Stop Check-in on your emotions. Try removing them from this current situation. The primary emotions you must let go off are guilt and shame. They do not serve you here. Problem Find the actual problem you are facing at this moment. How did this start? What action or lack of action led to this moment of chaos? Integrate it This step is the how and the who. How are you going to prevent this from happening again? Who do you need to communicate with to prevent this from happening in the future? Clean/ Identify your cycle. This step is my call to action. As a mom with ADHD, I have to give myself numerous reminders to get to work. The letter C also reminds me that chores are not singular tasks on a to-do list. They are cycles you repeat. ExecuteI struggle with executive dysfunction, which means I plan a lot and forget/avoid/can't take appropriate action steps. E is my reminder to do that chore! 3 tools I use daily as mom with ADHD Topic 1 - sunsama This app functions as my daily planner. This would replace a paper planner for me. This software is incredible and I use in conjunction to the other two apps. Why I like this instead of a paper planner? Give me more of a time reality check I can log onto it anywhere! Topic 2 - Notion This app is so integral to me. It helps me keep a master list of all the chore I need to get done during the day, week, month and year. I keep my home management outline here, meal planning and grocery list. And it goes directly into my sunsama so my tasks are clearly laid out. Topic 3 - google calendar This one may seem obvious. I love google calander for mapping out my day and setting up blocks of time to get chores done. This app help me stay on track and gives me phone notifications for upcoming events. Sunsama directly feeds into this so that I can see my daily plan in my calender. I also have family calendar for shared events and google calendar in general is how I keep my husband and I in sync with events of our very busy lives. Actions steps - Journal for a few minutes on the following questions: 1 - What apps do you use daily? Are they benefiting you? 2- In what ways are you reaching for the perfect productivity system but just not able to "put in the work"? What are you looking for? In this channel, you will find inspiration for getting your house, and life in order so that you can be there for your children and husband exactly as you want to. My mission is to guide Mom with ADHD to calm their inner dialogue through strengthening their mental health, creating routines and systems and teaching about how to use ADHD as an asset. I want you to stop chasing squirrels and feel like you are in control of your brain. If you are ready to stop chasing squirrels, eating your kids animal crackers, and laundry piles, then I am here to help you reign in the chaos that is your life and embrace yourself! HI!! I am Kailyn Galloway. I thought I had my ADHD in control. I thought all I needed to do was to try over and over. And that worked until my son came along. I realized the ability to manage the house, medical appointment, my husbands schedule, and dinner was utter chaos. No matter what I did I could not get ahead. I felt like I was constantly drowning in the sea of dishes and running from the never-ending repeat of “What’s for dinner?” I finally realized that I need to create a management system that would not only create a clean tidy home, fold laundry and all, but time for me to take care of myself! Let me show you how to slow down that brain and create a lifestyle you love!

Three reasons you are not meal planning: Reason 1 You are making it too complication Action step: simplify it: easy meals with five ingredients or less and have it precut etc. Reason 2 You are adding too much variety. Reason 3 You are chasing the dopamine food for nourishment; it should not be your dopamine crash! Bonus - Add a reminder in the morning and at lunch on your phone that says, “ What is for dinner?” Beat them to the question and plan ahead! Actions steps - Journal for a few minutes on the following questions: 1 - What are some easy meals I prep for myself? 2 - Where is your meal plan falling apart? Meal planning, shopping, budgeting, fridge storage, cooking, timing? Etc? 3 - Is there something I can do to better prepare for chaos? The simple step they can take! Why ADHD moms need a routine! Tired Of the morning chaos? Here are two reasons why your morning is not working the way you want. And what can you do about it? Reason 1: ADHD most commonly results in a distortion of time. You cannot accurately assess how much time you have to do things You must have a set routine that you know has a clear set of time to do thingsReason 2: A plan ( a routine) leads you to leave Prior proper planning prevents poor performance! You cannot plan for everything but a routine forces you to plan ahead and see where things can be derailed. So what does this mean? Here is the real deal. An appropriate morning routine starts at night. Before you go to bed, everything you need should be ready for you to start your day. The coffee pot should be prepped. Your outfit out. You should know where your keys, wallet, and ID are... But here is the secret. You cannot just expect these things to fall into place. You have to create a system that puts them there! Actions steps - Journal for a few minutes on the following questions: 1 - What do you need to start your day off correctly? 2 - Why do you think you haven’t started your day with routines? 3 - Is there something I can do to better prepare for chaos? The simple step they can take. Take a photo and share it on Instagram @Organized ADHDmom! Let me know if this is working for you!
