Are you a fan of hauntings, vortexes, lay lines, mysterious shit and Pigman? Well this is the pod for you. Each week a new urban legend is looked at with a non-scientific rigour only seen usually at the top of government. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll fast forward you may even fall in love (unrelated).
Feel free to email about the show if you have any theories about anything discussed, and urban legends you want us to look at, if you want any advice on etiquette or anything or have a speed boat to sell Neil. If the email is insulting I should state in advance that I have a black web hacker on retainer and I am very vindictive.

200TH (STANDARD) EPISODE!!! As a podcast we like to do things a little differently. Yes a lot would make a big deal about a landmark episode but we on Urbane Legends are celebrating it with a low energy episode about something no one has ever heard of. But dont worry, there is still one more surprise episode of the series to come. This episode is about when cryptids teamed up with the Royal Navy to take over a submarine during WW1. Hosted on Acast. This week join us as we explore the terrifying and smelly world of the Swap Slobs. Also featuring cheeky cheery Carnies, Jaded cops too old for this and a slew of Randys we are back to the 70s where we belong. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The hottest podcast in the world returns after a brief hiatus and we explain our strategy for the Pod. Chris raises his concerns with the proposed digital ID but Neil is too dead inside to care. Meanwhile we dive into the mind-blowing 23 Enigma. Confirmation Bias or something more sinister? Listen on to find out... Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

AKA the Ballad of Holt-o. This week we look at the disappearance of Australian Prime minister Holt-o. A man who's political career was built on a plane crash, the catching and eating of spears, swimming, womanising and.....spy craft? Well we look through all the evidence with the finest of toothed combs, like a flea comb or something to get to the bottom of this indelible mystery. Hosted on Acast. In this episode of the podcast that is called 'Urbane Legends' apparently, these two tits from England talk about some legend or something, i think they must be stupid, about some kind of monster or snake of something in Africa or Asia, cant remember, and some idiots who went to look for it in the forest and some of them were doing it because of the Bible or whatever and loads of the locals seemed to think it was real but i dont trust them and then it finished. 1* Hosted on Acast. In this week's episode we explore the history of the Beatles conspiracy theory around Paul MaCartney dying and being replaced by MI5 when they had less important stuff to do. Featuring terrible scouse accents, our favuotite beatles songs, cheese Toastie recipes, Trumps emerging socialist empire, Our childhood music heros, remembering Newsround and Robbie Williams makes an apperance twice for some reason. Have you seen whats going on at the Hot Wells Hotel? Some glass blower is having a party with some artists, ghosts and skateboarders! Dont worry, it will burn down in a minuet. Yes its a haunted hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Originally from the times of the wild wild west and still going now its had a storied history, a strange history and a mainly being on fire history. However the tickets are pretty reasonable so could be a decent day out, especially if tied to the pub crawl which is also offered. Thats living alright. Hosted on Acast. A hole, a phenomenon, an army and a podcast. All these come together this week as we hop on the megabus to Eastern Europe to check out the legendary Tsarichina Hole. Or holes. Yes there are two separate things going on. One is a mysterious timeless folk tale and one is the Engineering Core of the Bulgarian Army. And what do the locals know? They aren't saying or weren't told. This may feel like several sentences of someone saying nothing, if it does, well spotted, you're a sharp one. Good day Hosted on Acast. All that is new has gone before. In this depressing episode of the podcast we look at a panic that swept London in the 19th century. Are their any parallels to today that can be drawn? Surely not, we are much more sophisticated now right? Ugh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
