Recently I have had many people send me reels with twangy Australian voices using the word cunt not unlike the consistent word of “um”……Australia as a nation has single handedly used, abused and totally tainted the beauty of cunt and made it become so common in its degrading. This does her no justice what so ever.Inside The Pleasure Studio with Melissa Louise is a reader-supported publication. Because that is no place for her at all.So I wrote a poem about her and thought I would share a little history to you all for your reading pleasure.The word cunt is one of the oldest known terms for the female genitalia actually predating patriarchal language systems. IN fact her earliest linguistic ancestors appear in Sanskrit: yoni (meaning “sacred source” or “womb of creation.”), in Proto-Germanic & Old Norse.. kunta or kunte, which denotes “woman” or “female power.” and the good ole Old English…..cunte, a neutral and descriptive word simply meaning vulva.Before the word was shamed and weaponized, it was a god damn title of reverence, associated with the goddess, creation, and the life-giving portal from which all beings are born.And the pure poetic essence of “Cunt” once meant the holy doorway, the temple gate through which life emerges.It was a word of worship, a name for the divine feminine, for the dark, wet, fertile mystery that births stars, souls and god damn rock stars! ( and the weavers, potters, farmers and pilots)..all of them truth be told 1It is the cave of creation,the sanctum of pleasure and power,the seat of intuition,the portal between worlds…death, birth, ecstasy, and rebirth.To speak it in its original vibration was to invoke the Goddess herself Kundalini, Kali, Isis, Inanna, the Great Mother.So…for this Friday morning I am just doing my own bit of reclaiming and i hope you like it.This is not about shock value ( although… maybe just a little ) but it is more about remembering.It is about returning the word to her rightful throne god damn it.from slur to spell,from shame to sovereignty.When spoken with awareness, cunt becomes a prayer, a dripping pulse and a reclamation of our erotic, creative divinity.Happy Friday loversAlways with PleasureM💋 This is a public episode. Then when I moved into re-genopause and my body stopped bleeding every month, it was like I woke up with the flames licking at my feet.It was like ever bit of truth that had me nervous, unsure if I could speak about it, how to speak about it and unsure if I could deal with the punishment if I did - just became clear.It kind of feels like I woke up one day and felt, “Oh - I just don’t give a fuck really” In all the places I was concerned, I am just not.”And now that i can't reproduce more consuming minions for the hungry beast of the industrialized project, I am also ignored a little more. Not just a little more..like a lot. You know the drill. Older lady. Apparently has no idea about life..her wisdom was DHL ‘ed off somewhere…Which I kind of like a lot. As it is quieter over here. More peaceful. More space.It is a wonderful thing that I would recommend to EVERY woman.So gorgeous one,Let me tell you something—just by purely existing, you are fucking phenomenal. And if you exist outside the system and actually make the decision to love yourself, you are a radical, revolutionary threat to the patriarchal power that has tried to contain women for centuries.Just think about that for a moment.Truly loving yourself allows you to detach from the multi Billion dollar industry created just to keep women in the belief they are not good enough.It is quite the thing.…..Cutting bodies.Filling flesh.Removing skin.Reshaping labia’s…. I mean ….Then there is the way boys are raised, bullied and coerced to believe human emotions are weak, annoying and crazy, so they can grow up and be-little their female partners for it ( for basically being human ), let alone dismissing the actual need for men to cultivate the necessary powerful emptiness required for him to be present with those who birthed their children, who birthed them and birthed the nation..Anyways…It is all rather ludicrous.Insanely ridiculous, yet the all very common unspoken law in religions, government and households. - The feminine is dirty, inconvenient, unintelligent, crazy, unstable and not to be believed.Do you ever wonder why women have up to a fourfold increase in risk for autoimmune disease compared to men?I do.All the time.I peel back the layers of our masculine project led world that has women forcing themselves every single day to fit into a square box in order to “stay safe” whilst they are the beautiful round universe itself.You see the world does not fear a woman who follows the rules.They fear a woman who trusts herself so deeply that she no longer needs them.A woman who doesn’t look outside for validation, permission, or proof of her worth. A woman who knows her body is hers alone—her pleasure, her voice, her power, undeniable and untamed.That’s why the work I do is not just about intimacy, or sexuality, or relationships. He was booked to speak at a men’s online summit on the weekend and asked me to make a video for the men that he would show during his talk.When I woke on Sunday morning my phone was blowing up with messages about how amazing it went and that there were even tears shed by some of the men.So I thought I would share it here for all of you.We are all here trying our best to walk one another home in a society that is hell bent on keeping us separate from one another, exhausted and stretched to the max so that the only thing we are focused on is “scaling our businesses”.What about scaling our joy? Our happiness? Our depth in relationships?What is the point on scaling to millions if all you are doing is managing that beast?What is the point of scaling to immense wealth and you wake up to realize that the person you are with is someone you truly don’t know would actually be with you if it all fell apart because along the way money and deals had been the priority, not the cultivating of personal wealth in understanding, sex-ploration, absolute joy and internal happiness?What is the point of having the shiny head turning car when the woman who sits in the passenger seat is unable to experience deep life changing, bed shaking, neighbour complaining orgasms that change her skin, how she looks and cracks her heart so fucking wide open that she can barely talk for hours afterwards?Sure.If you want to just push through and lie to yourself that success means you can buy top shelf. liquor to fill the emptiness, that surface level conversations allow you to take the easy road and that if she is making noises that sound like an orgasm within 20 min then you must be “doing a good job”. This is someone who is turned on by the mental aspectof power dynamics and power play. The control. The surrender. The Light.
