Probably not. Trump finishes here. He says we need to stand by and protect our law enforcement officers from this radical left movement of violence and hate. All right, so U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement agents fatally shot a woman in her car on Wednesday on a residential street in Minneapolis. Videos of the incident that were posted on social media show the woman being shot within seconds by an ICE agent who was standing at the front of her SUV when she began driving off after being told to exit her vehicle. The shooting occurred in front of other people on Port Portland Avenue who were opposing ICE activities in Minneapolis. The Star Tribune newspaper identified the dead woman as Renee Nicole Good, citing Good's mother as the source of that information. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and another top DHS official both claimed that the dead woman, who police said had been shot in the head, was engaged in an act of domestic terrorism by intentionally trying to run down the ICE agents. I mean, it was a dumb move to pull off like that, but I don't think she was trying to run down the ICE agent. She was pulling away. It was a chaotic situation.

Tim Waltz blasted DHS for saying they knew the motives of the dead woman without doing an investigation. The governor said he had issued a so called warning order to state officials to prepare to deploy Minnesota National Guard troops. We've been warning for weeks that the Trump administration's dangerous, sensationalized operations are a threat to our public safety. That someone was going to get hurt. Just yesterday I said exactly that. Walt said, what we're seeing is the consequences of governance designed to generate fear. Headlines in conflict. It's governing by reality tv. And today that that recklessness cost someone their life. I hate that you're making me agree with Tim Waltz. That's what I hate.

All right. The Trump administration is demanding that Venezuela's interim leader take several pro U.S. actions that her predecessor refused if she wants to avoid a similar fate. That's weird. I thought we were not at war with Venezuela. I don't know what that threat means.

U.S. officials have told Delsey Rodriguez that they want to see at least three moves from her cracking down on drug flows, kicking out Iranian, Cuban and other operatives of countries or networks hostile to Washington and stopping the sale of oil to U.S. adversaries, according to a U.S. official familiar with the situation and a person familiar with the administration's internal discussions. U.S. officials also expect Rodriguez, the former vice president now running Venezuela, to eventually facilitate free elections and step aside. The two people.

How many attempts have they made to do this kind of shit? This one succeeded because there's people on the inside in his own party that were like, okay, do it, because it's getting tenable here. America. People hate America. They're not going to go, like, let this happen unless the guy's fucking up so bad. Which is what I guess they wanted with the. With the. All the interference we had with all this shit.

Two days after the US struck Venezuela and captured its dictator, Nicolas Maduro, much remains unclear about what Washington plans for the aftermath. The White House argues that Maduro's ouster was a law enforcement move against a drug lord, not a regime change operation. Isn't that what you just did? You just did a regime change? What are we. What are they talking about?

They're saying he was never a regime. They're trying to do some funny wordplay, of course, because you know how we had to deal with. We don't want to give the terrorists rights of prisoners of war. So you call them enemy combatants, which, by the way, just means a POW. Or. I like how Israel does their POWs. Raise them to hostages from POW.

Right. This is how they're explaining their steps so far. Trump's penchant for dramatic action and targeted strikes may face its ultimate test in Venezuela, an economically broken nation of 30 million, where missteps could lead to violence and other instability that would never happen. What hell are they talking about? Iraq is a paradise right now.

Rodriguez appears to be the linchpin in any US strategy that may emerge. While she is a longtime ally of Maduro with serious socialist bona fides, the Trump team is nonetheless confident she will do its bidding. If not, she faces significant military action. Trump warned. Trump threatens the country he's not at war with. Wow. Uh, Venezuela thus far has been very nice, but it helps to have a force like we have, trump told reporters Sunday on Air Force One. If they don't behave, we will. We will do a second strike. Wow.

So confusing. They talk about a second strike when they won't admit they did the first one. Apparently in a matter of days. Rodriguez has shifted from her initial condemnation of Maduro's capture to saying late Sunday that she would work with the US on an agenda of cooperation. Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated during TV interviews over the weekend that Trump's claim that the US will run Venezuela is more about influencing Rodriguez. He also has mentioned in interviews the importance of holding elections while trying to lower expectations that that will happen anytime soon. Well, that's great. I'm so happy that we're responsible for Venezuela now. My friend said, you break it, you buy it. That's what this is.

On the heels of the US's dramatic ouster of Maduro, Trump, in a social media post, said the oil will be sold at its market price and that money will be controlled by me as President of the United States of America to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States. Trump has said that US Oil companies would end up investing billions of dollars to rehabilitate Venezuela's aging oil production capabilities. Here we have James Lee. The sale of Amber Energy, a subsidiary of Elliott Investment Management was forced by creditors of Venezuela after the country defaulted on its bond payments. In remarks to Fox News on Saturday, Trump made clear that one of the motivations for Saturday's attack was to increase the production and export of Venezuelan oil. Venezuela has the largest proven reserves of crude oil in the world. Trump said that moving forward, the US Would be very strongly involved with the Venezuelan oil industry. Industry observers anticipate a rapid rerouting of Venezuelan oil experts re establishing the US as the major buyer of the country's volumes. Jaime Brito, an oil analyst at opis said access to Venezuelan oil experts will quote, be a game changer for U.S. gulf coast refiners in terms of profitability. Paul Singer, thanks to a well timed transaction, will be one of the largest beneficiaries.

Denmark says an attack would end the NATO military alliance. If the president identifies a threat to the national security of the U.S. every president retains the option to address it through military means. I feel like we have a threat to our security right here at home. We don't take care of our own people. Can we. Can we sick the military on that? Barrow said Rubio had ruled out the possibility of an invasion of Greenland in a phone call with him. Okay. Barrow is to discuss the Arctic island, which is located in an area of strategic significance, with his German and Polish counterparts later on Wednesday. On Tuesday, European leaders issued a joint statement rallying behind Denmark, which is which has been pushing back against Trump's ambitions to own Greenland belongs to its people, and only Denmark and Greenland can decide on matters concerning their relations, the leaders of France, the uk, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and Denmark said in a joint statement. So now we're pissing off our allies. That's good. So this is a little history on how Greenland became a territory of Denmark. Greenland ended up as a Danish territory through a long sequence of medieval union politics, colonial claims and 20th century constitutional changes that transferred sovereignty from Norway to to the Danish crown and then fully integrated the island into the Danish state. Today it is in an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark with its own government. But under the Danish monarch, Norse settlers from Iceland and Norway colonized parts of Greenland around the late 10th century and the island became part of a North Atlantic realm ruled from Norway. Over time, the crowns of Denmark and Norway came together in a union, so Greenland as a Norwegian dependency effectively came under the joint Danish Norwegian monarchy when the Denmark Norway Union broke after the Napoleonic Wars. The 1814 Treaty of Kiel ceded mainland Norway to Sweden but left its overseas colonies, including Greenland, under the Danish king. This treaty is the key legal moment that detached Greenland from Norway and tied it directly to Denmark as a colony in the 18th century. Missionary Hans Gruber. Hans Gruber of Nakatomi Plaza marks the beginning of renewed Danish Norwegian colonization in a trade monopoly, cementing continuous Danish control on the ground. In 1933, an international court ruling rejected a Norwegian attempt to claim part of eastern Greenland, affirming Denmark's sovereignty over the whole land. This is why I don't know about history. I can't read this and be serious. I don't know. After World War II and under UN decolonization norms, Denmark changed Greenland's status in 1953 from colony to a county, fully incorporated into Danish realm and granting representation in the Danish Parliament. The constitutional change is why Greenland is described as part of the Kingdom of Denmark rather than a classic overseas colony. Greenland received home rule in 79, creating its own parliament and government while remaining under the Danish crown. A Self Government act in 2009 expanded powers further and defined a path by which Greenlanders themselves could choose full independence. But until such a decision, the island remains an autonomous territory of Denmark.

A day after the US military action in Venezuela, Katie Miller, the wife of one of Trump's senior aides, posted a map of social media on social media of Greenland in the colors of the US flag alongside the word soon. This is Katie. So this is Stephen Miller's wife, it looks like is okay.
