There’s little question anymore that political elites—Democrats and Republicans alike—are part of a so-called "Uniparty" controlled by billionaire interests, and both parties cater to the same oligarchs rather than the public. Jimmy and...

Jimmy Dore
Come see us on tour in Rutherford, New Jersey, New York, New York, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Appleton, Wisconsin, Rosemont, Chicago, Louisville, Kentucky and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Go to Jimmy Dore.com for a link for tickets. This is Jimmy. Who's this?
Liam Neeson
Hello, James. This is fellow comedian Liam Neeson. How are you? My old friend and brother in comedy, fellow purveyor of shenanigans.
Jimmy Dore
Oh, brother, here we go. As I've said before, you're a fine actor, but you're not a comedian.
Liam Neeson
I have indeed heard your hot take on this topic, but this erroneous opinion was offered before the release and smashing success of my reboot of the Naked Gun in theaters now. Have you read the glowing reviews? Everyone thought the movie was hilarious. I'm as much a comedian as anybody who ever lived.
Jimmy Dore
That. That doesn't make you. Liam, did you write the jokes for that movie?
Liam Neeson
Well, of course not. Don't be silly. When you go on stage and you do your stand up comedy routine, did you personally write all of those jokes?
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
Liam Neeson
Oh, good lord. You're really making this harder than it needs to be. There are people who will write them for you.
Jimmy Dore
And then I wouldn't be a real comedian. I'd be a stage actor.
Liam Neeson
Jimmy, please. That's offensive. You can't just re categorize what it is you do on a whim. There are people who have honed the craft of stage acting for decades. You cannot just steal their valor like that.
Jimmy Dore
Okay, fine. Never mind.
Liam Neeson
Considering my new category of undeniably hilarious comedian person, I'm afraid I can no longer be a character on the Jimmy Dore show.
Jimmy Dore
Why? I don't understand. Why not?
Liam Neeson
Jimmy, as a shrewd student of the comedic arts like me.
Jimmy Dore
Oh, God.
Liam Neeson
You know full well that you can't make comedy out of something that is already funny. It's as bulletproof as the rule of three.
Jimmy Dore
Okay?
Liam Neeson
It's. It's like when you see a B room headliner doing a Rodney Dangerfield impression in his act and then does actual Dangerfield jokes, it's like, what the fuck is going on here? How can you parody someone who's even funnier than you are? Name names.
Jimmy Dore
I'm not sure I agree with with this analogy.
Liam Neeson
It made sense to have a Liam Nason parody when I was an aging action star doing movies like Tusk Breaker 2, Rise of the Mastodons. Yeah, but now I've rebranded as a funny man. It simply won't work. His character must be retired.
Jimmy Dore
Well, I'm sorry to hear that, Liam. We always enjoyed your phone calls.
Liam Neeson
Oh, make no mistake, so did I. Very dearly so. Those phone calls were the highlight of my every two months or so. I will miss them, but they must end in the name of the never ending struggle for comedic integrity.
Jimmy Dore
What are you going to be doing instead?
Liam Neeson
Jimmy has been a fantastic new development in my life. Completely unforeseen, and it is, to say the least, a total game changer.
Jimmy Dore
What's that, Jimmy?
Liam Neeson
I am in love.
Jimmy Dore
Oh, God.
Liam Neeson
First time since my beloved wife passed away in 2009. After her death, I swore off love and romance for the rest of time until I got to Irish heaven, where my wife would be waiting for me in a dinghy made of soda crackers afloat in a lake of whiskey. But unexpectedly, I met this wonderful woman that all changed.
Jimmy Dore
That. That wonderful. That's wonderful to hear, William. Who is this woman?
Liam Neeson
Why, my co star in the Naked Gun, Pamela Anderson.
Jimmy Dore
The Pamela Anderson?
Liam Neeson
The one and the same. Who would have imagined? Of all the people in the world to fall in love with, I fell in love with Pamela Anderson.
Jimmy Dore
Right. Okay.
Liam Neeson
The sex symbol who dominated our pop culture for nearly 20 years, defined what a sexually attractive woman was, still looks amazing, and is 15 years my junior. Who would have funk it?
Jimmy Dore
Truly amazing.
Liam Neeson
A woman whom everyone has seen on video madly copulating with the man and enthusiastically fellating him to completion. This shrinking violet is the damsel who caught my eye and won my heart. Love truly does work in mysterious ways.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, it's a real head scratcher.
Liam Neeson
And Jimmy, we are as giddy as school children. We can't keep our hands off each other. Gazing into each other's eyes and coining new lovey dovey pet names for one another that would make Navy SEALs projectile vomit. Would you like to hear something?
Jimmy Dore
No. No. I have a feeling the show wouldn't recover from that. We should probably just move on.
Liam Neeson
Oh, and you talk about recovery. This woman, Jimmy Our lovemaking sessions are so incredibly intense. My once legendary recovery time is severely tested by how utterly spent I am. But you know how it goes. You need to dust yourself off and get back in there.
Jimmy Dore
All right. Thank you. Thank you for that. We gotta go.
Liam Neeson
Fair enough, old friend. Go with God. Pamela and I have a new script we need to read. Just sent by my agent. It's entitled The Naked Gun 2 Rise of the Mastodons.
Kurt Metzger
Establishment media sucks August lighting so good.
Jimmy Dore
Luck bullshit we can't afford why fomenting this watch and see as his jack off the medium speeds and jumps the medium and hit some head on. It's the chimney door show. I so he was. So Robert Reich, Clinton's labor Secretary, went on Stephen Colbert and he said, these are my thoughts on how we save democracy are the same today as when we last spoke on the Colbert Report in 2010. So do you want to hear he says we need to get big money out of politics. I think everybody's for that. But that's not what he says and that's not exactly what Colbert says. Let's watch what they say.
Stephen Colbert
Last time we spoke was 15 years ago.
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
Stephen Colbert
You haven't changed, neither of you on the Colbert Report. And then of course, I couldn't really agree with what you were saying or really even understand what you were saying. But one of the things that you said in that interview has stuck with me ever since. We were talking about economic inequality in the United States and what the fruit of that would be. And you said at the time, here's the choice.
Jimmy Dore
Well, can I just say how economic inequality got really exacerbated in the United States? How about when Barack Obama took over and he made sure the bankers got their bonuses while he kicked 5.1 million families out of their homes? How about that? How about when he made sure that you could still go bankrupt if you got sick by giving you a right wing healthcare plan that was invented by the same people, invented Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation. And so income inequality got even worse during Barack Obama. So again, they're not going to go after the real problem. The real problem is the unit party and they all work for the same people. And it's the billion handful of billionaires that actually run everything. And so, okay, so let's. So, so they're going to talk about income inequality and what, what are the reactions that do the populace make when we have incredible income? By the way, you have, we have greater income inequality today than we've ever had in the history of our country worse than the. Than the Gilded Age. Okay? And remember what the Gilded Age means. The Gilded Age means that there's a thin veneer of gold above everything that's masking the rot underneath in our society. That was why they call it the Gilded Age. Now we're worse than the Gilded Age.
Stephen Colbert
We have either. We have reform. And in this country, we have always chosen when we understand the nature of a problem. We always choose reform. Reform that enlarges the circle of prosperity for most people.
Jimmy Dore
We've always chosen reform. No, we haven't. We didn't choose reform in 2008 when the wall street crashed the economy after deregulating the Wall street investment banking and turning it into casino hopping. We have. We didn't. Straight. We didn't. We never reinstituted Glass Steagall. We never did that. Okay? We never gave people health care that wouldn't bankrupt them. We never did that. We never did any of that stuff. We had Occupy Wall Street. And then they learned how to turn the country against each other. Who's they? The people who run the media and the same people who run the government, the billionaire class. They turned those people because the right and the left came together on Occupy Wall Street. And so they turned us against each other, calling half the country racist, white supremacists, sexists, fascists. And. And the Democrats are supposed to be protecting democracy even though they don't have democracy in their primary. They rigged both their primaries, 2016 and 2020, and then in 2024, they just didn't even have one. So there's actually more democracy in the. In the Republican Party, for sure, as a fact, than there is in the Democratic Party. So again, this idea that you're voting for democracy is just talking points from a billionaire class, and that's what they're doing right here. So let's watch this. Or.
Stephen Colbert
And in this country, we have always chosen when we understand the nature of a problem. We always choose reform. Reform that enlarges the circle of prosperity for most people. Or we have a backlash, an angry or politics that picks on immigrants or foreign trade or blames the poor or even the rich. I was really hoping the first half of that statement would be true. I kept on waiting for. I think you said at the time, like, the tap of the justice to be opened a little bit just so those at the top could preserve their position, because this second half leads ultimately towards some form of revolution. Would you please eraculate as to where we go from here? Because I think we know which one of these twos it turned out to be.
Jimmy Dore
Well, I think we have no. So he's pretending that there was a real choice in our election in 2024. There wasn't the same stuff that's happening was going to happen. Let's remember that Barack Obama built those cages that they used to cry about Donald Trump putting immigrants in. Barack Obama deported twice as many immigrants as Hispanics as Donald Trump did in his first term. Without any due process, by the way. Also without any due process. So.
Kurt Metzger
Blaming Stephen.
Stephen Colbert
Except to hope and work for democracy.
Jimmy Dore
And we have to hope and work for democracy. Except when Democrats are in power. We don't. We don't talk about oligarchs. We don't talk about billionaire money. We don't talk about democracy in our primaries. We don't talk about unrigging the voting system.
Kurt Metzger
I'm not supposed to have to hope and work for that. I'm supposed to have lived in that for the last 200 years.
Jimmy Dore
So. Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
What is he talking about? And also the people they blamed. Did you see here that the big tent they have of both poor people and global trade.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
What are you talking. Oh, that, that sad group. Oh, intel communities and immigrants.
Jimmy Dore
Make the rule of law again, the rule of our country. How do you. How do you. I'm just curious. I agree.
Stephen Colbert
I agree with you.
Jimmy Dore
How do we make the rule of law the rule again in our. The rule of law? You mean the fascist rule of law when you forced everybody to take an experimental medical treatment or they couldn't go to work, or you closed down their workplace or they couldn't go to college or they couldn't go to school or they couldn't travel? You mean that kind of rule of law? How about the rule of law where the FBI, the CIA and the entirety of the media concocts a hoax to frame the sitting president of the United States as a traitor to our country so you can undermine our democracy? You mean that kind of rule of law? You can go back to that kind. How about when Joe Biden pardons every person in his family because they were taking payoffs from foreign countries? You mean that kind of rule of law? How about the rule of law where you censor people trying to report on Hunter Biden's laptop? You mean that kind of rule of law?
Kurt Metzger
How about all the presidents go to the Hague to be tried like Nazis for the Nazi war crimes? They all did.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, that.
Kurt Metzger
We just, we tortured some folks. Ok. I guess we're moving on.
Jimmy Dore
You mean the rule of law when Barack Obama didn't prosecute the people who did an illegal war and then ordered a torture program worldwide to cover it up. And he said, I'm not going to prosecute. I mean, that kind of rule of law.
Kurt Metzger
How about the Holocaust they just did in Gaza in front of your dumb face?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, how about that kind of rule? How about the rule of law where Barack Obama killed an American citizen, a teenager, extrajudicially, without any. Just did it with a drone and then bragged about it? You mean that kind of rule, A law? So these guys, again, it's just. They just concoct this phony situation where the Democrats are for democracy and the rule of law, even though every piece of evidence of long term and short term shows you the exact opposite. They haven't had a real primary in the Democratic Party for 10 years, for a decade. They rigged it in 2016, they rigged it in 2020, and then they didn't even have a primary in 2024. They. They just appointed that Wall Street's darling, which was Kamala Harris, after they committed a coup, in the words of Jim Gaffigan, they committed a coup so they could preserve democracy.
Kurt Metzger
We do do that a lot around the world. Why wouldn't they do it here?
Stephen Colbert
What a lot of the last campaign was fought over didn't move the majority of American.
Jimmy Dore
He's saying that's what a lot of the last campaign was fought over. Meaning 2024. It was fought over the rule of law and democracy. The rule of law. You know, the rule of law, meaning we get to use lawfare against our political opponents. Not only the former president, but everybody, his lawyers and everybody around him. We're going to prosecute all those people. How about we over prosecute January six people, something that was rigged, instigated and concocted by the FBI so we could criminalize a political movement? The rule of law. Joe Biden was demented for four years, and they lied to you in concert. All of them, the political class, the US Media, everybody, the newspaper, they all lied to you. You mean that kind of rule of law where you're, you're duped into voting for a demented guy? I mean, that kind of rule of law. This, this is the kind of stuff, it makes me think that they really believe it. That's what I can't get over is how he said, yeah, we were, you know, the last campaign. That's what we were fighting about. But the country didn't choose the rule of law and democracy. That's what he's saying right here. Let Me?
Kurt Metzger
Yes. He's a character actor. He's doing his character. I mean, that's music.
Jimmy Dore
Let me back this up. Law against the rules of our country. How do you. I'm just curious. I agree. I agree with you.
Stephen Colbert
That was what a lot of the last campaign was. Was fought over, didn't move the majority.
Jimmy Dore
Of Americans because that's not what the campaign was about. So you're pretending that's what the campaign was about. The rule of law, democracy. It was the exact opposite. It was someone being installed by the oligarchy without a primary, without a vote from the American people. That's what it was about because that's why it wasn't about. So he's just making this up. That. That's what it was about.
Kurt Metzger
Anyway, now we know it doesn't matter who the president is, because Israel was going to be.
Jimmy Dore
Israel's always been the President of the United States. It's always been Israel.
Kurt Metzger
Is it the rule of Noah Hyde law?
Stephen Colbert
I'm just curious, how do you actually make that a reality, do you think? Because it's an excellent goal. But how do you make that immediate in people's lives? So they make that a motivating factor.
Jimmy Dore
You get big money out of politics, but. But not one. So I just want to let you know. So. So he. That gets a big chair. So he. So they act like we're the good guys, we're the. We're the choir boys, we're the boy scouts. We want to get money out of politics. Oh, really? Because I don't know if you know. In 2020, Biden had nearly twice as many billionaire supporters as 230 versus 130, giving him a broader base among the ultra. He had twice as many billionaire donors as Donald Trump in 2020. What about 2024? Well, in 2024, president election, Kamala Harris had more billionaire donors than Donald Trump. 83 billionaires supported Harris, 52 back Trump. So you mean that kind of get money out of. So I thought that's what we were. That's not what the campaign was about. I like this.
Kurt Metzger
The melons were supporting Trump. That's interesting. The scumbag melons.
Jimmy Dore
I like this. This guy Bobby Bruce says, absolute nonsense. If we get big money out of politics, how are we going to get Beyonce and Taylor Swift to play at our political rallies?
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, get big money out of orgies. I say, Jimmy, just when you. Too many big money blood orgies.
Jimmy Dore
Get big money out of politics. Just when you thought your quixotic unicorn hunt couldn't couldn't be any less realistic. You got somebody say, hold my beer. We're gonna get big money out of politics. Wow.
Kurt Metzger
It's so simple. It's like as good as a John Lennon lyric. Give peace a chance. Pete Holmes is a great joke about how stupid his lyrics. Give peace a chance. Thanks, John. Yeah, we'll try, Jon.
Jimmy Dore
We'll try.
Kurt Metzger
There's all these generalities, no specifics from this weird hip dysplasia dwarf.
Jimmy Dore
I just saw you go, democracy. We got a democracy again. Robert Reich knows how to pull down a conversation to hyperbolic sloganeering faster than America can send another billion dollars to the most moral army in the world. So anyway, should I. Let me. Let me play it once all the way through just to see the sincerity in the lying that Stephen Colbert. Just the way they just have to frame everything 100% dishonestly so they can sleep at night. And their crowd loves it. It eats it up. They're like trained seals.
Stephen Colbert
Last time we spoke was 15 years ago.
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
Stephen Colbert
You haven't changed, neither of you. On the Colbert Report. And then, of course, I couldn't really agree with what you were saying or really even understand what you were saying, but one of the things that you said in that interview has stuck with me ever since. Jimmy Dore
Well, I think we have no choice.
Stephen Colbert
Stephen, except to hope and work for democracy and to make the rule of.
Jimmy Dore
Law again the rule of our country. How do you. How do you. I'm just curious. I agree. I agree with you. That was what a lot of the.
Stephen Colbert
Last campaign was fought over, didn't move the majority of Americans. I'm just curious, how do you actually make that a reality, do you think? Because it's an excellent goal. But how do you make that immediate in people's lives? So they make that a motivating factor.
Jimmy Dore
You get big money out of politics. So it makes me think that shit libs like Stephen Colbert actually believe the garbage they're saying, that it's like he's been telling himself this lie for so long. For 10 years straight he's been telling himself this lie. He actually believes it.
Kurt Metzger
Have you not met actors? What do you think? Do you think that's what an actor is? A hollow shell of a whore? You know, then you just put words in them and they believe them and it's really convincing. And they get awards and shit. So sometimes the intel agencies remember they're being funded. The usa. Obama made that legal. So that's how this guy got. They got the laughs out of late night. They got that part done of the plan.

So this Republican representative in Nebraska is trying to tell people that they don't get to have universal health care. And he tries to use this very manipulative way to get people to hate each other instead of hate the oligarchs who make health care so expensive. 100% more expensive in the United States than the rest of the western world. And let's list. So this is in Nebraska, remember, this is in Nebraska. Ready? It talks about two big changes to the Medicaid program. One of those changes is that if you are able to work and you are able bodied, you have to work. If you choose not to work, you do not get free health care. You do not get free health care. So they're booing him for saying this now because they know that when they lose their job, they lose their health care. And a lot of people want to work, but when they lose their job, they have to go on Medicaid. And so having this requirement that you have to have a job to be on Medicaid kind of goes against the stopgap. Was it supposed to be? Anyway, so these are people in Nebraska that are booing him said because. And by the way, that's very manipulative. How many 28 year olds do you know who a don't want to work and be use a lot of health care?
Stephen Colbert
What?
Jimmy Dore
I don't know any 28 year olds who are using up the health care. So this is just another way to keep you paying 100% more for your health care than the rest of the world. And what? Go ahead, turn up, Kurt.
Kurt Metzger
And I get fucked anyway. How about that?
Jimmy Dore
What? What? Say it again, Kurt.
Kurt Metzger
But if I am working and I paid into health care and I get fucked anyway.
Jimmy Dore
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
What is he even talking about?
Jimmy Dore
Because these are all people who are working who have health care. And then when they go to use it, then when they go to use it, they get screwed. I had a kidney stone. The lady walks in, the first person they send in my room is the lady from the office who's got to take my $3,500 copay. I have insurance. I've been paying thousands and thousands of dollars. I spend at least ten grand a year alone on myself just for insurance.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, China has better health care.
Jimmy Dore
So then when I get sick, I gotta go spend another $3,500 copay. So now I'm almost 14 grand into my healthcare and guess what? I got a bill from the fire department for an ambulance ride. They drove me literally two miles they charged me two grand. Wow, I didn't know that the fire department sends you a bill. I thought I paid taxes and that's what paid for the ambulance. I'm a sucker.
Kurt Metzger
It doesn't put water in the hydrants if your house burns down.
Jimmy Dore
So now we're. So now we're up to 16 grand. I paid and I just had one thing, a kid. That's. And then I got to pay for the anesthesiologist, I got to pay for the follow up copay to go see the doctor, I got to pay for the radiology, I got to pay all this. I got to pay for the drugs at the pharmacy. So. And I didn't. So if they send the cops to my house, I don't get a bill from the police department. If they send the fire truck to put out a fire at my house, I, I don't get a bill. Why do I get a bill if they have to send me a, an ambulance? I didn't know. I thought you only got billed from private ambulances. I got a $2,000 bill to drive two miles. I don't even know if it's two miles. It's not that far from my house. That's over $1,000amile. So let's get back to this video because they. He keeps trying these. It sounds like he's doing bad comedy and they're not landing. But he sticks to his jokes. Watch. So he's. So this is a guy trying to get you to hate your neighbor. This made up person who's 28 years old, fully able bodied, doesn't want to work, but still wants health care. If they don't work, they're broke, you know, And I just want to make up what. So the person's already broke. So who are these people who are 28 years old, able bodied, but they're using up all our health care? Who are these people? I also want. They're called people who don't exist. What did you want to say? I just want to say that the point is like, so, like people have families. So he's saying like you don't. You're not working now. You nor your family can get health care. It's like, what kind of person are you? What kind of nefarious person are you.
Unknown Speaker
That you want to deny health care to people?
Jimmy Dore
And the people booing him over this are people from Nebraska. You know those far left commie hippie radicals in Nebraska. You know, the overall wearing, straw chewing, tractor driving farmers who bring us all our food are asking Americans who actually this, this. So let's. He's got more to say. They're booing him.
Kurt Metzger
Okay, okay.
Jimmy Dore
So here's a question. So, so here's a question. Do you think that people who are 28 years old that can work and refuse to work should get free health care? Yeah. They're like, hey, guess what? We all should have health care. This garbage of divvying up health care and having co pays and me pay $20,000 a year to an insurance company that doesn't cover me when I get. We should get rid of all this garbage. We should all have health care. Because if we all had universal health care, if we all had Medicare, it would actually reduce what we pay for health care, everybody, by half, by 50%. But because we give it to private companies that don't cover you anyway, we pay twice as much as the rest of the western world. And I don't think that a majority of Nebraskans agree with you. Yeah, the majority of Nebraskans, they love their health care. The only people who love their health care and their health insurance are people who've never had to use it again. One kidney stone, I'm 16, 17, 18 grand out of pocket. Do you think that if we had Medicare for all, you'd be paying higher taxes than 18 grand a year for your, for your health care? Because you wouldn't. Because you wouldn't. So I love this guy tweets out, he says, universal healthcare is such a complex beast that only 32 of the world's 33 developed nations have been able to make it work. And people say, well, you got to wait for stuff. Like in Canada, they have to wait. You know, when I had my gallbladder, I had, I had a gallbladder attack. Thought I was dying. They said, it's a gallbladder attack and it's going to happen again. You have to get it taken out. So the last thing I wanted was to go through that again. So I called to make an appointment with a surgeon. I couldn't get an appointment just to talk about the operation for a month, and then we'd have to schedule it for another month. And I'm like, I'm gonna have another gallbladder attack. So I had to go out of my insurance network and pay out of my own pocket to find a surgeon who would take me sooner. So I was going to have a two month wait. So this idea that you don't have weights in the United States is just crazy. When I had my occipital neuralgia which I got from my vaccine injury, which is nerve damage. I had to go see a neurologist. It took me two months just to get an appointment. Two months in California, in Los Angeles, to see a neurologist. Reminder, left wing dark money orgs, Astroturf, these phony protests in response to Trump and House Republicans. So that's what they're saying. So all those people booing him, they're just crazy lefties from Nebraska? Yeah, that's what people are saying. That's what they're saying. They only say they want to sit sit in their on their lazy ass and have others pay for their way. Make this a commercial. Most Americans are sick and tired of the freeloaders. The reason why you're screwed over on health care isn't because of the 28 year old healthy people who don't use health health care. You're screwed over because we live in an oligarchy that wants to extract money from you when you're sick and that's why you pay 100% more than the rest of the western world. Nothing is free. I'm not working my butt off to pay for freeloaders. So that's how they keep you thinking that the problem with health care is your neighbor. The problem with the health care is not your neighbor. The problem with health care is we have vampires and parasites that charge us double and then deny us service that we've paid for when we get sick. That's the problem.
Kurt Metzger
They think you're a freeloader. The guy that paid for insurance.
Jimmy Dore
I don't. The free. Yeah, we always hear about the freeloaders, but we never hear about the expense loaders. And they're the ones who really bite you in the ass. So here's a these people cheering for free health care for 28 year olds who refuse to work are the people who live in their mom's basement and will not work. Okay, so they live in their mom's basement. They won't work, but they're going to go out to a political rally. Here's the thing, genius. Everyone will get health care. And if they end up sick, they walk into an emergency room, they will be treated. And then guess who pays for that? You do. So what? So the law is you can't deny someone health care at an emergency room. So if we had universal health care, they could go to a less expensive form of health care than an emergency room. And when they do go to the emergency room, guess who pays for it? You do. In higher premiums and through your Taxes. So let me read this to you and then guess who pays for that? You do. With much higher premiums. Which is why the insurance companies are laughing all the way to the bank. Because you idiots are always being gaslit by. It's not just the gop. It's the Democrats too. By the establishment, against your own interests. This isn't a Democrat Republican issue. This is not. They are both bought and paid for by health insurance and big Pharma. This is not a gop. This is not that. It has been proven time and time again and documented through countless empirical studies that cheap, low cost health care for those without it lowers the cost of health care for everyone and it makes for a healthier society and it makes people much more productive and able to function in the economy. But you people are always gaslit by the establishment. You're always voting because of your. Okay, I don't want to go through that.
Kurt Metzger
By the way he mixes things in Mike Flood.
Jimmy Dore
So this guy's pretending that. So this guy's problem is he's pretend. This guy Charlie Sweeney gets a lot right. The party gets wrong is that he's pretending the Democrats are the answer to this and only the GOP and Republicans are keeping you from health care. That is you, sir, have drunk the kool Aid.
Kurt Metzger
Obama did this to us worse than we were.
Jimmy Dore
Obama did this to us. He promised you a public option. You never got it. He said, I would not sign a health care bill that doesn't have a public option. And then he did. And so now you don't get to buy into Medicare. You have to go buy a product from a corporation that's going to screw you over when you get sick. Obama did that. Obama. You know Project 2025 came from the Heritage Foundation. Barack Obama's health care plan, Obamacare came from the Heritage Foundation.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, we were ahead of schedule with that one.
Jimmy Dore
Bs. So many Americans work their entire life just to get shit health care that bankrupts them. That's why those people are sharing. Because they know that we all work our ass off and then we get sick. We end up paying 10, 20, $30,000 out of our pocket, which people don't do in other countries. So the non existent people are cheering for non existent people?
Kurt Metzger
I guess. I mean, clearly your vote doesn't count.
Jimmy Dore
The people cheering are tired of watching the super rich getting everything they want and hardworking Americans getting eff over by politicians protecting the donor class. Because that's what that is. Those people are falling for that bullshit line that the. The reason why you're paying too much for healthcare is because of a healthy 28 year old. That's what that guy's trying to tell you. The reason why your healthcare and you're being screwed over when you get sick is because of healthy 28 year olds who don't use health care. If they're healthy, then they won't use health care.
Kurt Metzger
Well, I'm super grateful. I won't be forced to accept an MRNA gene therapy, I guess. Thanks us. Thanks America. That's worth it.
Jimmy Dore
So that's why those people are booing him and cheering when he says we should give everybody health care. Even that 28 year old healthy guy. They're cheering because they've experienced the health care system. They've worked their ass off their entire life and then when they get sick, they'll go bankrupt anyway. They know this is a rigged system.
Kurt Metzger
You want to hear how rigged? Mike Flood, do you know he beat. I said, I texted you he beat Carol. Carol Blood was his Democrat opponent. And if you look at the pictures I texted you, I believe that it's the same person. I believe he was. Mike Flood and Carol Blood I think are the same person.
Jimmy Dore
Totally look like it.
Kurt Metzger
That was your choices in their election.
Jimmy Dore
Flood and Blood, Flood and Blood.
Kurt Metzger
I mean, it could be more of a wrestling show.
Jimmy Dore
The people are like, do you want the people running your health care? Who did Covid? They already are.
Kurt Metzger
Who do you think Israel gets?
Jimmy Dore
Who do you think job? Just like Israel, the big pharma told the president to do vaccine mandates to shut down the economy, to have max mask mandates to kit, to close schools. Who do you think did that? That was big Pharma telling you that through Dr. Fauci. That was big Pharma. Who do you think had the mandate that you think that the money's in it for the big pharma? They already are. What I want to do is get a. We get an insurance company, mean a capitalist out from in between me and my doctor. So will it be perfect? Is Medicare perfect? No. But everybody on Medicare loves it way more than private insurance. That's why everybody goes on it and that. And if, and if Medicare is such a bad deal, why don't they give us the public option which is allowing you to buy into Medicare instead of paying money to a private insurance company like Blue Cross or Aetna. Why don't they let me let the market decide? Why can't I buy into Medicare if it's so bad, let me buy into it. They won't do that because they know everyone will. And that'll be the end of private insurance as we know it. That's why if they really believed that private health insurance was better than Medicare, they would allow you to buy into Medicare. But they don't. And that's the biggest tell right there. Ok. You know, it turns out, Jimmy, the biggest freeloaders are the US politicians who get health care on our dime. That's right. They can help.
Kurt Metzger
They don't have to get Obamacare. Remember, they were going to make them subject to the care we got and they made sure not to let that happen.
Jimmy Dore
Mm. So don't let those people think that the problem with you and health care is your healthy neighbor, 28 year old healthy guys. That's the problem with health insurance. That's why I'm paying 100% more. That's why when I get sick, I got to pay 20 grand out of my pocket because there's a healthy guy somewhere. That makes absolutely no sense, but that's. It's able to push. It gets you to hate your neighbor freeloaders. I don't want to pay for a free reload. You're paid for them anyway. You're already paying Israel. You already pay 100% more than the rest of the world for your health care. And then when you get sick, you go bankrupt anyway.
Kurt Metzger
Well, you know what they say, Jimmy, God blesses those who bless Israel and don't pay for health care for their own citizens. Who paid for Israel?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, we're sending billions of dollars to Israel. They have health care, we don't.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, we're paying pensions and health care for Nazis in Ukraine.
Jimmy Dore
Maduro responds to Trump's $50 million bounty on him with a $50 million reward for the unleashed Epstein files. Ha ha ha. So I wanted to tell people this. I don't know if you saw this, Kurt.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, yeah, I did. I think I commented on it at her something.
Jimmy Dore
Today the Justice Department and the State Department are announcing a $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Nicolas Maduro. He's the President of Venezuela now. Now the reason why they're. Why, why do you think we're trying to arrest the President of another country? That's what we're doing. That's what that says. That's Attorney General Pam Bondi. And so why do you think they're doing that? So I guess they have a little extra money because they used to have a $10 million bounty on the Al Qaeda leaders head. They had a 10 million dollar bounty on him, but now that they made him president of Syria. I guess they have a little extra money to kick around. And so now they upped it and they gave it to $50 million for.
Kurt Metzger
Is he going to be the president of Gaza?
Jimmy Dore
I wonder if he's going to be the president of Gaza. So here she is. Let's listen. So just so you know why they're doing this? It's because they want their oil. Does the people who run our country want. Just like the reason why we overthrew Iran? I mean, the reason why we overthrew. Yeah, Iran in 1953. Mosaddegh democratically elected guy because they wanted to steal his oil. And then they installed a puppet. So now they're trying to get rid of Nicolas Maduro and they're trying to. Been trying to do this forever. And then they're trying to install a guy named Juan Guaido. Remember that? So this is. This is the United States being the world's terrorist. This is not about.
Kurt Metzger
This is not because.
Jimmy Dore
This is not because we care about the people of Venezuela. We don't care that Nicholas Maduro is a dictator. We're in bed with the biggest dictator right now. We're. We're funding a genocide. We don't care about people. This is about the people who actually run this government wanting to go and steal their natural resources in Venezuela. And that's what this is all about. So let's listen.
Kurt Metzger
You know what they're pinning on them, right?
Jimmy Dore
No.
Kurt Metzger
That those gangs that came in when the illegals were in that Venezuela was purposely sending.
Jimmy Dore
Sending them.
Kurt Metzger
How did they get him here, though? I think that was with Catholic NGOs, if I remember correctly. So you're just going after Nicolas Maduro for that? Not the vast infrastructure it took to bring the fentanyl and the illegals here. It's so insane.
Jimmy Dore
And not the Joe Biden administration for keeping the border open.
Kurt Metzger
And not Joe Biden or Hunter Biden.
Jimmy Dore
Right, Here we go.
Unknown Speaker
Today, the Department of Justice and State Department are announcing a historic $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Nicolas Maduro. Maduro uses foreign terrorist organizations like tda, Sinaloa and Cartel of the Suns to bring deadly drugs and violence into our country. To date, the DEA has seized 30 tons of cocaine linked to Maduro and his associates, with nearly 6,7 tons linked to Maduro himself, which represents a primary source of income for the deadly cartels based in Venezuela and Mexico. Cocaine is often laced with fentanyl, resulting in the loss and destruction of countless American lives. The DOJ has seized over $700 million of Maduro linked assets, including two private jets, nine vehicles and more. Yet Maduro's reign of terror continues. He is one of the largest narco traffickers in the world and a threat to our national security. Therefore, we've doubled his reward to $50 million. Under President Trump's leadership, Maduro will not escape justice and he will be held accountable for his despicable crimes. If you have any information to bring this criminal to justice, call 1-202.
Jimmy Dore
So now if you believe what she just said, you are what they call a chump. You're a chump. It's the CIA who brought crack cocaine into the inner cities. And in California, Sinaloa.
Kurt Metzger
Are you joking? Is this a joke? Yeah, that's a CIA operation. They took over the cartels in the 90s.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah.
Kurt Metzger
So that's what all that is.
Jimmy Dore
And if you don't think that there are powers in the United States that wanted this country flooded with fentanyl, you're also a chump. Just like they wanted the country flooded with undocumented illegal immigrants. That. That. What, that didn't just happen. That was a policy choice. They didn't only do it in the United States, they did it in almost all of Western Europe, to the point where now, Keir Starmer, the guy who used to call you a racist for being against open borders, is now demanding that the people of Britain deserve an answer of why they were subjected to an open borders experiment. So that's. So this is the. And they're playing the same kind of game here.
Kurt Metzger
Don't answer the question or you'll be banned from Twitter and jailed in Britain. By the way, if you give them the answer of why that happens.
Jimmy Dore
Yes, here's someone being funny. Do you pay me in cash or check? So they're just telling you that he's at the palace. He said he's at the presidential palace. Here's the information. He's at the palace. You want to. Where did you.
Kurt Metzger
I heard BB's in town. Was in town, though. You could maybe. Could catch that wanted worldwide criminal.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, he's in Venezuela. How many times do we have to say it? By the way? None of this made me forget that Epstein files haven't been released. Nice try, though. So that's. Again, that's. That's more distraction.
Kurt Metzger
That's what I said on. I think I threw the B word in, Jimmy. I mean, I don't mean to.
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, he's in Venezuela. The Trump administration roundly mocked over a $50 million bounty for Nicolas Maduro. We know where he's at. He's at the presidential palace in Venezuela.
Kurt Metzger
Hey, contact our man Juan Guido and maybe he can go deep behind enemy lines the way Bilbo Nata Juhu, who did so many years ago.
Jimmy Dore
So, I mean, so the. The Bondi accused Nicholas Maduro of being one of the world's largest narco traffickers and working with cartels to flood the US with fentanyl laced cocaine. She added that Venezuela should not be flooding the United States with deadly illicit drugs when we all know that is the CIA's job.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah, no competition. We should just. America, we should just make it a podcast at this point. It's not a real place, it's not a real country. Can we just understand that?
Jimmy Dore
So the phrase he's in Venezuela was actually trending on Twitter because of this. He's in Venezuela. So this is another Epstein sleight of hand trying to distract you with this because they don't want to talk about Epstein. Many users also pointed out the news of the new reward comes as the Trump administration struggles to deal with the fallout with. From the Epstein files. He's in Venezuela with the Epstein files, joked a user. He's in Venezuela. But also we need those Epstein files. Said another. He's in Venezuela. I talked. I talked Zell Venmo. I take Zell Venmo cash. The Department of Judge. So this is all funny. So people are. So this isn't working. What the Trump administration keeps trying to do this people see right through their. They're just as phony as the Biden administration was.
Kurt Metzger
Have you seen the new headlines that from Israel that there's people say rabbis over there saying Trump's being punished for not bombing Iran enough. So that's why they were linking him. Oh really make sense why the Wall Street Journal did it, wouldn't it?
Jimmy Dore
Yes, that would make sense why the Wall Street Journal leaked that.
Kurt Metzger
Because Trump said they're starving the Gazans.
Jimmy Dore
That's right.
Kurt Metzger
That was a big no.
Jimmy Dore
No. Oh, so that was.
Kurt Metzger
I don't know if that's true, but I just saw those headlines today. I mean it makes sense though a little bit, doesn't it? With.
Jimmy Dore
Venezuelan Foreign Minister John Gill released a statement characterizing the reward as pathetic and accusing Bondi of orchestrating a crude political propaganda operation. Because that's what it is.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah.
Jimmy Dore
We're not surprised. Coming from who it comes from the same one who promised a non existent secret list of Epstein and who wallows in scandals for political favors, gill said, referring to the backlash bodney face after the Justice Department announced last month that a long rumored client list of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein does not exist. Maduro was indicted in Manhattan federal court in 2020 during Trump's first presidency, along with several close allies of federal charges of narco terrorism and conspiracy to import cocaine. At the time, the US offered 15 million reward for his arrest. That was later raised by the Biden administration to 25 million, the same amount the US provided for the Capitol of Osama bin laden following the September 11 attacks. Despite the big bounty, Maduro remains entrenched after defying the us, The European Union and several Latin American governments who condemned his 2024 reelection as a sham and recognized his opponent as Venezuela's duly elected president. Last month, the Trump administration struck a deal to secure the release of 10Americans jailed in the Capitol in exchange for Venezuelans getting home scores of migrant Getting home scores of migrants deported by the United States to El Salvador under the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. Shortly after, the White House reversed course and allowed the United States oil producer Chevron to resume drilling in Venezuela after the United States sanctions previously blocked it. So here you want to see why they're putting a $50 million bounty on Venezuelan President let's watch who bombs their neighboring countries every day? Iran. He's so. He's saying who bombs their neighboring countries every day? Is it Iran? No, it's the Zionist state led by Netanyahu, who tests bombs by destroying buildings, houses, hospitals, schools, maternity wards. Who does that? Not just now. For 76 years they've let genocide in Gaza happen. And still every day they kill a hundred Palestinians. 60 boys and girls, women, the elderly. They've destroyed 80% or more of the buildings and houses in Gaza. Schools, mosques, churches, hospitals. They've destroyed everything. And that Western world of European elites and US Imperialists supported the destruction and genocide of Gaza. A genocide broadcast live on social media. Then they went after the people of Lebanon, and then they also killed dozens, hundreds of innocent people in Beirut, in southern Lebanon. The noble Arab people of Lebanon. They are our brothers. Then they went for Syria, and they still bomb it whenever they feel like it. Netanyahu and the Zionists, now they try to crush Iran and war has broken out where Iran has shown immense military power. And as the Iranians themselves say, they still haven't brought out the strategic weapons. Hang on. That they've prepared. What do they Hang on. God damn it. What do we want for humanity? What do we want? That a nuclear war Escalates? I don't think so. That a war escalates and starts to take on global characteristics and takes all of Central Asia, East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and once again brings a great destructive war to the whole planet. Those who hold political power and have driven this war with just one word could stop it. But every day the arrogance and supremacists throw more fuel on the fire. And every single day we in Venezuela advocate for peace, for a just peace, and we support the Palestinian people, the people of Lebanon, the people of Yemen, the people of Syria, and the wonderful people of the Islamic Republic of Iran. So that's why this is happening. Because he said that. And Trump's bosses in the Likud Party, Benjamin Netanyahu and Zionist, they made him do this. Here it is. This is so dumb. It's a bigger reward than they ever offered for Osama Bin Laden. This is all more pathetic when you know it's just cope a bone for the anti Maduro hardliners in Florida after Chevron got a new license to operate in Venezuela.
Kurt Metzger
Wait, Chevron? Isn't that the one that killed all those Amazon natives land and then the guy that sued?
Jimmy Dore
Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Chevron that they polluted the. And then they lost the court case. And then they got the judges in America to put the guy, the lawyer.
Kurt Metzger
They got a corrupt judge. Yeah, to put the guy on some kind of house arrest. And then that same corrupt judge presided over a fake Trump case.
Jimmy Dore
Over a fake Trump case.
Kurt Metzger
That same Trump's not rectifying any of that.
Jimmy Dore
No, no, he's not. Isn't that interesting? You think Trump would.
Kurt Metzger
What a joke. This is such a joke. Watching this shit now. Who believes in this shit still? How can you believe in America at all?
Jimmy Dore
By the way, Maduro responds to Trump's $50 million bounty on him with a $50 million reward for the unleashed Epstein files.
Kurt Metzger
Oh, please, somebody do that. Please, somebody snitch that. 50 billion.
Jimmy Dore
What a move. Far right US President Donald Trump appears to have thought he was being clever by increasing the U.S. reward on the head of a Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro from 25 million to 50 million. But it soon backfired. Used to US attempts to undermine and sabotage his country. He's used to attempts by the US to sabotage his country. Maduro has put the attention back where Trump was trying to deflect it away from by offering a $50 million reward for the Epstein files on sex trafficker, pedophile and Trump's former best pal Jeffrey Epstein, which Trump has refused to release despite campaigning for president on the promise to do so. Last month, Trump spoke unintended volumes when after being asked about the files, he squirmed and tried to pretend that Epstein was old news. You still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? Are people still talking about this guy? This creepy? That's unbelievable.
Kurt Metzger
So I think we didn't want justice for Jeffrey Trump. Everybody wanted to know why you haven't punished the people. That worked. We're doing things with him.
Jimmy Dore
Right.
Kurt Metzger
Is it because it's so many people? You can't. That's what I think.
Jimmy Dore
So things are. It's eight months in. We're not even eight months in. We're seven months into the Trump presidency and it's completely. It seems like it's unraveling. Although they did get their big beautiful bill passed. So that's all they really care about.
Kurt Metzger
Yeah. Everything else.
Jimmy Dore
They got their trillion dollar war budget. They didn't cut anything from Doge. None of it. They didn't. They exploded the deficit. They gave a big. Another tax cut to rich people, cut health care for working people. It's the same old story. And they tried to wrap it up like this is some kind of victory for democracy in America, just like the Democrats tried to pretend that pointing Kamala Harris as the nominee without a primary is a victory for Democr.
Kurt Metzger
I can't wait to see who the next president is. It's going to be a really. It's going to be great watching that. Can you imagine the excitement of what. Of which of these two amazing parties you have to choose from is going to really take things forward in a great way. Like somebody that. I mean, what? What?
Jimmy Dore
I can't believe people still fall. I really can't believe that. But you know, Kurt, just as many, if not more people fall for what I just showed you with Stephen Colbert saying that, oh, we think that the Democrats are for democracy and getting money out of politics. They're the good boys. They're the. They're the choir BO boys. They're the Boy Scouts.
Kurt Metzger
No, they're stupid Hollywood people and stupid New York people and stupid D.C. people, which is a minority of people, by the way, which cool Bear mentioned. The majority of people hate them.
Jimmy Dore
The majority of people hate them all.
Kurt Metzger
These are people that make a living being Democrats. And I don't mean because the DNC is directly paying them. I mean, you're an actor and you want to be good in with Jimmy's old friends.
Jimmy Dore
Yes.
Kurt Metzger
Who. I don't know why you're even upset about that. What a favor you were done to have those people out of your life. What a favor. What an absolute favor from God you had.

The episode kicks off with a humorous exchange between Jimmy Dore and a character impersonating Liam Neeson. This skit serves as a comedic prelude, highlighting Dore's disdain for Hollywood portrayals and setting the tone for the episode's critical nature.
Critique of Colbert & Reich’s “Choosing Democracy” [06:27 - 21:34]
**a. Misrepresentation of Democracy:
Dore accuses Colbert and Reich of distorting the concept of democracy to fit a neoliberal agenda. He argues that their framing ignores systemic issues, such as the influence of big money in politics and the erosion of true democratic processes.
Notable Quote:
"The real problem is the unicorn party and they all work for the same people. And it's the billion handful of billionaires that actually run everything." [07:11]
**b. Economic Inequality:
The discussion shifts to economic inequality, where Dore refutes Colbert and Reich's claims by citing policies from the Obama administration that, in his view, exacerbated inequality. He emphasizes that instead of genuine reform, political actions have favored the wealthy elite.
Notable Quote:
"Income inequality got even worse during Barack Obama. So again, they're not going to go after the real problem." [08:00]
**c. Democratic Primaries and Party Rigging:
Dore critiques the Democratic Party's primary processes, alleging that they have been rigged to favor establishment candidates like Kamala Harris, thus undermining true democratic choice within the party.
Notable Quote:
"They never had a real primary in the Democratic Party for 10 years, for a decade." [14:11]
Healthcare Reform and the Myth of "Freeloaders" [24:15 - 38:17]
**a. Nebraska Representative’s Proposal:
Dore discusses a Nebraska Republican's proposal to tie Medicaid benefits to employment status, critiquing it as a manipulative tactic to stigmatize social welfare recipients and distract from systemic healthcare issues.
Notable Quote:
"How about the rule of law where the FBI, the CIA, and the entirety of the media concocts a hoax to frame the sitting president of the United States as a traitor to our country so you can undermine our democracy?" [13:48]
**b. Personal Anecdotes on Healthcare Costs:
Sharing his own experiences, Dore illustrates the exorbitant costs of healthcare in the U.S., arguing that the system punishes individuals once they fall ill, regardless of their financial contributions to insurance.
Notable Quote:
"When I get sick, I gotta go spend another $3,500 copay. So now I'm almost 14 grand into my healthcare." [26:00]
**c. Debunking the "Freeloader" Narrative:
Dore dismantles the argument that healthy individuals are burdening the healthcare system, asserting that it's the profit-driven nature of private insurers and pharmaceutical companies that inflate costs.
Notable Quote:
"The problem with healthcare is we have vampires and parasites that charge us double and then deny us service that we've paid for when we get sick." [37:08]
$50 Million Bounty on Nicolás Maduro: A Political Farce [41:57 - 50:10]
**a. Announcement and Criticism:
Dore scrutinizes the U.S. Department of Justice and State Department's announcement of a $50 million reward for the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. He characterizes the move as a publicity stunt aimed at deflecting attention from domestic issues and international conflicts.
Notable Quote:
"So this is the United States being the world's terrorist. This is not about caring for the people of Venezuela." [43:00]
**b. Conspiracy Theories and Foreign Policy:
Engaging in speculative commentary, Dore suggests that U.S. policies have intentionally destabilized regions to benefit oil interests, implicating agencies like the CIA in fueling drug trafficking and immigration crises.
Notable Quote:
"Maduro's at the presidential palace in Venezuela. Do you think the CIA had nothing to do with it?" [48:01]
**c. Media and Political Spin:
Dore criticizes the media's portrayal of geopolitical events, arguing that narratives are engineered to support U.S. foreign policy objectives rather than truthfully representing the complexities of international relations.
Notable Quote:
"This is another Epstein sleight of hand trying to distract you with this because they don't want to talk about Epstein." [46:14]
Closing Remarks and Call to Action [56:27 - 60:29]
Concluding the episode, Dore reiterates his skepticism towards mainstream political narratives and urges listeners to recognize and resist the manipulation by political elites and media conglomerates. He encourages support for his show through premium memberships, emphasizing the need for independent progressive voices.
Notable Quote:
"Don't let those people think that the problem with you and health care is your healthy neighbor." [40:37]
