going to endless money. So this sounds like an acceleration of the police state. It certainly is an acceleration of the surveillance state. That's what, that's what's all the Trump and his big beautiful bill is all about.
Kurt Metzger
Sounds like the Cali Yuga is what goddamn sounds like.
Jimmy Dore
I don't know what that is.
Kurt Metzger
Accelerationism. Why don't we speed up the end of everything and just see where it goes? That's what the tech freaks are into.
Jimmy Dore
Wow.
Stefano
You know, instead, you know, I know we had that conversation with Dr. Drew talking about how hard it is to give actual help assistance to people that are on the street.
Jimmy Dore
Right.
Stefano
Because in other words, you're, you're like kidnapping them, you know, and you know, you're trying to give them something that will benefit and help them. But at the same time I'm thinking of the real issue for me, and I've been saying this for years, is elder care. Where is the programs for elder care? How many of our families have aging parents? And what are we supposed to do? How helpless do young families feel to try to support an elder in their family? What expendable money do we all have?
Jimmy Dore
Well, the big beautiful bill actually cuts it. So a lot of people in nursing homes are on Medicaid. So they're cutting that money.
Kurt Metzger
There you go.
Jimmy Dore
And so it's not solving a problem, it's making a problem worse. And their answer is lock them up. So we'll see if they actually put money into treatment programs and actual housing for these people. But if the idea, again, there couldn't be a crazier idea than to take a person who's sleeping on the sidewalk because they don't have any money for an apartment and. And then pay $130,000 a year to put them in a jail cell, why wouldn't you just take $30,000 and put them in an apartment? And if they need mental health and if they need health care, give them health care. What? What?
Kurt Metzger
That's for illegals. That's not for people. That's right here. Why not take money out of the goddamn CIA who brought all the fentanyl and all the crack and all that shit into this fucking country? Why are they still even a thing after they created this problem?
Stefano
It's interesting that they want to take the most vulnerable off the street, but there's not one war criminal in my lifetime that will ever face justice.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, of course.
Kurt Metzger
Well, if there's any consolations, obviously the money will never go to that and just be stolen by someone.
Jimmy Dore
So. Yeah.
Stefano
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
And you can pray. You can all pray that they, you know, genetically engineer a new virus out of bird flu to clean out your old folks like they did with COVID That's your only hope now. You didn't want a bird. New bird flu. So how are we gonna thin out the herd? Because there are too many old people and we're not paying for all this. Even with Bill Gates poop water machine, we won't be able to supply all the needs of everyone. So you didn't want to gain a function, research, but that's why we do.
Stefano
That, you know, and also just. Just to go back to this whole thing. None of these programs are any of the programs that I remembered hearing any Democrat ever talk about improving. Like, what Democrat has ever come out and started to talk about that we.
Jimmy Dore
Want to help the homeless, that nobody has a plan. I said.
Kurt Metzger
To get tampons in the boys room.
Jimmy Dore
That's right. I said that. During the campaign, Trump had this idea that he was going to put them all out in camps, you know, outside of cities. I go, at least he's talking about it. Nobody. No Democrats even talking about. They don't even talk about, oh, why.
Kurt Metzger
Not train him to be terrorists so the FBI has something to catch and they can blow us up and Traumatize us for more. We wars and more. More. Hey, I'll brainstorm. We can have even more police, state laws. You train these homeless to be terrorists, you'll set them loose on everyone. They'll be begging for a nice, smart city.
Jimmy Dore
I mean, why don't I get hired?
Kurt Metzger
Talk to her.
Jimmy Dore
I mean, there's a part of me that's sad that I don't have children, but then there's another part of me that's glad because this, this is their dick off. This is an unsustainable system we're living in. And it's run by, you know, criminals who are blackmailed for. For pedophilia.
Kurt Metzger
And they're planning ahead for a thing they call global governance.
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
Kurt Metzger
Why that's not more ominous to people. And that's why your kids were going to sexually mutilate them so they can't reproduce. Because we think in generations, we don't think in, you know, trending like the average moron cow does, which is what they made us all into.
Jimmy Dore
Wow. So we'll see what happens with Donald Trump. So the real reason why they killed Gaddafi is he wanted to have a currency for Africa. And he wanted Africa to unite against the exploitations of the western world. So they had to kill him. So there's a new guy trying to do that in Africa right now. So guess what is going to happen to him? They're going to kill him.
Kurt Metzger
I know. I love this guy too. I think it's great he's doing that, but.
Jimmy Dore
So Burkino Faso President Abraham Traori. Is that how you say it? Announces a bold plan to unite the African continent under one system. He wants to create a United States of Africa where all African countries will come together as one. There will be one government system, one currency allowed called Afro money, and one African passport. All Africans will be able to travel freely without visas. And he also said the wealth of Africa should be shared equally among all countries so no one is left behind. That's why they kill everybody. That's why they killed. They killed. They got rid of the guy Mosaddegh when he was running Iran in 1954 because he wanted to keep the oil profits for their own people. Immediately the CIA overthrew him.
Kurt Metzger
Do you know that the Shah got thrown because the trilaterals wanted to put in the Ayatollah? Because the shah minorly wasn't doing what they wanted.
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
Kurt Metzger
So he. That dictator was even good enough for the one they put in the Ayatollah.
Jimmy Dore
And so. And so the same thing. The reason why they killed Gaddafi. Under Gaddafi, Libya had the highest standard of living in all of Africa. What sealed Gaddafi's fate was his plan to create a Pan African gold based currency to release the continent from the shackles of the petrodollar. The this could be, this couldn't be tolerated by the West. The rest is history. That's why they killed him. Well I remember we've covered that on this show many times. We've told you. And that's another truth that I don't think Jon Stewart will ever tell you either.
Kurt Metzger
Well, he doesn't know. Do you ever see Gaddafi Mad Dog Killer on Showtime? It was a documentary about when we kill one of these people, we make like a good and we killed a bad man.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, yeah.
Kurt Metzger
So they talked about and they, they made it like he had this cuckoo idea that he was going to unite Africa under a currency and he's like a tin pot dictator. And I had no idea what the petrodollar was when I saw that. Okay, that's where they're laughing at, the very idea of that. But that is why they kill these people.
Jimmy Dore
So let's watch this. More speculation has been raised on the reasons for NATO's intervention in Libya. And as Aarti's Laura Emmett reports, the.
Kurt Metzger
Organization may have been trying to prevent.
Jimmy Dore
Gaddafi from burying the American buck.
News Anchor
According to. For some it's about protecting civilians.
Jimmy Dore
We must not tolerate this regime using military force against its own people.
News Anchor
Others say it's about oil.
Kurt Metzger
The only reason they're interested with Libya.
Jimmy Dore
Is about the oil. You think we'd be in Iraq if the major export there was broccoli.
News Anchor
But some are convinced intervention in Libya is all about currency. Specifically Gaddafi's plan to introduce the gold dinar, a single African currency made from gold, a true sharing of the wealth.
Jimmy Dore
It's one of these things that you have to plan almost in secret because as soon as you say you're going to change over from the dollar to something else, you're going to be targeted. There were two conferences on this one in 96 and another one in the year 2000 called the World Mataba Conference Organization organized by Gaddafi and everybody was interested. I think most countries in Africa were keen.
News Anchor
Gaddafi didn't give up. In the months leading up to the military intervention, he called on African and Muslim nations to join together to create this new currency that would rival the dollar and euro. They would sell oil and other resources around the world only for gold dinars. It's an idea that would shift the Economic balance of the world countries wealth would depend on how much gold they have, not how many dollars they trade. And Libya has 144 tons of gold, the UK has double that, but 10 times the population.
Kurt Metzger
If Gaddafi had an intent to try to reprice his oil or whatever else the country was selling in the global markets and accept something else as a currency or, or maybe launch a gold in our currency, any move such as that would certainly not be welcomed by the power elite today who are responsible for controlling the world's central banks. So yes, that would certainly be something that would cause his immediate dismissal and the need for other reasons to be brought forth for removing him from power.
Jimmy Dore
So that's why, if you haven't watched the show before and the segments we've done on why they killed Libya or Qaddafi and overthrew Libya, that's why he was going to create a dinar, a dollar for all of Africa that would compete with the euro and the American dollar. And they can't have that. That's exactly what that. Because that's how we control Africa, because we have the US reserve currency as the reserve currency of the, of the world. And that's how, that's why we can put sanctions on countries and things like that. And that's why there's brics now. And that's what they, that was, he was way ahead of it, Gaddafi, trying to get off the US dollar and they stopped it and they did it by killing him. And of course they told everybody he was a bad person. Even though his country was doing the best of any country in Africa. They had the highest standard of living, everybody had education, everybody had a house, everybody had health care, everybody had housing, everybody had everything. And then we had to overthrow and now we turn it into a failed state run by terrorists because that's better.
Kurt Metzger
Burkina Faso, they got destabilized because what we did. That's why the Burkina Faso guy is sick of us in France that destabilized all the countries around it. That's how that guy got in there. You know that, right?
Jimmy Dore
No.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. Burkina Faso is one of the directly affected nations by overthrowing Gaddafi that way. They're sick of that shit.
Jimmy Dore
Just as our strength lies in unified policy and action for progress and development, so the strength of the imperialists lies in our disunity. We in Africa can only meet them effectively by presenting a unified front and a continental purpose. So that's what they don't want. That's what the west, the wef, NATO, the United States, that's what they don't want. They don't want people in just like they don't want us coming together in the United States. They don't want the countries of Africa coming together. They need to keep them fighting amongst each other so they can control them.
Kurt Metzger
Like mafia is the mafia thing I've ever heard.
Jimmy Dore
On this day in 1966, the US and Britain colluded in a coup that deposed Kwame Nick Moma, the first leader of independent Ghana and co founder of a non aligned movement because they considered his Pan Africanist politics to be a threat to Western interests. In the reason they've been doing this since forever. This isn't new. The day will come when history will speak. But it will not be the history which will be taught in Brussels, Paris, Washington or the United Nations. Africa will write its own history and in both north and south it will be the history of glory and dignity. So that was Patrice Lumumba.
Kurt Metzger
He didn't last long after that.
Jimmy Dore
No. After committing one of the most brutal genocides in history, Belgium partnered with the CIA to assassinate Congo's first leader, Patrice Lumumba, a brilliant Pan Africanist who sought to unite Africa against neo colonialism. They then dissolved his, dissolved his body in sulfuric acid. So that's what the west does in Africa.
Kurt Metzger
Africa's to you, they do it to your kids too.
Jimmy Dore
And now this guy, this guy is a friend of Russia. So now he's connecting with Russia and they can't have that. Since coming to power in September 2022 after the country's second coup that year, this guy Traore, I think that's how you say his name, has dealt, has dwelt on a rhetoric of self reliance and independence from the west, particularly former colonial ruler France. A message that often resonates with young Africans in the diaspora. The latest Traore frenzy reached a new peak late April with a solidarity march in the country's capital following an alleged coup attempt. And comments by General Michael Langley, the head of US military in Africa accusing Pina Faso leader of misusing the country's gold reserves. Of course, following the 2022 coup that brought him to power, he promised to end the country's decades long deadly security crisis and leverage its rich resources for the benefits of its own 24 million citizens. The west can't have that. Alongside the coup hit nations of Niger and Mali, Burkina Faso has since severed ties with the regional bloc of ecowas. Criticized by many young Africans as representing the interest of leaders and not the citizens as well as long standing Western allies such as France, whose military provided security support to the government for many years to help the security crisis. Analysts and locals suggest that these factors, combined with his youth, have contributed to Traore's appeal among young Africans. There is a growing consciousness among African youth at home and abroad that they need to do something about the continent's lack of progress. It appears Traore has become the face of that consciousness. A senior fellow at the Sangali based Timbuku Institute for Peace Studies attributes the current frenzy surrounding Traore primarily to his popularity and Russian driven propaganda. Despite Burkino Faso's worsening security crisis, Traore still has so much residence and interest simply because of propaganda. In Africa, there is deep frustration with their traditional leadership, so there is polarized anger. So this is the AP trying to tell you that this guy's just, just being propped up and it's, there's nothing real about him. Still, allegations of propaganda do not adequately explain the excitement that has built up around Africa's youngest ruler. According to Chidi Akanalu, an African analyst and professor at Tuft University, Traore articulates a revolutionary message that is appealing to young populations frustrated by the thievery of what passes for democracy in their own countries. That's what's happening.
