Today's episode is with my long time friend Jeremiah Woods (no relation lol). We met in college and he was a part of the chapel team and has been an inspiration to me and so many others in the worship space. He's not only phenomenally talented, but he has such wisdom, depth, insight and a heart for Jesus and His church! He currently serves at Lakewood Church and has sung for artists such as Israel Houghton and many others!
We dive into many things around worship and worship leading. We've both navigated worship and the worship "industry" and the importance of having a heart of worship and the importance of surrendering to God's presence. Jeremiah emphasizes the significance of contentment in small worship spaces and the responsibility that comes with larger platforms and does a great job to encourage worship leaders to focus on what God is doing and to prioritize ministry to Him. We also highlight the importance of avoiding pride and recognizing God's work in worship.

This conversation explores the importance of offering true worship and the tests of faithfulness and humility that worship leaders face. This discussion emphasizes the need to redirect the focus back to God and repositioning of our hearts.
