Season 11 concludes with John and Arvin discussing the nuances around awkward social interactions and the importance of living with God-given permission to be yourself. Unless you live under a rock, you're likely encountering all kinds of people throughout your day. The unique quirks and idiosyncrasies people come to adopt can accumulate and create a persona that "works" in society but also pushes your true identity further and further away from reality. The gap between who you really are and who you pretend to be is often where shame and self-hatred grow like mold. Serving on staff at a Church can accidentally force a person to project a version of themselves that isn't entirely honest.Thankfully, this doesn't have to be the case forever. John and Arvin have both survived this mistake and love sharing the newfound ways one can simultaneously usher others into their best days without neglecting their own unique "behind the scenes." More than any other category of society, the Church should be a place where people can be themselves while allowing God to grow their awareness and experience of who He's made them to be in light of who He is. Enjoy this final episode of Season 11 and may you live with God-given permission to be yourself as He sees you.

This week’s episode is a gentle but honest discussion about hearing the voice of God and making good decisions after having done so. One of the most important behind the scenes topics in any Christian’s life is the ability to actually hear God’s voice and discern what He’s really telling you to do. John and Arvin dive into personal examples where things have gone really well or rather poorly based on how they or their friends have chosen to steward God’s voice in their lives. This conversation won’t be the ultimate guide to hearing God’s voice, but it may grant you some comfort and resonance as you go about pursuing a life lived through and for Him.

In this episode, John and Arvin discuss the importance of developing healthy friendships while serving God and others in ministry. They note the difference between a “Giver” and “Taker” as it pertains to social dynamics and make their best attempt at granting listeners a sense of permission to slow down and be grateful for the people and life God has already given them. For those who’d say they’ve received nothing and no one from God, they offer an easy-to-implement solution that may shift a person from loneliness to a place of knowing/being known.

In this episode, John and Arvin discuss what is perhaps the most behind the scenes topic in the history of the podcast. What is it like to inherit the wins and losses of the past while seeking God for what He intends to do through you in the future?Parenting, Church-life, and an all-consuming, all-hands on deck approach to living out your God-given destiny will force a person to reckon with their internal world. John and Arvin hope this episode will equip any listener with the potential strategy they can use to step into the future God wants for humanity (and take their loved ones with them).
