We have shared a lot about how the state of your home can affect your health and your family… but what if we told you that the more order you have at home, the more order and success you will see in your business? It is very hard to give your business 100% if you are constantly worried about the state of your home. Finding rhythms in your home will go hand in hand with finding rhythms in your business. And isn’t that what you want to see more of? In this episode, Kaci and I (Veronica) share how most of our skills to get order and rhythms in our home are the very same skills that lead to progress in our businesses (yes, both Kaci and I have many business ventures and career paths that we are on, just like you!) and we want to let you know that you don’t have to wear so many different hats all of the time– you can wear YOUR hat well in different roles. As high achieving women in business and motherhood, we (usually) have high expectations of what we can get done in a day, or even how much we can accomplish in an hour. This is often the root where calendar planning falls apart. What do you do when you planned to do something for an hour but it’s taking you much longer to do it? How do you get back on track with the rest of your day when this ONE task throws off the whole day…First off, Kaci and I (Veronica) wanna say that we have both been there. Calendar planning is a skill that takes some trial and error. AND we want to let you know four things we WISH someone would’ve told us when we started our journey to hopefully help you along the way. We think you’ll really like this one! Disclaimer: Nothing shared on The Thriving Mompreneur Podcast is professional medical advice. One is long term, one is daily… focus your energy on the daily tasks to get to where you want to go in the long term (your goals and outcomes) and celebrate your progress along the way. Point 2: Your family DOES belong on your calendar and so do you! We know that you have a lot to juggle, and make sure to put EVERYTHING on your calendar (from time spent with your kids, to activities, to date nights) so that you know exactly how much time you can devote to your business. Before you do this, make sure you define what being a good mom, business owner, and spouse, and all of your other titles mean to you… once you know that you can make that your goal (long term) and focus on creating time for each thing each day (action step)Point 3: scheduling for fulfillment vs productivityUnderstand what is TRULY important to you… not what you think someone else told you to prioritize but what truly is your goal here? Define it so that you can work towards it! Then make sure it aligns with your values, boundaries, and beliefs. When you KNOW that you KNOW everything in your calendar aligns with these things… you will feel fulfilled at the end of the day. Point 4: Going from all or nothing to slow and steady wins the race. Somewhere along the way on our journeys to adulthood we lost site of how to truly succeed. It was never an overnight thing. We w...

Have you ever been in a season where everything just feels like chaos? The kids are off schedule, the business is taking up a lot of your time, and you and your spouse can’t seem to get on the same page… and all of the sudden you look around your home and there is clutter everywhere. What once had order doesn’t, both figuratively and literally, in your home and maybe even in your mind. Well, we have been there too and we made this episode just for you. One of the things you will hear in this episode is a version of the chicken or the egg analogy— does the physical clutter come first or the mental clutter? And honestly, who can be sure, right? But what we DO know is that they are often happening together at the same time. And one simple way to clear the clutter in your mind can be to clear the clutter out of your physical space. Check out this episode for tips and tricks on how to get the ball rolling in the right direction again in your home and business!Disclaimer: Nothing shared on The Thriving Mompreneur Podcast is professional medical advice. Realizing that clearing up your physical space may take some time but it leads to freeing up space for MORE of what you truly want in your life! How sometimes the reason we don’t feel motivated to clean our spaces can be tied directly to a mental block we are having in other areas of our lives. Today, guest star Natalie Vitashkevich, a mom to 2 humans and 1 dog, an owner of two small businesses, a holistic health coach and an autoimmune disease warrior, shares her story in how she made it through a teaching career and daycare career resulting in complete burnout and a autoimmune diagnosis. She shares how she overcame some of the obstacles to prioritizing her whole health and she lets you know how you can do it, too!Disclaimer: Nothing shared on The Thriving Mompreneur Podcast is professional medical advice.
