Today's episode is all about the Mind Body Connection. I am so honored to get to talk with Tanner Murtagh, MSW, RCSW, who is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. He works primarily with clients who have chronic pain, utilizing Pain Reprocessing Therapy and other therapies to support clients. His therapeutic approach involves helping clients change their emotional response to the pain, reduce fear and frustration about their pain, attend to emotions in their body with a sense of safety, processing trauma, and reducing high alert behaviours that worsen pain.
