Are you a fan of hauntings, vortexes, lay lines, mysterious shit and Pigman? Well this is the pod for you. Each week a new urban legend is looked at with a non-scientific rigour only seen usually at the top of government. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll fast forward you may even fall in love (unrelated).
Feel free to email about the show if you have any theories about anything discussed, and urban legends you want us to look at, if you want any advice on etiquette or anything or have a speed boat to sell Neil. If the email is insulting I should state in advance that I have a black web hacker on retainer and I am very vindictive.

A hole, a phenomenon, an army and a podcast. All these come together this week as we hop on the megabus to Eastern Europe to check out the legendary Tsarichina Hole. Or holes. Yes there are two separate things going on. One is a mysterious timeless folk tale and one is the Engineering Core of the Bulgarian Army. And what do the locals know? They aren't saying or weren't told. This may feel like several sentences of someone saying nothing, if it does, well spotted, you're a sharp one. Good day Hosted on Acast. All that is new has gone before. In this depressing episode of the podcast we look at a panic that swept London in the 19th century. Are their any parallels to today that can be drawn? Surely not, we are much more sophisticated now right? Ugh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In the free wheeling, bring your toys to school day final episode of the series we look at the frankly unimpressive Chupa (Suck) Cabra (Chub). Much like fellow stars Mcauly Culken, Snow and Chaka Demus and Plyas its imperial phase was the 90's. Ah the 90's, remember when we were in the 90's and though everything was shit? Can't Sunday Quarterback the ghost of a whisper of a glimpse of your younger self, no matter how many sacrifices you are willing to perform. Anywho, yeah, probably just a dog and some fraud. This weeks episode is about Badang the Strongman. An inspiration for us all he brings himself up from humble beginings through hardwork and eating vomit. Feat possibly Snoop Dogg's finest film role, Amazon innovative business plan and more Elon discussion. Co starring Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse (out of copyright versions only). Hosted on Acast. Back in the regular slot after the Christmas and the New Year Eve we are asking ourselves the question that dare no speak its name but returns to us every night in the liminal space twixt wake and dream; How much Vodka is too much Vodka. Is too much Vodka when you cheerfully tell a tall tale based on a sci fi short or in fact is the the right amount of Voddy because its a laugh. Also lots of Chris trail of though nonsense and weak premises and Neils attempts to placate said man child. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This week we are looking at the legend of the Yuki-onna a sometimes nice more often nasty japanese personification of winter. Find up what we've been up to, reasons to be cheerful this year, how Geoff Capes got his powers, and how we feel about winter, ravines, and woodcutters. Hosted on Acast. In our first attempt at a topical episode today we look at Space Nazis. All opinions are in Minecraft. Two episodes this week to make up for the xmas break. Happy New Year Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Welcome to our version of a Christmas special, the origins of Laplands Claim on Santa. There are Nazis, street plan claims, wooden goat lads shitting up children and some choice opinions based on the fact the world is going crazy. Have a happy holiday everyone! Hosted on Acast. In this weeks late episode we stray unknowingly into the realm of TRUCRIM as we question why this is considered an Internet Urban Legend, have we been hoisted on Chris's petard? Wouldn't be the first time, kid wont put his petard away Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
